idk I kind of feel like starting in p17 could be good for Lando, at least in terms of The Narrative. a lot of the criticism he gets is around the theme of him not being good enough to win the WDC, that team orders would be essentially gifting him it, rather than him earning it

but if he does manage to get forward and fight with max, then it will be an indisputably good drive, and a fight against adversity will do a lot to turn the tide of public opinion in his favour

of course, that requires him to, you know, do that good drive.

#basara #yona of the dawn #akatsuki no yona #no hate #I’m in the middle of my first time reading basara and I’m really enjoying it #but I feel like the character relationships could be stronger or better fleshed out #maybe it’s a me problem or a pacing problem but the whole found family collecting misfits as you go trope isn’t making me as emotional #as it would in other stories #or for example ageha’s and shido’s history #it’s so interesting and complicated but we really only get a brief glimpse of ageha’s thoughts and then shido dies #that could have been so juicy!#don’t get me wrong the paneling with ageha’s emotions is strong but #it just didn’t hit like I know it could #but I’ve still got a lot of story to go #I’m only a third of the way through #but I guess I wish the side characters got a bit more exploration #I do have kind of high expectations of asagi’s arc with how things are being set up #so we will see #maybe I will have another asshole fave to add to the pile #sarah reads basara

Aha, indeed. I voted by mail a couple weeks ago for 2 (two) school board races and a couple of statewide ballot measures, which may seem like small potatoes but are, yknow, directly relevant to where I live, the amount of tax money I will get next year, and so forth. EVERY ELECTION, EVERY TIME.

I likewise just made a post about it, but if they are in fact calling KY for Beshear with improved margins from last time (2019), then abortion rights will probably pass in Ohio and Virginia can be kept safe from Youngkin. Or so we fucking hope. If we can get some actual hard data, maybe the idiots flooding the zone with garbage polls that show Trump pulling 22% of Black voters and Biden only ahead of Trump by one point with voters under 30 (all together now: LOLOLOLOLOL), can shut up or at least not get constant breathless media attention for a bit. Plus I am old enough to remember how the narrative in 2011 was all how Obama was going to get crushed by a generic Republican (oh Mittens, how we long for the days when we thought YOU were the worst the GOP could do). Then he won handily with 332 electoral votes. It's almost like the media has a vested interest in running a Horse Race narrative and beating down the Democratic candidate every time. Weird.

idk if anyone is following specific projects ive talked about/mentioned but. i just want to say i know this year (especially the last couple months) has been chaotic and scattered and ive kept starting things and then they just. disappear from existence. i wanna semi apologise for that & tell you that i will be trying to do a lot less of that from this point- i wont always succeed, in very whim prone ':) but. i will be trying to keep a stable focus. i think i have plans to help with that.

i hate to treat my craft as content, but i hope whatever you signed up for will be better next year. i love talking about what i do & figuring out problems with you guys, and im looking forward to more of it in the future.

Hung out with Ryker and my friend who has a BIS right now. Thought maybe we could work through some distraction of a very good smelling girl.

Yet he was more or less exactly the same as he is for any dog, don't think he noticed that she was any more enticing.

Maybe those hormones haven't fully hit yet, maybe it's the part of her heat cycle she is on.

Who knows but it was fun getting to just sit with a friend and chat while the dogs mostly just hung out.

I love Laughing at Tradgedy. It honestly is one of the better pics I have read in a while. I love it when the animatronics are given a more human side but also shown to be capable of inflicting harm. My favorite part of this is how you decided to focus on the perspective of an animatronic. Especially Lolbit, a character who has only appeared in a few games. Honestly it makes me want to write my own fanfic about Lolbit. Of course, I would have to sit down and do it if it would ever get off notepad! In any case, hope we see the next chapter soon. Also, I think it would be cool to see your take on Shadow Freddy and Bonnie alongside Funtime Chica. Those three animatronics have vastly different appearances but are also interesting in their own right.

But I wish I could add more things into the fic, with all the animatronics we have in the roster it just would be so bloated lol also have a hard time writing with a very big cast (cuz I want to make sure everyone at least has something to say)

They are interesting and I had to make sacrifices to make sure the plot stayed on the track I had planned. With this being the last chapter, I hope none of you are disappointed on me not adding certain characters/animatronics

I'm so glad to be home and done with my shift.

I had to make that "Hey, they've taken a turn for the worse. You should come to the hospital as soon as you can." call today. I've only had to do it few times and I don't like it.
