re: elves and other non-human races having a fetishized view of humans - it makes me think of how in many fantasy settings humans are the only race able to interbreed with the other races, or are always the most common in interspecies pairings š¤ Can see how being very attractive/attracted to other species could becomes a stereotype for humans, or a defining trait like intellect for elves, strength for orc/demons, senses for beastfolk...
Classic fantasy rules typically have 'versatility/adaptability' as a human's special trait, but there's a better case for breedability methinks, if only unofficially š¤
omg nonnie youve literally put it in better words than i can ever come up with. I havent been able to shake off the idea that humans would be seen as the sort of āblank-slateā species in a fantasy settings either; but ive also thought of framing it in a way that it is this exactā¦plainness? that makes humans stand out to some. if i were to push it further (and disregard all semblance of biological reasoning) perhaps humans are sought after because their weaker gene expressions will always give way to potent non-human genes, and halflings bear little to no sign of their human blood (at least on surface) - meaning that if all else fails, humans would be perfect vessels with great success for breed-ability...im not sure if im making any sense at all LOL but this is just a long-winded way to say humans are the superstar interbreeding extraordinaires with a 120% success rate!!!! which make them magnets to nefarious horny non-human/monster folk that need to get their shit ROCKED
#ask#anon#i thought i was perhaps a little insane to just say āummmm well the characteristic of humans is that theyre great for interspecies breedingā#but i also think. why am i trying so hard to be reasonable as if i havent been making up pure self-indulgence content this whole time#like i also see the logistic flaw in that if elves keep breeding with humans theyd end up populating the place with half-elfs#but have you considered that. thog dont caare

would love to know your thoughts on rinsha dunmeshi. or on rin and kabru :-)
OH!! i love rin honestly lightning damage and unaffiliated spellcasters will get me every time.
i would have loved to see more of her, but i do really enjoy kui's style of storytelling where she gives us the information about a character that will tell us exactly what she wants us to know. it reminds me of the way someone described suzanne collins' writing as surgically preciseāshe has more information about characters and the world, but she included what would get her story across most effectively. kui gives off a similar impression, and i think rin is a good example of that.
sorry readmore because that was getting long already.
rin's backstory is really interesting to me because it helps us to extrapolate so much more about the world and the other characters in it.
for what it's worth, i don't think it's terribly likely that her parents were practicing ancient magic. they were immigrants of a visibly different ethnicity, though, and they were magic users, which othered them doubly in the northern continent, and that otherness cost them their lives. this is sort of a running theme in dungeon meshi overall ofc, but i think a lot of discussion surrounding dungeon meshi discrimination focuses on the elves. which is fair, since they seem to be the most significant world power and they're weird race elitists as elves in fantasy frequently are, but the story does not want us to forget that discrimination is complex and so is otherness. tallmen may not be respected by long-lived races, but in communities where they do have power, they're still perfectly capable of leveraging it against others. they seem to have a particular bias against magic, but really anything people deem weird or creepy is enough to land you in trouble: laios faced constant rejection and, in some cases, severe harassment just for being autistic; kabru's eye color was enough to push his mother to the fringes of society and get her accused of witchcraft, suggesting that "weird or creepy" is regularly conflated with "magic" in tallman societies; and falin's affinity for magic led to her isolation and ostracism as her mother frantically tried to suppress it. rin's parents, meanwhile, were outright executed. the nature of these reactions to anything unfamiliar or non-standard are definitely meant to convey something about tallman societies in the world, but i think rin and kabru's situations specifically lend some explanation as to why falin is so forgiving of her parents. they didn't really know what to do with her, and some of the things they did to her were harmful, but she seems to see them as trying their best to protect her, perhaps because she knows the emergence of her magic could have put her in immediate physical danger but didn't.
with that being said, i'm surprised rin doesn't have more of an aversion to tallmen, but maybe kabru made enough of an impression on her that she developed some hope for them.
her dislike of elves, meanwhile, is entirely understandableāher interactions with them seem to be framed as emblematic of how they treat short-lived races in a way we don't really see with the others. milsiril objectifies short-lived races but does seem to... kind of care, otta fetishizes them but seems to... kind of care, mithrun's squad only get to be patronizing for a bit before it becomes apparent they bit off way more than they could chew, and mithrun isn't invested in these designations anymore. but the elves that found rin treated her like evidence, then like a toy, and then they got bored and ignored her, and then she was evidence again, and then she got adopted out to elves who kept her like they would a pet. miserable fucking experience, and a very thorough and efficient way of expressing just how little the elves are socialized to consider the humanity of the other races.
as for her relationship with kabru... i'm glad they had each other around. it's impossible to be surprised that she latched onto him in her circumstances, and i think it's sweet that she was the one he stuck with (despite the implication that milsiril was raising other children alongside him that he ostensibly would have spent more time with).
