in a different comic, I wrote about about how cassius isn't a dog that needs to be tamed, but that depends on which side of the playing field you're on. if you're Caesar, Cassius is someone you need to leash down immediately, and the complicated social web of debt is one way to do it!

Cassius is inescapably tied to Brutus: the sandbox bond of childhood best friends, brothers-in-law with Servilia bringing Cassius into the family, and a third time with Brutus asking for Cassius' life. if you're going to bring a man who clawed his way out of a horrific defeat that killed your patron and later joined up with your rival in a civil war (twice aligned with the other two heads of the three headed monster you were a part of!) under your heel, reminding him of the only bond that could hope to rival with his family ancestry is one way to do it!

tbh, there's probably an additional subtext (there is, I was thinking about it) on how Crassus used 'softer' means than force to bind people to him (again, the politics of debt and patronage) and how Caesar takes after him in some ways here. it didn't last, tho. in 45 BCE Cassius voted against giving Caesar honors. ALWAYS! Fair warning though lots of my headcanons are closer to explanations for canon or filling in the gaps though ^_^

Charlie's final form of corrupted code skin (that we could see before the qsmp end) had some code on the slimecicle on his head, which I personally interpret as his chat! A little sentient slime with emotions that mirror his, and he takes it down from his head to hold whenever he talks to chat during a stream. He also (canonically!) had the code infection spread to his arms first through falling asleep holding codeflippa every night, so I think the infection spread to chat on his head since he kept holding it in his code-covered hands.

I also give him bomb scars from his original egg murder spree attempt, but when the code started taking over, they started getting corrupted with him! He also wears earings at all times lmao. Typically small black studs, but for fancy outfits he'll switch to gold studs, or if he's wearing a dress! Something more dangly and fun.

I've also talked about flippa being incredibly autism coded, and how I always picture/draw her with scuffed up skirts and dirt on her bright red gloves + boots she stole mariana, plus sooo many bandages and scars on her legs from scratches when playing around in the woods and messing with bugs (! Like how codeflippa really loved the cockroaches they captured for her task). I see all the crouching and running whenever she's excited as stimming, and turn it into her dragon tail wagging or her hands flapping really fast. I also gave her a matching broken horn with sunny, flippa's is on her left and sunny's is on her right, and when codeflippa showed up!, code "mended" the horn and there's visible glitching and code leaking from it. You can also typically see an underlying neon green glow coming from under any of the scales on her tail or cheeks, and the code will leak from those places too.

^ I go into all of this more in-depth in an unpublished fic I'll occasionally vauge about called "the breadcrumbs fic". I've been meaning to finish working on it for a WHILE, so maybe I throw on a vod in the background really quick and get to work :-) (also in that fic is an explanation on the buttons and patches on charlie's backpack he carries everywhere! they were made by flippa and tilin in my wonderful autism mind and he holds onto them with soooo much love. the paint also started chipping away at one point since they were hand-made so long ago, but he ignores it and pretends they're totally fine by painting over it. something something parallels to how he treats the code infection and codeflippa)

WELL there are some factors to HOW a specific alpha bulks up that plays into the squish of them. genetics alone means there's some variation already, but more than that is age. older alphas still bulk but will put on more fat and less muscle and many alphas who first present as teens have fluctuating ratios as their bodies learn to adjust to the hormones since it is another puberty after all.

wilson is more soft but he's solid, too. muscle growth is hidden under a layer of fat so by appearances he's teddy bear. soft and fluffy and cute. it's easy to forget he still does get some crazy alpha strength, too.

foreman is more 'brick' because he actually tends to go to the gym as an outlet for his rut while most alphas in the modern day go for sex and little else. foreman fucks, obviously, but he gets more longterm satisfaction from working out

now cuddy...... SHE'S the brick. given her administrative position she goes on rut leave earlier as to ensure the combative nature of a brain on rut doesn't contribute to a decision that could endanger the hospital, so she's kind of elusive to see bulked up. house, who naturally has seen her in that state before, does his best to be on his worst behavior before she goes on leave just to see if she'll use that strength on him (it's.... not sexual harrassment. but it's close)

they do swell, also, as a side effect of rut is increased blood production, so i guess there's always a degree of swelling (it also pads out the spaces where fat/muscle don't typically gather + ensures this sudden new weight gets a healthy supply)

Was considering buying (ridiculously overpriced) Sunny blu-rays to (very, very legally) rip them (for Personal Use archival purposes), decided to test on a blu-ray I already own, realized my external drive only reads DVDs, successfully ripped a DVD, but then was sent down a rabbit hole trying to see if I could use my (again, very, very legally) hacked PS3 to rip the .iso (I can) since it is indeed a blu-ray player with an attached PC-adjacent machine...

