His gut twisted in fear and every nerve in his body told him to run, get out, escape. But this shouldn’t be new. It wasn’t like he hadn’t incurred the old man’s cold rage before. It’s just going to be like last time, and the time before that, and the other times that came before that.

How long has it been since he first tried to escape?

The elder grabbed him by the hem of his ragged old shirt, his grip slipped from the cold metal bars of the window. He felt the heat of the sun leave his skin as he let go, sinking into the floorboards, and taking one last look at the sky. The real one.

”Now… what should we do with you?” The fingers on the back of his neck grip harder, and he can faintly feel the bruises all over his body, the cold, wet, and dusty floor of the solitary confinement room, and the scrapes of the chain on his wrists.

If you could be any stickman who would it be?

Red, because he he loves animals and has three of my favorite Mobs as classmates. Having an animal and Mob affinity is cool. I think it’d be fun if you actually could be friends with Mobs (giving them food, trading, etc) in Minecraft instead of just ignoring them or running away.
