Dadphiles!Mephiles Sheet

And with that, I've completed all four of 'em!

This one definitely took the longest. I was originally content with re-using my Mobian Mephiles design, but as I developed the story more, I realized I wanted something more personal. I'm super proud of how this came out.

This is technically "spoilers" since this is toward the end (Post-Forces), but I wanted a design that reflected Mephiles/Solaris' change. And I'm too eager.

🔹When Mephiles recombined with Iblis the second time, Solaris regained empathy. His memories of his time with SSS suddenly weighed heavily on the god, but the destruction of time had already begun and Solaris still was not at full power. So, with the help of the Chaos Emeralds, Solaris sacrifices himself to fix his mistakes and ensure the safety of his sons.

🔹Following the events of Sonic Forces, Solaris is re-awoken... but still very weak. As he regains power, he avoids his sons, believing they do not wish to see him. They prove him wrong.

🔹With a second chance at being their father, Solaris assumes the body of a hedgehog—meticulously designed to reflect each of his sons—and simply becomes "Mephiles the Hedgehog". As a mortal, he is much more vulnerable and limited in his power, even if he were to fully recover from his self-sacrifice. Mephiles is willing to risk such a thing for his sons' happiness and trust.

🔹As Mephiles was taken advantage of the last time he assumed a mortal form (ie. The Flame of Solaris), Mephiles is hesitant to let any others know of his identity, even the ones his children claim are trustworthy friends. Therefore, only those who were in Soleanna know the truth... for now.

🔹Mephiles is introduced to the rest of his sons' friends as their dad who raised them, but disappeared when they were kids. Mephiles admits that it was not a good decision, but explains that he was "injured" and "unable to protect them without risking their futures."

🔹Vector and Espio are the only ones suspicious of this random hedgehog that appeared out of the blue, not long after the War, looking perfectly like all three hedgehogs. Hedgehogs that they know aren't blood-related and who were separated by literal decades. However, since no one else seems to be suspicious, the Chaotix believe everyone else might be brainwashed somehow.

🔹Mephiles realizes their suspicions, but doesn't correct them. Both because he does not trust their intentions yet... and that it also amuses him.

🔹The SSS introduce Tails as their brother and Mephiles immediately accepts him and requests to take on the Prower name just as his sons have. Tails, who was worried about disapproval from his brothers' dad, may or may not have broken down in tears at the easy acceptance.

🔹Vanilla, happy to meet another parent of this rambunctious group, often enjoys sharing stories with Mephiles. Mephiles suddenly has to learn how normal mortal parents raise their children, all to continue his charade. Through her, he slowly learns what it means to truly embrace Parenthood.

🔹Vector is jealous of how friendly the hedgehog has gotten with Vanilla. Once again, Mephiles is amused.

🔹Mephiles enjoys messing with Vector, mostly by "coincidentally" appearing whenever he tries talking to SSS, gifting Vanilla different things, and saying some rather suspicious words. This, of course, makes Vector more paranoid.

🔹Despite looking like a normal hedgehog, Mephiles is composed of pure energy and therefore does not need mortal requirements. He can feign eating but it does nothing for him. He appreciates the flavor, however.

🔹As an entity of time, Mephiles is used to viewing all of time at once. As a mortal, that viewing window is smaller, but still means that sometimes Mephiles will use the wrong slang, terms, and translations or even reference something that does not exist yet or no longer exists.

🔹Mephiles is utterly focused on making the most out of this second chance and is willing to go to great lengths to protect all of his children... Even if it means using methods they may not approve of.

🔹Mephiles is the one who enabled Silver to remain in the past. He also later—by request—makes it so Shadow will age alongside his friends.

🔹Mephiles can communicate with the Master Emerald (and the Chaos Emeralds), often expressing his confusion over various mortal concepts. The Master Emerald finds his bafflement amusing, to his chagrin.

Sonic Genesis: Genesis of the Mobosaurs and Mobinis.

