Hey everyone... I saw the other reblogs and the were beautiful and I love them and you should go show them love and support BUT this story has been floating in my head and I would like to write my version {which will be extremely similar to the others BUT I love Janus and would like him to not be the bad guy... so think of this of an au of this hc I guess}
-----
Thomas had just woken up, which meant it was time for Virgil to go help Thomas make it through the day. Virgil left his room and began to make his way downstairs when all of a sudden he heard a yell, he turned towards the noise and saw a shocked formal looking side.
"Uh h-" Virgil went to greet him before he was cut off by a different voice
"Who. Are. You?" Said a side who looked like they were closet cosplaying every Disney prince combined, who was dawning a samurai sword strangely enough.
"I- I'm anxiety" Virgil responded nervously
"Why the hell are you here, Thomas doesn't need you, no one does" Virgil felt taken aback, he's a bit nervous to talk back considering the sword, but he's supposed to be there just as much as the rest of them, right?
"I- b-but-" Virgil is trying to get a sentence out but his mind is racing and his throat is starting to close.
"But what? Spit it out or," The "prince" 's grip tightens on the sword he's holding, though he stands his ground infront of two other sides, the one with a cardigan around his neck grips Roman's jacket, "get lost."
Virgil tried to get any words out of throat but instead all he got was his own racing thoughts and stinging behind his eyes. He walks back up the stairs and hears the other sides breathe a breath of relief and return to their happy banter they were having before he walked in. Virgil collapsed on his bed and finally he let muffled sobs escape his chest. He wasn't trying to scare anyone, he just- he was helpful right? Maybe he wasn't helpful after all, just like he had feared. Maybe he truly was there to cause distress. He fell asleep crying.
---
Time and time again he tried going downstairs but he would go back up to his room after being berated by the Prince guy, or freaking out the light blue side, or getting nervous and watchful glares from the formal side. He eventually stopped trying to help the three of them as he mostly seemed to be an annoyance, and favoring staying in his room instead and allowing his thoughts to consume him.
The only time he was able to not be a nuisance to the other sides was at night when Thomas was about to fall asleep, it was the only time he was able to talk to him. Though, he did occasionally get thrown out when Princey couldn't sleep either.
One thing Virgil enjoyed doing though, was sitting at the top of the stairs and eavesdrop on athe three other side who he found out were Morality, Logic, and Creativity. He enjoyed listening to them talk, and pretending that they talked to him too.
---
One day when Virgil was listening to Logic explain something he found intresting he was pulled out his thoughts by an unfamiliar voice.
"Hey, you seem cool. You wanna come hang out with us?" Virgil turned to see a side dressed similarly to Creativity except he seems to like black and green, bent over towards Virgil {a little too close} with a wide grin on his face.
"U-us?" Virgil asked confused considering he only saw green creativity{?}.
"Hello" Virgil heard a voice from the shadows {Totally not creepy} and a yellow gloved hand wave to him.
"Oh oh by the way, I'm creativity" Also Creativity said as he stood up straight and extended his hand to Virgil. "So what do you say wanna come with us?" Virgil glanced down at Logic remembering how apprehensive he was around him, at Morality who was so scared he would hide behind Princey and hold his jacket, and finally at Princey who when they first met had told him "Thomas doesn't need you, no one does" and those words still haunted him everytime he closed his eyes.
And then he looked at Creativity who said he was cool and seem eager to get to know him, and the not-at-all-creepy shadow figure in the hallway who smiled at him too, and he took Creativity's hand.
"I'm anxiety"
"Ooooo, well anxiety do you like Dance Dance Revolution?"
-------
It had been several months since Virgil decided to follow Creativity into their hangout. He learned that this Creativity's name is Remus and is essentially thoughts doesn't want to have, and while he never learned the other sides name, he did tell Virgil he has the role of Deceit though.
Living with them especially Remus had been... stressful to say the least but it was also the first time he felt wanted and, Deceit had even told him how cool it was he was anxiety and that Thomas is lucky to have him.
Unfortunately though despite all this he wanted so desperately to go back to the other sides. He was tired of being ignored and thanks to his time with "The Dark Sides" {it's what Remus called them} he had learned not to take crap. And it was time that Thomas finally heard him.
So, he went back to his room upstairs away from Deceit and Remus in the middle of the night, knowing he'd be able to talk to Thomas unbothered.
And he went downstairs in the morning, and didn't leave even after the groans or fears exclamations, and Princey didn't seem to be as eager with his sword so he stuck around. And FINALLY the sides would listen to him, even if they didn't particularly always like what he was saying.

Thanks for reading everyone!! I will make a part two if there is demand for it but I think I closed it up pretty okay :}
Angst idea
During Thomasâ preteen years everytime Virgil got near Patton or Logan, Roman would stand between them and draw his sword. They were a lot younger then and they didnât understand each other like they do now. Anxiety scared them all even though he was just trying to help in his own way, partially because of the way he went about it, partially cause no one wants to be anxious and they were kids.
Logan would always tell Roman he was being excessive but he would screech Romanâs name if Anxiety was there and Roman wasnât.
Patton always told Roman not to be mean when he started insulting Anxiety, but he did cower behind the creative side while he did it.
Virgil would put on a tough guy act âYou think Iâm scared of a sword Princey?â and he was, but more than that it hurt to watch the rest of Thomas hating him so much.

âlost in translation.
pairing: hwang hyunjin x reader
genre: a little angst, fluff, best friendâs little brother au, friends to lovers, pininggggg, miscommunication (gone right?)
word count: 5.2k
summary: hyunjin needed answers and he needed them now. even if it meant showing up at your place late at night with a few drinks in his system, ready for things to go either terribly wrong or incredibly right.
warnings: miscommunication, mentions of alcohol and drinking
authorâs note: hellooo, and thank you so much for being so patient<3 this is part 23 of my social media au âheart outâ. part 24 will be written as well, so donât worry if there were a few things left unsaid in this one lol. as always, i hope you guys enjoy! if you do, please donât forget to leave an ask or a comment telling me your thoughts on it<3
Hyunjin was usually a very chill and spontaneous person. He did things when he felt like it, without really giving it much thought. If he wanted to do something and it felt right, then why would he hold back? He could always deal with the consequences of his own actions later.
When it came to you, however, he was the complete opposite.
Ever since he met you, he had been tiptoeing his way around your heart.
He wanted to do things right when it came to you, and, as a result, his interactions with you throughout the years tended to end up with him overthinking instead of doing.
Starting with him hiding his feelings and keeping his interactions with you to the minimum when he was still a high schooler, to him still hiding his feelings while trying to get closer to you when he entered university, to then still say nothing about them when you started dating Mingyu, up until now, that he finally got another shot at getting close to you, yet he still refused to confess his feelings until you were ready to hear it.
And that was the thing, if it were up to him and acting accordingly to how he felt in the moment, he wouldâve confessed a long time ago â probably back in his first year of university, particularly when he found out you and Mingyu were dating and he felt like calling you up and letting it all out. But he wouldnât, because although it would be a huge weight to get off his shoulders, he wouldnât want you to deal with the burden of knowing he loved you when you didnât love him back; not like that, at least.
He wouldnât confess, because he didnât want you to feel bad for not being there just yet, if ever.
He didnât want to ruin what the two of you had because of a whim, and so he decided to deal with his feelings on his own. Until he knew for sure that you were ready to hear a confession from him, he wouldnât say the words out loud to you.
Of course, that was up until this evening.
After coming to the conclusion that Dahye had followed her word and told you about his feelings for you, and having you distance yourself from him ever since, which could only mean you didnât feel the same and were preparing to turn him down; and, furthermore, after hearing from Yeji that you wouldnât mind going out with her twenty three year old coworker once you were ready to date again, there was no room in his head for him to think of the consequences of confessing to you anymore.
If you were turning him down anyway, if you were going out with someone else anyway⌠if he was losing you anyway, then what did he have to lose by finally letting you know how deeply he felt for you?
Maybe it was the alcohol heâd been consuming with his friends that night, or maybe it was just him simply not giving a fuck anymore â maybe both.
Whatever it was, it was giving him the final push he needed, for he was now standing outside your building, ignoring the freezing breeze of the night âas the black cotton sportswear he was wearing did little to nothing to keep him warmâ, while he desperately texted you in hopes of you being awake and letting him come up, so you would finally get to talk and turn him down if thatâs what you wanted to do in the end.
If you were turning him down at one point in the next two days, he would rather have you do it now.
He felt like he was going insane; like no matter what the outcome was, whether you turned him down or not, he would collapse if he didnât get an answer within the next few minutes.
When you wouldnât answer his texts and there were no signs of you being online, he decided to call you instead. He wasnât giving up that easily that night, if at all.
It only took one missed call and ten more seconds waiting on the line for you to pick up.
âHyunie?â Your sleepy yet worried voice was enough to quiet his running thoughts down. âSomething happened? Are you alright?â
He stayed silent for a moment, staring up at your window.
âHyunie?â You repeated. He heard you shift in your bed, and then he saw the light in your room turn on. âAre you there?â
âCan I come up?â He asked quietly.
Silence filled the line for a moment. âWhat?â
âI texted you⌠I think you didnât see itâ he explained. âIâm outside your building. Can I please come up? I know itâs late, but I need to talk to you nowâ.
âY-Yeah⌠of courseâ you failed to hide how taken aback you were. âHelp yourself inâ.
âOkayâŚâ
Hanging up, his eyes went to the front door to your building, and he suddenly felt the weight of what was about to come on his shoulders. But he was already here, and even if he turned around and went home instead, he knew he would not be able to sleep for the second night in a row as long as he didnât clear things up with you.
He was already here and you were waiting for him upstairs, so he might as well rushed up to you.
-â-â-â-â-â-â-â-â-âĄ
Entering the passcode he knew by heart, he made his way into your place; taking off his shoes and putting on the slippers you kept by the door for your guests, which he knew were pretty much his by now.
As expected, all the lights were out except from the one in your bedroom, where he caught you coming out from.
He would never get tired of seeing you barefaced; and the slightly messy hair you were running your fingers through in a quick attempt to fix, along with the pastel pink silk pyjamas you were wearing, could only make him adore you even more. However, you looked tired, and he couldnât help but feel bad for waking you up.
âHeyâ he mumbled, suddenly feeling the madness inside his head calm down at the mere sight of you.
âHeyâŚâ you softly greeted him back, leaning against your doorframe and resting your head on it. âDid something happen?â
He denied with his head, coming closer to you. âJust couldnât wait anymore to talk to you, Iâm sorryâ.
âItâs okay,â you reassured him, slightly frowning when you got a closer look at him. âHave you been drinking?â
A small, surprised pout formed on his lips. What gave it away? His eyes? Was he reeking of alcohol? Or did you know him so well that a simple look at him was enough for you to tell when something was off?
âJust had a few drinks with the boys, itâs nothingâ he brushed it off.
âYou didnât drive here, did you?â
âNo, of course notâ he was the one to frown this time. âIâm fine, thoughâ.
You said nothing, but he caught the hesitation in your eyes.
âIâm fine, Y/Nâ he reassured you one last time. âI didnât drink that much anywayâ.
Just enough for his inhibitions to shut down; not enough not to realise what he was doing.
âOkayâŚâ you decided to believe him.
With a light tilt of your head, you invited him into your room, where the lightning was better â although the dim light coming from the white lamp on your nightstand could only make him feel sleepier.
You sat down on the edge of your unmade bed, as youâd been sleeping up until he called you, and motioned for him to do the same. Once he did, silence was fast to take over.
âUm⌠Iâm notâI wasnât really prepared to talk about this now,â you messily tried to come up with the right way to approach the issue. âSo I donât know where to begin, if Iâm honestâŚâ
He understood what you were feeling perfectly. In all honesty, although he had come all the way over here to get the answer he so badly needed, he, too, didnât know where to begin.
There was so much to say, so much to ask, so many ways to word his questions, that his mind went blank.
So, he said the first thing he could think of right then.
âDahye told you, didnât she?â
You looked distressed at the mention of her, and that was enough for him to get the answer he was dreading. âSorry?â
âShe talked to you?â He rephrased it.
âMhmâŚâ you nodded, looking down to your lap. âShe didâ.
âAnd is that why youâve been so distant?â Hyunjin asked carefully.
You nodded again, silently. âIâm sorry, I just needed some time to thinkâ your eyes went back up to lock with his. âHowâd you know she talked to me?â
âShe kinda threatened me with telling you, soâŚâ he rolled his eyes.
âOh⌠thatâsâŚâ
Crazy. She was crazy.
Hyunjin nodded, not needing to hear any words coming out of your mouth to understand what you wanted to say. âI know. I should learn not to underestimate herâ.
âYeah, I probably should, tooâŚâ you smiled weakly. âGood thing I realised something was off and didnât believe her in the endâ.
âWait, what?â His eyebrows furrowed.
Something was off? You didnât believe her?
âI didnât believe her,â you repeated. âI was a bit shaken up at first, and thatâs why I took some distance from you. I just needed to think about it with a cold head, but all along I didnât want to believe it was true, so ultimately I didnât. It didnât sound like you at allâ.
Was he tripping? Was he really way more drunk than he thought for your words to make no sense to him?
âYou didnât⌠want to?â Hyunjinâs heart ached, mostly hung up on those words of yours. âWould it be that bad if it was true?â
âYes,â you replied in a heartbeat. âIâm sorry, but I wouldnât be able to let myself fall for you if that was the case, Hyunjinâ.
I wouldnât be able to let myself fall for you if Dahye will always be there and I knew youâd go back to her whenever you get tired of me; is what you meant.
It would be bad if it was true that youâre in love with me, because I wouldnât be able to let myself fall for you and ever love you back; is what he heard.
Just like that, for the fourth time in his life, once again because of you, his heart broke.
Although heâd come here knowing well enough that getting turned down by you was a very high possibility, actually hearing you so tactlessly say those words to him right then, and getting every chance of ever being with you crushed into pieces just like that, had his heart hurting in a way it had never before.
Feeling physically ill and finding it hard to breathe, he stood up, pacing around your room for a few seconds before he looked for support on the wall by leaning his back on it.
This mightâve been his worst heartbreak yet, for unlike the previous times, heâd let himself be led on. This time, he really thought that there was something going on between the two of you. All the reciprocated flirting and touches⌠had it all been him? Did you really not realise what youâd been doing to him all along?
âHyunieâŚâ you whispered, feeling your own heart break at the sight of him and going up to him, unable to give into your own sorrow as he seemed to have just confirmed that what Dahye told you was indeed true.
He closed his eyes as he tilted his head up to keep the tears from coming out of them.
Donât cry, donât cry, donât cry.
He defeatedly shook his head when you placed your hand on his shoulder, rubbing his hands on his eyes to wipe the oncoming tears before he tried to walk away. âIâm sorry, this wasnât a goodâI canât, I should leaveâ he apologised.
âSo itâs true then?â You asked, grabbing his wrist for him to stay.
He shook his head no, and for just a moment there you felt relief, before he finally turned around and looked at you with reddened eyes. âOf course itâs trueâ his bottom lip trembled. âWhy wouldnât it be? Did I really get it all wrong?â
Your eyebrows knitted together, understanding this entire situation less and less by the second. âGet what wrong?â
âThis,â he repeatedly pointed his finger from you to him. âUs. Whatever it is that I thought was going on between usâ.
âHyunjinâŚâ
âI knew I was getting my hopes up too fast, but I thought,â he paused for a moment, shaking his head in disbelief over his own delusions. âAll this time I thought what kept holding you back was our age gap, but turns out the problem was never my age, but meâ.
âWhat do you mean?â
âI mean youâd be willing to go out with that one other guy whoâs also my age, so it was clearly never the problemâ.
âWhat guy?â
âYou know what guyâ.
âFelix?â You pinpointed, not really knowing any other guys his age. Not like you particularly knew Felix either anyway. âIâm not going out with himâ.
âYou said you wouldnât mind him being twenty three, thoughâ.
âBecause I donât care about age, not because I want to date himâ you tried to defend yourself. âWerenât you the one who told me to consider dating younger guys?â
âExactly, I told you that. Me. I said it so you would at some point consider me, not so you would start looking at other guys my ageâ he clarified.
âHyunjin, Iâm notâWhy does age suddenly matter so much to you?â
âBecause if youâre willing to date a guy whoâs three years younger than you, then why canât it be me?!â
You froze.
During all the years you had known him, you had never seen him lose his temper. He was always calm, rational. Had he ever even raised his voice in your presence other than when he got excited about something?
This was a side of him youâd never seen before, and it broke you.
Seeing him look so hopeless and sound so defeated right then, made you feel like holding him and never let go of him.
Things were moving too fast, though, and when you wanted to reach for his face and wipe the tear that had just rolled down one of his cheeks, he beat you to it; harshly wiping his face with his hands, as he refused to look away from you.
âAll this time Iâve done nothing but pour my heart out to you. Iâm so⌠so fucking in love with you it hurts me, Y/N. There are times when it physically pains me to love you this much,â he confessed.
Right now, it was one of those times.
âIâve done everything in my hands for you to stop seeing me like the teenage boy you met back then, for you to stop seeing me just like Yejiâs little brother, and I know youâre not ready for a relationship yet, but I was willing to wait for as long as you needed me to until you were, because I was delusional enough to believe that I could actually make you fall for meâ a breathless, humorless laugh abandoned his lips. âAnd now it turns out you just wonât ever feel the way I feel for you, and this guy shows up out of nowhere and gets everything Iâve tried to get from you right away without even moving a finger, and I just⌠I donât know where to go from hereâ.
Your heart squeezed inside your chest.
Of all the things you were expecting as the outcome of your talk, a confession wasnât one of them. Not this kind of confession, at least.
You were speechless. Not only did you not know what to say, but even if you did, you were sure your voice would betray you by not coming out when you opened your mouth.
Hyunjin loved you.
It wasnât just a crush like you thought. It wasnât him looking for something casual like you feared. No, he loved you. He was serious about you.
Why did you feel so happy yet so afraid about his feelings for you being so strong?
He took a step towards you, and you felt your heartbeat raise when his face was only a couple of inches away from yours and his breathing began to mix with yours.
âI donât wanna give up on you, Y/N, I donât. But I just donât knâWhat do I have to do for you to consider me?â He asked, pulling you closer by your waist. âWhat does he have that I donât?â
âIâm not going out with him, Hyunjinâ you repeated in a whisper, hoping this time he would believe you.
Whether he believed you or not, he leaned in closer, faintly brushing his nose with yours. âWhat do I have to do for you to give me a chance then?â
âHyunâŚâ
âIâll do anything,â he said, cupping your face and making you lock eyes with him. âJust tell me what and Iâll do itâ.
You slowly shook your head no, unable to get any kind of word out of your mouth. Was it not obvious enough already that you did feel something for him? Had the way you talked to him and how you acted around him not been enough for him to get that you liked him as something more than just a friend? As way more than just your best friendâs brother?
You couldnât find the right words to tell him that. The only thing you could do was to stare into his eyes, and then down into his lips, feeling the tension between the two of you grow by the second.
Hyunjin caught up on that immediately, leaning closer, so he could brush his mouth on yours for a second, before he closed the gap that kept them from touching.
Only you beat him to it.
Had you waited one more second, he wouldâve been the one to press his lips on yours.
But you did not.
Instead, you were the one to press your mouth on his.
You were the one to kiss him first.
You were kissing him.
And he froze.
His right hand was still cupping your face, his left one remained on your waist, and his eyes had naturally closed the moment he felt the heavenly pressure of your lips on his. But he froze nevertheless.
For the first few seconds, he was too stunned, too overwhelmed âin the best way possibleâ to even react. And, unfortunately, a few seconds was all the kiss lasted; for he missed your touch right when he was about to kiss you back.
âIâm sorryâ you apologised right as you pulled away and covered your mouth with your hands, as if only then coming to your senses. âHyunie, Iâm so sorry, I shouldnâtââ
That was as much as you got to say, for in a second he had already removed your hands from your mouth and replaced them with his lips.
Youâd be damned if you thought you could get away with letting him get a taste of your lips only to deprive him of you all over again.
You kissed him back right away, going against your poorly attempted apology, and driving him crazy when you wrapped your arms over his shoulders. His hands that had been previously cupping your face were now on your waist, pulling you closer to his body as he tried to feel you as close to him as he could.
He kissed you like he needed you, like heâd been deprived of you for decades and was only now allowed to get a taste of you; and yet, he managed to be so gentle that you were left craving more by the second, whilst wanting him to kiss you just like that for a little longer.
After all, you didnât know he had been dreaming of this moment for nearly seven years now.
Just like you, he, too, started wanting more. Pulling your hips harder against his and getting a small gasp of yours to part your lips, he took the chance to delve his tongue in your mouth â unable to keep the corners of his lips from curving slightly up when he felt your tongue massage his right back.
With your breathings becoming heavier, and without even dreaming of letting go of your lips just yet, Hyunjin made you take a couple of steps back, until your legs reached your bed and you instinctively sat down on it, allowing him to lean over you as he followed your mouth.
âYouâre drunkâŚâ you managed to whisper, right after you laid back on the mattress and his mouth sucked on your bottom lip once more.
âIâm fine, Iâm finâIâm perfectâ he whispered in between kisses.
He was perfect. Being with you like this, with him hovering over you while your fingers gently dug into his hair and your mouths so deliciously sucked on each other, he could not be anything other than perfect.
Kissing you felt like a dream, and a part of him was afraid that it was one.
âNo, HyunjinâŚâ you mumbled, only a couple of seconds later. âWe shouldnât be doing thisâŚâ
âWhy not?â He asked, pulling slightly away from you â not enough for your lips to stop brushing.
âI donât think Iâm ready for a relationship right nowâ you confessed what his sister had told him earlier that night and, therefore, what he already knew. âIâm sorry, I really shouldnât have kissed youâ.
âNo, donât be sorry for kissing me. Anything but that, Y/N. You have no idea how bad Iâve wanted to kiss you all this timeâ he tenderly ran his thumb up and down on your cheekbone. âI can wait until youâre ready. Starting tomorrow morning Iâll wait all you need me to, but right now just⌠let me kiss you for a little longerâ.
Having him whisper those words when his mouth was faintly touching yours, could only make you feel yourself give in to his plea.
âHm?â He asked, tracing your bottom lip with his thumb. âOne more and Iâll stopâ.
Unable to speak, as it seemed to be the norm that night, you closed your eyes; and that was enough for him to take the hint and replace the thumb on your bottom lip with his mouth, sweetly sucking on it before he softly traced it with his tongue, for you to let him in and meet him midway.
The desperation of your second kiss was no longer there, as he now took his time to engrave in his memory every single second of your mouth sucking on his and your tongue massaging his own. He didnât know when he would ever get to kiss you again, after all, and he wanted to take in as much as he could of it.
He wanted to take his time now; and kiss you slowly, deeply, lovingly.
When you were both left panting for air, he rested his forehead on yours, cupping your nape with his hand and digging his fingers in your hair before he hid his face in the crook of your neck, as a breathy laugh abandoned his mouth.
âYouâre driving me crazyâ he confessed.
âI should be the one saying that,â you chuckled rather sadly. âI donât know what youâre doing to me anymore, HyunjinâŚâ
âWhat do you mean?â
âI mean youâre confusing me so much right now. You say you love me and you make me feel so special, but then you go andâŚâ you sighed, feeling him slowly withdraw his face from your neck as he tried to understand your point. âI wish it was that easy, but I canât let myself fall for you now that I know what Dahye said is trueâ.
âI swear youâre making me question how much I actually drank, because that doesnât make any sense andâYou canât do this to me, Y/Nâ his piercing eyes fixed on yours, and the way his voice sounded so calm now could only make your body tense up under him. âYou canât just kiss me and then tell me thatâŚâ he sighed, attempting to collect his thoughts. âIf you donât feel ready for a relationship I get it, and Iâll wait. Iâll wait for as long as you need me to, baby, thatâs never been a problem. But you canât just tell me that youâll never love me back and then kiss me only to turn mââ
âWhen did I ever say Iâd never love you back?â You questioned.
âWhen we were talking earlier?â He tilted his head in confusion. âI asked you if it would be so bad if what Dahye told you was true and you said yesâ.
âYes,â you agreed. âBecause I canât put myself through the hell your messy relationship with her would bring meâ.
His eyebrows knitted together. âWhat messy relationship?â
âYou knowâŚâ you avoided his eyes, only then being hit with how much the thought of him with someone else actually affected you. âThis whole âfuck buddiesâ thing and you going back to her no matter who you are withâ.
âThatâs ridiculousâ he blurted out, almost offended that such an atrocity had just left your mouth. âWhere did you even get that from?â
âThatâs what Dahye told meâ you said.
âThatâs whatâŚâ the puzzle pieces finally connected in his head. âIs that why you said you wouldnât be able to fall for me?â
âYes?â You tilted your head questioningly. âIsnât that what we were talking about all along?â
He should be mad at Dahye right then. He should want to scream at her for playing with the two of you like this.
Any other time, he wouldâve been fuming. Right then, however, with your troubled expression as you didnât get what was going on, with your pretty lips all swollen from how hard heâd been kissing you up until a minute ago, and having experienced such a wide range of emotions in a matter of minutes, he could only laugh.
Tilting his head back and letting a throaty laugh escape his mouth, he slumped back next to you on your mattress and covered his face with both hands, as he let his laughter take over him.
Nervousness, madness, embarrassment, relief, happiness; it was all mixed up into one loud, painful laughing fit.
He felt like a maniac, feeling you stare at him in worry and obliviousness, but he couldnât find it in him to stop laughing.
âWhatâs so funny?â You wondered when he struggled to catch his breath.
âShe liedâ he explained, finally feeling like his laughter was coming to an end.
âShe lied?â
âShe liedâ he confirmed, removing his hands from his face and wiping a couple of tears off his eyes before he locked them with you. âI donât like her at all, Y/N. We hardly ever even talk, why would Iââ he took in a deep breath, staring up at the ceiling as he felt like he was going crazy. âCanât believe I cried for nothingâ.
You couldnât help the giggle that escaped your mouth, both over his last remark and over how relieved you felt to know it was all been a misunderstanding, and that you had been right not to believe her in the first place.
âIâm sorry I wasnât clear enoughâ you pouted, gently cupping his face when he turned to you.
He shook his head no, letting you know it was okay as he placed his hand on yours. âI didnât specify either, so I was at fault, tooâ he smiled softly. âAnd we probably wouldnât have ended up kissing if I hadnât gotten so heated up anyway, so it was totally worth itâ.
âYouâre an idiotâ you laughed once again, smiling when he leaned in and rested his forehead on yours.
âYou still kissed me, thoughâ he pointed out, bringing some heat to your cheeks. âDoes that mean I actually have a chance now?â
âWas me kissing you not a good enough answer to that?â
âKisses can mean nothing to some people, soâŚâ
âIâm not one of those people, Hyunieâ you let him know.
âGood,â he smiled, pulling you to his chest. âBecause kissing you meant everything to meâ.
You wrapped an arm around him, nuzzling the fabric of the black sweatshirt he was wearing and taking in his scent you loved so much.
âShouldnât we properly talk about what Dahye told us?â You mumbled.
âThat, and about where weâre standing now, tooâ he agreed, sweetly tracing his fingertips up and down your back. âMy head hurts now, though. I feel like Iâm spiraling, I went through too many emotions in too little timeâ.
You giggled, looking up at him. âYou want to continue this conversation tomorrow? When weâre both a little less overwhelmed?â
âYeahâŚâ he nodded. âI can sleep peacefully now that I know you feel something for me, tooâ.
You chuckled, making his bottom lip stick out in confusion when you pulled away from him and sat up on your bed. âItâs late, you can sleep here tonight. Iâll take the couchâ.
He grabbed your wrist before you could get up. âStay with me?â
âHyunâŚâ you hesitated.
âI wonât try anything, I promiseâ he was fast to say, well aware of where your hesitation was coming from. âJust need to feel you close tonightâ.
If he was honest, any other time, he wouldâve offered to take the couch and that wouldâve been the end of it, but tonight he really needed your closeness. He needed to know you were there, to feel you next to him. And, thankfully for him, you needed just the same.
Silently motioning for him to get under the covers, you let him know you agreed to his request. He smiled widely, pressing a lingering kiss to your cheek before he did as told â making you laugh wholeheartedly when you got under the sheets as well and he wasted no time to pull you to his chest again and to tuck you in with him.
This entire day had been a mess. Hell, the whole fucking week had been unbearable. But you had been able to talk it out at last. Although messily, you now seemed to be on the same page about everything; from your feelings, to what you were looking for, to where the whole misunderstanding had originated.
This may not have been the conversation the two of you were expecting to have, but it was coming soon enough. Tonight, you could just go to sleep in each otherâs arms, knowing what each otherâs lips felt and tasted like, and with the certainty that your feelings were reciprocated.
Neither of you would have it any other way.

