Concept: A Limbo/Little Nightmares style indie horror game with a fragile child protagonist exploring a nightmare landscape, but all the monsters behave like parents playing hide and seek.

Their dialogue is incomprehensible but if you digitally remove the layers of Eldritch Distortion they're all saying stuff like "uh oh... there better not be any cute little humans in here!" "Is that human hiding behind the tree? I'd better slooooowly turn and loooook...."

So I've been playing a lot of No Man's Sky and I just discovered my new favorite creature. It's like fairy ogre. They hover around just over the ground with those tiny fast-beating wings. They predict the future. THEY DON'T HAVE BONES???

I named it a Flutterhulk.

I picked up Dragon Quest Builders 2 again, after… more than a year?? Yikes! Honestly I enjoy this game so much, it’s very chill and easy to lose yourself in, the characters and humor are really enjoyable (this is the first and only DQ game I’ve played; I can believe that’s how they all are, I just don’t have any experience w/ the franchise other than what I learn from Vi ^_^). The ONLY reason I stopped playing in the first place was because I knew it was something I could and would sink a TON of time into, and I really couldn’t afford to commit to that last summer. And then Digimon Survive happened, and it turns out I need looong breaks between 60+ hour JRPG-type games (which, alas, seem to be the only types of games I play these days!) XD

But I’m glad to be back into it! I’m glad I finally have the time and energy to dedicate to it! I’m through Furrowfield with a much-improved farm (compared to my playthrough of the demo), and I’m excited to experience more of the story, explore new islands, and build some fun things. Woohoo!!
