i have sorta been in and out of rp for years now. i remember, i used to write on tumblr when i was like 12 / 13 which is ..... really kinda scary thinking about it. when i was 17, i got back into roleplay and ended up joining a group with the nicest of people ( some of who i still speak to now ). i worked my way up to becoming a moderator and then an admin, then poured my heart and soul into a revamp but i think the longer i spent there, i just got a bit bummed out by strict rules and having to set an example as head admin when i could hardly follow them myself with university and working a full time job. i did leave eventually and came over to indie where i took my lil fire cracker as oc. just recently made her a blog because i found my long lost love @asynjja​ / @indizien​ and got hit right in the feels with this rollercoaster plot we had going. i then started adding game of thrones muses to that multi, switched it out for solely a game of thrones multi, then made daenerys & margaery their own separate blogs but marg moo is hibernating

i have a soft spot in my heart for cripples, bastards & broken things. nah, i’m kidding but most of my characters have legit always been BROKEN  !!!  i’ve always had this thing for powerful woman who are inspiring, a lil wild and just stand out characters. so aside from dany, i’ve also written sansa, arya, cersei and margaery but i just never really resonated with them in the way that i did with daenerys. i feel like because i started watching game of thrones when there were only 3 seasons out, that i really watched her grow and just came to love her even more. she stands for freedom, justice, equality and tbh .... that’s the stuff i stand for too. she’s a passionate fiery lil thing and i think i can relate to that on quite a few levels, which is why i’ve opted for the characters that i have in the past. i could really do with reviving marg ( @rosebeavty​ ) but my muse here is far too strong. once i become hooked on a certain character, i find it difficult to place my muse and interest elsewhere so sorry guys but ur stuck with me for a lil while

She is the type of character who can come up smelling like roses on first meetings, since she puts on such a good show. She isn’t perfect and I love the opportunities to prove it. I look forward to further clumsy shenanigans of my little struggling addict and this clever dealer.

@ranekvilmas - While Olivia will never be a perfect character, Ranek is sincerely a great influence on her. He pushes her to be stronger and more self-reliant. This is evolution I have wanted for her for a long time, so it has been a pleasure to write it at last.

hey! i wanna at least try to get into kpop, to see what all the fuss is abt, and youre the first blog that comes to mind abt that stuff. do you have any recs!? or comments?? anything really, i'm interested in what you have to say

i have recs!!! first of all ty for asking me abt it hdgfs !! i’ll make u a list !! i will try to stay concise but i have bolded n linked the most important stuff since i tend to blabber a lot! there r groups i purposely didnt recommend! also! i advise you to look up who did what if you want to know why idcs abt certain artists that r big in kpop (like big//ba//ng, su//ju, bl//ock//b, ma//ma//moo & so on) tl;dr: kpop basics (spotify) + @tearera (my kpop sb)

i’ll start w some RECS but jsyk kpop as u might have heard of it is mainly composed of groups! which is why i’ll start w groups then soloists! of course u can check out most of them on spotify (u can listen to their playlist of the most famous songs atm!). please notice that the kpop industry is very ‘classic’ when it comes to concepts (cute r for gorls! badass r for boys!) so um. yeah. yikes. if i had to argue abt all the things i find wrong in this industry this post would become a manifesto, u can always pm me if u want to hear me complain lmao 

GIRL GROUPS

honestly…. TWICE are the first one that came to my mind when i thought of ggs to rec. they’re a 9 member group labelled under jyp entertainment n have debuted in 2015 with the bop like ooh aah… that u can listen to! their genre is mainly cute songs but dont be fooled!! they have extremely powerful songs & lyrics as well! some good starts with their music are LIKEY (2017, a bop, great melody, great rapping, one of their ult feel good songs, played @ the olympics), TT (2016, queens of halloween!), and also their most recent song WHAT IS LOVE (2018, iconic!! gay!! bop!! sweet!! great album!!). as twice are the kind that can set you off by their cuteness and playful vibes, i recommend you to check out some of their side tracks. personality wise, the girls r very fun and sweet! they’re all angels and i love them all THIS MUCH!! if u want to know, sana & dahyun r my favourite members!         

also queens, but from sm entertainment this time, Red Velvet are a 5 member gg who have debuted in 2015 with the song Happiness (at that time they were only 4 but the youngest member, Yeri, joined later on!). some very famous songs of theirs are… basically all their title tracks but i’d mainly recommend Russian Roulette, Dumb Dumb (also my fave rv music video!!), Peek-a-boo (what’s better than lesbians witches slaying men and eating pizza), Bad Boy (honestly… one of their best songs… title track of their repackaged album…good shit if u will). of course! there are some side tracks i will recommend! i will frankly say that i listen to a lot of their music and they’re my favourite musically! some faves in no particular order are automatic, cool hot sweet love, huff n puff, something kinda crazy, about love, kingdom come, little little and talk to me! they have very versatile genres and have two main themes of music, the red and the velvet, though these mix often! rlly! their music really good. they have amazing choreographies too!!!!

