OKAY now that the horny questions finally woke me up, tbh i was referring to the different kind of love as a true first love if that makes sense? i feel like the JOB of a "first love" is to mature you and prepare you for the world, like youre destined to leave them because alot of first loves dont work out (AND THATS NOT WHAT I PLAN FOR MC, MC AND THE BROTHERS + THE NOW DATEABLES ALL WORK OUT) but i agree on the different kind of love, i shouldve phrased it better. but i still strongly believe although theyve had their first loves already (except satan ig) that MC is their TRUE love yk? like the love that lasts and gives you peace of mind knowing they accept you for you. and i HOPE we get to choose at least four brothers, but i cant imagine how the rest of the brothers would feel when we wouldnt choose them, ¨they already chose four, why couldnt they have picked me too...was I not enough? will I ever be¨

I read this super sad angst fic where asmo was preparing you like to get ready for a date and he just turns to you and is like ¨was I not enough?¨ out of nowhere, and MC is confused at what he meant and hes just like ¨Nevermind dear, you look perfect, any guy would be lucky to see you like this¨ and it got me so sad thinking about how the other brothers who werent picked would react to MC loving their chosen brother in front of everyone else, theyd be so heartbroken. yeah sorry i didnt get the difference between moving on and getting over it. In contrast to the action were the scenes that made us feel some emotions. 25.3% were most emotionally affected at Mikasa’s sorrow watching Eren doing something cruel to another human being. 26.8% felt the most for Armin in this episode as he looks down on the horrific aftermath of his explosion. 12.6% empathized most with Reiner as he made himself wake up despite still wishing to die. The remaining scenes that got people choked up, in order: Finally getting to see Hange again, Porco’s pleas as he’s forced to kill Lara Tybur, Gabi and Falco yelling out for Reiner to save Porco and help them, and Falco pleading with Jean not to kill Pieck.

Eren as a character has seemed a bit colder since the time skip, so we were curious about how people felt watching him assault Liberio and take out Lara Tybur the way he did. Reception of Eren’s actions is definitely a mixed bag. 27.8% are enjoying this new side of Eren, feeling he’s the “MF’ing GOAT.” 22.2% aren’t really sure how to feel about Eren’s actions yet and may need more context before making a final judgement. 20% just feel sad seeing Eren doing something so horrific, and 16.7% have lost any positive opinion they may have had about Eren at all.

I mean he always seemed to have a steak of evil in him since before. Kid killed people remorselessly, even if it was to save a girl. It was surprising from an audience point of view, but with his character, maybe it shouldn't really be too surprsing.

Reiner’s so handsome :3 and so is his Titan form this episode. An interesting development! What could it mean? Sympathy and Empathy for everyone! When it comes to solely empathizing with one half of the cast, the results are rather close! 22.2% find themselves solely (or rather largely) attached to the old Survey Corps, in contrast to 21.1% who happen to solely (or rather largely) be attached to the new-ish Warriors. On the other hand, when mentioning the more “differing” options, 48.9% of responses noted that they find themselves more attached to the SC, while still caring for the Warriors, in contrast to the 7.8% stating the opposite.

I've grown to love the Warriors throughout this season but watching them get wrecked one by one like that was simply incredible...especially that dumbass Porco, he took the fattest L ever Idk how its possible but every episode gets better than the last one. Bless MAPPA!

ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS ON THE EPISODE?

It was Fire, finally Levi could take his revenge from zeke

Easily one of the best in the series. Mappa really found their feet with the CGI and it was clearly a mammoth task due to all the different titans and ODM scenes. Everything was so much cleaner this episode. I have not yet been majorly spoiled, so seeing Eren use Porco to kill Lara was literally so energizing, reminded of how I felt when I first watched SnK. Did everything go a little too smoothly for the Survey Corp? Yes. I want to believe our friends will win, but i have my doubts. Im excited to see how this battle will play out because I have know idea where it's heading.

Usually, when he was left alone in his office, Levi was either buried in an absurd amount of paperwork, courtesy of Erwin, or trying to sleep a little.

Today, however, he was simply sitting at his desk and staring mindlessly at the table. He didn't even feel the urge to get himself some tea, too lost in his internal monologue.

He was back in the past. The Godamn shitty past.

Eren hadn't turned into a douche bag yet. Erwin was still alive. 95% of the people that had been dead to him a day ago, were alive and well. And if he played his cards right, he could ensure that at least some of them would stay alive.

He could and would change shit.

But.. How?

Levi was a practical man. He knew his own limits when it came to plotting and planning. There was no way for him to change things in a way that wouldn't result in the rumbling. Not on his own. Only the likes of Hange or Armin or-

Erwin continued to work, not even bothering to look at Levi as he filled out forms for the upcoming expedition. It was late at night and the blonde commander was sitting at his desk, working away as everyone else slept. Others would think he was simply sleep deprived and that's why he was hardly paying attention to his trusted captain.

Levi knew better. Erwin was always sharp, he just preferred luring people into a false sense of security that he wasn't.

He leaned back against the couch, crossing his legs casually and took a sip of his tea.

'I've been thinking about your plan.'

'And?'

'I think we made a mistake.'

At this, Erwin calmly settled his pen down and finally deigned to look at him.

'Explain.'

Okay, time to put his plan into motion.

'We're sure that The Armoured and Colossal are like Eren right? Humans that's can transform into titans?'

'Yes.'

'The Colossal Titan and Armoured Titan appeared five years ago. Which means whoever is inside those shitty titans, they have at least five years of experience over Eren. Taking him and my squad into a battle field where they aren't prepared for enemies like that-'

Levi could only feel relief as Erwin's expression lit up with understanding.

'It means that I judged wrong. Of course, not all titan shifters would be like Eren. They've had more time and access to their power. More time to harness it in battle. Eren has hardly had 2 months and still can't transform at will. This makes it difficult to use him as bait to lure out the traitor, because simply put, Eren won't be able to protect himself. In which case, we would risk losing our greatest weapon and... '

Watching him open the drawer and pull out the mission plan, Levi realised that he had forgotten how smart Erwin was. He could practically see the gears turning in his mind. The brilliant bastard was changing the plan as they spoke.

