a lil sneak peak for the next part of ex husband nanami x reader:
Dating Nanami was different than any other man you’ve been with. He was a gentleman in the truest sense. The dates consisted of quaint dinners, where you learned that he was a foodie who had quite an adventerous palette. Morning walks in the park where you slowly witnessed how his initial rigid appearances softened under the blue sky and sun. The first time he cracked a genuine smile in front of you, you found yourself buckling at your knees. He was so incredibly handsome but didn’t seem to realize it himself. You would catch the way his gaze fell to your lips mid-conversation, your heart beating wildly in your chest with anticipation…but Nanami didn’t kiss you until your twelfth date (and yes, you kept count).
The longer he courted you, the more you found yourself falling deeper and deeper into the clutches of a blossoming romance.
You were falling for him, and falling terribly hard.
#some backstory & steamy steam#will update this next then move onto the chapter of twylm <3#alright I'm logging off for now!

I think aos spirk has their fiery / steamy moments (hello, making out against the sink in the shared bathroom), probably not getting to do anything for a week bc some shitfit of a mission and then basically not being able to get their hands off each other, but they’re also tender I think — and not the same way as tos spirk, who I feel is tender because of the lived-in nature of their relationship, where their love deepens — but with aos spirk, I think the tenderness comes from kind of discovering new ways to love each other (making each other smile, bickering but not really, etc ) and loving each other for it
Ohhhh YESSS, ANON. You are absolutely NAILING IT. AOS Spirk is this whole different breed of fire and tenderness, and I am LIVING for it. Lets unpack this because you’re 100% right—their relationship is like this wild storm of emotions, but it’s also about them learning each other, figuring out new ways to connect, and god, it’s BEAUTIFUL.
First off, you’re absolutely right about the fiery moments. AOS Spock and Jim? These guys are volatile sometimes. There’s so much heat between them, it’s almost unbearable. Like, it makes total sense they’d have these moments of just being unable to keep their hands off each other, like they’ve been holding back for WEEKS because Starfleet has been throwing mission after mission at them. And then? BOOM. They get five seconds alone and suddenly it’s a tangle of limbs, kisses so hard it leaves marks, hands gripping wherever they can just to ground themselves in each other’s presence. OH, and the bathroom sink scenario? ABSOLUTELY. That’s prime real estate for all that pent-up frustration, but in the hottest, most desperate way.
But what I love about AOS Spirk is that they’re not just passion and steam. Like you said, there’s a very real tenderness that sneaks in, and it’s different from TOS Spirk in such a beautiful way. With AOS, these two are still figuring out how to be with each other, right? They’re young, they’re a little more raw around the edges, and they’re still kind of navigating what love looks like for them. So you get this really sweet contrast between their fiery moments and those soft, tentative ones where they’re kind of like, “Hey, I didn’t know I could love someone like this.”
It’s in those little moments where you see the tenderness shine through—like Jim watching Spock in rare quiet moments, just soaking in how beautiful he is, or Spock softening just a little when Jim makes him smile with some dumb quip. And OH MY GOD, the bickering? ICONIC. Like, they’re constantly pushing each other’s buttons, but underneath it, there’s this affection. They’re not really fighting—they’re flirting. Jim’s all, “Come on, Spock, admit it—you think I’m hilarious,” and Spock’s like, “Your attempts at humor are illogical, but… acceptable,” and it’s so CUTE because you can tell Spock is holding back a smile the whole time.
And because they’re still learning each other, they stumble into these new ways of showing love. Like, maybe Jim doesn’t realize at first that Spock needs those quiet moments together, where they just sit in silence and breathe, and when he does realize it, he starts to initiate those moments more. Or maybe Spock starts to understand that Jim needs physical affection—those little touches on the shoulder, the brush of fingers—and he starts doing it without even thinking about it. It’s so new for them, this kind of tenderness, but it’s genuine and deep, even if they’re still figuring out how to express it.
And THAT is where the heart of AOS Spirk lies—the tenderness isn’t necessarily from years of being together (like TOS Spirk), but from the sheer joy of discovering that they can love each other this way. That’s what makes it so different, so fresh. They’re not just learning to love each other—they’re learning to let themselves be loved, which is HUGE for both of them, given their backstories and emotional walls. It’s like they’re carving out this little space in their chaotic lives for something soft and safe, and it’s so freaking beautiful, I want to cry.
So yeah, you nailed it. AOS Spirk has the fire, but they also have this delicate, fragile tenderness that comes from learning to love each other in real-time. And it’s not the same as TOS, but it’s just as meaningful, because it’s all about finding those small moments of joy and affection amidst the chaos. And I think that’s what makes them so special. ❤️

So I deleted my post about Nia and Rebecca. Why?
Because, jeez, I was harsh on these two. I love them a lot now, especially Rebecca. TuT
I still stand on the fact that their introductions were just bad. They literally said that they are just there to fill in the empty space. Gender equality, my butt. They have some good episodes and moments (Chucklesome Trucks, Counting on Nia, and Thomas' Animak Ark, just to name a few) but its not enough to overcome the introductions and the heavy marketing of the Steam Team.
In EoSR, Rebecca gets to keep her slipping issues as it was an actual problem with the (unrebuilt) Battle of Britians and West Countries. This is why I should do my research first. 💀 She's also going to keep her original personality. She grew on me. (•◡•) The only major changes would be her backstory (which she didn't even have one to begin with, so its technically giving her one), introduction, and design. She still arrives before Nia does.
As for Nia, her design and backstory change. Nia arrives not long after Rebecca enters service. I finally have her backstory figured out! Trivia: Nia never lived in Tidmouth Sheds, like Oliver and a few other engines from the "Tidmouth Steamies" (which is never said in the story, I promise. Just a different name to call my version of the "Steam Team). She lived in Wellsworth Sheds before moving to a shed built specifically for her at the Sodor Animal Park.
The numbers are different, btw! Rebecca is NWR 30 and Nia is NWR 33. This is subject to change, which I'm hoping doesn't happen but who knows. I already had to change a ton of stuff around when I added a major event, so it could happen.
World building is great.