Gaia's and Solaris's group experiments consisted of having different groups of Chao interact with various animals, starting from the Triassic to Cretaceous Period, eventually evolving into Mobosaurs and Mobinis. Mobosaurs and Mobinis were taught by the Xorda to further their evolution, teaching various subjects and using the Gene Machine, turning into a progressively smarter civilization over the generations, one generation had three gifted students. In the Cretaceous Period, three Mobosaurs prodigies called Tria, Creta and Jura, were taught Magick specially by Gaia and Solaris. These three became the Walkers, using their gifts to teach those who could use Magick and help others who couldn’t. At the end of the Period however, a Chaos Meteorite was going to strike Earth, Gaia and a few wanted to stop it but Solaris and the majority went against their vote, wishing to see the affects on the Mobosaurs and Mobinis. The Meteorite struck, creating an ice age, leading to the deaths of all Mobosaurs except Avians, who lived in Babylon and other cities. The Walkers and their followers died but use the Chaos Shards to ascend as ghost, living in the Chaos Force. Mobinis managed to survive and thrive, becoming the dominant species of the planet.

Major Plotpoints So Far:

Scourge "rescues" Infinite from a base built by Eggman Nega with the intention of using him to defeat Sonic, but Infinite quickly asserts his dominance over the situation; Scourge and Infinite agree to an alliance of sorts, but that eventually turns into a mutual familial bond, and they basically adopt each other as father and son figures

Meta (Metal Sonic given a Mobian hedgehog body by Dr. Eggman) discovers Scourge and Infinite and proceeds to be very antagonistic until they are shown kindness and hospitality; Scourge and Meta butt heads at first because Scourge is afraid Meta will replace him in his relationship with Infinite, but Infinite reassures Scourge that this won't happen, and Scourge learns to eventually see Meta as a younger sibling; Scourge, Meta, and Infinite proceed to move into Infinite's old abandoned family home

Scourge accidentally releases Mephiles from his prison after snatching the artifact he was trapped in that was pulled through time thanks to one of Eggman's machines; Mephiles uses Scourge's shadow to take his form, but due to the circumstances of him being out of his own timeline his form is unstable and he must remain close to Scourge in order to tether himself to the timeline; Meta takes interest in Mephiles from a scientific standpoint and decides to study him while Mephiles proceeds to quite dramatically be a nuisance in the three's lives, especially Infinite's; Mephiles eventually takes Infinite's form to mock him but in doing so he becomes weakened, which prompts Meta to suggest he be given his own mortal body as well; Mephiles is given a body and leaves for a short period of time before returning and properly integrating himself into the family because of his attachment to Meta (and Meta's to him); Mephiles and Infinite discover they have feelings for each other despite everything

Flatline pulls Iblis from Mephiles' timeline into theirs and gives her a mortal Mobian hedgehog form like Mephiles' in order to distract Mephiles enough to where he can get at Infinite's Phantom Ruby, except he botched the process and made her body unstable; Mephiles ruins Flatline's plans by rejecting Iblis in the moment in order to save his current family, but he quickly returns to reassure her that he isn't going anywhere and invites her to join them instead; Iblis agrees because of her love for Mephiles, and Flatline is forced to stay with them as well to work with Meta to stabilize Iblis' body; Flatline eventually grows fond of the family despite his initial ulterior motives, and he decides to stay for real even after Iblis is stabilized; Infinite, Mephiles, and Iblis become a triad after Mephiles reassures Infinite that his feelings for him have not changed even with Iblis in the picture now; Mephiles and Iblis discover they can still fuse into Solaris, just in hedgehog form, and they can also unfuse at will

Flatline discovers Julius (Scourge's late father) was revived similarly to how he was revived--wild chaos energy--and pulled across space into their world; Julius stays with the family but everyone kind of hates his guts because they know about how he used to treat Scourge and why Scourge took his life; eventually Scourge confronts Julius and tells him the full and honest truth about how he feels and has always felt, which finally puts things into perspective for Julius; Julius and Scourge slowly but surely begin to mend their relationship

