New Logo for Angry British Conservative: A Bold Shift
As the Angry British Conservative continues to grow and evolve, it’s only fitting that the branding reflects that journey. After much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to update the logo for the podcast. I’m excited to share it with you today.
My previous logo was clean, modern, and sleek. While it captured a sense of professionalism, it didn’t match the fiery energy and passion that the content embodies. As seen below.
Tumblr media
The bold ideas, strong stances, and unapologetic tone were not quite represented in the minimalistic design. It was great for a time, but as the message behind Angry British Conservative became more vivid, it felt like the logo needed to evolve with it.
So, I set out to create something new, something with more raw energy. After experimenting with a few concepts, I came up with a design that resonates much more deeply with the spirit of the podcast and blog.
The new logo brings a vintage, textured feel to the forefront, featuring a Union Jack with a slightly distressed effect.
Tumblr media
This approach gives the logo an almost rebellious tone, a reflection of the unapologetic, grassroots nature that Angry British Conservative stands for. It has a weathered, worn look that evokes a sense of history and tradition while still making a strong statement. There’s a certain ruggedness in it now that wasn’t present before, and it feels much more in line with the passion behind the message.
This updated logo isn’t just a cosmetic change; it’s a reflection of the direction in which the Angry British Conservative brand is heading. It’s about standing firm in beliefs, embracing history, and forging ahead with the determination to be heard, even when the road is tough. It’s bold, it’s raw, and it’s undeniably real.
So, as the logo changes, I hope you continue to follow the journey as the podcast and blog tackle the challenges of modern life with the same fervor and conviction they always have. With the new logo, we’re doubling down on the unapologetic, traditional, and passionate message that defines Angry British Conservatives.
Let me know what you think of the new design!

Why indie sucks?
Because it feels like it lacks essence. It’s like a rock stripped of its ontology—deprived of force, unable to transcend the ennui it claims to oppose. Its minimalism doesn’t dialectically challenge, doesn’t engage in praxis, doesn’t descend into the phenomenology of real struggle. Instead, it retreats behind an aesthetic facade that aspires to sophistication but reveals itself as hollow, disconnected from any authentic being-in-the-world. It’s the ideal background noise for a generation that confuses contemplative inertia with critical thought. And therein lies its gravest failure: it’s not just incapable of disrupting; it doesn’t even know how to dissent. It presents itself to the world as a sterile murmur, too preoccupied with preserving its curated simulacrum to risk any real confrontation.
Indie, as a cultural phenomenon, reflects a more profound issue than its music. It mirrors a privileged class that, under the guise of alterity, replicates structures of exclusion and domination. It’s not merely about the sanitized chords or the repetitive lyrical fixation—perpetually orbiting the existential vacuum of “I was abandoned; I suffer.” What’s most disconcerting is the underlying ideological framework: a scene dominated by individuals who trivialize systemic issues while perpetuating elitist and ethically questionable practices.
Adorno, in his critique of mass culture, argued that cultural products often disguise social hierarchies under the illusion of autonomy. Indie exemplifies this perfectly: a genre marketed as genuine and accessible, but operating as an exclusive sphere, inhabited by those who perform sensitivity while constructing invisible barriers of privilege. It’s no stretch to see how this dynamic extends into more insidious territories: from the normalization of symbolic violence to the tacit enabling of explicit abuses, all obscured under the veil of artistic solidarity.
The problem isn’t minimalism itself; it’s how it’s deployed. In indie, the minimal lacks phenomenological depth. It doesn’t open horizons or create dialectical tension; it remains static, a posture devoid of movement or becoming. It’s a genre that aspires to profundity but remains bound by superficiality, as if it fears the rupture that comes with engaging the Real. That’s why I say it lacks substance: it’s bereft of the visceral intensity that transforms music into an act of resistance or an assertion of vital existence.
Ultimately, indie doesn’t disturb. It doesn’t negate, doesn’t transform, doesn’t demand a reckoning. Its aesthetic of fragility and restraint isn’t a revolutionary gesture but a retreat into passivity, a refusal to confront the contradictions of existence. Perhaps that’s why it feels so vacuous—because in its obsessive pursuit of differentiation, it becomes the most comfortably assimilated expression of all.