the third gg i will rec are one that have not debuted yet, it’s LOONA! get ready bc they are a 12 member group with one girl for every month. each girl was revealed every month staring from 2016 with a single album composed of one song and one side track that usually features another member! as this group has yet to debut, i cannot show you anything with all twelve members but! they work with units, there are three: loona 1/3, odd eye circle, and yyxy (tune in for their debut scheduled for may!) that each have an album. 1/3 r more of a cute girly concept, while odd eye circle have played strongly on the girl crush & rnb concept. we have yet to see what yyxy has for us n im frankly v excited!!! my fave singles are Around You (hyunjin), Let Me In (haseul), Singing in the rain (jinsoul, best girl), Eclipse (kim lip), and Heart Attack (by chuu!! also best girl). they have already released a lot of music so go ahead & listen to it! their music videos have a plot and it’s one of those theories fandom (loonaverse)! the positions that all the members will have wasn’t been revealed yet!

then here’s a list of ggs that’s not as detailed bc it would be too long: clc (they r…the girls….), exid (vocals, social criticism, sexy), blackpink (5 songs out but theyre all top notch), f(x) (v good music! bring them back from the war), gfriend (cute & refreshing concepts! v tight choreographies! sweet girls!), aoa, & many more! groups i dont rec bc i dont stan but that u should know of: snsd, 2ne1; that have disbanded but shouldnt have: sistar

BOY GROUPS

ok i stan two boy groups so that’ll be quick! i’ll also rec plenty of music!

the main group i stan is BTS aka the bangtan boys and yes… they’re everywhere… they deserve it tbh… so theyre a 7 member boy group and they’re the first kpop group i ever stanned! they have released a lot of songs already but i’ll just mark something! bts are known for their cinematography and plot in their music videos as well as their politically/socially engaged songs. they debuted in 2013 with the youth-conscious song no more dream and um. forget the mv. the message is what’s important. secondly! my favourite eps & albums are DARK&WILD (forget abt war of hormone), The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt2, WINGS, and Love Yourself 轉 Tear (which will be released on May 18th so stay tuned!). here’s a beginner’s list to bts & their music videos: spring day, blood sweat & tears, run, fire, i need u, and intros: singularity, serendipity. i cannot recommend bts songs bc i’d be unable to pick some, but here is my bangtan favourites playlist and spotify’s This Is BTS! n their most known song atm, still on charts, DNA. another thing!! they dabble in a lot of genres! there is a constant symbolism in most of their songs and music videos, which is why there are theories! also, here are my fave choreos (x x x) & non-official releases (x x x)! also! j-hope recently released a mixtape! check it out! it’s v good! the bad thing is that the fandom is massive n it is filled with young fans so a lot of fan-created content is cringey. apart from that! theyre lovely as a band n i’m not ashamed to say that they bring me most of my joy these days!

then there is… NCT. ok, let’s dive into them. nct is the acronym for Neo Culture Technology, they’re currently an 18 member boy group but hey! don’t be scared! they too work in units and have only released one song which features all 18 of them! it is likely that the band will expand later on & that the name NCT will become a brand (like akb48 u know). so far! there are three units! NCT DREAM (based on age, with the youngest members who r still minors), NCT U (the first unit to have debuted, aka nct united, a rotative unit with no fixed genre or members list) and NCT 127 (seoul based unit, fixed, with 9 members). they’re known for their experimentative and diversified sound, which goes from ballads to… this. while each unit have their distinct genre and vibe, they’re all under the same label of nct! and um, check out spotify’s nct playlist if u want! here r some songs that are basics! bolded r the faves! jsyk i hated their music & their clothes @ first bc it’s so unique so dw if u dislike them!

the last group i’ll present in length n that u should know about is SEVENTEEN. they’re a 13 member boy group & work in units as well but mainly promote w all the members! they’re the fun, sweet, talented, heartfelt refreshing boys we all love tbh! so! seventeen debuted in 2015 with the bop adore u and since then it’s been great song over great song… they also have great choreos! they’re the easiest group to listen to imo bc their songs are mostly light and very similar to what you can hear on teen top radios! then, they get stuck in your head very easily! here are some songs u can listen to that will make your day! mansae, very nice, pretty u, clap, don’t wanna cry, change up, n there are many more! some of my faves are when i grow up, trauma, still lonely, rocket, crazy in love, lean on me, and uhgh rlly all of their songs tbh! three units better known as teams: hip-hop, performance and vocal, with a leader in each. they put up great performances!!

then there is shinee, mostly nicknamed the kings of kpop, i’d make a very long desc but! i suggest you to see for yourself as the fandom is v helpful!

3. An unexpected fave

I... genuinely have no idea who to select for this. I don’t have any dragons that I never expected to love. I love all dragons instantly because all dragons are good dragons asdhklf I have never seen a dragon I didn’t love with all my heart. But aaaaaaaaaaaaah, how about a dragon I hatched and was surprised by how much I fell in love with their scry?