HD Sudsfest: Week Three
Wow, what a week!! We're thrilled to round out the third week of Sudsfest 2022 with these incredible fics and works of art. If you haven't had a chance to enjoy them yet, what are you waiting for? The bathwater's warm...
[ART] After Hours by @melcarrianna { E, Digital art }
After a long day full of photo shoots Draco and his photographer take advantage of the giant bath from their last shoot to work off some tension. Suds aren’t the only things getting into places.
❤️ "They are both so beautiful, first of all. I love how muscular they are, I love their skin tones, I love the background. I love Draco's nipple, as well. I love it all." —Rhyebony
❤️ "...whoa. This is gorgeous!! And so so hot and steamy 😶🌫️🥵 I love this so so much!! The way you drew them. They’re so perfect and intimate!" —Clueless_Pigeons
[FIC] Tom Crup Gets a Bath by @myrtlefics/ CreepingMyrtle { T, 1.3k }
When Draco Malfoy graciously opens his home to an absolute disaster of a crup, there’s only one place to turn for help: Harry’s Crup Care: Quality Care for Calamitous Crups. Trained and Certified by Warbeck Kennels- Yes, those Warbeck Kennels!
❤️ "Oh I loved this so so much!! It was funny and sweet and your Draco voice was perfect!!! I am obsessed with this lost little crup." —nv-md
❤️ "oh my god!!! Draco's inner monologue was cracking me up! Bless you for picking this prompt, what a gem." —InnerLilith
[ART] Room to Explore by @julcheninred/ julchen_in_red { T, Paper Art and Embroidery }
In an ancient castle heavy with past and prophecy, a place to begin anew is an unexpected gift.
❤️ "The mermaid lore and take on the Prefects’ bathroom is so novel and fascinating. Oh wow the embroidery work is gorgeous. The lightness it brings to the room is palpable." —Romaine
❤️ "I find myself getting lost in the detailed patterns, especially the swirls of the roses... The composition is also fantastic. I love where you put Harry and Draco. The whole thing keeps my eyes moving from the boys to the faucets to the embroidery and back again. The fic reinforces everything in the piece giving the perfect backstory to this scene." —m4g0rtz
[FIC] of course i cum fast, i’ve got a snitch to catch by @swoontodeath / swoons { E, 7.5k }
Strangest of all, Potter never lasts more than two minutes — and that’s if Draco’s being really, really generous with his time-keeping. It should be off-putting, but Draco’s just intrigued. Perhaps that’s why he’s watched Potter wank in the showers so often.
❤️ "Amazing, funny, perfectly steamy! I loved!!!" —citrusses
❤️ "This is the most obsessive, hilarious thing ever. Peeping Tom Draco might just be my new favorite 😆... This was exquisite." —Schmem_14
[ART] Immerse your soul in love by @maesterchill { M, Digital Art }
After a particularly bad full moon spent in the forests of Glenmore, Potions Professor Draco Malfoy brews himself strong potions to heal his wounds. He must immerse himself fully twice a month as the moon wanes, in water as hot as he can bear. This thing he has going on with Professor Potter is new, and mostly physical—make that all physical—and so Draco is more than a little uncertain about asking Potter to stay in his quarters while he bathes. In the cold, brittle light of morning everything between them feels far too vulnerable and stripped bare. The medicinal bathwater stings but Potter soothes him with gentle words, washes him with careful hands, and dries him with a soft towel. And they talk, finally, about the war, about their guilt, and about how very, very long they’ve been in love with one another.
❤️ "Oh, so lovely and tender and intimate! I love the tones in this, and the body language is beautiful." —gracerene
❤️ "Oh wow, the emotion in this! The care! Harry's white butt! The light coming through the window is gorgeous, lighting up the steam from the bath! The pose is so strikingly vulnerable, for both of them. My heart! What a piece!" —lq_traintracks
[FIC] but first, we fight by @nv-md/ nv-md (ANW815) { M, 8.1k }
Fighting with Draco Malfoy has never been quite this thrilling...or this frustrating. Harry's always horny, Draco's in denial, and there simply isn't enough time in the day to fight crime and watch your ex-archnemesis wash his arse. Or what it's like to be in love with Draco Malfoy and have to see him naked in the goddamn shower.
❤️ "...this is completely divine. One of the best things I've read in a long time. You captured them PERFECTLY—as always—and gave us the perfect balance of angst and fluff. The perfect amount of heartbreak, and the perfect resolution of love and satisfaction..." —Phoebe_Delia
❤️ "You deserve a hall of fame trophy for the sexual tension. The fighting is so well observed and it is scorching." —skeptique
[ART] Under (Water) Pressure by @sugareey-makes-stuff { E, Digital Art }
A shower wasn't going to provide a resolution to their latest row, but right now, Draco didn't care. Not when a wet and naked Harry kissed him hard on the mouth, making the filthiest sounds as they pressed their bodies firmly against each other.
❤️ "There's such a beautiful tension to their positions; you totally capture that moment of utter desperation right before it slides into relief. As always, your use of shading conveys so much energy, and in this case it captures the neediness of the prompt beautifully. Stellar work" —PalenDrome (nerdherderette)
❤️ "I am dying! This is exquisite!!! The intensity, the passion you’ve captured is off the charts" —MysticKitten42
[FIC] A Healing Bath by @cluelesspigeons { T, 2.3k }
When Harry gets injured on an Auror mission, he is forced to take a bath so his wounds will heal better. Unfortunately, Harry doesn't like baths. At all.
❤️ "LUFF! I am a puddle of feelings. This is such a heart-soother. I can’t seem to get enough of this" —HP_fanfics17
❤️ "Of course this fic is good! Omg I love it! 😍❤️ It's so sweet and domestic..." —Nelween
[FIC] The love you no longer seek by @teacup-tai / Tainara_Black { M, 1.3k }
Harry’s smile is small and painful. His head lolls to the side to watch Draco with such deep emotion, such a turmoil, such confusion. “Come here,” Harry whispers, voice deep, palm turning up, hand reaching towards his husband.
❤️ "This was heartbreaking and the contrast to the tenderness and how much they love each other made it even more so." —KatIsSleeping
❤️ "Oh this is gorgeous and heartbreaking. How the relationship ends not with fights and screaming but in such a tender moment. My heart shattered for both of them. This is beautiful, well done." —Basicallyahedgehog
[FIC] the shape of memory by @hogwartsfirebolt { T, 3k }
Harry's brush with death has left consequences. Thankfully, Draco is there to help him navigate the uncertain waters of his mind.
❤️ "The emotions you convey through everything just makes my heart melt. The scenery and how Harry's mind is built is just so very beautiful, with the idea that it always stays the same, as a forest. Draco is just so smitten and caring in this… thank you for sharing this delicate and dazzling piece." —Bubblegumhead
❤️ "This was so moving !! the idea that harry will always come back to draco is so beautiful." —verygaydrarry
[FIC] On The Shore by @skeptiquewrites { T, 3k }
Draco takes up wild swimming. Harry joins him.
❤️ "This was incredibly lovely and breathtaking as usual. I love your grip on these characters, the comforting quietness of their interactions, the soft nuances, the uncomplicated get together and overall mature, contemplative mood." —sitp
❤️ "Ohhh I loved this so much! The atmosphere and quietness and Harry’s question at the end— you’ve captured the entire experience of winter swimming and years of vibes all at once." —CreepingMyrtle
[ART] The Next Morning, Somewhere in Paris by @gryffindorhearts { T, Digital Art }
Their first year as fully-fledged Aurors hasn't been easy, to say the least. Being partners with Draco (in more ways than one) has been full of surprises, both wonderful and infuriating. Not to mention hunting down dark wizards, uncovering dangerous artifacts, and the endless stream of Ministry paperwork. Their latest mission took them racing through the alleyways of Paris for four days straight. Finally, they found reprieve amongst the golden tiles and cool porcelain of an ensuite with a view of the Seine. Harry doesn't know what street they're on, nor could he even recall the name of the hotel. But one thing is for certain: taking a chance on Draco was the best idea either of them has ever had.
❤️ "This is so soft and beautiful and that little heart-shaped bubble just made me melt!" —Krethes
❤️ "I LOVE THIS! OMG the soft kisses and Harry's arms around Draco, and the story of how long it's taken them to get here…FABULOUS!! It's so so so good, simply superb!!!" —nv-md