i also love how apparent their closeness is! rin gravitates to kabru, and if i'm remembering right, most of the time she speaks it's to him. that immediately established to me that she is uniquely comfortable with him, and interestingly it goes both ways! it's less apparent with kabru, because he's a lot more social than she is, but vitally, he lets the mask slip with her. she's the only character he goes out of his way to tease, and sometimes he takes it a little bit into "alright that was kind of mean" territory, which sucks of him but is kind of the point. kabru's interactions with rin are the earliest ones where we see him fuck up or be a little bit of an asshole, and that's almost certainly because she is a person he feels comfortable enough with to not try to game every conversation. kabru being a little bit of a bitch is the first time we see him not trying to be charismatic. and she gives it RIGHT BACK lmfao it really conveys the feeling that these two are kind of "safe people" for each other, even if they're bantering a little meanly. very charming, top-tier childhood friend dynamic, no notes.
editing to add:
^ YEAH THIS IS IT thank you @gerrykeay i think this really captures the spirit of her revulsion with regard to things like magic school (and its graduates), etc... she seems to think of magic school as this sort of lofty opportunity only people with a certain level of social standing are able to access (which seems to hold a level of truth) and reject it on the basis that something like that is fundamentally incompatible with who she is as a person, and that's probably the same reason she remains unaffiliated despite knowing practicing magic without organization ties is potentially dangerous for her. these systems rejected and failed her family and her, so she rejects them in kind.... god i'm so obsessed with the way practically every character has a main character backstory and motivations this really is like a ttrpg lol

some modern girl falls into middle earth concepts (the hobbit & lotr)
reader has a gold tooth or two, obvs the company is interested but what happens when thorin gets that gold sickness lmfao
reader has hella tattoos/piercings/body mods (tatted eyeballs, pointed ears, split tongue, fangs, etc) and explains the process to the company (maybe dwalin gets the hots). this is, of course, after the company finds out reader is in fact human and not some odd race they've never heard of
black or native american reader (bc u know how dwarves & elves are with hair)
reader who speaks norwegian and has studied norwegian history (bc why not) and likes to draw comparisons between scandinavian culture and dwarven culture (idk why lmao)
italian reader (bc food)
reader with dai yueqin-length hair (aka if its not up its a tripping hazard to everyone)
reader who's a part of the sca
deaf!reader (maybe bifur's sign language is similar to asl and they end up becoming friends)
blind!reader (reader likes touching faces, im just imagining reader touching one of the dwarves' faces and being like "oh wow ur very handsome", maybe reader likes bigger noses, bigger ears, longer hair, and beards bc they feel interesting as opposed to a clean-shaven face and smaller features)
reader with a beard fetish (*everyone looks at nori and his glorious beard*)
stoner reader who, after falling into middle earth, found themselves constantly stoned stupid due to eating a brownie before the fall (and by some weird magical thing, their body is now "glitched").
alternatively, stoner reader who had seeds on them before they fell.
metalhead reader (specifically eddie munson-style...so thrasher obsessed with dnd).
crackfic idea: introducing the dwarves to diggy hole (lmao)
reader, who's obsessed with stories, tells the company a different story from their home world each night (like a story about a young viking managing to train the most ferocious dragon (how to train your dragon)). later, reader ends up retelling snow white and the seven dwarves.
some sort of bl2 x hobbit crossover (reader's a siren but not from the borderlands universe, and in this case their magic is more like pony magic from mlp friendship is magic or bonnies magic from vampire diaries). they dont get any markings or anything until they "leech" the gold sickness from thorin (which, in turn, affects the reader by making their powers more awesome). obvs there's some limitations (they lose the ability to fully control their limbs and are pretty much wheelchair-bound for a few months). reader is pretty much a demigod (probably just as powerful if not maybe a little less powerful than gandalf).
reader fell into middle earth a couple thousand years ago but due to some weird aging thing and middle earth time working differently than modern earth time they age differently. they've become some minor witch or wizard.
reader "scent marks/chins" to show love (like a rabbit)
reader whos part of modern royalty from our world (and enjoys middle earth more than anything bc they don't have to be "propper" all the time, maybe their more of a princess diana royal)
speaking of princess diana: reader gushes over princess diana
post botfa: fem!reader flirts with dis (lol)
reader pretends to by psychic (like in psych) but in reality they've read every book part of the lotr/hobbit universe and know everything (maybe they understand some of their languages as well, not enough to be fluent but enough to pick out certain words)
reader grew up DEEP in the mountains of west virginia (and likes to sing country roads at random points, though they change some of the lyrics bc they don't have the crayons nor willpower to explain a radio)
reader knows "big bad john" and "the cajun queen" by jimmy dean by heart
reader quietly singing jolene after the events of mirkwood
reader lives life by the kenny rogers song "the gambler"
most of the songs the reader knows are either by dolly parton or kenny rogers (or any other artist similar like reba)
reader casually talks about the horrors of our world like its the most normal thing (ww2, systematic racism, the truth of thanksgiving, climate change, 2020, the patriarchy and how they treat women, etc)...everyone looks horrified
reader writes hozier-style songs
reader is the biggest fucking flirt (but by that, i mean they'll flirt with trees...not just ents, no, trees...and rocks)
reader, a seemingly innocent-looking woman, was a deathmetal vocalist in our world
reader has a thing for watching blacksmiths and metalsmiths (i used to like watching forged in fire until i realized they were a bunch of sexists)
reader has the deepest southern accent-
reader is a little insecure only to find out that everything society deems gross and unsightly in our world is hella attractive to dwarves (body hair, extra weight, etc)
reader has abandonment issues and is terrified the company or fellowship are gonna abandon them at any point
reader introduces the company/fellowship to truth or dare, reader get's dared to tell the group their biggest secret, they pull out their childhood stuffed animal from their bag and introduce the group to said stuffed animal. reader thinks the group will laugh at them. the fellowship finds it endearing. the company also finds it endearing (esp dori, bifur, and bofur).