Logi - I just finished geneing this forest fire boy and I love him so much! Admittedly, his colors weren’t the most impressive compared to the gorgeous lemon girl I hatched before him, but I plopped him into the Scrying Workshop and fell for him because he is a beautiful wildfire prince and I’m gonna have to come up with some good lore to do him justice~ <3

Also, I feel like I should give an honorable mention to this stormy wind bug

because I was in a similar situation with him until I landed on this scry and I tried so hard not to fall in love with Wasp, but he looks so good and my poor dragon wallet is crying, but he’s worth it. ;;w;; It will probably take a year for me to gather enough gems to gene him fully... and I don’t care because I am determined to make this baby even more beautiful than he already is!

4. A fave you’ve had for a long time

Rosette - Rosette is best dragon - #1 best pastel flower mom and grandma whom I have also rambled about here before  - and I have had her since my first day oh Flight Rising because my friend Solar, who told me about the open registration period and got me into the game, sent her (and a few others) as a welcome gift! Rosette is everyone’s favorite and, honestly, I am so glad because she deserves it~ <3

5. A fave you bred for/gened for/spent a long time trying to find

Epinard - I was breeding her parents and, when I was looking through their offspring preview, I saw this one beautiful petal baby and instantly knew I wanted that one... and then En and Atsushi only produced one egg and I hoped with all my might that I’d get that gene/color combo AND that the hatchling would be female. AND HALLELUJAH RNGESUS GRANTED MY PRAYERS I HAVE NEVER FELT MORE LUCKY TO HAVE HATCHED THE PERFECT CHILD. I will never be able to do better than her and I feel so proud! She is the dream baby~ >w<

6. Fave apparel/skin/dragon combo

Aurum - When she and her brother hatched, I joked that they looked like baby cows, which I thought was cute but apparently others thought was a declaration of how unbeautiful they were. XD Then, I happened across the Dalmation accent and previewed it on baby Aurum here and HOLY MOLY SHE IS SO GORGEOUS, so I spent a huge chunk of treasure to grab it off the Auction House for her. I really love how it looks with this elegant rose thorn princess ensemble (which is the perfect combination of her parents’ aesthetic, honestly)~ She is truly a golden child and still my precious baby moo-cow! >v<

Solat - My warrior girl needed a fitting look and eventually I settled on this one. I picked out this accent for her first shortly after I got her because I thought it looked cool with her aesthetic, and then the rest of her apparel and scars came later to give her a more hardened edge. I think she looks suitably badass, so I may keep her this way for a long while unless I come across another “perfect touch” to her outfit.

Caelus - This is another dragon Nardaviel let me take home to my lair (along with Carmenta below) and I love him very dearly, though I had trouble with his apparel for the longest time. I originally had a different accent on him that I really liked because it matched his tertiary gene/color so beautifully. But then I got my hands on the coat and knew he needed it for his look because it gave him exactly the vibe I was trying to express with his other meager apparel items... and when I realized I had this Forgotten Child skin, I previewed it on him out of curiosity and was blown away by how great it looked, although most of the design gets covered up by his coat. *sobs*

Carmenta - I will mention her again later, but I just REALLY love this Eclipse skin on her so much! Maybe I’m more of a sucker for pearly purple and red than I initially expected to be, but here I am asdhklf and I regret nothing because LOOK AT HER. I am amazed by how gorgeous the skin looks with the Pearly Chemistry set, but they match the highlights so well~ Her apparel is sparse, but it really works for her, especially where the skin doesn’t cover and I find it extremely aesthetically pleasing.

7. Fave “lore”

Akihiko and Haruhiko - I have a certain attachment to all of the lore I write for my babies, but these two are forever going to be at the top of the list of favorites for me (right there with their adoptive parents/family) because of how many feels they give me every time I think about them. ;;w;; <3

8. Ugliest dragon you’ve owned/seen/bred (can also be a fave)

Vesta, Sulfur, Ignit - I’ve been told they're “ugly” and it’s true they didn’t turn out the way I had hoped, but I think they’re cuties! I’m thinking of getting them some accents to pretty them up a bit more~ I’m eyeballing a Glitterbelly accent for Sulfur because it would look so gorgeous on her and give her more of a golden look I had been hoping for! And I’m thinking Black Iron Creeper would look badass on one of the boys, but... one thing at a time. I already have so many projects. ^^’

9. A fave dragon that made you change your mind about a gene/color/etc

Carmenta - Once again just like I said! This time, it’s because she changed my mind about Crackle, so I removed her skin and apparel to show that more clearly. It’s not that I particularly hated the gene before either. I just thought it looked really silly and Too Much, but holy heck is it gorgeous with certain color combos and she really works it! It’s rather fitting that it was Nardaviel who gifted me this beauty because we had actually been talking about Crackle very shortly before she offered to let me grab some dragons from her lair... and I was instantly drawn to this crimson goddess.

