S5 STRANGER THINGS
When season 5 of Stranger things comes out, I recommend recording your reaction, remember to make your voice louder than your pc audio.
Especially if you wanna upload clips of you reacting somewhere, because you might get a copyright strike if you upload too long clips or too loud/long audio clips!
''Why should I do this?'' Because it's a fun idea, imagine seeing your favorite ship go canon and you scream your lungs out. It's a funny clip, you'd get potential of going viral and creating a tiktok sound 🙏 (if that's what you're looking for, me personally; idc abt that stuff)
It would also be fun if everyone in the fandom uploaded their reactions to big plots, cause then you can be put in a ''People reacting to __'' video!! (which I will def be making)
If you like the idea, keep it in mind and take a screenshot of this post so you don't forget. If you want to record on pc; I recommend OBS. But if you have no experience with that, use streamlabs. You must have a youtube or twitch but you don't have to be active on there at all. ^^
ALSO A TIP: If you can't watch szn 5 when it comes out, stay off the internet to avoid spoilers! People are quick with edits, and some people think it's enough to put a warning in the caption (which is useless bc like what?)

Ugh
So it turns out that both Streamlabs and StreamElements are ran by questionable people, I had already jumped ship when SL stealing shit came out and i've started moving off of SE...
But i'm stuck
Moving my alerts to the built in twitch ones went swimmingly and the same can be said for swapping to the Slime2Stream chat box stuff but that leaves two things:
A crane game widget that I adore and even made my own art for the second that update happened but it was made for SE and I dunno if it can even move it if that's even possible in the first place.
and kappagen which while I know I could use the version in soundalerts I wanna find that one that turns the emotes into cubes and nothing i google makes it pop up which is even more annoying when I know FalseEyeD (yes the vtuber news guy) has it and doesnt have it credited anywhere.
False please...

i organized my streaming stuff. i might readjust some of the placements as i didn't have time to do it earlier. most of it was done before work and then when i got home i did the rest before dinner.
i'll try and mess with it tomorrow or later in the week.
if u wanna know what is in the folders let me know and i'll post the contents of them.
but yeah finally organized. i'm glad u could make folders, I had way to much cr4p on my obs. i had like 15+ things, so making folders just makes it easier.
i wish u could delete the scene transitions as i don't really use them. i mean i might in the future, but idk;must likely not. but that's why the scene tab and the scene transition tab are 1. on the bottom and 2. together so i don't have to mess with them.
but yeah i wish i could get rid of them, cuz they're just taking up space on the screen.
also i only set this up via obs, not on streamlabs or twitch studios on my pc.
i didn't do it on streamlabs as streamlabs for me is broken for some reason. for some reason the chat never loads in and idk what ppl are saying to me and after a few hrs the stream freezes and its on a standstill/looks like a photo, and nothing will move.
the reason i don't have it on twitch studios is there's no point if i'm gonna get a gaming pc soon, anyways so instead of having to do it 4 times(obs and twitch studios on current pc and on the new one),just gonna do it once on this pc. then when i get the new pc all i gotta do is copy and paste the url's to myself and look at what their properties are and basically match them up on obs. then will do the same for streamlabs and twitch studios.

once my new camera gets here this week, i’ll be livestreaming stuff. dunno what all i’ll be doing other than maybe some live tarot readings and some art, but yeah. it just feels like something i wanna try and i’ll finally have all the shit i need to do it. i’ve been spending the weekend learning to use OBS Studio. I used to mess about with streamlabs obs so i could help husband figure stuff out for his own livestreaming things but since i run a Linux OS and not windows or mac, I had to learn OBS since that’s what works on my computer.