Long story short. If you see me spending $70 on seasons 1-5 on DVD and 6 on blu-ray, no you didn't, but also expect a 1080p season 6 bloopers upload in the near future.

FNAF FANARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!! DJ MUSIC MAN AND MUSIC MAN ARE NOT THE SAME CHARACTER

many times, when fnaf artists are requested to draw music man/dj music man, they get them mixed up!!! which is reasonable!!!!!!! we know almost nothing about them, google mixes them up constantly, and a certain matpat meme has only made it more confusing!

They all have very similar faces, but they've got some staggering differences!!!!! so im detailing them and also giving some trivia/our known knowledge of them!!!

MUSIC MAN (FFPS)

The OG music man! He made his debut in FFPS/Pizzeria Simulator and makes another appearance in UCN. He is!!! weird!!

He's not built like a spider-centaur, he's literally like a minecraft creeper with a torso and a bunch of legs at the bottom.

He's got a design unlike any other fnaf animatronic, even deviating from the style of the human ones, though this is speculated to be because he seems to have design elements from enemies and bosses from Scott Cawthon's other game, The Desolate Hope.

He's described to have "something undesirable" inside him (it's never explained what) and in the Posh Pizzeria group he is the only one to have a liability risk at times - in UCN he's the only one of the posh pizzeria that can and will kill you. Also, weirdly enough, in UCN he's the only animatronic other than the original Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy to use the FNAF 1 scream. Despite being called Music Man, his gimmick in UCN is that he hates noise and you need to keep it down for him to not kill you - music also counts as noise for him.

He's voiced by Matthew Curtis, who also voices nightmare Balloon Boy, here are his lines for UCN!

He's a party host who makes up all of his music on the spot, but in between sessions he cleans around the Plex! The reason why he goes nuts and tries to kill Gregory is that he has an experimental but prohibited bouncer mode that was turned on, which is why he's chill afterwards. He also doesn't speak, unlike Music Man.

BONUS: WINDUP MUSIC MAN (Security Breach)

Designwise they're almost identical to MM, but they look like they got microwaved and scraped across asphalt at mach 10. And also got a windup key stuck in their back. And TINY

Ingame they're described to be a prototype of Music Man that escaped the little museum part of the Plex, and that's all we really know. Other than that, their dynamic together is kind of comparable to a bunch of ants working together. They also JUMP and can be seen conversing/playing together.

ALSO: Those cymbals are not legs, they just have a really weird stance similar to actual tarantulas.

There's technically 394 Windup Music Men because the game randomly generates them from a collection of fucked up parts.

extra info below! (it's a lot)

Introductory Stuff! oviedo vasquez is an NCR ranger. he is stationed at the colorado cliffside at the order of the NCR, observing the legion through his rifle's scope. it is intended that the courier can meet oviedo while working the NCR questline, and can even elect him as a companion after completing his companion quest, MOON RIVER. oviedo can be swayed from the clutches of the NCR and into the courier's debt after the completion of his quest. he is a very faithful man, and very dangerous, too. he will stay by the courier's side unless they side with the legion, to which he will not tolerate them any longer. oviedo also has a long-lost daughter named cassandra; the last remnant of his past he desperately struggles to find. he doesn't talk much about her, nor his past... Personality Notes! oviedo is very blunt. he is standoffish at first and can be read as rude, but beneath that rough exterior is a very loyal, and very hurt, man.  the NCR has molded oviedo into a lethal sniper, thus he is potent with his weapon of choice and very resourceful out in the mojave. he's been with the NCR long enough to become a ranger. if you can stand his distance and periodic blunt insults, you'd find oviedo to be a very useful companion.  he cares about you. a lot. even if it seems like he doesn't. Character Design Notes! some notes on the Cool Dad Companion...... this info has been borrowed from his artfight profile, so some of the language is based around helping others draw him!

oviedo has four jagged scars on the right side of his face. they trail down his neck and stop before his collarbone