reader goes on a tangent about frontal lobes for a solid 15 minutes straight with no stopping bc of that one hyperfixation they had a few years back.
reader with chronic pain. they never talk about it but something goes wrong, reader and (we'll say dwalin) switch bodies. the pain is so bad dwalin is keeling over and after they get switched back everyone has a little more respect for reader than before. ("what do you mean tHIS IS NORMAL EVERYDAY PAIN? YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THIS FLARES UP AND GETS WORSE??? THIS ISNT EVEN THE WORST OF IT???" reader shrugs "eh u get used to it after living with it for ur entire life")
reader doesn't like wearing shoes, but has feet as strong as a hobbits so its fine
everyone's explaining what folktale they tell children in different cultures when asked where babies come from. the dwarves talk about being born of rocks, hobbits talk about being born in gardens, the human reader tells the story of the stork
idk i kinda wanna mix some of these together

One of the marks of a truly good work of science fiction or fantasy is that the characters are all real people. Not in the sense of all being human, or or based on specific individuals who exist in reality, but in the sense that even if they're robots or elves or aliens or dwarfs or whatever, they behave in very human ways, have very human motivations. Some of the specific details may be adjusted to suit the setting and/or species, as long as it still ultimately reflects some very real aspect of humanity.
There are many works I could talk about that do this in various ways. Discworld and Babylon 5 are two especially notable examples. But right now I want to talk about Dungeon Meshi. Or Delicious in Dungeon, for the benefit of those who only know it by the official English title. And even within Dungeon Meshi, there are a hell of a lot of ways that all of the characters are made really human. But there is one specific way that I think comes across better than in most other works: cross-species horniness.
There's of course the reliable standard of there being a bunch of half-elves running around which naturally implies a whole bunch of humans tallmen and elves fucking each other, but there's more to it than that. Half-foots generally finding male dwarfs especially attractive. Laios enthusiastically expressing his attraction to orc women. Namari having a thing for tallmen legs and a specific fetish for them wearing equipment like leg pouches. Otta dating a lot of half-foot women. After Marcille's father died, her mother married a gnome. Because, some people being racist shitheads aside, people find a pretty wide variety of people attractive, and this goes in all directions.

Gosh all this talk of policing F/F brings me down to one of my greatest gripes about the Dragon age Fandom. The double standard between shipping Celene/Briala and Maric/Fiona.
I'm not going to go into too much detail, but TLDR both of the couples have a power difference of human ruler vs member of the elven minority who is discriminated against. Celene has tried to improve some elven rights but not fast enough or the 'right way' and in fact in doing so provokes a response where she has to put down an elven rebellion or lose legitimacy with the nobles vs her male cousin (and it all erupts into war anyway) She's been with Briala, her handmaiden and spymaster since they were both teens.
Maric does nothing to improve elven rights in his country, and in fact his two main love interests are elves and you could interpret him as being interested in them *because they are elves* in the companion books he's in (could be my interpretation because salt but eh)
Guess which one is often accused of fetishizing elves? Of having a problematic power dynamic and age difference of when they first got together? And if you ship them together you're a horrible ally who's probably racist.
Anyway it really sucks the fun out of making f/f content when it seems like people actively try to interpret events in the worst way possible if they're both women, even when literally, in the same game even, you have a direct male comparison to it where its all sunshine and rainbows.

i trust ur opinions the most out of any skaighrhim fan i know of, you just never miss
i wanna know your sexuality headcanons
exactly.. speak! i truly never miss; but thank you š¤šš here i go precursor i think most skajrimlian males hate women so that will be explaining most thoughts here so just put a pin in that OK?
