Fyodors finger tips gently run over the cover of your current sketch book, which laid on top of a desk in your shared bedroom. He picks up the sketchbook, flipping through the pages slowly before a certain page catches his eye, a page seemingly dedicated to just him. His normally cold and hard gaze softens a bit at the sight, some being full line art and color and others being simple messy doodles. His admiring is interrupted by the sound of the bathroom door opening. "Sweetheart what are you doing?". Your husband gently closes your sketchbook, setting it down onto the expensive hard work surface. "Just admiring your work my dear..."

Chuuya Nakahara

New art supplies? He's buying it. You want a new set of expensive as hell paint brushes? Pfft, pocket change.

If you even mention getting into a new form of art he's already handing you his credit card without another question.

You walk into Chuuya's at home office, not bothering to knock (not like he minds) "Chuuya, I finished that painting you wanted to see!" He slowly turns his chair around, a small smirk on his face, completely ignoring his task of sorting through files for now. "Let me see it babe". You turn the canvas around, showing him your paintwork you've spent a few weeks on. He stand from his seat, walking up to you and placing a gloved hand on your cheek, planting a loving kiss on the other. "It looks beautiful sweetheart, just like you. I'll be hanging it up." Chuuya had already started a small selection of your art that was displayed in fancy gold and silver frames over a fireplace, in the style as if they were million dollar paintings. To him they may as well be, to him your art is priceless. Your priceless.

Here you are, sitting on your boyfriend's back while he does sit ups. It was actually pretty normal at this point. The only sounds in the room was the huffs coming from Tecchuu throat and the sounds of pencil scratching against paper. "Hm...maybe I should draw you like this, it would be pretty good anatomy practice" you quickly sketch up some messy line art you can fix later, shifting slightly to show Tecchuu. "Huff Looks good" Despite the slight strain in his muscles he's able to respond pretty easily. I get up from your seat on his back, letting him get up with a groan before stretching his arms. Moving your pencil back to the paper, you continue to look from your boyfriend to the paper back and forth. "This is a bit better" you your sketch book around, it was just a simple sketch of his muscular figure but it was like fine art in his eyes. "You've been improving a lot haven't you?"

Vaughn Morozov

A hc of what I imagine him to be like.

Vaughn Morozov, the Pakhan's heir. The Gentleman of the Bratva. The Manipulator. The Mastermind.

He isnt necessarily silent and quiet but he doesn't talk much, either. He got the manners, the charm and the etiquette of what one would call the ideal man. He has the looks, the body, the height, the hair and the money. But above all he is responsible and a smart man.

He knows when and how to use his charm especially in terms of business to either get the deal done or to deceit. He knows and plans things so effortlessly well, its almost flawless. He is also 10 steps ahead of everyone. He is analytical and calculative. A Mastermind. He rules the game, the world and the people, and he would do it so easily that they won't even realise it.

He isnt known as the gentleman for no reason. He is respectful and straightforward. Unlike most of the ruthless men in the Bratva, who springs to brutal actions almost immediately, he is calm. He resorts to let the mind games play, he likes messing up the mentality of the people, because he understands that mental pain is possibly more cruel and painful than physical pain. He resorts to quietly finishing the job because he isnt a fan of showcasing his work to the people.

He is so eloquent with his words and works. He dont need to talk much to get people to his side. He is a man of his words but mostly a man of actions. He won't hesitate to strike when nobody is looking, he won't hesitate to manipulate and make things work out on his favour.

He is a smart man, he knows what strings to pull, what steps to take. And it all comes from being a logical thinker, it comes from having parents who are one of the most important figures in the Bratva, he knows he needs to be well aware of his surroundings in case trouble strikes. It comes from seeing situations through every looking glass. It comes from being a great born-leader.

He likes to keep the side of his street clean and that's very hard to maintain especially being in the mafia. But nobody knows what happens to people who has crossed him or his loved ones. You just know they have suffered gravely. He keeps his business private. Those who needs to know will know and that's it.

He drives. Really, really well. The Mercesdes-Benz, his parents got him for his 18th birthday is one of his prized possessions. He dont ask for much from his parents, he rarely does. Mostly because they have provided him with all that he needed. And it's because he doesn't want to leech off people, he doesn't want to ask things from anyone when he knows he is equally capable of being able to do things for himself.

When he is in the UK, he rides his bike, going for joy rides with them. Though he maybe the youngest, he is undoubtedly a brilliant and mature one. Sophisticated and intimidating, Vaughn enjoys his chase. But he also let's down his guard and takes in the fresh air of youth, he knows how to enjoy his life while learning not to be vulnerable in the eyes of the people.

He can cook, clean, fend for himself. He is self-sufficient and has learned from a young age that there is no other way to success other than hard work along with smart work.

He likes to read. He like to solve puzzles, play chess, watch crime documentaries and just solve anything that needs to be solved. Maybe that's boring for most but that's how he keeps his brain to actively work and think strategically.

He is also athletic, joining the school's sports team to keep himself physically fit. He may not be the best at it but he is above average, he plays football, basketball, tennis. Exceptionally great at ice hockey (according to my headcannon.)

Because he likes to keep himself updated with the people around him and the world, he knows many things about people. If he wants he can extract informations that people have tried their best to hide too.

He might even enlist in the military, just like his mom and dad and climb ranks, but he might not stay long to accomplish that, maybe for 2 or 3 years. Because he has other responsibilities. But he will be there for the experience and knowledge.

He is academically thriving as well. Taking up computer science, physics or any of the challenging STEM subjects, because like mentioned above he likes to keep his brain to actively work to find solutions.

