Sung Jin-Woo X F!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary:
You never asked to awake as a hunter, an A-Rank hunter nonetheless. You were pretty athletic and quick witted, but you had always hated fighting.
You wanted to live a normal life, one where you were just a teacher for a bunch of high schoolers. So yes, a lot of people criticize you after finding out that you were a high ranked mage who decided against entering dungeons – against fighting for society.
However, you are glad that you never gave a damn about people’s opinions about your life and didn’t change your mind, because now, facing this B, maybe A-rank monsters, you were sure that you made the right choice by not accepting the offers from the guilds back then.
Or, a story where you are a teacher at Sung Jin-Ah' school, when the dungeon break started inside the building.
(Spoilers from chapter 117 onwards)
(Sung Jin-Woo X F!Reader)

I hope you enjoy!^^
Tumblr media
You never asked to awake as a hunter, an A-Rank hunter nonetheless. You were pretty athletic and quick witted, but you had always hated fighting.
Scouts from various guilds reached you after your evaluation, asking you to join them, but you politely declined all offers saying that you already had something in mind. They all probably thought that you were waiting for a specific guild to contact you, but the truth was that…
“I want to be a teacher.” You told the chairman of Hunters Association, when he asked to have a meeting.
“Is that so?” The chairman, Go Gun-Hee, smiled understandingly at you.
“I…I know that people will judge me for my choice, but I have my reasons.”
“It’s okay, I won’t force you, Miss (L/n). I just want to let you know that there will always be a place for you here too, if you ever change your mind.”
This time you smiled.
“Thank you, but I don’t think that I will change my mind.”
You wanted to live a normal life, one where you were just a teacher for a bunch of high schoolers. So yes, a lot of people criticize you after finding out that you were a high ranked mage who decided against entering dungeons – against fighting for society.
“Don’t listen to them, (Y/n) Unnie!” Jin-Ah exclaimed once, when you told the young girl what had been happening around you. “You can do whatever you like! Who are these people to judge what you want, anyway?!”
“I mean…it’s just irritating…” You sighed. “Is it so wrong of me to want to be something that’s not a hunter?”
A hand patted your head, and you turned your head to look at your sweet boyfriend, who gave you an encouraging smile.
“No, you are not wrong.” Jin-Woo said, his voice calm and soft as always. “As long as this is the path that you decide for yourself, (Y/n).”
Your chest felt warm hearing those words, and you couldn’t hold back the small smile and the laugh that escaped your lips.
“Thank you.” You muttered, before kissing his cheek.
“Woah! Big words from someone who always lands at the hospital, Mister E-rank hunter…” Jin-Ah interrupted, provoking her older brother, who just rolled his eyes.
But of course, that was a conversation before Jin-Woo reawakened anyway.
However, you are glad that you never gave a damn about people’s opinions about your life and didn’t change your mind, because now, facing this B, maybe A-rank monsters, you were sure that you made the right choice by not accepting the offers.
People were screaming, the sound of doors and windows being broken were echoing around the whole school. The walls and floor were painted red – red with blood, the blood of your precious students –, and you hated that you couldn’t help everyone.
It was definitely a dungeon break, and of all places, it had to happen inside the school, a building holding more than 300 students.
You knew that some of them escaped, it was lunch break and a lot of students were probably having lunch outside when the problem started, but still, there were a lot still inside the classrooms, cafeteria and halls…and now…most of them were probably…
The green monster – an orc, if you remembered correctly – swung the ax towards you, and you blocked it with the sword that you had inside your space magic inventory.
Mages usually were the ones supporting a party from behind, but once depleted of mana, they were just like any other normal human, unable to protect themselves. But you never liked the idea of being helpless, so twice a week you trained kumdo under the supervision of Song Chi-Yu, who also awakened as a mage, but never left behind the martial arts.
You jumped, leaving some distance between you and the orc, and when it charged in your direction, you deflected the ax, using it as a step stone, and swung your sword, cutting off the monster head.
“Go! Go inside the classroom!” You yelled at some of your students who were still in the hall. “Put the tables and chairs at the door and make a barricade! I'm gonna buy you as much time as I can!”
You knew that it was useless, it was only you – an A-rank hunter without experience – against a crowd of orcs. These monsters would go through any barricade in just a second, but right now, any second that you could buy for these kids was precious.
“(Y/n) unnie!” Jin-Ah yelled by the door, when another orc came in your direction.
This time you used magic, an ice shard appeared in your hands, and at the next second it was stuck in the head of the orc, who fell lifeless to the ground.
“I said: Go inside, Jin-Ah!” You yelled again, eyes never leaving the opposite side of the hall, where more monsters were coming from.
“BUT!”
“This is an order from your teacher ! Go inside!”
“Come on, Jin-Ah!” Song-Yi pulled her friend inside and closed the door, making you sighed relieved that someone was there for the girl who you saw as your own sister.
Now…
There were a lot of monsters coming, and fighting in such a narrow space was difficult enough against only one orc, if they cornered you, it was game over. You didn’t have other choice.
The air in the hall got cold, ice shards started to appear around you…
I need to reduce the number of monsters, no matter what.
…and then a shadow, a black and blue shadow in the form of a bear suddenly showed up.
“...Tank…?” You muttered, (e/c) eyes wide with surprise.
The bear was smaller than you remembered, but it probably adapted its size to fit in the hall.
“Hah…” You almost laughed.
Your boyfriend surely was the best.
“Let's go, Tank!”
You were panting – tired of averting attacks and almost out of mana –, your vision was starting to swirl, black dots appearing here and there, and to make things worse, you were probably suffering from blood loss from the cut on your back.
Tank was a great help, but everytime that it got destroyed, it took a few moments to come back, and that was a disadvantage for your side.
How many orcs did you and Tank kill anyway? You didn’t know anymore, and it’s not like you were counting, but didn’t it have an end? No matter how many you pierced with ice shards or cut with your sword, those damn monsters keep coming.
You just took your eyes from the monsters for a second, just a second, and then, you were being thrown through the door of the classroom that you were trying to block. Your students yelled your name, when you hit the floor coughing and trying to pull some air in your lungs at the same time.
Jin-Ah came in your direction and helped you up, and then you felt how her hands were trembling. There was no need to look behind you to know that not only Jin-Ah, but all students, were more than terrified right now.
You took a deep breath, trying to calm down your panicking heart. Nothing good would come if you lose to your own anxiety.
“Stay behind me.” You muttered, pushing the girl to the back of the classroom.
You were all surrounded, and you didn’t know how much longer you could hold against the orcs. How long has it been since this horror movie started? Where was the Hunter Association? Where was the cavalry?
Two monsters charged, and you cut an arm of one with your sword, while Tank bit the head of the other one, but you didn’t have time to block the punch that came from another orc that came inside the room.
It hurted like hell – and you were sure that you had a broken rib or two –, however you didn’t have the time to stop, those creatures were going for your students.