no asteriks in this post because it looks annoying 2 me ; brace yourselves
ulfric is definitely gay but only with relation to galmar (mutualism), he hasn't really ever liked anyone since enough to pursue. he is also gay only because he detests women and finds them disgusting after spending some time with elenwen in the torture dungeons, the events shuffling his neurons. same as ulfric, galmar is also light in the loafers, except out of choice. i just don't think he'd find the same 'excitement' in women. he sticks with ulfric atm because 1. of duty and 2. he's very much obsessed with the security ulfric's mental illness and need for reassurance brings him. He just makes him feel good! and ulfric's not even necessarily trying to. iykyk rikke is straight only cause she hasn't had the chance to experiment (always surrounded by men). she likes a responsible manly man. currently likes tullius and is failing at life Hard bc of it. probably used to like ulfric and/or galmar back when they were bffs but never got to join their men-only pond bathing sessions tullius is bisšexual! and it drives him nuts, cause he's not allowing himself to get into male-on-male action fully. imagine that paired with his blossoming altmer fetish. it's a hard life to live let me tell U that ....... likes women when they're interesting enough and is more 'attracted' to men. he's more likely to Like an altmer woman. for men it's just a bonus. a big bonus. if he's an altmer. elenwen My daisy flower rose petal Goddess is straight but also i think she's above having a sexuality. i think she likes others based on how interesting she thinks they are, similar to tullius. don't waste her time elisif is bisexual but not in a way she's ready to comprehend with her frail mind (concussion after ulfric's shout that evaporated her boo boo hubby into slop also threw her against a wall), she just kinda searches for literal crumbs of Anything from anyone, will start liking someone if they're nice to her in many ways. bonus if you see her as a snelf like me: she tends to fall for th*lmor very easily cus she sees them often and likes being in their presence due to feeling some sort of familial elf-tie with them (tired of being around humans all the time) hmmmm.... these are most important so i'll talk about anyone else under the cut
fasendil my cuteums is the straightest man(mer) aliiive i think it's cus of the empire's influence. as i mentioned before tullius would have an eye on him but fasendil would swiftly reject him and lose any respect for him completely. he and rikke would be cute and have a very lukewarm Milk boiled water unsalted soup relationship, saying this nicely, i like them talvas my sweety ugly butterfly Apple fairy (sorry i didn't mean to call you that) is gay but he's not registering that information yet in 'canon' events; he's not really interested in love and isn't seeking it out. can't you see he's preoccupied.. with learning.. unlike you lowlifes.! probably never been attracted to a girl, doesn't think about them. he feels happier when praised by men, too. neloth is .... it's hard to tell tbh, but first and foremost i'd say he likes them YYYYOUNG (around 20-30 in human years) and prefers guys over women, just cus he thinks women are harder to deal with, annoying and r fussier. he probably isn't a fan of the usual affection that comes from women, makes him cringe really hard. prefers more of a hesitant type. why not say smth about this bozo: morgul is defffo gay. Bruh you left orc society to hang with ugly twink elves in some ashy stranded island?? šš bye maybe slitter lets him hit sometimes (is the pay that good?) lleril is an interesting case to me actually, i just remembered when i was reading up on adril it was mentioned he doesn't sleep in the same bed as his wife and it made me laugh really loud; Wow........ explains it all rly. lleril probably thinks nobody can tell he's gay even tho everyone.....can.......... and adril is literally walking around that dinky town doing backflips for him so.. Hm ancano is gay and likes the younger impressionable ones because nobody cares about his ugly ass ever. those always tend to be altmer, or just thalmor subordinates savos is also a blooming pansy with No experience. i think he's pretty good at making his feelings not known (and generally tends to not interact with a bunch of people) so yeah....... nothing LMFAOO this is why he needs some talvas twink action stat i think i ran out of thoughts for now but if anything else comes 2 mind i'll add it laterš

Honest thoughts on the factions in Veilguard.
The Shadow Dragons: I find them bland. There's not much going on here besides seeing the Queen of Tevinter Maevaris and seeing Dorian again. Their goal is honorable but, there's nothing happening. Also, someone on Tumblr made a very, VERY good point on something. Why the fuck is it humans running the show? Not elves? Something's not right there.
The Grey Wardens: I'm one of those DA fans that is a huge fan of this messed up organization š¤£ so I'm a bit biased. There's conflict within the faction, which... I think it's the only organization I can think of that has questionable things going on in this game. And I appreciate that because despite what the Grey Wardens do, they've made some fucked up mistakes. And do fucked up things just to stop the Blight. But, that's why I love it.
The Lords of Fortune: There's nothing going on with this one. The biggest complaint I have is the fucking disrespect done to Isabela. She was already a controversial character design and they made it worse. And the outfits for the Lords of Fortune. Wtf man. Those are outfits I've seen those-kind-of-modders make... It's embarrassing. I've made a post about it before- you can make a sexy pirate with the usual baggy clothes that pirates DID wear back then. But, overall... I think I agree with some folks that maybe this faction shouldn't exist. While there was the Pirate Code in the Pirate Era, pirates did whatever the fuck they wanted. They weren't exactly an organization. As for the bounty hunting part uh... I don't know, there's really nothing interesting about them which sucks because I love pirates. This group just feels like... I don't know. A fetish??? In my DA re-write, I might delete them š
The Antivan Crows: This is not the Antivan Crows. I very much EXPECTED conflict with this one. This is an organization that was involved with slavery and trafficking, to buy people for their organization. Or just go anywhere to find children. Zevran, from the first game, grew up in a brothel and was bought by an Antivan Crow. The training is sheer abuse, you either survive or die. These guys were said to be ruthless and greedy. But, now? Now they're one big happy assassin family, look at how cute they are now~. It just feels weird.