10. Dream dragon, something you’re breeding/shopping for, or something else on your wishlist!

I have a mighty need for this Radioactive Toxic punk boy in my life! ;;v;; I can’t do breeding projects for multiple reasons (mostly lack of time and patience), so I’m just hoping to hunt down a male Imp with these colors - Orca/Radioactive/Obsidian - to gene up later. For now, I just have my thread open in the Find A Dragon forum and I’m patrolling the Auction House, but if I don’t get a hit at some point, I’ll just send in an application to a dream dragon thread I discovered and hope they can help me. ^^

If you’ve been following my blog, recently you may have noticed my slight obsession with Day6, specifically Sungjin.  That’s only because I just suddenly realized that he is completely and utterly perfect in every way.  Like Jae was my bias, but now, who can be sure.

Flat out said, “I have deep regards for your daughter.” to your parents and you will never stop making fun of him for saying that to them, it wasn’t like you hadn’t said I love you yet or anything he could have just said that, but instead he just got all nervous and cute.

The kind of boyfriend who is super gentle and will protect you from all harm and is generally a gentleman, always holds open the door for you and makes sure you’re walking on the inside of the sidewalk.

Sungjin enjoys surprising you a lot for dinner and with dates and the such.  Sometimes you’ll just come home after a long day at work and he’ll be there in your apartment wearing an apron with a wooden spoon in hand, watching something like the Food Network trying to replicate some of the fancy recipes just to surprise you.

The only thing is that his surprise dinners are always either wonderful or a complete bust (sometimes you just need to heat up some ramen after only one bite, rip poor baby Sungjin he tried so hard).

He’ll give you a quick kiss and then pats at a spot next to him for you to sit down and chill, and then he’ll serenade you.

1. What season did you start watching Supernatural? I started watching with Season 1 but stopped after Season 5 for a couple of years while my girls were too young for it.  Now we are truly an SPN Family.  My oldest is a Dean girl and the youngest is a Cas girl, leaving Sam for me. 

2. Who was the first character you fell in love with? Well, I’m a Detroit girl so

3. Who was a character that you hated at first but grew to love? This is going to be really unpopular, but goddess I hated Dean.  I thought he was just an asshole.

8. Which character would you most like to see brought back from the dead? Charlie and Elieen both deaths were stupid and unnecessary. 

9. Which character would you most like to punch?  Well, that’s kind of a list. Can I include show writers? Lisa, mostly because I think she lied to Dean about Ben. Dick Roman because he killed Bobby and BuckLemming.

10. Who is your absolute favorite character?  Bobby.  I’m a freaking sucker for the gruff heart of gold type.

11. Which “Big Bad” do you think was the worst? The Levithans hands down.  I hated those toothy, black blooded wastes of a season. 

12. Which character are you most like? Oddly enough, Dean.  I see a lot of myself in him

13. What death hit you the hardest? I would have to say Charlie.  I bawled like a baby for days afterwards and was impossible to live with because I was just so pissed!

14. What season finale hit you the hardest? Swan Song without a doubt.  I still can’t watch it without crying even though I know Sam is coming back.

15. What are your ten all-time favorite episodes? In no particular order:

Baby, Red Meat, Weekend at Bobby’s, Provenance, Regarding Dean, LARP and the Real Girl, Red Sky at Morning, Into the Mystic, All Along the Watchtower, Fan Fiction. 

16. What’s been your favorite season? I’d have to say 4.

17. Who is your favorite angel?

18. Who’s your favorite demon? Crowley or Demon Dean.

19. Who’s your favorite evil character? I have to admit it’s Lucifer, mostly because at this point he’s truly evil and just doesn’t give a fuck .

20. Do you have any Supernatural ships? Bobby and Jody. Sam and Eileen.  I really have to stop picking ships.

21. Who’s your favorite supporting actor? Kim Rhodes, I adore Jody and think Kim is just awesome.

23. If you could cast one famous actor in an episode of SPN, who would you chose?  (whines) I can only choose one?  I have a list about a mile long that starts with George Takai. Two of my choices have already been on Linda Blair and Robert Englund.

24. If you could write your own episode, what kind of creature would you like to see included? I have to admit I’m a sucker for a good vampire story.

25. Who’s your favorite girl that Dean’s hooked up with? Cassie, hands down.  I love her sass and that she doesn’t take any of his shit.

26. Who’s your favorite girl that Sam’s hooked up with?  Eileen, weather they actually hooked up or not she was good for him.

27. What are some of your favorite convention moments? Any time Jared says something and it takes the crowd a minute to realize he’s said something pretty filthy.  He gets the cutest little smirk on his face while everyone catches up with him.

28. If you were going to guest star (or be a recurring guest star) on SPN, how would you want your character described? I want to be a badass hunter who swoops in to save the guys.

29. What do you hope to see in the next season? I honestly haven’t thought about it yet.  I’m still recovering from the blood bath that was the season finale.