🐚 ┆ in which you and thoma finally get to visit the hot springs he’s been longing for.
cw┆suggestive content, so minors dni! not explicit, but still mature. just… very steamy (no pun intended) gender neutral reader.
happy 500, here’s some borderline filth ;)
“Remind me… was it to the left of the sakura tree on the hill or the right?” you ask, positioning the plane of your hand along your browbone to ward off the rays of the setting sun.
Thoma catches up behind you, and you can’t help but notice the sheen of sweat along his forehead from the hike. “To the right,” he confirms with a breathless huff.
“Thanks,” you say, “As excited as I am to visit these hot springs, you could’ve stood to mention that they were in the middle of nowhere. I feel like I’ve been walking for years.”
The young man barks out a chuckle. “The good hot springs aren’t gonna be in the middle of Inazuma City, y’know,” he replies, resuming the trek, “It’s the ones that are situated just above volcanic openings deep in the earth that are the best.”
“Blah,” you pretend-gag, “I was expecting a nice sunset hot springs session with my boyfriend, not a marathon hike and a science lesson.”
This once again earns a laugh from Thoma. “Yikes, okay!” he surrenders, “If you must know, I usually come here after training to ease muscle tension, so it does indeed exist and it is indeed the real deal.”
You have to snap yourself out of the heat rising to your cheeks at that revelation. Thoma shedding his clothes and wading into a steaming pool, tilting his head back so the skin of his neck accentuates his adam’s apple, a deep sigh of pleasure escaping his lips as the water eases his tension… Your mind can’t help but swim with these perverted thoughts.
What else could he be getting up to while immersed in steaming water where there isn’t a trace of civilization for miles…?
No, no, snap out of it. You haven’t so much as kissed him and now you’re dreaming up filthy fantasies that would no doubt send him packing if he could read your mind. In this moment, you thank the archons that Thoma is hiking behind you, because if he could see the embarrassed expression across your face, you’d never hear the end of it.
It’s not that Thoma was particularly prudish. In fact, Ayato and Ayaka’s constant well-meaning teasings of when he’s going to make a move would suggest otherwise. Of course, the sinking feeling that his past partners were further along at this point in time than you would come back to haunt you every now and then. Perhaps you can blame the stress of the Vision Hunt Decree for the slow start of your partnership.
Beginning a relationship during Thoma’s hiding wasn’t all that easy, either. It began with a couple of jokes and smiles as you, a server at the Komore Teahouse and closeted critic of the Shogun, would bring the fugitive leftover tea and cakes. Soon after, he’d grasp your hand before you left and ask you to keep him company for a bit. You understood well enough the immense stress and loneliness he was under. Usually, you babbling about a crabby customer or a mishap with Taroumarou over a steaming cup of jasmine tea would be enough for Thoma to fall asleep on your shoulder with a faint smile pulling at his lips. He just wanted company, you figured, and you were more than willing to do that for him.
In return, Thoma would tell you stories during the slower hours of business and late at night when you were packing shipments. He was from Mondstadt, he revealed quite early. It’s not that this was all that much of a shock. He certainly looked different than his usual companions and his happy-go-lucky attitude rivaled only that of a Mondstadtian bard drunk on dandelion wine, song, and company. Despite your goading him towards a more in-depth backstory, the young man only gave you a smile and promised that if you kept coming back, one day you’d get your answer.
He mentioned that he was notably fond of the Inazuma landscape. Mentioned, actually, doesn’t quite cut it. He sighed his praises of the falling sakura petals in the springtime, the rush of the water tumbling down the cragged peaks of Watatsumi... But most of all, he playfully whined about some particular hot spring somewhere in the hills of Mount Yougou. Thoma swore up and down that this pool was the product of paradise, and that one day, if - no, when - he gets out, he’d take you there.
Now, just a matter of days after his liberation, you find yourself standing at his side overlooking a softly bubbling spring with cherry blossom petals laying idle atop the surface.
“Worth the work, huh?” Thoma asks, placing his hands on his hips.
You blink, taken aback by the view. “Your stories of this spot certainly match the actual thing.”
The young man laces his hand, calloused and chiseled from his years of work and training, into your own, giving a squeeze.
“What are you waiting for?” he prompts, shooting you a smile of what is no doubt glee, “There’s enough space for two.”
With that, he nonchalantly begins to discard his clothes, shrugging off his jacket and curling his fingers under the hem of his tight shirt. He glances over at you, noticing you’ve gone still.
“Is... something the matter?”
Of course, something’s the matter, you think, your blood rushing to your head and drumming against the confines of your skull, I didn’t quite expect you to begin stripping as if it’s second nature.
“I just...” you find yourself at a loss for words, “Just waiting a sec.”
Thoma is no idiot, that’s for certain. The now half-naked man in front of you cocks an eyebrow and folds his unused clothes with the utmost care. “[Y/N], I’ve never seen you flustered,” he teases, watching you go tense, “What, did you expect me to bathe fully clothed?”
That there is the icing on the cake for your embarrassment. You quickly recoil and your mouth opens to interject. Your words are cut off by his familiar hearty chuckle.
“[Y/N]!” he play-scolds, unbuttoning his pants, “I didn’t take you for a pervert! I assumed we’d be bathing in our undergarments. ‘Course, if you had a different idea, I encourage you to use your words.”
You shake your head, trying to steady your heart from your startled reaction. “Oh, duh,” you laugh, your fingers finding the ribbon fastening your robe, “And, ah, for the record, I wasn’t thinking anything dirty. Promise.”
Thoma shakes his head, pulling the pants from his ankles. “I wouldn’t mind if you had been.”
You shrug off your robe and place the garment in Thoma’s extended hand, who folds it and places it on the rock next to his own pieces. Now you two stand in your underwear, looking as if you were a couple uprooted from your own intimate world.
The blond is a sight to behold in his near-nude form. He’s athletic, of course you knew that much, but the way the evening sun lights his body illuminates the shadows of his toned muscles and brings a certain warm glow to the high points of his body. Your mind wanders to the thought of him practicing his fighting stances- the way his arm muscles expand and contract with each jab, how his face tightens with the motions, the ragged rise and fall of his bare chest once he’s satisfied with his work. In that moment, you could swear you were some artist in a past life, intent on studying his every form and filling pages upon pages with carefully-drawn sketches of your muse.
Thoma is the first to step into the springs, immediately sighing at the contact of the water against his skin. He quickly navigates himself to a small ledge and settles in, almost as if he’s done this a million times before. You follow suit, albeit wincing at the heat instead of rejoicing, and find a spot to sit just left of your boyfriend.
“This is what I’ve been needing,” he hums, closing his eyes and inhaling the natural steam wafting off of the bubbling pool.
You slowly begin to ease into the heat, the warm water enveloping your skin and nurturing any tension you had attained during your journey uphill. The sakura trees overhead sway gently in the cool breeze signaling the coming nightfall, the loose petals tumbling one by one into the clear waters. From your altitude, you can see the Inazuma coast far below, the waves crashing against the sugar sands and retracting, only to repeat and repeat this motion so long as the moon deems fit.
Thoma, however, is the most enchanting sight to behold.
His eyelids have fluttered shut in pleasure, bringing your attention to just how long and delicate his eyelashes are. Your gaze descends to his lips, pink, plush, and slightly parted, looking almost like a sleeping maiden from a folk tale. His posture is lax, almost similar to his state of sleep, yet his upper body rises and falls ever so slowly.
“I can feel you staring, [Y/N],” he murmurs, opening his left eye just enough to get a glimpse of you.
You shake your head. “I’m sorry to disturb you.”
“You’re not a disturbance,” he counters, sitting up with a sigh, “If anything, your presence makes this experience all the better.”
A feather of a smile crosses your lips. You bring your eyes to the view spread out for you two. “It’s beautiful, Thoma,” you say quietly, “Everything.”
He smiles to himself, his eyes trained on you as you once again look at him. “It’s truly rewarding to share something special to me with you and you appreciating it this much,” he states.
You sigh. “Thank you, Thoma.”
The young man laughs softly, and you note his chartreuse eyes haven't ceased their raking over your face and your form time and time again, almost as if trying to memorize the exact state you’re in.
“If you’d like, we could come here all the time,” he proposes, his line of sight meeting your lips, “Just you, me, and all of Inazuma at our fingertips. I could swipe some sake from the Kamisatos’ kitchen and we could get drunk and stare at the stars and exchange stories until daybreak. So long as you say the word, I’ll be there.”
“I’ve never expected you to be a poet,” you chuckle, noticing the closing gap between your bodies and the brush of his fingers against your bare thigh as they settle into place.
He drops his head and shakes it. “I didn’t either.”
The world falls silent except for the rustle of the flora and the gentle simmering of the water. You and your lover’s gaze has yet to diverge from one another.
Thoma’s fingers gently hitch themselves under the curve of your chin, raising your face to his with all the caution of a child building a house of cards.
“May I kiss you?” he whispers.
You don’t even bother to reply. You tilt your head and slot your lips against his own, feeling everything that’s been building over the last month fall into place in one swift motion.
His lips are softer than you expected. The kiss is innocent, fulfilling. You feel your hands slide over his shoulders, providing yourself some sort of leverage to draw you closer to him so that you can feel his bare skin against your own.
It doesn’t take long before his curiosity builds, prompting him to deepen the kiss with the addition of his tongue, strong yet gentle all at once, and longing sighs in the scattered moments that your lips are apart. His hands begin to wander, his left delicately placing itself along your chest and the right hand previously installed on your thigh beginning to faintly trail up to the junction between your legs, coaxing a gasp of bliss from your lips.
Your curiosity, too, quickly turns into a conquest of lust, and you find yourself deliriously moving yourself to straddle his lap, your hands planing down the muscular surface of his chest. Thoma draws his lips back from your own, the natural pink hue now turned nearly raspberry and glossed with a sheen of your saliva. His eyes, half-lidded yet with all the same liveliness you remember, peer up at you with a certain haze of lust swimming across the surface, adjusting to the sight of you mostly-naked atop his lap, drunk on his touch and caressing his bare chest with your hands.
He fixes his lips to the crook of your neck, littering tender kisses along the taut skin. You know well enough that you’ll awake to a field of plum-colored marks, but that thought is quickly set aside to fade as you bring down your pelvis to his groin, drawing forward against his clothed crotch as you dig your fingers into his hair and shudder with pleasure.
Thank Celestia this place was in the middle of nowhere.