“I’m right here, bastards!” You yelled, using your weapon to stand up, and sending ice shards immediately, piercing the monsters’ heads. “Don’t you dare lay a finger on my students!”
You crossed the classroom with an agility that you didn’t know you possessed – adrenaline , you thought – and cut the opponents as best as you could considering that your body was screaming in pain.
Then the thing that scared you the most happened. One orc passed through you and Tank, and raised the weapon at Jin-Ah’s direction.
No! No! No!
“JIN-AH!”
Suddenly, a red arm shot up from the shadows, grabbing the orc’s arm.
For a second you thought that you would pass out of relief, because of course your boyfriend would leave a guard, ‘ No, three guards.’ – you thought as other 2 red orcs appeared – for his baby sister.
“You could have shown up earlier!”
The red high orc looked at you with a confused expression before punching the enemy through the roof.
With Tank and the three high orcs' help, you thought that now you may have a chance to win and leave this situation, but then, a new figure came around the corner, bigger and more intimidating than the others.
You instinctively knew that he was the boss.
Great, just great.
It yelled and pointed the weapon that it was caring at you, and really, people didn’t have to understand monster language to know what it was saying.
He wanted you dead.
“Don’t worry, the feeling is mutual.” You said sarcastically, as a few ice shards flew at the boss's direction.
But well, a boss was a boss at the end of the day.
The shards fell to the ground, small pieces of ice scattered all around the floor.
That’s bad.
Even if you were a newbie – no experience at all –, if you had to fight just the boss, you may have stood a chance. However, after who knows how long killing and almost being killed by its minions, you were exhausted and now completely out of mana, that attack was the last one you could conjure.
With hands trembling, you pointed the sword at the boss, but one of Jin-Woo high orcs pushed you to the side, shaking it head, as if telling you to take a break.
Before you could say a word of protest, Jin-Ah and Song-Yi grabbed your arms and pulled you at the back of the class.
“Stop (Y/n) unnie.” Jin-ah’s voice was weak, tears threatening to fall any moment as she checked your injuries. “Stay here, please…”
You didn’t dare to speak – you didn’t even know if you had the strength to – so you just patted the girl’s head and hugged her with your other arm, (e/c) eyes never leaving the dungeon boss, who was yelling something at the direction of Jin-Woo’s shadows.
The green orcs attacked together this time, slashing the shadow soldiers with fury, never giving them a chance to regenerate. And when you least expected, the boss approached you and your students while the shadows were occupied with its soldiers.
Pushing Jin-Ah to Song-Yi, you immediately blocked the boss sword with your own.
What a brutal attack!
The sword felt impossibly heavy – or maybe the boss was just too strong. Or both. There was no way to tell. Your arms and back screamed in pain as the floor cracked beneath your feet, buckling under the pressure of the attack.
The boss was yelling again, red eyes not even looking at you, but at Jin-Ah.
You gritted your teeth – anger consuming your being – and pushed with all your strength the enemy's weapon, making him take a step back.
“Where are you looking at, your piece of shit?!” The insult left your mouth so naturally that you almost felt proud. If Jin-Woo was here, he would probably be surprised, but would still laugh at your words. The situation was fitting after all. “Your opponent is me!”
The boss growled at you, an animalistic sound that made you and all your students flinch, before it charged at you again – this time, it was looking properly at you.
So now, I am considered an enemy.
You leap to the side, narrowly dodging the attack, and raise your sword to strike –but the boss catches it, halting your movements. Before you can react, he swings his weapon at you once more. You didn’t have time to think, you let go of your sword and threw yourself to the ground to avoid the blade that would have cut you in half – the monster grunted loudly, probably irritated that you avoided certain death and crushed your sword using just his bare hands.
The students gasped horrified at the demonstration of strength, if the boss could break an A-Rank weapon with bare hands, they (and also you), didn’t want to think about what could happen if he got his hands on any of you.
Conjuring a second (and last) weapon from your magic space inventory – a dagger of all things –, you stared at the monster, analyzing its movements and waiting for an opening.
You never saw Jin-Woo fighting, but you knew that his chosen weapon was a dagger, if not, you were sure that he was just punching monsters inside the dungeons, however, one thing that you learned from him when fighting with a dagger, was that everything was a matter of timing.
“It doesn't matter if the opponent is a monster or a human.” Jin-Woo said once, while the two of you were preparing dinner. “There’s always an opening, an opportunity to strike.”
“Andddd you are telling me this because…?” You joked, pushing him with your hips.
“Well, you never know when you will need the knowledge.” He answered with a shrug.
I’m glad that I listened to his battle’s advice.
You didn’t have another choice if not dodge the attacks for now, you couldn’t risk breaking your dagger trying to stop the sword. You were smaller and faster than the boss, you need to use it in your favour.
An opening, you just need an opening. One second was enough.
And as if your prayers were heard, the boss slammed the sword in the ground trying to beat you, resulting in the sword getting stuck on the floor.
That’s my chance!
You charged at the dungeon boss, his right side open for an attack, all you needed to do was strike it on the neck and things would be over.
But you were naive.
“Ah, but remember that the higher the rank, the more intelligent they are, be it people or monsters.” Your black haired boyfriend warned.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean that not everyone plays fair.”
The monster smirked – Was that even possible? But it did look smug! – and when you realized what was happening, it was too late. You barely had the time to block the sword that surely wasn’t stuck at the floor at all.
You were sent flying, back at the hall, where you hit the already damaged walls. The air left your lungs, and for a second everything went black. Your body hit the floor, and the dagger that you were holding fell from your hands, you didn’t have the energy to hold it or to get up anymore. Something warm was running down your face, and the strong smell of iron invaded your nostrils.
You were bleeding…
Hah…great…
…and probably had a concussion.
Double great.
You closed your eyes for a moment, trying to focus, trying to make the world stop spinning, trying to hold back the urge to vomit, trying to regain any leftover energy to stand up, because you could hear your students screaming your name at the top of their lungs.
They need you.
Jin-Ah needed you.
Tears of frustration started to form in your eyes, no matter how much you were forcing your body to get up, it wasn’t responding to your wants.
Another scream, Song-Yi was screaming Jin-Ah’s name.
Please, please, get up!
But your legs and arms weren’t moving.
Get up! Get up!
From where you were, you couldn’t see what was happening inside the classroom, so your stupid brain was painting the worst scenarios.
Silence.
Oh God…please, no…
Suddenly the boss yelled, and at the same time you felt a big source of magic power approaching.
The whole building trembled, pieces of the roof falling to the ground. There was smoke coming from inside the classroom, and among the sounds coming from there, you heard his voice.
“You’re safe now.”
You wanted to cry, he came. Jin-Woo really came. And he arrived, shutting up the damn monsters.
“It’s alright now.”
“Oppa!”
Jin-Ah’s voice made you release a breath that you didn’t even realize that you were holding.
She is okay. Jin-Ah is safe.
“I’m sorry, I’m late…”
No…you’re not. You thought, closing your eyes.