The Mourn Watch: I was immediately drawn to this one, like the Grey Wardens. I'm all for this kind of stuff and I genuinely did enjoy it. I feel like there is a bit of conflict in this one. Mainly for just what they do. The whole idea of spirits roaming freely and possessing corpses, the idea of not burning bodies and storing them away, Mortalitasi using magic involving spirits, etc. The whole thing is conflicting to the DA universe. It does feel like something is missing though and I don't know what it is.
The Veil Jumpers: I personally just don't find them interesting. There's something very bland about them. And I agree with others, it makes zero sense to why a group of Dalish Elves are letting in non-elves join the group. And, again... No conflict. There's nothing morally grey here. I just find them so boring. Also... "Veil Jumpers"? Doesn't work for me.

i found your human kink thing and i think its funny to imagine what the exaggerated human kink porn would be. like do they have visual novels where humans fall in love in seconds and try to get the nonhuman player in bed as soon as possible?
I've put an embarrassing amount of thought into what human fetish porn would look like.
Okay, so take any fantasy race, elves for example, and take all of the porn we have made about them in real life and flip it the other way around. That's the elves' version of human porn, so each race would fetishise a different aspect of humans.
What are the top five sexualised aspects of elves in our porn?
Pointy sensitive ears and how it's inappropriate to touch them
Lean tall builds with airy clothes
Immortals that always look young and ethereal
Isolated societies who don't mix with outsiders
Magic
And if you flip them the other way around, you'd get the top five sexualised aspects of humans in elf porn.
Round short ears and how normalised it is for others to touch them. Earings, piercings, blowing air into your friend's ear as a joke.
Chubby builds in comparison to elves, humans have more fat on their body, a bigger ass, thicker thighs and a very tantalising build. From an elf perspective a human body is pure sexual appeal, every part of is sings to them. And the variety in our builds makes them go feral.
We age and it clearly shows, the grey hair, the wrinkles on the skin. The way our faces change and take shape, the way a human in their 30 or 40 clearly looks their age while an elf remains the same until their 800 years. They notice each small difference in us each time they see us and the fact they can witness our growth gets them off in some weird cycle of nature elfy way.
Welcoming and friendly societies that are the first to introduce themselves to others, the first to say hello to a new emerging race or the first to invite other kingdoms over. Elves call humans the whore race for a reason. We're so quick to trust strangers, so quick to change our ways and rebuild our cities, so eager to meet others and get to know them intimately. Elves get an ego boost each time they stumble upon a cute human in the forest who is fascinated by them, who lets the elf touch and hold them because they're just so curious and have never seen an elf before. We're so welcoming that our barest friendly demnour could compare to what they deem as flirting.
Lack of magic, Or science. They mix these two a lot. A lot of elves must joke about how humans invented science because they're not born with magic, how science is nothing but a cute pathetic attempt at emulating magic. And yet the unknown always has an allure and much like we write porn about elves using magic in sex, elves must have looked at a gun or a laboratory equipment and wondered if a human gets intimate with these objects, gets lewd with their precious science. That humans must have built something for their sexual pleasure, the aphrodisiac pharmaceutical pills, the vibrators and dildos, the lewd clothes we wear that is impossibly tight and seems to only make us look more breedable.
Their cliche porn plots would be finding a lost human in the woods and taking them back to the elf sanctuary and making them a cute breeding bunny. "Saving" them from the barbaric childish lives that humans normally live and actually giving them a purpose, here, within the elves.
Teaching them how to respect nature and how they should know their place as below elves in the natural order and oh the human is just so driven by ego and emotion, so easily controlled by lust that it falls responsibility on the elf's shoulders to get them off and look after them
because humanity can never look after itself. Oh no no no! Could you imagine if the elves weren't here to guide humanity as a race? They'd be doomed. So the elves pat themselves on the shoulders as they circlejerk about clearly they're the guardians of humanity and are protecting them from the shadows and totally not perving up on them.
And that's just for elves! Imagine orcs or dwarves or even tieflings.
What about the races that feel sexual thrills through power and control rather than sex or romance like mindflayers? Who would get off telepathically over the fact we brought them coffee when they ordered us to, or we bent down and picked up something they dropped. Total innocent acts of service are considered the most lewd foreplay a human can do, being a helpful little human is just being a cocktease for mindflayers.
Their porn probably revolves around having a human as a secretary, a house spouse, a thrall. A normal office setting in a human world is like a bdsm sex dungeon to them.

A Dungeons and Dragons campaign, DMed by Elon Musk:
Itāll be an official DND campaign, but Musk will claim he made it himself and some minor things would be changed.
The world is ruled by the God-King Gary Stu self-insert DMPC, who has the funniest, smartest, most fertile man who can do no wrong.
All female npcs want to have King Mlon Euskās babies.
Social issues like global warming, homosexuality, and public transportation have all been cured by King Muskrat himself. Things like poverty, class divide, and slavery still exist, but itās actually a good thing because of āfree speechā or some other excuse.
Saying that you think thereās a flaw in the God of Marsās rule will get you kicked from the table.
Gods donāt exist you fucking idiot. If you play a cleric, you will be hated by all npcs and will have no cleric powers. He will not tell you this until you try to use a cleric ability.
