There was a theory going around that the islands Sonic's friends were stuck on had specific titans and the ancients that piloted each of these titans reflected the personality of him and his friends.

The one who sounded feminine, they were full of fire and determination and passion and the one who reached forth and leapt to avenge their friend with a battle cry, the pilot of Giganto, the Titan of Kronos Island: Amy

The silent warrior with a deeper voice, the one who respected the hero and voiced about their courage, the pilot of Wyvern, the Titan of Ares Island: Knuckles

The pilot who sounded younger than the others just from the voice, the one who had fallen silent for the longest at their friend's sacrifice, the one who rose up with determination and rallied the others, the one who reminded them of their friends plan and drove them to follow it through, the one who was willing to see it to end what the other started, the pilot of Knight, the Titan of Chaos Island: Tails

And the one who absorbed the corruption, the one who sacrificed, the hero who gave away their life to protect their world and companions, the pilot of the final titan: Sonic

That was one interesting and honestly really good theory. And while I was listening to the songs with that theory in mind I realized something. Each of the boss battle songs reflects them just like the ancients which piloted the titans did!

I mean, listen to the lyrics of each island's boss and it parallels the character stuck on that island!

Amy was stuck on Kronos Island and the boss battle song during the fight against Giganto is Undefeatable. The lyrics kinda reflect her character arc!

And Knuckles was on Ares Island and the boss battle song of Wyvern is Break Through It All. The lyrics are literally like they are written for Knuckles' character.

And Find Your Flame?! The boss theme of Knight, the Titan of the island Tails was stuck on-! It literally screams Tails character arc and growth in Frontiers. The chorus fit him so well! And all the other verses too.

And the theme of the final titan, the same titan whose pilot trapped the corruption inside Supreme and sacrificed themself self, is I'm Here and that's Sonic in the whole game! The song perfectly reflects Sonic's thought process about helping his friends and the journey and his tendency to encourage and stand by them.

Bonus: The theme of the final boss, the purple colored moon sized celestial being termed "The End" sounded soft and melancholic but still pretty awesome and it gives off Sage feels.

Fuck me for listening to the Sonic Frontiers OST without getting any work done (I finished it eventually, at midnight). The songs are just too good, they're straight up FIRE 🔥🔥🔥

Rhea island theme song...so beautiful. There’s this tension, a sense of the world falling on your shoulders while you’re losing yourself, you’re so close to the end but you don’t know how much you can hold on. You have to keep going even if it hurts and that’s what you do. there’s something around you, an eerie yet uncontrollable power that changes how you view your surroundings. for the first time, it feels like you don’t know if you’ll pull this through. but you have to fight and then you try to remember why you’re still fighting. when everything around you seems so serene for once but your head has never felt more confused, blurry thoughts hindering your vision, you question why you keep up the fight. as you move forward, you remember you have to fight for your friends but even when you remember that, even when you do everything you’re supposed to, your shoulders still feel heavy and the air howls menacingly and mockingly and you’re now unsure whether you’ve done the right thing or if you’re still a hero.

Unregistered CyberSpace 4-5: Arrow of 2009

The winner of Season 3's King for a Day Tournament, Unregistered Hypercam 2, is a character I've brought up a good few times before. Its clear to see why he won that very first tournament - his source list included such a wide variety of songs, encapsulating a broad yet specific aesthetic of the early days of YouTube. In YACKER TOILET, I covered one of these songs - Paralyzer by Finger Eleven, perhaps the most iconic and memeable song in all of Hypercam's sourcelist. Yet equally as beloved, and arguably even more recognizable, is the source track for today's rip - Dreamscape from the 009 Sound System project. Inofficially dubbed the "national anthem of YouTube" in 2011, Dreamscape feels almost completely inseparable from Paralyzer in terms of status, yet feel both immensely similar and immensely different from one another.

How fitting then, that Unregistered CyberSpace 4-5: Arrow of 2009, just like YACKER TOILET, is also an arrangement of a song from a Sonic games - games known for being sharply distinct from one another whilst having an undeniable energy and style in common. (Funny enough, Jiko Music was also behind the creation of both rips!) Cyber Space 4-5: Arrow of Time, like many other Cyber Space stage themes in Sonic Frontiers, features a really pleasing dream-like synth sound, a sort of natural culmination of Tomoya Ohtani's gradual transition into EDM and electronic music in general over the last seven years. Dreamscape slots so naturally into the source track here that it feels almost uncanny to listen to the original unedited version - the track feels almost handmade to be a tribute to the aptly titled dreamy energy of Dreamscape.

Part of what makes Unregistered CyberSpace 4-5: Arrow of 2009 interesting beyond what I've just described is that it doesn't just feel like Jiko Music building on YACKER TOILET - it also builds on Set in Voiceless Motion, another one of his Sonic EDM-rips from Season 5, through the shared inclusion of voiceless. The lead melody's inclusion in the chorus close to the one-minute mark in this rip feels perfectly befitting and really rounds out the package - in celebrating olden-times YouTube, it also celebrates everything that SiIvaGunner channel is built upon.

All that said - its just a damn good rip by a stupidly talented ripper!

So I couldn’t resist after hearing them, I tried combining the two tracks and this is what I got and while its loud, man, I love the effect of it personally, sounds like there’s a crowd or something singing it with them at points.

No this isn’t whole song, mostly the chorus.