Sick- Wilbur Soot x Reader
Sick- Wilbur Soot x Reader
Word count: 1k
Request: hey gurlllll!
I was hoping for a Wilbur x reader imagine where reader is behind the camera on one of Wilbur streams bc there Ill so he is keeping an eye on her, but something happens so they pass out and Wilbur panics and end stream nd stuff love your. Work !!!
A/N: this has some sickening fluff
Ah, Anaemia- a great plague to your existence. You'd had anaemia since you were young, you'd always been pale and fatigued, but everyone assumed it was from your lack of sleep, nobody thought something deeper was going on. Until your mum took you to the doctor. It was a manageable condition, of course it was, but if you're as forgetful as you are, it's often hard to keep track of your iron intake. You were prone to fainting- it wasn’t very often, but it was enough for Will to keep a watchful eye on you, especially if you hadn't eaten all day.
You were sat on his bed, soaking up the warmth of the covers. You'd gotten sick recently, nothing too bad but enough to keep you in Wilburs bed indefinitely. He was streaming Geoguessr, and insisted on keeping an eye on you due to your sickness. It was hitting about 1 am, the usual for you two, night owls. You hadn't been able to stomach much all day except some terrible mushroom soup Will made, you appreciated the effort though. You decided you could probably stomach some toast. You'd just heard Will guess correctly in Geoguessr and he yelled in excitement. You rolled your eyes with a smile on your lips before throwing the covers from yourself. Immediately the cold hit, your body not being used to it after spending all day curled up in the blanket. You broke out in goosebumps as you shivered a little bit. You still saw Will's gleeful face as you threw your legs over the side of the bed. That seemed to be the last thing you saw though, because as soon as you stood up, your vision started to go spotty and static, and you could practically feel your legs crumble underneath you. Without being able to get a word out to Will, your body hit the wooden surface of the bedroom with a thud.
Wilburs head shot in your direction as he heard the thud of the floorboards.
“(Y/N)!” He immediately threw his headset off and ran over to you, kneeling down instantly. In classic Wilbur fashion, like he does every time, he completely overreacted to your fainting spell. Within seconds you had regained consciousness and could hear Wilbur freaking out. Your head throbbed, you fell hard. You lay your hand on Wilburs arm to calm him, and at the sight of movement, he immediately ceased talking. He lay a soft hand on your cheek, staring at you like you were a doll. You'd told him multiple times that this happens sometimes and your usually fine, but it always scares him. He just couldn’t bare the thought of losing you. And he knew he wasn’t being rational, because you were fine every time, but he couldn’t help but worry. You gave him a soft smile as you sat up with your arms.
“What were you trying to do? You know you're sick right now and I could've just gotten whatever you just RISKED your life for” He definitely emphasized that bit. It made you giggle.
“Becauseeee, you were streaming and I didn’t want to disturb you” Simultaneously both your eyes went wide. He was still streaming. You burst out laughing as Will asked one last time if you were alright, to which you gave a nod, before rushing to his stream. The chat was going absolutely wild because, what the fuck just happened?? He put his headset back on and looked into the camera, he was red and flushed.
“I am so sorry for the sudden leave chat, my... girlfriend is sick right now, and she thought it would be a good idea to overexert herself” He was very hesitant to mention his girlfriend to the stream, as they didn’t even know he had one. He preferred his private life private, but he absolutely couldn’t think of a good explanation for what had just happened.
“I DIDNT OVEREXERT MYSELF I JUST STOOD UP” You shouted, laughing, from your position on the bed. His chat, which about 5 minutes ago was filled with stans on the verge of calling 999, was now incredibly relieved, but also thoroughly surprised. His chat instantly filled up with requests to see his elusive girlfriend. To be honest, he thought they'd give a much worse reaction to the fact he had a girlfriend. It made him smile a little.
“You guys wanna see her?” He smiled, looking in your direction to check if it was okay. You smiled back, which was all he needed. He immediately ran over to the bed and grabbed you bridal style to show the stream. He couldn’t resist a chance to show you off to anyone. You giggled so loudly before shouting,
“No please I'm sick” in a dramatic manner whilst throwing your hand atop your head. He held you like you were his prized possession and looked at you admiringly.
“She's still gorgeous even if she is sick, right chat?” He glanced towards his screen before looking back at you. He carefully put your feet to the floor and let you sit on his gaming chair. “My deepest apologies chat but I am going to have to end this stream, no way am I letting them pass out again” He smiled whilst reading some of the nice comments from his stream. He closed StreamLabs and stopped his stream before looking at you with such a dad look.
“What?” You said adorably before you both laughed. He picked you up again bridal style, eliciting a small scream from you.
“You are getting back in bed, and I am getting you some food” He said sternly, and you knew there was no point arguing.
“Can you get snacks and we can cuddle my sickness away?” You pouted. He broke out in a smile of adoration as he lay you onto the bed.
“Of course” He kissed your forehead gently and started walking to the kitchen. You couldn’t help feeling bad that you interrupted Wilbur's stream, but at least you didn’t have to keep hiding your relationship. You smiled and turned on your favourite show, impatiently waiting for Will's return.