Viral Sacrifice
House of cards collapses
Stock market crashes
Billionaires cry
While the people die
No tears for the workers plight
Only fear losing their economic might
Corporatists manipulate policy
And the media spews the hypocrisy
Infinite money for corporate bailouts and wars
Money to feed your family, there is just no more
Free market capitalism when everything runs well
Socialism for the rich, when everything goes to hell
Sacrifice human lives to “save” the nation
When it was humans that led to it’s creation
But it’s not the nation that needs saving, just the economy
That’s the white flash that blinds you, the ugly truth of the elite’s false dichonomy
To have you think you MUST sacrifice your life or the country is doomed
The results of having lost their souls, by greed they have been consumed
The insipid poison we drank for years has done it’s job
Mad men send death threats to health experts, while claiming to love God
The madness runs so deep
Further then you or I could ever reach
People willing to die to prop up the rich
It must be a glitch
In the system
Of the human condition
Or rather conditioned to search for easy solutions to complex problems
Still, dying for elites won’t solve them
Citizens taught to distrust facts
Present empirical data and we feel attacked
No wonder we are dying in droves
Mass graves being dug right now, you didn’t know?
You didn’t know it’s normal to want to survive?
To not value the oligarchy over your own life?
When did America the Free
Become America the land of the Elites?
The paper thin veil lifted by COVID-19
The real America, a sorry sight to see
Your desire to keep your family safe, scoffed at and called “laziness”
The ruling class sacrificing you?
Saintliness
Bear witness to it all
Bear witness to the curtain call
The true virus has been with us all along
Those who sit in shadow and drink our blood
They paint a beautiful picture to fool us
So we chase
So we race
Towards giving all that we are, so they can feast
So they can eat, while we trudge
Through the dead bodies of our kin, through flesh and mud
And as we look above from our toil
Look to the heavens and see the royals
Constantly singing
Foolish twisted American ideology
The real sickness was always
A political system that submits to the oligarchy

Welcome
I welcome laughter from your kind Who mock and scorn me like a fool: What I know well would make you drool In pools whose forms pollute my mind.
I welcome glares that think me odd In how I wander to and fro: Your line of sight is far too low To see the truth apart from fraud.
I welcome what you deem as weak And brand it well upon my chest Whose heart within knows little rest In aiding those you deem a freak.
Yet I will never welcome you Who seek a darkened veil at dawn. When shadowed paths are blindly drawn, You best not weep when death is due.

Bro, why you be like that?
Bro, why you be like that?
“Like, everyone in America should basically change to adopt baseball hotdogs apple pie and Chevrolet as their cultural identity.” Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you.
“We need a unified cultural identity and to discourage the celebration of international cultures. America is a melting pot, not a simmering pot, we are all supposed to melt into the same substance.” Yes, Chad, we are all supposed to melt into straight white men who like football, deporting Mexicans, and fucking 18 year old college virgins.
Fuck, I turned nineteen and I still didn’t get fucked. Well I’m fucked, aren’t I?
But wait, shit, if we are all straight men, then there won’t be any women to fuck. There’s always the hole cut into an abused teddy bear to turn to. A female teddy bear. Of course she’s female, she’s fucking pink! What do you think I am, gay? You think I would center my cultural identity around fucking a male teddy bear? Hell no!
“Oh, when the Italians and Irish integrated into America, the racism towards them ended,” you say.
And have you ever been to Hawaii? Have you ever been to a place where surprise, most people aren’t fucking white? You want me to give up purple ube ice cream served with coconut, apricot, condensed milk, and navy beans? Give up shrimp tempura and steamed white rice and chicken adobo and anything other than microwave tv dinners with more sodium than the Dead Sea?  So you can assimilate? So you can feel comfortable? You want the black girl in your computer science class to stop coming to class in dreads? You want the Chinese foreign exchange students to stop using chopsticks and stop talking about how much better food at home tastes than the pathetic dry rice and cheap noodles soaked in soy sauce and labeled “Asian” at the cafeteria?
I have so much potential, I really think I do. My potential is mgh, and I want nothing more than to maximize my height and convert it to kinetic energy at 9.8 m/s^2.
“DON’T YOU GET IT YOU STUPID WHORE IT IS YOUR FAULT THAT EVERYTHING IS SO AWFUL IT IS YOUR FAULT EVERYONE WANTS TO KILL THEMSELVES AND EACH OTHER.” Fine, I’ll eat a fucking burger and fries, then. Are you happy? Does that make it all better?
“We’re all the same inside,” you say.
You’re full of shit. You never thought we were the same. You always knew you were better, because you’re not a snowflake who identifies as gay or bi or trans and you don’t write poems about the trauma of being a person of color because you never lived it and fuck you if you have; it’s all your fault because you didn’t want to get along and play the white man’s game.

I find inner peace in the autumn. So sad that daily life don't let me enjoy autumn as much as I could. If I just would be a person who gives 100 % fuck of other people. Sometimes I curse my high sensivity so much. It's so much exhausting to learn setting boundaries to the agony in this world, to other people, mainly to people that are close to my heart. I think my cat helps me a lot. He is intelligent, demands love, peace and silence. He shows me what is important in life. And he often brings me back down to earth. Love him so much. And sometimes I hate humanity, the society and achievement-oriented society. I'm sorry to say that. Sorry not sorry. No wonder to sicken. Good night. . . . #autumnvibes #autumncravings #innerpeace #society #socialcriticism #fckppl #badmood #thoughts #highsensitive #hsp https://www.instagram.com/p/CWRRhtyMRdM/?utm_medium=tumblr