Sonic runs into Scourge one day and discovers Infinite is back, but upon seeing how neither of them care to get into it with him, he becomes curious and decides to talk to Scourge one-on-one for a while, slowly discovering how much Scourge has changed thanks to his living situation; Sonic and Scourge eventually develop feelings for each other, but Sonic makes a point to make sure Scourge knows Shadow will be involved as well, which ends up not being a huge issue for neither Scourge nor Shadow, and the three of them also become a triad

Scourge, Sonic, and Shadow accidentally create a baby when a giant explosion of their combined chaos energy happens during a high-speed race; they name the child Bangarang (or Bang for short) and proceed to raise them together, with Bang staying at Scourge's place for the majority of the time as Sonic and Shadow don't really have a solid housing situation; Mephiles sees Bang and suggests to Infinite that they have a similar child, and when he agrees, they combine their essences using the Phantom Ruby and Mephiles' god powers to create a jackalhog named Moon; Moon and Bang grow up alongside each other, and Moon eventually renames himself to Vacío to honor Infinite; Bang slowly discovers his Doom powers as they part Black Arms like Shadow, and while they have an easy time wrangling those, Vacío struggles with his Phantom Ruby abilities that he inherited from Infinite

Eggman revives Black Doom by giving him a Mobian hedgehog body like he did with Meta, with the intention of using him against Sonic and Shadow; Black Doom only complies with the intention of getting revenge on Shadow and possibly forcing him over to his side finally; Black Doom manages to shake up Scourge's family by subtly and slowly manipulating Scourge, and eventually this leads to Black Doom full-on controlling Scourge's mind; Sonic, Shadow, and the rest of Scourge's family are able to break him free from Black Doom's control in the end

Extra Important Tidbits:

Meta uses they/them pronouns at first, but later realizes she feels happiest when referred to in a feminine way

The entire family hates that Scourge is dating Sonic and Shadow, but they begrudgingly support him because their love for him is stronger than their hatred for Sonic and Shadow

Mephiles and Iblis remember Sonic and Shadow, and Sonic remembers them, but nobody else remembers them as they are from an erased timeline

Iblis is indifferent towards Sonic and Shadow, whereas Mephiles heavily dislikes them both

Infinite is closer to Mephiles than he is with Iblis, but the three of them are still a very solid and healthy polyamorous relationship

The AU takes place a while into the future; Scourge is 23 at the start of the AU, Meta is 22, and Infinite is 37

"Shadows & Lights AU Antagonists - Black Doom, Lyric, Infinite, & Dr. Starline"

Same thing as the previous two, mostly just notes for myself since its probably too small to properly read on here.

The TLDR is under the cut

- Lyric is the last living Ancient and betrayed his kind to ally with Black Doom. It was their fault that the Ancients and nearly all the Black Arms got wiped out by Solaris's Wrath (Mephiles and Iblis). Gaia was saddened by this great loss and shattered the Master Emerald and Phantom Ruby in hopes of preventing this kind of occurrence from happening again, so that the next civilization may prosper. Mobians in the modern day are vaguely reminiscent of the Ancients, but are too different to be considered the same as them

-Mobians were created by Gaia's tears and the charred dirt from Solaris's fire instead, rather than the direct combined powers of Solaris and Chaos like the Ancients were (though then this technically means then that Sonic is also a hybrid like Shadow, and is not fully Mobian like his friends.)

-Lyric is still around in the modern era lurking in some Ancient Ruins and is still allied with Black Doom.

-Black Doom and his 7 War Generals were born from Mephiles the Dark's severed tongue (punishment from Chaos) and a dying star, the rest of the black arms race come from them.

-Dr. Starline rescues Infinite from near death after his mercenary squad's encounter with Team Dark (namely moreso with Shadow's deadly strength), he grants him access to some shards of the Phantom Ruby to help hunt down the Eclipse_Projects (and take his revenge on Shadow and destroy all he loves)

-Starline was once a top scientist at GUN before being discharged for theft of documents regarding the A.R.K. Facility (and the Eclipse_Projects). Eccentric and obsessed with Dr. Thorndyke's work on Project_Light. Dr. Eggman thinks he's a fucking creep in the brief time they 'work together'.

