there are however some things that differ from Twitter to Tumblr and so we have some different rules and behaviour then you might be used to!! I'm gonna try to explain them to you in this post! everything is below the tab!

reblog reblog reblog!!! likes do absolutely nothing, and your blog 'aestetic' in reblogs doesn't really matter unless you're a specific aesthetic blog, reblog are the way people see the content. likes are private! so remember to reblog the stuff you see and like!

DO NOT STEAL GIFS/GRAPHICS I WILL COME AFTER YOU!!! always ask if you can use a gif an then ALWAYS CREDIT properly

shipping is, prevalent. shipping even rpf is ingrained into tumblrs culture on every side of it if you dont like it thats a you thing, you can 'blacklist' tags so just add 'rpf' or the shipnames to them and you should be good!

continuing with that idea, curate your own experience is the most important thing on this site, blocking and blacklisting is normal and very much allowed and welcomed. almost no one is going to change how they do or act around here for one person, just unfollow or blacklist.

but do NOT put long posts or x reader fics, anything in the main tag without putting it under a 'read more' tab people will get annoyed by you

followers dont matter!!! no one CARESSS about basically anything this site is wonderfully anonymous and we can't see how many followers anyone has so genuinely no one gives a shit do whatever you want

remember to trigger tag and unlike twitter spell it out completely! so when a crash happens or is talked about make sure to tag it 'tw crash' even with reblogs!! also remember to tag when you're being negative about a driver as 'anti *insert first name*' never do full name then it will show up in their tags which defeats the purpose of anti tagging.

adding to that, use tags! they're one of the best tumblr features its free to be overenthusiastic and excited in the tags BUT the blog you can reblog it from AND the op can also read those tags so keep that in mind!!

be nice! this shud be a given, be nice, let people do their thing and vibe, just support people and block when u you dont vibe with them! when you do wanna send hate asks do it off anon, dont be shy do it on main

i really headcanon one of the best dynamics to have with him is a play/challenge type relationship with him where you guys share the same sense of humor and both a lil morally ambigious.

like y'all are constantly playfully dragging each other. i know this is already part of his "asshole front" of a personality but what surprises him is when you can not only take it but dish it right back.

example, toji is huge with a high metabolism so he eats alot, a party size bag of chips is like a snack to him. he also doesn't wanna share (greedy). so you def gonna say "oooo BIIIIIG!" when he flops down next to you on the couch prompting a grunt from him and him nudging the bag towards you with a slight dust of red on his cheeks.

oh speaking of lying on the sofa, i imagine you come home to see him laid out dozing and so you get comfy and instead of making him scooch over just light on top of him. either his stomach or back but usually he sleeps on his stomach so you are on his back, curling up on his broad back like a kitten. and he just grumbles a bit in his sleep and although he will never admit it he loves being the "little spoon" in these occasions.

also he is taken aback when you say you want to go with him to the boat races. after you nag a bit, he'll take you, thinking you will hate it. you love it, you're actually good at gambling, unlike him. and you actually win money. so now every time he gambles for ANYTHING, pachinko, lottery, cards, etc, hes texting you asking what you think since ur "his good luck charm".

i imagine for vacation "cause he never takes you anywhere" he'll take you to vegas, and y'all will scam harder than bonnie and clyde. y'all on the blacklist from every major casino by the time the weekend is over. but y'all up like $2 million USD.

Toji loves you because he can have fun with you and on a certain level he thinks you might be crazier than him. If he's telling you he's not sure if thats such a good idea and is the voice of reason then you KNOW you went to far lmfaooo.

heyo! so long story short i'm still around, i'm still writing tfic, i'm still lurking in the community. i have a backlog of posts in my drafts to reblog, which would normally mean i'd do a reblog dump, but i actually think i'm gonna switch it up for a bit and start actually using the queue! that way i don't have to somehow find the energy to sit down and go through about 100 posts, tagging each of them individually, before i feel like i can reblog any of them.

I was always kinda under the impression that tagging things was better so people can block the tags for topics they don't like, but now that I see how flooded my favorite one piece tags are I never wanna do that again. Sorry for contributing to the spam!

it still is, in my opinion! thats a huge part of the reason why i try to tag everything i post, aside from like... general indexing purposes. tagging content helps keep the dash clean for people with rigorous blacklist/filtering setups (like me). it makes complete sense to tag things that are character/ship/etc. content (<- i hate that word but you know what i mean; art, writing, jokes, meta, etc.) or community posts (questions, calls for fics/art, commission announcements, etc.), both reblogs that dont show up in the tags and especially original posts that do--because the latter is, like, what the tags are for.

what irks me are like... tangentially-related original posts that people tag for exposure. personal posts that dont have anything specifically to do with the character/ship, but get tagged anyway even if theres something implied or if op likes it. or people just straight up including things that are... unrelated? its hard to articulate without being specific but im trying to avoid that, but... like, people who follow your blog know what youre into, so thats the audience youre posting for... u dont have to blast small-scale/personal text posts (in my opinion) because the people who you want to see it will already see it by virtue of following you. thats your house. i dont open my windows and yell about where im parking to my whole neighborhood... we share the street... theyre right there... u know.

I think you should be allowed to be honest about your career choices and to express your disappointment, while yes you should be gracious about the opportunities given to you that shouldnt mean you cant honestly reflect on that expereince and have some regrets and be able to express that, l

John boyega point is a moot point, john was right to be able to voice his opinion, however he was blacklisted and treated so poorly b/c of anti-blackness that is a persistent problem within the industry, him choosing to go against the industry by choosing to express his dismay at how his character was handled in starwars and a racist fandom that feels like actors should be thankful to even be part of a universe and should shut up and be quiet.

This industry would rather have its actors be apolitical, voiceless and follow the industry like mindless zombies and when an actor particularly POC cross that line they get punished . I think actors should be honest about their experience, without undermining the amount of work that goes into making the film. Like get this respectability politics out of here, like voice your opinion and express how you feel about your films. Actors should be honest and the real culprit is the anti blackness, racism and white supremacy that exists within the industry, to the point that if a black actor or any POC says anything they are blacklisted and silenced.

Re: Being honest about your previous work...

Nobody said that Actors can't be honest about their previous work. There's nothing wrong with that. But I think some people forget that Hollywood is still at the end of the day a BUSINESS.

Think about your own job. Nobody wants a whiny little complainer baby who's always fussing 24/7 about what they should be getting or what work they should be having, especially when they've only been in the company less than most people.

It's one thing if Leo DiCaprio is talking about some old roles he did that may not have suited him because he's already an A-list actor who has proven himself over the years and he is simply reflecting back on some career mistakes..

The problem that I'm seeing with JE is that he's still VERY VERY NEW to the HW industry, but already he's been complaining for YEARS (not just once or twice!) about how he wants certain roles, or how he hated some roles he did in the past (ironically, the very role that made him famous 🙄), and it just comes off as being very arrogant, unappreciative, entitled, and whiny. 🥴

It's one thing to say: "I really appreciated how u was able to trust Sofia's vision for this film..."

Vs.

"This was the first time I've EVER been able to trust a director's direction on a filming project..."

Like what??? 🥴

Look, even if that's really how you feel deep down, it's just a very BAD look. And now, the previous directors you've worked with are all thinking to themselves: "Oh... well, gee thanks..." 😒

Again, JE has freedom of speech like most people, so I'm not saying he has no right to say what he's saying, I'm just pointing out that SOME of the things he says can come off as very dismissive, kind of arrogant, and almost downright RUDE. 🥴
