LAST NIGHT'S KRISTOPH GAVIN REVELATION

so kristoph is a very meticulous person, right? which is why we're never able to convict him through conventional means, bc hes very aware of how the court works. he knows that he cannot be incriminated without appropriate evidence, and thats why in the two trials that convicted him, we had to twist the conventions of the court to do so, as he had made sure to conceal any evidence which could decisively incriminate him. the incriminating evidence in question are the bloody ace and the letter w the poisoned stamp.

the bloody ace decisively incriminates him for the murder of shadi smith. and the letter with the poisoned stamp decisively incriminates him for the murder of drew misham. kristoph, recognizing these pieces of evidence could implicate him, took care to dispose of them so he could cover up his crimes.

but there is another crime of his thats hes been covering up, that he has also been meticulously disposing evidence of: the crime of intending to present forged evidence.

and what evidence had kristoph disposed of which couldve decisively proven this? the evidence is shadi smith and drew misham themselves.

these two are evidence because they can prove tht kristoph had the opportunity and means to present forged evidence. the opportunity that kristoph had to present forged evidence was when he was initially shadi's attorney, before he was replaced by phoenix. and because kristophs name is not kept in public record;

this means that the only person who could prove that kristoph was shadi's initial attorney is shadi himself. and so kristoph disposed of him to hide proof of his opportunity.

as to proving that kristoph had the means to present forged evidence, that he had sought out and was in possession of forged evidence to begin with, similarly couldve only been proven by the mishams. this is because vera's forgeries are near-accurate to a microscopic level, that close examination wouldnt be enough to disprove its authenticity. this then means that the only people aside from kristoph who could prove the note is a forgery would be the mishams. (which is what happened when wright presented the note; had klavier not been tipped off and had drew misham testify, everyone wouldve just believe tht the note was authentic). the mishams would also be able to prove tht kristoph was the one who commissioned the forged note, as drew misham had kept letter correspondence with him, and vera had seen his face when she received the poisoned nail polish. and this is why kristoph had disposed of drew misham, and also tried to dispose of vera.

kristoph had recognized that these people were evidence who could decisively implicate him: if they were ever asked to testify about this, then his crime of intending to present forged evidence would be exposed and decisively proven. and this is why kristoph had disposed of them, and only them. have you ever wondered why kristoph didnt try to kill trucy, who he passed the forged evidence to? or phoenix, who has been suspicious of him for 7 years? or brushel, who had been investigating everything? its because none of them could provide any testimony or evidence that could definitively incriminate kristoph, only shadi and the mishams could. so he disposed of them, and then, disposed of the evidence that could incriminate him for the crime of disposing of them. like i said, he is meticulous. he thoroughly understood the flaws of the legal system, the way it disregards circumstantial evidence and only upholds decisive evidence and testimony. this is why he didnt risk leaving behind a bigger trail by getting rid of what could only cast suspicion on him, instead, he only got rid of what could decisively incriminate him. he only got rid of what was absolutely necessary.

...and yet, despite understanding what evidence could decisively incriminate him, and taking care to get rid of them, going as far as becoming a murderer to do so... he still left one glaring piece of evidence untouched. and that evidence is his own brother, klavier.

during turnabout succession, after calling kristoph to the witness stand, apollo is asked to prove a connection between him and drew misham. to which apollo then presents the letter with the poisoned stamp. it is merely a replica, however, as the real letter is in kristoph's cell. and it is as kristoph says:

this replica cannot be used as evidence, even if there is a video recording to back it up. and so the trial wouldve ended here, as there is no way to link kristoph to drew misham's death. kristoph had covered his tracks perfectly...

except he hadnt, as he had neglected one final piece of evidence: his own brother. the only reason the trial continues is because klavier reveals that not only was kristoph shadi's original attorney, but also the person who had tipped him off abt the forgery 7 years ago.

kristoph had known that klavier could expose this, which is why he pleads with him not to do so:

kristoph had known that the letter with the poisoned stamp would incriminate him, so he stops phoenix from taking it. he knew the bloody ace would incriminate him, so he removed it from the crime scene. he knew that if shadi ever told anyone that he was his original attorney, that would incriminate him, and so kristoph silenced him forever. he knew the mishams saw his face and knew what he had commissioned, all which could incriminate him, and so he had prepared to kill a young child and her father just so they would never speak.

but he knew that klavier couldve told anyone that he had tipped him off about the forgery, that klavier was originally going to face him in court seven years ago, and yet did nothing to him whatsoever. and so the question that remains is why....

was it because he thought it was unnecessary to? that klavier couldnt incriminate him the way shadi and the mishams could? that doesnt seem right, bc the mishams could only prove that kristoph had commissioned a forged letter, but not that he intended to present it in court. and although shadi couldve testified that kristoph was his initial attorney, and also prove that the note is a forgery by presenting the transferral of gramarye rights (which is the authentic note, which has been in his possession this whole time), shadi has little to no incentive to, as he is currently on the run from the law. meanwhile, unlike shadi and the mishams, who were recluses, klavier is a well-known figure, and is capable of not only testifying that kristoph was shadi's initial attorney, but also that kristoph had known about the note, and had likely planted it onto phoenix. klavier is arguably a bigger risk to kristoph than both shadi and the mishams combined.

so if that isnt it, then maybe it was because he thought klavier would value his reputation as a prosecutor over pursuing the truth? that revealing that his victory over wright was manufactured would hurt his image? that seems unlikely, as we've been shown that klavier always strives to pursue the truth above all else, to the point that he'll even convict his own bandmate. and not just that, but its possible that klavier's trait of pursuing the truth was inspired by kristoph:

not to mention that after the trial with wright, klavier had taken a hiatus from prosecuting. he is more known as a rock star than he is as a prosecutor. so if its unlikely tht kristoph would think that klavier would value his image over the truth.. then was it because he thought tht klavier would have the utmost faith in him, that he would never suspect him of such a thing? was it because kristoph thought that klavier could never betray him? or was it because kristoph couldnt bring himself to hurt his own brother? or is there another reason entirely??

its ultimately something that will never be known, cuz the gavin brothers' backstory has been fated to never be written... but what remains as a fact is that kristoph knows how the court works, and he had withheld evidence that could incriminate him, and silenced the people who could incriminate him. he killed a man to keep him from talking, poisoned a young girl and her father to keep them from talking, but had left his brother, who ultimately laid down the path to convict him, unharmed....

edit: lol im too lazy to rewrite the last bit so i just striked out the arguments that i no longer think are valid. the reasoning for which are explained in this post tht i made a while after i finished writing this one

tldr; i think kristoph didnt hurt klavier bc he was betting on klavier to hold his silence, because klavier wasnt That deadset on pursuing the truth, and kristoph was kinda right abt this. after all, klavier didnt pursue the truth behind the forged evidence 7 years ago, despite being suspicious abt unusually well informed kristoph was, instead he just retreated from the court.

also my screenshotted post here isnt worded as well as id like; i wouldnt say that klavier didnt pursue the truth bc he valued his reputation more.. its more like, i think he valued his faith in kristoph more. but i do think he valued his and kristoph's reputations to a degree. that if he went digging around, but came up with nothing, it would just needlessly ruin both his and kristoph's reputations and their relationship w each other. so essentially, i think its more a matter of klavier valuing his faith in kristoph more than he values the truth. and by valuing his faith in kristoph, that subsequently makes him value their reputations as well, as their identities are strongly tied to their reputations.

and while i do think this is why kristoph had found it unnecessary to silence klavier, i also think he couldve had multiple reasonings as well.. id like to believe that kristoph didnt have it in him to hurt his brother. and that he was happy to hv been able to manipulate events so that his younger brother was able to humiliate and win against wright, and hurting klavier wouldve taken away from that. something like that.... ok peace out

This headcanon is kinda inspired by one of the arcs from the cnovel (A precious pearl in imperial city- aka one of the funniest novels ever with the sweetest characters especially the ml fl but with incomplete translation 😭) where *spoilers* a scheme against the crown prince ml was just basically just a smear campaign with 'good prince' and 'evil prince' and funnily enough the fl finds out and pays the storyteller to make the evil prince secretly a good person and all the women from the noble ladies to the palace maids ends up being obsessed with the bad boy stereotype (the ml's mother was so confused how her absolute brat of a son suddenly got popular among the common people lol)..........

And the point I was trying to make is imagine the same thing happening in mdzs. We already know jgs was purposefully badmouthing wwx and everyone else except a select few went along with it (I loved the part in the novel where lwj publicly calls him out for being a liar) and all the yllz rumours were pretty over the top so....

Imagine the juniors holding an intervention bc none of the sect leaders changed their ways after the second siege and just writing up an actual record of what happened........with new worldbuilding and slight changes in their names of course and jl is exempt from the process after his first few disastrous attempts,

Ljy and ozz write up the most sappy cheesy version of wangxian (bc both of them give the vibes of reading too many romance novels especially ljy in yi city arc),

All the primary antagonists die in ways more brutal than canon (and even the ones who didn't die get actual consequences of their actions) bc a certain young sect leader wants to vent up all his pent up frustrations of being related to way too many evil people and attending the most tedious discussion conferences with the rest,

There is an entire section about the wen remnants bc lsz and wn (who got roped into it) want to remember all their personal quirks and their life in burial mounds fondly and safely,

All the other juniors from many many clans pitch in by 'discreet' investigations and make a patchwork of many stories including contributions by various rogue cultivators who had left the jianghu in protest of their terrible decisions when it came to wwx and the wen remnants (there is a section about wwx being a terrible flirt thanks to one mianmian)

And sure enough even with fake names and swapped genders for minor characters to maintain plausible deniability, the jianghu's tendency to be disconnected from the common people means they don't realise that a story specifically with all their dirty little secrets exposed became the most popular story in the civilian world till it was too late.

Of course nhs was the one who ended up fanning the flames bc he found the entire thing funny especially after jl ended up asking him for any useful tips to spread rumours but if anyone asks he really 'doesn't know anything at all'

The storytellers have a fun time bc mdzs as a whole is entertaining enough to earn them a fortune, the civilians realise the main characters with the dizi and qin are a lot like yllz and hgy and.......

That's the start of their new obsession with the bad boy with a heart of gold stereotype with all of the over the top yllz rumours getting twisted to fit their new favourite story and wwx would definitely find the entire thing amusing even if his counterpart has a very different personality (and tease the juniors a lot after he finds out how the story started in the first place)

I don’t remember if I ever rlly elaborated on my potential Ninjago s12 but I’m listening to GRRRLS and it reminded me of it, so briefly here’s all the ideas I had for it (and are currently having for it because I am now coming up with stuff on the fly):

The focus on Jay would be forshadowed by the fact that Jay doesn’t get a resolution to what he does in s11. He seemingly feels bad about ignoring Zane’s dream and in general feels more of a disconnect to the group. This is subtle and he tries not to let it bother him. This is highlighted more at the start of the season, as they are investigating the mechanics hideout.