All āgoodā races (humans and elves, you know, aryans) are good, and all āevilā races (orcs, goblins, jews, tieflings, etc) are evil. There is no nuance. All tieflings are trans have eaten cats babies.
The BBEG is very obviously Kamala Harris, but the version of Kamala that alt-right memes depict her as. Everyone knows that sheās an incompetent idiot who would only bring doom if she would take power, something that would never happen. You still have to deal with her though.
The god-king will get the final blow and you will fucking love it.
The DM would constantly get rules wrong as he didnāt read the rules book. If corrected, heāll say that heās actually right because heās doing a meta strategy thatās super smart and no one but him knows about.
Thereās a homebrew rule that female characters are inherently weaker and more submissive than men. Female players have to play female characters.
The reward for killing the evil witch of DEI is a cybertruck. No fantasy bullshit, itās just flat out a cybertruck.
The story ends with all female characters being impregnated by the self-insert.
I legitimately think Musk has a breeding fetish.
And of course this campaign (three at most sessions because he couldnāt be half-assed to do anything more) was the *greatest dnd campaign of your life.
*the following was written under the threat of a lawsuit.

Rad this question itched my brain for like a minute so totally not for shipping purposes (it is.) We know how Stalker feels about humans, but how does he feel about humanOIDS? (non-human creatures with very human appearances. example: vampires, dnd elves, kemonomimis etc.) Would he be like "eh, human enough" or would he be uninterested in them that way bc he specifically wants humans and only humans?
Sans already basically viewed humans as this unattainable kink he could never get, just like how tumblr humans IRL wanna have a piece of some monster ass but it wonāt ever happen.
and monsters had little to zero chance of leaving the underground, so sans just thought his fantasy of fucking a human wouldnāt be true. So it was just a fantasy to him. A fetish.
he finds half humans hot still, like mermaids or vampires, etc. if the upper half is human and has that human appearance/essence he still finds it appealing.
donāt get me wrong, he still fucks with monsters. But if he had to choose between sleeping with a monster or with a human, itād always be the human.
and a half monster half human person wouldnāt be too weird for sans, since, monsters are all heās known. A centaur human? Cool, he literally knows a merman horse underground this is normal.

Do you have any NSFW trivia?
I do! Some of these were compiled from older answers, but I sneaked a few new tidbits in too:
(continued under the cut for NSFW text)
-Elves have the smallest penis-to-body size ratio of all peoples.
-Likewise, roshava have the largest ratio.
-Pregnant demons get cravings for weird fetishes.
-Trolls have smooth bumps on/inside their genitals.
-Dworfen hair is course and stiff, and their pubic hair is even more so. This isn't a problem for thick-skinned peoples like minotaurs, roshava, and ogres, but it can be painfully abrasive to soft-skinned peoples like humans, elves, and fauns during intercourse. Sometimes shaving or deep hair conditioning is necessary.
-Male vampires can't ejaculate, but they can have orgasms.
-All forms of pornography and even nudity are illegal in Damijana. It's so extreme that underwear models have to wear full bodysuits under the products they're modeling.
-Satyrs can identify their own offspring by scent, even if they have never met. This prevents accidental incest from happening at revels...usually.
-Male cecaelia are more likely to form gay relationships than straight ones because their species has multiple males for every female.
-The hands are an erogenous zone for elves. Palm massages aren't so innocent in fae country...
-Satyrs have more nerve endings throughout their bodies than other peoples, particularly in the genital areas. This means sex feels more intense to them. (Unfortunately, so does pain!)
-Female orcs showed sexual interest by ramming their asses against people. Likewise, male orcs bumped their bellies into people.
-Female fauns are aroused by sounds. They can reach orgasm just by listening to a sexy voice or epic music!
-Zareen Empire has the largest porn industry of all the Great Kingdoms. They're kind of famous for it...or infamous, depending on who you ask.
That's all I can think of for now!

More artbook stuff -
Devnotes about the rest of the Elheim gang (Ithilion, Railanor, Eltrinde, Galadmir and Alcina!)
Ithilion!
Who apparently emphasises the "dark elf" and how different it is from the traditional "green" stuff the light elves wear?
"a bit of fetishism" uhh... Are we talking about the belts? It's on par with Yugi/Atem's Battle City outfit lol, but fwiw, I like the yellow/brown thing he wears, is it a cape, or just something for flair, idk.
Elven Fencers are really an... odd class, they can support and stun enemies, but tbh, I feel like I never really knew how to use them properly, save for them being a magic unit and slap them a fire/ice/whatever tome to give X conferal to an unit.
I found the "wind barrier" skill they had sort of cool though, it looks rad and while they aren't supposed to be dodge tanks, the skill is always a pain to deal with when you face some elven fencers lol.
Character wise, Ithilion has a scripted romance with a human NPC (Elina?) girl he saves in Elheim - for all the "we are isolationists and think humans are trash" Eltrinde and Rosalinde - who only became "leaders" recently - welcomed some refugees from Cornia in Elheim, but then Elheim was invaded...