Guide to BTS’ Personalities: Welcome to ARMY

I know a lot of you are trying to learn who the members are and I think one of the best ways is through getting to know their personalities/background! So to all new BTS fans/ARMY -  here's a (long but) comprehensive guide to their bios/personalities to help distinguish them more! :) 

 In order of youngest to oldest: 

 1. Jeon Jungkook - aka Jungkook, Kookie, JK, Golden Maknae, Muscle Pig

 Resident Golden Maknae. Why? Because he somehow naturally manages to do everything well without trying. He's the Main Vocal and one of the top dancers of the group. Beautifully breathy, R&B type voice and he follows choreo just as the choreographer does it. He's one of the big 'memelords' of the group, who seems normal but really isn't, and fans call him 'Jungshook' for a reason. Originally really shy but came into his own/became more confident because of his hyungs in the group. Check out his solo single Begin! He's also growing up at a scary rate, and developing scary muscles from working out (which he loves to do). Watch out for Muscle Pig Jungkook.

 2. Kim Taehyung - aka V, Tae, Taetae, Alien

Another giant memelord (actually they pretty much all are at this point) and one half of 95z (1995 line) with Jimin, his partner in crime. Iconic to V is his adorable boxy smile. He's a massive dork, and always pulling funny faces/doing weird things. He puts some of it on for fun but he really, genuinely is a weird little dude on the inside. Often called the 'dumb blonde' of the group - not that he's dumb, but it's kind of who he is in the group dynamic. Deep, sometimes raspy voice when he sings that is very unique. He's sometimes called 'Alien', though he doesn't really like that name cause he doesn't want that trait to define him completely. Recently acted for the first time in period drama Hwarang as Hansung. 

 3. Park Jimin - aka Jimin, Jiminie, Chimchim, Mangaetteok (Korean mochi) 

2nd half of 95z and a sweet little child who transforms into a ravenous beast on stage. Categorised by his hypnotising dance moves/style, Jimin studied modern and contemporary dance at school in Busan (Jungkook is also from there!) before moving to Seoul to join BTS. He has a really strong but beautiful voice and he can reach insanely high notes. He's got a really fluffy, sweet, innocent and quiet demeanor, until he's provoked and he becomes really loud, animated, and giggly. Has a soft spot for Jungkook. Jimin's off-stage presence almost contrasts directly with his on-stage one - he's a sex monster on stage, always eye-sexing the camera and pushing his hair back. He loves performing. But he's also known to be a bit self-conscious, and very humble irl. He will always put others before himself if he can. He's that one friend who's always giggling/laughing at someone in the background. 

 4. Jung Hoseok - aka J-Hope, Hobi, Hoseok, Hoseokie 

You hear that guy screaming in the background of a Bangtan video? That's J-Hope. We're venturing into hyung territory now, although he's pretty much part of the maknae line with how much he enables the bullshit & playing around. His iconic line is screaming "I'm your angel! I'm your hope!! I'm J-Hope!!" followed by doing something really crazy. He plays around a lot and is one of the only true extroverts in the group. He's the Official Sunshine (TM) of the group, who brightens everyone's days with his bubbly personality. Loves playing with/annoying Jimin, whom he has a soft spot for. But he has an aggressive side. A member of the famous rap line, J-Hope is a known for his bouncy, sassy, sarcastic rap style. He likes making weird 'woops' and 'yaps' to the backing tracks of songs (check out Baepsae and his solo 1VERSE). He's also the #1 dancer in the group, and was a part of the underground hip hop dance scene. He has a V Live show called Hope on the Street, where he teaches fans about dance and does live improv/freestyling. 

 5. Min Yoongi - aka Suga, Agust D, Grandpa, Min Yoongi.

He's almost a classic tsundere, acting uncaring when he cares a lot on the inside (check out his birthday gift to fans video). He's a really introverted but darkly sassy person, and has a super sweet adorable side (he's got a really small, cute type face!) but he also has a really serious side. He's a rapper, and a genius producer/writer. Daegu town representative. He spends a lot of time sleeping/praying to be reincarnated as a rock in his next life, and hiding in his room/studio writing music. He has a giant soft spot for adorable things, like Kumamon, and also Jimin, whom he pretends to hate. His rap style is very fast, angry and aggressive, and he uses a lot of metaphor and poetry in his music. Check out his solo mixtape Agust D, for a look into his rapper persona. He was a part of the Korean underground hip hop/rap scene before debut, known as Gloss, and he and Rap Monster were involved in a controversy, being accused by the hip hop community of 'selling out' (their beef with B-Free was legendary, and inspired the Cypher series), though they're over that now. He likes writing music that expresses his personal struggles, and that also deals with society/politics on a bigger scale.

