Your pictures are all so beautiful. I am sorry if you get this question a lot but what model of camera or phone do you use to take these pictures?
hey, thank you for your kind words! Actually I do not get asked this often, I currently have a Samsung EX2F (secondhand, it's survived an amazing amount of bouncing around in bike baskets), and a Redmi Note 11S. Often (but not always) if it's in 3:4 or 4:3 I took it on my phone, and 9:16 or 16:9 I took it with the camera.

one of my favorite parts about “old enough!” is when the audience can see the camera crew running full speed to keep up/keep ahead of the children who are running their first errands

Sometimes I think about the rich tableaus of experiences my parents and my spouse's parents had growing up in NYC and the rural mountain west respectively and I feel this deep sad pit of nothingness having grown up in a sterile surveillance state their generation helped build and enforce

this shoot was just so fucking bullshit i dont like being around those guys and it honestly just pissed me off to see all the equipment these people are working with... like oh right well it's awesome that u spent so much money for your little group to make appealing cool films and ur so weird about anybody else using it since it's Technically a club's but let's be fr.. and i was asked to run around up and down floors etc and this one kid was apparently being bitchy abt having to bc men can never not have a tantrum and like i had to go early with the director and dp and like was i on top of my game fucking look at my life NO but i was fine this crew was pretty fucking terrible at delegating and communicating and i feel like i almost retreated into that headspace of oh god this whole thing is going to shit and it's my fault bc things arent organized and theyre running late and that is a large part of my job but its like the first day and again im not even THERE for fucking half of it bc it's a student set and im being asked to run around. oh right early on everyone keeps saying yep we're getting ready and i ask if they need help w equipment and they say no and so im like fucking cool sitting there waiting for our call and steve is like Abby how are we on time and the room falls silent and i was like oh my fucking god. im being dramatic like it's whatever but dont micromanage me yk and then they were pretty nice but then partway through the shoot after we'd moved locations and i was getting nothing from the director/we were at a standstill i asked if she wanted me to go stand with our equipment till someone got back and she said yes so i did and was on my phone yes and steve came up to me like so i'd love it if you could stay with [director] more bc she's struggling with staying on time and i just think having someone to help her with that would be good and well. that's your job. basically. ohhhhh bitch i almost got mean... i responded with like yeah well this is what i was asked to do rn and im checking in with her but will for sure do that more. absolutely not getting any kind of vibe from anyone on this set though so. like dont sit here and tell me im not doing enough of my job... anyway i feel like no one knew what to do with me and i tried to be friendlyish and helpful etc and ik it was not my best day but jfc

I hate when twitch streamers are asked for streaming advice and they start talking about how you'll never get big ever and you need to have the 'right' reasons to get into it... like yeah the chances of blowing up are slim and if you're only thinking about getting views fast you'll probably get disappointed/bitter, but like why do so many streamers immediately go to the most negative 'advice' and don't try to encourage people at all? Streaming should be fun! You wanna start streaming? Go do it!! Don't put all your money into it and abandon everything on the small chance you'll get big of course, but if you wanna try it then try it! I'm sure when they give that advice they're trying to be realistic, but honestly it's just overly negative and turns that small chance of making it a job into a 0% chance because it's discouraging ppl from trying at all...

First sock knitting stream could be as early as tomorrow. Have some chores to do but they shouldn't take too long.

So, I learned there is a tool called a boo buddy. They look like stuffed animals like teddy bears, but are actually tools. They can detect electromagnetic frequencies (EMF), ask electronic voice phenomena (EVP) questions, and provide responses. It can also detect changes in temperature, vibrations, and changes of its own position.
It’s recommended to have a voice recorder and camera to record changes from the boo buddy during the investigation.
Supposedly, having something that may be familiar to the spirits like a teddy bear or stuffed animal can attract them.

I dont understand how hybe is providing 720p looking content rn, what camera did y'all switch to like what. The quality is so bad. Not even sure how this is possible in 2022
from what i’ve noticed about bangtan bombs (because i always have my camera knowledge hat on) they typically use a toss up between dslr cameras, camcorders, or smaller digital vlog cameras. and while all those things can shoot HD video in a pinch, a lot of the time they’re being used in low light and whoever is behind the camera rarely bothers to adjust the ISO settings or white balance, which results in lower quality footage and janky colors. of course i don’t expect them to be using high end documentary cameras all the time, but for the amount of money the company has and how much candid filming they do, it kind of blows my mind that they don’t use portable light sources or actually make use of the manual settings within the camera to make sure the footage is well-lit or adjusted to the setting they’re in. this is like…a really basic skill that doesn’t take much practice to be able to achieve. i also think the footage is being compressed a lot after editing before they upload, which doesn’t help either. idk man lol

people at work really genuinely trying to "kids these days" me backing out of the conversation SSOOOOO fast when I go "Yeah I know it sucks that the education system has been failing them in so many ways" LMFAO like yes hello we are fundamentally different people. she was like "Well yeah I guess. I do think the schools are thinking about implementing it (cursive) back into the ciriculum at least which will be good"
different co worker also tried to get me to side with the company for taking away our ability to use our discounts at the SCO bcus some employees were stealing. and I was just like. "Well thats stupid. not letting us use our discounts isn't go to lower over all employee theft rates at all. but it sure does make me less inclined to shop here because I hate waiting in line." and the Kombucha girl face journey she went on was very endearing tbh