'Exactly. And if the Armoured Titan comes after us, we're fucked. We don't have anyone except Eren who even stands a chance against it. And that's not saying much.'

Levi liked to believe it was sheer dumb luck that Annie had come after them, rather then Reiner. They could at least still fight and capture Annie with their limited resources--Reiner would have gotten away with Eren easily.

'Do you think your squad can take on a titan shifter?'

Levi blinked and snapped out of his thoughts.

'Frankly, no. If the shifter is Eren, he'll get his ass kicked. If it's the Armoured fucker, they're dead.'

His old squad just wasn't able to take on an opponent like that. They were all prepared to take on the worst, however, Levi acknowledged their lack of creativity and improvisation. They would simply think between to kill or to not kill, which was likely what would had gotten them killed in the first place. If they had let Eren transform first and tire out the female titan before they fought her, they would have likely lived. His next squad had proven better then them because of this--for they often found ways to fight and get out of it alive against the shittiest of odds.

'Even if we tell them about the traitor?'

'If we tell them, they'll judge accordingly and try to keep Eren safe no matter what.'

If he instructed his squad of the situation beforehand, he was confident they'd get out of it alive. They weren't the best at spur of the moment thinking, but they were still extremely talented. As long as they stuck to his orders and were informed enough, they'd manage well.

'Do you think we should tell Eren?'

Inwardly, Levi winced at the mention of Eren, remembering that he still hadn't figured out what to do about him.

'Yes. The brat needs to be prepared too. And.. I think we need to give him reasons to trust us.'

Erwin raised an eyebrow at him, silently probing for more. Levi obliged.

'The brat's a Survey Corps fanboy. The hero worship will wear off soon enough. I'd rather our greatest weapon actually trust us because we give him reasons to. Don't want to risk him acting out.'

'Fair. This is rather odd coming from you, I-'

'Don't take this the wrong way. I don't trust him. But he should trust us. We're gambling lives for his shitty ass.'

'Ah. I see.'

'How much are you going to change the plan?'

'I haven't decided yet. I'll tell you by tommorow. I need to think on it a little more.'

'I just want you to let me tell my squad about the traitor. The rest is your shit to figure out.'

'... Well, you do have valid reasons so-'

Levi smirked,

'So act in whatever manner you see fit.'

Levi nodded before making to leave. His job here was done. Just as he was about to shut the door and leave Erwin to strategise, he paused.

'You might regret letting me do what I want.'

Erwin smiled at him.

'No regrets.'

Levi almost smiled back, but instead opted to shut the door.

Early in the morning, Levi walked outside in the courtyard. The sun had risen a while ago and the air had been crisp. It wouldn't be long till his comrades would be awake, so he figured a stroll to clear his mind wouldn't hurt.

Had he made the right decision? Levi honestly didn't know.

Initially, he had planned to just tell Erwin everything. About Marley, Eren letting his inner lunatic out full blast, the truth about the King. But, he had stopped himself.

Maybe it was because he had grown used to not having Erwin around, that he was making decisions on his own? Or maybe it was just that he was tired of following orders that only got people killed?

He hadn't wanted to not tell his squad about the traitor, yet he had obeyed orders and stayed quiet. Resulting in their deaths.

He hadn't wanted to go along with the battle in Stohess District, but he had obeyed orders and watched countless civillians die.

He hadn't wanted to take part in any plan that involved keeping Zeke alive but he had fucking obeyed orders and done it. The end result had been a mass genocide that none of them had been able to stop.

He knew Erwin would lead them well if he knew everything, but for now, he would prefer changing things using his own authority. It was selfish of him, but he had learned his lesson.

Ever since that dark day in that field, when he had made his decision to serve in the Survey Corps, he had always relied on Erwin. Or rather, his orders. It had been easier to let him make all the decisions and just go with it. The objective was always completed, so the cost had always been brushed aside.

Except following orders like that had only worked for singular, short term goals. When it came to the end goal, it had only led to their destruction.

Levi was scared that if he followed Erwin half blind like before, history would only repeat itself. But what if he made it worse? Erwin had always been more visionary. The brains of the operation. Levi was used to being the brawns that just did as told.

He kicked a pebble, sighing. Taking a deep breathe he closed his eyes--only for someone to bump into his chest and fall to the ground.

Levi didn't so much as step back, hardly phased. He frowned at the person rubbing their head as they half lay on the floor.

It was a woman, with startling, long red hair. A basket lay next to her, full of flowers. Some had fallen out of the basket.

'Tch. Watch where you're going.'

The woman looked up at him, vivid pretty green eyes blinked up at him in confusion. Levi raised an eyebrow, and then realisation dawned upon her. She immediately scampered upto her feet

'I'm so, so sorry--I was - I mean- I didn't mean to bump into you Captain. It was an honest mistake.'

'Whatever.'

He rolled is eyes and gestured to the flowers on the ground.

'Well? Clean up this mess'

'Oh yes, of course.'

She began hurriedly picking up the flowers, before nervously apologising to him once more and running off. Just as he was about to walk back to his office, he noticed a flower she hadn't picked up.

Holding it in his hand, he couldn't help feeling a sense of peace. It was a white poppy. Clutching it tightly, he began to climb the stairs to his office, suddenly feeling more sure of himself then ever.

Hange had told him, in one of her I- learned-something-new-so-your-eardrums-have-to-suffer sessions, about what a poppy symbolised. Peace. The end and remembrance of a war. It had been one of the last happy conversations he had with her, right before Eren had unleashed hell on them.

Peace was all Levi had ever wanted--not just for himself, but for everyone living in the walls. And he would try his damned hardest to achieve that.

Yet again, he would believe in his own decisions. This time, he would trust himself even more. Feeding Erwin little information that made sense would be easy enough, the man was intelligent enough to draw conclusions that would benefit them.

And, there were somethings he would prefer that still happened. To keep things predictable for him. Like the 57th Expedition. He would capture Annie this time around and not let the Stohess Battle occur. The wall titans and humanity existing outside the walls could be proven when Historia was made queen and they reached the basement-

Wait, shit.

Historia was still part of the Survey Corps.

Levi stared blankly at the flower on his desk, debating whether if breaking the queen's legs before she was even queen would be considered treason. Because there was no way in hell he was letting her near any danger.