6. Kim Namjoon - aka Rap Monster, Rapmon, RM, Pink Mon, God of Destruction

A genius intellectual and Leader of the group. He has an IQ of 148, and graduated top 1% in the nation before realising that blindly pursuing school work wasn't what he wanted, and became a rapper/musician. He also came from the underground rap/hip hop scene, and was known as Runch Randa. Bang Sihyuk, BigHit CEO, spotted him underground and really wanted to give him a chance at success, so BTS was born. He's known for his super fast rap style with amazing flow - he's even regarded in the West as one of the top rappers in the world. He's got a really unique, deep voice that 'sounds American' when he raps. He's a really deep and intelligent person, and he loves different concepts and reads about philosophy, politics and literature in his free time. Nearly all BTS concepts happen because of him. He realised our generation is often regarded as useless, and wanted to create music/be a voice that 'blocked out the bullets of the world'. He writes and produces music, and has a real talent with lyrics. He can speak many languages, and self-taught himself English and Japanese, and he's near-fluent. He LOVES the Kakao character Ryan and has a soft, cuddly side and also a dark, badass side. Called God of Destruction cause he's really clumsy IRL and breaks everything he touches. 

 7. Kim Seokjin - aka Jin, Eat Jin, Dwaejin (Pig Jin in Korean), Eomma (mother), Pink Princess 

Last but not least, we have Jin. He joined BTS while studying Acting at university. He's known as the mother of the group, while Namjoon is basically the dad and Yoongi is the grandpa. He looks after everyone in the house and keeps them in line. He loves cooking and eating delicious food, and has a blog and V Live cooking/mukbang series called Eat Jin, where he stuffs his face with ridiculous amounts of food, acts like a child, talks crap while making bad jokes... and everyone loves the show. He's also the KING of old man/dad jokes - e.g. "what does a cow's laugh sound like? Moo-hahahaha!" - that basically only Jimin laughs at. I don't know how he hasn't run out yet tbh. Although he's listed as the visual of the group, he's got a really beautiful and distinct voice - it's perfect for ballads, slow songs and OST/anime style music, although tbh isn't used much with BTS' hip hop/R&B/trap sound. But listen to his solo covers and single Awake and you'll be blown away by how beautiful it is. He also knows he looks good and doesn't hide it - known for his confidence, he always blows kisses at ARMY and acts aegyo to piss people off. Despite this, he's a giant nerd at heart, and loves the character Mario, and gaming/playing Maplestory in his spare time. A giant sweetheart who loves his children. 

AND THAT'S BASICALLY IT. Kind of. Hope that helped to give a rundown of their different personalities! And I've now wasted too much time on this and need to go do work lol

There’s a reason ARMY is so dedicated/different to other groups. BTS calls us the 8th member of Bangtan, and treat us as equals. We’re here for them as much as they are for us. Because we walk together, and we never let anyone walk alone. And we’re ready to welcome anyone into ARMY! - so WELCOME TO THE BANGTAN FAMILY! :D It’s a bit strange, and the boys are kind of crazy, but it’s still family. Let’s live out our 花樣年華 , create the most beautiful moments in life, and spread our wings and fly.

Review: Kawaii Box Nov 2016

Message of the Month: Have a Pink X-Mas!

(and ironically, I did.)

For the month of November, subscribers were presented with 11 items!

Something I love about Kawaii Box is that even if it feels a little repetitive at times- they give you so much. And for a cheap price!

As usual we’ll get right into it then.

Not Pictured: Kracie Popin’ Cookin’ DIY Pudding Flan Parfait Kit.

Basically, this was eaten BFB (Before Blog, I’ll probably be using that if need-be at times). I did have pictures from when I made it- but I don’t feel like they were worthy of the blog (plus there’s that pic limit). Long story short, I actually don’t like pudding much, and was terrified it’d taste like Banana (something else I’m not crazy over). It was really good! You can find this set online and if you do, I suggest you try it.

Meiji Mini Candy Box - Meiji is another popular brand most people hear of in Japan. They make all sorts of candy, with their most common to find being: Strawberry Smarties (candy coated strawberry chocolate), Coffee Beat (chocolate coated coffee taste), Choco Baby (petite chocolate pieces), Apollo strawberry chocolate (strawberry chocolate candies) and Smarties (candy coated chocolate).

Everyone received one random box- and luckily, I got the one I wanted! Since trying the DIY for them, I always wanted to try the real apollo’s and they did not fail to disappoint. For such a tiny box they really give you a lot too.

And just look at that kawaii Tamagotchi-esque mascot~

Fruit Shaped Sharpener - An adorable... well the name says it for me :3 I’ve yet to use this, considering I actually don’t carry around normal pencils, and the few I still own- I have no idea where they’re at. Available in Watermelon, Orange, Kiwi, Dragon Fruit, and Tomato.

(Yes, a lot more places are calling Tomato a fruit now. Guess its official.)

Anyway, while I haven’t used it, what I do like is that it seems to be made with the intent of using the inside as a pencil shaving collector. Which is always a plus in my book.

Bananya Plush Charm - KAWAII!! Pretty much all there is to say on it. Out of the choices I definitely got the one I’d want. But here’s a pic of the others for you guys to enjoy:

Besides the one I got, I think the black one is the second cutest. But they’re all precious.