He is without a doubt a great son and a great friend. He won't say it out loud but he will, for sure, be their for people who needs him. Be it for advise or just be there for them. He is a great companion to his dad, helping him with works, though his father never asks him to burden himself with such works at a young age. He is a great son to his mom, driving her to places, going shopping for anything, helping his mom around the house though they have people for that.

He is the type of son, whose parents need not worry about him doing the wrong thing or being in thr wrong place. They only worry about him over working himself. He likes to be in his best behaviour, be the best in what he do.

Overall, Vaughn Morozov, is a man, who obviously has his flaws but doesn't shy away from correcting himself and move forward to be better and stronger.

He made a cameo and im intrigued by him. But honestly, as much as I want to read about him judging by how RK has disappointed some(most) of her characters in their own books, I'm afraid she might do the same to Vaughn too. So in a way, it's better to leave him as he is, but at the same time he seems to be a character full of potential, to me at least.

"yourself. isn't that a wonderful person to be?" (i also dont remember where this quote is from). and also, i look at this little bastard and i think ah yes, he is a goddamn maniac. absolutely insane. i can make him as unhinged as possible and i think that's amazing.

i also think it's great that it's so easy for me to just do whatever i want with him like he's some dress up doll. i've got a genderbent version of him. i've got him with ADHD. i've got him with autism. i've got him trans. he's depressd. he has anxiety. he's in love. there's no saving him.

i also like that like. he's dead. he might not be dead. who fucking knows? and he's such an interesting character, is he evil, is he nice, does he care, what does he like? i want to know everything about him and i want to squish him like a little ball

KO/MANGO TALK LETS GO !! you're def right, he was forigven too soon, but i like to think or hope that they at least had a bit of bonding. okay well first off i want to start off with: i see a lot of content where we view mango as like around 20 years old which i want to immedately have on the table: what do you mean 20 years old. he's got a goddamn kid that seems to be maybe 8-10, he's got to be at least reaching 40 by the time we actually see him in AVM. and no, 40 is not too old, they can still do backflips and fight ppl (as long as mango maintained a healthy lifestyle with daily exercise, healthy diet, and good sleep).

i love the fact that he went evil because he lost his son, and that he got lost in his anger and started hurting everyone around him. although i do think his and purple's relationship could do with A LOTT of work. their trust was broken over and over again (mostly on purple's end) and im not sure mango particularily remembers how to treat a child well. and did mango ever like,,,yk,,,properly grieve for his son? for all we know, he went home the same day he lost gold, punched his wall a lot, then went straight to working on the staff. now that he doesn't have that drive anymore, i think that's all going to catch up to him. he really needs to properly grieve and mourn and recover before he goes about doing anything else.

he can, in fact however, be a good person/father as long as he's got that under the belt. (which you could def see that he was pretty swag when he still had gold). i personally see him as a raspy and gruff guy so he's also a man of very few words. that also means he probably has a buttload of communcation issues that is gonna affect his relationship with other people. he has got A LOT to work on

i also want to mention how i don't particulary enjoy the "overprotective father that trails their child everywhere". i don't think a lot of people view mano this way either, but i just want it on the table that even though mango would definitely be protective of purple, he won't be weird about it

6). ohhhh okay okay if you've read my fics you know i am in love with the "siblings victim & dark" as well as "siblings chosen and second". i feel like vic and dark are both insane and enable the worst, unhinged parts of each other. and then chosen and second are pretty much polar opposites with "doesn't say a word + yapper"

i also love it when CC treat red as like the youngest hyper sibling bc he really does give off that energy. also I AGREE WITH YOU purple and red together were so cute it was so unexpected but i love that

i also really really really want to see dark and purple interact with each other. mostly because they're probably the two most least likely characters to ever see each other. but i like the idea of dark terrorizing purple and it works because purple the whole time is like 'holy fuck this is that terrorist holy fuck shit oml'

Demon Bros Comfort Nuzzles

This is a fic solely dedicated to the headcanon that demons nuzzle to show affection. It all started with me seeing a post about affectionate nuzzles from caretaker and I then promptly had two thoughts: 1. What if demons nuzzle to show affection? And 2. I wanna write about Mel and Zel giving each other comfort nuzzles. So basically, it's gonna be a fic about times throughout the years when the brothers have done just that. It might be organized as a 6+1 fic, but it might also be more times than that, or just an "x times..." styled fic. I haven't decided yet. I guess it depends on how the inspiration goes. (That said, if anyone has any cute or angsty scenarios they wanna see, I'm all ears!)

Also, this hc has taken up permanent residence in my brain (along with the "Mel used to call Merlin 'kiddo'" and the demon thermoregulation hcs, and possibly also the demon heartbeat hc (see below)). So don't be surprised if affectionate demon nuzzled start showing up in my other fics too - especially from Mel, but also from Zel, and maybe even Ellie (having picked up the behavior from Mel).

Whumptober - Meliodas & The Boar Hat Regulars

This one is all your fault thanks to you actually, for getting me attached to the idea of the Boar Hat Regulars and their weird but caring relationship with Meliodas, and also for inspiring the plot of this fic. I was originally aiming to write it for Whumptober, but never got around to it (because of life and mental health and October doesn't like me and whatnot). The prompts for Day 15 were "Makeshift Bandages", "Suppressed Suffering", and "I'm fine" - which I decided went together perfectly for poor Mel, in a fic taking place during the 10 years of the Sins being split-up and framed.

Basically, Meliodas gets into some trouble (of yet-to-be-determined origin) and then decides to go on with his day as if nothing happened. He learns the hard way why running a tavern while actively bleeding is a bad idea. Our heroes of the story are going to be two regulars and one very confused/freaked out first-timer (possibly with some other patrons around too - I haven't decided on how big of a character group I wanna work with yet - oh and Hawk I guess).