I somehow managed to contract brainrot for your character design and streams and I have to ask 1) do you archive your streams anywhere? I am now invested in the history of your quark brew world 2) is it cool if I do my own interpretation of your character design?
I started streaming in February, and I didn't have any external drive for storage until March, but I have been saving the recordings of every single stream since then! I just haven't uploaded them anywhere yet.
The problem with uploading the vods is the background music. I don't know how to not record Spotify in Streamlabs OBS because I'm new at this and audio mixing already makes my head spin, so all of my stream recordings have music that I, uh, borrowed without asking. I don't know the specifics of how YouTube's claiming system works, but I do know a music claim could get my channel nuked. So until I figure something out, like maybe uploading the vods somewhere less strict or (gasp) paying money to use things, I'm keeping them all safe.
As for character design, yes, absolutely, I wanna see! I'm flattered that you like it! I still have a lot of growth to do as a digital artist but this fandom has grown my skills a lot and I'm having a lot of fun! :V

Can you pick me up? my uni burnt down (Chapt. 2)
Relationships: Sleepy bois inc (all fics i write are platonic)
Summary:
In which Techno goes to England for University, his building catches fire in the night, and he isn't prepared for the difference in climate between England and California. SBI fluff ensues
Chapter summary:
After waking up, Wilbur has the great idea that they should do a sleepy boys stream. Tommy doesn't get told about this id
Words: 1785
Language: English
AO3 Chapt. 1
Listen, waking up on a sofa, with a thin blanket shared with 3 men was never going to be the best morning. His back hurt and his legs were numb from Wilbur having sprawled out over the three of them as he slept.
Stretching his arms back, he recounted the events of last night. God, it really was only a few hours ago, he was so tired. Had this been last year, he would have been able to stay up for days on end and then just crash for an entire weekend. It wasn’t last year though and Techno had gotten himself into a fairly healthy routine, he couldn’t exactly be sleeping through his uni classes anyway.
“Alright you two” Hearing Philza’s voice, he propped his head up, “Get up, you can’t lay around all day”
A groan came from the mass of blankets and cushions that happened to be Wilbur, who was curled up in the centre of it,
“Phil it's so early and we went to bed so late. It’s fine to sleep in”
“Okay” he chuckled, humouring his tired friend “It’s midday Wil, im taking the blankets away now”
Techno thought it was much too early too, as he tugged the sleeves of Wilbur’s hoodie down a little further so they could act like gloves.
“Do you mind if I use your PC to try and find out what’s going on with my classes at some point? They'll probably send me an email or something” He grumbled, standing up so he could stretch his back out properly, following Phil slowly to the kitchen.
“That’s fine, it's up in my room, do what you need”
Breakfast was nice, it had been a while since Techno had had time for it honestly, and even longer since he had been able to eat with people he cared about. He had a couple slices of buttered toast and a bowl of some british cereal which he didn’t really like but he didn’t want to be rude so he ate it anyway.
“You wanna stream together later?” Wil asked through a mouth full of food, earning a snort from Phil. This was nice.
“Yeah maybe, you use face cam though, I’m not like against showing them my face but y'know, it is what it is” he shrugged, spooning another mouthful of his breakfast into his mouth, he had to admit it was very bland, he much preferred the sweeter ones that were more popular in America.
“Well think about it, if you decide you don't want them to see you, you can always just sit off to the side and I'll turn my monitor so you can still see it. My office is big enough for it anyway, it’ll be like where Niki was during that one MCC remember?”
Techno nodded and carried on eating, they really were 3 very sleepy boys right now. Maybe he’d take a nap once he found out what was going on with his classes.
------------------
------------------
Streaming without any gameplay to comment about and with facecam on? Techno wasn’t exactly looking forward to it. That just didn’t really sound like something he was going to enjoy.
It was nerve wracking and he always seemed to glance at the camera too much when it was pointed at him. He knew the fans would be disappointed if he didn’t do it though, When Wilbur tweeted out saying that he and Phil would join him in a ‘you laugh you lose’ he watched as the replies freaked out.
You could say he was just a bit camera shy, he wasn’t incredibly insecure, sure there were things he didn’t like that much but everyone had things like that, it just made him nervous to know that people were looking at him.
He’d be okay with his friend’s though, he trusted that they’d never put him in an uncomfortable situation. He knew if he got overwhelmed he could sit outside the frame.
It would be okay.
“Hey hey chat” Wilbur mumbled into the mic, making it loud enough so that everyone could hear but it still sounded like he was whispering.
“We’ve got the blade here, bet you weren’t expecting that huh chat? Or maybe you were, maybe you read the title of the stream, bet there’s someone watching who didn't think he’d be here though” he finally turned the music off and switched from his ‘starting soon’ screen to his regular camera.
Wil went through the rules, it was the normal stuff, he added in some jokes here and there, prodding Techno and Phil to talk at times. They’d already agreed that this wouldn’t be for youtube, since that seemed to add a bit too much pressure for Techno, but hey, he still had to welcome his chat.