Historia was a game changer. A hope for the war. Levi knew some people would still die, but Historia was one who couldn't. Eren could be replaced, Erwin could be replaced, Levi himself could be replaced, but not Historia. He would have to get her out of the fold safely-

*knock knock*

'Come in' Levi answered without a second thought. Petra entered holding a tray full of biscuits and a steaming cup of tea.

'Captain, here's your morning tea. The staff had some biscuits today too.'

'Ah. Thank you. Just put it here.'

Petra settled the tea cup and plate on his desk, catching sight of the poppy.

'That's a pretty flower captain. Where did you pick it from?'

'I didn't. I got it from some girl.'

If Levi hadn't been busy checking the temperature of his tea, he would have noticed the slightly crushed expression on his comrades face. By the time he looked at her again, the girl was saluting him.

'Petra--go tell the others we'll be doing transformation experiments with Eren today. Everyone has an hour to get ready. If anyone's late, they'll have a special sparring session with me.'

'Yes Sir!'

Watching her leave, he resolved himself. He was doing what he could for them. He would try to get them closer to peace. He found himself looking at the white poppy again, the barest hints of a smile on his face.

He might just have to thank that girl for bumping into him.

.. And look into the law books regarding what injuries to historia wouldn't count as treason. There had to be at least one right?

A/N: hope y'all liked this! Sorry I've been MIA. My dad got pnemoneia and ended up admit in the hospital. Thankfully we caught it in time, so he's recovered well now. But it's been a crazy couple of days.

Soo, I debated Levi being absolutely honest with Erwin and telling him the entire truth but I realized it wouldn't work. The story is going to be set in more changing the timeline from chapter 4 I think, when the expedition starts. I'm actually writing this as I go sooo, *laughs nervously. Also poor historia. Will Levi actually break her legs? Till next time!

Fleeting Touches

( Asmodeus x GN!MC)

Synopsis: Do you know what fleeting means? It means you should apreciate every moment while you can. Even if you get lost in illusions for it.

TW: Slight angst

The streets were full this time of the year, even with the cold weather. It was a race for most humans to get that last minute gift for that special someone.

Their children, parents, grandparents or significant others. For some reason it's tradition to get that one person a last minute present.

And that's always a disaster...

" Calvin Klein One... with bergamot, cardamom, pineapple and jasmin. Tropical? Or maybe Dolce & Gabanna Velvet Exotic Leather. Traditional and italian... also at good prices, I need to ask if they are antiallergenic! "

I spend 15 minutes on the line but get both perfumes and walk outside onto the sunny street. It's not as busy as the mall and I really should get home before it gets to close to one pm.

Today, faces are a blur to me.

" Thanks for the tip Asmo, I was sick of the strong scents of women perfumes and the always down to earth male ones~"

I cheerfully speak to myself while touching the 'tattoo' above my left breast.

It's a one-way communication system. I'm not even sure Asmodeus hears what I tell him but I sure do hear his thoughts.

" Ohhh, bootie alert at 12! No, wait! Delicious curves at 4- oohh...that's a mix at 9 o'clock~!"

I see a man, woman, I think the last one is in mid transitioning but I'm not sure.

" He'll be a beautiful man, I'm 95% sure!"

" Maybe it's a 'they'... not that you can hear me."

Though I agree, they look...handsome. With a nice physique, curly shoulder lenght hair, smooth skin as if rivalling Asmos' ... and who can resist a dark biker leather jacket?!

No, stop. Don't let the mark influence you from your mission MC!

Setting the christmas gifts.

I start running in the direction of the bus station when I collide with a tall lady, her black shades falling to the ground from her beautiful light pink sweater.

My head hurts. It felt like hitting a brick wall...or Beel.

Are my only thoughts as I scramble to pick her glasses and my shopping bag. Good thing it was well packed.

"Oh my~ I'm so sorry, I didn't notice such a beautiful face in this crowd. I was retoutching my eyeliner, huhu! Let me help~"

The lady crouches down next to me. I notice from the corner of my eyes that she is also wearing a black turtle neck... and has peach coloured hair...

" Asmo?!"

Darkness. A cold hand covers my eyes while the other takes the shades from mine and exchanges them with my bags...it seems. He whispers is my ear.

" Now, now. Don't ruin the surprise! I'm just a beautiful 'lady'. Hahaha."

And with that he dissapears. Everything seems to dissapear, as soon it gets dark and I'm sitted in my couch, replaying today's event.

It felt so real... I called him a lady.

Well... I don't think Asmodeus minds.

I walk around the tree, putting down colorfully wrapped gifts. That I went purposely to markets and malls to have wrapped!

Diavolo better play Santa and give me some grimm if I ever get an invite to Devildom, I blew most of my allowances with these!

On the blue corner I have vynil disks and office supplies. Getting stuff for Lucifer is hard.

The yellow corner... is a mess of acessories like shades and wristwatches and some jackets. Mammon needs a new one.

The orange corner was the cheapest but most difficult to prepare. I wrapped most of my otaku related rarities, in Devildom at least, and put them in a pile. Levi better apreciate my figurines!

The green pile was also simple. It's actually small with my old literature books. All from great authors and all trying to escape religious judgement so Satan might find that amusing.

I don't have a red corner, just baked goods on the table and two glasses of milk in case Santa visits.

I put purple pillows, warm robes, matresses and scarves around the tree. Belphie won't lose comfort soon.

And now finishing the pink corner.

There's the perfumes, some cosmetics I really don't get but my 'chest instinct' said to go ahead and...

" I hope he likes this fluffy bunny backpack!"

I kinda wanted the bunny for myself... but I can't.

The day went on so fast... why am I even doing this? Might as well call Solomon and offer him these so he can perform his rituals. I'll just wake up tomorrow to a full room of wasted money and a mountain of calories. An empty heart.

I caress the bunny when i hear rustling on my door. Something is playing with my wreath? I pick a knife from the dinning table.

" W-who's there?! Show yourself fiend!"

" Aww, that hurts to hear MC-chan..."

From the darkness into the light walks the same person I crashed into this morning.

" You better drop that knife before someone gets hurt..."