Wrong move | The Salesman x Fem!Reader
Summary: He thought you were in love with him....maybe he needs to show you how much you need him.
Warnings: SFW - Possessive!Salesman - Obsessive!Salesman - Controling!Salesman - Red flag basically - Unhealthy relationship - Power imbalance - DARK!Salesman - grammar mistakes -
Note: Not part of "Home Bliss", this is a different universe.
"No"
These were the words that have been in the Salesman's mind for a week now. His aparment, a place he used to love coming to since you were here waiting for him now felt like a empy box. Walls too grey to look at, too dull. The food did not have teaste and his bed felt too big.
When did things go wrong ? He did everything right.
Saw you one day at the local park, got enamoured by you. Followed you around, got to know your schendelure so he could see you from afar. Was able to hack your phone to know every last detail. Your social media were poorly secured. He got to know you like he knew his own skin, when he finally did approach you, you were already his.
And after two years, two years of beautiful moments together, perfectly crafted by him, each one calculated and made so you would fall more and more for him. He got you to move in with him, he was accepted by your friends, your family loved him, and saw him like part of it.
He was sure, centrain that this was the right moment. The perfect one. This was your favorite season, favorite month, perfect hour of the day and a well secured place so you would not feel pressure over it.
Some part of him wanted you to come to him willing.
But your words were marked liked fire. The exchange and after events lived rent free inside his head.
How he had managed to keep his facade he has no idea. The aparment (after you refused to get back) was the one that suffered his rage. All the expensive forniture was destroyed by him, some walls had blood by how much he had punched them.
He was a mess, a disaster. How could yo do it ? After everything? Weren't you two the perfect match ?
A ding from his phone, the ding he had set just for you sounded.
"Sorry, I think its better if we stop seeing each other. I will pass to get my things soon"
The phone went flying. Were you breaking up with him by text ? When he had read all the exchange with your friends ? Like how scared you were and how fast it felt. Why were you doing this?
And your doubts ? He never saw them, you seemed content by his side. And loved him like that.
But your personal diary on your phone said different. You felt trapped, like he knew too much, like he was not being honest.
Maybe he should have been more...severe? Showing you just how bad he could be, maybe he let your leash go too large and now he was paying the consequences.
But would he give up ? No. After all you were just confused, and scared, you just needed a reminder of how much you needed him. How he could be the only one for you.
He took the phone back, the screen broke but other functions working. He ignored your message and instead went to his contacts. He had many friends, friends that could ruin you completly.
"I need a favor"
Leaving him was the start of your nightmare.
~â~â~â~â~â~â~â~â~â~
At first the relationship was fine. How does peopel put it ? Honeymoon? Well you two had it for very long.
He was the man any woman could ask for, gentle, caring, doting, never forgot a special date. And would get your favorite things.
But something was off. His eyes, the same dark eyes that sparked when he saw you, these eyes would change to sharp and cold around others. You felt like he was always on you, even when being away for work, he would just know when to send you a message or call you.
Would meet you randomly on the streets, knew when you wanted to do something even when you never mentioned it.
Something was wrong. Your gut told you to run from him but you did not know how. After all on the eyes of everyone he was perfect.
Then he asked to marry you, and you saw your chance. You could say you got scared and that things just did not work out after it.
But it did not go that way.
Once you had got your things from his aparment your Boss called, he had said how sorry he was but the company was cutting off some employees and you were one of them.
Your work, your dream work. The one you had passed years preparing yourself, tears and blood for it. The one that made your parents proud.
Ripped out from you with one call.
Then it came your social circle. Slowly your Friends stopped meeting with you, some removed you from their social media, and some blocked your number. You never got to know what was wrong, or what you did.
And later your parents, it was a shame losing your job, it was worse not being able to get another one.
"Sorry we are looking for something different"
"Your solicitude was read but right now we need another thing"
"We will call you"
Rent became impossible, and so you had to move back with them. Your mother was not happy, telling you how much of a failure you were, how your brother was making money overseas and how your sister had made a family.
Your father did not even look at you. Like he felt guilty, not even the company he used to work for would take you in.
Your days became a circle of sending out curriculums and doing your best to keep your parents happy even when you knew they did not want you there.
And some days you would go to the park and cry. Not caring if others saw you, your life was ruined, you had nothing. Maybe....maybe if you had said yes....
Checking your phone you saw the contacts, mom, dad, brother, sister and him. You were sure you had removed his number but it kept coming back. Maybe you were getting sick because of the stress. Your finger went over the call buttom till you finally hitted it.
~â~â~â~â~â~â~â~â~â
He never wanted to see you like this, so broken, so out of life. Maybe he had insolated you too much. Let some lies to your Friends and mother that grew and now they hated you. Your father was a rough one, he had used some...other methods for him. But did coperate at the end.
"You dont seem so good" Were his first words and you looked down at your lap.
"Im sorry for have called you.., after everything"
"Dont say anything. I was glad I got your call. I wanted to know how you were doing" He lied, he knew you were miserable.
Only him could fix it.
"I have...well things have been bad" You addmited "I dont want to burden you with it, maybe this was a mistake"
You went to get up and leave but a firm grip on your hand stopped you. His eyes, cold and sharp like he was seeing his prey.
You, you were his prey.
"Sit" It was an order not a request "Lets talk for a bit more, maybe I can help you, for the old times"
~â~â~â~â~â~â~â~â~â
"Are you sure? (Y/N) you can still go back and say no" Your fathers voice cut off.
You were wearing a beautiful weeding dress, outside from a ceremenoy to take place.
"Dad...you have been saying that since I told mom and you that I was getting married. This is good, we actually made up and I even got my work back, with double pay. Was not what you wanted for me?"
Your father did not respond. He still remembers that night. The night your "perfect" boyfriend appear. When he told him how your life would be so bad you would be wishing you were gone.
"And if thats not enoguh, maybe leaving her limp like you will do the trick"
He had tried for many months to hide his injury, the injury that man had caused him and promised to do the same to you.
"Dad? Its your leg hurting? You are crying"
"No dear, im fine. A little emotional to see you go"
When the doors opened and he walked you in and saw the monster you were going to marry he felt like dying there. When he gave you to him he could see it, he was liking his pain.
"I will take good care of her" Were his only words, and by the time his eyes were on you it had changed.
Love? Obsession ? A twisted sense of care ? No one could tell, no one dared to ask.
Him ? He was just happy you finally accepted what was best for you.
Him, he was the best for you.
"Till death do us apart"
Not even death would be able to separate you from him.