We would see that Jay gets transported as player 2. He arrives at the very core of prime empire, the tower, which also serves as menu screen. He’s greeted by Unagami, who offers to play games with him, an offer he takes due to being excited

I think on the ninja’s end it would mostly be the same. BUT Whilst Zane and Pixal can’t enter the game due to risk of their data getting scrambled (how that works I’ve decided is that, Prime Empire works by translating bio matter to digital but it can only do bio matter bc it knows how it works, and it doesn’t know how nindroids are made and therefore can’t translate them without risk of error), zane and pixal can set up some sort of communication system that allows them to contact the ninja. Essentially zane and pixal are video calling the ninja from their minds and over the course of the season they chip in with gaming tips (canonically zane and pixal are both gamers so)

The ninja end up meeting superstar rockin Jay, and it goes on as normal, although Okino is a little weirded out by him

In the just dance episode, Nya finds out on the dance floor that Jay is the sussus amogus imposter. Shock horror on the dance floor

It turns out that superstar rockin Jay was just an artificial construct being controlled by the real Jay who is still in the tower with Unagami. But recently Jay and Unagami had a real fight and that’s lead to Unagami taking control of superstar rockin Jay in an attempts to stop his friends’ progress

Not entirely sure how the superstar rockin Jay thing ends tho, all Ik is that I want Nya to have an “oh my god what happened to my boyfriend”/“wait a minute Jay would never say that”

There would be an episode detailing Jay’s pov, showing how he and Unagami became friends and started playing the games together after feeling similarly lonely, exploring Jay’s tendency to ignore his problems and how it’s resulting in him growing distant, before Jay realises he doesn’t want to give up on himself and he’s gonna try to reunite with his friends (probably after seeing how hard the ninja are trying to find him). Then Unagami reacts badly to the idea of being abandoned by Jay and they fight, ending with Jay falling through the walls and into the core of prime empire, in like this weird void of pure code.

I kinda also wanted to idk make more lava moments but that’s just me

I never really worked out what I wanted Libber (Jay’s mum) to do in this but she’s gonna be relevant

Like something something she’s been here, there’s an echo of her buried in the code. Maybe the game was based on her travels somehow. I kinda wanted Jay to be guided out of the code void by some sort of depiction of her

I kinda want Milton Dyer and Scott to have both somehow known Libber

Maybe libber really did abandon Jay. Maybe like Jay she also had issues that made her feel like she had to distance herself. Maybe there was a genuine reason and she was taken from him. Maybe the point of the season is that it’s hard to tell what happened in the past but that doesn’t stop you from carrying on in the future

Idk I just need there to be a more conscious parallel between jay and Unagami and themes of abandonment

There’s also some kind of theme of giving up not giving up seen with Scott, Okino and Blazey (racer 7), where they’re all encouraged to keep trying. I gotta do sometime with that idk…

Also the mechanic deserves to be cooler. Like can we make him more badass I want his villain resume to look so good that he actually qualifies as a Crystal council member

That’s all I had/have got for now but yeah! I do like most of the season I just think it has a lot more potential yknow

Forgive me if I forget anything egregious-!! There's so many AUs, I'll do my best to browse through them, but AidaIro are industrious... I might miss something. u.u

You will be getting my opinion on all 3 of them per AU though. It's fun to consider the OT3... :3 Subsequently, I think I'll be skipping anything where we don't see all 3 (like ah, that standalone idol Hanako from earlier on.) Just to streamline things. Here we gooo!

🔍Phantom Thief 💎

I'm including this one out of fairness sake... but I will be real. I do not really think much about it, nor really care about any of their designs here. Unfortunately, idc about, detectives, criminal investigation, that sort of intrigue. Whether it's serious or funnay-sillay, I can't say it's very interesting to me. The most aesthetically pleasing one here is just Hanako, with hims fancy crane fabric and mask etc... (Kind of cheating though, bc he's just in his gakuran otherwise.) I know Aida-sensei really had fun drawing this guy whorishly covered in jewels. Tsukasa being a little boy-lad, funny. Nene-chan in some sherlock cosplay dress, bad. My eyes glaze over.

It's amusing to see their roles be stripped down to like, Nene INVESTIGATING Hanako's CRIMES, and Tsukasa being an INFORMANT, giving her TIPS because he knows Hanako's IDENTITY. That's what's happening in the manga, yes. It's so crude, in this way, I have to laugh.

🦇Ghost Hotel🩸

For this AU, I really love going over the interview of the people coordinating it, because you get to hear reports of AidaIro-sensei being very enthused about the theming of the cafe. They decided the theme, menu item names, and explained aspects of the world to the staff. It's very cute to me lol, it feels like they were having so much fun. The first cafe they did was more 'typical', with the characters as waiters/waitresses serving you. I think GH is a clever concept, finding a way to transport you into a whole other world, and also still justify that you are 'going' to an 'establishment', and going to be eating there lol. You still get the delight of experiencing the characters be 'staff', even — just in a more creative and stimulating way. An evil hotel manager is a lot more fun than just being your waiter-!!! Etc.

Seeing Amane as an evil vampire, it's almost like seeing a frog on a lilypad. Suddenly it's like we're putting a pin on the whooole look, the Halloween cat vibe, black and gold eye'd scraggly shota. B'caped, villainous, but so cavalier. The villain of a point and click adventure game. His ah, many rows of buttons are a lil silly, but overall I like his 'fit. It's like Amane was always meant to be this... Running some sort of honeypot to ensnare innocent, poor wanderers, and seeming to do it simply for the love of the game. Glib, while watching you lose your memories and become brainwashed.

This Amane is INCREDIBLY FUNNY and an INCREDIBLY DIRECT representation.. In a way that just makes me feel like I'm gonna barf. Like every layer of it lol, the, I'm never going to let you leave❤ Mmhh I love to consume beautiful women (so what does it say I sucked my brother dry?) Anyways I will take your life tonight. Ehh, the fact that he doesn't seem guilty or troubled at all by what he did.. Well, it's maybe been so-? Many years-?? And he's become so established, he's just at a point of-?? A-acceptance? Enjoyment? With what he did... does-??? He's decorating Tsukasa's grave playfully, I dunno...

Also the, fact that Amane is a vampire, means you have to, basically conclude that killing Tsukasa was... pleasurous... in the way that eating a delicious meal would be... It's a biological urge. And also killing Nene, again, will be, pleasurous. Hm... What does this mean for their situations in canon... Aha hahahahaha hahaha

So yeah overall I like this guy a lot. I think I would have a lot of fun RP'ing this one.

As for Nene here, I'm not really big on her starting look... It's liiike, not doing it for me, a bit too. Fancee lady. Victorian flavor etc. which just isn't my bag... She doesn't look awful or anything; I like her lil parasol. That being said...

... this nightgown is wonderful. I love her hair adornments too. A sleepy little lady, bride material. Thank you Amane for, assaulting her like this, I agree with your decision. I've envisioned her becoming a ghostie just like Tsukasa, as a result...

She's at her sweetest here, too, just innocently letting Amane in without thinking too hard about it. I like that she thinks over her day, and smiles, noting that she had fun, despite the strangeness. (Despite the scariness...) It's very Nene-chan of her. I think she'll take to her fate graciously, as she is always destined to... I see a lot of potential in her. ❤

Now, the original victim, in HIS frilly nightgown, ready for beddy-bye. Isn't he sweet... He's actually my favorite out of this AU, out of the three. Far too precious, it really hurts me. I like to think that, in the past, when Amane was a newly-formed vampire, he was a lot more self-hating and afraid to feed, prone to starving himself. (Closer to emotional profile of the more troubled Amane in canon.) Despite this, Tsukasa was always gracious and encouraging, permissive. In true Tsukasa fashion, he was so encouraging and loving that Amane one day couldn't stop. That was that. His ah, nubby right hand is also a remnant of that interaction (as much as the pillows and blanket...) Bit clean off.

So much time has passed and they've been bound to one another like this. Tsukasa is found lingering outside of room 87 / Nene runs into him instead when trying to seek the Manager / Amane's key is definitely to room 87, just blurred... They must share a space and interact. I feel like after 'work', once everything's quieted down, Amane must simply retire to his special ghostie boy at the end of the day. And does god knows what.

It's quite scary that not everyone can see Tsukasa... yabai. I always feel like Tsukasa's existence gets buried and obfuscated by Amane's actions... Isolated, locked away. *frantically gestures at the Antares speech also* Much to be concerned about. It's eerie, then, that Nene is one of the few that can see him. And ah, of course, again Tsukasa is simply willing to aid and guide Nene through this. I like when he's this counter-force... A rogue agent, someone who'll answer questions if you just asked. He'll help you.

My overall feeling for the AU is, I like how ship is here! It's fun! Whereas Phantom Thief feels crude with how 1:1 it is, I think GH is more like, a gd riot, while still managing to be sexy too. I'm simple, I like vampirism, I like the direct correlation of Amane predating on Tsukasa and Nene. Makes me feel endless concern whenever I look over the details. Much in store for the canon.

🎭Hanako of the Opera🌹

IDK what it is about me, but I can admit, I struggle to parse this event. It's not easy for me to follow everything that happens... Perhaps just the nature of it being one of those 'game' type events, with randomized elements, and also it being a story with present 'roles' being inserted. It's limited in ways, ,,

Okay but, as always, it's funny what is conveyed in a couple details. Amane is looking so crazy during scenes, maniac. Tsukasa ?? kitty cat?? Lurking about??? Enigmatic. The twins matching rings (which, in the original story, are given to Christine to represent her loyalty to the phantom) — OK. Matching jewelry symbolizing twins devotion to one another, check ✅ And all three of them have roses? Wonderful, something threading Tsukasa and Nene-chan, as Amane gives both his girlies roses. Overlapping romance check✅ (This ship is always too much lol...)

Rating the looks: Nene is lovely 💕 Shining star of the opera. The boys are more *noncommital hand gesture* but I like the fanfare of the cape, and I do. *sigh* I do think the half mask is cool, I've always thought it was cool. Fsr I vibe 'split' face situations (even specifically having sonas with large white face markings...) so yeah I'm into it. I wonder if? They are-? Both disfigured under there-?? Mysteries.

I distinctly like the shawl Nene is wearing here. Kiss kiss. (... I also just really love this image lol, this is so funny of AidaIro-sensei... to explain the delays within the narrative like this...) wait why am I just realizing in this image Amane has like. A laced up boot up to his calf. That's not what the twins are wearing in their character profiles ? Wait why does it look like he's only wearing 1? What? hm okay. Anyways I love this image

🐉Kamome Monster Nursery🍭

This is one of those really wild AUs... Though I feel like it's iconic, perhaps just as an example of how Iro-sensei can invent unpredictable worlds. Overall I really like their Halloween AUs; both Aida and Iro love Halloween, and since JSHK overall is so ~spookeh ghosts~ it kisses well with Halloween mischief.

The twins. Let's evaluate them both at once!!

This is one of those Amane's that's more on the 'subdued' side, along with being more academically inclined. To me, it feels like there are a couple 'sliders' that move around in relation to one another. If Amane is more studious, he's lessss... ostentatious, with his look and personality. He's too busy looking at clipboards and taking notes. In this way I think he's a loser with no game (lol) but at least he has Tsukasa with him to keep him on his toes. Tsukasa meanwhile seems to be having lots of fun here! I like that he's the more capable one, I feel like that's a consistent truth, deep down... That Tsukasa is actually smarter and more talented, overall. He's just so 'odd' that people don't notice... ww

I like the thickness of Amane's turtleneck, and I like that Tsukasa's in shorts and has such thick purple socks. So fun!! I also like how 'blue' the shades of purple on his outfit are, I really love the dark purp and black stripes on his top. His stripes make him match Amane's turtleneck's ribbing. Harmonious. Tsukasa's stethoscope feels horny to me though, in a way that makes me, mad-? (I don't trust AidaIro and their thing with hearts.) Aside from that, lab coats are whatever, not my thing. They're not super fun to draw but I can forgive it. (I have drawn these goons.)

They're kind of enigmatic to me, in that I wonder how they wound up here, doing this specifically...? But the world is so odd lol, I think it's odd how the class of 'monster' feels like they-? Don't... have rights-?? They're raised and studied, not treated like people-?? As a result, I feel like the twins kinda have broken lizard brains in this world, regarding monsters as specimens purely, and not forming deep attachments... They are engrossed in their research. Tsukasa is playful as a person, and good with raising monsters, but doesn't bat an eye as they get shoveled along through the system. This place perhaps outright facilitates that kind of detachment, so they're a perpetual motion machine doing this. So ultimately they only care about one another...