" How...Asmo, how are you here?! Why?!!"

Tears come to my eyes. It's been a while. A long while since I've seen any of them. Since I've had slumber parties with Asmodeus, self care sessions...

He shakes his head cleaning the few teardrops away with the back of his index finger and walks to the tree, messing with the gifts.

" Tears don't suit you well. Oh, you even got something for Barbatos... I'm slightly jealous, I thought you only thought about me~"

He starts opening his gifts.

" Wait! It's not even Christmas Eve. We need to wait until midnight at least..."

As I try to explain, his taller stature hovers over me, playing with my hair and putting a mistletoe, secure in it's knots. Wait... how is he so tall? The height difference is too abnormal.

" I'm afraid the concept of time doesn't apply in dreams, MC."

" H-huh?! Wha... the day... went on really fast. So you..."

I look down slightly dissapointed. The floor starts cracking and falling. Darkness and constelations starting to form under my feet.

" Afraid not. Christmas is not really part of our traditions, haha. Even if we had a great celebration that one time Diavolo proposed we did it with the exchange students.

I like the angel."

He points to the tree top.

" Oh, that... I was thinking of Beel and Belphie when I made the decision. It's my oldest decoration. I was thinking on putting a star this year but... I got a literal gut feeling to keep the angel."

I smirk at Asmodeus as he puts an arm around my shoulders, leaning me a little closer to him. We both apreciate the flashing lights from the tree. Even if it was fake. The rest of the room crumbles away and Asmo let's go of me to pick his gifts and stuffing them inside his new backpack.

" I know he was thinking of the only person that shines as bright as us two together.

Hmm, but you haven't been taking good care of yourself, MC-chan! Remember to follow the morning routine I gave you so your skin is almost as perfect as mine!"

" I haven't been feeling like...doing much I guess. I had a lot of work this year."

" Humans are always full of work. I mean me too.

Since RAD is closed for the 'holidays', we are back to our other jobs. Things get dirty real fast, so many pests! Maybe we can actually come visit during New Year's."

After apreciating the representation if Lilith, he turns to berate me, before picking a bottle of perfurm and examining it, followed by spraying some on while making a spin as he explains his bodyguard/demon threat exterminator job.

He must have loved it because he transforms, with a smile on his face and his horns move like pincers.

" I always found your demon form the funniest."

" ...Dear, I'm fabulous."

" Hahahahaha! Ok, but if this isn't a Diavolo, Barbatos or Lucifer' scheme... is it Belphegor's? You mentioned dreams, and it explains the constelations."

I look around, darkness being drilled by the light of many tiny stars.

" I think I see taurus... and of course he had ro include pisces. Mammon is supposed to be the greedy one, this is OUR moment!"

He huffes and crosses his arms. I chuckle and pat his back.

" So, I'm asleep at the same time as Belphie."

" It's night time in both worlds. You could say I'm an intruder. I was taking my immersive nightly bath as I prepared to get into your dreams~ I hope I didn't actually fall asleep, my poor skin!"

" How did you convince him?"

I wonder as he touches his arm and the parts of revealed skin as if to feel if something was wrong with his real body.

" Oh, well...he actually wanted to see you to! I also promised to take more cute pictures of Lucifer for him. But I don't think he admires his beauty the same way I do-"

The world trembles. Belphie must be waking up. And angry...

" Oh, dear! I must have upset him. This illusion will end soon and you'll wake up in your bed as if nothing happened. I hope you don't forget me."

Asmo walks closer and caresses my face. Kissing my forehead.

It's warm. Fleeting but I can feel his gestures. Even in a dream.

I slap his hand when I feel it sliding down my back a little too far.

" Ouch! My nail...ok, ok. I'm sorry! Won't happen again~"

He apologises when making contact with my burning stare and proceeds to act innocently after.

" It better not. I... think it will be difficult to forget you. Specially now. Make sure the others know-! Ahh!!!"

Another quake and I "conveniently" fall in his arms. I'm able to see his pixie sized wings batting in excitement.

" This is a cliché."

I mumble as Asmo wraps his arms around me.

" I need to go. I'm sure we'll see each other soon. You know I'll always be here. Literally. And I do hear you, you know?"

He pokes his mark, above my heart and pouts.

" ...I know... see you soon Asmo."

I pick his hand and kiss it.

Then I wake up. It's still the middle of the night. My room is cold.

There on my window sill are two roses. One peach and one dark pink.

OC Headcanons

A/N: Here's some headcanons for my ocs (Marigold, Simon, and Levi) that no one asked for! It's just general headcanons, no x reader (yet). Plus it's my blog and I get to choose what I post 😎

Marigold

Right off the bat, a dumbass

She's kind of book smart but at times she lacks common sense

Which is almost all the time

She's also a very curious and reckless person

Like if something were to catch her attention, she will follow it to the ends of the Earth until she's satisfied

That means running into many problems that could've been easily avoided. Oh well.

B U F F girl

Bruh she got a whole ass six pack and she's not afraid to show them off

She will show off her muscles and flex at any opportunity she gets

For a 5'6" lady, she's one stronk girl

Is the literal definition of a shit eating grin

Can and will make fun of anyone

She's a bully, especially to her brothers Simon and Levi

For as long as she lived, she would always randomly pull her brothers into a wrestling match

Would win 95% of the time

But if anyone else were to mess with them, she will not hesitate to break a few bones

"THE ONLY PERSON WHO GETS TO HARASS MY FAMILY IS ME"

Simon is 5 years younger than her and Levi is 7 years younger

Always calls them her baby bros

Did I forget to mention that she's a bit self-absorbed?

In a nutshell she's just your stereotypical high school jock that has good grades

When it comes down to more serious matters though, she will put her jokes aside and will be the best listener you've ever met

She becomes more stoic and strict, especially if the serious matter involves her brothers

Even though she wouldn't willingly admit it, her family is everything to her

They may be half blood but that doesn't matter to her AT ALL

When serious, she immensely radiates concerned mother energy

You'd think that after tormenting showing tough love to her younger brothers would mean that she wouldn't have a soft spot for children, right?

WRONG. VERY WRONG.