Zel gets distracted by Mel's heartbeat and everything changes

I actually shared a bit about this one back in July. Unfortunately, I haven't made much progress since then - mostly because I'm not exactly sure how the plot is gonna progress from here. I had an idea, then changed my mind about part of it, then had a better idea, but forgot about it, and now I'm just trying to figure out where I want to take the fic.

Sometimes a story starts with a demon bros thought and some demon lore. - a note from the actual document lol. But yeah, this is a demon bros angst fic taking place, or at least starting off, during the fight between Mel and the 10C in Vaizel; then it goes canon-divergent (when and how is the thing I haven't decided on yet). The lore part comes in with the fact that demons can tell each others' heartbeat apart, and the heartbeat also changes subtly (but noticeably to a demon) depending on number of hearts and stuff.

Somewhere, somewhen, somehow since his last death, Meliodas lost a heart (not like ripped from his chest, but broken/damaged/not beating). So Zeldris ends up having an internal crisis during the Meliodas murder, over the fact that Meliodas' heartbeat (which he still knows by... well, heart(s)) has changed and the wrongness of it all and being faced with the reality that the big brother who had always felt invincible was in fact not that. This is what leads to the canon-divergence, because Zel can't just forget about it (which means "everything changes" either during the fight or sometime after it - again, to be determined).

A little sneak peek (even though I've shared it before because this post doesn't have any sneak peeks yet!):

It shouldn’t have been such a staggering thought. A demon only needed one heart to survive. Zeldris had grown up in war. He knew plenty of demons who had lost hearts. But at the same time, to him, his brother had always felt invincible. He’d led armies way older than himself. He’d turned every demon against him without fear. He still stood here after 3,000 years, opposing their father once again. Even like this, surrounded in a nine-to-one fight, the idea that Meliodas was just as vincible as the rest of them felt almost foreign to Zeldris.

Wrath of Light (You'll have to go through me)

This is one of my remaining Febuwhump stories (hoping to get them all done this year at least lol). It's for Day 23, and the prompt "You'll have to go though me" (so the actual title of the fic is just "Wrath of Light").

I've shared a little sneak peek about it before (here - I think you saw that one back when I posted it?), but here's some proper info: it's taking place in some undefined-timeline (Elizabeth has her full powers and memories, but there's still a war against the demons?), there's a big fight happening, and tbh our heroes are getting their butts kicked for the moment, Meliodas gets badly injured, and Elizabeth snaps. Or, in other words, she reminds everyone that while she mostly uses her goddess powers to heal, she is no less dangerous than the demons they fight. It's also from Hendrickson's perspective, which I thought was an interesting pov for this fic, given his history with the druids and their view on the goddesses and demons.

You could also summarize this fic in three words: Protective Badass Elizabeth.

Never before had Hendrickson truly considered the destructiveness of her power. He’d always seen it like the princess herself; bright and gentle. Before now, it had been healing. Offering miracles at death’s door. Saving soldiers in battle. Even after her true self had shown, even as the light proved lethal to demons, it had always felt safe. There was nothing gentle about the light surging from Elizabeth now. Hendrickson had only ever seen Meliodas' wrath when Elizabeth’s life was threatened. Never the reverse; not until now. Perhaps in the end, the two weren’t that different at all.

Count Fwhip: Varies day-to-day, could be a paci one day but not the next, and maybe one time that fuzzy blanket made him instantly baby space but this time he's just chilling and writing letters while cozied up with it.

Copper King: Finger paint! His favourite activity to do with Joel when they are small together (reminds me of what I'm doing for our art trade!) is use the mezelean dyes/paints to finger paint! They have lots of fun together.

Count Fwhip: Probably also finger paint just because his fine motor control is limited to building + redstone only, holding brushes does not cooporate with him when he's on the smaller end of the scale, so finger painting is better for him.

Arch. Pix: He likes brushes just because it's more control over what he's doing, and he likes to paint things for his friends and want's it to be as amazing and totally awesome and cool as possible

30🐱 Sleep In Crib Or With CG ~

Copper King: Preferably neither, haha! He likes to pretend he doesn't need to regress, and sleeps just fine in his adult bed thank you very much! But when he's a baby, probably with someone? Just for comfort, since he's a very stressed out little guy who just needs some cuddles and someone to rub his back while he falls asleep.

Count Fwhip: Neither too, but like he was to sleep near Gem, in the same area if not the same bed when he's small. She's his twin!! He loves her to death and just wants to sleep knowing she is near by.

Arch. Pix: Probably a crib, actually. I think he's the kinda kiddo to roll out of bed a lot, to the point where he's pretty good at catching himself, but when he's little his reaction time is slower and he's gotten a couple of bruises, and a spranged wrist, from doing it incorrectly/too slowly, so I think while not like a proper crib, he'd have gaurd rails on his bed (and they'd make him feel oh so small, like a little kid. He likes to drag his fingers across the bars and listen to the quiet noise of the wood, it's soothing.)

Goblands Fwhip: Crib! He's a little guy, and he likes to be small to fall asleep because it makes cuddling his stuffies feel much softer and nicer, but a normal bed is just uncomfy, he wants to feel protected, and a crib does that for him!

41🚀 Favorite Game ~

Copper King: Hide and seek! Or more specifically, hide and entertain himself for a while because other people are stressing him out. And it's a no talking game which is a bonus!

Count Fwhip: I think he likes to play games with Gem + Sausage, maybe tag or like doing tricks, that kind of stuff. Something active.

Arch. Pix: I think he'd still really enjoy hide and seek, but also scavenger hunts!! Or just finding things and showing them to people, he loves to just pick stuff up and stick it in his pockets because Joel/Fwhip/Scott/whoever would probably find it interesting and he'll see them at somepoint right?