Some thoughts on the first 4 routes of Olympia Soirée
Ok, I've finally finished the first 4 routes, good and bad endings (though I have yet to check all the memoirs) and I figured I'd do a little review before I move onto Himuka and Akaza.
My play order wasn't the recommended one since I just wanted to start with the boy I vibed with in the common route (Kuroba!), so I ended up doing Kuroba - Riku - Yosuga - Tokisada. I wouldn't say it ruined my experience - if anything I liked doing Tokisada's route last as it delved deeper into some of the games' antagonists arcs.
For people who want to go from the least to most emotionally heavy routes, the recommended Riku-Tokisada-Yosuga-Kuroba order is the best option. It should be said that all routes so far deal with some heavy topics of discrimination, fantasy racism/classism, rigid traditional gender roles and so on, and some routes feature dubcon and SA, so that's something to be aware of if you're thinking of picking this up.
With that said, here's some opinions!
The common route was surprisingly lengthy and didn't have any choices, however I really enjoyed it and thought it was well paced. I enjoyed just experiencing the story without stressing out about which guy I would end up with. The journey of Olympia from "a doll" to a person capable of making friends, learning about the world and relating to others was great and she got more development in the common route than Steam Prison's Cyrus got in the entire game (I can't help but compare these games as the premise is similar) Like everyone else I did get annoyed by repetitive flashbacks - they weren't quite as common in character routes but happened enough to be irritating. I'm also not super keen on the sidekick (sorry Daifuku) but I realise Olympia needed someone to talk at. Plus, their backstory was quite cute.
I did find Olympia's personality a little inconsistent at times, as she went from being forward and assertive (and fun) in Riku's and Tokisada's route to a typical timid MC with Kuroba and Yosuga.
As for LIs, I'm gonna discuss spoilers in all 4 initial routes, so don't click if you haven't played them all :)
Ok, here we go.
Riku
PRECIOUS BABY.
Seems like many enjoyed Riku's route, I did too. In a classical tsundere fashion he made a terrible first impression, but after seeing his softer side in Kuroba's route I was intrigued and wanted to learn more about him. (on that note, can we talk about how he's almost absent in everyone's routes? I guess unlike someone like Kuroba he doesn't make for a fun quirky side character, but still..would've been nice) I feel like the story lingered for ages on Olympia trying to figure out his identity but once Riku became an actual character in his story things really picked up.
I loved his backstory, loved his chemistry with Olympia and loved seeing him grow as a person. That final conflict resolution was extremely random (RANDOM WAVE just washed the bad guy away? alright), but I'm starting to think none of the writers actually know how to conclude a story because it just seems to be a Thing that happens with everyone.
Tokisada
I left Tokisada for last because I really couldn't get myself to play a route with a guy that looks 12. In the end, I did like his route - I loved the moment he accepted his role as a professinal wifeguy. Go you, Tokisada :') His CGs were really nice and steamy but they definitely aged him up (he even sounded different) during those moments for things to be less weird, which makes me wonder...why make him look and sound like a little kid in the first place? I know he's on his coming of age arc, but still.
One of the things I found most fascinating in this route was Kanan and Kaina's relationship and Kanan's revelation that a certain bodypart fell off from haku?? And i was like..no...it can't be..and then I got to the bad ending. And apparently there's more on that in the memoir which I've not read. As expected, the conflict was kinda poorly resolved with Kanan never really getting the punishment he deserves. This game really doesn't like killing people in good endings (unless they don't have sprites i guess)
I would like to nominate Bad Ending with Kanan here as the most fucked up one in the entire game 8) I love a bad ending that isn't just sad, but also kinda twisted and makes you go "wait what...HOW?? WHY???" and that one was definitely it.
Yosuga
Ah, Yosuga. I wanted to like you so much. You were so fun in everyone else's routes. Alas I'm afraid Yosuga works better as a wingman for me.
I mean, I suspected he has a dark backstory and I actually liked the actual resolution with The Baddies not actualy being The Baddies. And I liked his connection to Olympia through Tsukuyomi.
But the incident on Tennyu island, and then him holding an actual grudge over women of the white killing some purple guy seemed so illogical and gross and not consistent with the rest of his personality. I could understand him having a deathwish and being depressed and traumatised, but it could have been handled better - maybe if Olympia actually stood up to him? This is also where Olympia's "hair colour change for yes, murder for no" as a replacement for concent became pretty tiresome.
There were some touching moments later but I never quite pieced together what he's like as a person in the end.
Weirdly enough I really liked one of the bad endings. It was..probably one of the spiciest scenes in the entire game so far?? I swear to god, Olympia actually voices her wishes for once and then they fuck and I guess she kills him off-camera which doesn't seem like her, but also. It was hot, so I'll allow it. Sorry, Yosuga.
Kuroba
Favourite Boy in a Non-Favourite Route.
Like I said, I loved Kuroba since his very first appearance. I'm in the minority in that I like his design the most (idk i like his short hair, makes him stand out? and his expressions are so cute? and he's handsome more than he's cute?? also The Voice) and i like flirty characters as long as being flirty isn't the only thing I've got going for them. In Kuroba's case the flirtiness was definitely just a superficial trait and he was funny and smart and capable. His first half of the route was a lot of fun with all their little courtship and dates, and then... it kinda got ruined.
I still don't know why Kuroba had to dramatically proclaim how he's using Olympia. I thought he was roped into it but I don't think he was? And after the whole Nagusa thing happened he was really inappropriately posessive/aggressive which pissed me off a bit. He definitely redeemed himself later and that CG with him kneeling in front of Olympia was adorable. As always the story did not resolve in a 100% satisfying way with Nagusa not getting what he deserves - it made me pretty angry.
I would be ok with Nagusa living if he got Tokijikutan Ne treatment for his haku. Surviving and yet losing every stupid superficial thing he cared about? That'd be amazing. But no, I guess we can't have that. (I actually forgot exactly what happened with him towards the end...guess I should've been taking notes)
Looking back at it, Kuroba's bad ends are my least favourites too, I guess I just don't find getting murdered very sexy, but i guess some people might be into it. I JUST THINK HE DESERVED BETTER.
I should also mention that since Douma was very much positioned as the Big Bad in the common route and Kuroba was my first, I did believe Olympia when she didn't want to trust him. I fully expected Douma to have some kind of diabolical plan when he asked Kuroba to murder Nagusa and I was excited to see what it was when I did the bad ends. Of course, no such plan existed, and now that I've played through other routes I know that Douma's just a grumpy ol' dad who gives no fucks. (Unless we're gonna learn more about him in the remaining 2 routes) Anyway, this just makes that whole resolution so much dumber in retrospect. I feel like Kuroba's best ending never really came to fruition and instead we just got an ok one.
I can only hope for a fandisk to give me more Kuroba content v_v
And now, to finish the last remaining routes. Not looking forward to Himuka as he's just way too young and feminine looking for my tastes, and I just can't imagine CGs fixing that the way they did with Tokisada. But I hope the Plot will make up for it. Akaza on the other hand...I have high hopes for him :D Fingers crossed!

✧・゚: * eloise kane / —
twenty six. slave. neutral good. hufflepuff. bisexual. human. allergic to pineapple.
✧・゚: * application / —
ELOISE KANE is a 26 year old BISEXUAL, FEMALE, SHE’S here in Upper America. People say they look a lot like PHOEBE TONKIN. They are RESOURCEFUL but can be GULLIBLE. They are a HUMAN. In the city they are A SLAVE and work as HOUSEKEEPER/SEX WORKER.
✧・゚: * about / —
it’s not an unusual origin story: at twelve years old, her entire family was cornered and taken by slavers. as looked down upon as the trade might be, there would always be people willing to buy children for pure labor. she was skinny, and fit perfectly in tight spaces that adult slaves could not fit. she was easily unnoticed among other slaves, and reported gossip and drama to her vampire masters, though her leash changed hands frequently.
for eight long years, cleaning up after vampires and tattling on her fellows was her life; her fingernails were always dirty. her knees were always red-raw. she didn’t know where her mother was, or where her father was, and eventually the threats to hurt her family stopped working because she couldn’t remember her family.
eventually she was given to a vampire who saw the potential in a face as pretty and stubborn as hers, and she was taught to clean manors and provide comfort for vampires rather than just pick up trash on street corners. she liked this much better: it was always warm inside. there were never rats. it was easier to be on her knees on a carpet rather than a concrete alleyway.
✧・゚: * further / —
though she primarily cleans houses, she has started to dip her toes into sex work, and though she’s unused to the meaning of it all, she likes it much better than the hard, dirty work she’d been doing before tending public spaces. she’s good at her job: she can get any stain out of any surface, she can re-hem and steam curtain to make it look brand new in a matter of hours, and she’s even good at some handy-man projects.
she likes to make herself useful to avoid scorn or wrath, and picks up skills relatively quickly. her goals for the future are simple: become a house slave for one or two specific people rather than one of communal use... and someday see her family again. she’s all but given up on the idea of escape, though she does fantasize sometimes about being free.
✧・゚: * family / —