Will go VERY soft and will drop her tough and rough demeanor when there's little children around

C'mon, she basically raised her brothers

Once their mother died when she was 15, she stepped up and became both their big sister and mother figure

When their mother died, Simon was 10 years old and Levi was 8

So of course her heart grew a soft spot for children

Also a pansexual bby

Simon

The most flexible out of the siblings

Like if he were to be paired up with Marigold, they will wreak havoc and chaos together

Be very afraid when you see these two together

However, if he were to be paired up with Levi, they become absolute nerds and the most logical and rational duo there is to exist

Simon is an absolute gentleman

Will hold doors open for people, help someone carry their things, make snacks for others, etc

A literal fucking prince

Marigold always tells him that his kindness is admirable but should harden up and be more stoic since the world isn't a kind place

That doesn't stop him though

Many people mistake him as a doormat and try to use him

Oh but little did they know that they got a whole ass storm coming

He will not hesitate to bring in his sister if anyone were to wrong or the people he cares about

Will only hold his sister back if she's on the verge of severely injuring people

When there's a serious problem going on, the first thing he does is list out possible solutions and cross out any that wouldn't work

He's a quick thinker and makes great observation

Would actually make a great detective

Like Marigold, family is everything to him

He's more than willing to do anything for them with almost no hesitation

ALSO friendly sparring with his siblings

Marigold is their coach and teaches them how to fight

While Simon appreciates everything she's done for them, all the sacrifices she had to make, all the protection and all, he wants to do the protecting for once

He wants to be someone that they can rely on despite him already being that person

Made it one of his life goals to beat his sister in a fighting match at least once

Honestly, he doesn't really likes kids

He just tolerates them

He already has to deal with his other two siblings bickering, arguing, and him having to break up the fight before it escalates

He doesn't want to deal with that again

Soft demisexual boi

Levi

The smartest and most logical out of the three

But definitely isn't the nicest

He's not as rude as Marigold and wouldn't loudly insult a random person

But he will call out someone if they're being a dumbass

Will nitpick every single thing that's wrong with that person and make them feel bad

All while with a resting cold bitch face

I think the better word for this is intimidating

Marigold is intimidating in a sense that you know she'll break your bones if you do anything that's considered wrong in her eyes

Simon isn't that much intimidating until he threatens to call in his sister and brother

While Levi intimidates someone in a sense that you'll be mentally scarred as his harsh words would stick to you for a very long time

Anyway, he wears glasses and his sister gives him shit for it

"Hey nerd!" "What's up, nerd?" "Wow that's some nerd shit." "NERD NERD NERD."

Dislikes his sister very much

No matter how many times he tries to insult her, it seems like it doesn't affect her at all

And that results into physical fights where Simon has to (attempt to) break it up

He thinks that she's a bad influence to his older brother despite him being the youngest

Levi is honestly the physically weakest

He doesn't like to participate in any physical activities with Marigold

So he always makes up excuses and leaves

Is also a comic book nerd

Has a whole ass bookshelf dedicated to the comics he collected over the years

He's serious almost 85% of the time

He doesn't really think much of children

As long as they don't get his stuff dirty, he doesn't have much of an issue with them

But he would rather have them out of his way since it makes things a tad bit easier

REALLY does not like to play around and would rather be straightforward than beat around the bush

Can be pretty blunt

It's to the point where he makes a joke and people don't know if he's being serious or not

When a crisis comes down that involves his family, he'll try to stay calm and stay rational

But on the inside, he's panicking

Sure, his siblings may be dumbasses (especially MG), but that doesn't mean he doesn't care about them

They're the only family he has

But for his and their sake, he has to stay logical

How They Change: Halfway through the series, her adoptive daughter Hana is killed, and she must deal with the aftershocks of this loss and what it means for her family.

Why You Love Them: She’s absolutely the mom friend, and she’s such a sweet woman who only wants the best for her little cobbled together family. She’s gone through hell and only come out better because of it, which I see as admirable.

‘The Hypocrite Hegemonic West’ Projects Its Own Crimes Onto China By Accusing It of ‘Genocide’ and ‘Colonialism’

A key Western propaganda strategy is to accuse others of crimes that they’ve themselves committed. This is seen most blatantly in Western accusations that China is committing “genocide” or “colonialism” in Xinjiang.

As I Say, Not as I do

Most Western criticisms of China can be categorized under one broad umbrella: psychological projection. It is involuntary, reflexive and Pavlovian; as well as strategic, planned and deliberate. It’s a key pillar of Western propaganda, especially against China. It manifests in accusing others of that which you are guilty of.

Few propaganda campaigns meet the criteria better than the “Xinjiang genocide” narrative. Western history has no shortage of genocide and mass murder – both at home and abroad. Thus, in a natural reversal, many in the West accuse China of genocide. Such accusations are weaponized by the Western propaganda machinery – from the media to Wikipedia – and then projected onto China. Of course, there’s little evidence for any of it.

The United States of America, the vanguard of Western propaganda today, remains at the forefront of this campaign. The entire nation itself was of course founded on the genocide of indigenous peoples. Thus, in a classic example of projection, the US projects its crimes onto someone else, officially accusing China, its main rival, of genocide.

It is of course an entirely political decision – the US regime’s own lawyers disagree with the assessment.

Not to be outdone, also accusing China of “genocide” is Canada’s House of Commons. Recently, as unmarked graves of indigenous children are being discovered across the country, Canada has sought to divert attention by stepping up its “human rights” criticisms of China. It even went to the extent of delivering a joint statement on behalf of 44 countries at the UN Human Rights Council, which, with no sense of irony, mentioned reports of “forced separation of children from their parents” in China – exactly what Canada itself had done to indigenous children, word for word. Goebbels would’ve been proud.

Such flippant, reckless accusations of “genocide” by Western nations and their legislatures and media are despicable; not to mention a grave injustice to victims of actual genocides. Few diplomatic actions are more irresponsible than making a joke of perhaps the most serious accusation that can be levied on a nation state.

The ideological basis of the new Cold War is clear, and this time the Western powers look set to be on the losing side

A Project of Projection

Yet, despite the factual inaccuracy and historical revisionism, such projection nevertheless feels comfortable. Projecting your own guilt on someone else is an easy coping mechanism. It makes you feel better knowing that those “Others” are no better than you are. It helps you avoid coming to terms with your own guilt. This could help explain why so many are willing to absorb and believe it.