Copper King -> Not really? Like there's a lot of magic so hypothetically yes, but when he's small he just... it's not on his mind? He has The Vigil/Death thing going on, so fairies are much of a strech, but he doesnt like... actively believe in them.

Count Fwhip: 100%, absolutely without a doubt, have you seen some of the empires with all their crazy plants? Only fairies could do that.

Arch. Pix -> When big sort of? He definitely believes/likes to believe in all kinds of stuff like that, both big and small. When he is little he'll build fairy houses in the froglight orchard. There's a fairy ring not to far from the catacombs, he always makes sure to avoid it.

Copper King -> He can psyche himself out of headspace if he gets too anxious about people needing things, or if someone is mean to him about something/teases him he can pull himself out because he no longer feels safe, even if the intial regression is involuntary, if he's too overwhelmed he can pull himself out. Also probably being around littles who are younger than him, since his brain wants to be a caregiver instead.

Count Fwhip: Probably not a lot, if he manages to properly regress, but when he's bouncing around probably loud noises/not feeling safe would pull him out of it sometimes (though sometimes it pushes him further in), and maybe being like... babied to much right out of the gate when he's feeling over would make him feel weird and like he'd pull himself out (although it could make him a baby, could go either way)

Arch. Pix -> Feeling awkward/out of place around certain people when he's regressed would pull him out of headspace.

Copper King + Count Fwhip: Pixandra + Grimlands -> I like the idea of Grimlands + Pixandrai being quite intertwined as two old empires on the fritz with one another, and that Pix and Fwhip both spent a lot of time at eachother's empires as children + growing up and both places are nostalgic to them. For Pix also Mezelea, just because I like to think that Joel would have been quite close to him as a child, as Pix was a ruler long before Joel was, so he helped him get everything in order when Joel was crowned king of mezelea, so specifically the mezelean palace is nostalgic for him

Arch. Pix + Gobland Fwhip: The Catacombs for Pix 100%, I think that when he first got established in the lands, he found a lot of comfort in the weighted, but peaceful, presence of the catacombs (also ghosts!) and it just feels safe for him, and it's nostalgic to retrace some of the first steps he took as an archaeologist in this land of empires for him. As for Fwhip, he definitely has lots of nooks and crannys in Gobland that he would escape to as a child, and the ones he can still squeeze himself into have a very nostalgic feeling for him.

Yeah and I think at this point everyone knows it!! Some of my headcanons for Ro are inspired by traits of mine, I guess? Also me making him AFAB trans genderqueer in modern times is kinda inspired by me, haha(although the way my gender works is different from my HCs for her). Some stuff that happen to him in my stories are also kind of inspired by myself, in a way? I mean, I kinda have an image in my head of how her childhood went, and in some ways I've made it similar to mine (although obviously it's pretty different too)

Well, not exactly? When I first discovered Hetalia, I did like Ro, but I focused on other characters a lot more. But I guess I always did.

Well... the fact that he's the personification of my country, I suppose? I also like his design a lot, and his personality.

Kinda?? I see him as being 24-26 physically in modern times, and almost 2000 years old in reality (i've got a post about my HCs for his age over the years linked in my pinned). I don't like it when people make him be born around the time Wallachia got founded, because I've already mentioned I see him as being far older.

In a way? While I do change the colour of Ro's hair (and his hair length sometimes as well), and the colour of her eyes, I do like his canon design. So I guess it matters?

I do enjoy seeing him interact with other characters and my OCs tho.

This isn't a trait represented in canon, and moreso a headcanon of mine, but I think it's maybe that despite it all the shit he went through, she never truly lost his rebellious attitude, and his hope for independence and freedom. Even if it made his life harder at times, he still tried to keep true to himself in a way, even if to survive she had to adapt and change a lot. He might have matured, but he's still a rebel at heart.

hello I loved your post abt Augustine being John’s grad school professor!! do you have any further thoughts/headcanons on the subject??

This ask made me SO happy!! :D Professor Augustine lives in my heart and I want nothing more than keep talking about it. I’m manifesting it!

(The original headcanon post was born from a vague idea that several people contributed to, so I'm going to @augustmourn and @gravitasmalfunction if they have Thoughts to add + anyone else who might see this... u know who you are)

Most of my thoughts around this backstory are just elaborate smut scenarios and pure Vibes, but some mostly sfw ideas:

NtN brings up specifically that Augustine’s contribution to the project was research in the use of glycerol as a cryopreservant, so I’ve decided that he had a background in biochem. John had an undergraduate background in biomedical sciences and did his PhD on something like cryopreservation of organs for transplants or something else in that wheelhouse, and that's how they ended up working together. John’s thesis advisor introduced them, maybe? Anyway, yhey absolutely hooked up straight away (props to tumblr user augustmourn and her 3rd meeting office blowjobs hc) and had a fwb thing going. If anyone caught feelings it was Augustine. He never had a chance.

I go back and forth on how big the age difference is, but probably in the 10 years range. Augustine was much better off financially (hedge fund brother and posh vibes vs. scholarships guy who played with hand-me-down toys as a kid) and he probably did stuff like always offering to pay for dinner in a very casual, no big deal, what-are-friends-for kinda way. Maybe in his head those were dates. The entire time John was getting his PhD he never dated anyone seriously, but Augustine had a semi serious relationship with someone else that almost progressed to engagement. At some point he told John that he and the current partner were exclusive, and was mildly disappointed when John was like "good for you mate!". The relationship didn’t last, but before it ended officially Augustine cheated on this partner with John at least once. They got drunk and fooled around, or something. (Alternatively: there was no serious almost engagement but there WAS a brief marriage in his late 20s that lasted like 2 years).