Ithilion is rescued by a bunch of human NPC who refuse to sell him to Zenoiran forces, he tries to solo them/escape on his own with some edgy "I can't be with you because we are at war and I might die" stuff, but Rosalinde and Railanor tease him about it in their supports, and culminates in him taking a "break" from his duties as Rosalinde's guard (rather her kicking him out) for the next 100 years, so he can live his romance with Elina and watch over their kids - epilogue confirms they got half elves and he watches happily over them.
Cucumber point though, that I'll have to check later if it was a localisation stuff or not : in his supports with both Rosalinde and Railanor, it's implied he is younger than them - and listening to Rosalinde's stories about the outside world made him want to become a guard (even if he tried to be edgy and pretend not to be interested, Rosalinde remembers how his ears would betray his excitation!) - but then with the character ages revealed, he is actually older than her...
FWIW, Ithilion's character is a nice one, but I wasn't really fond of his class so I never used him a lot, save for adding a 5th unit in a slot...
Eltrinde!
Rosalinde's younger twin sister, who basically has a support with Lex, out of anyone lol, explaining how dark and light elves aren't on bad terms with each - other unlike other settings where both races are used - and she and her sister are the result of an interspecies romance, her dad was a light elf, and her mom was a dark elf and the previous Priestress, aka the leader of Elheim (it periodically changes, sometimes the light elf leader is the the leader of the country, some other time it's the dark elf leader).
Now...
Dev notes wise.... ugh.
Shrine maidens wearing leotards being a rule? Yeah, I don't believe it - this doesn't feel like the Cornian royal family being inspired by the previous Unicorn Knight design, but more like the devs wanted to draw ladies in leotards, and tried to give some coherence by making twins wear more or less the same clothes, but with some differences.
Pure'n'innocent figure... well yes, Eltrinde's basically, for a good part of the game, the "damsel in distress" Alain'n'Rosalinde have to save... and whose body was/would ultimately be used as a souljar by Alcina to gain a long-lived body, or access to Eltrinde's Priestress' powers.
When she's freed, there's not a lot left to do in Elheim - granted, we see her being worried and horrified when Gary wants to burn Elheim's sacred tree, and it was a welcomed surprise to see her storm and lash out at Baltro (and Alcina? I forgot) for desacrating her brethrens by basically reviving them to use them as zombies - I really liked this scene because if she had been the "demure'n'innocent'n'pure" archetype before, this scene was basically "Eltrinde is fucking pissed".
Of course we learn more about her in her rapport convos, how she loves to spend time with her sister, has a petty side (rip Scarlett's floromancy) and unorthodox passion for mushrooms which is weird for an elf - that gag is even played in the cover art for this artbook, where she basically carries a small mushroom basket :)
Too bad the way the game is structured, we couldn't have her talk more to other characters or engage with plot events from the other routes - her Alain's rapport convo, while playing again with the "romance" trope because much like her sister, she's designed to be a love interest, at least suggested that she knows humans and elves express their feelings differently and tries to adopt human customs when talking/dealing with Alain...
It's a shame it's only in this rapport conversation, because it's pointed out that Eltrinde and Rosalinde are less "insular" than, in general, the rest of the elven NPCs, but I would have liked to see more of that in her various convos.
Gameplay wise, she's more geared towards healing than attacking than her sister, but can also be deadly and with the right combination, Eltrinde can basically make sure that a random team thrown out for memetic purposes can survive at least one or two rounds and kill stuff.
(that was totally not me making a Mordon centric team and not having anyone being able to tank lol)
Galadmir's outfit is the "traditional design of the female elf archer" lol, so we can compare how different, color wise at least, Lydielle is to hers!
GG to VW to have managed to animate all the "floppy" parts when she draws her string, shoots, dodges etc etc because it sounds like a nightmare, but yep, those animations are cool.
Cucumber points for that "defeated" sprite, I mean gratuitous ass and broken spine is just... sigh. Linharagos' sprite is him being on his back, but somehow, for the female archer, she must give a view of her rear :(
Design wise though, it feels like her ears are longer than the other elves we meet, and I found it nice how the devs gave her some accessories (earrings and headdress).
As for Galadmir in herself, she's basically a mentor figure - who teaches and mentors Lydielle in her own training! - who blames herself for not being in the castle when it was overtaken by Zenoira, and when Eltrinde became possessed, but ultimately joins us, not before making sure, though, that Alain's group is trustworthy (even if Rosalinde and Eltrinde are with them...).
So she cooks some "earl grey" backstory asking the gang to help her, they do - while fighting together and when the paralogue is over, it's revealed her "earl grey" backstory was something she cooked on spot, to judge Alain's character (and Lex's lol).
Not a lot to say about her character, save that I liked how her playful side was illustrated in the cover of that artbook, with her teasing Virginia with a worm.
Ah.
Noma-san apparently loves bazongas, so the female elven fencers ended up like this.
Compared to the "cool" design the male elven fencers have this is... Well, okay, I understand dark elves and light elves are supposed to have different cultures and outfits and all, but if you put Linharagos next to Galadmir, it'd make sense to think that they're in the same class : their outfit has enough similarities to draw that link.