Small detail, but the drawing looks like Tsukasa's art to me! Aida-sensei bothers to be consistent with characters having a 'style', so ah, I think the point is it 'looks' like a little kid made it, but it's actually a gift from Tsukasa.. We don't see them interact much, but I like to think they must collude throughout the day, and then after the workday is over they retire together. They have matching seals too which means-? Some-? Thing-? Critical about their connection to one another...?? So they have to be entangled...

This AU is like. Lol where are we-? This boarding school and the overall aesthetic is giving a kind of Western-slay. Ahh I've been transported back to Angelland lol. There's a photo on AidaIro's twi tter featuring a Harry Potter mug (the Marauder's Map lolll) so ah, this combined with some of their other work gives me the impression they like... That sort of Vibe, ~wizarding school in London~... regardless of whether or not that's the actual setting, I just think it's worth noting. The particular stink going on.

This Amane... he makes me laugh. Who is this-? Little nerd? An even more subdued, sciency-aligned Amane than the guy in Monster Nursery.

He's so stripped down feeling, and his palette has mysteriously become black/blue/gold, instead of black/red/gold. Why's that... The way no one could have guessed he was that little blue apple. Like— obviously people would sooner guess the ghost cookie or devil cake, etc. Even the fanciful king, thing, Teru was, because like. You would think Amane is devilish or has some sort of imposing presence... so it's the funniest reveal he's like, a quiet nerd who tinkers with RC cars and drones... I would even say fandom at large is more apt to see canon living-Amane as more shy than I personally would, but this still came as a shock for many. This little meep. (Octavius rex i guess, since Nene is barking up this tree.)

It's pretty novel though... to be able to think of an Amane that is this hobbled with social interactions. I like to imagine he struggles with making eye contact. A guy of few words... not practiced with having conversations. If you read his mind, he would be slowly disassembling and reassembling devices. *staring at nothing, waiting for class to end so he can go back to his dorm and do this*

But as much as he amuses me, he also frustrates me... How to word this. I find it suspicious that this Amane can command Tsukasa to manifest to him, without even a word, just sending a drone at him — and Tsukasa would drop everything to do so. Okay, so you have this very powerful wizard at your beck and call... and Tsukasa is typically quite obsessed with Amane, so. Hmm. Just simmer on that. And then you have fact that Nene is, putting herself out there, being CUTE about it, and he's like. Mnnn. Please don't. You'll draw attention to me... thinking moreso about the social discomfort, not like, Nene's gesture.

... to ME, he feels kind of, 'stuck in his comfort zone'...? I'd say it's pretty generous to see him as 'just shy'; if I think about Amane across worlds, I'd guess this one is probably just as asocial and disconnected from valuing people as individuals... He's always had Tsukasa, there, reliably, and has never had a reason to do anything besides funnel into his interests. Eh, it's kinda like if Amane could just blithely read about constellations AND just have Tsukasa by his side, super OP, catering to his whims. And then if later down the line, Nene was pursuing him on her own terms, so he didn't have to lift a finger or put the moves on her... This is all insane to me... kslkfksdg.... I suppose this Amane feels like a LESSON in, how COMPLACENT he can BE... It is possible for him to be this withdrawn, this uhh, stubborn, this placid. Not oozing anyyyy charisma, it's crazy, lmfaofdj hgdks I really think if you dated this one, he'd absolutely suck. Negative one thousand points, bad boyfriend material.

(As an Amane kinnie it's like, watching myself be kind of insufferable like a spoiled child LOLL where is your GAME man... lol but you're still gonna get it i guess...)

It's easy to imagine that Nene wouldn't be above using magic to gain favor in the pursuit of love... If Nene would swallow a mermaid's scale out of desperation for a relationship... I think being a witch capable of spells would provide unfathomable temptations for her. Along with Amane being a challenge to court, I ah, feel like the situation is rife for Nene to create, schemes, plans, to bag him. With the confidence that she could definitely succeed... and that he would be none the wiser, about it. There could even be an angle of, feeling like she's doing him a favor by being forward, he's just so shy, I bet he's never had a girl like him before ❤ I'll take care of it all!!

Which is funny, because I think this is exactly the way Hanako thinks of his 'flirting' (sekuhara) in canon. This AU flips things around, but in a way that I enjoy. ^^ I like that Iro-sensei is capable of scrambling the main cast around, but still keeping things so interesting! Allowing me to witness the girlish version of simping and the wear down method lol...

Now... Wizard Tsukasa-!!! The catalyst of the event!! The capable, full-fledged magic user... He's enchanting💜 In his nice white sweater, and untucked undershirt... Would love to see him put on that hat. Sigh

I love seeing a Tsukasa so capable. I like to think he's a prodigy, and no one on campus who uses magic could hold a candle to him. The great and powerful TsuTsu!! Bare with me for this flight of fancy, but in settings where the twins are in a 'normal' setting (going to school and all), I still like to factor in Amane's heart condition. I like to believe he was still born with it, though technology is advanced enough that he was able to be saved through surgeries at a young age. That being said, it leaves him with a weak constitution, still being the sickly twin. I like to think that Tsukasa's nature of fetching Amane gifts to his bedside persists, and he's by Amane's side constantly, helping with little things. For magic to exist in this world... I feel like, of course, Tsukasa would pursue it to be able to service Amane even better. It's in his nature... when granted power, access to grant wishes, he simply wants to use it for Amane. So, the reason he gets so good at it all is for Amane 💜 It's what sets him apart from others.

... haha, okay, personal delusions aside, I think Tsukasa exudes a sort of... pleasant serenity here. I like the music notes in his text, like he's humming or speaking melodically. Fun, playful boy... Someone who speaks with hearts❤ Similarly to Nene, I think being able to wield magic gives him a bit of a confidence 'boost', so he's less self-conscious than some younger versions of him (that feel clumsy or like a burden...) Comfortable with his position in life currently. He's by Amane's side, after all! Hum humm, might as well have fun then, ne? There's no harm in it~

Argh, you know, it's an AU where things are atypical/shuffled around, so I think Tsukasa looming over Nene and taunting her is closer to something 'unusual' and unexpected (he's not purposefully ominous in canon ww) ... but like, it's sexy to see here, heurr. I feel a little messed with, when I have to consider TsuNene like this... It's as if I'm being baited lol. But I LIKE IT so oh well. As much as I think about Nene getting up to shennanigans behind Amane's back, I like to think of her having to deal with Tsukasa, who can observe and thwart her with ease. He doesn't do it mean spiritedly or anything, but I feel like sometimes he is watching her like...~ It would be fun to meddle. Just a tiny bit... <3 Able to give Nene a run for her money. The fact that Tsukasa is able to intercept Aoi and Nene's combined efforts to stop him, and, that Amane then interrupts — and Tsukasa just goes ohp, ok, Amane needs me! Bye! & drops everything... feels like it says so much about the ah, flow of 'power' here. Despite Amane being The Mundane and despite Tsukasa being OP magic user... Tsukasa still defers to Amane-!! Ugh it creates this visual in my mind, where Nene's POV is one where Tsukasa might as well be Amane's big pet tiger curled around him. Lounging, languid, but... intimidating...

I like this AU overall lol. It just makes me horny very effectively. At least I feel like I'm not alone, because fujoshi are distinctly distressed about this AU and the implications of. Amane like, sending a drone to get Tsukasa, with the? Head of the? Rabbit costume he is horny about now? It literally feels like he's just ordering Tsukasa to come help him out with this, problem. Like why are they about to have weird sex through this conduit. Yamete kudasai...

Nyways final note is, I think Amane can eventually tempted by poon, between the forces of Tsukasa and Nene both, and then he will start to metamorphasize into a nastier guy, thinking about suck fuck fuck fuck suck suck & fuck. Which is good for him. He will be healed.

This AU came out of nowhere and really sucker-punched us for Valentine's day... One swift sock to the gut. I barely survived February because of this all. My god. Where to even start.

At first glance from the twitter icon, you don't get much of an impression of this Amane. I was mostly surprised to see that he had angel wings, as so far, it's usually been the inverse (other illusts having Amane be a devil while Tsu is holy aligned...) However, once the event started rolling out proper, I felt my gut sink as we got a better look at this guy. Promising that he can polish your love and make it shine... That lidded gaze, the look of an Amane that is trying to WORK YOU OVER... I could not BEGIN to trust this creep, ueeuahhh!! Makes my skin crawl. He actually is a devil. (Avvy's proposed he might actually be identical Tsukasa, and it's just an illusion he has going on... good possibilities.)

Alright but what's this looooook??? The metal... collar? The corset-!? The boots, the one glove... All this fetish gear, why are you looking like this! Running this shop with your brother! Ackkk! Oh and of course, to top it all off, you and Tsukasa both have matching jewelry, as some, expression of your commitment to one another… While you endlessly make bets and squabble for fun, in this warehouse full of jewels... It's really yabai that they have some sort of, hearts in cages, while their power itself is the ability to make love into jewelry. Their hearts look different from what's present in the cages, so I feel like whatever extraction process was done was different...

It's extrapolating a lot, but eh while I'm here, I might as well say — I like to think of the twins as having once been human. Some... dirty raggamuffin orphan boys... And one day, they effectively tapped into a kind of magic, some sort of dark ritual, etc. that effectively cursed them into their current forms... It was an act of commitment, equivalent to canon's shinjuu, and they've been bound eternally since. The end product is they've really become cursed beings who cannot, think or love properly. Avvy's described them as having a sort of emptiness to them, and I agree. It feels like they're locked in their obsession... Ermm, and much like how, it feels like the canon circumstance is one where, the twins can't help but want to reenact the shinjuu — Amane just wants to kill Tsukasa / Tsukasa just wants to be killed by Amane — again and again... I feel like once the twins get on a tear, they're kind of endlessly looping their desires, and they almost can't conceive of anything beyond what they are doing. Just slamming the button that says MORE. Do it AGAIN.

Obsessed with turning love into jewelry endlessly... obsessed with playing with each other... so it goes... sigh

(also I hate that he's likely evoking Eros... Ughh, god of sex and love, urghhhh... I'm gonna hurl... *has had a sona named Eros since I was 14* Whatever.)

I trust Tsukasa's proposal more... well, I at least feel as though he's being more honest. Assuming that Tsukasa had a different path laid out for Nene, I would trust it more than what Amane did.

I kinda waffle back and forth on it though, because Avvy's brought up a good point, that perhaps both the twins functionally do the exact same thing — part of their game might just be about whose proposal wins? In that case, ugh, twins-!! I guess you shouldn't trust either of them lol. That might just be the reality of this world. =.=

Yk. Despite the twins having such an intertwined existence, and surely doing this sort of thing all the time... I like how Tsukasa, at the end of this all, is staring quietly with small mouth big eyes, as he feeds Amane. That's the sort of expression I often read as Tsukasa being... overwhelmed, or kind of subdued, his mouth practically disappears. It's like he's really focusing on Amane's mouth eating the chocolate. I must see. His hind brain is tingling, due to what Amane is...? Insinuating? With his comment? But it's Tsukasa, so I think he also can't fully grasp what is being said. I'll do something for you later? Okay, Amane. ⬅ It's aspects like this that really mess me up though. Because a world like this is like, urgh, ugh, ok, the twins are? Definitely fucking? Or inbound, about to fuck, maybe fucking all day, or like, on the precipice. Perfect 50/50 split, what is the reality. Fucking today for the first time on Valentine's day? Suck your fingers while you feed me c hocolate. Ahh... *you lose me in the mist*

Our most recent cafe event to date, and honestly, what feels like the most luxurious one. It feels embarrassing to say (since it just came out) but this is my favorite AU of them all, currently-!!! It's far too decadent in every way... Just look at this map!! Eh, ahh! I wanna go here so badly! Ehhh! Everything feels luscious and beautiful...! It's crazy Aida-sensei made this... This feels so involved and over the top... Meanwhile, I'm enraptured by Iro-sensei's description of things, like how it feels to approach this place.