her favorite ( vampire ) — she’s a useful little thing. this person is her favorite to work for, whether it be just cleaning, or a little extra. she might even say she enjoys it, if pressed.
a mentor ( slave ) — an older slave who has been her guide for a majority of the last 14 years, and has taught her at least part of what she knows: cleaning, sex work, who knows. this person is someone she really loves and looks up to. like a big sibling
a real angsty romantic entanglement ( anyone ) — would love something DRAMATIC n messy and disastrous for any reason. flirtationship... will-they-won’t-they... secret romance...toxic jealousy. very open ended, not looking for anything end-game or all-consuming, and i won’t force an actual ship bc honestly i just want the angst, drama, development, and REAL steamy threads lol

OC Backstory Week 2 - Friends
Who were your OC’s friends, when they were young? Was it a group or a single individual?
Write any short drabble about an important past friendship.
@yourocsbackstory
Aaaand we're back from commercial! Hopefully our lovely hosts have picked a safer topic for us to explore.
(No I'm not trying to be insulting, it's not my fault TCBNN didn't pre-screen their questions. Fine, I'll behave.)
Who were my friends growing up? Same as any kit's: my schoolmates – yes, we have school in the Hinnom Forest – my fellow Igis Chosen, my dad's friends' kits, but the two people I ended up sticking with the most were Kenton and Seri.
Yeah, I know in the previous story I said I hated him – I was what, six? by the way you humans reckon years, and we're obviously friends now – how we got to be so is a story for another day, but for now I'm gonna tell you about the time the three of us got in big trouble with the Innah, Auntie Praha, and the rest of the council. We were all around ten or eleven and bored to death of being cooped up inside for hours on account of it being Frix season. . .
“I'm bored!” Bo announced, throwing down the ball of spinner-floss he'd been batting about.
“Nyss said as much when he dropped you off earlier,” Seri said. She didn't look up from the game she was playing with Ken. 'Chess,' he called it, and had been trying to get Bo to play for the longest time. But the ugly carved pieces and the game's overly complicated rules were all too. . . human, for Bo's tastes.
“I'm not bored.”
“Yeah, 'cause you keep winning,” Seri muttered as she moved another piece, scowling and lashing her tail when Ken plucked it from the square wooden board and added it to his ever growing collection.
Bo pointed an accusing finger at her. “So you admit it! You don't wanna play Ken's silly game either.”
“Well Ken doesn't like playing 'humans and klia'ans,' and there's nothing else to do.”
“Wrong.” Bo grinned at Ken and Seri. “We can hunt frix sprites!”
“Outside? In that storm?” Seri's eyes went wide and Ken shook his head. “We'll get in trouble; I don't want to spend hours doing chores 'cause we left the loft when Mother said not to.”
“We won't be out long enough for her to notice we're gone,” Bo said, and turned pleading eyes on Ken. “All the stories say if we catch one, we'll be frix proof like Hinnom Trees.”
“No one's ever seen one in real life.”
Bo shifted into s'hinoian form and growled at Ken, glossy black fur shining in the light cast by the frix dancing on the leaves outside the loft's window. “Then we'll be the first.”
Ken and Seri shot searching looks towards the spinner-floss curtain separating their room from the Innah's.
“I am curious to see what a frix sprite looks like,” Ken admitted and started gathering up his chess pieces.
“But Mother–”
“We won't go far from the tree,” Ken said, interrupting his adopted sister's protests. “If we don't see a sprite within a few minutes, we'll come right back, okay?”
Seri chewed on her bottom lip, but nodded and grabbed some frix proof jackets for herself and Ken. Bo shifted and shrugged on his own, along with the gloves Zha'ar had given him for his birthday before second frix, and quietly they snuck out of the loft and descended the Tree of Elders.
“All I see is frix sparks,” Seri said, crossing her arms tightly. “Can we go back now?”
“You scared?” Bo teased, giggling when she bared her fangs at him, pinning her ears flat against her head.
“I just don't want to get in trouble.”
“Yeah, yeah, we heard you the first time.” Bo had to admit that Seri was right, however. The thick canopy of the Hinnom Forest caught a good amount of frix and rain before the crackling mix ever hit the forest floor, but the heat rising from the muddy ground turned into a thick steam, and Bo couldn't even see the loft of the next tree over.
“We're not gonna find frix sprites just standing around,” he said, striking off into the forest and ignoring Ken and Seri's cries of alarm. “C'mon.”
“Not far from the tree, that was the deal,” Ken said, catching Bo's arm.
“We can still see it!”
Just then, lightning cracked across the sky, and Bo couldn't help himself, he jumped, shifting in midair and landing on all fours. The log he landed on pitched beneath him, sending him tumbling down the banks of a slippery hill. Ken fell with him, having lost his balance when Bo suddenly changed forms, and Seri had been just startled as Bo, resulting in all three of them sprawled in a heap at the bottom of a steep gully.
“My jacket!” Ken cried in dismay, looking at where it had torn in three places. The flashing frix showed his normally pale face had turned an almost mushroom white. “The Innah's going to be so mad at me.”
“I don't care if there are frix sprites out here,” Seri said, starting to cry, “I want to go home and not be wet and muddy and gross.”
“Fine,” Bo said, trying to pretend he wasn't bothered by their sudden fall. “Doubt there's any down here anyway.”
Seri jumped towards the top of the gully, but it was too high and she slipped back down with a squelching thud. Bo tried next, but failed just as miserably.
“Stand on my shoulders,” Ken suggested, and stood with his back to the bank. But Bo was only able to claw his way a paw's length over the edge before sliding back, jacket smeared with leaves and slimy wet dirt and worm casts.
“I can't do it,” he said, and Seri started sobbing in earnest, great wailing gulps which had Bo flinching and Ken putting an arm around her.
“What if no one notices we're gone 'til it's too late?” she said between sobs. “We'll all die out here, 'cause you couldn't, couldn't be happy playing chess in the loft.”
Bo shrugged, huddling under his jacket when the wind shifted and blew stinging frix into his face. “Least I'll get to see P'rraa again.”
Seri cried harder at that, inconsolable no matter how much Ken – badly – purred at her and tried to convince her that someone would notice them missing and come looking.
“Sorry,” Bo muttered, trembling a little at the thought of being trapped out in the frix until it finally wore through his jacket and gloves and then through his fur and skin. He suddenly wanted to cry himself.
“Hey!” he shouted instead. “Somebody, help! Help us! Help, we're stuck, hey, hey, help!”
Ken started yelling as well, and they screamed until their voices went hoarse. But nobody came, and Seri kept crying and Ken joined in, and Bo couldn't stop the tears that trickled through his fur.
They really would die, alone in the wet and mud and frix, all because he'd been bored. Stupid frix sprites. Why couldn't they come out between frix seasons, when the air wouldn't be so steamy and prickly, nor the ground so slick? Bo imagined it, the three of them getting hungrier and hungrier until they wasted away, nothing but their bones left by the time his brothers and the Innah found them.
“I'm sorry!” he wailed, clutching at Ken and Seri. “I just wanted to see the frix sprites, I didn't mean to get us killed.”
“Over here, I hear them!” a voice called, and Bo jolted upright. That sounded like Nyss. Seri was still sniffling loudly, but he could make out the sounds of tramping boots and bodies moving through the frix. The noises grew louder, and moments later his brothers, the Innah, and Auntie Praha all appeared at the top of the too-tall embankment.
Nyss began to growl at Bo, but the Innah stopped him with an upraised hand.
“I know Bo greatly frightened you, dear child, but there will be time enough for reprimands later. Besides, I think this little misadventure has taught him and Ken and Seri quite enough about the dangers of wandering heedlessly about during second frix. Let us see the little ones home safe, and be glad there is nothing worse hurt than feelings.”
Nyss ducked his head respectfully at the Innah's words, and though Bo sensed his big brother was still awfully cross with him, he couldn't help clinging to him once he'd been lifted out of the gully, shifting and burying his whole face in Nyss' arms, kit-like. Ken and Seri likewise clung to the Innah, who ushered the entire group back to the village where all three of them were bundled into blankets and their wet things laid by the fire.
“You know,” Bo whispered to Ken after Seri had fallen asleep to the comforting murmuring of the adults in the next room, the fur under her eyes matted from all the crying she'd done, “maybe I will try chess after all.”
In hindsight, the whole thing is absolutely hilarious, as we only ever made it about fifty feet past the village outskirts.
But long story short, we had to do double chores for a full month after that, and we still got up to all kinds of mischief 'til we got old enough for Igis. Mostly prompted by me, I'll admit. But we never played outside in second frix again.
Oh, and I'm now Tribe Osinan's Chessmaster, match me if you dare.