Cute Milk 2-Color Pen - HOW CUTE IS THIS?! An adorable cow-themed pen with 2 colors! and look, PINK!

This pen is available in 5 styles, 1 pink, 1 blue, and 4 black with alternate faces. As a pen it works nicely, just remember to be careful when you pull/push down the ears and horn. They’re very delicate, with one side writing in red/pink, and the other side blue.

Pastel Eraser Pen - Did you think they gave us two pens this time around~? You’re close, but there’s no ink! It’s a pen-shaped eraser that works like a led pencil, how cool is that?! and look, again, pink!

(In case you missed my earlier posts, pink is my favorite color~)

These “pens“ are sure to fool friend and family alike as you whip it out of your purse or pencil case. Available in every color of the rainbow (with pink being the substitute for Red).

Here’s an example of the tools in use. I used the pen to doodle a little drawing, and the erase to rid of something I drew with a pencil (led, not a regular one). The eraser works very well, I just left the eraser shavings so that you guys could tell there was something there prior.

Kawaii Christmas Stickers - They’re kawaii, they’re little, they’re perfect for Resin crafts! This little red-nosed Santa is bound to brighten up someone’s day when they watch as he has fun in the winter scenery.

Peep Out! Animal Stick Markers - Do you guys remember those little planner stickers or tabs? Basically that’s what these are, except they’re thicker. These little cuties will keep everything you need to remember for easy access at a given notice. But will your friends and family be able to resist peeping after they see them??

Available in Alpaca, Shiba Inu, Panda, Neko, Bear, Seal and Penguin, Cat paws, and Bunny.

Happy Whistle Keychain - I’ll just say now that I’m not sure the whistle works. It’s advertised to work on the Kawaii Box blog, but when I try it just barely does. It just could be me though- I have asthma, I can’t sit around trying to make it work without getting dizzy XD

Once again I got it in Pink. But it’s also available in pastel yellow, and pastel purple. 

(Was I seriously this lucky, or did everyone else get everything in pink too? They told us to have a Pink X-Mas but everything had variety too.)

Harajuku Hair Accessories - A two set piece with a pop, step, and colorful design!

(anyone get that reference?)

The 2 sets you get are randomized, so you can get these two, a red and pink rainbow with a ! on it and hair clips that match, or pink clips with love you written on it and a normal rainbow with a smiley face on it.

As usual Yoko lent me a hand in showing them off. She thought they were a bit “too Pop“ for her, so I took them out when we finished.

Now, this is the last set. Because of the pic limit I decided to try to find a way to display it that I liked.

DIY Korean Cupcake Set - A fun and easy crafting set available in 3 colors: Pink, Blue, and Yellow (the only pink thing I didn’t get if you notice the box back there). The only real difference between them are colors of the “extra“ items and the plate designs.

Included in the Box are: Plastic Tweezers, 2 wine bottles, a glass, 2 coffee cups, 2 cupcake liners, 4 little plates, a pack of air dry clay, and a container of little deco bits.

I’ll start by saying this is a very cute product and super-easy DIY. But... the quality is a bit bad. I say this because:

1. My clay packet was broken open, so half of the clay was dry and unusable.

2. The stickers on the plates were very loose and I had to press on them to make them “stick“ a little better.

3. Plastic remnants remained on the bottom of a few items and I had to cut/scratch it off with my nails.

Again its a really cute set and I did have fun with what I could use, but you can’t go in expecting top-notch quality with it. It’s quality was very “dollar store kit“ (you know, those kits that are really cheap and come with poor quality products that either don’t work or never look like the picture on the box?).

In the end, I decided not to make a big fuss over the clay, considering I buy my own air dry clay anyway. With what I had, I did try to make something though.

Here you can see Yoko with a decorated cupcake, some fruit slices, and some blue wine. Now, lets enjoy some sweets and continue on with the Cutie Ranking!

Quality - I wasn’t planning to include this, but I felt like i had to here. Everything was fine, except for that cupcake DIY. While I did like it, it would be unfair of me to say everything was perfect when it wasn’t. It had 3 problems with it and I did make them work, but I’m not going to lie. I don’t know when the bag on the clay broke, but I kind of wish someone checked this before it was sent out because I saw it was damaged from outside the box. 4 out of 5.

Content - I really liked the last box, and this box I liked about the same, if a teensy bit less. Everything is so tiny, I got that “dollar store“ vibe again. Cheap or not, when you have bigger items in a previous box it kind of says a lot when you give people tiny things in the next. 4 out of 5.

Practicality - I’ll be forgiving here since I did essentially use everything in the box, which is uncommon. 5 out of 5.  

Total Rank: 13 out of 15 Cuties.

As I said above, I did enjoy this box. The smaller scale items are nice, but it feels like they went cheap and to some people that can be a deal breaker.

If anyone mentions Kelly, Kentucky, you might shake your head and say, “I got nothing.” But for me, August 21, 2017, became a moment of spiritual connection with the universe, a moment with history, and a memory with my daughter and granddaughter I would not trade for anything.