"The air outside is cool and fresh. A deep fog enshrouds this place… The only light you can see is coming from the Ryokan." (Translation by DBS Scans!)

I'm just like UGH, atmosphere!! Makes me want to immerse into this world so badly! Traveling up the mountain side, as the fog encloses around me... A light in the distance, my only hope... Again, I really admire the integration of ah, an entire narrative alongside the theme of, cafe, food establishment, being served by the characters, etc... Transported to another world while you come here to eat. And again there is an element of danger to your visit here. A place you won't likely be returning from... Will you get eaten, or will you get turned into a bakeneko yourself-!? Such a fun set up omg

Hmm, another Amane that looks like a too-pleased maniac... why am I not surprised. :I It's so devious he is a nekomata amidst bakeneko... it's like ah, Amane is decidedly the more evil and dangerous version of this yokai — almost to make sure there's no misconstruing that you shouldn't trust him ww. I think it also conveys that he is perhaps more powerful than we can observe, hiding a slew of abilities... maybe even a more extravagant beast form, larger than his typical kitty cat body. No way to know... (typical for Amane though... he won't let us know...)

But much like his vampire self, being a naughty kitty really suits him. If there was anyone destined to be a shitty tom cat, it's just, Amane... He's just got that sort of nature, don't he. Patrolling his territory, pissing on your things. Rubbing his scent glands on you. Because you are his. Enjoying that silvervine... Meanwhile, the texture of his hair and ears make me feel like he must be a very scruffy feeling black kitty, if you saw him up close. Hmm, it's just a very compatible charisma... the Halloween cat swag once more.

Always fun when Amane is in yukata. :3 Get all silked out... and I like his black tabi socks, they are cool. They further obfuscate slivers of skin, making him feel very clothed, toe to tip. The cut in his high collar, so that his bell comes out, is very crazy looking. I'm into it. Also like the extra gold band and bell on the tail, and the teal ribbon with it... The red and white rope on his zori, and for the keys slipped in his yukata, are the same as Tsukasa's shimenawa obi he is wearing. A little something connecting them here. I have to assume the keys he's keeping are to Tsukasa's room directly. Ugh, lock you up. I get it I get it... *exhausted, threadbare*

As for this Amane's nature, it's kinda fascinating... because, I feel like having been Tsukasa's pet kitty means, he kind of, couldn't have the same sort of problems he typically does when they are human brothers... It's just? Hard to imagine that he struggles in quite the same way. Wasn't he living a simple life once, getting chin scratches... He would surely just purr and rub up against Tsukasa... and then, why would that change, after their escape from the circus? Just so easy to imagine the twins are very, pet pet rub rub, nuzzle purrrrr purr mrr... The way their life has gone, there's also no pressure of 'the future', in the sense of some impending career or pressure from parents. They are freed from such things. Maybe he still wouldn't be the best at uhh, verbally comforting you lol, but I think he would be openly affectionate. Oozing out, condescending sounding, but very much enamored. Kitty lurvvve...

Another thing: I've seen JP fans theorize that Amane chose to emulate his human form after Tsukasa's, which I totally love the thought of. He's so distressed in that shot of them running away... I like to think he was less capable with magicks once, so it took a lot to finally congeal his human form — so it comes to him in the moment of adrenaline, saving Tsukasa from the fire. But it's cute to choose to match... I want to think that's how it went. :3

Mmm oooh I was soooooo looking forward to seeing more of this Nene, after the few glimpses of her from promotional art (and the original shikishi...) She seemed so, gormless, empty shiny gaze. Yet lovely and pleasant, happy kitty. I'm so happy the more we've seen of her. Her yukata is gorgeousss.... Love the petal-y frills at the end, the pink inner fabric, the long embellished sleeves and tassles! Light blue/green, pink, red! Yes yes yes!! Colors that totally suit her! Mmm she would be so nice to touch... I prefer how her hair is done up here btw, no braid, just tied up! I disprefer the tightness of a braid. A small bun like this is nicer to think about playing with, pulling loose. *Amane voice* I ah, also like that she has little bells in her hair, and they feel like they thread her design with the twins' ostentatious big bells... It's a nice touch. A little something.

She really lives up to her name... She really is Pretty-chan! Ackkh.... by the way, I'm still dying every day over the name PRETTY-CHAN!!! It's that thing, that rule almost, where Nene is considered beautiful when she is nonhuman... Becoming this fanciful, large breed of cat, long fluffy fur, and her seafoam green tipped tail!! It makes so much sense she was once a beloved house pet.

Though, true to form, a platonic guardian cannot mean much to the romance-focused Nene... Off into the mountains she goes! Searching for guys to fawn over her... Only to! Wind up with this shitty, scruffy mans harassing her! Such is her destiny...

I like that she does dances :) fun, I would love to watch. Shake that tail around for me, girl... Ahh. She's so fun. I guess I understand actually why Amane can't resist sekuhara... With such a nice girlie walking around, it really makes you want to nip her heels and chase her around lol

With the release of this story card, I've been kind of arrested though... Learning that even Pretty-chan is like, slobbering over the idea of eating a human... A-ah, okay, and Amane is stoking her? Playing along? Even though he's harboring his human brother-!? Whyyy... 😭 I do n't understand... What do you mean there's a world where Nene could desire to eat Tsukasa-!?!??Fg h gg./h. fhg... why is she also i nsan e... help... I still feel like I'm falling out of my body. I 've literally always wanted to explore Nene being 'crazy' but now that I have the chance it's like sits on my hands . This is too much. The potential here... I shudder violently thinking about it. I'm in a dream I can't escape...

Considering where his life started — as some unwanted child performing labor for a circus... This is probably more than he could've ever dreamed of. Life is good and life is fun!

I have to assume the details of his disguise were by Amane. I feel like if it were up to Tsukasa, he'd just match identically with Amane... it's probably Amane who is like 'no, you're not a nekomata... and actually, you could never even become one, ever, you'd be some kinked tail little thing'. Fetishistic perception of Tsukasa. The fact that Tsukasa could complain about his ears and tail is like, so funny to me, it makes it feel like it really is mostly for Amane's sake... He's the one trying to keep you his tasty little secret, shhh. I have to assume it's also Amane who wanted the reciprocation of giving Tsukasa a collar, since he's earing the one from when he was Tsukasa's pet in the past. Splendid... incredible... marvelous... This image blessed my crops, as they say. In one fell swoop, it introduced me so many things. Simply, a world where the twins are alive, and together, and we're watching them about to skate together? (It's usually more ambiguous, where they overlap...) B-bandaged boy-!? Bandaged Amane-?!? Even just aesthetically, that's crazy, he's such a specific boy that is featured in highly specific contexts... but wait, so is living Tsukasa! He's really a rare sight! Double rarity! And then Tsukasa is, looking, amazing, with skates on his hands, I want to see him SKATE LIKE THIS!! I think he could do it.

And then, you just have Amane dazzled by this increble Nene... The super capable Nene, look at her! Amazing!! Show stopping! I'd love for her to be super good at skating, distinctly... Ah, again, a Nene confident enough to show her bare legs ;; I love when this is the case... Rare girlies... Ugh and I'm like, actually very attracted to figure skating and the kind of attire that goes with it, so I feel very very very very serviced. We really just barrelled into this AU and RP'd it excessively the month we got this illust... good times✨

Much delight had here. To reiterate, I'm a simple idol otaku. I mostly like female idols but I'm into the general concept enough to be allured by the twins as a duo. They look amazing ww, it feels like Amane stans Tsukasa so hard here...

In the past, I was mostly keyed in on Tsukasa being mic'd up, but I realize Amane is as well, and they must be singing together. Duets... that's almost too much for me. I like to think the twins have 'the same voice' in reality, like how they work in the anime, just for ah. Some sort of eerie, unusual element to them. I wonder how much that would make their singing fascinating to hear... Would they blend seamlessly? The same voice, twice, harmonizing, echoing... IMO the twins are very talented and good at dancing/singing, but they can't win #1 because they are too creepy and incest vibes. It's like hmm it almost feels too scandalous, trashy. If only you two would gyrate less... but the women in the crowd ARE screaming.

Meanwhile: Nene back there makes me wanna cry, little cupcake. Littel cake topper wife. Help-!! !!! I want to talk to her backstage and invite her into our room lol, like come to our studio. Let me watch you sing and harmonize with Tsukasa... Really, I'd love to abduct her for a 3way routine, let's all have matching black and purple 'fits. And then I'll fuck you after the show just like I do my brother. Yaaaaaaa the crowd is going wild back there... Mmmm doesn't it just feel so good.

Finally got to your request babe! I know we discussed a few different ways this could go. Hopefully you like what I settled on <3

Byleth had only been gone three days. The world was an unpredictable place, he knew, but things had calmed down since the war. Three days didn't seem like enough time for Something To Happen at Garreg Mach.

Now, Byleth stood on the dock of the stock pond, staring down at his husband, who was half in the water with his elbows folded on the dock, staring up at Byleth.

"You turned yourself into a mermaid," Byelth summerized.

Hanneman huffed. "Really, there is far more to it than that. As I just told you, I wanted to find a way to utilize the Crest stones' habit of changing people into beasts. I thought, if I could just find a way to control this ability, we could make use of it to protect the people. Imagine being able to transform into a beast at will without losing yourself to the power!"

"So you transformed yourself into a mermaid," Byleth repeated. It felt worth repeating.

Hanneman's upper body looked much the same as before Byleth had left, though it was rare to see it bare outside their bedroom. Hanneman's lower body, on the other hand, had changed drastically. He now sported a russet brown fish tail instead of legs, with tail fins the same green as his usual cravat.

The gills on Hanneman's hips flared as he huffed again. "That was the end result this time but it was far from my intention." He gestured at the pair of vials on the dock beside them and began explaining how he had created a substance from a crushed up Crest stone to test his hypothesis.

As he outlined the process, Byleth sat on the dock, looking more than listening. Fish in the pond periodically came up to investigate Hanneman's tail only to swim away when it flipped or twitched. Byleth wondered how much control Hanneman had over his tail. Did it feel cool and slick like a fish's scales? Or warm and firm like Hanneman's human legs?

Hanneman's voice sped up as he got to the meat of his research, as it always did, and his tail swirled underwater excitedly. Byleth smiled.

"And that was when I portioned out how much equalled a single dose and discovered-- What is it?" Hanneman cocked his head at Byleth's smile.

"You're adorable," Byleth said simply.

Hanneman made a series of stuttered noises. "I most certainly am not!" He finally cried. He punctuated this with a fist against the dock, which didn't really help his case.

Byleth picked up a vial. "Listen, we don’t have to fight, we can both be adorable."

"What? No!"

"Yes."

"Dearest, I cannot allow that. I am still testing the substance. I do not even know when my dose will wear off-- Byleth!"

For Byleth had uncorked the vial, tipped his head back, and downed the whole thing.

And promptly blacked out.

When he opened his eyes, he was at the bottom of the stock pond. Or rather, he assumed that was where he was-- he was certainly under water and the dock far above him certainly looked like the stock pond dock. Confirmation came in the form of his dear husband hovering over him with crossed arms.

"Never do that again," Hanneman stated. His tone was furious and worried all at once.