I wanted to draw multiple bad ending versions of Sonic characters together so uh. Here we have a bad ending for Sonic 06, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic Frontiers. Basic concepts include:

A Silver who was given Mephiles' powers and tasked with finishing the job he started, but uh. Silver obviously didn't want to kill Sonic at that point, so he snaps and launches an attack which temporarily stops Mephiles, but also uh....deals the fatal blow to Sonic (who had already been hit by Meph, this is the end of the game). In a good timeline the world does not get destroyed as Silver n Shadow concoct a plan to deal with him. But in the bad timeline? Silver is all that's left outside of Solaris.

The Shadow comes from a uh. Rather messed up AU where Shadow is tasked with proving his loyalty in a bad ending of Shadow the Hedgehog, by which I mean uh....Okay so you know how the Black Arms feed on like. Humans n Mobians. Ya basically Shadow is tasked with doing that. And ofc he doesn't want to so Black Doom uses the hivemind link with Shadow to urge Shadow's Black Arms instincts out and uh...rip Sonic. Again

The Sonic is from a bad end of Frontiers where Sonic does the same thing as the Supreme Titan and absorbs the End, but Sonic, due to his Cyber Corruption and uh. Insane like. Everything about him. Does not die. Instead, he and the End kind of fuse? So uhm. Yea.

The Parting of Blood

Dark Gaia: "You've changed... Where did my sweet, trusting little brother go, hmm?"

Chip: "I think you've mistaken who here has changed. You have become uncaring, and negligent in your duties, marrying some creature and allowing it to corrupt you"

Dark Gaia: "So narrow minded~"

Okay, so, despite the intense art block i mentioned before, i did manage to get this done tonight, i also threw in an unclothed version as a treat and so i can use it as a future reference. I was waiting for inspo to kick in regarding the clothing. People back then were more modest, but Dark Gaia's a disrespectful bastard. For Chip i went with something more similar to the clothing i designed for Prince Null. Just a lot less modern and less revealing.

I also used Null as a basis for how i designed Dark Gaia. He is the most visually close to his actual genetics than the other Mephies, so it made designing Dark Gaia much easier given Dark Gaia is his dad.

I have also decided that the mobian side of Chip and Dark Gaia are lions. I struggled for a long time deciding on what species they would be, besides just ancient/mobian hybrids, but i think lion works best for them. Especially given Mephy is genetically a cat. Cliche, maybe, given they're royalty, but i dig it.

Also regarding their necklaces, it's basically a high tech form of medicine, to ward of the de-evolution plaguing the ancients at the time. It didn't work as intended, however it ensured that Chip never completely lost himself (Dw when Chip gave his to Sonic it didn't effect him, the de-evolution process was over by then). Dark Gaia's broke when he fully transformed into the monster buried within the earth that we all know him now to be, causing his free will to be lost forever to instinctive rage.

Next up, lore. I have been flip flopping about this for a very long time. But i think I've figured out how i believe it happened. The Gaia kingdom, later became Camelot. The people of Soleanna conquered them and took the land. The surviving royal family tied to King Arthur fled, and Sonic descended from them. Basically though, Soleanna not only stole the land from Camelot, but also their culture. Their scriptures, clothing, legends, even architecture, all were taken and absorbed by Soleanna over time. And the eagle that saved the land? It was Chip saving the people from a volcanic eruption, the one that birthed the Eternal Flame, as he put the land back together thousands of years ago at the end of one of his fights with his brother. However, the story of Chip warped over time as all legends do, and people of modern times believe it was an eagle. Some even believe it was Solaris itself. However, the Eternal Flame was nothing more than an egg. Solaris did not exist in its true form until Mephiles and Iblis were born during the lab accident. Though, the true Solaris did copy the appearance of the eagle as best it could once Mephy learned of the legend.

The Solaris twins, no matter the timeline, will never know of their true origins, as their father and the creature that corrupted him hailed from an era too far back in the past for any of the Mephies to see.

And despite their father long since devolving into beastly insanity, their mother still haunts the bloodline. Just like she haunted Dark Gaia.