LOLLIPOP - CHO SANGWOO
pairing: dad's best friend!cho sang-woo x trans male reader
synopsis: When your dadâs hot best friend crashes at your place for a week, things heat up faster than the broken ACâthrow in drunken confessions, lollipops, and a whole lot of unresolved tension, and youâve got a summer break youâll never forget.
content warnings: 18+, reader definitely has an oral fixation, too much plot, mentions of a transphobic mother, (GI HUN IS READER'S DAD), age gap (reader is 19 and sang-woo is in his 40's), unprotected sex, P in V, back-scratching? fingering, lots of unspoken tension.
word count: - 4.3k
A/N: ty to @art-gang-money , their request was what made me go on a spiral w this fic đđźđŤĄ
Summer in your dadâs apartment always smelled like kimchi stew and stale cigarettes, a combination youâd grown weirdly fond of since moving back in after you started uni. The ceiling fan wobbled as it turned, and the couch sagged just enough to remind you how old it was. You were sprawled out on it lazily sucking on a cranberry lollipop and scrolling through your phone, when your dad cleared his throat dramatically.
âYouâll never guess whoâs coming over,â he said, leaning against the doorframe like he was delivering some kind of life-altering news.
âLet me guess,â you deadpanned. âThe landlord? Because I think the ACâs about to give out.â
He waved you off, grinning. âNo, you brat. Cho Sangwoo. Youâve heard me talk about him, right?â
Heard? More like endured. Sangwoo was the mythical figure your dad brought up at every family gathering, a symbol of everything Seong Gi-hun wanted you to be: successful, hardworking, and an SNU graduate. Youâd rolled your eyes through countless retellings of his achievements, imagining some stiff, balding guy in glasses who probably spoke in lectures.
âYeah, sure,â you muttered, not looking up.
âHeâs staying here for a week,â your dad added, oblivious to your lack of enthusiasm. âHeâs got a client nearby, and I told him he could crash here. Youâll like him. Heâs... cool.â
You raised an eyebrow. âCool? Coming from you, that doesnât mean much.â
Your dad ignored the jab, already walking toward the door. âHe should be here any minute!â
When the door opened a few minutes later, you barely glanced upâuntil you heard the deep, smooth voice that followed.
âGi-hun,â the man said warmly, stepping inside. âItâs been too long.â
You looked up and your sucker almost fell out of your mouth.
This wasnât the stiff, balding guy youâd imagined. Sangwoo was tall, broad-shouldered, and wearing a suit that looked like it cost more than your dadâs entire wardrobe. His hair was styled just enough to look effortless, and the way he carried himself screamed confidence.
âFinally, youâre here!â your dad said, pulling him into a back-slapping hug. âSangwoo, this is my son.â
âNice to meet you kid,â Sangwoo said, extending a hand toward you.
You shook it, trying not to let your thoughts show on your face. His grip was firm, and his eyes lingered a moment longer than necessary.
âSo youâre the famous Sangwoo,â you grinned, âDidnât expect you to be so... old.â
Sangwoo raised an eyebrow, his lips quirking into a faint smirk. âOld?â
âYeah,â you teased, leaning back against the couch. âFortyâs ancient.â
Your dad barked out a laugh. âDonât mind him. He thinks anyone over twenty-five is ancient.â
Sangwoo didnât reply, but the way his gaze lingered on you made your stomach twist.
After dinner, the hum of the evening settled over the apartment. Gi-hun had retreated to the couch, already half-asleep with the TV droning in the background. You had volunteeredâreluctantlyâto wash the dishes, partly out of guilt for eating so much and partly to avoid sitting awkwardly in the living room while Sangwoo and your dad chatted about old times.
The warm water ran over your hands as you scrubbed a plate, the faint scent of dish soap filling the air. You had just started to lose yourself in the monotony when you felt itâthe faint shift of the air behind you.
âNeed help?â Sangwooâs voice came, low and smooth, almost too close.
You froze for a split second, your grip tightening on the plate. âUh... Iâve got it,â you said, trying to sound casual, but your voice came out tighter than youâd hoped.
He didnât seem to careâor maybe he didnât believe you. Instead of leaving, he moved closer, his arm brushing against yours as he reached for the sponge in your hand.
âDonât be stubborn,â he said, his tone light but with an edge of amusement.
Before you could protest, he had already slid the sponge from your fingers, his other hand gently nudging you to the sideânot enough to move you completely, but just enough so he could stand behind you, his chest brushing your back.
The countertop pressed against your hips, trapping you between the solid wood and Sangwoo. You swallowed hard, your thoughts scattering like leaves in a gust of wind.
His scent hit you firstâclean and sharp, a mix of soap and something faintly musky, like fresh cedarwood. He had clearly just stepped out of the shower; his hair was still damp, and the faint warmth of his skin radiated against you.
âJust rinse them,â he said, his voice a soft rumble that sent a shiver down your spine.
You nodded dumbly, reaching for the faucet, but your hands felt clumsy, your fingers fumbling with the knobs. The sound of the water splashing into the sink seemed impossibly loud in the otherwise quiet kitchen.
Sangwoo leaned forward slightly, his arm stretching past you to grab another plate. The movement brought him even closer, his chest pressing more firmly against your back. You could feel the faint rise and fall of his breath, steady and unhurried, as if he werenât fully aware of what he was doingâor maybe he was too aware.
âYouâre tense,â he commented, his voice laced with amusement.
You let out a breathless laugh, trying to ignore the heat creeping up your neck. âYeah, well, I didnât expect to be body-blocked while washing dishes.â
He chuckled softly, the sound vibrating against your back. âYouâre overthinking it. Just relax.â
Easier said than done, especially with him standing this close. Every time his arm brushed yours or his hand grazed yours as he passed a plate, it sent tiny jolts of electricity through you.
âYou always make dishwashing this awkward?â you asked, your tone half-joking, half-desperate to diffuse the tension.
âOnly when Iâm working with someone as clumsy as you,â he shot back, his smirk practically audible.
You turned your head slightly to glare at him, but the motion brought your face dangerously close to his. His eyes flicked down to your lips and back to you, and for a moment, neither of you moved.
The air between you was heavy, charged with something unspoken but impossible to ignore. He was so close you could see the faint droplets of water still clinging to his hair, the curve of his mouth as he smiled faintly, like he knew exactly what he was doing to you.
âWell,â you managed to say, your voice quieter now, âif youâre going to take over, at least let me get out of your way.â
âWho said I wanted you to move?â he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
Your heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, you thought youâd misheard him. But then he turned back to the sink, the faintest hint of a smirk tugging at his lips as he continued washing the dishes as if nothing had happened.
You stayed frozen in place, your mind racing and your pulse hammering in your ears. If this was some kind of game, Sangwoo was winning effortlessly.
On the third day of Sangwooâs stay, your dad insisted on taking you both out for drinks, and Sangwoo agreed with a faint smile that didnât quite reach his eyes.
Gi-hun, unsurprisingly, got wasted. You and Sangwoo ended up practically dragging him back to The humid summer night hung heavy as you and Sangwoo maneuvered your dad through the narrow streets, Gi-hun stumbling slightly with every step. He reeked of soju and cheap beer, his arm slung around Sangwooâs shoulder while you tried to steady him from the other side.
âHeâs heavy for someone who barely eats,â you grumbled, adjusting your grip.
âHeâs always been like this,â Sangwoo said, shaking his head. âSome things never change.â
âYâknow,â Gi-hun suddenly slurred, his voice unusually loud in the stillness of the night, âI never thought Iâd be one of those dads.â
âWhich kind?â you asked, bracing yourself for whatever drunken confession was about to follow.
âThe good ones!â he proclaimed, nearly tripping over his own feet. Sangwoo caught him effortlessly, his expression unreadable as Gi-hun continued. âYour mom⌠she didnât think so. Thought I was crazy for defending you.â
âDad,â you muttered, feeling the familiar prick of discomfort settle in your chest. âMaybe nowâs not the timeââ
âWhy not?â Gi-hun cut you off, his eyes glassy but filled with a strange intensity. âSangwoo doesnât care. Do you, Sangwoo?â
Sangwoo hesitated, glancing at you before replying softly, âNot at all.â
Gi-hun nodded triumphantly, as if Sangwooâs approval was all the validation he needed. âSee? Told you. No shame in it. Not a damn bit.â
You didnât reply, focusing instead on guiding him toward the apartment. But Gi-hun wasnât done.
âYour momâŚâ His voice grew quieter, tinged with bitterness. âShe couldnât handle it. Said it wasnât natural. Like you werenât her kid anymore, just because you stopped wearing dresses and started wearing ties.â He barked out a humorless laugh. âAs if a piece of fabric could change the fact that youâre you.â
Your chest tightened, but you didnât interrupt. This wasnât the first time heâd brought it up, but it still hit like a sucker punch every time.
âShe wanted you to be her perfect little daughter,â Gi-hun continued, his words starting to blur together. âAnd when you wouldnât⌠she packed up your sister and left. Going all the way to America like that would fix everything.â
He stumbled again, and this time Sangwoo steadied him with a firm grip. âAmericaâs got more people like you anyway,â Gi-hun added, his tone lightening into something almost comedic. âShe probably hates it there. Serves her right.â
You let out a soft, startled laugh despite yourself. The absurdity of it allâthe drunken way he said it, the thought of your mother fuming in a country full of people who were allowed to be themselves (kinda)âwas too ridiculous not to.
Gi-hun turned to look at you, his expression suddenly serious. âBut you know⌠Iâm glad you stayed with me. I wouldnât trade you for anything. Not for a wife, not for money, not for anything.â
Your throat tightened, and you could only nod, your voice caught somewhere between a laugh and a sob.
Gi-hun leaned heavily against Sangwoo, his weight almost toppling both of them. âMy kidâs a damn good man,â he declared, his voice wobbling with emotion. âBetter than Iâll ever be.â
Sangwooâs gaze flickered toward you, his dark eyes softening in understanding. He didnât say anything, but the slight dip of his head felt like a silent acknowledgmentâa recognition of everything unsaid.
When you finally got Gi-hun back to the apartment, he collapsed onto the couch, snoring almost instantly. You stood there for a moment, staring at him, your emotions too tangled to sort through.
Sangwoo broke the silence, his voice low. âHeâs a good father.â
You glanced at him, surprised by the quiet sincerity in his tone. âYeah,â you replied, your voice softer than usual. âHe is.â
When you finally got your dad into bed from the couch, you turned to Sangwoo, expecting some kind of witty remark.
Instead, he just stared at you, his expression unreadable.
âWhat?â you asked, your voice coming out more defensive than you intended.
âWhy do you keep doing that?â
âDoing what?â
âActing like you donât know exactly what youâre doing,â he said, stepping closer. His voice was low, almost a growl, and it sent a shiver down your spine.
âMaybe I donât,â you replied, your tone defiant.
âDonât play dumb.â He was close now, so close you could feel the heat radiating off him. âYouâve been pushing me all week. Do you even know what youâre asking for?â
Your breath hitched, but you didnât back down. âMaybe I do.â
That was all it took.
His hand shot out, gripping the back of your neck as his lips crashed into yours. The kiss was rough, heated, filled with all the tension that had been building between you.
You kissed him back just as fiercely, your hands clutching at his shirt as he pressed you against the wall. His teeth grazed your bottom lip, and you let out a quiet gasp that only spurred him on.
The kiss had left you breathless, your pulse pounding in your ears as Sangwooâs grip on the back of your neck softened just slightly. The wall at your back was cool, a stark contrast to the heat radiating from his body. His forehead rested against yours, and for a brief moment, neither of you spoke.
âYouâre trouble,â he muttered again, his voice quieter this time, but no less intense.
âYouâre the one kissing me,â you shot back, the words shaky but bold.
A low chuckle rumbled in his chest, and his fingers slid from your neck to trace the line of your jaw. The touch was maddeningly slow, deliberate, and you couldnât help but lean into it.
âDo you even know what youâre doing?â he asked, his tone tinged with something between amusement and exasperation.
âDo you?â you countered, meeting his gaze.
His eyes darkened, and his hand dropped to your waist, pulling you closer. âYouâre playing with fire.â
âGood thing Iâm not scared of getting burned.â
That was all it took for him to lose the last thread of restraint. His lips were on yours again, fiercer this time, his hands gripping your waist as if anchoring himself. You clung to him just as desperately, your fingers tangling in his shirt.
When he pulled back again, his lips hovered near your ear, his breath warm against your skin. âYouâve been driving me insane,â he murmured, his voice low and gravelly.
âYeah?â you whispered, a teasing edge creeping into your tone despite the way your heart was racing. âAnd here I thought you were just ignoring me.â
His laugh was soft, almost bitter. âIgnoring you? Do you have any idea how hard itâs been to keep my hands off you?â
Your face heated at his words, but you couldnât resist pushing him just a little further. âSounds like a you problem, old man.â
His grip tightened on your waist, and he pulled back just enough to look at you, his expression a mix of frustration and desire. âYou really donât know when to quit, do you?â
You opened your mouth to retort, but he didnât give you the chance. His lips were on yours again, his hands slipping under the hem of your shirt to rest against your bare skin. The warmth of his touch sent a shiver through you, and you gasped softly against his mouth.
âSangwooââ you started, but he silenced you with another kiss, his teeth grazing your bottom lip before he pulled away just slightly.
âSay my name again,â he murmured, his voice so low it sent a thrill down your spine.
Your lips parted, but the sound of a door creaking down the hall snapped you both back to reality.
âShit,â you whispered, your head jerking toward the noise.
He let out a soft curse, his hands slipping from your waist as he stepped back, putting just enough space between you to make it look like nothing had happened.
âDad?â you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
âProbably,â Sangwoo replied, his tone clipped. He straightened his shirt, his expression already hardening back into the composed mask heâd worn all week.
You didnât know whether to be relieved or disappointed as you watched him pull himself together, but the heat in his gaze when he glanced back at you told you this wasnât overânot by a long shot.
âGo to bed,â he said quietly, the corner of his mouth twitching into the faintest hint of a smirk. âWeâll talk about this later.â
âPromise?â you asked, your voice light but your heart still pounding.
He didnât answer, but the look he gave you said enough.
Saturday had never felt so bittersweet. Usually, it was your favorite day of the weekâa time to sleep in, lounge around, and revel in doing absolutely nothing. But this Saturday was different. Sangwooâs stay was coming to an end, and the thought of him leaving left a knot in your stomach.
You hadnât had the chance to talk about what had happened that night after the pubâor maybe youâd both avoided it. Every brush of his hand, every lingering look, had felt heavier in the days that followed. But neither of you had acknowledged it. Not once.
The tension in the apartment was unbearable, made worse by your dadâs cheery obliviousness. That morning, he announced he had to run out for work and wouldnât be back until evening. He didnât even glance up as he slipped on his shoes, leaving you alone with Sangwoo.
You sat at the kitchen table, absently swirling the stick of a grape lollipop between your lips as you scrolled through your phone. The candy clicked softly against your teeth, your thoughts miles away.
The sound of a chair scraping across the floor snapped you back to reality. You glanced up to see Sangwoo sitting across from you, his dark eyes fixed on you with an intensity that made your breath hitch.
âIs it good?â he asked, nodding toward the lollipop.
You pulled it out of your mouth with a soft pop, tilting your head. âWhat, this?â You swirled the candy dramatically. âAmazing. Want a taste, old man?â
His lips quirked into that maddening smirk, but he didnât reply. Instead, he stood, moving toward you with deliberate slowness.
âSangwoo,â you started, a warning in your tone.
He stopped right beside you, one hand braced on the table as he leaned down. His voice was low, a soft rumble that made your pulse quicken. âYouâve been driving me insane all week.â
You tried for a laugh, but it came out shaky. âIs this about the coffee thing again? (you had put salt in his coffee instead of sugar because you were so fixated on his face-) Because I already apologizedââ
His hand reached out, his fingers gently gripping your chin, tilting your face toward him. The sudden proximity stole the words from your throat.
âStop,â he said quietly, his eyes locked on yours. âStop pretending like you donât know exactly what youâre doing.â
Your heart was hammering now, the lollipop stick trembling slightly in your fingers. âMaybe I donât,â you replied, though the smirk tugging at your lips said otherwise.
His gaze dropped to your mouth, and for a moment, he seemed to wrestle with himself. Then he leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. âYouâre going to make me lose control.â
The words sent a thrill through you, but before you could respond, his lips crashed into yours.
It wasnât gentle. It was rough, messy, and desperate, like heâd been holding back for too long and couldnât stand it anymore. The lollipop tumbled from your hand, forgotten as you gripped the front of his shirt, pulling him closer.
He groaned softly against your mouth, his hands sliding to your waist, pulling you out of the chair and into him. Your back hit the wall a second later, and you gasped, his teeth grazing your bottom lip as he deepened the kiss.
Your hands tangled in his hair, still faintly damp from his morning shower. He kissed you like he was starving, his lips hot and insistent against yours. One of his hands slid up, tangling in your hair, while the other gripped your hip, keeping you firmly in place.
âYou taste sweet,â he murmured against your lips, his voice rough.
You managed a breathless laugh, tilting your head to nip at his jaw. âBlame the lollipop.â
He pulled back just enough to look at you, his eyes dark and heated. âWhereâs the rest of it?â
âOn the table,â you teased, the corner of your mouth quirking up.
With a low chuckle, he grabbed the discarded lollipop, holding it up as if examining it. Then, to your shock, he popped it into his mouth, his eyes never leaving yours.
âThatâs mine,â you protested weakly, though your voice was barely above a whisper.
âNot anymore,â he said, his tone laced with amusement.
Before you could respond, he was kissing you again, the faint sweetness of the candy mixing with the heat of his mouth. The combination was intoxicating, making your head spin.
His hands roamed, gripping your waist, sliding under your shirt to brush against your bare skin. Every touch left a trail of fire in its wake, and you couldnât help the soft sound that escaped your lips.
âSangwoo,â you whispered, your voice trembling.
âSay it again,â he murmured, his lips trailing down your neck.
âSangwoo,â you repeated, your hands clutching at his shoulders.
He pulled back just enough to meet your gaze, his breathing ragged. âYouâve been driving me crazy all week,â he said, his voice low and raw.
âGood,â you shot back, your smirk returning. âServes you right, old man.â
His laugh was quiet, almost disbelieving, before his lips found yours again, pulling you into another dizzying kiss.
His hand was going lower and lower, first to your collarbone, then to your waist. It slowly inched the topband of your shorts, pulling it back and letting it slap onto your skip, making you yelp.
His other hand held you steady at the waist, while his dominant one went under your boxers.
You whimpered as you felt his hand graze your cunt, teasing one finger against your wet folds. It had been a solid minute since you even touched yourself down there. You were always too anxious that Sangwoo would be able to hear you (Dad was tone deaf) or he might come home earlier than expected from his business meetings.
And his fingersâ God, his hands. So strong and thick. They linger over the soft pudge of your cunt, pressing into the warm skin and pulling apart each sticky fold to ghost over the quiver and throb of your acawaiting, needy clit. How overwhelming they were, using his thumb to rub smooth circles into it, eliciting a wet squelch as his fingers sunk into your hot, gummy walls.
You latched your hands on his shoulders, back arching into the wall with the sudden intrusion. You muffled any noise you made by hiding your face in the crook of his neck.
He propped you up higher on the wall, letting your head fall back, while his eyes never left yours.
âSangwoâ,â you were cut off by him suddenly sliding your shorts down. You remembered with embarrassment that you had wornâ
âHuh. Hello Kitty.â the man stated while looking at your bright pink boxers. Your face flushed, turning to look away, while Sanwoo slid your boxers down and continued to have his way with your sopping cunt.Â
You had no idea how long you had been in that position. He had taken your leg and placed it on your shoulder, making you somewhat balance on one leg, back resting on the wall and your hands on his shoulder.
Sangwoo on the other hand was obsessed with how his fingers were practically being devoured by your needy cunt, the slick making it easier to slide in every time.
He determined that you had been prepped enough, and removed his belt, along with his pants and boxers, which were now pooling at his knees.
He used his toned arms to steadily lift both your legs up, making you squeak. Your knees were now at the same level of your shoulders. Before you could let out a remark, he had slid the tip of his length into your gummy walls, eyes going wide with how tight you were.
âFuckâŚso tight fâme, arenât you?â It wasnât really a question, more of a statement, and before you could respond, he had slid all the way in, making you gasp.
Using the opportunity, he captured your lips with his once more, muffling the sweet moans that came from you. He wanted to hear you, but your neighbours seemed to be quiteâŚnosy.
When he had buried his cock all the way to the hilt, he stopped.
âPleaseâŚfuck, Sangwooâ,â you whined, feeling full but it just. wasnât. enough.
âPlease what doll? Use your words,â he teased, the smugness evident on his face.
âFuck me till my legs are shaking. Please please pleaâ,â before you could finish, Sangwoo had slid out and he rammed into you once more, making you let out an almost pornographic moan.
He went at it like an animal, fucking into you with reckless abandon, as though he was in a rut. Your hands went from his shoulders to his back, your nails (whatever was left of them after you bit them off) scratched his back, leaving crescent shaped indents on his skin.
Your cunt clamped tightly around his cock, as you tried to babble something but only moans left your lips. He seemed so heavily into chasing his own orgasm at this point.Â
âSan..Sangwoo..Iâ â You tried to say but could only cry out as you felt your orgasm wash over you like a rapid stream. Your fingers dug ineffectually into his back as a way of forgetting the overstimulation against the older manâs harsh thrusts.
He groaned, feeling the sting of your nails and how your cunt was clenching around his length with every thrust.
He continued going even after you came, his hips retracting at a fast pace. His grip on your waist tightened, pressing down onto your flesh.
â Iâm gonna-- â, he breathes out before (reluctantly) pulling out of your tight hole and climaxing all over your stomach.Â
The warmth of the liquid seeped down your stomach, settling in your navel and even going further to your used cunt.
As he was staring at your hole, that was still clenching around nothing, you brought your shaky hand to his face and dived in for another kiss.
The sound of a key turning in the door was unheard. Your dadâs voice rang out from the hallway. âForgot my wallet! Need to get the groceriesâ What the⌠CHO SANGWOO WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY SONââ

A temporary goodbye (Front Man / Hwang In-Ho x reader)
summary: The first game is about to begin, and the Front Man needs to talk to his right hand man - who happens to be a little more than that.
tags: secret relationship, established relationship, fem!reader in mind
note: I had this scene in my head and just had to write it.
Youâre standing next to the Front Man in the control room in silence, patiently waiting for his orders as always. Thereâs a lot going on in your head, so itâs not a surprise that you find yourself stealing a glance at him more and more often, because heâs the reason why youâre a little distracted today. This is the first day of the games, and while normally itâs a routine task, this year things are different. Everyone can feel it, but very few know the reason.
âIâll watch the first game in my room,â he suddenly announces, and before you could react, he walks away. You let out a sigh under your mask, disappointed that you canât talk to him before he springs into action, but then he calls back, his voice cutting through the silence. âBunny, with me.â
The mask luckily hides the wide grin that appears on your face upon hearing him say this. You were supposed to have a proper code name, but he decided that Bunny suited you more, which is why you began to use it, and he even got you a bronze rabbit mask that matched his own in style. As usual, you follow him without a question, passing by the staff members who are preparing for the first game.
In his private room, the Front Man sits in the armchair and pours himself a drink, and eventually he takes off his mask too, feeling comfortable and safe enough to let it go temporarily. You can feel your heart beating in your throat as you wait for him to show any sign that he remembers youâre there. Sometimes he gets so lost in his job that you have to remind him of your presence.
But not this time. Now he clears his throat and raises his hand to signal you to go closer. âSay it,â he orders, although his voice is gentle, as it is every time he talks to you.Â
Since youâre obedient enough, you pad closer and stop by his side, a small smile creeping on your lips when you look at him. Four years. Youâve been working together for four years, but he only took off his mask around you two years ago. This was his way of showing his trust, something you truly appreciated.Â
âTake off the mask, weâre alone.â He finally looks up at you, a faint smirk visible as he watches you follow his order. Once itâs placed on top of his, he sneaks an arm around your waist and pulls you into his lap. âSo? Whatâs on your mind? I can see somethingâs bothering you.â
Letting out a long sigh, you wrap an arm around his shoulder and lean in to give him a tentative kiss. âAre you sure about this? Joining the game, I mean,â you clarify.
In-ho lets out a quiet, humorless laugh. âYou know perfectly well why Iâm doing that. But itâs okay, you donât have to worry,â he assures you as he rests his hand on your thigh, his fingers digging into your skin to ground you. Because he knows you. He knows youâre spiraling, he knows you think something bad will happen, which always kicks your brain into overdrive.Â
âIf you donât get out in time, Iâll be stuck babysitting the VIPs,â you say with a pout.
âYouâd be fine.â When you give him a sceptical look, he kisses you again, and he even moves his hand closer to your inner thigh. The moment a soft moan escapes your lips, though, he stops. âSince when do you doubt me?â he wonders, his eyes examining your face to see the reaction.
Shaking your head, you rest your forehead against his. âI donât doubt you, Iâm just⌠Look, I know you can protect yourself, and you thought of everything, but we donât know what heâs planning. Heâs a ticking time bomb in there,â you explain.Â
âKeep an eye on the team while Iâm in the game. Everythingâs supposed to go smoothly, but if something happens⌠take care of it.âÂ
You nod without hesitation, after all, thatâs why youâre here. Thatâs why you became his right hand man. Whatâs happening between youâthe stolen moments, the shared life back home when youâre not busy preparing for the next gamesâis a secret youâre keeping to yourselves. Youâre the only ones who should know about it, no one else. Itâs personal, and if anyone knew about this connection, they could easily use it against him.Â
In the beginning, you tried to resist the pull, you tried to escape his gravitational field, but then In-ho made you understand that it was okay, that you could make this work. He would make sure you can make this work. By now, youâre sure he would go to great lengths to protect you, he would get rid of anyone who ever dared to even look at you the wrong way.Â
The moment is ruined when you hear the instructions of the first game, a sign that it has begun. You both turn to the screen to watch it, but his hand is still teasing you, even if itâs nothing more but a subconscious movement. The comfortable silence between you is based on the deep understanding of each other, but youâre a little startled when he speaks up, not bothering to look at you.Â
âI love you, Bunny, never forget that,â he says quietly, as if he was telling this to himself.Â
A warm smile crawls on your lips. âI love you too.â