“Is everyone okay?” He asked, and you were glad to hear your students' voices. “Where is (Y/n)?”
“In the hall! (Y/n) unnie, s-she's in the hall! T-That monster, it attacked her!”
The magical power in the air seemed to disappear for a moment, and then it came back with almost the double of force, it was so intense that you could feel it almost crushing you.
“Igris…take care of Jin-Ah.” His voice was controlled, and you knew that he was barely holding back his anger. “Everyone else, take the students and head down first.”
And now you could finally let your body relax. Jin-Woo would take care of things from here. You didn’t need to worry anymore.
Maybe the relief was so big that you lost consciousness for a moment, because when you realized what was happening again, you could see your boyfriend pressing the stupid dungeon boss on the wall by the neck.
Hah…
“Serves…you right…” You muttered, a smirk on your lips as you saw the desperate look on the orc’s face. The face of someone who was facing death itself.
Jin-Woo immediately made eye contact with you, his beautiful gray eyes getting wide as soon as he accessed your wounds, at least the visible ones.
“Thanks for coming…” You tried to smile, but no smile would make your boyfriend less worried now. And it was your impression, or it was getting hard to breathe? Did a rib punctured your lungs?
“(Y/n)...” It was so good to hear your name, even if it sounded strangled.
“Hey babe…” You greeted, coughing blood as soon as the words left your lips. You saw Jin-Woo make a move to let go of the orc, but you glared at him, daring your boyfriend to abandon his duty as a S-Rank to help her. “Don’t you dare let go of this bastard.”
“I need to treat you now.” He said, voice serious, but still stayed where he was.
You grunted, you couldn’t move a finger, so yes, maybe you were in need of medical attention, but looking around and seeing the…blood trail that the orcs left behind, you couldn’t care less about your condition.
“If you let go of this piece of shit…I’m going to break up with you, got it?!”
Who would have thought that mere words would make one of the strongest hunters in the world flinch?
“This is not the time to jok-”
“Because of this guy, my students are…they are…” You couldn’t say that word, and it made you more angry. “If you don’t want to be single by the next minute Sung Jin-Woo, do me a favor and give that…” You glared at the boss dungeon. “...hell.”
And with those words, you use all your energy. You heard your boyfriend call your name, but the world went black before you could mutter another word.
At least now, everything would be okay.
When you woke up, the white ceiling of a hospital room was staring back at you. The room was bright, the smell of antiseptic was pretty strong and you could hear the beeps of a heart monitor – your heart monitor, you were alive. There was also an IV drip on your arm – with (probably) a lot of pain killer –, and someone was holding your hand.
“Good morning.”
As you looked up, you were greeted by the expression of relief from your boyfriend.
“How are you feeling, (Y/n)?”
Like shit. You wanted to say, but you decided to entertain him.
“Like a truck just ran over me, and came back on reverse.” You answered. “Did you get the plate? I want to press charges.”
Jin-Woo arched an eyebrow, amused by your choice of words.
“Don’t worry, I already took care of it.”
You smiled and closed your eyes again, letting a relieved sigh escape your lips. It was really over.
“How is Jin-Ah? How are all the students?”
Jin-Woo seemed to stop to think for a moment, as if pondering what to say.
“And don’t lie.” You added.
“Jin-Ah is in this hospital as well, with a few bruises, but she is going to be okay, just like the other students that you saved.”
“Any other…survivors?” You asked, but Jin-Woo just closed his eyes and shook his head. “...Dammit…”
“You did what you could.” He interjected immediately, silencing the negative thoughts creeping into your mourning mind. “You’re not even a hunter, yet you stood your ground against A-Rank monsters alone. You should be proud, because without you, Jin-Ah and the others might not have made it out alive.”
There were a few tears ready to fall from your eyes, you were frustrated, angry and so sad, but somewhere in your brain, you knew that what your boyfriend was saying was also true. In the end you did what was possible in that situation, and you saved a few lives. So instead of using words, you just nodded, to let the man know that you understand what he was saying.
“But you really gave me a scare back there.” Jin-Woo said, his grip on your hand tightening. “Passing out after threatening to break up with me.”
You couldn’t hold back a snort. What kind of nonsense was this guy sputtering now? Drying the tears with the back of your other hand, you opened your eyes to take a look at the man beside your hospital bed.
“So, which one was scarier? Me passing out or the threat?”
“Both.” He deadpanned, but you knew that he was trying to light up the mood.
For a few moments you two didn’t say anything, but you knew that you needed to tell him a few things, for your and his well being.
“I…I’m sorry for scaring you.” You finally say, looking at his gray eyes. When he didn’t say a word, you decided to continue. “But back there, I was…I was so mad at that damn monster, at the whole situation, that I wanted you to end it before trying to come to me.”
“I know.” The man muttered, his thumb tracing circle patterns at the back of your hand.
“But next time, I promise to not threaten you.”
He frowned.
“There won’t be a next time.”
You smiled.
“I know, but even if it did happen, you would come again, I’m sure.”
“Of course.” He said, flicking your forehead. “Stupid.”
“Hey! What was that for?!” You exclaimed, with a hand massaging the place where you were hit.
“I’m glad that you are looking out for other people, but you should also take care of yourself!”
“It’s not like I didn’t try…” You muttered, because it was true. Who in their right mind would want to be at the brink of death?
“Try harder!”
“Says the guy who jumped inside gates as if going on a walk in the park before reawakening!”
This time Jin-Woo blushed embarrassed.
“T-this and that are different!”
“How so?!” You questioned, holding back a laugh. Your boyfriend was just too cute to mess with.
He sighed, before putting a hand on your face, caressing your cheek with his thumb. You leaned into the touch, closing your eyes, enjoying the quiet moment.
“Thank you for coming.” You muttered, happy with his strong and comforting presence beside you.
“You’re welcome.” Came the answer, way closer than you expected.
When you opened your eyes, you saw gray. They were staring at you intensely, trying to confirm if you were really there, if you were really okay, if you were really alive.
“I’m here.” You say.
“Yes, you are.” He answers.
And his lips met yours, as if confirming what his eyes were trying to tell him.
You were still here, by his side.
And he was there, by yours.

wc: 900+ words
a/n: thank you @deardevilradio for this adorable idea and sorry that it took a while to create it lol. but i hope you and everyone enjoy pt 2 of heart stealer! <3
Tumblr media
Today’s filming involves many actors and actresses on set, who act like the participants in the game and come together.
Plus, another child comes to their father’s work. Ha-neul’s little girl, Kang Min-hee, was brought by his wife to visit him and you volunteered to help take care of her. You are not only a set designer but also a nanny. Min-hee is a lovely toddler and is starting school soon. Despite being much older, she likes to play with Hwa-young.
“Appa!”
Min-hee’s sweet, high-pitched voice echoes through the studio when she sees Ha-neul talking to Si-wan. The people around her laughed because she was too adorable. Ha-neul smiles and waves at his daughter. The actor is dressed up as his character for the show and it’s amazing how Min-hee still recognizes him with long hair.