That's my take on the Gaia twins XDDDD of course it's Dark Gaia's second form instead of his first form, but the most important thing about his part in the story is his corruption. Maybe someday I'll draw how he first looked.

Also in any pictures i draw of them where their real names are used, that part of the text is gonna be censored. I'm gonna keep calling them Chip and Dark Gaia, because pretending their names are lost to time could be extremely fun (and i also don't feel like coming up with real names for them). Plus it leaves me some leeway for if Sega ever decides to properly name them, given we now have info about the Gaian people. Which i totally called, btw~ i fuckin knew they didn't start off as just, The Gaias.

Anyways there you go, probs gonn eat and then conk out again, but they're done, and they're so pretty. Well... Chip is pretty, and then some, Dark Gaia's an ugly bastard but we love him anyway. Mephy and Ibby def got their pretty genes from their mother and uncle, cause they sure didn't get it from their dad.

Three Sovereigns: Sarena Grace

Name: Sarena Grace.

Origin: OC.

AU: Three Sovereigns

Alignment: Good.

Personality: She's very kind and compassionate, incredibly spirited and witty, and wise for her age. Sarena is mischievous and has a stubborn streak a mile long. Once she takes a stance on something, she won't be moved from it! She can get impatient and turns into a sarcastic hedgehog with a sharp tongue when annoyed.

Powers/Abilities: Aquakinesis/Water Manipulation; Expert Medical Training.

Other Important Notes:

Sarena is an adult female Mobian Hedgehog.

She is the Chief Healer of the Elysian Sanctuary and a member of the Elysian Court, and as such, takes her position and responsibilities with extreme seriousness and a little pride.

Her Best Friend is Scratch Fireheart, the Elysian Prophet.

She is one of the few of the cast to have a specified age, and is twenty-one years old.

She is a survivor of the Solaris Event.

First Appearance: Act One, Chapter Four: Elysia.

Dream Voice Actress: Anne Hathaway.

Waitaminute. You said that the SSS proves Mephiles wrong about wanting to see him. How exactly? Does he hear them talking, do they see him in his new Mobian form, do they go out and look for him? I need to know!

When Mephiles/Solaris is partially-resurrected during the events of Forces, he helps them defeat the Eggman Empire before vanishing. (This animatic here!)

Mephiles, at this point, believes the SSS hate him due to the events of Sonic 06 (Mephiles manipulated Silver, denied being the one who “raised” them, and ultimately tried destroying their world.) Therefore, he keeps his distance, helping them in subtle ways.

When they finally track him down, they beg him not to vanish again (as he did in Forces). They then all have a very open and very honest conversation, where they give him a second chance at being an actual father. This is when he creates his mortal disguise.

I actually have the whole scene written out (it happens during the Metal Overlord arc of IDW), but it might not be posted for a long time. I’m still trying to refrain from jumping around the timeline too much… at least until I can figure out earlier timeline divergences.

Everything is a domino effect, so some details might change.

Dump of whatever random doodles on my phone involve Solaris; I don't remember what I've posted or not and I'm too lazy to check.

This guy is like a science experiment to me and I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate that.

Some words and extra doodle or two under the cut

Basic context: I got an AU (Frostbite) where 06 is as canon-compliant (up to and through 06) as possible except I fix shit afterwards and give my own spin on some character motivations. Most stuff is just worldbuilding though. These are a tiny fraction of my Solaris stuff but I don't put much on my phone/don't post much.

Anyway brief descriptions:

1. To me Solaris is a 'sibling' of sorts to Chaos, and also has 8 forms. This is a concept for Solaris 6; essentially a Persian Simurgh. 'Perfect Solaris' would be different from the boss fight we see, although similar; the boss fight Solaris is pretty god-equivalent-to-sick and is also too busy trying to deal with fixing Time to make himself 'presentable'.

2. His design is still changing a bit, but a kind of 'mobian' version of him. One more like how I normally do things, one more Sonic-y. I do not like the Sonic-y one. Nowadays Solaris 0 is more in the middle leaning Sonic, and Solaris 1 is a bit beastier but still close to the other one.