(Ekko X Reader)
⼠cast : ! Ekko and Reader ¥
Ekko stood at the far end of his room, his back to you, arms resting on the edge of his table. He was awfully quiet, his chest rising and falling with unspoken thoughts.
You watched him from a far, leaning against the doorway. His shoulders were tense, muscles coiled as if he were carrying more than he'd ever admit. But that was Ekko, wasn't it?
"You're brooding again..." you said, your voice cutting through the silence like a blade.
He turned his head slightly, a small smirk tugged at his lips. "And you're lurking again..Guess we're both predictable."
You stepped into the room, your boots scuffing softly against the floor. The air between you two felt electric, like it always didâcharged with tension that neither of you could name, let alone tame.
"Still working on that time device?" you asked, gesturing to the intricate gears and wires scattered across the bench.
He turned fully to face you, leaning back against the table. His eyesâsharp, brown, trailed over you for a moment longer than necessary. "Nah.." he said, his voice low, steady. "That's on pause for today. Had other things on my mind."
You raised an eyebrow. "Hm, Like what?"
His smirk deepened, but it wasn't playful this time. "You. Of course.."
The single word hung in the air, heavy and deliberate. It sent a rush through you, but you didn't flinch. You never didânot in front of Ekko.
Instead, you took another step closer.
"Huh, I don't remember giving you permission to think about me?" you teased, crossing your arms.
Ekko tilted his head, his expression softening. "I didn't think I needed permission"
Your breath hitched, but you masked it with a quiet laugh. "Is that so?"
"Yeah," he said, pushing off the table and closing the distance between you in two slow, deliberate steps. "And you know what? I think you like it don't you!The way you show up, act like you're just here to check on me...But it's more than that, isn't it?"
His words were careful, measured. You felt the heat rise in your chest, spreading through your body like wildfire. He was too close now, the earthy scent of his was now filling your senses.
"You've got a big ego for someone who spends most of his time hiding in here." you shot back.
He chuckled, the sound low and rough. "Yeah maybe...But I'm not wrong, am I?"
Your silence was answered enough, and he knew it. His hand came up, his rough fingers brushing lightly against your jaw. The touch was barely there, but it sent a shiver down your spine. You didn't pull away.
You couldn't.
"You make it hard to stay focused, you know that right? " he murmured, his voice dropping to a whisper. "Every time you walk in, it's like... nothing else even matters anymore."
The weight of his confession settled over you, heavy and intoxicating. You searched his face, looking for any hint of deception, but there was none.
Ekko never played gamesânot like this.
"You really are trouble aren't you Ekko.." you said softly, the words more for yourself than him.
He smiled, a real one this time, warm and genuine. "So are you huh.."
His hand slid to the back of your neck, pulling you closer until there was nothing but the sound of your breaths mingling, the heat of his body against yours. When his lips finally met yours, it wasn't gentle. It was raw, a clash of need and want and months of unspoken tension.
You melted into him, your hands finding their way to his chest, his arms, gripping the fabric of his shirt like it was the only thing keeping you grounded. He deepened the kiss, his other hand finding your waist, pulling you even closer.
When you two finally broke apart, gasping for air, his eyes focused on yours, his breath warm against your skin.
"Tell me you don't feel it Y/N.." he whispered, his voice almost desperate.
You swallowed hard, your hands still pressed against his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath your palms.
"I can't" you admitted, your voice barely audible.
His grip on you tightened, his eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that made your knees weak. "Then don't push me away."
"I'm not," you said, shaking your head. "But I'm hoping you can handle all of this."
He smiled at your comment, that same reckless, confident grin that made your heart race.
Before you could say anything about his silence, his hands slid lower, gripping your waist. His eyes searched yours, waiting for the moment you might pull away. But you didn't. You leaned into him instead, giving him silent permission to keep going.
"I feel like you're testing me now.." he murmured, his voice low and rough as his lips brushed the shell of your ear. "Like you want to see just how far I'll go."
Your breath hitched as his hands tightened, pulling you flush against him. You felt the tension radiating off his body, the restraint he was barely holding onto. You could feel it tooâan ache building in the pit of your stomach, something you'd ignored for too long.
"how far will you go, Ekko?" you whispered.
He exhaled a soft laugh, the sound laced with both amusement and desire. "Far enough to make you forget how much you like to act all tough." he said, tilting your chin up with a single finger. "You talk all big, but you and I both know you've been waiting for this."
You didn't answerânot with words. Instead, you grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him down to you, crashing your lips against his. He groaned against your mouth, the sound deep and primal as his hands roamed your body, exploring every curve like he'd been imagining this for months.
The kiss grew heated, messy. He guided you back until your hips hit the edge of the workbench, and in one swift motion, he lifted you onto it. His hands moved to your thighs, spreading them apart as he stepped between them, pressing himself against you in a way that made your head spin.
"You drive me crazy, you know that?" he said against your lips, his voice rough with restraint as his fingers brushed the bare skin of your legs.
"Good.." you whispered, your nails digging into his shoulders as you pulled him closer. "Now you know how I feel."
He chuckled, his lips trailing down your neck, leaving a path of open-mouthed kisses that made your breath hitch. His teeth grazed your skin, just enough to send a shiver down your spine.
His hands moved with purpose, gripping your thighs and pulling you further into him. The heat between you was so overwhelming, as his lips returned to yoursâcapturing you in a kiss. You were his now, and he was going to make sure you knew it.
With a low growl, Ekko pulled away just long enough to guide you back, his hands never leaving your body as he laid you gently on his bed. The room felt smaller, the air thick with tension, every heartbeat quickening. His eyes never left yours as he hovered above you. His hands brushed the strand of hair from your face, his lips grazing your cheek before pressing a soft kiss.
"And I thought you were all talk.." he muttered, his voice rough, but a faint smirk played on his lips. "Guess I was wrong, hm."
You raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile curling on your lips. "You think I'm just talk?" you whispered, your fingers trailing down his chest, moving deliberately slow. "Maybe, I'm just making you work for it."
You watched as his confidence didn't sway, but there was something in his eyesâsomething moreâthat told you this game wasn't as easy for him as he was letting on. Smirking, you slid your hands down his chest to his waist, and with a deliberate movement, you pushed him back onto the bed. He didn't resist, and as he fell back, you crawled over him, straddling him with a mischievous grin.
"Wow, would you look at that?" you teased, your fingers lightly brushing over his chest as you leaned down, your lips hovering just above his. "Who's all tough now, hm?"
His breath hitched slightly, but his gaze remained focused. "You really think laying me down means you've got control here?" he asked, his voice smooth, but there was an edge to it that let you know he wasn't entirely sure about where this was going.
"Mmm, Maybe." you purred, leaning in just enough to brush your lips against his.
You lowered yourself, your lips trailing down his neck as you ground your hips against him, teasing him just enough to make his restraint snap. His hands gripped the sheets beneath him, and you could feel the tension building again, both of you barely keeping control.
"What are you trying to do here doll.." he muttered, but you could hear the hint of amusement in his voice.
You pulled away, hovering over him with a wicked grin. "Mmmm" you hummed, your voice soft but full of challenge "I'm just trying to see how you'll react to me.."
The words hung in the space between you, charged and deliberate, and you watched as his throat tried working to swallow whatever response he thought might be appropriate. But there wasn't one.
Not now.
Not when you could see the flicker of tension in his eyes, the way they darted from your lips to yours, searching for permission, for confirmation, for somethingâanything. But you weren't giving him answers.
You were giving him a challenge.
His hands finally moved, as they found their place on your hips, his touch firm. You felt the heat of his palms through the thin fabric of your clothes, and it sent a shiver racing up your spine. Still, you didn't move. Not yet. You wanted him to squirm a little longer, to feel the weight of your patience pressing down on him, reminding him just how much control you had in this moment.
When you finally leaned in, it wasn't sudden or rushed. It was deliberate, calculated, your lips brushing against his in a slow, teasing kiss that left him gasping for more. His grip tightened on your hips, pulling you closer until there was no space left between you, no room for hesitation. He kissed you back with a desperation that surprised even himself, his mouth moving greedily against yours as if he couldn't get enough.
It was exactly what you wanted.
You pulled back slightly, breaking the kiss just long enough to catch your breath, and grinned down at him. "Wow, took you long enough." you murmured, your voice thick with satisfaction.
He let out a shaky laugh, his hands sliding up your sides until they reached the hem of your shirt. "You really are something else, you know that?" he said, his tone equal parts exasperation and awe.
"And yet..." you trailed off, arching an eyebrow as you shifted your weight, grinding against him just enough to make him groan.
"You can't seem to resist me hm?."
That did it. His hands were under your shirt in an instant, pushing the fabric up and over your head in one swift motion. The cool air hit your skin, but it was nothing compared to the heat of his gaze, taking in every inch of exposed flesh. You didn't give him time to linger, though. Leaning down, you captured his lips again, your tongue sliding against his in a way that left no doubt about what you wantedâwhat you needed.
His hands were everywhere all at once, exploring your body with a hunger that matched your own. You could feel his cock pressing against you, hard and insistent, and it only fueled the fire burning in your veins. Shifting your hips, you grind against him again, earning another desperate moan that vibrated against your lips.
Breaking the kiss, you sat back just enough to take in the sight of his boner beneath youâhis cheeks flushed, his chest rising and falling rapidly, his eyes dark with need. "You look so good like this Ekko" you said, trailing a finger down the center of his chest.
"Helpless. And Desperate."
He chuckled weakly, shaking his head.
"You're enjoying this way too much."
"Oh, I so am" you agreed without hesitation, your grin widening as you leaned down to nip at his neck.
"Don't act like you aren't too."
His breath hitched as your teeth grazed his skin, his hands tightening on your waist. "I am..." he managed, his voice strangled.
You smirked against his neck, kissing the spot you'd just bitten before sitting up again. Your hands went to the button of his jeans, and you made quick work of it, tugging them down his legs along with his boxers. He hissed as the cool air hit his sensitive skin, but the sound turned into a groan when your hand wrapped around his thick cock, stroking him slowly, teasingly.
"F-Fuck.." he muttered, his hips jerking up into your touch.
"Patience Ekko.." you scolded, squeezing lightly just to watch him squirm.
He groaned again, but he didn't argue. Instead, his hands found their way to your thighs, gripping them tightly as if he needed something to anchor him. You took your time, exploring every inch of him with your hands, your lips, your tongue, until he was trembling beneath you, his body taut with restraint.
Finally, when you couldn't take the anticipation any longer, you lifted yourself up, removing your pants, tossing it across the roomâand positioning yourself over him. His eyes locked onto yours, filled with a mixture of longing and disbelief, and you smiled softly. "Ready?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
He nodded wordlessly, his hands moving to your hips to guide you. Slowly, agonizingly slowly, you lowered yourself onto him, feeling every inch of him stretch and fill you. It was so overwhelming, the sensation so intense that it nearly stole your breath away. By the time you were fully seated, your thighs pressed against his, you were both panting.
For a moment, neither of you moved. You simply stayed there, enjoying in the connection, the closeness, the way he seemed to fit perfectly inside you. Then, with a soft exhale, you began to move.
It started slow, a gentle rocking of your hips that drew a low moan from him, his fingers digging into your skin. But it didn't stay slow for long. The pace quickened, your movements becoming more urgent, more desperate, as the pleasure built within you. His hips met yours with every thrust, driving him deeper, harderâuntil the room was filled with the sounds of your mingled gasps and moans.
You could feel it building, that coil of heat tightening in your belly, threatening to snap with every movement. Overwhelmed by the sensation, you dropped your forehead to his, your breath coming in short, ragged pants. "Don't stop baby" you pleaded, your voice barely audible over the pounding of your heartbeat.
His hands gripped you tighter as he drove into you with renewed fervor
His hands roamed over your body, tracing the curve of your spine, gripping your hips, sliding up to cup your breasts. His thumbs brushed over your nipples, sending jolts of pleasure through you, and you arched into his touch, a moan escaping your lips.
"Look at you.." he murmured, his voice rough. His words sent a flush of heat through you, and you increased your pace, your hips rocking faster, harder, chasing that delicious tension building low in your belly. His hands moved to your hips, guiding you, helping you find that perfect rhythm that had both of you gasping for air.
The room was filled with the sounds of your breathing, the slap of skin against skin, the low, guttural noises neither of you could hold back. His eyes never left yours, the connection between you as intense as the physical pleasure coursing through your bodies. You could feel yourself tightening around him, the coil of pleasure winding tighter and tighter, threatening to snap.
"Fuâfuck d-don't stop..." you gasped, your nails digging into his chest as you rode him harder, faster, chasing that sweet oblivion. He obliged, his thrusts meeting yours, each one driving you closer to the edge. And then, with a cry, you shatteredâcumming all over his warm dick, your body convulsing around him. He followed seconds later, his own release triggering another spike of ecstasy that left you both trembling, clinging to each other as the aftershocks rippled through your bodies.
For a long moment, neither of you moved. You simply stayed there, breathing in sync, basking in the glow of what you'd just shared. Then, with a soft laugh, you leaned down to press a kiss to his lips, slow and tender.
"Let's go again." you hummed, your voice barely audible over the pounding of your heartbeat.
"....Guess you can't get enough of me, huh?" he murmured, voice low as he tried to catch his breath, yet the tension in his tone made it clear he was just as eager as you.
Jeezussssss

'Kind of' made you stall at the top of the stairs.
The second floor, you realized, was all bedrooms. Your legs got heavy, your heart beating like a panicked bird in a cage.
It was ironic. Your ability to handle him downstairs came naturally, but as soon as you had some privacy, it all got intimidating.
Asahi paused after turning the corner. He eased back against the wall with a breath. He glanced to the staircase one more time to make sure nobody had followed you.
"There's nothin' to help with," He laughed, rubbing the side of his stubbly face, "I just- yeah, that was a super lame excuse, actually."
You stood with your hands clasped in front of you, a polite smile, trying to flex all the shivers down. Your crush on him reached its peaks and valleys throughout your years in school together. It reached a happy medium until tonight, starkly reminding you of your old, pushed-down feelings.
He was wicked cute, and that whole performance downstairs was cut too short.
A big breath led to a bigger sigh, "I really wanted to kiss you."
"Me too," You said, with almost no time to let his words settle.
Asahi covered his automatic laugh, and you shared a wholesome moment of mutual, nervous relief.
"Well, uh-," He seethed, eyes up to the ceiling, face much warmer, "If we're being totally honest-,"
The cheers downstairs cut him off. It sounded like Kageyama might have won his match, but neither of you cared.
Asahi suggested, instead, "Should we- go somewhere more private?"
Although you nodded, you weren't sure where he had in mind until he showed you into Daichi's bedroom. You raised your brow, taking in his posters, his books, the layout, feeling a bit guilty that he wasn't in here.
"Oh, I made sure it was cool with him if we- um, talked, in here," He explained.
The supportive body language from those two made infinitely more sense, but you doubted it that ended at 'talking.' You kept your excitement under the surface, for now.
"Right."
He sat on the mattress, a little invested in the feel of the sheets, by the way his hand slid and prodded over the thread count. The ache between your legs was starting to make your whole body cold.
Daichi had those glow-in-the-dark stars on his ceiling, and you didn't want to leave it up to Asahi to fill the silence, so you tried, "How long do y'think he's had those?"
There were at least 20, you counted. When you looked back down, he was relaxed forward, elbows rested on his knees, with his face in his hands, staring straight at you. Screw the ceiling.
He cleared his throat, his eyes flickered dismissively up, "Oh, um- forever, I'm sure."
Asahi was a terrible liar. You were glad he was honest with you in the hall, because he had zero capacity for beating around the bush. His intentions were spoken for, but now they were transparent in his clouded, almost tormented eyes. He made it seem difficult to look at you without touching you.
"You said you wanted to kiss me, right?" The decision to make it easy for him was met with a huge shift in his expression, an ease you saw, earlier, that spread as he ran his hands along your sides.
A gentle brush of his thumb across your cheek, "I did."
Kissing him was simple- it didn't feel rushed, or confusing, at all. He made it all a pleasant and invigorating experience to follow his lead.
His fingers spread through your hair, at the base of your neck. A strong but soft pull brought you into the warm embrace of his body.
He smelled good- mostly like the aged liquor he was nursing most of the night, but a bit woody, with hint of cashmere. Even his scent made you feel taken care of.
"So," You caught your breath for a second, taking in his face as you tucked some hair behind his ear, "Are you sure Daichi's fine with us- talking, all over his bed?"
The way his eyes lit up during his chuckle made you grin, validated and light.
His lips smushed against yours again. He was lifting you up by the waist, setting you on your back with proud effortlessness. You kept your arms wrapped around his broad shoulders, getting your fill of his hair while you could.
Before he could completely forget to respond, he hummed a preoccupied, "Yeahh, don't worry about'm."
A hand pinned yours against the mattress.
All he needed was a little reassurance, and he was no longer the sheepish wimp you knew him to be. For a while, when those hot summer seasons coincided with the throws of your crush, it was fun to imagine what he might be like. Now, there was proof, and he didn't disappoint.
The growing pressure he placed on you kept you flat, and slowly limited your ability to move. It was getting familiar.
You tried to move your hand from under his, unlace it, just to touch him, but it proved impossible.
A small chuckle, a little mutter against his temple as he struck crude kisses down the side of your neck: "Can I have my hand back?"
The skin over his knuckles was tough, and his palms were leathery, firm, from all the lifting he did. His strength alone spoke for his dedication, but you felt pleased to know these intimate details about his body.
Your request was met with your other hand being taken hostage. It wasn't fast, but he did it so naturally that you didn't think to move away.
The look he gave you perfectly represented the edge under his words.
"You want your hands back?"
It was a tease-- a way of telling you 'I know you can't move, but I want to see you try.'
You grew warm under the weight of his subtle, playful pushing-- both between your legs and over your palms.
Robbed of your autonomy, but still finding yourself exhilarated by the reality of his size, and his capacity to use it well, the only thing left to do was play along with him. If he had a real thing for this, you wanted to know just how far it went, how worked up it could get you both.
A tiny attempt to pull your arms closer was met with his easy, slow adjustment to cross them instead, above your head. He kissed you through it, all warm and gentle and kind and safe-- but curiously engrossed in your inability to physically overcome him.
It sent a warm chill down your back- flexed, lingering in another ache between your thighs.
His lips were so soft, and sweet, and light, contrasted well against the slight burn of his stubble.
"Mm-," Asahi sighed, a soft peck to your cheek so he could collect himself, "You're givin' up already?"
The warm spill of his words across your face, plus the thrill of his little challenge, had you squirming, all knotted up and itching for him to give you more than just kisses.
"You--," You tensed at his slow, messy sucking along your jaw, "You-mm! Know I can't move..."
Maybe he was taking pity on you- maybe it was your whiny admission fueling a more licentious desire, inspiring him to let you go so he could start stripping you. You delighted in the chance it gave you to watch his reactions.
Soon, you were fully nude- and he was still fully clothed, with no foreseeable urgency to even the imbalance out.
Instead, he let a hand overlap your waist, eyes still busy scouring over you, "Are you gonna be okay?"
"Dunno," You mumbled, playing with his fingers as you shot a look to his fly, "Maybe you should check."
Your coquettish quip earned a hasty, rough, but amused kiss. You writhed against his weight again, this time with a justifiable anticipation at the sound of him pulling his cock out.
It was hot as it fell against your skin. A welcome feeling of closeness you couldn't get from much else, just being skin to skin with somebody else. It made you feel a bit like melted butter.
He pushed himself up to take his shirt off, all the while examining his length, pushing it down so that he could measure it in relation to your small torso.
"We'll have to, um..." You trailed, a shaky exhale at his burly, tanned physique, "Be.."
The word 'careful' fell apart on your tongue. Now he was measuring his fingers, next to his cock. One hand remained idle wrapped around the bulk of your thigh.
It was indeed fascinating how some body types probably shouldn't try to come together, like you were. Seemed like an evolutionary flaw.
Especially because the look in his eyes was nothing short of carnivorous. It was occasionally batted back by bouts of concern for the logistics of it all.
"I've got a few ideas," He smiled, real handsome, real sweet, down at you.
Curious, you watched all your favorite muscles of his work and relax again as he backed up off of the mattress, standing at the edge of the bed.
In a second, you had been pulled closer, then adjusted in front of him- it left you breathless at the simple ease of it all. You fixed your hair, a glossy and fixated admiration in your gaze up to him.
Awed, you told him in a shaky giggle, "I really like that..."
Asahi leaned over you; a timid and flattered sigh prickling up your skin, "Yeah?"
His rough hands pinched at your hips as he kissed a messy trail down your tummy.
Whispered, just as his knees hit the carpet, "I like it, too."
It was impossible to not get excited. He always stuck you as a guy with more patience than most.
Patient was a good word to describe the way he ate you out-- he may have liked to toss you around, but it wasn't out of carelessness, or negligence. It was an exploration of boundaries, a bit of power play, and this was played right into the dynamic. His performance wasn't perfect, or void of little, silly hiccups, but it was endearing and fun to discover together.
After he got you warmed up, he began slowly, one by one, pushing his fingers into you.
"How's that feel?"
It was a curious, but flirty question.
He already knew how much you were enjoying yourself, how you were trying to keep yourself quiet under your hand, struggling to not roll your hips into his hand. He just wanted to hear you.
A raspy sigh, a distracted nod, "So g-ood--,"
"Takin' me soo well," He grinned, sucking another messy kiss to you, "Y'want another?"
It wasn't exactly audible, but he was watching that sweet, desperate little expression on your face enough to know you did.
You could feel his smile spread- making your thighs flinch, your body curl at the intensity of getting stretched even further.
"You're so cute."
A mumbly admission, buzzing just right onto you. You were so full of him, reeling in how thick three of his fingers were, and dangerously close once he concentrated on your clit.
Soon you were gripping harder, twitching, then squeezing him--, "H-ah-!"
You started begging when nonverbal queues didn't get through.
"Asahi- asahi, please-ah," You huffed, starting to feel your climax rushing in, threatening to take hold of you, "I'm s-o close-!"
You thought he would stop, for favor of dragging this out longer, but he didn't slow down, nor did he let off of you. The only change was his grip tightening, gripping into your skin. A twitch of your thigh, trying to push on him, was met with a powerful pull to keep it far away, to the side and keep you opened up.
The pressure it brought only added to your rapture- he was actively getting off to watching, hearing, feeling you beg for a break. He loved it.
"Mmn-!" Pulling on his hair did you no favors, other than encouraging that slow, constant swirl of his big tongue around your swollen clit.
In the end, the harshness in your brow, in your clawing fingers, your shaky thighs, all softened under his steady hold. He felt so good taking you apart, then bringing you all back together.
Another messy kiss, so sweet- but so mean, shoved you over the steep edge.
He could feel you tighten, pulse around his fingers and filled you to the knuckle; a tipsy, crooked smile barely visible under his working tongue.
It took so long to come out of the throws of your orgasm that he was already back on top, filling the space above you. You quickly locked your legs around him, hands guiding his face up for a kiss.
His knack for multitasking never stopped. You were given so many gentle, attentive kisses as he put you in the center of the bed, where there was finally room for the both of you.
He wanted you on your elbows and knees. Numb, and tingly, and pliable, you let him adjust you the way he wanted; you kept your debaucherous smile to yourself.
You needed every second of that foreplay to take him- he was the biggest you had ever been with. Thankfully, he also happened to be the sweetest.
"Ooh my god," Your trembling was quelled by the weight of his body.
His groan was low, stuttery, at your tight pussy clenching hard all around him.
He caught his breath, a pretty moan in the back of his throat, "Shit."
His praises were loosely strung together, punctuated in little kisses to the back of your head as he placed his elbows on the mattress, at your sides. If he had been watching, he probably wouldn't have lasted very long.
It was getting rough, quickly, but you found his kind attention more than enough to keep you relaxed.
"Mm-!" You muffled a cry, fisting the sheets while he chuckled at how cute all your little sounds were, hungry for more.
In one fluid motion, he had your arms pinned; one was tucked under you, the other was extended far out in front of you. The responsive gasp was more of your body, reacting on its own, but it was an invigorating thing to consider. He was such a timid guy, so every dirty thing he said or did still took you by surprise.
It was just like how you finished your match earlier, with one big difference.
"Mmnh-aAh! Augh-ah-Mm!"
Your surprised, whiny sounds spilled free against the sheets. His cock filled every bit of you- it felt so good your breath was getting shorter, harder to catch.
You couldn't see it, but he drank that messiness up, a furrowed concentration in his brow to keep giving it to you as hard as you needed.
"You like that?" His voice was right in your neck again, buzzed.
It melted your resistance away- you couldn't even squirm, couldn't tell him yes. You were so full, so close already, that when he stalled deep and cruel, to let you think, your euphoria was barely interrupted. You cried, tearless, drooling a little on Daichi's sheets.
"You wanna talk to me, sweetie?"
The kindness in his voice right now should've been illegal. You breath was getting shaky, your vision long since useless.
"T-ell me-mm, how it feels," He muttered, still egging you on, a kiss to the tip of your ear.
His voice fell away from you, your heart pounding in your ears- you were just swimming in delectation. His warmth, his sure delivery of careful pleasure, his gravelly, well-meaning taunts. It was starting to take you far away, for the first time.
You noticed, but didn't react to his retracting hands, nor the readjustment of his weight off of you.
He was deeply troubled that you hadn't responded to him.
If Asahi had been any more experienced or confident, he would've known the clear signs of subspace-- but considering his experience ended at some casual sex, and the absence of conversation, and not understanding of either of your limits, he thought he fucked up, bad.
You were just different. That made him nervous.
Concern laced his voice quick, a sobering sound.
"Hey?" There were a couple taps to your cheek, and when you got your focus back, he was bending to try to get a good look at your face.
You gave a weak smile, "Mm?"
"You okay?"
A big stretch, an otherwise silly invitation for him to put his hands back on top of yours, "Mmmmhm..."
The way you sat back a little, pushing yourself gently onto his cock, made him take a second. A quick moment to suck in a restrained breath. Then a reserved, relieved chuckle.
"Are you- sure?" Was his last attempt. Now he was noticing the shakiness from your legs, your irregular breathing.
He put a tiny peck to your temple, fingers carefully running over your side.
You gave a close-mouthed whine and winced away at the ticklish sensation, "God-- Just fuck me please,"
When he was watching where to put his hands, he noticed your wiggly fingers, and grinned- happy to take you up on the offer, again.
He met your light pushing with stronger, steady strokes that kept you gasping- whiny, with pleasure.
Your endurance was absolute garbage, when it came to his unconventional way of treating you. Neither of you were expecting it to click so well- not as just-friends, for years, with on-and-off separate partners and countless, ill-timed crushes on each other.
It was amusing to think of how different this would make your 'friendship' now. How could you tell the team you were dating, after they watched what was essentially half of your foreplay downstairs?
This orgasm washed over you in shorter, smaller waves than the first- but it took so long to fully crest that it felt a thousand years longer.
You weren't particularly loud, this time, but now that he was paying so much attention to you, he spoke you through it with unparalleled timing.
"Good, fuck- that's good," He sighed, huffy, in your ear.
His hand quickly clasped over your mouth before you could make a sound.
Though you felt so perfect, the little scare you gave him warded off any chance he had at cumming, too. It'd have to wait for some other time. The satisfaction from getting you to this point was more than enough payoff for him.
"Good girl."
You had never felt so disconnected from your own body before. It was like you felt your climax about two rooms down the hall- and all it left you with was some invisible, heavy blanket all across your limbs.
For all that was worth, it was pretty cool.
His quiet shushing, all in your ear, was the evidence you needed that you hadn't been entirely present. You weren't sure when he started and when he stopped.
"You're okay- you're okay," He cooed, thumb gently brushing your warm cheek.
He held you incredibly still, listening, watching, for you, before pulling out.
You felt like a heavy bag of sand.
In fact, after he had shifted slowly off you and leaned closer, the way you slumped down was akin to one. Maybe more of a bag of concrete mix, instead.
It was staggering to believe your sweet, silly, nervous Asahi took it out of you, like that.
"You okay?" He was ultra-gentle, now, sliding featherlight touches over your back.
It was just enough to keep you awake.
"(Y/n)?"
You didn't realize you needed to respond. A slow, laborious sigh. You opened your eyes and were surprised to see him, once again, leaning over you to watch your face.
"Yeah..."
It didn't convince him- he looked like he was going to call an ambulance.
"I'm- tired," You went to push yourself up.
The intense quivering in your arms stopped you. Having to push back against him for so long was exhausting, and now you were completely spent. You wondered if it had anything to do with the little fight earlier, too.
He shook his head when he noticed you try to move on your own again, "Nono, I got you."
For the millionth time tonight, his ability to pick you up, from whatever position he found himself in, left you in a delighted daze. He set you so that you at least had a pillow under your head.
"You need some water? Let me go get some for you real quick."
You did feel pretty dried up. Like a dead, frail flower.
A tiny nod, and he was rushing to put on enough clothes, zipping out the door in search of water. You fell asleep in the short time he was gone, too sleepy to pull the covers over you or to roll to your side.
"Mmh..."
It had only been a minute or so.
But you felt a thousand years old, getting woken up from an ancient slumber, when a soft throw blanket was covering you- a big, gentle hand over top of it, rubbing your shoulder to rouse you.
Asahi settled to your side, watched closely as you drank, and pressed more kisses to the side of your head. He reached over you to set the bottle on the bedside table.
"Thank you," You leaned into him, then decided to give him a little edge of the blanket, too, and rested your head on his chest, "I'm okay."
"Good."
He was warm. You squeezed an arm over him.
"How are we gonna tell everyone?" You mumbled, against his tummy.
"I-... don't think we need to."
Confused at what he meant by that, you stopped trying to burrow into him, and propped up a little to look him in the face.
"Uh-," He tilted his head from side to side, a little warmth on his tan features, "We weren't...exactly...quiet."