You go into the studio and Hwa-young is in your arms. “Darling, appa has to work soon. Let’s go hang out together.” You tell the toddler kindly yet firmly because the atmosphere will change once the cameras are recording. Min-hee understands you and happily skips away from the room. You giggle at her silliness because she cares about playing with her toys, eating food, and giving hugs.
Inside an empty makeup room is a mess. You aren’t complaining because Min-hee will clean up after herself and you know what to expect when having children around. There are coloring books, block sets, plushies, snacks to munch on, and blankets if anyone wants to nap. You came in prepared because you didn’t want them to get bored.
Min-hee and Hwa-young enjoy being great friends while you are on the couch, going through your phone. Ha-joon is in a different room, practicing his lines, which is understandable because he is a perfectionist and never likes to mess up. Just you and the kids trying to pass the time. So far, it’s been a chill work day unless you get called by the design team to fix something like the paint of the dormitory or broken pieces of a set.
After an hour of filming, the director lets everyone have a break.
You hear the door opening all lively from the main cast members and your husband. You also got elated when you saw Sung-hoon because he came in after you arrived. Min-hee beams and springs up to run to Ha-neul. “Appa! Let’s pway!” Her pronunciations are still not perfect but she knows a lot of words. Ha-neul’s face brightens and he bends down to catch her in his arms. “Yes! Appa can join you!” He exclaims. Once letting go of his daughter, he stands up and she drags him to the spot.
Hwa-young is doodling on a blank paper while the uncles and aunts gather around the little play zone. Ha-joon sits next to you and watches his baby do her thing. “How is it being a nanny?” He asked. You snickered because you weren’t expecting to have two jobs. You replied to your husband. “Fun. The girls are so cute when they share toys.” You’ve watched Min-hee help Hwa-young build a tower of blocks until it gets taller than them.
Ha-joon smiles mirthfully. “That’s nice. I wish I could be in your position.” He makes a pout which has you giggling. You gently caress his head. “Well, the people love Jun-ho so it wouldn’t be the same if you get replaced.” You stated the truth because you’ve seen how the fans react to the character. Ha-joon leans his head against your hand and stares at you with endearment. He is loving your touch. “You’re right. I just need another five hours of filming.” Ha-joon groans quietly and digs his nose into your palm. “Aww~” You cooed and understood his exhaustion.
“Wow, Hwa-young that’s a pretty sun.” Sung-hoon compliments the youngest child’s art—a splatter of yellow and spikes.
Ha-neul looks over Min-hee’s head, who is sitting on his lap and drawing too. “So beautiful! I wonder if she got her skills from omma.” He compliments the art as well and gives you a smirk. The cast members laugh at your playful eye-rolling.
Min-hee abruptly shoves her art to Ha-neul’s face. “Look, appa! Pweety?” She asked about her colorful flowers. He gingerly pushes the paper away and looks at it. “It is pretty. Omma would love it.” Ha-neul kindly comments.
Byung-hun then noticed something. He saw Min-hee staring at Hwa-young with a hint of jealousy when Ha-neul complimented the baby’s sun drawing. Byung-hun tells everyone, “I think someone wanted appa’s attention because he said something nice about her friend.” His statement made them shocked.
Jung-jae raised his brows. “How so hyung?” He questioned.
Byung-hun chuckled before speaking. “I have two kids and my son would get jealous whenever his sister gets more attention. He thinks Min-jung and I favor his sister.” He explained in brief. The youngest of the cast, Yu-ri, smiles at Ha-neul. “Oppa, I believe Min-hee doesn’t like your compliment on Hwa-young.” Her response astounds the man
Ha-neul turns Min-hee on his lap to face him and gives a small lecture. “Sweetie. Hwa-young is your friend and shouldn’t be upset if I say something nice to her. You both are amazing, but I don’t want you to think appa doesn’t love you. Okay?” He tries to make Min-hee comprehend the purpose of fairness.
Like a pure yet smart child, she acknowledged by hugging his neck. Ha-neul takes Min-hee into a tighter hug and kisses her head.
Baby Hwa-young looks up from her drawing to see the precious moment. She shifts her head to see her father has been here this whole time. She squealed which had the adults’ and toddler’s eyes on her. Hwa-young lifts her arms to Ha-joon.
“Someone also needs her appa’s touch.” You tell the love of your life to grab the little one. Ha-joon laughs merrily and reaches over to Hwa-young. The man gathers his baby into comforting arms.
Another thing Ha-joon hopes for Hwa-young is to not develop envy.

Watching BE made me think of Flower of Evil, hands down my favorite kdrama of the last 5 years.
I almost didn't check it out despite being a rabid Lee Jun Ki and Moon Chae Won fangirl because the set up of "police woman wife begins to suspect her seemingly perfect husband is a serial killer and a cat and mouse game begins" was not at all my thing - like it was either gonna be a woman in peril story or a cat and mouse between a killer and cop and neither is my thing at all. Why cast actors so known for their on-screen chemistry and emotional chops in this wondered I.
I checked it out expecting nothing and GOD IT OWNED ME BODY AND SOUL
Watching it unspoiled as it aired was a wild wild wild experience and I totally understand why the promos didn't tell more than they did even if it was misleading as hell about the ultimate story because it really placed the viewer in the position of Ji Won (and her gradual discovery of who her husband really is) AND Hyun Soo/Hee Sung who himself genuinely didn't even know what type of person he was either thanks to all the trauma and fucking with he had; and even the whole "well he acts off, he has to be shady and/or a killer" vibe of the initial narrative was a great choice because it really went into "well, you see why the world thinks he's like that; you did too" - it made you a culpable bystander of sorts - like you wouldn't have been any different than all the suspicious people if you were in the story.
Going from "well, he def acts like psychopath/serial killer" to "but a bunch of things don't really seem to fit into that paradigm, ummm" to "he fucking did nothing wrong ever other than being traumatized and possibly not neurotypical leave him the fuck alone" was a TRIP!
Also, God they are one of my fave drama OTPs of all time.

Kdramas i've watched this year
Some of these are older dramas but i'm a procrastinator
Black Knight (2023): Loved this one! I have watched it probably 5 times now. Kim Woobin kicking ass is all i need!
Under the Queen's Umbrella (2022): I didn't watch this when it aired (no idea why). I was worried that the plot would be overrun by romance but thankfully i was wrong. Loved Kim Hye-Soo's performance (i cried a little).
Island seasons 1 & 2 (2022-2023): Honestly i only started this one for Kim Nam-Gil. I loved the cast, but the flow of the plot was a little off (don't know how, i can't put a finger on it). Was positively suprised by Cha Eun-Woo's acting, i think he needs more roles like this! Hot villain alert no.1! Sung Joon as a bad guy is either a blessing or a curse. Cgi could have been better.
