I really need to make some studies of your art at some point, I am drawing one of the characters made from one of your bases, and sketch them a bunch, in different poses, returning back to look at the base and access the proportions made me realize just how much anatomy was put into it, and how much i glanced over in my own sketches, even though that specific base was that simplified the lines that where made, where made with with the knowledge of the forms present there and how they respond to being squashed and stretched, you still draw them has if there was proper working anatomy underneath. I already though that it was so freaking impressive whenever i saw you in streams and sometimes getting straight into outlining the characters, it just kind of blows my mind that there was still so much more behind.

I genuinely agree with your take. It's true that the trauma Rayla experienced doesn't excuse her actions, but it deeply explains the reasoning behind it. And in a way, you see Amaya soften up after seeing herself in Rayla in terms of being stoic, strong, and lonely in handing things alone. She's opened up more. Callum refuses to let Rayla push him away, that everything they do and face, they do it together, accepting his help and leaning on him for support. Little by little, she's growing and maturing, and I'm proud of her. There's still a long way to go for her, but she will get there.

With all the time that all four of Rayla's parents have spent self-reflecting, whether in the coins or while being alone and self-isolated from the community over the last two years, I sincerely hope that it can transition to all five of them reconciling, healing and repairing their broken, fractured family. No doubt that all 4 of her parents are incredibly scarred, haunted, devastated, and extremely hurt by the failures and negligence committed. Imagine the uncontrollable, horrifying nightmares they must be having of Rayla, being tormented by her memory every night. Their hurt, pain, heartbreak, emotional/psychological torture, and suffering are perhaps far worse than we imagined. I wouldn't even know where to begin with addressing Moonfam's family issues. But they deserve to have their family again after all they've been through.

But Rayla also has a right to feel and express her anger, resentment, disdain, animosity, and even her rage towards all four of her parents for what they put her through. Let her say what she needs to say. Let Rayla be angry and messy.

Seeing people crap on arc two Rayla genuinely makes me sad. I don't think many people truly realize the depth of Rayla's isolation. What happened to all the characters in arc one was horrible (I am not down playing that), Callum and Ezran lost their father, and Soren lost his family, but they all had Katolis to go back to. Their home. Rayla lost EVERYTHING. She lost the assassins who she grew up with and trained her, she lost her home, and worst of all she lost her parents. She lost Runaan and Ethari in one go, only months after her parents. And all she had to remember them by was what they taught her. And they taught her self sacrifice, they taught her to do questionable things in the name of protection and the greater good. Viren threatened everything she loved which WAS Callum and Ezran, and she thought he was still alive. She was stuck in fight or flight mode, she was bathed in trauma. And she had a point in TTM, everyone was just moving on, and didn't take or let her have anytime to truly grieve. She was in such a dark place in TTM and it influenced her decisions. She knows she did something wrong, she knows she hurt Callum. She hasn't brought herself to apologize yet, but why did we stop treating her as human? (Or elf, as it were)

I got a chase of baby fever so allow me to ramble for a bit about genshin men being girldads

Neuvillette first of all already is a girl dad, but the addition of his biological daughter is welcomed! That child will have many melusines to play with and too look after her. He trusts they will ensure her wellbeing and he is right to do so! The melusines love their new friend!

Wriothesley would LOVE playing tea tome with his daughter. Perhaps he brews a actual tea for her (one that is uncaffeinated). Only problem is his butt is too big for the tiny chairs and tiny table but he will not let that stop him from being a better father than he ever had!

Ayato I can see letting his daughter rest on his lap as she looks over his work like she understands a single kanji on the page. (Fun fact kids love to mimic their parents) i think if he saw her pretending to be like him and setting up her own little area and pretending to review papers and sign stuff he’d struggle to compose himself

Thoma who’s daughter often follows him around on cleaning duty. She’s more than welcomed to go play but she likes to spend time with him, and hey he’s no complaining. Any time is a good time to learn how to clean after all. But he’s also aware of the fact that sometimes she will purposely make a mess just so they have something to clean together. He thinks its too cute to scold her for but he swears he will eventually

Zhongli is already so father coded its insane! Needless to say he’d be a excellent father! His patience is unmatched! Contrary to popular belief i don’t think he’d spoil her but he would if she’s good. Perhaps offering little contracts like ‘if you clean all the floors once a week for a month we’ll get you some new toys’. If failed he isn’t too harsh just a little stern and nothing more. Afterall they are just a wee baby. Cloud retainer is definitely their aunty tho. Imagine going to school and finding our your schoolmate goes to the fucking adepti for the holidays