Love Brings You Home - Hazuki Tojo Review
We’ve made it! The final route of Love Brings You Home. It’s the rather sketchy Hazuki, who is actually a professional cuddler?? Interesting premise, but so was Liam’s, so I went into this with a totally open mind and I was not disappointed, though I definitely didn’t like this route as much as the others.
OVERALL RATING: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡ (ehh... 3.5?)
ART/MUSIC: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡
STORY: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡ ♡
STEAMINESS: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡ ♡
LOVE INTEREST’S LIKEABILITY: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡
MC’S LIKEABILITY: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡
DO I RECOMMEND THE ROUTE: Ehhh… If you’re a huge fan of LBYH and want more, then yes. If not, the other few routes are more interesting and dynamic to start with.
Hazuki’s pretty much your typical boy-next-door type.
He’s a college student who made money doing the whole cuddling thing, but he had to quit for unknown reasons. I like how they explain the whole thing, and I’ve actually heard of this concept before, so I wasn’t too weirded out by it.
Hazuki himself is… I don’t really see why MC is attracted to him for the most part. She keeps saying that he makes her feel relaxed and safe, but that’s not enough for a relationship! I suppose he does understand her to some extent. I guess I just couldn’t see enough chemistry, more like they fell for each other because they were in such close proximity. He’s also not that unique of a character. His backstory feels pretty typical, as well as his “issue”.
The route kicks off because Hazuki needs a place to stay, so he “tricks” a sleepy MC into signing a contract that says as such (which technically is void... but whatever). Still, sketchy.
I have to admit, the tongue blep is pretty cute.
This route is unique in that MC actually hires him to be a part-time worker at her company, so there’s a lot more of her work-related things in the story. There’s also the presence of a strong rival, which I thought was interesting because MC used to/may still have a crush on the guy:
The art in this game was awesome, especially for the ending CG for the tantalizing ending. LOVED IT. The ending itself was also great, I enjoyed it a lot compared to the rest of the route.
Additional observations: This is the steamiest route in the game, haha! And it’s not even that steamy. Of course, that’s not the focus of this title so I don’t mind. I do have to say, I laughed at many points during the route. I know I’m nagging on it a lot, but it was decent.
Final thoughts: Overall, I was a little bored with the story. It reminded me a lot of Rin from MLFK, with the whole “liking someone else at first” and the bickering (not banter) between MC and the LI. Rin was just executed a whole lot better. The last five chapters picked up steam and were waaay more interesting than the beginning, but obviously it’s still not as good as if it were consistent all the way through. I don’t think I’ll be re-reading this route again any time soon.
Also, imagine how different the route would be if this was the setup instead, LOL:
SPOILERS BELOW
It might have been a translation error, but I’m kind of upset at how they called Hazuki’s parents’ relationship an “open relationship. Like, that’s clearly not what it is. They were just two people that decided to cheat on each other. An open relationship is a totally viable concept if both partners are on board and have agreed to a set of rules beforehand. Many people are in this type of relationship and they love each other very much. I don’t want readers, especially the younger audience, reading this and thinking open relationships = bad… Ugh. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Supernatural AU: Part 1
Yep. I've been screaming about this AU with my friend forever, aka the AU where everyone has a less-than-pleasant backstory and my two favourite things: angst and superpowers. Thank you so much @russiansunflower3 for letting me scream about this for so long and giving me so many goooood scenarios and ideas, you're the real MVP (Also check out their stuff it's incredible).
Some general info: Everyone who has supernatural powers gets sent to a government facility so they can be monitored and trained. They are separated from their family, who may have treated them badly because of their power. The captured supernaturals are divided into teams and they can visit other teams if they wish. Powers vary with every individual, but a general rule is that overuse affects the user's health negatively in some way.
Gonna introduce some characters, along with some dumb draws I did because I love this idea so much. They're not particularly good, but bear with me here.
Here's Hinata, and his superpower is "Charge". He can give his energy to other people to charge them, and make them less tired. He can also charge objects that can be charged, such as batteries and phones. He admires the "Small Giant", who could control the effect of gravity acting on himself but was killed for trying to rebel against the facility. Hinata becomes tired in exchange for giving his energy to someone or something, and his training focuses on improving his 'battery life' so he can give out more of his enegy without becoming exhausted.
Kageyama has the power to put others to sleep, kind of contrary to Hinata. And yes, it's very important to remind everyone that he is a good boy. He often uses his powers when someone is overworking themselves, so he can let them rest. He has a black bunny that he calls Usagi, because it was the best name he could come up with. The others don't understand his choice. Kageyama gets really, really cranky when he overuses his power, and ends up getting fevers sometimes. One of the third years have to step in when he's in his sleep-deprived state. He can accidentally put people to sleep, especially when he's irritated about something. He'll be solving sudoku and suddenly yell "Fuck!" and instantly, everyone in the room falls asleep and gets very, very weird dreams.
Tsukishima can grow plants on his body, and he's really knowledgeable about them because of this. He usually grows something to eat when he's hungry, and strawberries are his most common plants. His appearance changes when he grows plants, and his first plant was a string bean which made him really tall. He gets a bunch of freckles as well as a hair colour change when he grows strawberries, though. It makes him a little self conscious because it does NOT suit him, but it's worth the food. Plucking the plants feel like pulling hair out, so it's irritating when someone yanks roughly without his permission. Especially Kageyama.
Yamaguchi can release steam out of his body. He often uses it in the kitchen like Tsukishima, but he has less control over his powers and they rely a lot on his emotion. He'll start steaming out his ears when he's tired, and the steam condenses as it rises to form rain clouds. When he finds this out, he uses it to water Tsukishima's plants. He probably has a secret steamy mode that's quite dangerous if activated, and can scald someone if they're not careful. He's never really overused his power, so he doesn't know what'll happen if he does.

