ever wanted to use the alphabet from sonic prime but were sad about having to do it all by hand, or the fact that there were still some characters that were undefined?

i have taken the liberty of jotting down the characters that we DO know of and made up the missing ones, alongside some punctuation!

if the missing characters are ever discovered, i'll make a new version of this font. this is just a "current" version for funsies.

the spacing is a tad wonky due to the size of the characters, but all you really have to do if you're using it for art stuff is use a couple extra spaces.

feel free to use it in whatever you'd like! credit is appreciated if you do end up using the font ^^

Plaza was indeed used in Sega Mega Drive/Genesis game Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (1994):

The Sonic series had been using Art Deco fonts from the very beginning. The original Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) used Broadway (1927):

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992) used Roco (1973), which was based on a 1935 font called Grock:

I suppose the Sonic series could be considered part of a 90s Art Deco revival, alongside Batman: The Animated Series, which also used Plaza.