As an added bonus it also provides a much-needed diversion from their own crimes, not to mention aids the hybrid war against China.

An old falsehood in the West’s quiver is accusing China of colonialism. When once China was accused of imperialism and even “genocide” in Tibet, with even Hollywood celebrities speaking out, that is no longer in fashion. Today, the same narrative is being recycled for Xinjiang.

Industrial-Scale Lies

Colonialism is defined by economic exploitation and wealth extraction. The colonizer extracts wealth from the “colony,” either by exploiting its labor or natural resources, and ships it back to benefit the home nation. The “colony” becomes drained of capital and sees little benefit from its own natural resources and labor. Consequently, the colonizer grows richer.

Few colonial examples illustrate this better than India, the largest “colony” of the largest imperial empire in the modern world.

When British colonialists first started landing on Indian shores, the subcontinent commanded the single highest share of the world’s economy. In 1700 AD, India had 24.4% of the world’s GDP, the largest in the world. It was the global leader in manufacturing, producing 25% of the world’s industrial output. From the late 17th to the early 18th century, India accounted for 95% of British imports from Asia. The Indian economy at the time was in a proto-industrial state, and if left to its own devices, would possibly have experienced an “industrial revolution” of its own.

Instead, it was Britain that had the industrial revolution – financed by Indian capital. By the mid-18th century, the relative situation between India and Britain was largely reversed, with Britain beginning to replace India as the world’s leading economic and commercial power, leading directly to its superpower status.

Estimates cited by the Indian Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar, suggest the total robbery amounted to $45 trillion, around 17 times Britain’s current GDP.

India’s share of world GDP had come down from 24.4% to 3% when the British left in 1947. The same study also estimates that an unbelievable 1.8 billion people died from deprivation and famines in 190 years – between 1757 and 1947. No wonder then the British House of Commons projects Britain’s crimes onto someone else – officially accusing China of genocide by passing a non-binding motion (Britain having committed no shortage of crimes against China as well). There is little doubt that if India today was the rising power that China is, the West would’ve concocted similar accusations and projected their crimes onto India instead.

China’s Nefarious Plot to Make People Richer

Today, the “Xinjiang genocide” narrative has been largely debunked, with even the most wicked propagandists split on whether the term is appropriate.

Accusations of colonialism are no less farcical. While colonialism is defined by economic exploitation and wealth extraction, China’s policies in Xinjiang and Tibet, while far from perfect, are the opposite. These regions have become exponentially richer than what “democratic” countries like India achieved for their border minority regions, or indeed, for their whole countries. China recently announced the elimination of extreme poverty, including in Tibet and Xinjiang.

In 2020, Tibet had the fastest economic growth among all of China’s 31 provinces and administrative regions. Per capita income has doubled in the last 10 years. Primary school enrollment is nearly universal. The unemployment rate is below 4%. Nearly all higher-education graduates have a job.

Xinjiang has a per capita income of around $7,868, higher than that of Goa ($6,698), India’s richest state by per-capita income. Meanwhile, Kashmir, a restive Muslim-majority region of India that also has a history of separatism and terrorism, languishes with a per capita income of $1,342.

Beijing has invested about 2.35 trillion yuan in Xinjiang over the past seven decades. GDP grew at an annual rate of 7.2% from 2014 to 2019. Per capita disposable income has multiplied more than 100-fold in 40 years. Primary school enrollment is 99.91%. 99.7% of residents are covered by basic medical insurance. Colonialism indeed.

Genociding Truth

Of course, none of this means that Chinese rule is legitimate because it has made these regions richer. Xinjiang and Tibet are as much part of China as Texas or Florida are of the US. Yet, for decades, Western propaganda has desperately tried to poison the well and portray Chinese rule as illegitimate. The US has directly funded Tibetan and Uighur separatists for decades.

Normally, one would assume that the more serious the accusation, the more overwhelming the evidence. But in this case, it’s the opposite. No wonder few outside the West are buying it. The Xinjiang narrative remains one of America’s weakest propaganda campaigns.

The Western cabal often tries to slander China at the UN by releasing statements criticizing it. China and its allies then release counter-statements in response. The two groups have been exchanging official barbs over the last three years, at numerous UN sessions. In every single such exchange, the pro-China side always gets more support than the pro-US side – every single time.

In the latest back and forth, where Canada fired the opening salvo with its joint statement last month, the result was an overwhelming backlash of anti-imperialist solidarity – a whopping 90 nations released statements supporting China and opposing any interference in its internal affairs. The international community stood with China against the US-led Western onslaught.

Expectedly, this elicited complete radio silence from Western media. It could only keep shouting over the rooftops about how “44 nations criticize China at the UN” – in story after story, with no mention of the nations supporting China. After all, propaganda by omission remains the easiest and oldest form of propaganda.

Truth is often said to be the first casualty of war. It is also the first casualty of an information war. And in the West’s campaign to accuse China of “genocide,” the only thing being murdered is the truth.

Seeing Past Evil

Read Mark 5

God is not tempted by evil, and nor does He tempt anyone with evil, as we are taught in James 1:13. Not only is God not enticed by evil, but He is not tricked by it either. Furthermore, God wants us to be transformed to a state where we are not fooled by it in our lives. In Mark 5:1-20, Jesus is confronted by a man who runs up to Him, bows down, and then cries for mercy to come out of his mouth. However, the Christ is not fooled into thinking this a mere victim to be pitied, for Jesus realizes this is a legion of demons pulling a scam. Holiness is not fooled by wickedness, and when we receive the gift of sanctification, that gift which quickens us for holy living, we are given a new set of eyes with which we can think more and more perfectly as we are aligned with God and His perfect will. Furthermore, we must realize that a lot of people want to be liberated from the nonsensical lack of truth in our world. Many see that scams are continually carried out, and they want liberty from them. We must witness to our neighbors of how the Gospel frees our minds to think clearly and see truth.

