Among Us/ Lethal Company AU
No idea at all what I’m doing….
Human Crew
Peregrine (Pembrook)- Former expedition leader now captain after the old captain was discovered to be an imposter. He… he really does want to do this. Way too stressful. He would much rather be in the field with his family.
Lyra- Medical. Though, if she’s on an expiation she’s almost always the one wielding a stop sign. Or shotgun… She's not picky.
Juno- Expedition leader and proud of it. Always makes a point to be first in and last out. This worries Pembrook so much. Very good realizing when there is a mimic. Terrified of the coil heads but very good at looping them.
Vespers- Expedition Coms. He’ll always be willing to go and actually scavenge for things to sell. But he’s also the quickest with disabling turrets and land mines. He’s always the best at guiding people around potential threats.
Atlas- Way too young to go out on any expeditions. But he is allowed to help unload cargo to sell back to The Company (he’s not allowed near the window).
Vega- Ships cook. Somehow never loses her walkie-talkie when on expeditions. Can always convince the hoarding bugs to trade with her. The best at sneaking past blind dogs.
Joesph- Expedition member. He’s pretty strong and can carry a little more than the others. He is the best at memorizing the layout of any buildings they enter. Has been helping Nigel with his research.
Nigel- Retired expedition leader but stays on the ship with his family. Has been documenting the various creatures of all the planets they’ve visited.
Claire- Retired medic but helps a lot with the cooking. She’s seen the ghost girl twice and somehow survived. Refuses to talk about it.
Non-human
Magpie (Maeve)- Was human until a parasitic imposter got ahold of her. Already displayed slight telekinetic powers but this was amplified. Normally works in the bio-lab and hates going on expeditions due to her nyctophobia. Ironically, the Bracken is afraid of her.
Cecelia- An imposter that snuck into the crew with their sibling Rigsby. Loves going on expeditions and has a very strong intuition. Best at last minute trips to grab things left at the doors. Only person that can outrun the tree giants.
Rigsby- An imposter that snuck into the crew with their sister Cecelia. Too young to go on expeditions and spends a lot of time playing with Atlas as a result. Cheats during hide and seek by using the vents. Loves learning about the different insect monsters.
Jack- An imposter and expedition leader with another crew that runs into the team from time to time. Maeve’s ex from when she was still human (it’s complicated). He wants to get back together, she wants him to jump off a cliff. (… it’s really complicated).
Casper- He deserves to be alive in at least one AU! An imposter that Pembrook unintentionally saved when they were much younger. They became friends and Casper decided to stick around and keep an eye out for the Blackwood family and will put himself at risk to protect his honorary niece and nephew. He’s constantly trying- and failing- to keep the others from causing trouble. Especially Maeve.
Unknown
Maggie- Found after her family’s crew had been overrun by two imposters. Is she one? No idea. She is often the first accused by anyone outside her adopted family. Maeve had taken her in before infection and that care for the redhead managed to linger (plus Maeve’s curiosity to learn just what Maggie is). Maggie has fantastic intuition and is the best at avoiding even the most dangerous of monsters. She will often irritate Jeb on purpose just to doge the tentacles for fun. All she really wants in life is a jet pack.

i feel like it's absolutely crucial in the social justice world to take "he a little confused but he got the spirit" and similar sentiments/situations as a Win. intent is so much more important than saying it right the first time! if someone is approaching with scuffed language and incorrect terms but they're visibly being as polite as they know how, that person is a friend and should be treated better than what their words might invite in someone else's mouth.

Ive said this before but swear the biggest skill to learn as an adult is how to resist high-pressure sales tactics. You do NOT have to answer questions with anything other than "Sorry I'm not interested." No matter how nice they are or no matter how many follow up questions they ask or even how agitated they get when you stand your ground. Just keep saying I'm not interested. Don't answer their questions. Don't give them an opening to try to push back on your reasons. Be a fucking brick wall of I'm not interested.
