So I've been trying to avoid saying too many selenopolis spoilers but oh my god this is crazy.

I have never been really creeped out by wizard101 until we got to selenopolis. The description of Konshu and how his moon magic completely destroys a person. Removes their identity leaving them a husk and leaves him able to rewrite their memories at any time.

So i got the idea from a video. There was a video of a youtuber playing the sims 4 and it was titled "The sims 4 gay chaos edition" and i decided to replace edition with wizard when making my wizard101 focused account

Wait. I think I’ve figured it out. Selenopolis story reveals:

- there is another human from earth in the spiral

- she uses she/her

- she arrived after the YW did

- her existence was revealed in *selen*opolis

It’s been staring at us in the face all along.

I have been in many mmo communities in my time and oh my god this kinda doomerism is so fucking rampet in every community. People will be like "this game is dead/dying" when the game is slightly less popular than it used to be, or like a bug is found and they are like "LOL GLITCHIEST GAME EVER BAD GAME" and it is so frusterating.

Speaking on this update yes it isn't pefect, i think the labors are dumb time wasters, i think the weaving spells are not really that good for pve which is the majority of players, and yes the bazaar changed sucked.

BUT! There is so much good about this update. Fun character call backs, a cool area with amazing lore, and while spell weaving isnt perfect right now it is a great foundation i hope KI does more with. I had to unfollow a youtuber who was so doomer about this update calling it "the worst update ever" and did a cringe ass live stream where he "roasted haters"

This kinda shit is so common in multiplayer game communities and i hate it.

wiztwt is so fucking doomer it’s insufferable. “are we entering the dark ages of wiz” what the fuck are you TALKING about. this was the greatest in-between arcs update by far with great reception. literally get a grip

can we talk about how khonsu, the villain who wanted to eradicate us, is the third person to correctly identify (under manipulation tactics) that the wizard has done and sacrificed more than enough for the spiral and we deserve to rest. for context the other two people who have said this exact sentiment are morganthe and grandfather spider, two other villains who wanted to eradicate us