Byleth pushed himself off the sandy ground and swam a lap around Hanneman. The tail-- a dark teal like his original hair color-- was surprisingly easy to adjust to. "How do I look?" He asked, holding his arms out for Hanneman to assess.

Hanneman continued to glare for a few more moments before sighing out a line of bubbles. "You look adorable, my dear."

Byleth swam close and kissed his cheek. "Thank you. I guess it doesn't help your research, though, does it? We both have Crests already. I can't give you new data."

"On the contrary-- you possess a different crest, and a rare one at that! The more experiences I can record the better." Hanneman took Byleth's hand. "Let us go to the surface. Alois should have fetched my notebook by now. I want to hear every detail of what you're feeling!"

With that, Hanneman began pulling Byleth up towards the dock. The next time he left for a trip, Byleth resolved, he was taking Hanneman with him.

Apparently three days was far too long.

I wont see my friends for a few days but I need to share my work drama so here internet you have it.

I can’t say which restaurant I work at bc we 100% have a social media policy and the wages are bussin sO just know it’s a steak house and averages like, $30-50 per person, but we’re a chain.

A few months ago, we had a server, D, get fired for stealing from the company by getting pieces of checks voided out from tables that paid in cash. So, say the bill was $120, they gave him $160 to cover tip, he would get a manager card and void off food from the bill so when he cashed out at the end of the night, he made not only the $40 the table meant to leave him, but also the difference between the actual total, and the one he manipulated. This was discovered by a server who was also an hourly manager, C, and D was fired. It was a big scandal for like, a week and then we all got distracted by the fact that after the death of a previous manager we still hadn’t hired someone new and we were struggling by on two BOH managers.

(We still haven’t hired a new manager. It’s been four months it’s truly crazy. Like waiting a little bit was appropriate to me but damn man we need someone else on the team now. We’re literally borrowing managers from other stores around the country. Last week we had a guy from tennessee, we’ve had a guy from texas. We’re close to the corporate office so right after it happened the LITERAL EXECUTIVE CHEF FOR THE COMPANY came to like, cut meat and make salads and shit. It was wild, I got to tell him he designed an appetizer that looked like a vagina, because he did.0

ANYWAY. Today, during a decently chill shift, we started talking because we’re a restaurant and gossip is a currency. AND I LEARNED THE MANAGER WHO GOT D FIRED, C, WAS IN ON THE GIG THE WHOLE TIME. HE WAS DOING THE SAME THING, AND HAS BEEN FOR OVER A YEAR.

Like, there’s an internal investigation right now, and the rough estimates for lost money is in the ten thousand dollars range. The company is looking into the legal actions because what looked like petty theft turned into fucking grand larcany and our GM is in so much trouble likely because he’s supposed to go over all the voids every week and it looks like he was just submitting the report without reading it. THey could have caught this so much faster if he had been oH MY GOD

but also one of my favorite coworkers got fired for a dumb reason. (There were legit reasons to fire him, tbh. Home boy was always late and left early and would leave and come back, but he was reliable as hell on the line.)

it’s just a lot to happen at a restaurant in one week. And we literally did have a manager die and have to cover shifts for the like, five employees he was related to. Christmas was crazy Corporate basically approved us for unlimited OT and our District manager like, moved into our store for a few weeks.

But yeah, I already have the story plotted so this won’t make it into hands off hands out but OH MAN IF I DIDN”T I still wouldnt use it because I tried to use it when we thought it was just D stealing and it wasn’t really a story i was interested in telling tbh? It just didn’t fit into the tone of the whole thing.

though for the All Theorizing sake:

Dark Lancelot could come from a lot of different places, but i would argue that Vane will have to be absent to make sure that this darkness can actually settles in.

Lancelot isn’t perfect, and nowadays we’re more used to him being gentle and content because he had the storyarc to address his issues to start with.

The absence of Vane is the one thing that could make Lancelot sway at any time because Vane was a support for Lancelot at all time.

(but also the main reason it’s theorized that way is because Lancelot’s voice actor has been preaching for a “corrupting Lancelot arc” for YEARS and his pitch was that only Vane could ever bring him back to the light. I would imagine that if the writers are finally giving him the arc he’s been begging in for ever, this will be included in)

Then again the major thing that eventually had Lancelot tip off to start with was Siegfried’s “betrayal”, so it’s also extremely likely something could be happening on this front. We know that when Siegfried was framed with the murder of their king, Lancelot had a hard time trusting anyone who wasn’t Vane, and would be easy to anger. We also know that he became extremely dedicated to his country to the point of ignoring and excusing huge flaws to try to hold on to “not being like Siegfried”. We know Isabela could basically use him however she wanted until Siegfried came back into the picture, and Vane and Lyria were the main reasons Lancelot listened to Siegfried’s side when time came. Especially since Siegfried was unwilling to explain himself at first because he wanted Lancelot to think for himself for a bit.

So the thing is that if Lancelot loses Vane, we have a Lancelot who is not in a position to trust anyone other than his loyalty to his country, meaning, Isabela. We also have him in a position where he would not trust Siegfried when the time would come that he needs to trust him.

I’ve also seen people mention that Lancelot looks a bit like how Siegfried looks when he’s lost to dragonblood madness. Considering the first knight event happened because Fafnir was going into a rampage and it’s why everyone was investigating why it was happening.... if instead of realizing that the stuff Isabela were doing were the thing causing the disturbance, Isabela could easily ask of Lancelot to neutralize Fafnir the way Siegfried neutralized him years ago, and we could have a Lancelot, loyal to Isabela, ending up poisoning himself as well.

In the past few years, and especially with Grand!Lancelot, granblue has been keen on going back to the event of the first few knights event and polishing the stories so that they sound more epic, like recent stories. Older events could be really great and the knight stories in particular always had more weight to them, but due to the pacing and the comparison to newer stories, the lack of polish really feels.

and with the newest storyarc of the knight stories being more and more to force Feendrache and Wales to face the sins of their past because the consequences are coming to get them, no matter how much they changed their way, using the alternate timeline stuff to explore again the elements of those past stories that will need to come back into focus (ie: Isabela’s influence on Feendrache, and Lancelot’s past blind nationalism), it would be interesting of they explore a Corrupted Lancelot storyarc in a way to further remind us what Lancelot had to grow out from and why it wasn’t a negligible character arc to have, now that it’s going to become the full focus of the knights storyarc.

Honestly i’m trying to not overthink it bc expectations is what always end up killing the anni events and i don’t want to play a part into that, but considering for how long everyone has been wanting Dark!Lancelot and the whole thematic of the event, it would be so interesting to see where it’s going per se.

guhhh tomorrow can’t come fast enough.

Also congrats!!! Education is a beautiful field. I'm honored i give off that image ajsbjdsh not a veteran by far but I can share my thoughts so hopefully they can give you an idea? Each school, class and kid is a whole word on its own after all.

First, I imagine you have this in mind but I insist you must always establish a firm line between what you allow in class and what it shouldn't be done.

I say this because I was also really anxious about having the kids have the time of their lives ajdhdjdb but there are going to be SO many times they won't listen, be tired, sleepy, or in a bad mood, which happens more often than not.

I have worked with elementary students and the first days it's super important they understand the rules they must follow. For that, I usually let them explain me the rules if the semester started and I'm the one "barging in" OR have them be the ones to decide the rules with me as the mediator. And honestly? they end up always pretty well (like raising your hand, distribution of chores, not talking over others or make a signal for when there's too much noise... they usually know)

Second, If your school works with proyects or allow more freedom to work on your syllabus, I'd suggest you take into account their interests and make investigations or as i mentioned proyects that catch their attention (for ex. I have done proyects about the uses of water, how does a theatre work, history phases...)

If your school is more strict, you can still try to use other things aside from the textbook (not saying the book is bad, just another tool) bc they are such a good reinforcement! Kids love to go to the school library, bring things from home, look into the web, discuss (I always have out a wall of ideas), to draw, to present stuff in front of others ... You get the gist!

Third, Try to talk with their other teachers to get to know the class dynamic faster. Sometimes they can be a bit harsh, but it does help bc there's just so much information you can gather the first weeks.

Fourth, Rewards! I have a point system I have always used, you may know what it is about bc it's pretty generic. At the end of the month if they have done good things (helped others, do their homework, listened in class...) and gotten points, they can exchange them (or even wait more to use them).

These absolutely depend on the class vibe tho. Some of them I could never have implemented in other classes and viceversa bc I know they'd get too crazy or wouldn't pay attention to class asdfkgk anyway, you can find lots on the internet but the ones that I ended up using the most due to popular demand are:

Choose a song while we are having lunch

Sit on my desk for a full day

Wear slippers in class

Bring their favorite toy to school

3 uses of dance mode on me

5 more minutes of recess

These are the main things that come to mind! Of course I can assure you all in all most kids tend to know when an adult is being honest, so just be there for them, listen to them and enjoy what their little minds come up with, it's so so worth it 💕

ive been cleaning out a bunch of files on my comp and google drive and i found a plot beat summary of static sound i typed out awhile back. spoilers, obviously, if you care about that, which you shouldn't, because as I've said from the beginning this was never about the plot so much as just screwing around with my characters. I only edited the bigger points so some of the rest might be outdated but close enough. here you go.

SIDE A:

-amaranth takes off to nk's domain to fight in gladiator matches, sees sarah's biotech w/ the same 'royal crest' mark she has and is like "hey where the fuck did you get that"

-oridar/verah are like "theres just this random kid [lily] out in the wastelands who makes 'em" so ama sets off to there to see what the deal is

-brief encounter with a toxinvein that takes out her ship but gets picked up by spurlocke, who as it happens was already going to see lily anyway

-it's like super obvious that lily's "the lost queen" from 700 years ago so amaranth calls her dad like "holy shit guess who i found"

-ezkiel hears this and freaks the fuck out because they thought they were DONE with that job and the whole shtick of the old rulers, and hightails it the fuck over there to end it for real

-meanwhile ama's like "ok well i can't take her home or do anything until i fix my ship" so they head Back to where ama's downed ship is

-ezekiel meets them on the way

-amaranth quickly finds a lot of [genuine] reason to be suspicious of ezekiel’s being there, and after calling her dad and getting some more info, her confronting ez quickly escalates to a fight where amaranth gets her ass fucking levelled and also inadvertently zapped with a toxinvein

-she's out cold, ez takes off with lily, spurlocke can't really do shit bc he's just some guy in all of this so he just takes to looking after ama for the moment

-flip back to ezekiel; tldr they end up exposition dumping about the razing and what they are and do as a chosen; most critically bringing up sth abt being a "regulator of cosmic/deity-level threats'' or something

-lily's like "oh ok cool you know that thing you zapped the loud girl with. maybe you should take a look at that, cuz that's kinda what we think that is."

-ezekiel decides an emerging sentient god virus is a more pressing issue than this one loose end from centuries ago and they head back to meet back up w/ the other two to investigate this [nobody Actually knows this is what toxinvein are at this point, but there's enough evidence to tip ez off that there's SOME kind of deity bullshit at play here]

-meanwhile Meanwhile after amaranth wakes up spurlocke gives her the 'hey so you're kinda fucked' rundown on what they know about toxinvein and what to expect now that she has one

-ez/lily get back a bit after this and one last lightning round exposition dump to get all the characters on the same page about who knows what

SIDE B

-crew discusses how to go about investigating more into this toxinvein thing

-lead 1: verah, who ama and ez both talked to, has a noticeable glitching problem Similar to toxinvein; lily and ez go see what that's about

-lead 2: ama got this Ominous Brain Message:tm: while she was asleep; not quite a dream but close enough to it that the fact of the ruler of this place being called "Nightmare King" is probably worth checking out

-there's some filler flavor type stuff here w/ ama and spur going to the city and meeting his band and her getting sensory overload and her having to go chill for a bit+catching up with magnolia but none of it is big plot important

-lily/ez get back from their questioning verah, which also pointed them to NK. they get ready to meet back up with the other two, but are intercepted by the Spy who attempts to drag ez back to NK himself for Other Reasons:tm:

-that doesnt work because ezekiel has the power of god and anime. anyway take a wild fucking guess where the whole crew heads now.