Bound by the Ball- Tom Riddle x Fem!Reader
Summary: Tom is determined to make you his date to the ball. The only problem? You have a boyfriendâand you absolutely cannot stand Tom Riddle.
warnings: banter. like a lot of banter. sexual tension. tom threatening reader to get his way? 5.5k words i got carried away :)
A/N: I know i disappeared from the face of earth, but got inspired to write this one this week. Love u all, hopefully I won't go MIA for too long again (i probably will).
ŕźťâŕźş
Unattainable was not a word in Tom Riddle's dictionary.
He had never bothered to familiarise himself with the word. Why would he? If Tom Riddle was to be described with one word, it would be determined. Had he decided to set his sight or mind on something, he would go to any length to obtain it. He had sicarded the notion of "impossible" long ago.
So it came as a slap in the face when what he thought the easiest of attainable things, became not so easy. Truthfully, Tom had not even wanted a date for the stupid ball in the first place. However, when the Headmaster insisted that the Head Boy must have a date, it was not as if Tom had any choice in the matter. He had begrudgingly began his search. His requirements for his date were simple: Not dimwitted, an adequate dancer, and witty enough to keep up with him.
He was mentally going over the checklist when the sound of his name amongst excited chatter broke his reverie.
"Have you heard? Apparently Riddle is looking for a date for the dance."
The wizard halted and slowed his steps so he could listen to the conversation of the girls in front of him. The redhead squealed at the information.
"No!" She said in disbelief. "Imagine being asked by the Tom Riddle to the ball." The girl sighed as if imagining the scenario in her head. The wizard was suppressing his urge to smirk when suddenly the witch who had been silent all through the entire exchange scoffed out a laugh.
"Would not wish that misfortune on anyone."
The redhead gasped, affronted. "Misfortune? Have you hit your head? It is Riddle we are talking about. The charming, smartest boy in the school Riddle?"
"He might be the smartest wizard in Hogwarts but he has the emotional intelligence of a rock."
The two girls beside you gasped your name in unison but you brushed them off with a chuckle.
"I suppose you think your Montague is better?" The redhead giggled again and the other witch joined her in what Tom realised to be their teasing.
He watched your profile as you rolled your eyes at their antics. "At least Montague has human emotions and is not stone cold. The only thing Riddle has feelings for is his textbooks."
"Yeah, the only emotion Montague shows is drooling after you like a lovesick puppy."
The ginger was quick to correct her friend. "Hungry dog you mean."
"I am not saying he is perfect. He is handsome enough and has the approval of my family. That should suffice."
The redhead groaned audibly. "Ah, yes! The traits which define the very notion of romance!" She exclaimed sarcastically. Before you could retort, Tom's attention was pulled to the call of his name.
"Oi! Riddle!"
Tom abruptly halted in his steps, the echo of his name reverberating down the dimly lit hallway. A low curse escaped his breath as he realized the three girls in front of him had also come to a stop, their shoulders tensed with anticipation. He turned his head sharply to find Lestrange hurrying towards him with determined steps. When the younger boy finally stood before him, a mischievous grin played on his lips.
"We found the perfect candidate for your date." Lestrange's eyes shifted momentarily behind Riddle, prompting him to turn and inspect the source of their newfound audience. Three pairs of eyes were locked onto them, two wide with a mortified fascination, and you, who had recently questioned his emotional intelligence, regarded him with indifferent eyes. It was as if his very presence left you unaffected, perhaps even bored.
Tom arched an expectant brow, though his gaze remained fixed on you. Your brows furrowed briefly, and he could see the realization dawning on youâyou knew he had overheard your conversation. Yet, even then, you managed to morph your features into an expression one of displeasure and tugged on your girlfriends' arms.
"Can I help you, ladies?" Tom's voice cut through the hallway, a subtle challenge lingering in his words. His gaze remained fixated on you, waiting for a glance or acknowledgment.
"No. Excuse us," you curtly replied and pulled your friends away. Tom watched your retreating back, waiting for the moment you might glance back at him, but you did not grace him with a second look.
He turned his attention back to Lestrange, his curiosity evident. "Well, who is it?"
"Er... well, she just left..." Lestrange's weak gesture indicated the direction in which the girls had disappeared. Tom's gaze lingered on the empty corridor.
ŕźťâŕźş
His gaze had begun to seek your figure amongst the crowded hallways. He was waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike so he could have a plausible excuse to talk to you. But it was as if you had vanished from the castle. He would see your two friends who you were inseparable with walking around without you. It confounded him. Where had you disappeared to?
"Lestrange."
The boy startled at Tom's voice, tripping over his own feet before righting himself. He turned to meet the Prefect's sharp gaze. "Yes?"
"The girl. What do you know about her?"
Lestrange's brows furrowed thoughtfully. "The candidate for the ball?"
Tom heavily resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "Yes, Lestrange. Who else?"
"Well, she's very reserved, and is very...picky with who she keeps in her circle, so I have not managed to talk to her. But from what I have gathered, she's from a good, respectable family, excellent grades, and the ball gown she has chosen is not ridiculous."
Tom rose an inquisitive brow. "How do you know about the ball gown?"
Lestrange shrugged. "Shagged her redhead friend the other day and saw her dress laying on her bed." He said as if it was the most obvious explanation. "You would approve." He winked.
Tom resisted the tempting urge to roll his eyes yet again. Depraved and idiotic as Lestrange was, Tom could not deny his questionable ways were effective. "Anything else?"
The boy scratched the back of his head, suddenly looking sheepish. "Er...she may or may not have a boyfriend." At Riddle's heated glare, Lestrange threw his arms up in defence. "In my defence, I knew it would not be a problem for you!"
Tom decided it was not wroth wasting his time to curse the younger boy, so he sighed tiredly. "Get me her schedule."
"Oh, no..."
ŕźťâŕźş
He had not anticipated that while on the quest of hunting the girl down, she would come looking for him herself.
"Riddle!" A feminine voice yelled out his name from across the empty corridor. He heard the hasty approaching footsteps behind him as he turned around, and was surprised to see you storming towards him with fury on your face.
He rose a brow in acknowledgement, which seemed to make you angrier. "What the fuck are you doing?" You seethed.
"Taking a peaceful stroll?" He deadpanned.
Your glare intensified at his mannerism, and you crossed your arms over your chest in indignation. "Care to explain why your little Lestrange has been following me around?"
Tom kept his expression neutral, although internally he was cursing Lestrange's lack of talents for being inconspicuous. "Do I look like his father? Why do you assume me responsible for his actions?"
"Do not play dumb with me Riddle." You huffed, pointing an accusatory finger in his face.
"Perhaps he has taken a fancy. How am I to know?" Tom simply shrugged. His nonchalant demeanour only fused your anger more, and you took a step closer to him as you seethed.
"First you eavesdrop on our private conversationâ"
"Which was about me, so it's a little contreversialâ"
"âand now you've got your goon following me aroundâ"
"Again, why him following you is my problem?"
You threw your hands in the air, seemingly done with his behaviour. "You are insufferable! Merlin's beard, it's like talking to aâ"
"Go to the ball with me."
Whatever you were about to say died in your throat, leaving you to blink up at him in stunned silence, trying to process his words. "What?" Was the only coherent thing that you were able to croak out.
This time it was Tom who stepped closer to you, hands stuffed in his pockets as he casually repeated his earlier statement. "Be my date to the ball."
You managed to gather enough of your wits to let out an incredulous laugh. "Have you gone mad? Do I need to help you into the Hospital Wing?"
"I'm perfectly fine." The corner of his lips curled into a smirk as he leaned in, his presence invading your space. "Now, say yes."
"You can't just demand that I be your date, Riddle." Your voice was sharp with exasperation, still grappling with whatever was going on in his head. "Besides, I already have a date. My boyfriend. Naturally." You added.
"Ah, of course. The dimwit that you can barely tolerate?" He asked smugly, a pointed jab at the conversation he'd overheard days before.
Your lips parted, indignation flaring as you struggled to formulate a rebuttal. "I tolerate him just fine," you finally managed, though even to your own ears, it sounded weak and far too defensive.
"Reputable enough to please your parents, but not skilled enough to please you I would wager." He countered.
"How dare you!" you hissed, your voice rising despite yourself.
Tom tilted his head, his smirk unfaltering. "Did I strike a nerve? My apologies. Itâs just hard to watch someone of your... caliber settling for mediocrity."
Your jaw clenched, and despite fighting it, heat flared in your cheeks. You might have not liked Tom Riddle, but that did not mean you did not know just how rare it was to receive a compliment from him. And his words had been a compliment. So of course, it was only natural for you to get flustered. But you would not concede to him so easily. "You are delusional, Riddle. The only thing that matters is that he is far better company than an arrogant, self-importantâ"
"A self-important what?" Tom interrupted, his tone low and sharp enough to cut. His dark eyes bore into yours, leaving the retort stuck in your throat.
You stepped back, trying to put space between you, but Tom mirrored the movement, closing the gap effortlessly.
"Youâre deflecting," he said smoothly, his voice laced with quiet amusement. "If you truly cared for him, you wouldnât feel so unnerved, you would not struggle so needlessly to list his likeable traits, and you most definitely would not be so willing to have this conversation."
"Willing?" you echoed, the word tumbling out before you could stop it. You let out a sharp breath, shaking your head. "Oh, Riddle, it is not my fault you mistook my utter disdain and aggravation for you as interest." You taunted. "As a matter of fact, before you are more mislead, I am done indulging whatever this is." You turned on your heel, intending to storm away, but you barely took a step before a hand shot out, catching your wrist.
"We are not done yet" Tomâs voice was low and composed, but there was a dangerous edge to it, one that sent a shiver down your spine.
"Let go, Riddle," you demanded, attempting to yank your hand free.
Instead, he moved faster than you anticipated, stepping in front of you and backing you up against the wall behind you. Your back hit the cool stone, and you instinctively braced yourself with your hands against his chest, trying to push him away.
He didnât budge.
His arms caged you in, palms flat against the wall on either side of your head. The smirk on his face was gone, replaced by something darker, more intent.
Your breath caught in your throat, and your eyes flickered around the empty corridor for any passerby. Were you to be caught in this compromising position with a boy, alone in an empty corridor, while courting someone else, you would be utterly ruined.
"Riddle, this is hardly appropriate. Let me go."
"Why should I?" he murmured, his voice velvety smooth as his face hovered far too close to yours. His head dipped slightly, and you froze as his nose brushed against your cheek, a slow and deliberate motion that sent a shiver racing down your spine. "I have got you right where I wan."
"Riddle," you said warningly, though the word came out more breathless than you intended.
His nose trailed downward, skimming along your jawline and then the curve of your throat. You inhaled sharply, your hands curling into fists against his chest, unsure if you were bracing yourself or preparing to push him away.
"Stop it," you tried again.
"Why?" he asked again, his lips brushing against the sensitive skin just below your ear as he spoke. The warmth of his breath against your neck made your heart race despite yourself. "Because you might start to enjoy it?"
Your breath stuttered when you felt his fingertips grazing along the hemline of your skirt. You knew this was outrageous behaviour, and you really should have screamed for someone, but his fingers left a fire trail and you felt as if you were being put under a spell. You had never felt this alive, this hot, this desperate forâ
His lips hovered at your ear, his breath hot against your skin, sending shivers down your spine. "Say yes to the ball," he murmured, "and I will make you feel things youâve never felt before... and never will again."
Your resolve almost faltered, your breath coming in shallow pulls as his words coiled around you like a spell. You could feel the walls youâd so carefully built beginning to crack under his relentless pressure.
Just as the word teetered on the edge of your tongue, a sound broke through the haze. Footsteps echoed down the corridor, drawing closer. The sharp reminder of reality snapped you back to your senses and your eyes snapped open.
Summoning every ounce of strength, you shoved him hard in the chest. He didnât stumble, but he let you go, a sly, knowing smirk playing on his lips as he straightened to his full height.
"Youâre impertinent and unbelievable," you hissed, your voice low but trembling with leftover emotion from what you had just experienced. Without waiting for his reply, you turned and bolted, your hurried steps echoing as you disappeared around the corner.
Behind you, Tomâs laughter followed, low and rich, like a predator enjoying the chase. After all, this was just a game for him. But he had not expected it to be so entertaining.
ŕźťâŕźş
Breakfast was a usual affair as you sat across from Adam Montague in the Great Hall, his voice a constant hum in the background as he rambled about Quidditch and the upcoming match schedule. Normally, youâd feign enthusiasm or at least muster the energy to listen politely. Today, however, your thoughts were consumed by a pair of dark, calculating eyes and the memory of hands that had left a trail of fire in their wake.
Tom Riddle. Of course. Somehow amidst your determination to avoid fawning after him like everyone else in the castle did, you had become just like themâ with thoughts plagued by him.
Even thinking of his name itself felt like a forbidden secret, heavy and dangerous, lodged deep in your chest and an ache in your head. Yet no matter how much you tried to keep it at bay, the memory of him refused to fade.
You could still feel the ghost of his breath against your ear, the heat of his hand as it crept beneath your skirt, and the way heâd whispered those wordsâlow, commanding, and laced with desires you shouldnât want to hear.
You shifted in your seat, your skin prickling with awareness as the memory played over and over in your mind. It wasnât just what heâd doneâ it was how heâd done itâwith utter confidence, as though he already knew how you would respond, how your body would betray you before your mind could catch up.
And he had been right.
The thought made you burn with equal parts shame and longing. You shouldnât crave the way his touch had made your pulse race, the way his voice had wrapped around you like silk.
"...and if the Harpies can pull off another win, theyâll have a real shot at the Cup this year," Adam said, his voice rising with excitement.
"Thatâs... great," you murmured automatically, like you always did, though your mind wasnât even in the same room.
You remembered his face when heâd pinned you against the wall, his smirk infuriating and his proximity suffocating in the best possible way. Youâd told him to stop, but deep down, you hadnât wanted him to. Not really.
The truth clawed at you. The horrifying realisation that no one had ever made you feel the way Tom did in those fleeting minutes. Not Adam Montague. Not anyone.
You glanced at Adam, who was still talking, utterly oblivious to the war waging inside you. His blue eyes sparkled with excitement as he gestured animatedly, still drolling on about Quidditch. He was everything a good boyfriend should beâdependable, safe, respectable enough for your parents.
But safe wasnât what you wanted.
Your stomach twisted. You didnât just crave Tomâs touch or his words; you craved the way he made you feel alive. The way he challenged you, unraveled you, almost pushed you to the edge of something you didnât quite understand but desperately wanted to explore.
And what vexed you the most was the fact that he had done all of that in a matter of minutes. He had made you feel all that with one interaction. Perhaps everyone around you had been right about him and his irresistible charm.
Damn you, Tom Riddle. You thought bitterly.
You realised you needed to escape and clear your head when Adam launched yet into another analysis of Quidditch tactics Harpies could employ to secure the Cup and you felt the walls closing in around you.Â
"I just remembered," you blurted, cutting him off mid-sentence. "I wanted to ask Professor Slughorn something about the essay due tomorrow. I will head to class early."
Adam blinked, surprised at being interrupted so abruptly. Then he shrugged, muttering a befuddled 'okay'. Grabbing your bag, you stood, planting a quick kiss on his cheek before turning on your heel and heading toward the exit. The moment you stepped into the corridor, a wave of relief washed over you, though it was quickly overshadowed by the devil himself.
You had not even made it far when his voice cut through the air. "Running from something, or someone?"
Your stomach dropped. Turning your head, you found Tom walking toward you, his stride calm and assured, his dark eyes glinting with amusement.
"Go away," you said sharply, quickening your pace.
He didnât miss a beat, easily falling into step beside you. "Thatâs hardly polite. Especially since weâre headed to the same place."
You frowned, glancing at him. "What are you talking about?"
He arched a brow, his smirk widening. "We have the same class. Surely you havenât forgotten?"
Your lips pressed into a thin line. Of course he would find a way to make your morning even more unbearable. "Fine," you muttered, clutching your bag tighter. "Walk wherever you want, just donât talk to me."
"Such hostility," he said, his tone light but laced with mockery. "I wonder if Montague would approve of your temper."
You shot him a glare. "Adam has nothing to do with this."
"Doesnât he?" Tom asked. "If I didnât know better, Iâd say you were avoiding him just now. Tell me, how does it feel to lie to your boyfriend so early in the day?"
Your cheeks burned, but you refused to dignify him with a response. Instead, you quickened your pace, hoping heâd get bored and leave you alone.
He didnât.
By the time you reached the classroom, your nerves were frayed, and you stormed inside, determined to put as much space between you and him as possible. Sliding into a seat near the middle, you silently willed the rest of the room to fill with other students.
But of course, Tom wasnât finished. With a deliberate smirk, he crossed the space and sat down in the chair beside yours.
"Youâve got to be joking," you muttered under your breath, refusing to look at him.
"Now, now," he drawled, his voice low enough that only you could hear. "Shouldnât we at least try to get along? After all, weâll be spending so much time together."
You turned to him sharply, your irritation bubbling over. "What are you talking about now?"
He leaned back in his chair, his posture relaxed, though his eyes gleamed in amusement. "Oh, nothing." A pause. "Just that the ball is approaching, and Iâm a man of my word."
Your stomach flipped, his implication clear. You opened your mouth to respond, but the professorâs arrival cut you off, forcing you to bite back whatever retort you had planned.
"Ah, Mr. Riddle!" Slughornâs jovial voice boomed as he clapped his hands together. "I trust youâve been giving the essay topic some thought. Iâm particularly eager to hear your take on the use of powdered asphodel in calming draughts. Such a fascinating ingredient! Might you indulge me in what your take is?"
Tom inclined his head, his expression the perfect craft of false modesty. "I believe powdered asphodel is essential for crafting a truly effective calming draught. Without it, the potionâs efficacy in more severe cases is significantly diminished."
You couldnât stop yourself from scoffing. "Essential? That's an overstatement. Asphodel might enhance the effects, but it risks leaving the drinker overly reliant. A calming draught should ease anxiety, not render someone unable to cope without it."
Tom turned to you, and you immediately regretted speaking up upon seeing the amused smirk plastered on his mouth "An interesting argument, but overly cautious. Without asphodelâs potency, the potion becomes too mild to address real crises. A weak solution is no solution at all."
You narrowed your eyes. "Thereâs nothing weak about proper balance. Valerian root and peppermint, for instance, can achieve the same calming effect without the risk of long-term harm."
Slughorn looked between you with visible delight, like a spectator at a match. "Ah, how I delight in a healthy debate! Keep at it, you two. This is precisely the sort of engagement I hoped the topic would bring. I look forward to reading both of your essays." He winked and sauntered off towards his desk just as the students began filing into the classroom.
Then, Adam Montague walked in, his steps faltering the moment he spotted Tom sitting beside you. His eyes widened, and his lips parted in confusion. "What the hell are you doing there, Riddle?"
Tom, utterly unbothered, leaned back slightly, a smug smile tugging at his lips. "I wasnât aware this seat was reserved. Perhaps you should have labeled it, Montague." His tone dripped with mock innocence.
Adam glared, his jaw tightening. "Itâs my seat. I sit there every classânext to my girlfriend."
"Ah," Tom replied coolly, glancing at you with deliberate slowness. "Shame you didnât put a label on her either." He drawled.
Adamâs face flushed, his hands balling into fists. "Get up. Now."
"I do not think I will."
Adam took a threatening step forward, but Slughorn suddenly clapped his hands again. "Settle down, everyone! Time to begin." His cheerful tone left no room for argument.
With a frustrated huff, Adam reluctantly moved to a desk across the room, his glare burning holes into the back of Tomâs head. Meanwhile, Tom leaned slightly toward you, his voice low enough that only you could hear. "Bit possessive, isnât he?" He hummed quietly. "Though perhaps not enough. Were it me who had you, I would not let you out of my sight."
You gaped at him, wondering if he had lost his wits. "Excuse me? I am not something to be owned, Riddle."
His hand dropped under the table and you barely suppressed a gasp when you felt it land on your thigh, grazing dangerously high under your skirt. "And yet...I would treat you as if you were my greatest possession."
Heat surged to your cheeks, and you quickly averted your gaze, utterly flustered by his words. The quiet intensity of his voice and the sheer audacity of his statement left your heart racing in a way you couldnât explain. You quickly pushed his hand away without drawing any attention. Desperate to put some distance between you, you shifted your chair an inch or two away from him, the scrape of wood against stone louder than you intended. You kept your focus firmly on the front of the classroom, determined to concentrate on Slughornâs voice as he began explaining the potion you would be brewing.
Out of the corner of your eye, you caught the faintest flicker of his smirk, as though he knew exactly how much heâd unsettled youâand relished it.
You gritted your teeth and stared resolutely at the blackboard, clutching your quill tightly. There was no way youâd let him see just how much he had gotten under your skin. You told yourself you only needed just enough willpower to get through this class and then you would be free.
And when finally the bell rang, signaling the end of class, you bolted from your seat. You didnât want to give Tom any more time toâto do whatever it was he was doing to you. You headed straight for the door, but before you could make your escape, you heard Adamâs voice behind you.
"Hey! Wait up!"
You sighed and turned around reluctantly. Adam was quick to catch up, his brows furrowed in confusion. "What the hell was that back there?" His eyes flickered from you to the empty seat beside Tom. "Why didnât you say anything? You just let him sit there."
You tried to offer a casual shrug, hoping he wouldnât notice the way your pulse was still racing. "Itâs not a big deal."
"But he was all over you," Adam said, his voice low with irritation. "And you justâ"
"Adam, you're a big boy. I'm sure you do not need me to stand up for yourself." You cut him off, a bit sharper than you intended. "Really. Letâs just drop it, okay?"
He stared at you for a moment, clearly unconvinced, but he finally nodded. "Alright, but this isnât over. We will talk during dinner." He stated with a frown before turning to walk to his next class.
You had a free period, so you decided you would head to the library to get ahead in your studies. But as always, peace and quiet did not come easily to you. Not when Riddle was concerned.
When you saw him leaning against the wall, patiently watching you, you almost screamed from frustration. "No! Absolutely not. I am not having any more interactions with you. Whatever was going on, is done. Go ruin someone else's life with your presence, and fuck off from mine."
He pushed off the wall, crossing the distance between you slowly, as if a predator trying not to startle its prey. You took a step back with bated breath with each step he took forward, and in a blink, he grabbed a hold of your hand and began leading you away from the corridor. You tried to wriggle out of his grip, but the action just encouraged him to tighten his hold.
"Riddle!" You tried, but he shot you a dark look shadowed by a loose strand of raven-black hair over his eyes. The dangerous glint in his stare sent a chill down your spine.
Before you knew what was happening, he pulled you into a dark alcove, hidden from the gaze of any potential prying eyes. Your pulse quickened at the way he cornered you, feeling his breath against your skin.
"I'm starting to think you have a thing for dark hidden corners." You muttered, trying vainly to distract yourself from his close proximity.
He ignored your comment. "One kiss," he murmured, his lips barely brushing your ear. "And Iâll leave you alone."
You narrowed your eyes, trying to maintain some semblance of control. "One kiss?" you scoffed, taking a step back, though he followed, keeping you trapped against the wall. "And what do you think is going to make me give in to this nonsense you're asking me?"
Tom chuckled softly as he slowly grazed a finger along your collarbone. "I donât think youâll give in. I think youâll want to."
Your heart skipped a beat at his touch, but you refused to show it. "I donât want anything from you." You shook your head, trying to remain defiant. "Stop playing games, Riddle. Iâm not some toy for you to use and discard."
Tom smirked, one eyebrow raised. "If I wanted a toy, Iâd choose something less... challenging." He stepped in even closer, his body fully touching yours now, and you could feel the heat radiating off of him. "But you, youâre more interesting. So, hereâs the dealâone kiss, and Iâll leave you alone. After all, you donât seem to be able to resist me, do you?"
For a weak moment, you hesitated. He was close, too close, and the air between you crackled with an intensity you couldnât deny.
"Iâm not some damsel who will fall for a cheap trick, Riddle," you retorted, though the words were hollow, even to you.
Tomâs eyes darkened, and he reached out, cupping your chin with his fingers, forcing you to look him in the eye. "And yet here you are, trapped in my web, pretending you donât want this just as much as I do." His voice was low, intimate, and it sent a shiver down your spine. "One kiss and I promise, then I will let you go."
You inhaled sharply, torn between the desire to push him away and the overwhelming temptation to give in. For the briefest moment, you wondered what it would be likeâjust one kiss, one taste of what he was offering. He would not back down until he got what he wanted, and you knew that, so you decided to end your own torture by giving in.
"Fine," you muttered, almost against your will, your voice low with frustration. "But just one."
Tomâs smirk deepened as he leaned in, his lips brushing yours in a slow, almost teasing manner. It started gentle, a light pressure, before he deepened the kiss, and you felt your resolve start to slip away. His hand slid to your waist, pulling you closer, canting your bodies together, and the action almost made you whimper.
You were not supposed to enjoy this.
Frightened by your own pleasure at the way he had kissed you, you placed your palms on his chest and pushed him. When he pulled away, his eyes gleamed with triumph. "Iâve changed my mind," he murmured, his voice silky. "Go to the ball with me. And Iâll leave you alone."
You blinked, momentarily stunned. "No. No, Riddle, you promised you would stop."
Tomâs smirk was sharp, almost cruel. He suddenly stepped away from you, his form no longer caging you against the wall. "I promised I would let you go. And I did just now. I did not promise anything about the ball."
Your breath caught, your chest tightening. "You canâtâ"
"I can," he interrupted, his tone final. "And I will. So, say yes, and Iâll leave you in peace. But if you donât..." He let the threat hang in the air for a moment. "Or Iâll tell Montague about this little... encounter."
You stared at him, your heart racing, in disbelief over what he was sayingânoâ what he was threatening you with. Your breath hitched as he leaned closer again, his lips brushing against your ear as he spoke. "And I think Malfoy would be very interested in knowing that Adamâs place on the Quidditch team is up for discussion. One word from me and heâs off the team for good."
You opened your mouth to protest, but he silenced you with a soft, teasing kissâbrief, but enough to make your heart race even faster. When he pulled back, his gaze was firm. "Say yes. Or everything he values will slip right through his fingers."
The silence stretched between you as you hesitated, but deep down, you knew there was only one choice. "Fine," you muttered, your voice small, but the fire in his eyes made your chest tighten. "Iâll go. But only because youâre threatening him."
Tomâs smirk returned, but there was something else there nowâsatisfaction, and perhaps a touch of something else you couldnât quite place. "Whatever helps you sleep at night, darling." He said as he pulled away completely. You watched him walk away, slumped against the wall, completely helpless as his chuckle echoed down the hall.