John did a fellowship abroad; they kept in touch and Augustine “occasionally” sent him emails with links to more local job opportunities that he “casually” stumbled on because he's just that good at networking that he always knows whatps going on. (The good at networking thing is true but he went looking for those). Also, I've decided that Mercy and Johh met as undergraduates and she met Augustine through him a few years later. He either tried to set them up, or they bonded by talking shit about him, or both.

A look at Playwright's design

This was meant to be an analysis but it became so unserious midway. And yes I'm using this whole thing as an excuse to tell everyone that Playwright wears high heels.

Some elaboration (may contain spoilers for IS2) :

1. didn't have any space for it but need to note that he has beauty marks!! two of them.

2. he often draws blood for his blood ink, so he's probably anemic further suggested by his pale complexion and premature gray hair.

3. the gap in his sleeve is probably to make drawing blood easier

4. the low blood volume from frequent blood draws causes low blood pressure. tight clothes help improve blood circulation

5. he covers up most of his body parts, so we can't tell if he has any visible scars or more importantly, oripathy crystal formations. he seems to be infected though, based on the relic descriptions

6. gloves makes it unclear if he has any scars, corns or calluses. someone who writes so often ought to have calluses. it could be that his gloves themselves are to prevent calluses. Personally, I think writing with gloves on is very difficult. props to him for always writing with gloves on

7. Black and white hair. I think this is either indicative of his cat breed, a sign of stress or anemia, a reference to the black cat in Poe's short story Black Cat, or all of the above. You can refer to my previous post to know more about Playwright and the Black Cat.

8. Ribbons. so many ribbons. boy why do you love ribbons so much. the ribbons are mostly blue and black, but there are other colours too. he also ties the longer parts of his hair with them.

Interestingly, having a lot of ribbons is a characteristic shared by Ms Christine, another character related to Phantom. in Ms Christine's case though, it was Phantom who gifted her all the ribbons. Could it be that Phantom also gifted the Playwright all these ribbons? or the other way around?

10. trademark small_ryuzaki's hypnotic eyes. among all small_ryuzaki characters we have, this is the most apparent with Cantabile and Erato. he also has eyebags, implying that he hadn't slept well in a good while.

9. High heels - probably a fancy formal wear, but I like to think otherwise. HC that Playwright wears high heels because he doesn’t want to look short when standing next to Phantom, a towering 185 cm pole. Imagine Rhythm in Literature EP but Playwright is ~15 cm shorter. Wouldn’t it be cute? I love this shortie.

Update: he wears high heels (and so do most other Troupe members other than Blood Diamond) because tragic actors wear buskins

11. Blue quill - The Writer's Tongue, a relic that foreshadowed the Playwright's death. he never lets go of it because he never stops writing. maybe when he finally achieves his vengeance, he'll be able to let go.

12. Blue accent - his design perfectly contrasts Blood Diamond's. I have been thinking, why the Blood Diamond outfit? why not Phantom's default outfit? This may be because the current default Phantom isn't the real Phantom, but rather a shell of who he used to be. To the narrative as a whole, "Phantom"'s character is meaningless without the troupe, so in order to fully grasp his character, you have to look at his identity within the troupe. "Blood Diamond" may be the troupe's puppet, but he's also their star.

There are other significance of the colour blue that I covered in this post.

13. "Tear of the Departed"

this relic that belongs to the dead/retired elite operator shares the same shade of blue, and similar themes to Playwright's: associations with fire and creation, and heroic qualities. I might be jumping the gun, but its an interesting food for thought

14. I actually don’t know anything about cat breed or British shorthair or whatever. He’ll always be a black cat shaped gremlin in my heart.

15. Glasses are really versatile. First, you can have glasses-wearing girls take them off and suddenly become beautiful, or have girls wearing glasses flashing those cute grins, or have girls stealing the protagonist's glasses and putting them on like, "Haha, got your glasses!" That's just way too cute! Also, boys with glasses! I really like when their glasses have that suspicious looking gleam, and it's amazing how it can look really cool or just be a joke. I really like how it can fulfill all those abstract needs. Being able to switch up the styles and colors of glasses based on your mood is a lot of fun too! It's actually so much fun! You have those half rim glasses, or the thick frame glasses, everything! It's like you're enjoying all these kinds of glasses at a buffet. I really want Phantom to try some on or Mouthpiece to try some on to replace his mask. We really need glasses to become a thing in the Crimson Troupe and start giving them away for free. Don't. You. Think. We. Really. Need. To. Officially. Give. Everyone. Glasses?

Viola&Formaggio HCs

Although it's described as “love at first sight”, Viola says her sudden attraction to Formaggio was like this: “I don't know what it was. When I laid eyes on him, I was bewitched. Something about him drew me in. Maybe it was the charisma he exude. Maybe it was something else. Although I was warned he was a womanizer, something inside me wanted to go anyway. My mind told me that he was impossible, that nothing would possibly come to fruition. Yet my legs moved anyway and before I knew it I was standing at the bar and talking to him.”

The only reason Formaggio and Viola were able to talk to each other on a somewhat regular basis (mostly text for a while) in the beginning was because he pitied and humored her. Her statement of: “Is it so wrong for a person – no, a human - to crave attention?” stood out to him and he sympathized. It was also a matter of playing a small game of cat and mouse. He could see the attraction she had for him and couldn't help but chase.

His sympathy was what made him offer his number so she had somebody to talk to.

In normal circumstances, especially with a girl that's introverted with piss poor social skills, a romantic relationship wouldn't be something that would bloom. The catalyst was the offering of his number.