What do we expect evil to look like? A face of twisted features with a grotesque lack of symmetry? Whenever we think of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, we tend to envision the good doctor as a calm, collected man who wears a careful face of resolution, while his alternative self of Mr Hyde is a hideous brute with rudely contorted features. We think of one looking tame, as if he had never broken a bone, and other looking primitive, as if every bone had been broken and healed without being put back right. This is indeed how Hollywood has portrayed the situation; however, the actual novel of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde teaches something far more elusive about the face of evil.

Robert Louis Stevenson opens our minds to something different, something more sinister than mere misshapen features. In the novel, He describes Mr Hyde as follows: There is something wrong along with his look; something displeasing, something down-right detestable. I by no means saw a man I so disliked, and yet I scarce realize why. He had to be deformed somewhere; he gives a robust feeling of deformity, even though I couldn’t specify the factor. He’s an extraordinary searching man, but I truly can name not anything out of the way.

Mr Hyde’s features were not at all broken or misshapen. In fact, he appears much younger than Dr Jekyll, since never being a man he never had the opportunity to age. The discomfort he generates is unseen, and hard to pin down. He is certainly displeasing, but one cannot say why. Hyde gives the impression of being deformed, but there is no visible deformity. There is nothing visibly out of place, nothing strange which can be specified. Yet, his deformity is real, for his malady is nothing less than a nature that is perfectly sinful.

There is a lot we can learn from this fictional illustration. Evil does not always give us the gift of obvious deformity, but instead wholehearted evil often slips in looking completely ordinary. It is for this reason that we should be grateful when evil is obvious. It is easy to see the demonic truth of a twisted man tormented in the cemetery, but very hard to spot the demon which talks to you about Scripture on the sabbath.

In the first five chapters of Mark’s account of the Gospel, we find that Jesus has had a multitude of demonic encounters. Many of them were cast out in the synagogues, moving around society like ordinary people. Here in Mark 5 Jesus meets one in the cemetery, and something strange happens. The demoniac comes running towards Jesus, and upon meeting Him bows before the Christ. We read this story with the luxury of time, for we get a brief account of the encounter and learn how it ends quickly. But imagine if we saw this situation as it happened, imagine if we saw the demoniac speak to other people who did not have the power to cast out the evil, or even force it to reveal its name. If all we saw was a man bowing down and asking for relief, we might be fooled.

In Revelation 13:1 the Apostle John witnesses the beast rising out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads; and on its horns were ten diadems, and on its heads were blasphemous names. The beast appears on the seashore as if it is an ordinary thing, as if there is nothing suspicious at all about its emergence from the eternal deep. Despite its indescribable appearance, the beast does not come out of the sea in strong declaration of its evil. Rather, it comes out of the sea as if it is the most natural thing, as if people should have expected it all along. It comes with no Declaration of Independence to King George III as did those who led the American Revolution, and it does not nail 95 Theses to the door of the Church as did Martin Luther. The beast does not bother with explaining itself, for it merely expects people to worship it. And they do; moreover, in Revelation 13:8 all the inhabitants of the earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slaughtered.

The terrible demons in Mark 5 come to Jesus as if it is the most natural thing for them, as if their prostration is noble. However, they do this without the slightest recognition of the unspeakable evil they have enforced upon their captive child of God. The demonic hoard comes to Jesus, and forces their slave’s body to bow before the Christ. Specifically, the word used is prosekynesen, which refers to the reverent act of bowing down before someone in recognition of their honor. But let us not be deceived, the demons do not pay an honest tribute to Jesus’ honor as God the Son. They know who He is, and yet they think they can bow before Him without any recognition of the unfathomable evil they are conducting right before His eyes!

It is not the demons who bow, but the captive man they pilot around like a ferry. They cannot bow before Jesus without jerking about the chains and cables which animate their puppet. Their act of bowing is nothing more than an act of fiendish mockery. If they are not willing to even acknowledge their crime, then they are not serious about bowing down, much less real worship.

The wicked legion of hell comes with an attitude towards Jesus, as if they might somehow paint Him as the tormentor. Hell is very skilled at accusing others of what it is guilty of; in fact, we quite often find that people are regularly guilty of the sins by which they accuse others. It is easy to project the sin that one understands, and the demons understand a thing or two about torment.

From this we learn that we must be very careful not to be fooled by evil. Many of the superficial details of this scene might lead us to think the demons were good if we did not have Jesus there to exorcise them. They come bowing down before Jesus, they call out His truth and correctly name Him as the Son of God, and they even come with an appeal that makes them sound as if they are the victims who need pity. Yet, all of this is a scam. It is a diabolical misrepresentation that bears false witness to the truth that they are slaving pirates who sail around the earth with one of God’s children as their unwilling ship.

Evil is both real and present, and the more we think it is absent the better it is situated to prey on us. Christ does not want us to be enslaved to evil, but to be liberated by the power of the Gospel. If we want to stand firm against the wiles of Evil, then we must recognize that even the devil can quote scripture and demons will pretend to bow down before the King of Kings.

Jesus’ response gives no credence to the insincere appeal, and He commands them to be cast out. There is no negotiation, no agreement met where they can continue to keep their man in bondage. At the word of Jesus, they must let him free. This is how the Gospel handles evil: it casts it out. There is no compromise to be made with it, and let us not think that sending the demons into the swine was a compromise, for the Scriptures do not specify that it was only the swine who perished in the waters.

Jesus was neither fooled nor distracted by the fake posturing of the demonic legion, and from this fact we learn something distinct about holiness. Those who live holy lives should not be easily fooled by deceptive morality. Throughout the Gospel, Jesus is teaching us that we should not see problems in the world in the same way that the world does. We must teach our children and our neighbors how to think clearly, and the only way to truly think freely is to be transformed by the perfect love of Christ. God wants us to use our minds, but the devil and his demons want us to be blind and led astray by every passing whim.

In Mark 1:16-20 the world saw fishermen when Jesus saw two brothers named James and John who needed the call of Heaven. Later in Mark 1:40-45, the world saw a leper while Jesus saw a man that He wanted to make clean. The world saw tax collectors and sinners in Mark 2:13-17, but Jesus saw a man called Levi who needed the love of God. Time and time again in the Gospel the world tries to get Jesus to answer questions like “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” as in John 9:2, but Jesus answers, “neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God’s works might be revealed in him.” as in John 9:3. Jesus does not see things in the way the world wants Him to, for the holiness of God is not baited into anything less than truth. By the time we arrive at our text in Mark 5:1-20, a man runs up to Jesus, bows down, and an appeal for mercy comes out of his mouth; however, Jesus is not fooled by what appears to be a reverent victim crying out for earnest relief, instead He sees the truth: a diabolical scam pretending to be something it is not.

