1st post!!!

So excited to start on this journey. I think I'll make some kind of presentation post later.

It's currently almost 3am, and this is soo gonna screw up the sleep routine I've recently more or less been following. But I won't let it do that!

For me, school starts the day after tomorrow (which is technically already tomorrow!!), I'm so nervous...

I was up till late because tonight I decided to be productive so I cleaned these shelves in my room to make room for the books from the last years which I wanted to keep.

This way, I could move my new books onto the shelf above my desk!!!

It's something between exciting and intimidating...

I also have some new really pretty notebooks my mum got me but they're all kind of similar so I'm a little scared I'll mix them up (I'll have to pay more attention, and if that doesn't work, put on name tag).

In addition, today I:

washed my hair (finally. Now I'm waiting for a new shampoo to try, it should arrive on Friday and fix all my issues);

spent some time with my cat (he's so cute!!);

changed my sheets (I wanted to feel fresh for the new year).

I'm soo tired so I'll go to sleep and try to still wake up early tomorrow. It is not ideal, as sleeping is important, especially right now, but I don't want to not be able to sleep tomorrow.

Actually, it might even be a good thing.

I really don't think we are talking enough about the range ksh's crying has. He's cried every episode, every episode and we've had outright bawling, tears pouring, stifled cries, teary eyes, happy tears, sad tears, devastated tears, hopeful tears, and it's the way his eyes can communicate all that he's feeling and how that is expounded further by the slightest facial movements and the tone of his voice.

And i know he's the king of crying, im sure the writer wrote the script and went who do I know who cries better than anyone, ah ksh, here's the script, no one can play it better. But I really think we need to appreciate the range more, he's never cried like this in previous dramas and certainly each ep his tears have been different, because he's been crying for different reasons and wow the actor he is.

I have not forgotten the "I love you haein-ah" tears, that alone deserves all the awards.

Took me all week since I was using a new drawing program and I'm still learning digital art in general, but I made a Faeu Sona! haven't even made a reference sheet for my regular sona...

Anyways, this is Cricket! She doesn't have wings since she's a beast type fae but that doesn't slow her down. (I'm taking some liberties here, the point is she's not based on an insect.)

Cricket: *chuckles* "It's just so hard to stay away from you, handsome~"

Nightmare: *unamused* "Get out."

Cricket: *pathetically* "No... Please, let me love you!"

Facts and close ups under the cut!

She has multiple names but Cricket is her favourite name that she only reveals to very close friends. She considers this her true name.

She was actually a human once, but since she tended to be a kleptomaniac, it got her in a world of trouble. After getting caught stealing from, unbeknownst to her, a powerful fae, she became indebted to them and was cursed. Her unique stripes serve as a warning to others that she is a known thief and isn't to be trusted.

She hasn't learned her lesson, although she has gotten better at not getting caught. Occasionally, she'll make deals with unsuspecting mortals or new fae but most of the time she just takes what she wants.

She prefers small items, especially shiny ones, that won't be easily missed. Her pockets are often full of ill gotten trinkets and she's hesitant to part with any of them.

She also has a bad habit of breaking and entering. She's pretty much a nomad since most people don't like her and tend to get upset if their stuff goes missing. As such, she often sneaks into houses and other buildings to spend the night. Sometimes she gets away with it but a lot of times the resident has to chase her off.

She's very charismatic and will turn the charm up to 100 if she thinks she can get something from you or is in a bad spot. Most older fae can see this for what it is though - a distraction.

She's also a not-so-secret admirer of Nightmare, The King of Winter, although he doesn't return her affections, much to her dismay. Most of her time is spent simping plotting a way to get his attention, although no matter how hard she tries, his eye socket is always on someone else.

Every now and then she manages to find a way into his castle, usually by fooling newer fae in his court or by other means. She's technically banned and is thrown out whenever she's caught. She's also banned from the Summer court for obvious reasons.

fabtube might not be the ii relationship im most invested in (except episode 14 the writing for them in that episode was PHENOMENAL) but when fan was rambling about his theories and then realized he was about to be deleted. and just 100% immediately accepts his fate. he looks so calm and sad and at peace and he says "....see you test tube" knowing that the only thing he wanted in the afterlife was test tube. his best friend since day one the person who understands him more than anyone else in the world and that relationship was something they actively chose. that shit was SO SAD genuinely one of the saddest scenes in the entire finale for me. Why'd he say it like that

ACKKKK yes yes yes to them being honest with each other! Finally, he tells her about how hurt he’s been and he’s crying all the time, and that she promised him no tears. Then holding her accountable because now they’re married so even if she’s lying about not making him cry, what is she doing now?

Also Kim Jiwon and Kim Soo Hyun are so equipped and talented in executing this emotional scene. I can see and feel the love, emotions from their eyes.