Drive Pt 4
Constructicons x Reader
⢠âThank you?â Part of you wants to ask if theyâd hurt anyone stealing this stuff for you, but honestly? Youâre scared to. Because it looks like Long Haul and Bonecrusher probably went on a crime spree. And Bonecrusher just keeps producing stuff out of nowhere to add to the pile. Food, clothes, small electronics, soaps and candles. Maybe theyâd just demolished a mall? They mean well and theyâre trying to take care of you, but you really hope they didnât hurt anyone. Even as a guilty part of you is ridiculously excited about the food and soap.
⢠Bending, Long Haul begins setting your new things in the mini habsuite theyâd made you. Noting that Scrapper and Scavenger had been busy while heâd been out and had tapped into the base water lines to make you a tiny wash rack and waste disposal area. Your little habitat now even bigger as they all keep adding to it. âYou needed food and human stuff,â Long Haul mutters, embarrassed when you offer him a small smile. And itâs not like heâd minded. Getting to really let loose and destroy things had felt good. Freezing when you limp closer and lay a soft hand on his ped, he hesitantly brushes a servo over your head before turning away. âItâs either feed you or watch you die,â he adds gruffly, uncomfortable with your affection.
⢠Venting as you smile up at Long Haul, Bonecrusher reaches to gently scoop you up. Feeling little hands on his servos as he carries you over to his berth and lays back carefully rubbing your jaw. So small you feel insubstantial in his hands, and something about that fragility fascinates him. âYou missed us?â He asks, stilling as you grab his servo and smile up at him like youâre not the least bit frightened. That trust shocking him. How can you be so small and not cower?
⢠Watching Long Haul pimping out your alien, Barbie dream house, you wrap your arms around Bonecrusherâs servo to keep him from petting from neck to navel and further south. Itâs not like he knows better or means anything by it, but putting a stop to it as quickly as possible seems a smart move. âIt was quiet,â you say opting for honesty. Because the six of them are constantly laughing and jostling each other. Loud and raucous in a way that reminds you of a frat house. Complete with the alcohol, or high grade as theyâd called it. After realizing youâre safe as long as you play along at being their collective pet, youâd started consciously trying to make friends. After all, your survival depends on them.
⢠âMust have been boring,â Long Haul calls from the floor as he arranges boxes of food stuffs in a tidy pile in a corner. Youâll need storage space so this stuff isnât just lying around. âIâm thinking cabinets and shelves,â he adds, looking at where Mixmaster and Hook are working on reports. Waiting for Mixmaster to vent at him, but set aside his report to help.
⢠Glancing at his brothers fussing with your space again, Hook checks on you and Bonecrusher. Making sure the much bigger mech isnât being too rough with you, but so far heâs been shockingly gentle. And right now the huge mech is making a grumbling purr of his engines at you. Something heâd call out anyone else for. Getting punched in the face by Bonecrusher not exactly on his to do list, though, because his brothers definitely donât warrant the same gentleness you do.

*About Damn Time â Jake Seresin
Warnings:Â public kink, unprotected, teasing, language
I walked in from training, instantly taking my hair out of my tight updo. I ran my fingers through my hair, well aware of the eyes that followed me through the room. I knew all too well who was watching me. That just made it even more fun.
It was no secret - to anyone - that Jake Seresin had a massive crush on me. I found out after about the third time he scared off the hot guy talking to me at the bar. In fact, no one comes near me because of him. Not that I minded. I only wish he would finally tell me how he felt.
"Lieutenant Y/L/N," Jake nodded as I walked into the auditorium.
"Lieutenant Seresin," I nodded. "You look good."
"We're in the same uniform," he stuttered.
"Relax, Hangman," I said, playfully patting his face. "It's just a compliment. You act as if no one has ever told you how handsome you are."
"You think I'm. . ."
"Don't act like you don't know it," I teased him. To send him over the edge â and to give him a hintâ I kissed his cheek before heading over to talk to Phoenix.
"He cannot take his eyes off of you," she laughed as soon as I walked over to her. "That poor boy."
"Hey," I said, putting my hands up in defense. "All I'm doing is flirting and teasing him a bit."
"All you're doing is torturing the man," she said.
"It wouldn't be torture if he did something about his feelings," I shrugged. "It's been 13 months of this. You think he'll finally tell me how he feels about me now that we might be put on different ships?"
"I don't know, sweetie," she shrugged. "I hope he does."
"Me too," I sighed. "Maybe I should just tell him how I feel."
"I thought you said the whole reason you haven't told him is because you wanted to let him be the man and confess his feelings for you."
"I thought so," I mumbled. "But I'm getting tired of waiting for him to finally do something about it."
I walked away, heading to check in. Little did I know that Phoenix was running to the others and coming up with a plan.
* * * * *
After graduation, we all changed out of our uniforms and went to the unofficial party. I ended up showing up a little late and by the time I got there, everything was in full swing.
"There you are, Y/L/N," Jake teased me as I walked in late to one of the other trainee's homes. "I thought you ditched us."
"You know I would never," I smiled as I patted him on the arm as I passed. "I got stuck talking to and taking pictures with my family. They finally went back to the hotel after I promised I'd meet them for breakfast."
"Guess that means you can't get batshit drunk," Payback smirked.
"I never said that," I said, looking over at Jake and sending him a wink. "I'll be right back. I gotta get out of this uniform."
"Aren't you going to help her with that, Hangman?" I heard Coyote taunt Jake as I walked into the bathroom down the hall from the kitchen.
I quickly changed out of my uniform and into the light blue silk floor-length gown. I was about to zip it up when I got an idea. I opened the door, instantly seeing Phoenix.
"Hey, girly," she smiled. "Need help with your dress?"
"I do," I smirked. "Any chance you can push Hangman into the hall?"
She looked into the kitchen and laughed. "Honey, he is hovering around the corner, waiting for you to come out. I'll mention something to him."
"Thank you," I said sing-songy as I closed the door.
I heard as Phoenix mentioned me taking a while getting into my dress. Jake cleared his throat before I could hear footsteps. Just then, I peeked my head out of the bathroom.
"Jake!" I whispered loudly.
"Yeah?" His breath got caught in his throat when he turned around and saw me barely dressed. "What's up?"
"Can you help me zip my dress?"
"Sure," he said, his voice dropping. I carefully held my dress to my chest as I walked out of the bathroom and turned around. "Thank you, Jake," I said, sounding like I was relieved. "I was hiding in the bathroom and thought I heard Phoenix."
I looked over my shoulder to see Jake focused on the fact that I wasn't wearing a bra underneath my dress. "Everything okay, Hangman?"
"Yeah," he said a little too quickly. He slowly reached forward and grabbed my zipper. I hid my smirk when he carefully zipped up my dress.
"All good?" I asked.
"All good," he said, his voice catching in his throat. I turned around and didn't hide my smirk when he checked me out.
"Jake," I said, sounding concerned as I gently reached up and felt his forehead and cheek. "Are you feeling okay? You look kind of flushed."
"I'm fine," he stuttered.
"Let's get you a drink." I grabbed his hand and led him into the kitchen.
"Damn, Y/L/N!" Payback laughed when we walked in.
"Jealous?" I smirked.
"I know someone who might be," Coyote mumbled, hiding behind his beer.
A few minutes later, I noticed Jake off to the side, listening to Fanboy, Phoenix, Bob, and Omaha argue about their fantasy football while I was listening to Rooster and Payback argue about who's got a better time on the track.
"I don't know why you boys are debating this," I scoffed. "Everyone knows that I've held the record for the fastest time since I joined your little training group."
"Y/N, can I borrow you for a minute?" Phoenix asked.
"Sure," I shrugged. "Not like I'm missing anything here."
"You are evil."
"How so?" I laughed. She looked into the living room, toward Jake.
"Do me a favor," Phoenix sighed as she looked back at me. "Please put that poor boy out of his misery and just tell him you feel the same. I can't handle him moping around and watching you from across the room with yearning in his eyes."
"I'm still waiting for him to tell me how he feels," I chuckled, sending her a playful wink.
"Well," she giggled, "let's give him a little push."
She grabbed my hand and pulled me back into the other room. "Whatever happened with that guy from your hometown?" She asked a little too loudly.
"What guy?" Rooster asked, glancing at Hangman whose beer was frozen halfway to his lips.
"No one," I pushed off. "He was an old neighbor, growing up. Apparently, he's here doing his residency and looked me up. He wants to get drinks."
"You gonna go?" Coyote asked, no-so-subtly looking at Hangman.
"Not sure," I shrugged. "He's an old friend, but I haven't seen him in a while. Then again, it's not like there's anyone else with a better offer."
I pretended to see someone trying to get my attention and excused myself. Instead, I hid around the corner and listened to everyone badger poor Jake.
"You good, Hangman?" Rooster laughed.
"Yeah," Payback chuckled. "You look like you're gonna throw up."
"Or kill a man," Coyote mumbled.
"Maybe the guy who's been pestering Y/N to go out with him?" Phoenix teased him.
"You heard her," Rooster smirked. "She'd forget him if she had a better offer. Anyone know of a better offer?"
Part of me did feel bad for teasing him like this. Jake is actually a great guy. He got a bad rap when we first started training. Sure, he's 'Hangman' when we're flying, but he's not actually like that when we're on the ground. He's literally saved me from a drunk creep at the bar on multiple occasions.
I hadn't noticed that they had stopped talking until someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me around the corner. Once they had me against the wall, I saw it was Jake.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I scoffed as I pushed him off of me. "You can't go grabbing people, Seresin."
"I'm sorry," he said, not sounding like himself.
"Are you okay?" I asked, my own tone of voice changing.
"Yeah," he said with a soft smile. "I'm okay. I just needed to talk to you."
"And you thought kidnapping me was the best thing to do?" I taunted him. "There's this thing called a conversation."
My sentence got caught in my throat when he took a step forward, trapping me between him and the wall. I couldn't look away from his eyes as he slowly leaned in. I grabbed his face and closed the gap between us. Our lips instantly started moving roughly in sync as we wrapped our arms around each other.
We both let out moans as he pushed me firmer up against the wall. He broke the kiss and reattached them to my neck. I leaned my head against the wall and closed my eyes as he explored from my collarbone to my ear.
"Shit, Seresin," I moaned.
"You've been driving me crazy, Y/L/N," he moaned against my skin. I gasped when he roughly kissed me again. This time, I broke the kiss and rubbed my hands up and down his chest.
"Follow me," I whispered. I grabbed his hand and led him down to the basement. The second we got to the bottom of the stairs, Jake turned me around. As soon as I was facing him, he leaned in and kissed me. I instantly wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back.
Without breaking the kiss, Jake picked me up and put me on the counter. He opened my legs and stepped between them. Our lips moved in sync and our tongues danced as we held each other close. I ran my fingers through his hair as he slid his hands up my thighs, bringing my dress with him.
Unable to resist anymore, I roughly pushed him away. I hopped off the counter and landed directly in front of him.
I looked up at him with innocent eyes. "Can you help me with my zipper?"
His pout turned into a smirk when I turned around. He stepped up and dragged his hands up and down my arms. He kissed my neck as he slowly unzipped my dress. I turned around before letting my dress pool at my feet.
"Fuck," Jake moaned. "I knew you were gorgeous under that flight suit."
"You've thought about what I had underneath my flight suit?" I smirked. I reached forward and started unbuttoning his shirt.
"All the time," he moaned as I tore off his shirt.
"Well, good," I said as I grabbed the waistband of his pants and pulled him toward me. "To be honest, I've often thought about what you had underneath your flight suit. Especially when I am alone. . . Late at night. . . Or in the shower."
"Fuck," he moaned again as he crashed his lips onto mine. I wrapped my arms around him as he pulled me into his chest. He backed us up until we collapsed onto the couch. As Jake climbed on top of me. I pulled the waistband of his pants down.
Jake tore his lips away from mine as we finished undressing. His eyes glanced over my bare body before he rolled his body down mine. I arched my back and moaned when his body pressed firmly to mine, smashing all the right parts together.
"Oh Jake," I moaned as he continued to rub his body against mine.
"Fuck, Y/N," he moaned back. "I want you so bad."
"Then take me," I grunted loudly before grabbing his face and bringing his lips down to mine. "Finally take me."
Jake pressed his lips back to mine as we both adjusted. Without breaking the kiss, he grabbed my leg and wrapped it around his waist. I arched my back and moaned against his lips as he pushed himself into me.
"Holy shit," he groaned against my lips.
"Oh baby," I moaned as I bit his bottom lip. He chuckled before focusing back on his hip movements. The more he moved his hips, the weaker mine got. I squeezed my eyes shut as the pressure built.
"Fuck," he swore under his breath. I opened my eyes to see him watching me.
"What's wrong, baby?" I purred.
"Nothing," he stuttered through his grunts. "Just watching your face change as I. . . As I make. . . Seeing the effect I have on you."
I arched my back, bringing my face closer to his. "Just you wait, baby. There's a whole lot more we got to do."
"Fuck!"
I gasped when his movements got deeper and sharper. He kissed my neck as I dragged my hands up and down his bare back.
"I have wanted you for so long."
"And I have wanted you," I gasped, Jake's movements cutting me off.
Our lips reattached as our hips continued to dance. We could hear the party going on upstairs, but neither one of us cared. We only focused on each other; our movements, our lips, our feelings.
"Shit!" I moaned as I reached orgasm.
"Shit," Jake echoed me. He gently pulled out of me but remained hovering over me. "Y/N," he whispered, "there's something I've been dying to say to you since we first met."
"And what's that?" I asked as I snaked my arms around his neck.
"I'm crazy into you," he said, pressing his forehead to mine. "The thought of not being with you literally drove me mad. Now, the idea of someone else getting to have you makes me ready to get kicked out of the Navy."
"Don't do that," I pouted. "Then I'll be all alone."
"I will never let that happen," he whispered.
* * * * *
After going another round, we quickly got dressed and tried to make ourselves look like we didn't just hook up. With matching smirks on our faces, we headed back upstairs.
"And where were you two?" Payback smirked as he folded his arms and studied us.
"Downstairs," Jake smirked, "in the basement."
He grabbed my hand and led me into the kitchen. I winked at Payback and the others.
"Finally," Phoenix chuckled. Rooster laughed as he agreed.
"About time they hooked up."

