I’d love to see the dauthi soltari and such!
Is the Thalakos "and such", like how Professor and Mary Anne were "the rest"?

Note
What exactly are Thalakos? Could they be merged into an existing creature type?
The Dauthi, Soltari, and Thalakos were Domianrians that aren't quite aligned with reality due to a Phyrexian experiment with their Rathi overlay. They developed into their own spirit-like entities individually.
If I had the option, I would re-type them all as spirits, since that's functionally what they are now. They no longer really have corporeal forms.

Do the shadow shifted peoples, dauthi, thalakos, Soltari from rath overlay still exist on Dominaria, are they still in shadow?
We know they stuck around until the Mending at least, since they appear in Time Spiral. Are they still around today? I don't think that's been answered and likely won't be unless there's a good narrative reason for it.

Mine was a high elf scholar- Who actually grew up in cyrodill. that was researching magic theory and the daedric cults- Mainly on account of the fact that her family had history with daedric princes. However Soltaris does not have a good sense of direction and unknownly crossed the border in search of the ruins into skyrim and got Mc-snatched by the imperials. She wasn't even aware of the war due to her being so enveloped in her own studies. So her entire journey in skyrim is just a giant jumble of confusion
What kind of backstories do players have for their Dragonborn?
Currently working on a future script and would like some input if anyone is willing to share their stories.

Niali
“Chupacabra” by Terry Maranda, © Storm Bunny Studios. Accessed at the artist’s ArtStation here
[The “sheep killer of Niali” was a short lived panic in 2017 and 2018 in the Niali district of Odisha. The creatures were shortly captured, and turned out to be two young wolves, both of which were placed in a zoo. You can read about the government response here. But, like so many mysterious animal killings, rumors of monsters started to spread in the wake of the incident.
So I took this opportunity to make stats for a monster that is a long time coming in Pathfinder-- a canine chupacabra. The modern understanding of a chupacabra is often as a weird dog. PFRPG 1e makes the chupacabra some sort of a reptile, and PFRPG 2e gives it an appearance like a feral grey alien, similar to the original reports from Puerto Rico. But if you want a mystery canine for your game, here’s one you can use.]
Niali CR 3 CN Magical Beast This creature looks something like a hyena and something like a wolf, but with longer legs than either species, and front paws like a man’s hands. It has oversized canine teeth protruding from its mouth.
A niali is a canine vampire, a blood-drinking monster that prefers to prey on livestock. They are clever and quick-fingered, able to pick simple locks and lift gates in pursuit of prey. They are somewhat selective feeders, draining an animal’s blood, gutting it to eat the soft organs, and leaving the muscles and bones behind for other scavengers. A niali leaves no tracks, and is capable of confounding pursuers with a variety of magical abilities.
Niali CR 3 XP 800 CN Medium magical beast Init +6; Senses darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision, Perception +2, scent Defense AC 15, touch 12, flat-footed 13 (+2 Dex, +3 natural) hp 27 (5d10+5) Fort +5, Ref +8, Will +3 Offense Speed 30 ft. All creatures in the area are nauseated for 1d4+1 rounds if they fail a DC 13 Fortitude save; if they succeed, they are sickened for 1d4+1 rounds instead. A niali must wait 1d4 rounds between uses of this ability. The save DC is Constitution based.

Hello Mark! I'd like to request some birthday trivia about my favorite mechanic as a child, Shadow. Thank you so much!
Shadow was in the file before Michael Ryan and I created the story for Tempest, so we added in the Soltari, Thalakos, and Dauthi to the story to justify the existence of the mechanic.
Happy Birthday!

Welcome to the 2023 Atog Awards!
Every year creature types are created and creature types that go unused. So what are the rules for what counts for these calculations?
The creature type has to have at least 1 Black-bordered card that either is, produces a token of, or mentions the creature type.
Reprints don't count. Only new cards being produced.
Creature types of older cards are based off of their current creature types as of Lost Caverns of Ixalan. (There are creature types like Thalakos that have been errata'd onto older cards but have technically never been printed on a physical card)
Changelings / Mistform Ultimus obviously don't count.
Arena exclusive cards do not count.
Silver bordered / Acorn Stamps / Play test cards don't count.
Types that have gone 5-9 years without print are Bronze (Born of the Gods - Guilds of Ravnica)
Types that have gone 10-14 years without print are Silver (Conflux- Theros)
Types that have gone 15-19 years without print are Gold (Darksteel - Shards of Alara)
Types that have gone 20+ years are Cadaverrific. (Mirrodin and older)
So what are our new types?
Time Lord
Doctor
Dalek
Cyberman

So I've always liked the dauthi and we're probably never going to see them again... Is there any way to cure my sorrow for the loss of them and those dirty soltari? Is there another similar race?
Never give up hope for another Time Spiral like set! Modern Horizons was basically another Time Spiral, so a Modern Horizons 2 could include some Dauthi!