Taxi Driver season 2 (2023): Loved the first season so of course i had to watch the second one. Love Lee Je-Hoon. Love the main characters. Love the plot and the message of this drama. A masterpiece. Waiting for season 3.
Weak Hero Class 1 (2022): Only heard of this drama wayyy after it aired (thanks tiktok) and god does it deserve every award there is! I was a bit hesitant because Park Ji-Hoon was the main lead, but boy was i wrong because his talent got me speechless (weren't we all). I cried, i cheered, i shadowboxed, i cried a little more and in the end i called my therapist. Thankfully season 2 is coming.
Bloodhounds (2023): Woo Do-whan and Lee Sang-Yi in the same drama beating people up? Yes please! The plot wasn't mindblowing, but sometimes just simple ass kicking is enough. Bromance was bromancing. Park Sung-Woong with another great villain character.
Revenant (2023): After dropping Mr.Sunshine i wanted to see Kim Tae-ri in other dramas, so when this aired i gave it a go. Her range is phenomenal! I have only seen couple spookier dramas, so i made a mistake and watched this at night (slept with the lights on). The eerie vibes and plot twists were well made. Hong Kyung had great chemistry with Kim Tae-ri and his cop role was refreshing to see after his performance in Weak Hero Class (if you know you know).
Flower of Evil (2020): Okay, this is one of the dramas i procrastinated hard on. It's been sitting on my "have to watch" list since it aired and i'm the only one to blame (i hype up a drama in my mind, then don't want to watch it because now i'm afraid it doesn't go the way i think it does and then i get disappointed blaablaablaa). This year i finally got over myself and why. didn't. i. watch. it. sooner!!!! It is all i ever wanted in a kdrama. 1. serial killers 2. a psychopath (but is he really?) w/ an effed up childhood 3. mindgames 4. marriage problems (but has a lot of soft & cute scenes) 5. Lee Joon-Gi. Also as a plus (hot villain alert no.2) the bad guy is kindaa (i'm sane i swear). I would be lying if i didn't say that i found the wife slightly annoying (might be me, but she went too much back & forth and sometimes i had to take a breather while watching), but all in all this drama will be hard to top and i fell in love with Lee Joon-Gi.
Moving (2023): Honestly one of the best dramas of the year. I don't usually really go for plots that have a lot of romance in them (if you haven't noticed), but i found this one to be really well balanced and the romance scenes weren't "cringy". Although Bong-Seok and Hui-Soo were great and had great chemistry, i looooved the background stories of the parents. Park Hee-Soon also pops up as kind of a non-villain villain. I hope there is a season 2.
Song of the Bandits (2023): Kim Nam-Gil again. 1920s Korea and gunslingers... what more could i need? After Mr. Sunshine left me with a disappointment (this might be an unpopular opinion) i craved for a drama set around the same time period, but with a little less romance (i know, i am defective). I think dramas should explore this time period more, but i understand it might still be a touchy subject. The skills of the cast were obviously great, Kim Nam-Gil killed his role like always, but Lee Ho-Jung as Eon-Nyeon shined with her performance (i am now a new fan). Hot villain alert no.3! I have seen Lee Hyun-Wook in Remarriage & Desires and seeing him as a villain made me feel things. If there isn't a second season i will cry.
The Killing Vote (2023): A "serial killer" in a dog mask making the public vote on punishing criminals and everyone suspects each other? Cyber crime? Chemistry between two cops? Major hot villain (no.4)? Sign me up. I love when crime dramas make you question your people reading skills (i have the tism so i really got none) and have all kinds of theories flying around. I liked that even Kim Mu-Chan and Joo Hyun had obvious chemistry between them it didn't overshadow the main point of the plot. I liked Seo Young-Joo's delivery and i hope he gets more bigger roles. Kim Kwon.... why does the psychopath have to be hot? He also needs more bigger roles. !spoiler! Also Park Sung-Woong killing (heh) yet another morally grey character.
The Worst of Evil (2023): Okay, first of all i have to say... the wife ruined everything (some agree and some don't). We get another bromance duo of the year with Wi Ha-Joon and Ji Chang-Wook. Loved the crime organization infiltration plot, heavily despised the romance plot (sorry Bibi baby). I was constantly on the edge of my seat and the characters started to get so morally grey that in the end everyone needs group therapy. Action scenes were chefs kiss. A honorable mention goes for Lee Shin-Ki as Seo Jong-Ryul (or Chief Seo, knife guy, the man has many names) and Bibi for her performance as Lee Hae-Ryeon.
Evilive (2023): Heavily underrated. Kim Young-Kwang doing what he does best, playing a psychopath. This combined with a bromance plot with the one and only bromance master Shin Ha-Kyun? I'm sold. The dramas literal title "villain story" really sums up the plot. Sometimes you are not sure who to cheer for. Sometimes you are not really sure about your own sanity. But to be fair, so aren't the main characters.
Vigilante (2023): Love it. Currently re-watching it. Needs more attention. Needs more episodes. I'm in love with Nam Joo-Hyuk. The best crime drama of the year, the title is all i needed to hear. Beating up criminals in well made action scenes is my favorite genre. No romance. One sided bromance? Morally grey characters (am i repeating myself now?). Yoon Ji-Tae as a beefy cop and Lee Joon-Hyuk as a slightly insane admirer? If we don't get a season 2 i will start a riot.

— Jealousy

A/n: Thanks for the request! It’s my first one and I didn’t know if you wanted hcs or a fic, so I went with this idea, feel free to request again if you wanted something else. Hope you like it!
Length: 1.5k words
Extra: Sarang (사랑) means “love”.
Tumblr media
It was a warm day at South-Korea, which made you wake up with an energetic smile one your face. It was a Thursday morning, in which you specifically took the day off for a date with your lover, specifically after he canceled the last two because of work. You quickly hopped off the bed as you went to complete your morning routine.
As soon as you finished cleaning yourself, you went downstairs to eat something, as you pulled out your cellphone realizing you had a message in it.
— 💙 Sarang:
Good morning… I’m sorry but I’ll be out of contact for the day, I know we had a date planned and all but the asociation wants me to complete some things. See you later.
— You:
Don’t worry! We can always go out later… Take care, sarang. ❤️
You sighed as you looked at the message, looking up to the roof as you just accepted the fact. Your boyfriend, Sung Jin-Woo was Korea’s tenth S-rank hunter, so it was normal for him to be busy, almost to the point it bothered you. You just wished he at least took a day off… Or even take you to work with him! You were an A-rank healer, so it was only rational he could use your help… Right?
He wasn’t home much time and when he was, he arrived at almost midnight and left at early hours of the morning with you still asleep. You understood that, but you realized you needed to go out a bit and maybe have a bit of fun.
You then finished your breakfast and washed the dishes, but an unexpected message stopped you in your tracks. Apparently a friend group of yours was going out to eat and have a nice day off. Again? It was the fourth time in the last two weeks… Well, you didn’t have anything else to do, so you quickly agreed, sending back a message and going up to your room once again.
