Hi hello yes I also thought I was done but my brain said no.

So, who was going to tell me what an absolute menace Vessel was on stage back in 2018? Why did nobody show me what a chaotic goblinman he used to be?
Vessel, you cannot do this to me. The white waistband. The water bottle drop. The strangulation of OG IV. The SPIT. ONTO. OG IV. … Sir. What is happening to you on stage? What demons are you fighting? (Let me help, I want to meet them)

On This Day: August 18 2023
This day in August of 2023, II, our illustrious drummer of Sleep Token, posted a drum cam of Nazareth from a ritual earlier in Vienna.

Something I’ve been thinking about a lot is that a lot of Sleep Token songs are about Vessel, and like I have a list, but I want to drop the concept that I have a thought that sometimes Vessel is the ‘she’ in the songs.

my discovery playlists
i call them that because theyre the playlists i use when i want to listen to more of an artist and remember the songs i like from them. eventually it does become an “all songs” playlist
HU is the only complete one, maybe i excluded a song or two (NE2 and DM) but other than that its the whole discography
Ghost and Sleep Token are still being developed as i listen to them

as terrifying of a lyric “make her eat the tape in the bathroom mirror” is, i think “manifest pain at the core of pleasure” is so slept on despite how haunting it is

(source) YouTube video + more goblinman Vessel below the cut 😉
youtube
This is the only video I could find of this concert, and it is flashy as hell. I almost decided not to add it to the post until I watched around the 0:32 mark when Vessel grabbed his water bottle 😏🖤

On This Day: June 19 2017
Seven years ago this day, Sleep Token released Nazareth as the second single of their EP "Two". The EP was released in full July 21 2017.

At this time, the only promotional evidence curated is this post on the site formerly known as Twitter, directing to a now deleted Basick Records post.

Nazareth cover image from the single release on Spotify when using this link.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The title on this image appears to be "Nazareth" using the written Arabic language but with each letter reversed. While researching this single, the image above also appears reversed on Discogs and on Spotify. The proper way to write out Nazareth in Arabic is "الناصرة".
Per this source, this song was produced by George Lever. The writers credited are Vessel I and Vessel II. Vessel is shown as the performer for vocals, guitar, bass, and piano. Drums show II is listed.
Any additional information, or resources, from that time frame regarding this single release is welcome. As is any correction of the aforementioned.