-tldr of the scene at NK's castle is he uses his powers to talk to the toxivein through ama's subconscious; the toxinvein drops the name "ibagreski", which is someone Io is all too familiar with

-squad goes on space trip with io to see ibagreski

-ibagreski's like ''oh lol that's Diode, guess he's finally leaking back into that domain since NK killed my Sentinel there. sucks for you guys but there's nothing that can be done, enjoy your slow apocalypse''

-obviously the protag crew doesnt want to do that but iba's like "unless you have [extremely specific and unlikely circumstances/resources/abilities] we literally can't do anything but wait it out"

-and ezekiel's like 'we do actually have that'

-ibagreski's like 'oh shit lol. yeah you guys can try to defeat Diode yourselves then i guess'

-this requires going back to pangea and summoning raathe, so they do that and then take it back to nk's domain and have it host the rest of diode's power

-big cool anime final battle n they kill the diode/raathe/amalgamated toxivein abomination

-send that whole mess to space hell so diode can't come back again again

-yeehaw

Postgame funsies which I have no clue if I'll ever actually include:

-ezekiel “actually in hindsight i don't know why i'm still tethering myself to this planet i have nothing but bad memories of. i'm fucking immortal and have god powers i'm going to fucking go off and explore space and find something good. also you guys sort of know about the whole genocide thing now so i im assuming you don't really want me around anyway and i dont want to deal with whatever you were planning to do to me. bye.”

-amaranth already had a pretty set life before this so it just goes back to business as usual, save for the newly-installed life support system and mild fucked up glitch powers+adjusting to that. she and magnolia get married at some point probably.

-spurlocke, now having the toxinvein biz sorted out and the favor of a god to call upon [and a bit of help from ezekiel], finally goes back to his homeworld to incite his revolution and overthrow its corrupt state to save what’s left it

-lily actually fucks off to space with ezekiel, at least for the first little while. she'd love to go around seeing/studying more whack phenomenon like toxinvein, and she can also act as something of an...emotional guide to ezekiel, since they aren't nearly as open to experiencing new weird shit as she is.

#this thing doesnt have chapters bc i cba to do formatting decently at all. side a side b babey we are Forcing that music gimmick #i have the intro in a separate document from the rest of the script too... maybe when i get to touching that up i'll post it as well #that ones like ACTUALLY outdated though. as in i changed a lot of lore since writing this outdated #in talking abt kiu today i realized what im shooting for here is really the same style of plot here as there #as in utterly fuckin meaningless and nothing but its still a ton of fun bc the characters are so good

Hi but I actually really want your detailed character analysis for each guy in the Craver interrogation scene 👀

Oh anon, the monster you have unleashed.

Ok so like. This is only one of many of my (often contradicting, bc if I am anything I am a flip-flopping bitch #taurus-gemini cusp) readings of this scene. But it certainly is the most interesting:

Ok, so let's start with the three boys outside of the beating room. Namely, Floyd Talbert, Ron Speirs, and George Luz.

There is only one agitated fella in this frame, and it's not George Luz. George is very secure in himself here-- there's tension lining him and making him stiff and his attempts at humor fall flat, but the fact that he is making attempts at all is a sign that he knows who he is in this moment and he knows what he is being called to do. And that's to distract Tab.

Tab, on the other hand, is struggling with two sides of him. One is the vindictive side that wants to be in the room with the other guys. But that side is largely trumped by his very rational, very Company 1st Sergeant side. He isn't agitated because he wants to join in. He's agitated because he knows he should stop them, and he's right. He should. Though the beating is "justified", the Military Police will most likely not think so. He's 1st Sergeant, he's in charge of most, if not all of the men in there. If the MPs investigate this incident, he will have to be the one to answer for them. And also I just think he doesn't want to see anybody get into trouble. Except he can't go in there and stop them because they have a point, or at least, they think they do. Craver hurt one of their own, and now there is no reasoning with them. Look at who's inside: Bull and Martin and Malarkey. NCOs, just like Tab. None of them outrank him, but they are still leaders in their own right. And if Tab were to go in there and stop them, they'd chew him out for it.

Tab is waiting for someone like Ron to come in and stop it. Because Tab knows he himself can't.

Except. Except. Except.

Ron doesn't stop it. Ron, in fact, enables it.

And this is where we also see Tab start to lose respect for Speirs.

IRL, Winters said that Tab resigned as 1st Sergeant because he kept comparing Speirs' leadership to Winters' leadership, and though the show itself doesn't actually make that the official reason for Tab's resignation in the next scene ("I miss being back amongst the men"), there are traces of it in this scene.

When Ron enters the room, the first thing Tab asks him is "How's Grant? Is he dead?" Speirs bypasses that question entirely for the sake of joining in on the beating, gun drawn.

From Tab's point of view, that means Ron has every intention to kill Craver.

And, of course, if we apply what we know from what IRL Winters told us, that means Tab is also thinking, in that moment; "No, Dick would never do this. Dick would never let it get this far."

And you can actually see that moment of clarity + subsequent disappointment (as well as relief at finding out Grant will live and disbelief that this just fucking happened) on his face here:

Furthermore, this is also the moment Tab (and, by extension, every body else in the room) finds out that Grant is going to make it after Ron tells them.

So not only is Tab thinking; "Dick would never do this. Dick would never let it get this far," he is also thinking "Why the fuck didn't he tell us that in the first place?! If Dick had been handling the situation, we would have gotten the news immediately! He wouldn't have allowed something as risky as this happen!"

And he's right.

But in fairness to Ron, this is probably the first time any of Easy has seen him lose his cool.

Because Ron is actually losing his cool here. This is his "it's my dog!" moment. He let the anger get to him, and therefore he made a terrible miscalculation.

I've already talked about this in this Grant/Speirs ask, but let me reiterate it here:

We (and Easy Company) are very used to thinking that Ron acts without compassion, mercy, or remorse, therefore when we first view this scene, we think that what is out of character for him is not shooting the replacement. We (and Easy, but especially Tab) are wrong. That is probably the most in character thing about Ron in this scene. What is truly out of character for him here is him drawing out the gun with the intention of shooting this motherfucker in the face.

See, one of the reasons why we think he doesn’t act with compassion, mercy, or remorse is because in the first half of the series, we don’t see him outside of the glimpses Easy company gets or the stories they exchange. But after episode 7, he’s suddenly with us all the time, and we see that his advice to Blithe was more of a… miscommunication, in a way.

Act with no compassion, no mercy, and no remorse toward the people you want to protect your men from. But this is where this scene gets complicated. At first glance, we think "ah, yes, he's protecting his men from this replacement."

Except-- there is literally 1 replacement vs. at least 1 squad of men (roughly 9 to 11 men). Why the fuck does a squad of soldiers (veterans too!) need protection against 1 replacement who has not had the same training and combat experience as them? They don't need protection here, they can handle themselves.

Oh, and another thing that adds to this predicament: Ron knows that Chuck is going to live.

Out of everyone in that room, Ron is the only one who knows that Chuck is actually going to live. So his internal struggle isn’t so much “oh I should act with no compassion, mercy, or remorse– but easy company has ~changed~ me.” In my opinion, his internal struggle in this moment, the reason why his hand trembles as he's preparing to shoot Craver, is this: “If I shoot him, I'm not protecting my men. I'm taking revenge.”

Which isn’t in his moral code.

Ron acts with no compassion, no mercy, and no remorse, yes, but there’s a certain level-headedness to him that keeps him in line at all times: only against those he's protecting his men from. Sure, he’s prone to bouts of petty anger sometimes (see in the next scene: More and his photo album), but he never lets that get in the way of his judgement (see: More didn’t back down, but neither did he do so in a disrespectful way and Ron recognized that, therefore he conceded his own defeat and didn’t punish More). He does what is necessary in the moment and never takes it beyond that.

But Chuck’s shooting drives him to the point of wanting to take revenge. He enters that room, gun drawn, with all the intention of shooting this motherfucker in the face. He knows it's a bad move. But he does it anyway. And him entering the room with his gun drawn enables everybody else. We, as an audience, have to remember that what they are doing is illegal and is very, very punishable by military law. Also: beating someone up like this, no matter how fucking vile, isn't the right thing to do, either. But sure, the MPs might be gracious enough (or if a certain Nixon is generous enough to tip them to look the other way), to let them probably get away with it on account of saying that the replacement tried to fight them and they simply fought back (yes, that does sound like rhetoric used to excuse police brutality; isn't that what this is in a way?). But if Ron pulled the trigger? If Ron had actually killed him? That would have been fucking bad.

It's not a Captain's job to enable his soldiers to do something illegal that'll most likely get them court martialled and/or killed. It's a Captain's job to protect his men. From their opponents, as well as from themselves.

In this moment, Ron is not doing that.

I know we like to get all vindictive and be all like "yeah that's what he deserves, this is justice!" but this isn't justice. This is revenge. And, again, revenge is not part of Ron's moral code. If only because revenge, more often than not, gets people killed instead of keeping them protected. If he shoots Craver, that will not only implicate him. It will implicate everyone else in the room.

He realizes it here:

Ron only comes to his senses when he already has the gun trained on Craver's face. Portrayed beautifully by Settle, might I add.

... This is a reach on my part, but I think his next movement is very powerful-- idk if it was written into the script or if this is just something Settle decided to do, but after he wipes the blood off and he turns away, Ron then takes his hat off. Which to me invokes in me the image of a king taking off his crown, or an executioner taking off his hood. It's almost as if he's relinquishing his authority in this moment-- not over Easy (since he does give them an order literally seconds after he takes it off), but over the right to be judge, jury, and executioner.

He recognizes that he did a whoopsie.

You know who I think also recognizes it?

George fucking Luz.

Look at his face. Look at his fucking expression here:

This is the face of a man who knows the what ifs and the could haves. He's put two and two together and he's pissed.

That's why I think another layer of him staying outside isn't just to comfort Tab. It was self-preservation. He still had his wits around him at this time-- arguably he and Tab are the only ones thinking straight in this moment; it's no coincidence that it looks like he's looking at Tab here-- and a part of him believed that Ron would, too. Except, he didn't. That's why he's angry. Ron came up short.

Or idk, I could be projecting, I mean I would be pretty pissed off in his position. Pissed at Craver, but also pissed at Speirs-- if my Captain, my leader, the guy I trusted decided to do something reckless like that and put all the lives of my fellow soldiers on the line simply because he wanted revenge or simply because he wanted to scare people and therefore get a grip over the situation, I would be angry, too. Remember, Speirs has a layer of protection, somewhat. Probably wealthy family, some wealth squirreled away. Not to mention he's a commissioned officer less likely to be used as a scapegoat. These men, everyone in that room, are enlisted working class men. Most likely, they don't get the luxury of a scapegoat or a tip off or bail. Had Speirs gone through with it, they'd have a body on their hands. And if the family of this replacement pushed, the MPs will no doubt pick someone in this room and pin it on them. Or hell, they'll take everyone, punish all of them, and then execute several. They were just lucky this replacement didn't actually have anybody on his side.

This was dangerous. But Ron let it happen. He didn't protect them like he promised he would. And to some degree, George and Tab know that.

Although, I can argue, everybody in this room realizes that. Except, they realize it too late.

They realize it the second Ron pulls the gun.