While his phone number was the catalyst, what really built the relationship was a mix of Viola's knowledge of psychology, how well she could possibly read him, her instincts, her thoughtfulness, and her being her.

If they aren't chilling at each other's apartments or walking around town, the two of them will sometimes take a day trip to have some fun. He wants to show her more of Italy and for her to have fun.

He, alongside Anguria, help expand her palate when it comes to food. She's a picky eater so her roommate and him are always putting in the effort to make her try new things. The two of them also help her eat more regularly since she can forget to eat a meal or skip it in favor of doing something else.

7 times out of 10 he falls for the puppy dog eyes.

Formaggio spoils Viola rotten. One of his love languages is giving gifts and while he may not get all of them legally, he loves to give her things she eyes sometimes. Especially those ice cream sandwiches with the full sized cookies on the top and bottom. His eyes always light up when he sees her wearing or using something he got her.

His other love language is physical touch. It's a slight force of habit from when he was regularly taking women back to his apartment. More often than not it's just his quiet way of showing affection.

Without a doubt, she's the sap and he's the 'I'll never let myself get so sappy!'. He's also the type to, while he says they're just friends, he's helping wipe something off her face.

He loves to fluster/rile her up. And tease her relentlessly. He finds her flustered expression to be utterly adorable. He's also the only person who she's shown the most facial expressions to. Although she doesn't know it, she wears her heart on her sleeve when she's with him.

She's a practical joker and brat with him sometimes, just to get a reaction out of him. But it's always light-hearted. Although more often than not he finds a way to get her flustered after said little prank.

In the beginning of their relationship, there was a lot of sexual tension. They weren't together before, so anything they fantasized about each other before isn't off limits any more. However, because of the two's expectations of the other, a tension formed. Viola wanted him to be the one to take charge, initiate everything, and be a bit aggressive. Meanwhile Formaggio was expecting, like with all other girls he's toyed with, for her to chase after him desperately for his attention. Neither of them were mind readers, so they had to sit down and voice their thoughts.

He calls her a variety of nicknames, but his most common one is Vivi. Taken, obviously, from the first part of her name. She never lets anybody but him call her that. As for pet names, he often calls her Princess unironically.

Anguria and Viola have a video recording of Formaggio drunkenly singing 'Livin' La Vida Loca' at the bar they all go to. He doesn't know about this yet and Anguria plans to use it as blackmail at a later date to make him do something like pay for both of their drinks if they go out drinking.

If football is playing on the TV, she'll take her nap on the couch with her head on his lap. Depending on his mood he'll either pet her hair or leave it alone. There's been more than one instance where she fell asleep while he was petting her hair and she drooled a little on his pants.

She has him pavlov'd. She's conditioned him to react in certain ways to certain actions (ex wearing a specific perfume and it gets him physically excited because oh yeah I'm getting some tonight!!)

She loves to be a little minx towards him in public sometimes to rile him up. It's just another way of her being bratty. She knows he can't do anything to her while they're out walking and she loves seeing how riled up he is. To say the least, the second they get to a semi-private to private area he's pouncing her.

This man, without a fucking doubt, has a huge corruption kink for Viola. He wants to ruin and corrupt this girl.

“You know, I never see those two apart from each other” JB would talk with Donna while watching you and Steven both talk with each other (mostly you) and laughing gently slapping Stevens chest, they observed from the break room as she agrees with his statement. “10 pounds Steven confesses first.” JB smirked “I’m betting on Y/n” Donna glanced at JB before shaking hands.

‘How are you even going to confess to her? You’ll just walk up to her saying “oh I’ve loved you for the longest time now—“ give me a break! Let me take over I’m doing us BOTH a favor, you aren’t the only one who’s in love with her..’

Steven basically ignores Marc’s attempts to help Steven out, he thinks he can win your heart without the help of the bloody handsome American man. Still ticks Steven off, he ignores Marc completely when you enter the gift shop area “Steven!” You waddle your way to him with your gorgeous smile, Steven stared at you hypnotized by your eyes, smile, everything. “Steven, you alright ?” You snapped him out of reality before he quickly nods “uh huh, y-yeah sorry about that..” ‘look at her, she is too sweet for this place, let me take over and protect her like a real man.’ Steven rolls his eyes internally “ great! I was wondering if you wanted to go out and eat later?” Steven was extremely happy that he didn’t know how to respond, he only stood there with his mouth agape and eyes widened “uhh..uhh..” ‘you’ve gotta be shitting me.’

Bro Steven would absolutely lose it if you know about Marc, every time he takes control back Steven would get terrified and ask if Marc spoke with you not knowing what he’d tell you, it’s like your best friend in elementary school telling your crush you like them. Horrific. But eventually you find out yourself. Not in the best situation.

If you do go on the adventure to Cairo with Steven and Marc they’d watch you like a Hawk, when it’s Steven’s turn to take over he’d check if you’d have any injuries on you “are you alright?! Turn around, raise your hands up, tilt your head to the side, hop on one foot, hop on the other foot” he’d bombard you with ridiculous questions “Steven. I just tripped on a stick please, I’m alright” you pat his head to reassure him. I’m pretty sure Steven knows you are more than capable of handling yourself but still, human error still exists.

Now if you do get hurt Marc would immediately take over running towards your direction “hey hey hey, look at me, are you alright?” His American accent very noticeable you wipe your teary eyes looking back at Marc “it…it stings a lot.” No shit Sherlock you just got shot in the leg Marc quickly focused back onto you and not his thoughts as he tries to tend to your injury. Marc would hear Stevens sorrowful whines “oh bollocks, is she alright? Please please tell me she’ll be ok…” Stevens doe eyes glances at you then back at Marc. Maybe biting his nails and pacing back and forth.