Tartaglia is def the best for any wild child (good chance theyll be orange so high energy is almost guaranteed)! He is the spoiler kind (just look at teucer) and absolutely would love to spend time with them. I can just invision the first day he’s home on family leave and his daughter is tightly wrapped around his leg refusing to budge as he makes a show of how easily he can still lift his leg and making sound effects as they stomp over to the kitchen! He’d be very protective of her however, definitely only leaves the best and most trustworthy to watch over her when he isn’t there.

LOL youre so real. ok the ask was forever ago but i think toby trying to escape is cool. slendy can no longer directly control him, but maybe for a period of time, he cant get out of the woods without horrible symptoms? like the ONLY time he can experience pain is these awful aches when he gets too far

so bit by bit, every day he tries to get a little further. eventually he's in town, but he cant go to the big city without throwing up and crying in agony. so he sits and has to hope proxies aren't patrolling outside the forest, until the next day he can try another mile away. and every now and again, he has to do his little chase sequence cuz obviously theyll find him if it takes a week for him to get away.

i think it would really hurt kate, though. in my AU, toby is kate's best friend. the first person to care for her, wash her hair, bring her clothes, hold her when she's with skullsplitting migraines. slendy made her grave, tim and brian tried to bury her. but toby shows up and he's on his knees every night digging her corpse up with his bare hands. metaphorically, of course...

so for toby to tell her that they'll stick it out together, he's there now, she doesn't have to be alone with a monster that uses her and proxies that hate her - but then the second he gets the chance to run, he BOLTS?? not a goodbye, no warning, he just leaves kate there.

i think she'd be torn. toby deserves to get away, deserves to shake this curse - he's done more than enough for her at this point. she'd want him to go. but at the same time, the idea of him leaving her behind to rot and let the rainwater bury her body again fucking enrages her. who the hell does he think he is ? ? ? so whenever she's forced into the chaser, its a really weird fight between herself. she'd be slipping in and out of it, and kate's crying and begging toby to come back. but its a little too late for that by now . . .

chat i'm once again thinking abt how much i love the development of the emilia/subaru relationship. i just think they way they communicate with each other is so good.

both of them WANT to be together, they make that very clear. however their respective circumstances and traumas make that difficult at the moment, so they're kind of just hanging out. but everything is out in the open! they both know they like each other and wanna be together, but they're making the active choice to not act on it yet. given how fucked up they both are in the head... this is, like, remarkably healthy (and shows a lot of subaru's growth after feeling entitled! and emilia's growth in opening herself up to the idea that she could be loved!)

subaru constantly dotes on emilia, and its something she enjoys and feels comfort with. she feels like something is wrong when he doesnt (like in arc 6 w his amnesia). he tells her all the time that he loves her, expecting nothing back. shes not ready to commit to an "i love you," yet, but she's thankful to hear it, and she still wants to say it back someday. she outright says she can't marry anyone else because she's already chosen him! even if theyre not in a relationship, its like they're preparing for the day when they can be. they still both understand. and subaru is so patient with her about this now, he doesn't feel insecure about whether she likes him or not either. he knows! they both agreed to wait. they both know they're not fit for a real relationship but they're still committed to each other in this Just Hanging Out phase.

and from a writing standpoint i think this is GREAT because they can be a slow burn... and have open and honest communication about all their feelings for each other? thats so rare! literally no one is doing it like them. and i think their eventual relationship will have more payoff with less will they/won't they about the whole thing for it, imo. because 99% of the time w these kinds of stories, you know they will anyway, but what's cool here is that THEY also know they will.

i just think what they have going on is really cool and i love how it shows their growth. yes, its okay if theyre not "really" a fully romantic couple, that's too much for right now. but they can still be together in whatever way works for them, and slowly work their way into whatever comes next. they ARE working towards some kind of future together, but they're taking their time, testing the waters, and not settling into any specific roles just yet. just going with the flow, seeing how things turn out (especially w how hectic their lives are lol), but still undoubtedly loving each other (in emilia's case, even if she's not ready to commit to romantic love, you can't deny she loves subaru in a platonic way, or somewhere in-between).