After you changed and grabbed whatever you needed, you got out of your house, walking towards a park near your home, in which your friend were waiting for you.
Just as that, a fun day began. You quickly forgot about your date with Jin-Woo’s sudden cancelling as you spent quality time with your friends, a small group of two girls, three guys and you.
You smiled and greeted them, as you guys went out to dinner and later hit a bar, drinking together to wash out some stress.
By your lover’s side, he was clearing some A-Rank gates by himself as always, ocassionally taking a bit of time to peek into the eyes of the soldiers stored in your shadow, looking at how you were laughing alongside your friends, making him frown a bit.
After some hours, almost at 4pm, he found himself in a bit of a problem. He entered the supposedly ‘last gate of the day’, which turned out to be a red gate, so he ended up trapped inside for what he felt like five days, but they were just five hours on the real world, which didn’t tire him, but frustrated him because every time he peeked into his shadows, he saw you alongside one of your friends, laughing together and drinking, which made his blood boil in jealousy.
It was now almost 10pm, Jin-Woo was tiredly walking down the stairs of the association’s main office as he finished having a talk with president Go Gun-Hee after clearing the red portal.
He seemed to be a bit bothered by the day, his clothes a bit torn and a bothered expression. He then thought about you and pulled out his cellphone to text you, feeling too tired to peek into his shadows.
Hey love… I just finished the thing I told you about… See you at home. ❤️
He then walked towards your shared home, as you guys moved in together after a few years of dating. When he arrived, he opened the door, expecting a quick and exaggerate welcome by you as always happened, but he was greeted by silence and off lights.
“Hey… Are you here…?” He said in a high-enough voice, but he didn’t recieve an answer, he then went up to your shared room to still find no trace of you.
He sighed, once again using his power to see where you were at despite how tired he was.
He saw a rather odd sight for him. He noticed a park and you were with your usual friend group. But what startled him a bit was that you were resting your head on one of your friend’s shoulder, exactly the one he trusted the least. But even worse, your face was a bit too red.
He clutched his fist a bit as he stood up again, activating his skill to change places with his shadow soldier, appearing out of thin air in front of you and your friends, leaving most of them stunned as one of the strongest hunters suddenly appeared in front of them.
“I’m sorry but I’ll take her now.” He coldly said as he took a hold of your shoulder angrily, as he walked away from your group without even letting you reply.
“H-hey..! W-what’s up with you..?” You said, as you were walking a bit weirdly, but he didn’t pay attention to that. After some minutes, he stopped walking, holding you by your shoulders in front of him as he looked at your eyes.
“I know I’ve been out of home lately, but really? Cheating on me now?” He coldly asked as you were quickly shocked by his accusation, making you look at him in the eyes in pure confusion.
“What the- Sarang, did you really think that…?” You quickly laughed at his angry and serious expression, getting closer to him and pinning him to the nearest wall with the small amount of strength your dizzy self had left, leaning in enough to reach his lips, but without touching them.
“I was just out with my friends, Jin-Woo! Did you really worry that much about me~?” You teased as your cheeks were still pinkish. “Explain why you were blushing around (f/n).” He said sternly as you laughed again at his remarks.
“I wasn’t blushing, dummy.~ I may have drank a bit too much though… Maybe that made my cheeks heat up a bit.” You explained as you gave him a peck on the lips, as you looked at him.
“You’re still going to compensate me for this. Come on.” He smirked a bit as he activated one of his skills, lifting you up without even touching you as he flipped your positions around, now pinning you down to the wall and kissing you.
“Don’t ever make me worry like that again.” He demanded as you nodded, with him smirking at your currently flustered state, taking you by your wrist as he started walking, dragging you around with him. “We’re going home, and you aren’t complaining.”
You smiled a bit as you followed him around, following him towards you shared home. When you both entered, he shut the door down behind him, walking you up to the bedroom and laying down on the bed by your side.
You being as intoxicated as you were, quickly wrapped your arms around his waist, looking at him with a tiny smile as his cheeks flushed a bit at the current sight of you. “Don’t look at me like that…” He said as he deviated his sight from you, making you think he was mad at you.
“Huh? Nah, I won’t.~ Don’t you want me to at least hold you in the one time we’re home together~?” You asked as he couldn’t deny it, but he had to maintain himself composed to maybe ‘teach you a lesson’.
“Heyy..~ I’m talking to you, Sarang…” You muttered as he pulled out his phone, quickly going through sone texts as he ignored you. Oh, the silent treatment now, huh?
You tried to get him to at least look at you, shaking your hand lazily in front of his eyes to try and catch his attention, but it didn’t work leaving you to try like that for a long time.
“Come on… Don’t give me that now..! I promise I’ll tell you next time I go out… You said you’d be out of contact for the day so I thought it’d be the same if I didn’t text it to you..” You defended yourself, admitting your flaw after almost 20 minutes, which made him sigh, looking down at you with a smirk and tossing his phone out of reach.
“There, you said it. If you ever worry me like this again I’ll be truly mad… I had to see you around that idiot for five whole days in a row… But you’re right. I should use this night together to maybe teach you something…” He said as he pulled you into a kiss, smirking at your flustered sight. “Don’t back down now, Sarang.~ You asked for it.”

Oho, my first video game OST recommendation, how fun!~
God Eater is a sci-fi action roleplaying game that many compare to the Monster Hunter franchise that came out on the PlayStation Portable on February 4, 2010 though it wasn’t available in North America and Europe until March 2011! Before getting into its amazing soundtrack, I’ll talk about the setting of the game a little. This paragraph isn’t necessarily required for talking about the music, but it’s fun to know anyways, khee hee!~
God Eater takes place in 2071 where remnants of humanity fight against mysterious monsters known as the Aragami. These monsters came about from the creation of “Oracle Cells” - which are semi-sentient cells that essentially invincible - by the Fenrir company in the 2050’s that began an uncontrollable consumption of all life on Earth. Aragamis are hundreds of thousands of these oracle cells grouped together to make massive monsters! To defend against these god-like monsters, Fenrir created weapons which were infused with oracle cells named “God Arcs” and made a force to fight the Aragami. This force, known as “God Eaters”, fight to end the Aragami threat trying to consume the last of humanity.
Bandai Namco has tons of incredible game franchises with equally stellar soundtracks - like Dark Souls and Elden Ring, Ace Combat, Tekken, and Armored Core - so it’s not a surprise how incredible the soundtrack for God Eater is, but I feel compared to other games it is incredibly underrated. This soundtrack has so many genres that all work; from wonderful and inspiring songs like “Cut the Storm”, to upbeat ones that sound right out of Dragon Ball Z, to beautiful orchestras blended with electronica, to jazz like in “Adults Only”, to heartbreaking soft tracks sung by Donna Burke, to even flamenco!