3. After Solaris is allowed to Solaris he might occaaaasionally go hedgehog for a bit; he was one for ~211 years so he's used to it. Gonna be cunty about it though, cause he's just like that. Shadow and Sonic look a bit young (if linear progression of time applies and we say Sonic is ~14 or so for Adventure, then for me that'd mean he's at least 16 for 06, and this couldn't take place until like 2 years later so I guess he'd be a whole-ass adult by then) but maybe they're the kind of people who just have baby-faces idk

Anyway some rougher stuff that's either real early practice or I'm hemming and hawwing over making 'canon' to the AU

Okay I just tried listing them all and idk if I got all of them but 🫶 we slay

My Sol Dimension OCs:

Grim the Goat (He's kinda a replacement for Eggman Nega, so he's the main antagonist in my version of the Sol Dimension. He's a skeleton goat who's a wizard and basically immoral. He's SUUUPER silly tho. He runs a lil ship with his niece, Lanolin (Yeah, I throw her in because she doesn't have a place in this AU) and she's always mega stressed because Grim does the stupidest and wackiest things.)

Cove the Wren (Kinda takes the role of Tikal/Knuckles for the Sol Dimension. He lives on Sky Babylon protecting the Master Emerald. He's actually an adult, so that's why he is the main protector. The rest of the Babylonians aren't extinct though, so good for him!)

Solaris the God of Destruction (I yoinked the name!! She's the Sol Dimension's version of Chaos. She's a wisp and lives outside the Master Emerald. She takes on the shape of a mobian phoenix, and she actually has wings. She's perfect much nonverbal, but she can make sounds like cats would lol, their chirps and hissing. She's attached to Cove, since he's been guarding her so long.)

My Future Timeline OC:

Steel the Hedgehog (She's Silver's mother, and since this AU is a DADow AU... You can fill in the blanks. She's courageous and kind of impulsive. She's somewhere on the Aroace spectrum, but she fell for Shadow after he saved her once. She's kinda insane but she's a girlboss for it. She gets killed by Mephiles when Silver is an infant LOL.)

Main AU OC:

Zurui the Chameleon (She was in the Dojo that Espio grew up with, and she was one of the people who trained him. Idk if she was his mother or what. The dojo was really strict, actually abusive when people didn't meet the standard, so Espio left.)

Fankid AU:

Spirit the Hedgehog (Weak kid with a few health problems. He's the result of Project Spirit, and was made to see spirits, hence the name. He is the first successful attempt, but is physically weak because of it. Shadow rescues him and Spitfire from whoever made them, and so Spirit grows up normally, taking interest in stuff like art, literature, and mechanics. When Spirit starts seeing ghosts, he gets to interact with Maria, whose ghost was still hanging around Shadow since she hadn't moved on yet. Spirit and Maria get to interact, and they become friends, telling each other things. Scares the hell out of Shadow tho LOL. Eventually, Spirit learns how to project spirits using chaos energy, and Shadow almost CRIES LOL... HIS SISTERRRR)

Spitfire the Hedgehog (Spitfire was made to defend the lab and is more of a power type, but was taken away as an infant. As she grew up, she had to start defending Spirit, since he's weak and kinda strange lol. When Spark comes into the picture, she has to make sure Spirit doesn't get hurt, or worse. Spark only being interested in Spirit makes Spitfire insecure, since she starts to think she isn't good enough. It's okay she gets a girlfriend who's very nice. Spitfire is very energetic and a thrill seeker, she's a bit crazy but she's a good person.)

Spark the Hedgehog (The youngest and fastest of the three, made from the leftover DNA of Sonic and Shadow, but he was altered enough so he looks their age. Spark sees himself as a pawn, just a tool to be used, he believes he doesn't have autonomy and just bends to the will of who's commanding him. He was created for the sole purpose of retrieving Spirit due to Spirits abilities, but has been stopped by Spirit's family. I've thought about having something where Spark injures Spirit, and it breaks his worldview a bit)

Silvaze:

Smolder the Hedgehog (He's the heir to the throne of Soleanna (I use the name for Blaze's kingdom bc I wouldn't use it in my 06). Oldest of 3, and the one without powers. He has a physical prowess though, so that makes up for it. He's responsible and booksmart, he wants to prove himself to be a good role model and eventual ruler.)