BONUS: Companion Quest and Perk? Huh? MOON RIVER is oviedo's companion quest! working the NCR's questline, the courier can meet oviedo at his post by the colorado river. he'll ignore you until you mention you've been ordered to work with him, and he really cannot ignore his orders. the legion is planning an attack on the NCR encampment across the river - or so is the NCR's hunch. they need someone inconspicuous to retrieve proof of this hunch, and that someone is you, of course! totally not because oviedo wants to be left alone and so he sends you into the legion incognito, risking your life - nope, not at all! under oviedo's guidance and sniper protection, the quest is easily completed. the pair of you present your findings together afterwards. oviedo will then pull you aside and be honest with you, informing you of how you'd overcome his expectations and that he is in your favor. now you can travel together! the courier can also complete MOON RIVER without working the NCR questline. to do this, you can find oviedo at his post by the colorado river and pass a few incremental speech checks. if speech checks fail, the courier can persuade him with charms using the black widow or confirmed bachelor perks. oviedo is... kind of a hopeless romantic and likes praise. so yeah. HAHAH if the courier has a negative reputation with the NCR (i.e. legion build) then oviedo will shoot at you before you can get too close. just... instantly aggro'ed by scent I suppose? EYES OF THE HAWK is oviedo's companion perk. it is a VATS enhancement. while traveling with oviedo, you have increased VATS chances of 50% using a scoped weapon, or increased VATS chances of 30% using a non-scoped weapon. Trivia!

I think these are considered "headcanons"? I'm not entirely sure but here we go.

Meg had bought Dan a walkman for his birthday which he could put cassettes in. So ever since then, he started to buy more music so now he has a whole cupboard in his room full of (mostly) The Talking Heads CDs and cassettes. Herbert only recently discovering Dan's love for music, but he doesn't really care for it that much. In some instances while Herbert is working in the basement downstairs, he can hear Dan's vibrations from him singing and dancing from above. Usually he storms upstairs, pulls his headphones off and throws the walkman on a nearby cushion or couch (because if he broke it he would know he would be in for it. Plus Meg had given the walkman to Dan). He yells at him, "Turn off that horrible music don't you know I'm trying to work?? If you have nothing else to do why don't you join me." Then he drags him to the basement while Dan looks like a sad puppy.

But on special occasions (when he makes sure Dan is asleep) he takes a few of Dan's CDs and his portable CD player into the basement and plays them on the lowest volume he can manage. He does this either to figure out what the hell Dan listens to or to genuinely listen to it so he can think of him.

One day, Dan drags Herbert out to the record store so he could buy more cassettes. He says he was going to buy music for Herbert as well, which he reluctantly scoffed. He gave him a Cyndi Lauper CD as a joke (quick trivia! which album did Cyndi release in 1983?) which Herbert threw back to him sputtering angry remarks and caused people to look at the two in the store. Dan did get Herbert Oingo Boingo and Kraftwerk after all that which he wasn't too excited about. But Herbert did learn to love his music that Dan picked for him overtime.

Here's a bonus one. On the special occasion where Dan convinces Herbert to sleep (which he didn't know Herbert already took a shot of reagent beforehand) he just ends up rambling to Dan while he cuddles him. Things such as "Daniel there are over 60,000 miles of blood vessels in your body", "Dan can you feel the nerve here in your wrist?" and etcetera. Usually things Dan knows because he too is a doctor but not a "scientist" like Herbert says. He doesn't say anything about it though he usually lets Herbert ramble until his words become incoherent and sleepy.

As you probably are aware, the current event is important for Saito, one of the MMJ side characters. However she hasn’t been a hugely prominent side character before now, so here’s a post of everything you need to know about her before reading the new event.

Saito is first introduced in the MORE MORE Making Xmas event story, as one of the volunteer staff at MMJ’s first fanmeet. She’s a longtime fan of Shizuku’s, and even refers to her as her goddess.

Saito’s given name is Ayaka. She’s 20 years old (presumably 21 post-3rd anni) and is currently attending university.

Ayaka reappears in Dear Me, As I Was Back Then, working as staff on MMJ’s first solo live. In this event, she reveals that she’s been working part-time at a production company. After working at the fanmeet, she realised she wanted to work as a talent manager for idols, and has been studying how to become one.

As some bonus trivia, her hobby is watching idol concerts, her favorite food is pork cutlets, and her least favorite food is oysters.

the parking lots, and the buildings themselves, take up So Much Space, and a lot of it is empty. The ROADS take up so much space. the big building with the white roof at center left is a Walmart. At least the suburbs have some vegetation.

It takes 33 minutes to walk. Not too bad if you're in good shape and only picking up a couple things. There are sidewalks, and the road crossings don't look too dangerous.

In the summer, however, this would be miserable, since it is treeless grass with heat boiling up off the pavement. In July and August, the average July and August temperatures in Elizabethtown are 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees celsius) but in Kentucky it regularly goes up to 95, which is gonna be a yikes from me.

What is this character checklist about? It's just a list of things that the characters are most likely to do or prefer. But it is set in a modern AU (alternate universe) setting.

Making snow ducks is a trend in Korea. They use plastic tongs with a duck mold to create snow ducks. Some treat is a game where you make dozens of it fast as if printing out items in a factory, and line it up in a row.