One of the best aspects of this soundtrack is how well it conveys that overbearing and massive presence that the Aragamai are meant to have over the characters and player. The blend often used between acoustic orchestral instruments and electronic aspects like in “The Gods’ Feast: Gluttony” also are INCREDIBLE at conveying how the Aragami are mechanical and man made yet godlike creatures! These bits of the soundtrack also feel well broken up by the calming, heartbreaking, or light songs separate from the action like “A Person’s Warmth” and “Peaceful Moment”. The use of DOZENS of different instruments also make the album so interesting to listen to.
God Eater’s soundtrack is enjoyable through and through, with almost none of the songs feeling dull, out of place, or unappealing - Even if I didn’t much enjoy “Enemies of Mankind” it very much felt in tune with the setting of the game - My only complaint would be how tiring it can be for me to sit through a two hour album front to back, khee hee!
Between all the incredible songs, the vocal version of “Gods and Men” was easily my favorite, Donna Burke’s singing paired with the otherworldly instrumental genuinely brought me to tears! Happy one, of course.~ Though I must say, “Fragile Plea -Reminiscence-” and “A Merciless Stage” were close behind. The only song I didn’t really enjoy was Enemies of Mankind, though I enjoyed the electronic instrumental the robotic voice singing out of time was a bit too much, even for me.~ All together, I feel this soundtrack is a 9 out of 10!
Sorry about this one being a bit long friends, thank you for reading this far! What do you think about this soundtrack? I’d love to know! Please recommend music you’d like me review and talk about in the future, khee hee.~

My Top 10 Solo Leveling Characters
Inspired by this post
I'll keep the explanations short, but if you want a more in-depth explanation, feel free to ask for more (or look through my blog. It isn't that hard to find with how much I post about certain characters)
Choi Jong-In
Tumblr media
Gee, what a surprise-
What I like the most about Choi Jong-In is how complex his character is when you actually analyze him. He comes off as a confident, sly person who does what he wants to get something for himself, but when you read between the lines, there is a lot about him that shows nearly the opposite
One example is how he exudes confidence, nearly borderline arrogance, yet when you observe his physical actions, he almost always doing something with his hands, as if he is nervous and holds back from fidgeting. He also cares a lot about other hunters yet does so very subtly, like during the double dungeon when he was giving orders to the other hunters to try to keep them safe. He reacted like how Baek Yoon-Ho did during the Red Gate incident when he learned about what happened with the high orcs A-Rank gate, showing that he does care about his hunters' safety
Okay, I need to stop
2. Baek Yoon-Ho
Tumblr media
This should have been expected from just looking at my blog
Baek Yoon-Ho was actually my favorite character early in the story. I love how despite his intimidating appearance, he is actually very kind and a rather sensitive person. He is one of more fleshed-out side characters in terms of his relationships with other side characters and how his backstory before the gates appeared is talked about a lot in various forms of Solo Leveling
He also has a rather complex personality with how serious he appears in public and how it is clear he cares a great deal about the hunters in his guild, yet with people he is close to, such as his friends, he is very expressive and reacts quite a bit to being teased and such
3. Go Gun-Hee
Tumblr media
He needs to show up in the game soon
I love how caring he is with the other hunters, specifically Woo Jin-Chul and the other S-Ranks. He makes teasing remarks towards them and is quite soft with them despite his powerful aura. He definitely has the energy of a grandfather, so I like to think he gets along with all the S-Ranks very well
He also seems very protective of them as he was furious about the Japanese Hunters Association's Chairman's plan to eliminate Korea's S-Ranks. He is like that one quote
“There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.”
4. Sung Il-Hwan
Tumblr media
Why couldn't he have seen Kyung-Hye one last time-
I also love Sung Il-Hwan's caring nature even though it was only shown after he fought Hwang Dong-Soo and was helping people get out of destroyed buildings and fire. It was nice foreshadowing to him being a firefighter in the past
He's fairly similar to Go Gun-Hee in terms of his protectiveness of the people he cares about and his optimistic/teasing nature even though Sung Il-hwan's personality wasn't shown that much. I admire how he wanted to give up his memories of the previous timeline to properly take care of his son the way he wanted to though. It was very sweet
I want him to be the main character, not his son-
5. Park Kyung-Hye
Tumblr media
She should have appeared more. She's so pretty
Not much of her was shown in the manhwa, but the moments of her that stood out to me the most were how she looked out for her family before her own well-being and how she was still waiting for her husband to return
Even when she had just awakened and found out how long she had been asleep for, the first thing she did after getting a grasp on her surroundings is comfort her son. All she knew was that her son had worked hard to take care of him and could see from his hands that he got hurt while doing so. She doesn't know what exactly Sung Jin-Woo did in the years she was asleep yet still thanked him
6. Woo Jin-Chul
Tumblr media
Of course he's on the list. Why wouldn't he be on the list
There are many admirable traits that Woo Jin-Chul has, but I think the one that stands out to me the most is his sense of justice and desire to do everything he can to make the world a better place. It doesn't get to the point where it is all he thinks about or does, but it is enough to show that he is passionate about what he believes
His demeanor is also something I like. The way he is stoic and reacts accordingly based on the situation he is in. It makes me wonder about what his personality is actually like behind the mask and when he is not working. Some of it was shown in the side stories, which was very nice to see, though I wish the manhwa had included more moments of him from the novel
He would be higher on the list, but I'm a sucker for parental figures
7. Min Byung-Gyu
Tumblr media
The reason I have a strong grudge against Sung Jin-Woo
Min Byung-Gyu is a much stronger person the more you analyze him (I'm working on an analysis of him, so I'll be going into more detail there). The way he is clearly traumatized by the third Jeju raid and had already told Baek Yoon-Ho that he would not be going on the next Jeju raid, yet he still showed up in the end
He likely couldn't bear the thought of the S-Ranks dying without him there more than the possibility of him not being able to save them. Compared to the other side characters, he was actually fleshed out quite a bit, and he was a very unique character compared to the S-Ranks in terms of his personality
He did NOT need to die
8. Son Ki-Hoon
Tumblr media
Most underrated character right here
I don't think much about Son Ki-Hoon as he didn't have that much of a presence in the manhwa, but I really like how he was portrayed as a good leader. After all the other raids Sung Jin-Woo had been on prior to this raid, I was really worried that Son Ki-Hoon was going to be selfish like the others. But thankfully, he chose to go the route that would be the safest for the rest of the team (I think he, unfortunately, has bad luck though)
He was also very adamant about protecting his guild members despite it seeming certain that they would die. Not in a self-sacrificial way (which is a trait I personally dislike), but in a way that would the others the best chance of survival while still doing his best to stay alive
9. Park Hee-Jin
Tumblr media
She's so pretty alsdkfjafda
Not much of Park Hee-Jin was seen other than the Red Gate, but the game went in depth about her backstory, which I enjoyed watching. To summarize, Park Hee-Jin had "hunches" whenever something is about to go wrong, and although she doesn't know if something will actually happen or not, her instincts are usually right
However, when she tells other people, they usually don't believe her, and when something does happen, they blame her for it. Yet despite the accusations against her, she doesn't let it bother her and just ignores them, focusing on keeping herself and those who do believe her safe. Similar to Park Kyung-Hye, she also has a caring nature with other hunters, especially those younger than her.