its cool! its a cool dynamic that you dont get very often! but its also a very real one to me, they really feel like two troubled people just taking their time to figure stuff out with each other. not jumping into anything, but also preparing to eventually, and really communicating to make it work! that theyre both comfortable with how the other feels about them too, and easily settle into this nice peaceful dynamic they have in the meantime. theres no rush! they trust each other, and theyll get there.

when everyone gets away from dune, they go to stay with blade, and considering Both of descents missing sons just showed up on his doorstep obviously hes gonna contact her lol

i think it will take fire a Long time to be comfortable around her or even rivers, but im sure they'll get there eventually. he has a Lot of healing to do but i think with his family hes got a good support system. after the very scary experience they just survived, rivers and phrases decide that political work isnt what they want to be doing, and space has already known for a long time that theyd rather be doing Anything else but now they actually have a chance. fresh starts for everyone! theyll go through it together!

whimsys gonna come join them at some point too. i deny her staying with space in the off string au, so she can keep one of her siblings here

if he moves in w blade then he can be friends with wrench too. theyre similar ages, and ive been wanting to give wrench anything at all to do at any time lol. idk if you guys even remember wrench. its the yellow one here, it was in the comic where des goes to blades house

anyways. it will take a long time. but someday fire will be comfortable with his family again. it will take a lot of unlearning and a lot of patience and a lot of love but i like to think hes got that now

i love toto taking nico as an omega pet! i also love angst (w a happy ending) so here me out:

merc has been really pushing toto to take a pet, it would be good for his image, maybe hes been breaking one to many headphones this past month. even lewis has adopted little cowie valteri!! toto has to choose

so toto, with some pettiness, decides to take home nico: a peacock found in a trafficking ring who lost all his feathers and isnt as nice on the eye as other omegas (a little shabby, none of his scales in his arms, his hair is flat and not really shiny) he just need a little bit of care okay!!

and toto sees that, but he also wants to show merc that adopting a pet wont immediately fix his image (maybe hes bitter about something with the team, idk why hes doing all this lksksks)

so he brings nico home and the omega is sooo wary of him, but they start to get to know each other and they found so much peace in the other!! nico finds someone who can protect him, who saw him as more than a broken pet. toto can confide in nico, is so happy that he gets home to someone wainting for him. and nico starts growing his feathers back, his hair shines brighter than ever bc of the products toto aplies to it, hes so happy!!

but then, maybe nico meets lewis and lewis goes “toto, man, you told me you would choose an ugly one bc merc froged you to take a pet, this omega is gourgeous, yada yada yada” and nicos heart breaks, hes so confused bc he now relies on toto for everything! he cant be on his own, he would end up in a ring again, poor thing feels so betrayed

and toto would try to give him the world if that makes nico forgive him!!! it would take time, but eventually he would and theyll live happy ever after (or not?? maybe someone else takes care of nico!)

First of all Lewis having little cow Valtteri? Dying, that is so cute! Valtteri is so sweet abd very very affectionate and loves being gently scratched behind his ear!

Toto being pushed and pushed to take a pet, saying it will help him calm down but he hates how they insinuate that he must sleep with his pet to do so. Toto rescuing Nico from a trafficking ring, his file reads "Peacock Omega" but there is no signs of it, sparkles missing and tail hidden as Nico is embarassed of how bad it looks...

Nico being so wary of Toto st first, but he likes the room that Toto gives him and Toto is very kind and understanding! Nico slowly blossoming arounf Toto, feathers growing back slowly and Toto helps him brush the parts Nico can't reach. Toto sees him as human, whoch very few people have done around Nico before.

Toto finally taking Nico to the paddock when he is comfortable enough, Nico holding his hand tight but proudly showing off his feathers becsuse his owner is good to him. Lewis coming up and bing surprised cos didn't Toto say he was gonna get an "ugly" pet, something that wouldn't look great getting photographed with and Nico judt shrinks into himself,being so hurt because Toto didn't choose him adter all, just a "project" to make FIA angry...

Ot would take a long time for Toto to gain his full trust back, and pls Toto hates how Nico's feathers go dull and when he finds some around the house that have clearly fallen out!

Nico is so lonely and sad and maybe Toto gets a second pet Omega? Nico wants to be offended, feels replaced, bur Toto says its company for Nico so he doesn't have to be arounf Toto at all but doesn't have to be alone! Maybr kitty Max? So purry and sweet and loving cuddles with Nico!
