Feels like every two days a new person comes forth with more and more details on just how horribly bad the management was at Quackity studios. It's actually a miracle it lasted this long.

Anon it’s not just a feeling that new people are speaking up every few days it’s a fact 😭

Tho to be fair it’s not that we are learning about new bad things everytime, the issues are always the same (overwork, financial instability, short deadlines, terrible communication), it’s just that more and more people are confirming that they all experienced pretty much the same patterns of bad management.

Also I agree that even if Lea didn’t « open Pandora’s box » like op so pertinently called in their statement, the ticking time bomb would have exploded at some point or another anyway bc these conditions just aren’t sustainable

real question is why has tumblr started opening posts in a separate browser when i click 'view' on a post with blocked tags. i mean, it often does that with links to posts, but straight up taking you out of the app to view a post on your own dash? thats new

#some tags i have blocked are like #squicks where its fine if they come from some people bc i know its gonna just be a meme that vaguely touches on the subject #and from others i know its gonna be examining it in detail which i dont wanna see #so i click to view half the time #i also just like to have some warning before something sometimes #or the op tag spammed and its not actually about the thing i blacklisted #theres lots of reasons you might want to view a blocked post on ur dash #it happens fair often i dont think it should have to take u out of the app completely #shark talks #mostly im wondering if this is just a me problem

please please tag or at the very least label in your posts specific types of animals

tagging an otherwise unlabeled photo of a whip scorpion with 'arachnophobia' or the like does me absolutely Nothing because i won't block that/similar tags as it's way too vague and i LIKE seeing posts about most arachnids. its like labeling a picture of a bear as 'mammal' vague.

broad labels do nothing to prevent me seeing images of spindly legged horrors that will incite more dreams of plagues of harvestmen and 20ft legspan maneating monster creatures

#if youre going to bother to tag for content you think might upset someone please. be somewhat specific #i know the specific arachnids and other creatures that freak me out are essentially harmless i Know this.#it isnt about that #i have so so so many tags blocked and yet. theyve almost never helped bc nobody bothers to be specific #if u wanna be courteous to me specifically u can even just tag anything with legs 1.5x the length of the body or greater #as 'spindly'#i know theyre important animals and some ppl enjoy them and thats fantastic #what a great world we live in where something viscerally upsetting to me can bring joy to someone else #i appreciate them all intellectually i just do not ever want to see them #im sure a betta enthusiast terrified of sharks would be just as frustrated by the halfass attempt at cw for them by simply tagging for fish #and yes thats a dream i had the other day. harvestmen of normal sizes fuckign everywhere and one monster king size predatory one #and that just bc i saw Mention of them repeatedly in bug battle search results #not even seeing them