“Okay!! First media share! Lets go”
After a series of videos, some funnier than others, Techno had started to loosen up a bit. He was getting more comfortable with the camera and while he’d probably cringe while looking back at the footage, at least he was having fun right now.
He had a warm feeling in his chest that wasn’t usually there when he was streaming alone, sure it was usually fun but nothing was better than being with his friends while doing it, there was really only one person who was missing.
As if on queue, chat started spamming Tommy’s name, for a moment Techno thought he had been mumbling his thoughts out loud, before he looked between Phil and Wilbur, who both seemed equally confused. Moving Wilbur’s mouse over the chat to pause it, Techno tried to read some of the messages.
“Oh he tweeted something” he mumbled, pulling his phone out of his pocket without a care. Maybe some irl streamers would have used the computer but knowing Wilbur’s history, he doubted it could run Chrome and streamlabs at the same time.
Looking at the tweet he felt a little pang of guilt. It was lighthearted and jokey but he knew there’d be a little truth to it. He nudged the other two and read it aloud to them.
‘Damn guess I’m not a sleepy boy after all’
The air felt a little thick after that, they hadn’t meant to exclude Tommy; all of the excitement of Techno coming to stay had just made it a little hard to arrange to have Tommy here after all.
Still, they probably should have still told him though. They were supposed to be each other's family.
“Hey chat I think we’re gonna have to end stream early.” Wilbur finally piped up, deciding it wouldn't be right to carry on when they had hurt their friend, not that chat needed to know that though, he didn’t want to embarrass Tommy.
“I feel kinda sick and I don't think you all wanna watch me vomit right? Yeah so it’s best we end it now”
Techno sniggered to himself at that, in games Wilbur always seemed to be very cunning but he supposed he wasn’t very good at lying when it was about something he actually cared about. Said something being Tommy.
After raiding Fundy, the trio hopped straight onto discord.
Tommy didn't answer the first time he was called.
Or the second.
Finally, after three calls, Tommy decided he’d talk to them.
“You are all a bunch of dick heads, you know that? What the hell! Why wasn’t I invited to the sleepy boy’s stream! Wilbur you bitch!” Through all the vulgar language and the constant yelling, it was clear that Tommy was genuinely upset.
He had every right to be, as far as Techno was concerned. From his point of view his friend’s had just gone off and hung out without him. He just hoped he’d calm down once they explained everything.
“You know I thought we were friends! I thought we were brothers! But if you don’t wanna hang out with a ‘kid’ you can just tell me and i’ll- i'll go!” He was still yelling, as usual, it was clear he was trying to make this into a joke where he could overreact but Techno noticed the small sniffles and the quiver in his voice.
By the looks on Phil’s and Wilbur’s faces, they recognised it too.
“Listen, Tommy”
Wil was the first to talk, it made sense, it seemed that Tommy trusted him the most at times. Sometimes Techno could be a bit too cold and sometimes Phil could get a bit too overbearing.
Techno understood this, he didn’t take it personally, he knew it was only natural that you have people you trust with your emotions more than others. It didn’t mean Tommy didn’t love them just as much, just that they weren’t his ‘go-to’ when he felt down.
Techno felt the same way sometimes. Feeling’s got complicated and personally he thought Phil was the best to talk to about that, the fact that he was older and had his life sorted out gave him a sense of comfort, like he could trust him because he knew what he was talking about.
“We didn’t plan a meetup, it just sorta happened. Phil was at my place, helping me record, and then Techno’s Uni had a fire and he needed a place to stay while they’re making it safe again” Wilbur sighed as he heard Tommy moving on the other side of his mic. Techno wondered what he was doing.
“We would have invited you, had we known that we’d all be in the same place Toms”
Phil took over, giving Wilbur a little sympathetic smile. The brunette so obviously felt guilty about the situation.
“But when we got the call from Tech’ it was past 3 in the morning and it was tipping it down with snow, as soon as we got home we all slept. We decided to do a stream this morning but never once did we intend to try and make you feel like you aren’t welcome with us”
Finally it was Techno’s turn to talk...Fuck.
He wasn’t exactly the most sentimental guy, he struggled to show his emotions and he just assumed everyone he cared for just knew that he cared for them. He rarely had to say it out loud. God okay. He just had to swallow his pride and go for it.
“Tommy you are a sleepy boy and you are our brother. We did kind of a dick move today and if I was you I’d probably be upset too. I know I didn't like seeing you guys playing without me during MCC and that wasn’t even any of our decisions. We should have called you or something. I know I kinda tease you a lot but that’s just how I show I like people. Listen Tommy if I didn’t care about you I wouldn’t be comfortable enough to make those kinds of jokes with you. It’s not funny if it’s hurting you though..”
Techno bit his lip, this wasn’t as hard as he had anticipated but it was coming out like word vomit.
“You’re young Tommy but you’re so talented. We love you”
There was some more rustling, it sounded like Tommy was wiping his eyes. Maybe the boy had expected a yelling match, only for it to turn out to be very emotional.
“I love you guys too.. If you ever exclude me ever again though I’m getting my vlog knife out”

