i feel so bad. i kept bothering my roommate this morning with my endless stream of random thoughts that i thought she'd find interesting or funny and she's way too nice to tell me to stop or leave her alone :((

i'm like. aware of it now (after i'm sure i've sufficiently annoyed her) but i felt like i couldn't HELP IT until after the annoyance damage was done 🥺💃

so anyway. she just left bc she had plans so i'm stewing in my guilt but i think i'm gonna get out of our place for a bit so she has some time alone bc i'm becoming more aware of how overwhelming i can be sometimes

but like, only when i get close to a person. it's hard for me to open up to ppl but once i'm close to them? nothing is off the table. i tell her grimy details about my periods and poops and i told her when i found a freckle on my labia.

so anyway. i think i need to take a deep breath and touch some grass and have some quiet time by myself outside of our place.

A very strange feeling that comes from being a trans man is like. I am fundamentally the same person after coming out that I was before coming out. There are some differences (I'm happier and more comfortable in my own skin, for instance, and everyone changes a little bit over time) but overall I still have the same personality traits, same values and morals, etc etc. But after I came out, people who thought I was a perfectly okay and decent person switched to thinking I'm dangerous and untrustworthy, even when nothing about me had changed except the gender label they know me as.

Supernova, Kon's new hero name since Jon took over the Superboy name now, wasn't expecting to be called out to... especially in the sky... by another floating/flying person and-

Glowing green eyes, and white hair, a bit shorter than him. He was floating in the air with a soft glow around himself as well.

And he was holding a white haired, very similar looking toddler in his arms, only the toddler had longer hair that was tied in pigtails. And the toddler was staring at Kon with large, almost sparkling eyes.

The young man, around Kon's age if he guessed, smiled and floated a bit closer, his face friendly and warm. When the young man stopped he kindly asked "Hey, would it be any trouble for you to autograph something for my daughter? She's a huge fan!"

I just did some math and, if Cas is as old as the earth, his 12 years with Dean is equivalent to like 0.08 seconds in a human lifespan. That’s less than 1/10th of a second, shorter than the blink of an eye. He knew Dean for such a short amount of time compared to his entire existence and it was enough to fundamentally change everything about Cas and how he sees the world. That’s absolutely insane to me.

Thinking about once again how jesters would sometimes be used for warfare:

Jester is getting sent out with some of the troops and Augustine worried for his welfare insists that he should also wear armor for his protection. However Jester argues that without his motley he wouldn’t even be recognized as a jester. So Augustine fixes this by painstakingly painting some armor with designs similar to the motleys he wears.

Hot take: Bluey became such a massive hit because it's one of the few currently-running TV shows where parents and children are both treated as valuable people with rich inner lives.

After the death of the family sitcom, most shows are either: 1) aimed at children and show the parents as idiots who get in the way of the children's plans; 2) aimed at adults and show only childless single people; or (rarely) 3) family sitcoms where the parents and children are horrible people who hate their lives and yell a lot. So a show that portrays the children and the parents as people with interesting personalities who are doing their best and like spending time with each other filled a gap in the culture and people went crazy for it.