EXPIRATION DATE .đĽ Ý Ë
pairing: seokmin x gn!reader wc: 1k words warnings: pure highschool fluff, reader reassures seokmin
âi want to stay with these feelings foreverâ
the night sky was beautiful, with no clouds to be seen, but countless stars to guide lost people. the night breeze hit your bodies, which caught seokminâs attention to you, noticing how you were slightly shaking.
âtold you to bring a jacket,â he said softly and took off his jacket, wrapping it around your shoulders instead. âhere, youll start to feel warm soon.â
seokmin wrapped his arm around you and brought you closer to him, as if he wanted to transfer some of his warmth to you. his hand started to rub against your covered arm in a soothing way.
you turned your head to look at him, hoping you were going to find him looking at you as well, but he was looking at the sky with a small smile on his face. you thought youd be a bit upset with him not looking at you, but instead you felt your heart skip a beat when your eyes landed on his side profile. his eyes moving as he mentally tried to look at all of the stars on display for him, his small smile giving you the feeling of being at home.
when he finally looked at you, you swore there were actual butterflies in your stomach. his smile grew a little and you smiled at him without realizing. âenjoying the night?â you nodded, still fascinated with his face. you couldnât help but think to yourself how could someone be not only the most handsome guy in this entire world, but also the most kind and heartwarming human being ever?
âwhat is it?â he touched the tip of your nose. âcat got your tongue?â you could feel your cheeks heating up, you let out a small giggle and shook your head. âno, im just enjoying the view. its breathtaking.â
seokmin chuckled and looked up. âit really is.â
oh silly seokmin, only if he knew you were talking about him. to you, nothing could beat seokmin's beauty, not a sunset by the beach, not a sunny morning, or even a night sky full of stars and full moon.
he turned his gaze towards you again and placed his hand that was on your arm to the back of your head, caressing it with the lightest touch ever. âi see you in my future,â he chuckled. âah, maybe i shouldnât have said that. i think iâm going too fast.â
âi see you in my future as well,â you said without any hesitation and you could swear you saw seokminâs eyes grow bigger for a couple seconds before they became almost too small because of the bright heart shaped grin he gave you. âim not sure what i will do after graduation. iâm not sure about basically anything when it comes to my future, all i can say with 100% certainty is that i see you there.â
he sighed happily and looked back up, but not without taking your hand in his before. âhow long do you think these emotions will last?â you tilted your head as you saw his smile faltering. âwhat do you mean?â
âi mean, for how long will we be in love with each other and what will happen when that passion dies?â the vulnerability and fear were clear in his voice, which got quieter than before in each word that came out of his mouth. he slowly looked back at you, his eyes running through your face as if he wanted to capture it in your mind so he could never forget how you look.
seokmin is a hopeless romantic, but being in love with someone can only take two turns: a happy and long life with the person you fell in love with or a terrible heartbreak. being in love and admitting it means showing the person the most vulnerable side of yours, not knowing what they will do about it and only hoping that they will accept you with open arms and love you in the way you deserve to be loved or even better.
you knew he tended to hold himself back every time he became aware of his true and raw feelings out of nowhere.
âseokmin, im in love with you, not with the idea of being in love. my feelings for you dont have an expiration date, and if they did, there would be no meaning to me living,â you sighed and placed your hand on his cheek, the tip of your fingers in contact with his hair. seokmin leaned into your touch and closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the feeling of your warm hand on his cold cheek due the weather. âi know being in love is scary, sometimes i am afraid of how strong the feelings i have towards you are. but when i look at you, that fear is gone.â
seokmin smiled and tried his best to not cry, holding back his tears as if his life depended on it. âweâre still young, lets enjoy our time together without thinking about a deadline or anything like that. im sure there wonât be, but still⌠i want you to stop worrying too much, iâm here and i donât plan on leaving at all.â
he nodded and placed his hand over yours that was resting on his cheek. âi know, i dont plan on leaving as well. itâs just,â he took a deep breath before continuing. âsometimes its scary. i dont want to stop loving you or stop being loved by you.â
you pouted in response, finding his words endearing and at the same time kinda silly. how could you ever stop loving him? is he aware of how good looking he is? is he aware of the big and kind heart he has? âi wont stop loving you, silly.â
he brought your pulse near his lips and kissed it, making your heart beat so fast you could swear he was able to listen to your heartbeat. he looked at you like a baby looking at its mom after crying for hours because it missed her.
seokmin held a constellation in his eyes. his love for life and for you being so much that it pours out through his eyes, his words and his cute aggressions from time to time.
âlove you more than anything,â his voice came out as a loving wisper. he kissed your hair and hugged you. that was when he knew everything was going to be fine, that your love for him was more than true.

unlike most of the loud-mouthed, irritating people sae itoshi finds himself constantly surrounded by, heâs long since learned that you are not the type to openly express what youâre thinking about unless explicitly asked.Â
so, for you, he finds himself asking into the quiet, sleepy darkness of your bedroom, âwhat are you thinking about?âÂ
âthat starting tomorrow, iâm going to forget all about you.â you hum, propping yourself up by pressing your palm against the muscular plane of his chest. one of the straps of your silky camisole slips off your shoulder; it shouldnât be as tantalizing to him as it is, but he thinks everything about you, everything you do, is designed to specifically tempt him.Â
he focuses on the tiny strip of fabric, on the smooth expanse of your skin, before his eyes flit back up to your face; he meets your gaze, cocks an eyebrow. âoh?â
truth be told, saeâs not a witty person. everyone lets him get the final word in because heâs got this cold aura and seemingly disinterested expression that screams âi donât give a fuck,â but he does care. to a certain extent. he doesnât care about the arguments he has with people; he just cares about winning. when he calls you, and you pick up, even if itâs on the second to last ring before he gets sent straight to voicemail, he considers that a win. when you open the door for him before he can even knock, he considers that a win.Â
when you admit that youâre thinking about him, even if itâs to say itâs because you plan on erasing him from your memory, he considers that a win.Â
âwanna know why?â you ask him, and he nods. if you were anyone else, he wouldnât even care.Â
ââcause i canât handle being the girl that keeps having her ex spend the night.â you sit up fully now, removing your hand from his body. he misses your warmth the moment your touch leaves him.Â
âeasy fix. we can get back together, then.â the two of you are practically together anyway. he cooks you breakfast the morning after, and you still wear his boxers as pajamas. his bodyâs pretty sensitive to most sensations, especially early in the morning, but his feet have gotten used to hitting the cold hardwood floor of your bedroom when he wakes up before dawn to brush his teeth and get his day started.Â
âtoo late. i've already blocked your number from my phone.âÂ
he almost laughs at that. instead, he takes your right wrist, his thumb gently pressed against your pulse point; he likes to apply just enough pressure so that he can feel every beat of your heart. âyeah? i can buy a new phone, get a new number.âÂ
âyou make breakups difficult for no reason.â you tell him, but not yanking back your wrist. itâs why he feels bold enough to bring your fingers to his mouth, lightly kissing the tips of your fingers.Â
âwe broke up?â he peers up at you, your fingers still so close to his mouth that you can feel the way he breathes life into his words. annoying. heâs so annoying. the worst part is, youâre pretty sure heâs somehow convinced himself that you ending things was just you throwing a tantrum. heâs still treating you the same as he always does.Â
âi broke up with you.â not like he needs the reminder.Â
âi donât remember agreeing to that.âÂ
âyou donât have to agree. breakups donât have to be mutual.âÂ
âi have a game next week. weâre going to be playing in france. i was thinking a day before the match, we could go visit the louvre, like you talked about.â heâs still going on casually, making plans like there was never a doubt in his mind that youâre going to show up to his game. you received the ticket he sent and somehow couldnât bring yourself to toss it in the trash, right where it belongs, so itâs currently hiding in your nightstand drawer.Â
âsae, iâm not going. iâm not your girlfriend.âÂ
well, youâre certainly his. he made sure to have you scream out a chorus of yours, yours, yours! to have it drilled into your pretty little head.Â
âhow do you know my name? i thought you forgot all about me.â heâs holding back a smile.Â
âiâm forgetting all about you starting tomorrow.â you point out, and one corner of his mouth quirks up, a smug smirk on his face as he nods subtly to the alarm clock on your nightstand.Â
âit is tomorrow.â
you blink, before staring at him curiously. âyeah.â you say slowly, having been bested by sae itoshi once again. âwhat do you think i should do now, then?âÂ
give him all your tomorrows for the rest of your life.Â
he doesnât say that, though. he just pulls you in for a long, deep kiss. when you say his name, breathlessly and full of longing, he takes the time to fix the strap of your camisole, knowing itâs futile since he'll be pulling it off your body soon, anyway.Â
he wins.

Snapdragon
Dragon!Sylus x Non-MC! Reader
Part 1 of ?
*This will be Non-Canon BTW it starts with Dragon!Sylus and goes into normal Sylus*
Warnings: Blood, cussing...I think that's it lol
**non-mc but will be called MC because it's easier to write than (y/n) every time đ**
-The Start of Something Normal-
-1st person POV- changes throughout**
Have you ever wondered if there was something...more?
Something other than going to a 9-5 and paying rent with all you earned, there must be something else.
At least I had my games right?
-
Today is weird.
Just weird.
Ever since I woke up from a weird dream, that I can't even remember, I've been randomly smelling flowers.
Checked the LADS game, flowers.
Got ready for work, flowers.
Delt with customers, flowers.
But I'm the only one smelling it?
Maybe it's the stress, I'll just have to take melatonin when I get home.
-
As I walked through the front door of my apartment, coming home after a long day at work, I was greeted by dark silence. I hate living alone...
I sighed as I placed my keys on the shelves by my door and threw my heavy jacket on top of them. I limped slightly into my living room/kitchen, my feet hurting from standing all day. When I reached the couch, my nose was assaulted by the smell of flowers once again causing me to groan.
"What the fuck... Bruh." I plopped down on the cheap leather futon with a weeze, reaching for the bottle of melatonin gummies I threw on there the other night.
Popping two into in my mouth, I grabbed the iPad next to the bottle and opened up the Love and Deepspace app.
I smiled when I saw Sylus show up immediately on the screen, my heart doing a badump as I sang quietly along to the intro.
Finally getting onto the game, I went to the daily login that I forgot to get this morning, ignoring Zayne standing there in his Panda onesie.
After completing the normal, I didn't know what to do, so I went to check the memories. Only then did I remember I never actually watched the new Dragon Sylus cards...
From what I heard about them it seemed traumatizing. But I guess if I had nothing else to do?...I'm gonna regret it aren't I.
The smell of flowers hit my nose again, even stronger than before, when I tapped the first one I saw called 'Abyssal Blossom'.
As the memory loads, the iPad glitches and shuts off. Maybe I forgot to charge it and it died? The smell of flowers is almost overwhelming, as if I'm standing in a field full of them.
I started feeling tired, so tired that I could hardly stand up so I decided to just sleep for a while on the futon. I fell asleep quickly.
-
This dream?...felt familiar...and too real.
The scent of the flowers made more sense here, the field looking familiar...oh its almost exactly like the flower field you can see in one of Sylus' Dragon cards.
What was the name of it again? Abyssal something...
Oh whatever, these flowers are nice. The scent kinda comforts me, almost like a mix of vanilla citrus? With a slight hint of herbal lavender I think... I don't know I'm bad with identifying stuff.
This dream is quite detailed though, the flowers, the dirt, the nice cool breeze and warm rays of sun on my skin...wait, what's that? Looks like something flying in the sky? A big bird maybe...it's coming closer? Oh shit, what the fuck-?!
The air was knocked out of my lungs as I was picked up and yoinked through the air.
"Are you here to try to kill me?"
I blinked up at the...man? Are we flying??
"No?"
I wheezed out my answer, it sounding more like a question in my shock as I clung onto him. The man? narrowed his eyes at me.
Are those red eyes? And horns? Why does he look like Sylus?? Wait, Dragon Sylus???
He seemed to search my face for something, his own relaxing a bit as he found what he was looking for.
"Then why are you in my territory?"
"I don't know, I just woke up here..."
"Woke up here? Who, in their right mind, would come into my territory for any reason?"
"I don't know...I just remember falling asleep at home and waking up in this field. It's beautiful by the way."
"Hm..."
"What should I call you? I'm MC."
"...Stayrus*" (Something that sounds similar lol)
"...How about Sylus?"
"Do what you want. It'll be up to me whether I answer or not."
"So...where are you taking me?"
"To my home, where I will be keeping an eye on you."
"Oh okay."
"Don't get any ideas human. I'm bored and I have been waiting for something interesting."
"I mean, I figured. No one just goes out and picks up a random stranger without being a little bored."
He grunts as he continues flying through the sky.
He brought me to a cave opening at the top of a deep canyon, he sat me down and lightly pushed me inside.
"You will be staying here until I say so."
"Alrighty. Any rules?"
"No...you are oddly okay with this."
"Well," I shrug, "it's either this or fend for myself in an unfamiliar place outside."
-
"Sylus?"
"..."
"Um...Stayraytus??"
"That was terrible."
"Sorry..."
"..." He sighs, "What is it?"
"So...I have zero survival skills...can you teach me how to survive here? Please?"
"...child."
"Yes...sorry."
-
It's been about a week since Sylus, yes he started answering to it, let me stay in his 'home'. He started teaching me some survival things, like how to find food, telling me to ask him first if the thing is edible. Other than that, it was...boring.
In my boredom, while Sylus lay on the cool cave floor surrounded by gold, I started stretching.
Touching my toes, bending to the side, balancing on one foot like a flamingo...you name it, I was trying to do it.
I was in the downward dog position when Sylus spoke.
"What are you doing?"
"...yoga?"
"...yugo."
"Pffft-" I couldn't help but laugh a bit, "it's Yo-gah."
"...why are you doing whatever that's called?"
"It's so my body doesn't get stiff."
"...how old are you?"
"23."
"..."
"...Don't you dare say it."
Sylus grunted as he went back to messing with his golden lamp thing.
After a bit of silence he spoke.
"I'm 27."
I looked up at him in a little surprise.
"Really? You look my age honestly."
"hm."
-
We were sitting by the entrance of the cave, watching the sunset, when Sylus broke the silence.
"Your hair..."
"What's wrong with my hair? Is there knots? I swear I got them all out earlier..."
"No, it's just different."
"What do you mean?"
"everyone I've ever seen had lighter hair...yours is darker. It's...pretty."
My face felt hot as I turned away from him.
"Oh, thank you...no one's said that about me before."
"Why not?"
I shrug.
"I'm sure that you get called pretty, beautiful, every time someone sees you, I mean, you're pretty attractive...I'm going to shut up now..."
There was a bit of silence until he spoke, looking over my face.
"No one has ever called me any of those things before..."
"Oh...well I still think you are. Those people are just blind."
"...Thank you."
I smile at him.
"Any time."
A comfortable silence settled over us but I couldn't take my eyes off of him if I tried. His hair looked so soft and fluffy...
"Hey Sylus?"
"Hm?"
"Can I...touch your hair?"
He looked questioningly at me, one of his brows raised.
"Why?"
"It looks so soft, but you don't need to say yes. I was just curious."
Sylus looked to the side, seeming to think for a moment before he looked down with a small smile, giving a small nod before he lay stretched out and placed his head on my lap, careful of his horns.
I let out an excited hum as I carefully ran my fingers through his hair, my nails slightly scratching his scalp. He grunted, not really used to this type of contact but...he thinks he can get used to this.
Sylus closed his eyes as he felt your hands work their way through his hair, around the base of his horns gently and lightly rubbing behind them in the hard to reach places. His chest felt warm, his heart fluttering as all he could think about were your hands, the warmth of your thighs...
He could definitely get used to this.
-
It seemed winter was fast approaching as the cave seemed to get colder, frost covering the edges of the entrance. I sat snuggled into Sylus' side.
"...What are you doing?"
"It's cold, it's called cuddling for warmth."
"... do as you wish."
His tail gently curled around us, pushing me just a bit closer.
"...it is getting colder out. We'll have to get you something warmer."
"Ah, don't worry about it. You're warm enough so I'll just have to stay right here."
Sylus grunted, his tail wrapping just a bit tighter. Just enough for me to notice.
-
The next day, Sylus was gone for a little while. I had to stay warm by my own makeshift fire, the dry sticks that were just by the edge of the cave entrance being my fuel.
While I waited for Sylus to get back I watched as the smoke went up through a small hole in the ceiling of the cave, wondering, how long have I been here? Where he could have gone? ...how much longer will I be allowed to stay?
After just a few more minutes, I heard the sound of his powerful wings as he landed at the entrance. He was holding a big bundle of... something.
He walked over to me and just, dumped what he was holding onto my head.
"Mph?!"
"This should work."
His tail moved the pile of burning sticks to the side before I could accidentally fall onto it with his gift still suffocating me.
Seeing me still struggling with it, he chuckled and plucked one blanket off my head letting me poke my head out of the pile.
"Guh! Why you do this?"
"English Sweetie."
"What is this?"
"Blankets, for warmth."
"...Thank you Sylus."
"Hm. Now scooch over, I'm cold."
"You're literally a walking furnace?"
"... I'm cold."
"Just say you wanna cuddle."
"...cuddle me."
-
As winter gave way to spring, the flowers started blooming again. The change in temperature seemed to make Sylus stir crazy.
I let out a squeal as his thick tail wrapped around my waist and pulled me along.
"Sylus! No!"
"Sylus yes."
"No!"
"Do you want to see the flowers or not?"
"...fine. But if you drop me, I will haunt you."
-
After a short flight, Sylus landed at the field of flowers he found me in. I looked around, having not had the chance to fully look around before being whisked away, when I saw something that made me gasp.
"Oh! Look, there are Snapdragon's!"
I moved towards them, Sylus staying close to my side.
"What? There aren't any other dragons here."
"No not actual dragons, Sy, they're a type of flower."
I move so he could see it better.
"This is a snapdragon!"
"That looks nothing like a dragon."
"It kinda does, see? This is it's eyes, nose, horns, and this!"
I push the sides of the flower together, making a small opening into the flower.
"Is it's mouth! Cool right?"
"... dragons don't open their mouth just because you touch their cheeks."
"These ones do. Try it! It's fun."
"Fine."
I watched as he moved his claws around the flower, actively trying not to damage it, but failing.
"Sylus you have to be gentle." I giggle as he accidentally crushes the flower between his claws.
"Here, use the pads of your fingers instead."
I hold his hands as I help him gently open the Snapdragon's mouth. His breath seemed to stutter as he let me guide his hands.
"There, you did it!"
"Hmm..."
In a small burst of confidence, I giggle and lift my hands to his face where I gently press on his cheeks.
"Good job!"
His eyes widen slightly and out of reflex, or shock, his mouth slightly opens.
"You know, you're my big Snapdragon."
-
After we made our way back to the cave, I had a thought.
"What if I end up going back some day?"
"Back where?"
"My home, like how I woke up here, will I one day wake up back home?"
Sylus seemed to stiffen a bit as he looked towards me, eyes searching my face.
"...do you want to go back home."
"I don't know, some days I miss home but most days I forget."
"I understand...what if you never go back?"
"Then I hope you'll let me stay?"
"I'll be here."
There is a long comfortable silence as we watch the sunset from the mouth of the cave once again. I took in a big breath of the freshest air I'll ever have and enjoy the moment.
"Sylus? Can you promise me something?"
"What is it?"
"If I do end up leaving somehow, I want you to find things that make you happy, not just surviving but living."
His tail flicks a bit behind us.
"...fine, as long as you promise the same."
-
A few days later we were at the flower field once again.
The sun set and we continued to sit amongst the flowers after a long day of lazing around. The stars slowly came out one by one.
While I watched the stars it reminded me of a song that gets stuck in my head.
"You and I stargazing...intertwining souls..."
I quietly sang, trying not to disturb the quiet night.
While I looked at the stars and the moon that hung beautifully, Sylus looked my way with a slightly raised brow, curious.
"What's that?
He whispered his question, his rough voice surprisingly soft.
I gave a small hum, still looking at the night sky.
"it's a song from my home... sitting here under the stars reminded me of it."
"Hm..."
"You know...the moon is very beautiful tonight."
"...yeah, it is."
He couldn't seem to look away from you, watching the moon and stars that reflected in your eyes.
-
I heard birds chirping as I slowly woke up from a comfortable sleep, feeling warm. I could smell flowers still. I tried to turn but a weight on my side stopped me.
I heard a deep grunt as the weight tightened around me and pulled me closer. A second weight being added onto my legs, seeming to curl around and in between them.
I groggily opened my eyes to be met with a familiar shiny red jewel, just barely grazing my nose. I moved my hands up from their place by my stomach up to the jewel. I leaned my face into the jewel and snuggled closer.
I could feel a soft rumbling coming from the dragon I was cuddled to, having realized it was him from the warmth he gave me.
"It seems we fell asleep..."
His voice was deep from sleep, his clawed hands pulling me closer. The scent of flowers being drowned out by his smell. Scent like a bonfire and leather.
"We're still in the field?"
"Yeah...I didn't want to wake you."
I felt his warm breath on the top of my head, taking in my own scent.
He...he's definitely used to this. He never wants to let you go. You gave him a warmth he thought he would never receive, showed him care and treated him not as the monster everyone screams he is. With you, he's not a Fiend. He's Sylus, your Snapdragon.
-**
It was only a few moments...
That's all it took.
One second, you both were walking through the field towards home when there was a sharp sound. Sylus reacted almost immediately, dodging the claymore that sliced into the dirt where he was just seconds ago.
He barely let out a breathe before the assailant attacked again. He dodged once more before he heard.
"Sylus! Help!"
His head snapped towards the direction of your voice. What he saw made his blood boil. You were being pinned to the ground by a big burly, ugly, man.
"I got you!"
In his moment of distraction, the one attacking him hit him with something like magic. Golden chains wrapped around him, pinning him down. He heard a laugh as a woman walked into his sight, she was a sorceress and she had an overconfident smirk on her face.
"Time to face your fate, Fiend!" She laughed out, "honestly, I thought you were stronger than that. How disappointing."
"Fate?! What fate?!"
Sylus heard you struggling, making him start to struggle as well so he can get you out of here.
"Now now," the sorceress tutted towards him, then turned towards you, "His fate is to die by my claymore. Simple."
"That's his fate?! Bullshit!"
"You can't change fate-"
"Like fuck I will!"
You cut her off, just as you knocked the large man off of you with a quick kick to the groin. When you were free you threw yourself between her and Sylus.
"Just watch me."
You smirked as you watched her eyes widen and she took a step back.
"MC! No!"
Sylus struggled with the golden chains of magic holding him down.
"Don't worry Snapdragon...I got this."
"Stop! This is not-"
"Too late, already did."
-**
I grunt as the claymore goes through my chest, I can feel the intense pain for only a moment before it seems to disappear. The claymore is lodged in my chest, a ringing going through my ears. Sylus' eyes widen as it feels all the air is taken from his lungs when he sees the end of the claymore exit your back.
"MC!"
"Hahaha! Now what are you going to do Fiend?!"
"I'm going to fucking kill you!"
I heard a growl and the sound of something breaking but my mind goes a little fuzzy as a fight rages on, roars of anger and grunts reach my ears along with the sounds of a blade and claws. I could faintly hear the sound of tearing flesh.
All I could do was stare at the claymore still embedded in my chest, my hands too shaky and weak to pull it.
For a moment I thought the last things I would hear was the fight until-
"MC-"
Sylus slides over to me, his bloodied claws gently holding me. His wounds are already healing over as his panicked eyes look me over.
"MC, she's gone, you don't have to worry now. I got you."
"Sy..."
"Shit..." His voice grew hoarse, his eyes and hands shaking slightly as he tried to figure out a way to help. He seemed to find an idea as his brow set in determination.
"We need to resonate, my healing could help you but we need to resonate, now."
I nod slightly and he grabs my hand gently with one of his as his other gently tries to remove the claymore. I could feel his claws shake a little as he closed his eyes but I didn't want to close my eyes yet. I didn't want it to be the last time I did, so I watched as his power and a power I didn't know I had, connected. When I concentrate I can feel his anger, his fear, and something else I couldn't place. I watched as the claymore fell out of sight, his now free hand coming up to cup my face.
He leaned closer, our foreheads lightly touching.
I could almost feel my flesh mend, but the pain was numb to me as I kept my eyes on his face. I saw his brows furrow, his lips thin in what looks like pain-our shared pain, his eyes stayed closed in concentration.
After a moment more, I felt complete. I let out a sigh as the resonation slowly disappeared, my eyes fluttering closed a moment before I fixed them onto him. I watched as his eyes slowly opened, his nose grazing mine as his eyes locked on mine.
"You aren't going anywhere. Not without me. We live together and we die together. Only you can kill me, and I you."
There is a slight glow to his eyes and the gem in his chest as he stares into my eyes, into my soul.
"Sylus-"
"You're stuck with me. Who else will teach me about your home?"
I shake my head with a giggle.
"What would I do without my Snapdragon?"
"Hm..."
"I'd probably die."
He glared at me for even joking about it, his hand gripping mine a little harder. The hand on my cheek pressed against me, forcing my forehead to press onto his a little more.
"Even if I wasn't here, I would do everything to make sure you stay by me."
"That doesn't even make sense." I laugh.
"You know what I mean." He smiles as you bring a hand to his face, rubbing your thumb of his cheek to get some dirt off. He leaned into your touch, his eyes full of warmth as he continued to stare into your eyes.
After a moment I pull away and stand, Sylus standing as well. I look around at the now destroyed field, a pang of sadness hits my heart...
As both of us take in the aftermath, an oddly familiar scent hits my nose...when suddenly my body starts to glow slightly.
"Wait, Sylus what's happening?"
"I don't know, come here."
This feeling I get from the soft glow feels familiar...my eyes widen when I realize, the smell...
"Sylus!"
"MC?!"
We reach out to each other but the moment his clawed hand touches my hand, a bright light shines and I'm gone.
-**
Nothing is left of her as the light completely disappates
"MC?!"
Sylus turns this way and that, wanting- needing to see just a glimpse of her. His tail whipping around wildly as he floats around in a panic, clawed hands reaching for something, anything.
"MC!...Where..."
Sylus stops for a moment, slowly landing on the cold ground beneath him before collapsing to his knees.
He throws his head back as he lets out the most broken yell that could be heard for miles.
He looked to the side when he ran out of breath, his chest heaving as he let out a whimper. He saw that claymore, laying coldly on the dirt. Your blood still covered it, your scent still on it...
A few tears fell from his eyes as he reached out and gripped the handle. He pulled it towards him, curling around it slightly on the ground.
He lay there for what felt like forever to him, in the very flower field he met you...the flowers mostly crushed by the ambush of the sorceress that was sent to kill him with this very claymore.
When he finally had the energy to move, he went back to your shared cave, claymore in hand. Seeing the entrance made his flight stutter, knowing you won't be there to welcome him home...
He landed at the opening, he stepped heavily inside.
He saw your pile of blankets, the small fire pit you built, the little trinkets you collected from his horde that he let you have...
He stabbed the claymore into his old sleeping place then made his way towards the small stream that runs through the edge of the cave. He used the water from the steam to clean the blood off of him, yours, his, that damned sorceress...
After he was cleaned and dried off with the cloth you used to use, he made his way to your pile of blankets.
Sylus collapsed into them, burying himself in your scent, a wine leaving his throat as he held tightly onto what was left of you.
The dragon is lost without his master...

