listen I know it’s kind of corny and inaccurate to act like every single person in the dc universe knows each other and is besties but it IS endlessly funny to me to follow the web of connections and see how many degrees removed from each other everyone is.
like look at the arrowfam okay. ollie and dinah are together, ollie is homoerotic best friends with hal, dinah is homoerotic best friends with babs. roy is dating dick, has a kid with jade, and is basically an adoptive father to both grant emerson and rose wilson. connor is dating kyle and is constantly followed around by eddie fyers. mia is friends with a lot of the second gen teen titans kids, had an on-again-off-again thing going on with steph for a while, and is currently dating sienna. emiko is besties with courtney and some of the other recent teen titans. sin has a small army of protective aunts from the birds of prey. the real question is how far does it go before ollie puts a cap on the number of people who are invited to family brunch on sundays

#wip#diy plush#i wasn't entirely sold on the legs last night tbh. i really am just throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks#sewing machines DO help in the process of 'sculpting' a plush. the test legs i had on sharena#one of them. the one that had any sewing on it at all. was hand sewn! and pinned to size#and all i know is that. if i do wanna replicate that. i'll need to turn it and redo it. pain .#so i just. tried something different. the legs here felt too thin? but kind of the perfect length for alfonse#but also. i don't know! one part of me wants them to be sturdy enough so he can stand w ease#but once i add all the bells and whistles like. that may not matter at all. once he's Heavy .#it's been like. a balancing act. to figure out how the body should be in size/shape when i'm planning on#having like. Layers. i have alopecia and ive had a consistent bald spot for like 6 months now which is like unprecedentedly long for me. it's been the biggest ive ever had. it appeared when i was moving out of my childhood home. now i've been back with my family for two weeks and the hair is growing back and like. okay what do i do with that

today was supposed to be a chill day of studying and taking a little walk maybe and if i was feeling super crazy even doing some laundry, but instead i got up at 11am and immediately got my period and was in crazy pain for HOURS unable to sit still but also not comfortable moving around too much it was hell
#i also tried new painkiller that DID NOT help thank you very much lady in the pharmacy that sold them to me#and then i just got ready just to pick up my tips from yesterday bc i worked 10 hours and like my boss#said it was a good amount and we're closed for the next 2/3weeks (thank heavens)#so i just got ready for nothing but at least the pain finally subsided after i took a nap this afternoon#ppl never believe me but napping for some reason does wonders to my period cramps it's like i'm healed afterwards#but it's so difficult to fall asleep when you're in pain 😭😭#anyway rant over i just got myself food yay m ‼️‼️#000

My mom and sister wanted to watch a horror movie today, and of course I'm the Designated Person to choose one so I pirated the new smile movie (it looks regular/modern enough for my normie sister lmao) apparently it hasn't been released digitally yet so we're watching a shitty theater recorded version, which made me realize I haven't seen a movie like that in yearssss (generally I just wait for movies to be streaming somewhere to pirate them) it's like. a lost art<3
#it reminded me of going to ferias as a child w my mom and ask the guy that sold pirated movies on cd what he had<3 amo argentina#also my dad and i used to go to this one guy who had dvd movies to rent in his garage. like an argie illegal blockbuster#he'd offer us the latest movies that were still being shown on theathers and be like estrenos 😎😎#and we'd rent them. and they were theeee shittiest recordings ever at points people standing in the theater blocked most of the footage#but still we watched them and were like gracias capo😎👍🏼 amo argentina#i got so sad when we went and the 'store' wasn't open. we never saw it open again after</3#but!! i love that there are still some people who sell movies on cd around here#the other day i passed by a newsstand(? un puesto de diarios no sé si se dice así shjsj and they had movies on cd with badly edited covers<#respect the grind‼️ que viva Latinoamérica ‼️‼️#anyways back to the movie. people say it's better than the first so we'll see<3#z

It's not a picture intended to gain sympathy‼️‼️ but it made me feel very sad when I saw my little brothers and nieces collecting stones from bombed houses and playing with them because toy stores in Gaza were completely sold out. For a whole year, no toys have been brought in, so the little ones found nothing but stones, some of them with rocket ash on them. Imagine that they are your children or siblings.
PLEASE MAKE A FUTURE FOR MY LITTLE BROTHERS THAT WILL MAKE THEM FORGET WHAT THEY LIVED THROUGH IN THIS WAR.