Delilah Green Doesn’t Care by Ashley Herring Blake
Delilah Green’s life in New York is good, her photography career is finally gaining steam and her bed is never empty. Sure, it’s a different woman every night, but that’s a-okay with her. A life without surprises. Until Delilah’s estranged stepsister, Astrid, pressures her into photographing her wedding with a guilt trip and a hefty check, and Delilah finds herself back in her small Oregon hometown that she swore she’d never go back to. She plans to be in and out, once the wedding was over it would be like she’d never been there and it was back to the bright lights of the city. But then she sees Claire Sutherland, one of Astrid’s BFFs, and decides that maybe there’s some fun to be had after all.
Having raised her daughter mostly on her own while dealing with a flaky co-parenting situation and running her family’s bookstore, Claire Sutherland has depended on a life without surprises. For Claire that includes Delilah Green. As Delilah shadows the wedding party, camera in hand, Claire is unsettled when Delilah figures out exactly which of Claire’s buttons to push. As they’re forced together during an onslaught of wedding preparations—including a shenanigan-filled scheme to save Astrid from her shit boot of a fiancé—Claire isn’t sure she has the strength to resist Delilah’s charms, and maybe she doesn't want to.
Will the turmoil of Astrid's ill-fated wedding be the push Claire and Delilah have needed to open their hearts to something new?
---- SPOILERS ----
Did I read this book to avoid packing for college? Yes. Was it so amazing that I finished it in a day? Also yes.
This book was phenomenal and procrastination wasn’t my only reason for picking it up. As a queer woman finding good sapphic romance can be difficult, and boy have I been looking for something to pique my interest. Earlier this week I was chatting with a local bookseller on one of my (too) frequent trips to the bookstore and we started talking about sapphic romance. I asked for recommendations and they suggested Delilah Green Doesn’t Care, describing this book as “the sapphic romance that I compare all other sapphic romances to” which is very high praise. Luckily for me, it had been sitting in my TBR for a couple of weeks at that point, so when it finally got to the end of the work week and my empty college suitcase was glaring at me from the corner of my room, I snatched the book off my shelf and oh my god, I fell in love instantly.
I’m a sucker for a good romance and this one ticked all my boxes, sexual tension, drama, humor, and a little steamy with a great plot to boot? Perfection! The characters in this book are amazing, they each have their own distinct voice and history, which really helps you get to know and relate to them as the story progresses, which can sometimes be difficult in sapphic stories. I’ve found that sometimes same-sex couples sound the same or get muddled but this was not the case in this book at all. Even the minor characters had enough detail to their personalities and backstories, you felt like you knew them too. The setting of wedding preparation was the perfect backdrop for this story, weddings are stressful regardless, but add all of the drama that these characters we’re dealing with, and whew was I in for a wild ride!
I have to say that my favorite parts of this book really came towards the end, not to say the whole book wasn’t fantastic, but the self-realizations that happened across the board were so worth the build-up that the plot had been focusing on, besides the obvious Claire and Delilah romance (which was so well written by the way). I was especially pleased about Astrid getting rid of that shit boot of a fiancé, definitely was looking forward to that the entire book. Even the stuff with Claire and Josh was so well done, I was so upset when it seemed like he had left them again, especially for Ruby, no kid deserves that. But when he came back, I felt like the grinch, my heart definitely grew three sizes that day, (he still deserved that right hook tho).
And of course, who could forget Delilah and her sister, I was totally expecting Claire to show up at the Whitney show and confront Delilah but was pleasantly surprised when it was Astrid instead, I’m glad that that relationship also gets a somewhat happy ending, they both went through so much and they never knew how much they mattered to each other, it meant a lot that their story wasn’t ignored in the end.
Overall, this book was amazing, not just in the romance aspect but in every way I needed it to be, It’s been a hot minute since I’ve read anything for fun (or written a review, sorry!) and this book was the perfect thing to shove me out of my reading slump! Would definitely recommend it for an adorable romance and some great laughs!

Note that I only listed muses who have active ships, ships in their backstories, or are part of a fandom that I have ships for.
WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?
I’m open to just about anything, so long as there’s no incest involved, and the muses are of reasonable age. I generally try not to let my own opinions on relationships in the series dictate who I can ship with, since everyone interprets their muse differently.
HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:
Age gaps don’t usually make me uncomfortable, so long as the youngest party is at least 18 years of age. Even then, I’m fine with RPing younger muses with crushes, so long as we’re not venturing into anything explicit with them.
ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?:
Honestly, I don’t think I’m that selective? I like there to be some chemistry between our characters, but really, that’s my only requirement most of the time. I’m open to a lot of different concepts when it comes to shipping.
HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW?:
If we start describing intimate body parts, or touching those areas, I’ll probably toss a readmore and a NSFW tag on it.
WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?:
Felix: @tenebriism (in development)
Wynn: @xlifelikedreams, @tenebriism, @austerre, @hyaciiintho, @xltruistic (in development)
Lance: @condomglitter, @gritrisen, @blackincantation
Sage: @achilleamillefxlium
Ronan: @achilleamillefxlium, @hyaciiintho
Dai: @xlifelikedreams, @condomglitter (in development)
Link Dragmire: @memorixm, @tenebriism, @sheikahminstrel, @blackincantation (tentatively)
Akihiko: @blackincantation
Sky Link: @anthxs, @kvlpa, @hyaciiintho, @tenebriism
Sheik: @scaevitxs
Kouga: @condomglitter, @timetossedmiko, @tenebriism (in development), @hyaciiintho (in development), @blackincantation (different muse, off of Tumblr)
Bakura: @condomglitter, @mxlik (possibly in the future?)
Kenshin: @hyaciiintho
Hopefully, I didn’t miss any. xD;
DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?:
Usually, if it seems to be going in that direction, and the muse is digging it, I’m happy to just go with the flow. Sometimes I’ll double check with the other mun, and I’m fine with the other party coming to talk to me about it if they’re not sure.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?:
Whenever it makes sense, honestly. I don’t usually go into a thread with the intention to ship, but if it’s something that we’ve plotted, or it seems to be going in that direction? Full steam ahead.
ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?:
Is… Is there an ‘in-between’ option?
ARE YOU MULTISHIP?:
Yup! Everything is separate from all other verses, unless we’ve discussed otherwise with all parties!
WHAT IS ( ARE ) YOUR FAVORITE SHIP(S) IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?:
Since this is a multimuse blog with a million fandoms on it, Imma decline to answer this one. xD
FINALLY, HOW DOES ONE SHIP WITH YOU?:
Plotting something with me is a good start. I can’t promise that something will come of it, but I’m open to giving it a go, usually.

Sea Breeze series by Abbi Glines
Cage York has to choose between a love of the game and a love of the girl in this sultry Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines. Cage York finally has everything he ever wanted. And Eva is at the very top of that list—the perfect girl with a temper as hot as her fabulously flawless body. But for Cage, a baseball scholarship has always been a close second. So when Cage finally gets his chance, he and Eva must endure a long distance relationship—and all the dangerous temptations that come with it. Temptations that former bad boy Cage York may not be able to escape. Then after receiving some illicit photos that show Cage has been behaving badly—very badly—Eva finds solace in the comforting arms of her insanely attractive neighbor Jeremy, who vows that he will take care of Eva in ways Cage never could. It’s an offer that may be too good for Eva to turn down. Torn between his baseball dream and the girl of this dreams, Cage must prove he’s worthy of Eva’s love, or risk losing her to Jeremy forever.

I was kinda surprised that they were going to get another story when I heard about it years ago because I thought they got their happy ended. I was interested to see what kind of drama unfolded. In all honesty it seemed a little far fetched that someone would go to those extremes to cause problems. They’re probably people like that and I don’t know about them because I’m not around shitty people like that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I liked that it was a quick read. I flew through it like nobody’s business. Though I did think it was a good addition to their story, I had major eye rolls going on. All this talk about him being resentful if she said to stay, she was acting all resentful. What the hell do you want girl?!? Geez. Don’t tell someone to do something to hold against them later. I hated that.
After all said and done, I’m glad everything worked out. Poor Eva had a lot to deal with and I’d probably would have reacted the same way. Overall, I thought it was a sweet ending.
Jason is sick of living in his rock star brother’s shadow. So when he ships off to Sea Breeze, Alabama, he’s looking for a much deserved escape and a chance to blow off some envious steam. Falling for the local bad girl was definitely not the plan. But as the new duo enjoys some naughty fun in the Alabama sun, Jason learns that even though Jax is the musician in the family, he’s not the only brother who can rock someone’s world.

What I liked:
It was very steamy throughout.
I liked Jess knew what she wanted and went for it. She doesn’t hold back and she’s not shy. lol.
I liked that this involved Jason, Jax’s brother. I liked him in Just for Now and was excited to see more of him. He was an idiot sometimes though lol.
What Jess did to help her mom out. Honorable in my eyes.
Jason was still a good person despite his horrible evil mother.
Loved how they first met.
Overall I liked this and thought they were a great couple. A very quick and fun book to read.
Innocence was never meant for the addictive… Addiction was something Krit Corbin accepted as part of his nature a long time ago. He decided to embrace it and flip his finger at the rules. Women had always been the number one thing on his list of addictions. He couldn’t get enough. Being the lead singer in a rock band had only made access to his favorite addiction that much easier. Being alone was the only thing Blythe Denton understood. The small town minister’s family that raised her hadn’t accepted her as their own. The minister’s wife had always made sure Blythe understood just how unworthy she was of love. When Blythe is sent away to college and given a chance to finally be free of living as an unwanted burden, she looks forward to having peace in her life. Being alone isn’t something that bothers her. She escapes reality in the stories she writes. However, the ridiculously sexy tattooed guy who keeps throwing parties in the apartment above hers is driving her crazy. For starters, he doesn’t treat her like she would expect a guy with a different woman always hanging on his arm to treat someone as uninteresting as her. She looks nothing like the gorgeous women she sees parading in and out of his apartment, but for some strange reason he keeps showing up at her door. During a party at his apartment, Krit’s new neighbor comes to the door with her long brown hair pulled up in a messy knot and a pair of glasses perched on her cute little nose. She wants him to turn down the music, but he convinces her to stay. Krit Corbin may have just found his biggest addiction yet. And Blythe Denton realizes too late that she’s finally been claimed.