All Christians are instructed by the Gospel to have a new set of eyes with which they navigate life; furthermore the very gift of the Holy Spirit, a gift we often call sanctification, should transform how we see the world. In Acts 3:1-7 there was a man expecting alms by the Temple. He had been lame from birth and the world, including the supposedly spiritual people, expected this man’s situation to be addressed in terms of alms, pity, and material charity. Peter and John do not address this man’s problems on the terms of finance and pity. Instead, they heal him. They see the world differently, not bothering to get hung up in the weeds of alms and pity. They see the world on the terms of the Gospel, and are moved to bless the man with the liberty of Christ. This freedom to see problems differently is a gift of the Gospel, and we must illuminate it to others.

In 1 Peter 4:1-4, the Apostle Peter lays out for us how we should think differently than the world by thinking clearly with the Holy Spirit: Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same intention (for whoever has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin), 2 so as to live for the rest of your earthly life no longer by human desires but by the will of God. 3 You have already spent enough time in doing what the Gentiles like to do, living in licentiousness, passions, drunkenness, revels, carousing, and lawless idolatry. 4 They are surprised that you no longer join them in the same excesses of dissipation, and so they blaspheme.

In Ephesians 6:17 the church is given the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. The Holy Spirit came to us, and we have been gifted the great weapon of sanctification. The church should not be in lockstep with the world, being fooled and baited into untruthful methods of thinking. 1. My take on their canon relationship: Levi’s concern and admiration for erwin is one of the most beautiful and sad things I’ve seen. I can tell erwin totally appreciated him & his devotion and was thankful the whole time that someone like levi could trust him that much..I want to believe that if given other circumstances (like..if he had a better self-esteem and wasn’t commander lmao) Erwin could have opened himself a bit more to offer some extra closeness back..not necessarily romantic but y'kno something more than just showing acknowledgement and trust.

2. Do I ship them: yeah is just that is so canonically angsty it hurts lol

3. Reasons why I do/don’t ship them: I love Erwin and watching him receive love so who would be more suitable for that job than levi hahahha

4. Headcanon, if any: (this is one I just shared on twitter the other day :p) Erwin can get low-key sensitive about his weight sometimes and Levi likes to watch his intakes so whenever E is about to eat a big dessert, L will interrupt and jokingly remind him of the possible huge amount of calories he’s about to ingest. Then for L’s bad luck E will go emo about it and just stare at the good looking cake with moonlight sonata playing on the bg while L will feel nothing but guilt til the end of his days after realizing he’s the reason Erwin can’t have nice things. The end.

I think it was a great ep and did pretty well with the chapters it adapted. The dialogue was there and so were the scenes, the ending hyped what is coming so much so I'm already in love!

The soundtrack slaps, voice acting is on point, and the animation proves to be very promising. Overall, it's a great episode to start off the second cour!

I can’t believe how clean all of the animation is looking. SUPER impressed with the difference in art-style compared to season 1 as well.

one advantage of the short season is that they cant draw out the serum bowl for too long. God, that was a painful wait when the manga was dropping those chapters.

Really well done, the pacing in particular was great. After seeing it I was convinced 10 episodes was perfect for this arc. A 6-4 split is perfect.

it only becomes obvious b/c manga readers keep pointing stuff out. Yes, the intros have always hinted at things but it goes so fast that I don’t think every person will know exactly what something means if they’re anime only.

The Opening is good representation of this phase of the story ending.

I don't get why people are making a big deal over the "spoilers" in the opening when they're not even anime-onlies themselves in the first place.

Man, it only seems spoilery for those of us who know what's coming. It was an introduction episode, so imo, it's just there to put the basis for the rest of the season. There was a good balance between the "emotionally charged" scenes and the more quiet ones, all this accompanied with an increasing tension in the background.

I wish theyd reanimated the scene of armin talking to eren about the opening instead of just reusing the animation from season 1.

Watching this episode is bringing back all the suspense and awe I felt when I read this part in the manga. What a treat to be able to relive it!

They did a great job at keeping the tension and the "well shit everything's about to go wrong" from chapters 73 and 74, and managed to make the explosion at the end worth it, despite the fact I still think Reiner's continued survival throughout the arc is stupid and wish the anime had changed it so it'd be more believable, but here we are.

ROUND THREE- PROMPT LIST (REQUEST NOW, READ ALL OF THIS)

So this is the THIRD installment of my “x reader” prompt list. HOORAY! In light of leaving for so long it’s made me realize that I feel dead inside without writing so, I’m gonna do it again and hopefully this time stay. Also since I don’t eat, breathe, sleep, and shit kpop and actually like some other things too, I feel it’s a good opportunity to share how I’d like various anime characters to fuck me up in more ways what one (wink wonk). I will also say I might only do “character x reader” because I am absolute shit at doing ships. It’s just not my thing and plus I love making peoples personal fantasies come true, it is a big hobby of mine.

Also if you request a character (assuming you’re asking for an anime request) that is portrayed as a young teenager, then most likely (scratch that, the word I’m thinking of is “absolutely”) he/she will be written in a universe as a young adult/older than 18 because I’m all about legal consent to doing the fun shit either that...or not at all. (I have to make this big because I cannot stress enough how important this rule is and if you can’t comply, then I have every right to reject your request) Don’t argue with me please.

Rules- You may choose up to 5 prompt numbers if you can’t choose, talk to me and we’ll go through it together because I’m here to capture your horny ass vision. (Example- You wanted to request 3, 4, 12, 45, and 23). Please start with telling me which character you’d like me to write for and give me some insight. (Example- You want a J-hope office AU, then explain the preface like hate to love, secret affair, cute office shit. Or let’s say for example you want something Levi Ackerman related and you talked back to him and he don’t like dat so he “punishes you” ;) ). Get it?