For elven fencers though?
It's even more ridiculous because the devs added a rapport convo (tfw Lex is basically the plot exposition guy) where it's explained that her lack of clothes is a choice, because faeries (the source of elven powers) don't like armor/clothes that's why she hangs out not wearing a lot of tissue... but then, Ithilion also uses the same fairies, and he wears pants so... Yeah :/
Even the watsonian explanation doesn't work.
As for Railanor's character, she's basically Colm but for Rosalinde (who still outwardly, at least, cares more about her than Melisandre does for her retainer!) and always dead serious when she has to deal with her liege's ideas (lampshaded in the rapport convo she has with Colm lol) - story wise she became enthralled by Zenoiran forces after creating a diversion to buy time for Rosalinde to escape, and Rosalinde herself felt so upset/horrible for what happened to her, in the map when we have to defeat possessed!Railanor, Rosalinde's seiyuu really managed to convey the feelings of desperation but also anger at the Zenoiran random who was hijacking her friend's body.
She was also the one who trained and mentored Ithilion, so character wise she's alright, but it's really her design that puts me off, or rather, I can't take her seriously lol
And we finish Elheim with a blast : Alcina!
"Strong, scary woman" okay, but the pose where she takes damages is anything but screaming "strong and scary".
"Obsessive feminity", are they talking about her hand gestures when she talks (like in her portraits?) or her animations - maybe it's me, but they're fluid (lel water magic) and it feels like she's dancing or something, instead of being static when casting.
Well, it's everything I have to say about Alcina!
Rather, everything positive I have to say lol, I wouldn't pull the sexism card with her writing (burning the world to reunite with her lost love) because Elheim basically gives us UO's version of Carlyle (I'll cover Gary later!), but I wonder if the devs' mention about "obsessive feminity"... well, betrays that, yep, Alcina's ultimate goal is due to her being an obsessed "woman"...
So yeah... Sexist writing :/
(rip Gary)
Character wise, bar the forced sad uwus, Alcina is still a major thorn in the side of the Zenoirans because she pursues her own goals - hell Baltro would have killed Alain and Eltrinde if not for her meddling, and she was the one who "didn't report" that Alain was hiding on Parevia Island for years, waiting for him to grow old enough to be suitable vessel for his grandpa!
Lore wise at least, she's a stupidly powerful mage and force to be reckoned with, so her betrayal hurt Cornia a lot (Yahna especially) and is the reason why Elheim fell, Elves trusted her with the secret formula to pass through their magic forest, and she used that trust to invade the country. We also learn that she and Gary led the campaign in Drakengard/Drakenhold, but due to the way this game was written, we can't have any Drakengardian confront her about that (was she the one who killed King Hugo? Does Aramis remember her?).
I'll maybe write something about her being a parallel to Reimann later on - in the prologue, when she was a blue unit and on Ilenia's side, she called him out for joining the rebellion due to his personal interests, but it's basically what she does after Ilenia's death. There's a mention of her siding with Ilenia because she was Gerard's daughter, and she knows using Alain as a souljar would make Gerard upset (was she aware Virginia was hiding in Drakengard when she led her campaign there? Would it have changed a thing?) but the idea that Gerard could return is worth every sacrifice so here she goes.
I wouldn't be so sour about Alcina if the game didn't... force fed us the "sad uwus" at her death, without giving any voice to Rosalinde, or hell even Eltrinde herself during her final cutscene.
Oh well.
Next : furries Reimann's kingdom!
#unicorn overlord stuff#artbook stuff#typing this about Alcina made me realise that there's a lot of stuff that could have went with the Cornian Traitors#like was she aware Renault and Hodrick were brainwashed? Gary wasn't at all#granted she learns about the brainwash/soul hijacking process later on so was she aware or not?#and about Ilenia being Galerius' host?#It's too bad that the elf leaders don't have any special cutscene with the boss of elf land#Yahna is all rest in peace master but damn#I can understand her having mixed feelings about this situation#but why not giving us any insight about how eltrinde and rosalinde feel for finally getting rid of the one who betrayed them#and ruined their country?#hopefully in Bastorias Morard will have some lines with Eligor#I wonder if the devs played or heard about Tellius when they designed Bastorias and came up with the plot lol

All this talk of ABO, and werewolves, and ABO that should be werewolves, and WLW sexual politics as it relates to ABO werewolves tells me one important thing:
If any of us are trying to come up with some kind of fetish-based constructed society/societal norms, we should consult you first to see if it's goofy
I mean, the thing of it is, almost anything can work in that sense if you make it make sense.
"Smut doesn't have to make sense--" It actually has to to a certain degree, sorry to tell you.
And, no, this isn't in the case of 'oh, all porn has to have long, drawn-out scenes of two characters explicitly consenting or going through the motions of safe-sex', this is 'alright, if you're going to write about a tribe of orcs who can only reproduce by kidnapping humans and elves and giving them the business, you're going to have to at least give us a throwaway line as to either why there aren't any female orcs or who was the first orc to discover this.'
