you know when you imagine the chapter in your head before you write it and its so beautiful and it flows perfectly and you’re like wow look at me fucking go i am the best ever… and then it gets to actually writing those thoughts into my stupid google doc file and i am suddenly useless, i simply cannot do the thoughts in my head justice. i’m using the same words over and over again—remus has ‘said’ something three million bloody times and sirius has now felt his breath catch in his throat for the 5th time. where is my originality? where has all of the interesting and character building discourse gone? soon they’ll start having a pillow fight and one of them will call the other a wanker—or, maybe, call me crazy, they’ll have a smoke together! (they actually do this in the chapter already, im proving my own point) i am going insane. how do other writers do this so gracefully? (i have about all the grace of a reversing dump truck without any wheels) yesterday i was writing like i was hamilton, 5k done and dusted like it was nothing. i had to physically peel myself away from my laptop so i could sleep because i was just sooo motivated. and then today…nothing NOTHINGGGGG.

soooo safe to say that chapter 6 of cbbh is on her way but she isn’t coming quietly.

its now time for me to lock my phone and laptop into a cage. im in time out xx
