Important Context im a usamerican that has been watching movies in theaters since i was like 2 or 3 and despite having lived through the death of reel to reel films to digital film reels (which are physically non-existent and are just files), the only intermissions i ever got were like. when i went to my local drive-in theater & sat through two back-to-back showings, which necessitated the need For an intermission. to go piss or shit, grab snacks, or leave if ya dont wanna watch the next movie.

i never had indoor theater intermissions, with the exceptions of like. musicals or plays i've seen. so may i ask. are intermissions still a thing in british movie theaters Today or are they just like Dead dead like they are to Most of the world

anyways what do you mean british cinemas in the 80s & 90s had intermissions between their previews & films??? is that still a thing today???