Now if you are dating Steven it’ll just be extremely confusing, not that you’d mind (you better not) he just doesn’t open up that much to you, it’s not you it’s him. He just doesn’t know how to put it. It makes you upset but not at Steven, you’d get informed about everything from Marc and it’d soften your heart more for Steven “he doesn’t want to tell you because…well, he just is too embarrassed you’d think of him as not manly.” It made you laugh causing Steven to stiffen up in the mirror across from you and Marc on the nightstand. Before reassuring Steven he is still manlier than ever. Which made him puff his chest out a bit :p

Don’t get me started on when he is jealous, he cause you watching Star Wars and fan girling over your favorite character: Poe Dameron. He watches you as your eyes never left him, when he talks you look like you’re listening very intently “I don’t get why that lad is even alive still, they should kill him off…” this made you gasp whipping your head towards Steven “take that back! He is too sexy and gorgeous to die” Steven pouts slightly before muttering something under his breath “oh…I get it! You’re jealous huh??” Steven shook his head frantically “NUH UH!” It made you giggle before patting his head “you’ll always be my number one favorite.” Giving him a pat on the head and a forehead kiss.

I've been meaning to bug u more about yanderes As Is My Brand but I have SO MANY ideas banging around in my cavernous skull that I end up not being able to pick one and just rambling like a lunatic in my notes app. I will share a little bit about sea monster dazai since he was brought up, though: I've been considering two big things. 1) I remember a while ago reading that there is a belief that a mermaids kiss can allow you to breathe underwater, if dazai happens to learn about THAT little tidbit of information you KNOW hes gonna run away with it! or, swim away with it, rather. he has to test this new theory right away! come on, get in! he has ZERO ulterior motives for insisting you let him kiss you its JUST an experiment come on please? Please? or if we're going with the storyline where ur mad at him for such a frivolous reason as he attacked and tried to eat you (it was only gonna be a BITE! see, not so bad! its was all a misunderstanding pls come back...) it could be a little stunt on his end to get you to trust him again, etc. hed be a bit frustrated if the effect was only temporary, as this puts a wrench in his plan to take you down to his cave and keep you there forever, but the silver lining is now he can demand kisses from you every few hours and have an excuse as to why. 2) in most depictions of sea monsters I've seen, even ones that are mostly humanoid, theyre rather large! like, almost completely dwarfing pirate ships level large! can probably pick a human up with one hand large! there's even a scene in the little mermaid where Ursula gets that big, so do you think dazai would be able to do that? maybe he sticks to a manageable- but still rather Long thanks to the tail- size usually out of laziness and a desire to stick near the shallow shores (cuz he likes the food better, not cuz thats where his little darling lives. just a coincidence.) where there's less room for him to get to his full size. but once he's in the open ocean? ohhh boy.... maybe try to avoid going put too far on any boats, darling, lest dazai decides to start showing off.

i do hc eelzai (cute name btw) as being Huge. he can sort of 'elongate' his body when he needs it, but usually sticks to a length of around 10 feet. thing is, when he's underwater and darling is on the surface, they can't tell how big he actually is. relative to regular people, dazai does have larger hands, but it isn't to an alarming extent. it's pretty normal for something not-human to be bigger than an ordinary human, after all. i'd think it's easier to navigate this way, 'cos dragging around a long body isn't the most efficient way of getting around. there's no doubt in my mind he can definitely go bigger. pirate ship big? possibly, but he hasn't really tried to see how much he can grow. it's too much trouble, too easy for some pesky human to spot him. if darling wanted to see, though, he would entertain them without a thought.

THE KISS THING that's so cute actually but not so much in this context. eelzai hears about this from chuuya (aka the most reliable source of information in the seas) and immediately decides it is the perfect solution for all his problems. now he has an excuse to kiss darling all the time, and can keep them with him underwater where their annoying human companions won't bother them. in the 'darling is mad because dazai is insane and tries to attack them' timeline, dazai lures darling in with the promise of breathing underwater despite not knowing if the kiss theory holds any water. what if mermaids were referring to sirens, like chuuya, and not monsters like him? of course he doesn't tell darling this, opting to just lie through his teeth about how they can finally see all the pretty things under the sea up close. what did they mean, asking if he was telling the truth? does he look like a liar? would he risk darling's safety over a rumour? he's almost offended by their lack of trust in him.

fortunately for him, it does work. unfortunately for darling, it has a pretty short duration period. this means if they want to stay longer, they have to kiss him more. dazai thinks it's an amazing deal, of course. but if this happens to a darling who isn't very well acquainted with dazai yet, it's just terrifying to be dragged underwater and sloppily kissed and later dragged down deep by a large monster with too-sharp teeth and a dangerous look in his eyes.

dwavern holidays: discuss

bro loving the freedom and creativity this brings me

okay so dwarves all have their maker, Mahal, whose Aule right? im not fact checking right now so correct me if im wrong, but dwarves don't really treat their maker with a typical religious pursuit, its more like "oh yeah he's there he exists we go to him when we die ig" and thats that, theres no priests or religious rites or anything, so i assume their holidays aren't centered around him either.

also dwarves live a much longer time than humans do, so im also gonna assume that their bigger holidays aren't annual either. like maybe they're every 3 years or every 5 or 10 years, or they're in accordance with celestial shit. but the thing that gets me about celestial holidays is that dwarves are creatures that roam below the earth, the caverns and caves are their home, not the stars and the heavens, so holidays that come around every few years or so make more sense.

this brings the question of what exactly would dwarves celebrate then? we know canonically they have Durin's Day, an annual holiday that signals the start of the new year, however, i feel like besides new years, their holidays would be in accordance with the things dwarves value most. This includes smithing, crafting, mining, the riches of the earth, feats of strength, and value of close friends/family, greater than any treasure. Some dwarven holiday ideas i have are listed, with hc's around each of them.