OH MY GOD THE DRABBLE WITH VILLAIN HOLDING VIGILANTE HOSTAGE TO MAKE HERO WORK FOR THEM????? THAT WAS SO GOOD AHHHHHH
I humbly request a continuation, oh great one đ§ââď¸(only if you want to, ofc)
Your request is my command my friend <2
part 1
content: female whumpee, gunshot, reluctant whumper/villain, bound and gagged, manhandling, multiple whumpers, multiple whumpees, fucked up sibling dynamics, implied torture and abuse, forced to watch, hostage situation
Hero's hands shook as she clicked together the last two pieces of Villain's weapon.
She stared at it, unwilling to take her hands off the instrument, fully aware of Villain standing over the unconscious Vigilante behind her.
"Done yet?"
Hero tensed, noticing as if for the first time, the blue glow of the muzzle and the weird tingling it sent up her arms the longer she held it. She felt off-- lethargic, her vision dimming and slipping in and out of focus.
Villain had approached her from behind and now leaned on the desk, putting a gloved hand on the weapon. I knew youâd come around,â he said, his voice a velvet purr. âYou're always so predictable, Hero. Always willing to bleed for someone else.â
Hero's grip tightened, eyes narrowing. She noticed three things at once- three small details- the small spots of blood on Villain's gloves, the soft descent of a cloud of dust motes between them, and Villian's stinging smile of triumph.
"That's a suppressor?" It came out as a question, hesitant, suddenly unsure of how exactly this would end.
Before Villain could respond, Vigilante stirred. They tilted their head groggily, blinking until everything came into focus. They froze when they made eye contact with Hero. They screamed into the duct tape gag, the sound muffled but the message clear. Run!
Villain glanced back, looking from Vigilante to Hero. His demeanor shifted. He yanked the weapon out of her hands and raised it with practiced ease. "No shit, Sherlock." Gone was the evil mastermind with everything planned ahead. A flicker of genuine annoyance flashed in his eyes. He wanted to end this. Now.
Fuck.
Hero slowly stood up, hands raised. "Villain, take it easy now." Her gaze remained locked on that glowing gun, its shine reflecting in her eyes. "Let's not rush into anything--"
"Don't tell me what to do," snapped Villain. With the gun, he gestured to the floor. "Kneel. And keep your hands where I can see them"
Hero's stomach dropped. Every second felt like an eternity, her mind racing. Finally, she lowered herself to the floor, her movements deliberate and slow, hands still raised. "Villain," she tried again, her voice tight with desperation. "Let Vigilante go. Theyâve got nothing to do with this."
Please.
Villain snorted, his finger hesitating over the trigger. He looked at the hyperventilating Vigilante and shrugged. "Why? I have both of you now."
Hero lunged to her feet and Villain fired, the blast hitting her in the shoulder and knocking her backward. Pain exploded through her entire frame, but she clenched her jaw through a scream and reached forâ
A second shot rang out, slamming her to the floor. The entire building shook, sending pieces of debris raining down.
"Good boy," said a new voice from the shadows, cold and dripping with control.
Villain tensed as if snapped to attention. He faltered. "I didn't know you were coming."
Supervillain toed Vigilante. "Oh, but I like to show up when things get...interesting."
Vigilante choked into the gag, glaring up at Supervillain. They were spewing the worst of curses into that duct tape.
Supervillain didn't like the defiance, and with a sharp kick to Vigilante's mouth, silenced it. Blood bloomed across the silver tape as Vigilante curled into themself, trembling.
"That's better," said Supervillain with a thin smile, as if dealing with a minor inconvenience.
Villain ignored the display, focused on snapping cuffs over Hero's wrists and ankles. "I'll take this one back to the base."
"And Vigilante?"
"I was thinking of leaving them for the authorities to find. Give them something to do instead of handing out speeding tickets"
Supervillain shook their head with a condescending sigh. "Have I taught you nothing? If you want to hurt Hero, you're going to have to hurt Vigilante. Take them back."
"But--"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah they're family. Get over it, and act like you want to be a part of this."
Villain glanced, for one last time, at Vigilante's crumpled form. Something flickered in his eyesâguilt, maybeâbut it disappeared just as quickly. He straightened, jaw tight. "Sure thing."

On Board
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x Reader
Warnings: mostly fluff!!!
This was written on my phone donât judge me đ¤Ł
It was a hot summer day in Virginia. The group had decided to scavenge today for supplies for Alexandria. Life was better since you all had made it to Alexandria. There had been some hard times, but you all persevered and made it through.
Rick was now in charge after Deanna got bitten, succumbing to her injuries when the walkers attacked your safe haven. It took awhile to clean up the mess that was made but it was your allâs home. Life was finally feeling a little normal.
Some of your allâs group lived together. Rick, Michonne, Carl, Judith, Daryl, and you. In the other house was Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, Tara, and Sasha. Carol didnât sleep much these days, her attitude changing from meek and quiet to strong and outspoken. Of course the lovebirds Maggie and Glenn stayed together.
Daryl, Rick, and Abraham were loading a vehicle, getting ready to go on a run. Michonne was joining them. You and Rosita would take turns going. You werenât weak, but Rick had handed you Judith in the mean time to get your mind off things, trying to bring a little joy to your day.
Judith loved you. You watched her in your free time when there wasnât scavenging or other work to be done. Rick insisted that you needed to watch her because she was very fond of you. It was a good feeling that your fearless leader trusted you with one of his most prized possessions, one of the people he was closest to.
âHi Judith.â, you baby talked her, causing her to smile. âWhatcha doinâ sweet girl?â
You kissed the top of her head, holding her close. She rested her head on you, pacifier in her mouth. Michonne smiled at the sight, coming up beside you before she brushed her hand through Judithâs soft hair.
âThink you could get used to that?â
âThis?â
Michonne nodded.
âMaybe.â
Daryl eyed you as he was loading up a vehicle. Truth be told, watching you with Judith was one of his many weaknesses. Hardly anything got to Daryl Dixon but this was one of those things. It almost made him want to have a child of his own with you. But he worried he wouldnât be a good dad. His dad was shitty growing up. And his mom wasnât much better. Merle and Daryl had a very hard upbringing.
âWe just need to convince Daryl to get on board.â, Michonne smiled at Judith as you continued to hold her, shielding her from the sun.
âI donât even know if Iâm on board.â, you joked. âEven though Judith here does make it pretty convincing.â
Judith giggled lightly as you tickled her. It was beautiful to have a child around. She brought light back into your allâs lives. Even on the darkest days.
âLook Judith, itâs Uncle Daryl.â, you smirked at him as he came over to the both of you.
âAw, whatâs my pretty girl up tâ?â, Daryl eyed her. âWant Uncle Daryl to hold ya?â
Judith reached out her small arms causing you to scoff playfully. âReally Daryl?â
âSorry sweetheart. Sheâs made her choice.â
Daryl smirked. You rolled your eyes as Daryl took her out of your arms. Michonne watched for your reaction as Daryl interacted with Judith, causing her to smile and laugh. You couldnât help but do the same, watching the man you love.
Daryl was hard and cold at first, but as you got to know him, that changed. He opened up to you and showed you the soft side of him you never knew was there under his hard exterior. Things changed, you lost people, and you all became closer.
So close that you all had began a relationship. This world was cold but he made it better. He was the first thing you woke up to and the last thing you kissed goodnight. As long as he was with you, the world would be tolerable. Things would be okay.
Michonne and Rick had began a romantic relationship, much to everyoneâs surprise. Almost as surprising as when the group found out about you and Daryl. You watched Daryl bounce Judith, he was practically a natural. Rick and Michonne kissed, signaling their departure was near.
âReady Daryl?â, Rick asked as Michonne climbed into the vehicle.
Daryl looked at Rick, this question bringing him out of his daze. âYeah.â
Daryl came over to you, leaning over to kiss you with Judith still in his arms. The kiss was slow. You knew why Daryl did this but you didnât want to admit it to yourself. He was afraid he wouldnât come home. This could very well be your last kiss.
âI love ya, Y/N.â
âI love you, Daryl. Be safe, please.â
Daryl nodded. âDâ my best sweetheart.â
âWrap it up Romeo.â, Abraham joked, laughing as Daryl glared back at him.
Daryl flipped him off, causing him to laugh even louder.
âDaryl,â, you scolded him softly. âNot in front of Judith.â
Daryl sighed, apologizing to Judith before kissing her on the head. She just smiled up at him.
âAlright pretty girl, time tâ go back to Aunt Y/N.â, Daryl moved closer, handing her off to you.
You all shared one more kiss and he told you heâd be home soon. Rick came over and kissed Judith goodbye, telling her the same thing. You helped her wave goodbye to her daddy and the rest of the group as Daryl took one last look at you before getting in the car. You watched the car pull out, stopping at the gates before someone unlocked it, a trail of dust following them.
Looking at Judith, you shifted your focus to her. âJust me and you Judith. Letâs go inside and take a nap.â
Carl stayed back to help keep Alexandria safe. He was in the house, grabbing some water. He greeted you with a hug and you told him you were going to try and put Judith down for a nap. You told him youâd make dinner in a few hours.
Being a typical teenage boy, he acknowledged you silently and left the house with his gun.
Hours passed and dusk began to set in as you tried to focus on anything other than Daryl and the group. A knock came to the door, throwing you off. Judith was playing in the floor with her toys. You quickly ran to open the door, finding Carol.
âNeed some help with dinner?â
âThatâd actually be great.â
Carol came in and began helping you make a casserole. She had became quite the cook since being at Alexandria. Once it was finished, you placed Judith in her high chair and called Carl to come eat. He had taken a huge interest in Enid, a teenage girl at Alexandria. Maybe love was in the air.
Once dinner was over, Carol helped you clean up. It was easy to get Judith to sleep after her bottle. She was out like a light.
âWell, I guess Iâm going to be on my way. Need anything else Y/N?â
âIâm good Carol. Thank you.â
She waved it off, saying it was no problem. You sat in peaceful silence, feeling even better now that Carl was home. This was in stark contrast to being out on the road for so long. Tiredness was sitting in and before you had known it, you were fast asleep with Judith in your arms on the couch.
How many hours had passed? You werenât sure.
âSweetheart.â
You jumped easily, startling yourself out of your sleep and quickly opening your eyes to see Daryl standing above you.
âSâ alright, sweetheart. Just me.â
Judith barely stirred as you immediately relaxed your muscles.
âYou scared me.â
âI know. âM sorry sweetheart.â
Daryl took in the sight of you sleepy and holding a sleeping Judith before he sat down beside you.
âIs everyone okay?â, you asked softly.
Daryl nodded. âAll safeân sound.â
âThank God.â
âWant me to take Judith and put her to bed so we can lay down?â
âIf you have to.â
Daryl chuckled softly. âYouâre exhausted. Whatâd yâall do today?â
Gently, you let Daryl take Judith out of your arms. She barely moved, snuggling into Darylâs chest.
âNapped, played, and made dinner.â
âBusy day.â
âWhat about you?â
âKilled some walkers, found lots of supplies. Just another day in paradise.â Daryl smirked, joking.
You nodded before he leaned in, kissing you.
âCan I ask ya somethinâ?â
Your heart dropped into your stomach.
âSure, whatâs up?â
You were awake now, sitting up.
Daryl sighed, trying to muster up the courage to ask you. He was afraid of the answer but he needed to know. His perspective on life had changed lately. Maybe he could have a good life after all.
âI was wonderinâ â, he began, looking down at Judith before looking back up at you.
Your look begged him to continue.
âWould you ever want one of these?â, he motioned to Judith.
âAâŚ.baby?â, you question and he felt like he had fucked up.
âItâs silly, ainât it? Nevermind.â, Daryl sighed, looking away.
You grabbed his chin softly, bringing his face to look up at you. âThatâs not silly, Daryl.â
Darylâs face relaxed. You ran your thumb over his stubble.
âYes.â
âYes?â, Daryl repeated, making sure he had heard you correctly.
âYes.â, you confirmed.
âSure, yâwanna a little Dixon runninâ around?â
âIâd love nothing more.â, you whispered lightly before you and Daryl shared a kiss before Rick and Michonne walked in.
âAre we interrupting something?â, Rick laughed.
âMaybe weâre both on board.â
You knew Rick wouldnât have any idea of what that meant but all Michonne could do was smile.

Zakkura Ideas from the games:
While playing through Remake and Rebirth thereâs been a couple of scenes that Iâve thought about that have potential for sweet Zack lives Zakkura moments. So since Iâm a lazy critter whoâs currently knee deep in GenGeal week writing, have some ideas I may or may never use:
1. The first being the walk around sector seven. Tifa is showing them around, chatting animatedly with Zack whoâs willing to be Clouds voice when he blanks a question. Then the weapons shop owner yells at Cloud, and Zack just watches the internal shutters slam down behind the blondes eyes. Heâs about to snap back in Clouds defence but Cloud mutters âleave itâ and walks out.
Again, when they go up to stargazer to see marle she insults Cloud. Zack canât help the string of pure Rhapsodos grade poison that drip off of his tongue when Cloud defensivly says heâs doing his best. Zack snaps at Marle,
âand what would you know about his skills? No offence maâam but you donât know the first thing about Cloud and Iâd ask you to watch your mouth when making sweeping statements about his abilities. I ainât got no quarrel with a woman who knows her mind, but I do when that mind thinks it can belittle people on the virtue of their looks. Clouds got skill in buckets and just cause you ainât got the time or inclination to learn, that ainât his problem.â
Tifaâs speachless, Marles impressed, Clouds a little turned on by the thick Gongaga accent that snuck through in the middle there.
2. After Cloud falls into the church Zack goes looking for him. It takes hours but they finally bump into each other by the gates to sector seven. Zack is all at once relieved and mortified that Aerith saved him and hilarity ensues as Cloud mentions Aerith had some excellent stories to tell about dates gone wrong. âHow come you never built me a cart for all the flowers you apparently bought from your secret girlfriend?â
âShe wasnât secret! You and I hadnât met! Aerith and I only broke up after modeoheim!â
âAh yes âsorry Aer, Angeal really messed me up, I gotta get my head straight before I can treat you rightâ At least it wasnât over the phone,â Aerith giggles.
âNo fair no fair! It wasnât like that! Cloud and I didnât date for a year after Angeal died! Iâm serious!â
Cloud and Aerith share a mischievous look. âShould we forgive him?â
âNa, make his suffer some more, maybe heâll cry.â
Zack spends the rest of the evening at the mercy of their teasing.
3. The calm date, except itâs not Aerith and Cloud itâs Zack and Cloud. Clouds not got the issue of thinking heâs Zack in this AU so he remembers nibelhiem the way it was. Everyone in the group knows he wasnât a soldier like Zack, but Cloud keeps getting these moments where heâll forget any time has passed and ask what time their due back at the tower.
So they have a little debrief as they stare out at the town, and Cloud leans on Zack unexpectedly saying âthank you for taking care of me. I know Iâm not what you signed up for,â. Zack immediately makes him turn to face him and is all like âsweetheart, no. Okay? Weâre not doing that. We both went through hell, and just cause your brains taking a longer route to recovery doesnât mean your not who I fell in love with, got it?â
Cloud gets all flustered and knocks his hands away, turning, but then whispers âyou love me?â And Zack just grins, cause good heâd hoped Cloud picked that bit up.
4. Costa Del Sol, Zack lets Cloud wander on his own, cause heâs not as worried here. He himself goes wandering for some beams to patch the holes in their hotel rooms. When heâs done Jonny lends him some beach wear and he heads down to go cool off in the sea, only to find Cloud crouched over looking for sea glass.
âIâm putting my foot down at no more than three small pocket rocks Cloudy skies. We ainât got the space for friends.â
Cloud stands and pushes a big bit of deep blue sea glass into Zackâs hands. âHereâŚ.â Itâs all he gets before Clouds trying to escape but Zack catches him.
âYou giving me pretty rocks is literally my favourite thing ever. Youâre like a baby chocobo.â He gets kicked in the shin for that but heâll take it. âCan I start calling you piko?â He gets punched in the stomach.
5. Corel mako reactor. The second Cloud nearly goes over Barret still catches him but Zackâs dictating what to do. Heâs getting Cloud lane on his side, checking his pulse and eyes. When the others go to get the cart, Zack stays with Cloud, Aerith and Nanaki.
âIs he gonna be okay?â
âHeâs fine. As scary as it sounds this has happened before, Iâll carry him if heâs still sick.â
âWhen did it happen before?â
âAfter the lab⌠told you we were there five years.â
âYou never said what happened.â
âBit oâ this, bit oâ that.â
âBut what?â
âTorture Aerith. They tortured him.â
âYou mean âusâ?â
âWhatever⌠Cloud seemed to take the brunt of it. Never did find out why.â
6. Golden saucer. Zack comes to check on Cloud and finds him sleepy and a little vulnerable.
âYou feeling better enough to go win me a chocobo, chocobo?â
âIâm better enough to kick you off the bed for the name.â
They go round holding hands and taking it slow. Theyâre not hurrying, just having a date. They find Tifa and Aerith hiding together and give eachother knowing looks. Then just before Cait Sith appears to ruin everyoneâs day, Cloud asks if they can just sit for a bit and just be together. Itâs a sweet moment.
7. Zack head butting a guard to try and get to Cloud in Corel Prison. Cloud telling him to just trust him. Zack still having a bit of PTSD induced rage as theyâre taken.