Oh man, we have a lot to catch up on, don't we?
November/December Update
I wouldn't blame you if you forgot I streamed. It has really been a while. However, I have never stopped thinking about streaming. A lot has happened since I was able to stream regularly, not even in my life, but in the streaming world. Twitch's blunders making a lot of people consider or even straight up switch to YouTube and StreamLabs' fall from grace to name the two most notable events. I'll be addressing both here.
Where the hell have you been loca??
Literally just school. Lmao idk how to elaborate further. I just finished a couple of exams so I should definitely have free time, and I would start now, but given recent events I am in the middle of some technical changes behind the scenes.
What's planned?
Absolutely nothing is set in stone yet, but I have Winter holidays coming up which will grant me a lot more free time, so I'm definitely taking advantage of that, I have a few ideas for a marathon 👀. Also, my birthday is also in December so I am absolutely gonna do something for that, stay tuned!
Well... where are you gonna stream?
This is gonna be controversial, but I'm gonna stick with Twitch. A lot of this is down to me just despising how I can't close the app without Premium, which is something I do with Twitch all the time. Not only that, but raids are one of the coolest features of Twitch (not hate raids though of course, fuck hate raids), and on YouTube, I don't ever watch a specific streamer consistently enough to want to raid them (oh sorry, Live Redirect them). These two opinions are entirely subjective, I know, but I have yet to warm up to the idea. If more of the streamers I watch move to YouTube, I'll reconsider, but for now, I'm staying put. If its an issue, I can look into multistreaming, but that is a short term solution until I am absolute in my decision.
About you using SLOBS...
Gone. Uninstalled. Fuck StreamLabs. I installed it initially because Touch Portal was being a bitch when I was messing with network settings, and I didn't wanna pay for the Stream Deck app, and I just got sucked into the ecosystem. I am going back to my roots of OBS and StreamElements, and this time I'm a LOT more prepared. I realised that it might actually be viable to start using the designs I promised last update! With SLOBS, since overlays are on-device, I had to choose between 90% CPU utilisation or massive files too big for my HDD to read real time. I'll have to compress them a small bit (and I'm talking 1 or 2MB here) but it's looking a lot more realistic now.
I'm still in the moving stages right now. I just simply haven't had the time I want to dedicate to making the transition as thorough as possible, and it's a big proponent as to why I'm not streaming right now.
This went on longer than I expect it, but I think it's necessary. I'm not quitting streaming yet and I'm excited to bring more to you guys!