Ash the Cat (Middle child, who was originally going to be the youngest until I made Ember, lol. She's transfem, and her parents are very supportive of her. She's currently the least fleshed out, since Ember took a lot of her concepts lol. She has psychokinesis tho! I really really need to flesh her out...)

Ember the Cat (Youngest child, she was trained to guard the Sol Emeralds, and has pyrokinesis. She also is being trained to keep relations and communication between Sky Babylon and Soleanna, becoming great friends with Tide, who is in line to be the next protector of the Master Emerald. Her and Tide end up dating btw 💕. Ember is shy but appears reserved and mature. Ember's "burning" form is called "Ignited Ember".)

Sonilver:

Cobalt the Hedgehog (Created when Silver and Sonic used the Time Stones simultaneously. They have control over time, freely passing through it. They have seen a lot of history, and has found it interesting, but hadn't truly befriended anyone. Silver eventually finds them, and offers them a choice to live with him. They eventually decide to reach out, and they do become like family to Silver, and eventually to Sonic too. Silver and Sonic aren't together tho lol. Cobalt is AMAB but is kinda genderfluid/gender apathetic and goes by all pronouns. They identify with different parts of masculinity and femininity)

Non-ship fankid AU OCs:

Tide the Dove (The student of Cove's successor, who is going to be the guardian of the Master Emerald one day. He's shy but polite, appearing awkward at times. He had a crush on Ember for a while, but Ember actually asked him out first lol.)

Hearts the Chinchilla (Very polite and friendly, and she has a interest in baking and crochet. Spitfire fell for her and now they're girlfriends. She's very different from Spitfire, and that's why Spitfire likes her. She also gets along with Spirit.)

Hazard the Biolizard (She's just the Biolizard if she was more like Mobian. I don't have a lot down for her personality yet but she's another ARK sibling. Girlfail.)

Melody the Chao (Just a Chao I had in my playthrough of SA2. Knuckles is a single mother bc Knuckles was the only one I'd bring to the Chao Garden for a lil while lol)

Crack Theory Time!!!

The Sonic universe seems to have elemental gods; Fire - Solaris, Water - Chaos, and Earth - Gaia. But there isn't an Air based god. Or is there?

Sonic himself has a lot of association with air, attacks like Sonic Wind in Adventure 2, Being the Knight of the Wind, and even his speed in general can be read as an association with the air element.

He also has a unique connection to the Chaos Emeralds. The only other characters with a similar connection to them are Shadow and Silver.

Shadow is easy to explain, we know that it's heavily implied that Professor Gerald based Shadow off of the prophetic mural on Angel Island, so Shadow's connection to the Emeralds could be explained as being derivative of Sonic's abilities. And as a fan of the theory that Silver is descended from either Sonic or Shadow, that also explains his abilities.

But even Shadow and Silver's Chaos powers don't quite match up to Sonic's. They have only shown to be capable of using the Chaos Emeralds, whereas Sonic has successfully Chaos Controlled with a fake Emerald, when he had never even done it with a real emerald.

Shadow even says in the Final Hazard fight that Sonic may be the True Ultimate Lifeform. With Shadow being created for that exact role, based in Sonic's image, Shadow could be argued as being a false god.

Also I think I've accidentally just positioned Shadow as the equivalent of the antichrist, but thanks to power of Amy Rose, he didn't actually follow through on the whole destroying the world thing so let's just ignore that part

Also the only character who has successfully killed Sonic is Mephiles, who is literally half of a god. Nobody else has ever really hurt Sonic in a way that matters, even when in Forces he was supposedly tortured for literal months, the second he's on screen he's completely fine.

Combining that with the fact that every Mobian god that's been taken down has involved him in the fight, perhaps a god is needed to kill a god. No, needing help to stop Solaris doesn't break this, we just established that Shadow is basically a man-made god and Silver is probably a demigod.

So uh, Sonic is the Mobian god of Air in mortal form.