Durin's Day- the dwarves new year. Not a huge holiday, but a nice short one, like one night of festivities. I feel that most celebrations would be more family/small group centered with this holiday, maybe a small feast and some form of dancing and music. This holiday is mostly focused on the improvements in development from one year into the next, and just a last way to celebrate before going into the depths of winter. The New Years was proclaimed by Durin the I, and has since been named in his honor.

The Fire Festival- this has been stewing in my mind for a while now. every 5 years, for two whole weeks, a huge display of dwarven craftsmanship and skill is celebrated and admired, with dwarves of all different crafts in relation to fire presenting stalls of their best works. We're talking smithies, glassblowers, candlemakers, you name it. Its a celebration of the fire that produces such great works of beauty. and the outfits... bro the outfits make this festival. everyone is decked out in reds, oranges, blacks, blues, and yellows, and positively dripping with gold and gems. the make up is usually charcoal or some sort of bright/shimmery pigment, and the hair is done in so many braids weaved with different ribbons and precious metals. fires are constantly lit, with one giant fire pit kept burning continuously throughout the entire festival, and fireworks are set off on the first and last days (we know dwarves can make fireworks from balin in the hobbit). the food is superb, with a lot of spicy main menu items and citrus and bold sweet fruits imported, and the dishes are prepared almost artfully. music and dancing play a huge part, and some dancers spend years leading up to the festival to try to capture the movements of the flame in their steps. its a bit like coachella except much much better.

Meragel (or feast of all feasts)- this whole holiday would probably occur every 25 years or so. It is, as the name implies, a feast to rival the gods. Like this is a week of feasting the whole community takes part in, and everyone eats at least the first meal together in a great hall or a large open space. A large array of meats, ales, wines, whiskey, breads, sweets, grains, root vegetables, spices, fruits, and cheeses are brought to the many many tables, and every group brings a dish (or several). This feast i feel, is explicitly a time for family and friends who love each other dearly to meet up and talk of their lives. people will travel many miles for an opportunity to connect with their loved ones again, and what better way to bond than over a delicious meal? side games and music are to be expected, though whether or not people will be able to dance depends on their ability to hold their liquor.

Rites of Strength- physical prowess and power are very important in dwarven culture, and this whole holiday is an event specifically for that. typical dwarven sports games (i wholeheartedly believe they'd have some version of rugby but as a rugby player im biased), lifting, wrestling, sparring, some form of rock/discus throwing, any shows of skill involving weaponry, and most importantly, a display for younger dwarves to prove their worth going into adulthood. I'm thinking this holiday would be around every 10 years, since that's a good window for older teens and young adults to be showing off their skills. One huge challenge is set up, with all the younglings competing against one another over the course of a moon cycle to become a champion (a new challenge is presented twice a week, and over the course of these challenges the number of competitors decreases based on skill alone, until there is one remaining). The prize for the youngling in the end is Honor and a Hefty purse of gold. Dwarves will travel to the nearest village/city of the head of one of the 7 dwarf families for the competitions, and while the challenges are ongoing it gives the adults and wee pebbles opportunities to have good rough fun with one another. also hc'ing that dís was the champion during her tournament.

Exhibition of the Sciences and Arts- dwarves have a deep love of creation and making sense of things, and science and art are so deeply intertwined that dwarves have a celebration for the two of them together. haven't thought about the time for this one, but possibly every 3 years? not sure. anyways, architecture plays a huge part in this festival (its probs the most perfect combination of the two fields, and we all know how dwarves love their geometric halls), as well as practices of logical medicine (throwing this in there but im thinking dwarves have logical medicine that they know for fool-proof physical healing and illogical medicine that is like groovy witch-craft reading signs and superstitious stuff), carving art, mathematics, acting, singing, writing, and so on so forth. its a knowledge share and a place where intellectuals feel most at home, and isn't so much a party as it is a nerd expo. super fascinating and interesting though, and a great place to find talented scientists and artists for commissions and job opportunities.

The Craft Trade- a huge market that comes along every two years where crafters display their wares for about 2-3 weeks, during the summer solstice. i feel like this would be a huge display for potters, weavers, quilters (i hc that quilters are widely respected in dwarven culture), textile merchants, tailors, cobblers, jewelry makers, spice traders, bakers, ect. its a mesmerizing and amazing place, perfect to trade and buy gifts. It's also considered good etiquette to bring food to the sellers, as dwarves are notoriously protective of their works, and they don't wish to risk leaving their stalls for too long during the day. a lot of pop up entertainment is around, from buskers to party tricks and games.

On Weddings, Birthdays, and More- Weddings are kind of a huge deal in dwarf culture, bcs you only marry if you find your One. there can be years of preparation going into a wedding, and while the actual ceremony and creation of the marriage contract (canonically, dwarves are obsessed with contracts) lasts only a day, the feast, even without the couple present, will last for a week at least. the families/friends of both parties are present and taking their well deserved break from preparations. On birthdays, the day of birth is most joyously celebrated. trusted friends and family are invited to celebrate the successful birth of another dwarf (its a long and rare process for dwarves to be born, celebration is almost a necessity) and the gifts presented to the child are spectacular, as well as the feast in the child's honor. Full birthday parties are held maybe every 30 or 50 years, and probably the largest party will be a dwarf's 100 and 200 year party. annually, not a whole lot of special emphasis is placed upon a birthday, maybe a favorite meal and small gifts given by your closest companions. afterall, when your lifespan is nearly 300 years, annual birthdays grow tiring.