NEW YOUTUBE POST
After what seems like years!
More details under the mark about future uploads and missing videoes.
New Youtube Videos every Tuesday and Friday before Noon EST.
Twitch Streams every Friday starting at 5:45 PM EST to possibly 8:00 PM EST
You’ll probably notice some videos are missing that were previously uploaded. I took down my Tyranny videoes as it’s been a while, and I’d rather restart with a friend also with me, as I feel like it’s far more entertaining for two people to be reacting to it rather than one. Tyranny is a game that requires a lot of reading, decisions, and focus. The friend I wanna bring on board adores fresh new lore in any fantasy series, and as she has never played nor looked into Tyranny, everything will be a surprise to her. I look for the future uploads to be very interesting.
For right now my main uploads will consist of Neverwinter and ESO, but expect surprises sprinkled in every now and then. Streams are totally random, we will not know what we are streaming until Friday rolls around.
This is not just a Youtube Channel for myself. Every once in a while, there may be a few videos dropped from my husband of random games, like Dark Souls or Darkest Dungeons.
I do not know if Streams will be recorded and uploaded to our channel. It all depends on how Streamlabs runs during this month. If all is going smoothly, I’ll try to upload streams come next month.
I’m getting serious about my channel and Twitch again. I really hated taking a break, but had to for private reasons. But now I am back, Streamlabs has accepted my microphone once again, and so hopefully I can get on the ball with what I’ve always wanted to do.
And yes, that means the Psijic Storyline, because I’ve wanted to do that for a literal year now, and it’s gotten to me every day.
If you drop by, and like the videos, please remember to leave a Like and Subscribe! And check us out on Twitch at Twitch.tv/LittleGalerion!

Tips for beginner streamers!
As someone who has been around on twitch and seen various creators, I wanna share what I've seen and learned over the few years!
I am not a streamer myself but I hope this helps in anyway!
Now before we even getting into the tips and things, motivation is the number one requirement as well as the desire to be a content creator and hopefully putting out creative or entertaining content!
Now onto the tips:
1. An Icon or Banner is a definite requirement, this allows your new viewers sort of understand what type of theme you have going on and see your expressive displays!
2. Make sure you have a reliable streaming program, which for newbies I suggest streamlabs, or if not I recommend OBS as well.
3. Make panels for your channel!
here is my buddy finnixin's panels, simple but definitely creates an eye appealing view for info on his channel!
4. Decide what content you wanna make. Variety streamers are also an option as well!
5. This is optional, but maybe have a virtual persona for yourself planned, if you don't want your face recognized online. Persona's are the best way to characterize or express yourself!
6. To start streaming you don't need a fancy computer set up, it may be idealized but as long as your set up is functional you can start at anytime!
7. Link your Socials! Linking your social media on your channel, will help get your viewers to support you on multimedia platforms.
8. Audio Checking. Make sure you are more audible than the game you have up but having it equal so your viewers can be kept up with both sounds. Commentary must be heard if that's the type of channel you strive to be.
9. Bits aren't accessible till reaching affiliate!
10. Donations are a great way to support creators from the viewers, but never force or pressure donations. It's up to the viewer if they want to or not! <3
11. Stream overlays are visually good for streamers to have! But new streamers may not have access to them which is okay! You aren't obligated to have an overlay but maybe keep it as a goal to get! :D
12. Recruit Mods! Typically 3-4 are all that is needed for mods, but this ensures viewer comfort and avoiding toxic behavior of trolls and spam links. You can recruit trusted individuals or even mutuals, but make sure it's someone who can be counted on.
13. Make sure to have set rules for your new viewers and returning viewers to follow. This ensures your comfort boundaries and regulation. You are a human too and your viewers will need that check in on behavior rules!
This was all I could think of at the moment! I hope this helps, and maybe I'll make a part two with links and stuff to get streamers kickstarted with some cool gadgets and things they can use to bump up their streams!
Thank you for reading!

How do you stream on Twitch? I’m new to it and wanna see how it works but I suck at computer stuff.
(First of all I’m so sorry this is answered late! I haven’t seen anything in my inbox until now ;;;)
There’s several different ways to stream! I’m using streamlabs, which is really easy to use and there’s a ton of tutorials out there if you have any trouble. You just download the streaming program of choice and connect your twitch account. Then it’s just a matter of opening what you’re gonna stream and hit “go live”.
Now there’s A LOT of settings you can mess with and the whole layout can be whatever you want but if you’re just starting up there’s really no need to know all of that. Again if you just google “twitch beginner tutorial” there’s many good videos to help you out!
If you do have any problems I can try to help you but I’m still pretty new to this so I can’t promise I know the answer ^^’’

What’s your streaming setup? I’ve been thinking of streaming for awhile but don’t really know where to start
ooo my setup is pretty slapdash so im not sure if id recommend it for someone else per se but i have an audio technica at2020 mic that i route thru a focusrite scarlett 2i2 for my audio setup. i actually picked these out for recording music more than streaming but it’s been working p well! i’d just make sure you have a good stand for the mic. i had a monoprice one that iirc came with it and it kinda sucked,
for my streaming program i’ve mostly used OBS studio but when i used twitch recently i used Streamlabs OBS for the integrated chat overlay. both have worked well for me but streamlabs is specifically marketed and optimized for proffessional streamers and has several pro subscription options for ppl who wanna customize their stream layouts
uhhh hope that helps a lil with getting your footing! i’d recommend looking around some more before making any purchasing decisions, especially if you’re trying to do so regularly ouob i have no idea what im doing.