I've said it before, in this ask right here, that Liebgott flinches in this scene. Which is funny, considering when Ron enters the room, he's the one who's most in Craver's face. Him and Babe. Which is understandable, considering the three of them were close, as can be gleaned from the Last Patrol. Of course Lieb and Babe would get dibs on Carver's face. Of course they're the ones who get to bloody them up good. Carver shot their best friend-- of course they're angry. Liebgott especially-- I feel like this is the episode where he lets all his anger out. For ep 1 - 9, he's fine. He's funny and jovial-- a little irritable, especially in the Last Patrol, but only at Web, really. And not even by that much. What he mostly is, is tired. And that's it.

But this is after Landsberg and after the mountain top, too. He's angry and he has no outlet. So of course he's the one getting the most hits on Craver. And when Speirs enters the picture, he's delighted in some way. But it doesn't last.

At first he's watching Speirs (as beautifully depicted in this gif set), he is the only one watching Speirs. Then, Craver is pistol whipped and held at gun point and what does Joe do?

He flinches. Babe also flinches. And then they, and the rest of the room, look away. They all look away. From Bull to Babe to Johnny to even Pat and Popeye. Frank physically steps back. Malarkey literally closes his eyes. The only one looking is More. It's almost like the weight of what they have done has finally sunk in for all of them.

But, it's not enough to spur them to stop Speirs. In fact, except for Malarkey, they turn back to look.

Because, like Speirs, the need for revenge is pulling them toward this need to see this replacement die. But unlike Speirs, they don't know if Chuck is alive or not.

And that's where it gets Yikes. And in a way, maybe Tab is right. If Dick had been in Ron's position, 1) this replacement would have been given to the MPs immediately, and; 2) Grant's safety and the news of Grant's safety would have been the top priority. And though that would have not quelled their anger, they would have at least been comforted by the knowledge that Grant was going to live.

Listen, Ron abides by the same code of honor Dick and all the other officers abide by, and he has held up that same code of honor many times. In different ways and through different methods, yes, but always with the same goal in mind: protect. Always protect.

But not here.

Ron did not give them the comfort of knowing Grant's status and he put them in a dangerous situation. He did not think of them first. No doubt spurred on by his own trauma and his own simmering anger and lack of a proper outlet, a proper enemy to take it out on, he was blinded by his rage and simply thought of himself and his revenge. Not his men.

Ron slipped up. They're just lucky he caught himself before it got any worse.

Diluc watches a bard glide into his tavern like he owns the place. The Ragnvindr raises a brow, placing a wine glass back into a cupboard.

"Venti," he says, picking up another glass, polishing it. "Are you here to pay back your tabs?"

"Ah, Master Diluc!" The boy in green laughs nervously, "Oh, what a pleasant surprise, but of course I wouldn't dream to have your bills jeopardized."

The door of the tavern chimes, signaling another customer is there. Aether places his hands on his knees, heaving for breath and Paimon floats in, hitting Aether's head lightly, "I GOT YOU NOW."

Venti whistles and casually sides himself next to the traveler and wraps an arm around him, "Aether here, will be delighted to pay for my tab."

Paimon gasps and takes the hat off Venti's head. "No! We didn't come here to do that!" She flips to Aether, helping him up, "Tell him why we're here, Aether!"

The tavern owner wipes his hand on a cloth and leans forward on the counter, curious. The glass windows and colourful bottles filter the sunlight from behind the man. Colours reflect to Diluc, making him look like some sort of rainbow Angel.

Aether inhales, now standing up normally. "Lately, I've been getting a lot of commissions to gather Wolfhook for remedies, and whenever I ask what it's for they always say how it's like they..." He trails off, not knowing the best way to put it.

Dliuc clears his throat, watching Venti attempt to steal another bottle of wine. He quickly grabs the bottle from Venti's hand, who sulks sitting at the very right side of the counter.

"Like they think they have thing obnoxious sound in their head," Diluc finishes for Aether. "And when they try to remember what, it hurts them more."

Aether's head perks up, "Master Diluc, do you have these too?"

Diluc looks up, thinking. "...Yes, but it has mostly been the drunkard Knights that have been telling me these stories whilst I work here."

He breathes in sharply, "Those no use for good Knights come here more often since two years ago, which coincidentally is the disappearance of someone from the Investigation Team. I always assumed it was because that person had a huge impact on them, but when I questioned them, they don't even know the name of the missing person."

Paimon makes a face, "You sure have been doing a lot of research."

"If even the Knights are having troubles with only themselves, how would Mondstadt be protected?"

"Right! So," Venti quips. "Getting to the point. I also have been trouble remembering these... things, but one thing's for certain! The things I can't remember always leads me to this lovely tavern. Truly, the answer is under these curtains."

Paimon furrows her brows, scanning around the tavern for curtains. "There are no curtains here."

"Eheh~ It's a metaphor for, what's hiding in store!"

Diluc adjusts his gloves. "I have to admit, I do understand what you mean with the remembering and forgetting," he comments. "But what is it that you propose I do? What does this tavern have to do with anything?"

"Has there been any other... strange things going on?" Paimon floats, tilted forward. "Aether would als-"

The fae turns to Aether, only now realizing he disappeared from her side. "Aether?" She hovers over the boy's shoulder when finding him.

He stands in front of the door, observing the scratches- some new and some old. Venti hops off the stool he sits on and saunters to his friends, signaling Diluc to follow.

Aether's fingers trace the marks on the door and turns to the owner of the tavern. "Master Diluc, can I ask how long had Angel's Share been standing? When was it first built?"

Diluc ponders, scratching his chin a bit, then answering, "A few hundred years, give or take. It's been preserved well."

Aether's hand lifts from the door. "Then how is this old marking foreshadowing us meeting here?" His golden eyes scan over the names written on the door. Deep engravings, yet faded out edges let him figure it's been hundreds of years.

He looks over the words, or names on the door. "Diluc, Aether, Paimon, Venti, Albedo, Sucrose. By the time the first four meet, the other two will arrive because they're smart like that. Please, help me. There are barely any resources here. Things are yet to be mined or built."

Venti collapses again, clutching his head. He winces, looking up with one eye and waving his worried peers. "It's alright I just-" he takes a moment to pause. He grins, "I think I know who the mystery person in my memory is."

"It's just..." He tries to stand, but his knees fail him. "Remembering them changes many things."

Diluc looks to Aether, wondering if he had answers, but the blonde only shook his head, supporting Venti with his shoulder and placing him on a chair.

Paimon is still distracted by the carvings on the door. She floats closer. Her eyes are observing the door very closely. "It says Albedo and Sucrose a-"

The door flings Paimon to the cupboard Diluc puts the mugs and glass in. "gAH?!"

Albedo and Sucrose stand in front of the opened door. They both seem to be searching something and their eyes land on Diluc. Sucrose sighs in relief and pushes her glasses up to the bridge of her nose.

"Master Diluc," She says meekly, taking a thick book out of the bag she carries.

"Sucrose and I require your assistance in one of our projects." Albedo finishes for the girl before nodding to the others beside the Ragnvindr, acknowledging their presence. "I hope you can aid us."

...

Your hands are clasped in front of yourself, trying to contain your emotions. After meeting a Ragnvindr, you thought you were getting somewhere. As someone who knows the arts of science, you thought all you needed was to see a familiar presence in Mondstadt, so you searched the nobles, knowing how long they've spent in Mond.

You did not in fact gather inspiration, nor answers to getting back home, but you did befriend a wealthy aristocrat who, despite not believing your time-travel story, decided to help fund your research to going back to your time after helping him out with the latest project called "Angel's Share."

You sighed, taking a bite out of an apple while watching a few of Angel's Share's first customers. Looking around, Mondstadt still had that sort of look from the future, but everything is new and shiny. Everything is newly built.

You've been here for two years, and from those two years you watched Mondstadt quickly finish the last few touches to the city you know. It was a strange experience to say the least.

When you had first known you time traveled, you hadn't realized it until you waltzed into Favonius Headquarters and a guard seized you. You kicked and punched the guard, claiming you were one of the members of the Investigation Team but they looked at you like you were crazy. You stopped hitting them, and thought back to how the guard does not look like anyone you knew.

You asked him what year it was and the guard made a face. He grabbed your wrist harshly and was about to throw you down until a boy in green threw an apple at his head.

The green boy clutched his hat and sent a push of wind towards the guard, making him unconscious.

"Venti?"

The boy froze, and slowly turned towards you. "Goodness gracious! Haha, that is right! I must be getting popular these days for you to recognize my face." He exclaimed with a bow and a tip of his hat.

You tilted your head. You cautiously walked close to inspect his face. "But we just had wine the other day? What're you..."

Your eyes snapped to your hands then back to his teal eyes. "Are you really Venti?"

The boy lifted his cape from right to left, picking out details. "I'm sure I am he, for what else could my name be?"

"Ah.. right." You said partially scared. "Venti, do you know who I am?"

Venti placed a finger in the air, "You know... I have vision from Barbatos himself. It allows me to know if the winds of a person are new and old, but yours..." He circled you, thinking. "You have the presence of my own wind though I've never met you. How strange."

"Well I mean- we just drank together yesterday so-"

Shouts and yells came from inside the Favonius Headquarters. Venti's eyes widened, reaching for you and ran to Mondstadt's central market and hid behind a box of crates. He shushed you, pointing to the guards asking for someone wearing green.

"Darn it! Looks like I'm a wanted fugitive again."

"Again?"

Venti frowned, looking at you, "Did I say 'again?' You make me say strange things. Well then!" He brushed the feeling off and flipped his cape inside out so he wore white instead of green. "The guards said a boy with a green cloak, but now I have a white cloak!"

"Wow, they'll never catch you now."

Venti grinned, "So... Even if you have Mondstadt's winds lingering on your clothes, I can't say I've seen you around- I should know, because this is where I'm bound."

Your lips parted a bit, still not catching on. "But Venti, we just went for drinks yesterday before I went back to camping in Dragonspine."

Venti squinted his eyes, "EHH??"

"Unless..." You muttered, thinking of the events that happened. You look at the statue of Barbatos far in the distance, then look at the boy in front of you.

"Barbatos," you said loud enough for only the two of you to hear.

To most people, it would seem nothing out of the ordinary happened, but you weren't most people. You worked with a few of the Captains of The Knights of Favonius. It is required to have a perceptive eye, (When you didn't catch on things as fast, Albedo would simply guide you to the right direction with a little mumble. Maybe he'd pull a few jabs, but it's all in good fun.) and when you whispered the archon's name, you note the way Venti makes a face. His eyes dart and he turned more giggly. He whistled like he hadn't heard what you just said.

You put two and two together and you realized that you've been friends with the Anemo Archon.

You slap a hand on your face. Shock runs up your body- not because Venti was the Anemo Archon, but because you were too slow on figuring it out.

"Archons- Venti? You're him?" You knit your brows pointing at the statue of him far away.

"Ehe~ you caught me," he held his hands up in surrender. "But how did you ever know?"

You thought back, excited. "Venti, you don't know this, but future you talked to me a day ago about my time travel thing, and it worked."

...

But of course, that was two years ago. You hadn't been exited about your discovery of time travel since then.

um umm this is gonna a bit ďark(?) so it's ok if u don't want to write this 👉👈 how would herlock react and help to his assistant that actually gets anxious easily and tries to hide it? like people yelling and certain environments that remind him of school could trigger his anxiety? tY!! - dadlock anon

a/n: feeding all of my lil ducklings (my 11 followers) with so much food right now it's amazing. and yes ! i'll be able to write this one, using my own experiences of course. if there's anything wrong here please don't hesitate to tell me !

sherlock with his assistant (he / him) who has anxiety

sherlock is kind of oblivious at times, but in my eyes he sees family and everyone he loves first and everything else second. so he pays extra attention to whatever is happening in his family to make sure everything is okay.

he can read faces, body language and tones very well so it's near impossible to hide whatever your emotion is from him. the same goes to iris since she's just as deductive as sherlock.

sherlock worries for you while you're both on the job even if you've proved yourself useful and he can see it, but he can't help but be a heartfelt guy and think about your safety.

he always warns you (even before knowing you have anxiety) about some stuff like there's some sensitive things in a certain investigation. he's just used to it.