Krit is a womanizer rock god until Blythe moves in. I didn’t like how he treated the woman even though they knew what to expect, it almost seemed wrong to read. I’m just glad he changed his tune after a while. Blythe, I felt so bad for. That’s something nobody should go through. It made her so naive to the world and thought the worst in herself. I just wanted to hug her sometimes.
I liked how gradually they become more. Krit was just adorable around her and Blythe saw the best in Krit when no one else did. They honestly were like the perfect match. Can I say how awesome Trisha was? She wasn’t going to let anyone mess with her brother.
Another good book. I go through these books like nobody’s business.
Six years ago, Dewayne Falco’s life changed. He lost someone he never expected to lose. Resigned to punish himself for something he felt he could have prevented, he goes through life without getting too close to anyone. What he didn’t expect was for the girl across the street to move back home and remind him of what they both lost: Dewayne’s younger brother Dustin. However, when a miniature version of Dustin opens the door to greet him, Dewayne realizes he might not have lost everything after all. Sienna Roy loved Dustin Falco most of her life. He was the boy next door, the high school basketball star and her best friend. But when his life was cut short, she realized he left a part of himself behind. Now, she’s back in Sea Breeze, thankful to have a home for her and Dustin’s son, but not sure if she can ever forgive the people across the street who abandoned her when she needed them the most — The Falcos. Betrayal, lies, and forbidden attraction might end Dewayne and Sienna’s story before it’s even begun.

Sienna was very naive. There was so many hints that she didn’t pick up that Dustin was a douche. I mean it sucks what happened to him but still she should have figured it out or kicked him to the curb. I felt bad for her. Her parents sucked big time, she was alone dealing with everything, and she was mourning still. But that didn’t stop her being an awesome mom.
It was nice to see what Dewayne was thinking. I always found him interesting and funny in the past books and was glad he finally got his story and happy ending. He’s was such a tough guy but became mush whenever Sienna was around. It was so sweet.
Overall, I liked it. It was such a good book and that ending made me tear up.
The backstory that fans have been clamoring for—how Rock and Trisha fell in love—is the final installment in the Sea Breeze series from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines. And don’t miss the sizzling Epilogue, where Abbi wraps up all the Sea Breeze couples’ stories! Trisha Corbin always knew how to hide a bruise. With her momma’s boyfriends unable to keep their hands off of her, she had no choice. And as long as it meant the guys wouldn’t go near her little brother, Krit, it was worth it. But her days of dreaming that Prince Charming would ever come rescue her are far, far in the past. Rock Taylor always had a plan. Through football, he would rise above the life he was born into. A full ride to play for a major college team was within his reach—assuming he didn’t let anything get in his way. But scoring a date with the hottest girl in Sea Breeze was proving harder than expected. Trisha Corbin was every man’s walking fantasy, and she wouldn’t even glance his way. When Rock finally does get Trisha in his truck, it isn’t for a date. It’s because he picks her up on the side of the road, beaten and bruised and walking to the local hospital. Before Rock knows it, football is no longer his life. Trisha Corbin is. And he’ll do anything to save her. And keep her. In addition to Rock and Trisha’s love story, this special novel contains the wrap-up stories of all your favorite Sea Breeze couples: Sadie and Jax, Marcus and Low, Cage and Eva, Preston and Amanda, Jess and Jason, Krit and Blythe, and Dewayne and Sienna.
*What I thought: 3.5 stars out of 5 stars
read: 04/17
I thought it was an okay book. I thought it was going to be more on Rock and Trisha but they got such a small portion. I loved how they were with the siblings of Preston’s that they adopted. They were so sweet together. I did like it showed more of Trisha and Krit’s younger days and the crappy stuff they had to deal with. My issue was how unbelievable it was during their high school days. I find it hard to believe that every girl wants to get with boys of the books because back in my highschool days, boys didn’t look and act like the boys did in this book. lol
While I liked that every couple got an epilogue, it bothered me also. I’m sorry but sex does not fix fights or insecurities. And almost everyone that had some issues that was solved by sex. Deep sigh. Besides that, I liked that it showed 10 years in the future with everyone and their kids. They breed like a bunch of rabbits. lol. I also liked that it showed Bliss (Cage and Eva’s daughter) and her meeting Nate Finlay (Rush and Blaire’s son). I’m sure that will be an interesting book.
*On a side note- She needs a better editor. I understand typos and mistakes happen but in almost every book I read was something that needed corrected. My biggest issue was inconsistency. For example in one book: the character was putting on his shirt while talking then a few sentences later, he was putting on the same damn shirt. Like??? He came in with one and now he’s layering. lol

This Love Hurts by Willow Winters
This love hurts so good. 👑👑👑.5
In the beginning of this book is the novella prequel Do You Want Me?, so here is my review of that as I read it already. We get a little bit of backstory on Delilah, Marcus’ love interest, how Cody Walsh was involved, and it was interesting. I loved that she was smart and fierce. I can’t wait to read how she fell for Marcus, and how their whole story unravels.
On to This Love Hurts. What was interesting about this book was the unraveling of Delilah. As I said, she was smart and fierce, but her interactions with Marcus made her unravel along with a case that threatened her life (she’s an assistant district attorney). Cody (an FBI agent) was keeping secrets from her, and she was keeping secrets from him. Cody was with her in a romantic and they mean something to each other. Plus Cody was trying to protect her from this threat, and Marcus wants her since Cody crossed that line with Delilah. Now Marcus will do anything to be with her. Marcus has a moment, shall we say, with Delilah, and “danger and desire” mixed with electricity to make me feel it! But that was the only steam, and I like books I read to be much more steamy. Marcus seems to be a monster, a ghost, the grim reaper, but I am excited to understand how he became those things. We may have a gotten a slight clue in this book, but there are still many questions to be answered! This author mentions this book having a “tick, tick, tick all the way up until we fall down this gripping roller coaster,” and that was exactly what this book had. I felt like we are still going up the ramp in this book, and the wild ride will come with the other 2 books. I am looking forward to them, because I was so excited for Marcus’ story!
*I received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review.*

100 Dungeon Descriptors Table
Nothing fancy today, just a list of dungeon descriptors, helpfully listed in d100 format. Oftentimes I find myself wanting to make a new dungeon or area and am short on ideas. This list is useful for inspiration, kickstarting design with an idea or two about which ideas can be formed. Alternately, you can pick one or two as overarching themes and then flavor smaller areas with another selection. Of course you may need to get creative if you end up with conflicting descriptors that make no sense together, but if it’s too bizarre you can always ignore the one you like least and/or roll again.
Here’s an example: We’ll go with an area with two random descriptors and three sub areas each with an additional descriptor of it’s own. Our rolls* are 9, 53 , 51, 14, 90. That gives us main traits of Icy and Rectangular rooms. So we have a start of an idea. Rectangular rooms is pretty standard dungeon stuff. Icy implies cold or ice creatures and a certain environment. Maybe this is high in the mountains, deep underground, a magical cold, or far to the north/south. We’ll decide later. Our three sub zones are Large scale, Geothermal, and Non-euclidean. Giant is easy. So we have a giants’ castle in the high mountains covered in frost and ice. Under the castle we’ve got a series of geothermically active caverns. We could go fire elemental here, but I like making the geothermal energy a power source for the giant’s castle better. So the castle has steam driven gates and other cool steam type devices, as well as few “ice giant engineers”, although no steam heat. In the caverns themselves, there are a few ice giant taskmasters (nearly naked because of the heat) and a bunch of slaves that maintain the steam pipes. Beyond the castle, carved into the mountain is a series of rooms with odd magical geometry. Let’s combine that with the ice to have sliding traps and block puzzles that rely on the non euclidean nature of the space, placed to protect some appropriate artifact. On advice of my test audience, we’ll also add some man sized blind penguins and ice-template gibbering mouthers to this area. That even gives us three adventure hooks: against the giants, free the slaves, capture the relic.