TURNT ON TUESDAY ft. Lucati 2 Hour Live DJ Set on Twitch, By Courtney
Basic details: I found this stream on EDMtrain, and the link lead me to a Twitch livestream from Wax Motif. I recognized Wax Motif trending on the music page of Twitch before, but I realized that Lucati would be doing a set as a featured DJ for two hours before the Wax Motif as the headliner went on. The livestream began at 6:30 PDT on Tuesday, May 25, (the artists are based in Los Angeles), and immediately, the chat box was inundated with hype messages for Lucati. I learned later that a few days before the livestream, both Wax Motif and Lucati posted about the event daily on their Twitter and Instagram, encouraging the “Wax Gang” to show some love. The house lovers came in droves, reaching a max of 205 live listeners and 14,468 total views in the two hours I watched.
Visual Experience: Lucati never stops energetically swaying side to side and bobbing up and down. Even when he takes a break to sip a drink or hit a vape, he’s always in the zone. He frequently places headphones up on his forehead like a headband as part of his personal style. He also adds some dances moves to spice things up. Lucati has a tropical aesthetic, complete with a colorful tribal-patterned shirt with some buttons undone and a silver chain. Behind him is a green screen that’s displaying the background of a lively Japanese street flooded with neon lights, which meshes well with geometric, futuristic graphics that move in sync with the music. When a new listener subscribes, their username appears on the screen along with a graphic of Wax Motif saying “Wassup,” which is a nice nod to the fans.

Sonic Experience: Lucati’s sound is a phenomenal mix of tech house, deep techno, that sounds simple and also sensual. It’s Chicago House with some Latin influences. Notable tracks were Make a Move by Max Chapman & ThreeSix (a remix of Brandy’s I Wanna Be Down) to Streety by Blackchild ITA, Lucati aims for something eclectic in his house music. I accessed the stream through Twitch on my computer, but many people were listening on mobile. Sound quality, above all other elements, has contributed greatly towards the feeling of liveness because it allows listeners who enjoy listening to house music at home an outlet that only diminishes the partying aspect. All of my senses would be stimulated during a live set in a physical environment, but the listening experience for me in a virtual environment is purely through my eyes and ears.
Technology: It’s fun to tune in to a high-profile DJ stream because I’m able to witness a production that experiences virtually zero lags or technical difficulties. The sound is noticeably very clear through my speakers, which makes me feel more involved and invested in the music itself, compared to the club, in which I would feel more focused on how the beat feels and how the sound vibrates. Lucati is using Wax’s equipment, a Pioneer DJ professional DJ system, which he is somewhat unfamiliar with, so he remarks that he feels like he’s “driving a stick shift with eyes closed.” The Twitch platform is really interesting because below the video, there is a space for streamers to plug their various links. Wax Motif advertises his Streamlabs for tips, his shop, his music on Spotify, his Twitter and Instagram, and a Discord server for Wax Gang fans to connect. When there is a spike in subscription activity on the channel, the Hype Train is activated, and Lucati focuses his efforts in the chat to work with this mechanism in Twitch to gain more buzz for the stream.
Social Experience: Lucati often interjects his mix with shout-outs to new subscribers and listeners who buy subscriptions for other fans. There’s a leaderboard of the Weekly Top Gifters that allow people to gift subs for $5 to the community. All the activity regarding subscriptions and payment is highlighted in the chat, and much of the social interaction is centered around maintaining the Hype Train. Users comment “Choo Choo,” and “Pew pew pew,” along with repeating the usernames of listeners who made big donations as a sign of thanks. Wax Motif has his own emoticons for fans to comment in the chat with, and they end up spamming these emoticons with an energy I haven’t seen on other streams. Lucati frequently comments on how “crazy” the chat is and how much fun he’s having. “Let me see some hearts if you’re a good person.” He ends up having nicknames like “Bugatti Lucati” or “Illumicati.”