Leaving home Sunday afternoon for the 3 hour trip to South Western Kentucky to camp out under the stars before attending the spot for 100% totality for the solar eclipse that made the United States gather together in friendship with no negative thoughts and no political agenda. The three-hour trip was nice and went by at a quick pace. Only a few stops for gasoline, drinks and a potty break, meant we were right on time. While driving toward the house we were camping outside of, we noticed a few interesting features near the corn and tobacco fields. There is a “Share the Road” sign, but it is the most adorable sign I have ever seen.

  We arrived with enough light to put up the tent and blow up the air mattresses. I admit the air mattresses were a selling point for me. Hips that sleep on a hard ground hurt at my age.

After the mooing cow, howling coyote, and hooting owl quieted down we all grabbed some sleep. A very early morning wake up call by the most cheerful bird ever, meant I had a little time on my hands for my morning relaxation, meditation, and quiet. To me, meditation is scrolling through mail reading blogs. I never learned that “clear your mind” technique.

By nine o’clock everyone was ready to go to the park and attend the Little Green Man Festival.

After leaving the camp site, we ran across some of the “Natural monuments and visitors” in place for the event.  Just a few blocks from the mooing midnight insomniac cow and hooting owl, the festival was laid out for human and canine entertainment.

            Once we arrived at the park,  we began to see the familiar theme that celebrates the local history of the Kelly Kentucky Invasion.  An event that occurred on, August 21, 1955, and has been told and retold throughout the years.  There is a book written by the Taylor Family. Plus several episodes on Discovery channel and other space questioning networks.  The Taylor family members claimed to have encountered at least one and as many as fifteen little silverish men with a green glow and yellow eyes.

Games filled the square such as the hamster ball where children and adults alike were climbing inside and attempting to spin an air filled ball. Bobbing on top of the pool over the water like a hamster wheel. Fun areas of bouncy houses for the kids and even the popular harnessed bungee jumping opportunity, everyone was eating, playing, and laughing as we waited for the designated time. 11:56 AM was when the very first bite was taken out of the top right corner of the Sun by our own small Moon.

Everyone began to claim a chair under the tents so that they could fight off a little of the 93-degree day. With bottles of water and the scent of sunscreen, we crept out of the edges of the tent to see how the moon was progressing. On and on it moved as the children grabbed a quick last ride and one last bounce.

When the countdown began that we were five minutes from the totality, every person grabbed a spot on the grass, looking up, eclipse glasses perched on the nose.  One man wore a welders helmet, I only felt bad for him as he had to be burning up.

Then the magic moment happened. The Moon slipped in front of the Sun and there for one brief breathtaking moment, the diamond ring appeared then utter beauty. A black circle with a dancing halo surrounding it. A burning ball of gas we could safely admire for the next two minutes.

At that time glasses came off and stunned people spun round and round looking at everything at once.  The two planets winking in the sky reminding us that they hide there during the daylight hours all the time, just one brief blink away.

Clapping that had begun at the sight of the diamond ring was abruptly silenced. It was completely silent. No one spoke. Children gripped their eclipse glasses which they had until a moment before been so afraid to look without, in order not to be permanently blinded by a careless glance.

Children laid back on the ground as photos were taken of the complete 380-degree sunset colored horizon.  This was why it was so important to make that trip. This is the thing, you didn’t expect to see.  The air was now almost ten degrees cooler. It felt good, damp hair began to cool in the breeze and for two minutes and forty seconds everyone had a look of awe on their faces, big burly men, dainty women, cool teenagers in designer clothes, and cosplay girls, all stood together feeling the tranquility of the moment.

Then a wink, a blink, and the command, “Put on your glasses, now!”

Twilight began to move off as the afternoon sun began to once again heat the earth with that eons old promise to shine and protect us and give us a habitable environment to call home.  Yes, the moon was still creeping across the front of that glowing orb, but the magic still enveloped us. We all felt connected. We all shared that moment. It was magical.

The minutes had ticked by and we were now ready to move back into the real world. The world of massive traffic jams, five miles an hour treks home. the magic was disbursing.  But there was still a hint of joy. A total stranger won an Eclipse car and we all cheered like he was our baby brother winning. There was still a newness to the event. We had shared a moment. For that two minutes and forty seconds, we were all changed.

Now we needed to return to our lives at home. The schools would be back in session, the boss would expect us to clock in, the hurried drivers would cut off each other and grumble about the traffic. But one thing remained when we all got off on various exits, we stood in line, for the restrooms, the counter to order dinner, or a tall bottle of water to cool off from the heated day, we stood in a line, spoke of what we had seen, and laughed. We smiled, we shared and we felt a kinsmanship with the other 3 million people that were packed onto a two lane parkway heading Nort South East and West.  We all were heading home separately, after one awe inspiring day together.

  When I said we laughed, I meant it. We laughed when Angie found the line between EST and CST on the Parkway in Kentucky.  My daughter is a comedian. We laughed for miles.