"there's a body in that house there that's butchered and in critical condition so fair warning, it is gruesome. are you sure you want to come inside and investigate ?"

it's honestly really sweet of him that he's always making sure you're safe. you're so dear to him that he'd go insane if something bad happened to you.

one mission you're investigating an empty apartment with the main culprit nowhere to be seen. sherlock could sense the person was in the apartment and was searching everywhere for them with you.

the place was bare, a couple bits of loose paperwork scattered on the cold, hard and bloodied floor where the victim lay. it was already creeping you out a little bit, but with sherlock asking if you needed a minute to yourself, you decided that you'd investigate with every fiber in your body like herlock.

soon enough the whole place was checked, minus the attic which was well hidden in the back area of the apartment. sherlock ushered you over saying that he might have found something and with tip toes, you walked to his side, hiding behind him because damn was he tall.

"haha, it's okay ! this'll only be a quick arrest so we can go home in a jiffy afterwards !" sherlock said as he ruffled your hair.

you nodded and let him pull the attic door down ever so gently..

but halfway through pulling it down, the supposed criminal busted down the stairs, running out of the apartment as he slammed the stairs down onto the floor.

this scared you, immensely so. you fell back onto the floor with some papers underneath you, yelling out in fright as the culprit ran away.

sherlock was about to go bolt for the criminal, knowing exactly where they were going, but as soon as he heard you scream out in fear he rushed over and kneeled down beside you to check if you're okay.

needless to say you're not okay, panting with your eyes darting back and forth, tears threatening to fall out of your eyes.

"th-the criminal !! they're-they're getting away, herlock ! oh god.."

sherlock nods, he's instead keeping his calm and collected temper and asking if you're alright. he sounded like a worried mother behind the calmness he built around him.

you shiver, it's hard to give him an answer. stuttering and your current state made it hard to express your feelings but sherlock knew what you were feeling.

he hugged you firmly, letting you melt into his grasp and cry as much as you needed to. he's not going to just you for feeling anxious and frightened.

he gently scoops you up and brings you outside where it doesn't reek of blood. he knows that the yard is already on the criminal's case and probably has arrested them already so there was no need to rush.

he gently put you down and propped you against a wall. he's surprisingly good at dealing with upset or frightened people. he's glad that your situation is similar to one iris had a little while ago.

he continues to hug you gently until your sobs slow and turn into hiccups, then he asks if you're alright and need anything.

he may not have much, only a half empty water bottle and a couple caramel bars but he's willing to share if it'll help you feel happy.

giving you some water and caramel bars, he rubs your shoulder, sitting beside you and keeping you company as your anxiety sizzles down.

you tell him that you have anxiety and get anxious at loud noises and he understands, promising to protect you more whenever you encounter something loud and sudden again.

he tells you that you're incredibly strong for telling him, although he does feel bad that he didn't protect you more back there, but now that he knows that you have anxiety he'll double make sure you're safe with him and protected. you are his assistant after all and he is still like a mentor to you.

he sits with you for as long as you like. he talks about anything and everything to get your mind off of what just happened, he wants you to be happy !!

SELF INDULGENT APOLLO JUSTICE ACE ATTORNEY AU BECAUSE IT BRINGS ME JOY ( SPOILER WARNING ⚠️‼️)

okay so the cast would be as follows

apollo - tommy

phoenix - wilbur

trucy - tubbo

klavier - ranboo (this one's ambitious but hear me out-)

and then all of the filler characters would be various other smp members (suggestions?)

so then the plot would go as follows (we're bullet pointing this bitch you better run)

• so tommy arrives in the courtroom with dream, and he's nervous as hell, because not only is it his first trial

• his client is wilbur fucking soot

• world renouned defense attorney, now disbarred for forging evidence

• but tommy is 110% sure wilbur is innocent

• because wilbur is his HERO

• and then dream introduces them and damn he looks like shit

• i'm talking full pogtopia era get-up, plus a ratty beanie that has wilby painted on it and a crown pin

• so wil spouts the standard cryptic bullshit you'd expect from phoenix

• and tommy does an early smpe earth 'i am so cool and not at all starstruck' type act

• and they head in

• you meet the judge, who i didn't replace bc it's the judge

• tommy does his chords of steel, but with significantly more swearing then apollo would use

• and dream seems to be just a bit off

• and he goes on this big tirade about blue cards

• the case goes smoothly, until

• tommy feels something akin to a burning from the compass he's kept as a necklace for as long as he can remember

• and he just knows that the witness is lying

• it's like he can see the tiniest of tells that tip him off

• dream doesn't quite understand it, but wilbur looks like he knows exactly what's going on

• before he calls this out, though, a recess is called

• wilbur and dream have a chat, so tommy's left to his own devices

• and this boy about his age in a green magician's outfit runs up to him

• and he looks like an older version of the picture of wilbur's kid that he showed off in court beforehand

• and he hands tommy a (bloody??) playing card and poofs away

• then the trial resumes as normal, with tommy grilling the witness and eventually accusing her

• but it just doesn't seem right

• he knows she's not lying about being innocent, her tells would have tipped him off if she was

• but dream pushes and pushes him to formally accuse her

• until wilbur fucking soot interjects with an OBJECTION!

• while tommy geeks the hell out, wilbur asserts that there must have been someone else in the room

• and accuses dream.

• tommy's confused, and the both of them argue back and forth for a bit, until wilbur starts explaining his theory with evidence from tommy along the way

• but it's seeming like they don't have any non circumstancial evidence

• until wilbur has tommy pull out the playing card

• (i haven't been explaining the case but it makes sense i promise)

• they win the case, with dream never faltering or showing emotion, even after being taken away

• tommy's shaken up, but happy, all things considered

• but before he can ponder on what's just happened, wilbur takes him aside to talk

• and admits the card was forged

• tommy's shocked, and he's sad, and he's angry, because how could wilbur fucking soot forge evidence??

• and he punches him in the face

• wil smiles and gives him an offer to work at his office, since tommy's boss is kind of in jail

• tommy leaves

• but he comes back a few months later, only out of desperation

• he's greeted by the boy from the trial (wil's kid?)

• who demands to know his name and his 'talent'

• tommy says he's a lawyer and introduces himself

• the kid says his name is tubbo and that the building hasn't been a law office in a long time

• tommy asks to see wilbur

• so they go to see him

• in the fucking hospital

• he managed to get hit by a car, which sent him flying 40ft back into a telephone pole

• and he sprained his ankle

• he's very lucky apparently

• so from there, cases 2 and 3 play out (i'm gonna skim though these bc if i write them out ill end up rewriting plot points and i don't have the energy)

• along the way, they meet a few interesting people

• ranboo, a prosecutor who's dream's younger brother and the guitarist for a popular band, that tubbo immediately gets along with and tommy despises

• dispite seeming cocky, he's impressively awkward outside of court

• technoblade, a detective who's fairly standoffish towards tommy and tubbo alike, but has a soft spot for wilbur (do they have a history)

• kristin, a singer with a past she can't remember (unbeknownst to tommy, his compass tends to point towards her and tubbo. odd)

also before we move on to the final case, a quick summary of the dynamics and other small shit bc seritonin

• though wil adopted tubbo, they have much more of a sibling dynamic, and cause general mayhem

• wilbur does actually warm up to tommy fairly quickly (beanix and apollo dynamic, my abbhorrent) and while tommy still doesn't 100% trust wil, they do end up getting pretty close as time goes on

• tubbo and ranboo IMMEDIATELY hit it off, much to the dismay of tommy, and the two of them act like the dummy named micheal that tubbo uses for magic tricks is their son

• tommy acts like he hates ranboo's guts, but that won't stop him from trying to sweet talk his way into getting evidence from him (it always works, ranboo has no spine.) he also, like in canon, vents to ranboo whenever he needs to, and ranboo ends up knowing more ab him then even wil and tubbo

• jack is eldoon. they all go to his noodle shop constantly and tommy always complains about them being too salty. jack hates him with a passion but adores tubbo and wil

• instead of snakooos, techno deadass just has entire bags full of raw potatoes that he eats like chips, this is terrifying to everyone except wilbur, who acts like it's completely normal

• instead of pretending to be taken hostage in case 2, tubbo deadass pretends to have a nuke and threatens to set it off unless a recess is called. after things calm down they go back in and he just,, doesn't get arrested. the law is fucked

• after case 1, dream wears a smiley mask in order to not show his face, paranoid that tommy or someone else like him will know his secrets though his tells

okay now final case here we go

• wilbur tells tommy and tubbo that he's been working on a special trial with the jury system, and that he needs them to defend

• they agree, and go to meet the client

• things generally go like any other investigation, but there's just something about it that feels game changing

• and as they power though the first part of the trial, they start to uncover that there might be someone pulling the strings from behind the scenes

• tommy clocks her tell (chewing her nails) and they start to make progress

• but before they can uncover answers from her, she passes out

• a recess is called, and so are paramedics

• it turns out she's ingested the same kind of poison as the victim, coming from her nail polish

• tommy and tubbo are shaken up, and they go to wil for help

• he decides they need to know the full truth, but he knows that some of the evidence is lost at this point

(and holy shit stay with me here i promise that as out of left field this is the original game made significantly less sense)

• he phones a friend that he knows is the only one that can help them

• karl

• he explains the situation, and karl agrees to help them

• and they fucking time travel

(again, the game makes even less sense i promise)

• they chat with the victim and defendant from seven years beforehand, right after wil was disbarred

• they watch the trial wil got disbarred over, where he defended tubbo's bio father, phil

• and they see a much smaller tubbo hand wil the forged evidence, saying that a kind man told him to give it to the man with the bright blue hamilton suit

• and they watch wil present it, only to be shot down by a much younger ranboo, who proves it's fake

• and they find out tubbo and tommy are bio siblings, which they're shocked about but decide to talk about later (fuck canon tommy and tubbo get to know)

• and they go visit dream in prison

• at this point wil is CONVINCED dream is behind everything, they just need the right evidence

• so they head to the cell, only for it to be empty

• naturally, they start snooping

• wil finds a letter, and opens it to reveal exactly what they need to win the case

• but before they can leave, dream, equipped with a smiley mask, stops them

• they exchange a few words before they leave, letterless

• luckily, wil has a trick up his sleeve, and reveals that his crown pin has a built in camera

• they examine the contents of the letter, and wil hastily makes a replica, and they head off to the trial

• since they're experimenting with the jurist system for the first time, they can't afford to wait for the defendant to heal, so they proceed

• they call dream to the stand

• they grill him for quite a while, with the help of ranboo who refuses to protect his brother, getting him to show his true colors, and then pull out the letter

• and he says that it's a fake, which the judge unfortunately agrees with

• so they don't have their evidence

• and even though they've shown pretty much everything and dream had practically admitted to bring a murderous bastard and the one who gave tubbo the fake to give to wil

• they don't have enough to convince a judge

• tommy and tubbo are crushed

• but wil is happy

• because they don't have to convince a judge

• they have to convince a jury

• and they win

• dream shatters along with his mask, going completely off the deep end

• their client is safe, and so is wil

• kristin also reveals to wil that she's tommy and tubbo's bio mom, saying that she'll tell them when she's really

• so things come to a close

• for now, anyway