10. Eun-Seok
Tumblr media
I know he was only in the anime for like. 3 minutes, but hear me out
Despite Eun-Seok not being on screen for long and barely being mentioned anywhere else, the effect he had on the surviving hunters was very impactful. It clearly affected his close friends, Baek Yoon-Ho and Min Byung-Gyu, the latter of whom retired after the raid. It's not clearly stated, but in the game, he also seems to be the reason why Lim Tae-Gyu seems rather jaded at times, so I assume the two must have been close
As for his personality, he seems like someone who looks out for his friends often yet has a playful side to him as well. I hope we get to see more of him later, whether it's in the game or in a flashback in the anime, but already in the anime, they gave him a lot of features, including a whole character design along with very unique powers
I'm very weak towards selfless people who are humble in case you couldn't tell
If you made it this far, congratulations. Have a cookie 🍪 I don't know what other foods to give. Maybe a fruit next time

I'm thinking about the 15 hour flight from Korea to Barcelona. If we consider Tory spent some time in Korea before, did she and Kwon sit together on the flight? He seems like the type of guy to quickly take up the seat beside her while she doesn't really care. What do you think the seating arrangements were?
Hi anon, thanks for asking <3
You really got me thinking so first we need to consider a couple things
1. Those are the members of the team, and their names, so we don't get confused (it's not in order, sorry):
Tumblr media
Kwon Jae-Sung - Brandon H. Lee
Yoon Do-Jin - Daniel Kim
Min Seok - Kawui Joa
Chung Hee  - Sung Ho Park
Ryu Seung* - Alex Wong
Tory Nichols - Peyton List
(* She doesn't have a name on IMDb, so I'm going with this one, the others I took from IMDb)
2. They are most likely not going by a normal flight (by that I mean from an airport), since Kreese is wanted and all, so they might be using Silver's/Kim's (not sure who it belonged to) private plane, which is what I'm going for.
Now that this has been clarified, let's think.
I completely agree with you Kwon is definitely that type of guy, but considering is a private plane, the seating arrangement can differ.
Tumblr media
Here we have an example that I think has the luxury Silver and Kim kinda seem like they have. The seats are 2x2 facing each other.
We have 6 students, 2 senseis, and apparently 16 seats.
The senseis have a booth of their own most likely cause hell if they have to stare at teenagers for 15 hours.
Now, onto the teens arrangement.
Tory and Kwon are definitely a possibility, but if we think she made friends with the others, one might try to be faster than him (lol)
For example, let's say she and Ryu became friends too, they will probably even share a room in the hotel, being the only girls, maybe they would like to sit together.
But I don't see Kwon and Yoon sitting together for 15 hours, across from each other? Perhaps. Side by side? Maybe not.
Chung and Min are the other two guys Kwon beats in episode 3, so they could sit either together or one of them with Yoon.
I personally think even a 3x3 can happen, we saw Tory, Kwon and Yoon seem to be in good terms with each other, so the three of them in one booth, Ryu, Min and Chung on the other.
I would go with 3x3, with Tory and Kwon on one side and Yoon on the other, while Chung and Ryu in one side and Min in the other. But yeah, Tory and Kwon definitely sat next to each other.

Hey so i saw that one post of yours where the reader is oblivious ot maybe dumb and she isn't scared of her stalker jungwon. If you are free please do more like this for maybe hee or sunghoon and i really love all your works muah muah muah
love you too anon mwahh😘😆, hope you enjoy this
[07:23]
You were walking to go home. However, you noticed that someone was following you from behind. At first, you thought it was just imagination but then when you took out your phone to take a selfie, you noticed the man started to turn around instead of keep walking like normal people.
You started to fasten your steps but the guy also didn't give up and quicken his steps also to catch up with you. When you finally reached the front door, your hands were shaking so bad while pressing on the numbers to unlock the door.
When you finally got inside, the door got kicked from outside. You screamed for help while pressing on the door to close it but the man was too strong and he pushed the door with strong force and made you fell down to the floor.
"Please, don't hurt me. I'm begging you."
"Awh baby, I just want to have a little 'fun' with you. Come to daddy, babygirl."
"Sorry but you are too old for my taste."
Congratulation. You successfully made the older man furious. He took out a knife from his pocket. You backed away from him and started throwing things towards him.
"Bitch like you should die. That way I can enjoy your body better."
You closed your eyes waiting for the impact but you didn't feel anything. However, you opened your eyes back when you heard a loud scream and saw the man who wanted to attack you were laying down on the floor while bleeding on his head. You looked at your side and this time it was another man but it was hard for you to determine his face since he was wearing a mask.
"Go to your room. I will handle this.", he said that without looking at you. Quickly, you stood up and ran to your room. You covered your ears to prevent yourself from hearing the old man screams. You didn't know how long you were in that position but you finally saw the man who saved you from the old man crouching in front of you.
"Are you okay, sweet?", he asked with genuine concern on his face. You don't know why but your tears started to fall down making the man in front of you panicked.
"Oh my- what what why are you crying? Is it because of me? I'm sorry I had to do that cause I don't want him to hurt you. I- I will go okay."
When he wanted to stand up, you hold him tightly. He sat down in front of you and waited until you finally calmed down. He smiled at the way your hand was still tightly hold his.
"Thank you for saving me."
"It's my pleasure, sweet."
You didn't know what got into you but you really made the man in front of you shocked when you leaned closer to take his mask off his face. You gasped at the familiar sight of your coworker.
"Sung..hoon?"
Sunghoon felt dumb and embarrassed at the same time. He couldn't say anything so he just looked down on his lap where both of your hands still holding to each other.
"I'm sorry if you hate me right now but I don't have any bad intention to you-"
"Why are you absent?"
For once again, you made the man speechless. He expected you to scream or being mad at him for stalking you but instead you innocently asked his whereabouts.
"I- I had a fever but then I was bored cause I can't see you so I decided to break into your house just to see you for awhile and then this happened."
Sunghoon nervously answered while looking at your reaction. You didn't seem afraid or mad but full of curiousity.
"Are you still sick then?"
What? Why are you not scared? Sunghoon felt weird. He thought you were deaf for seconds cause you seem so okay after he confessed being your stalker.
"You heard right that I break into your home? I stalk you everyday since the first day you started to work at the office. Are yoy okay with that?"
"Yep, you never hurt me so why should I be scared? Plus, you just saved me from that man. Who knows what will happen if you are not here?"
My goodness. If your parents heard this, they will slap their forehead for having dumb child like you.
"Have you eat? I can make clam porridge! My mother always make me that when I'm sick. It's like a magic cause it literally cure me."
You said excitedly while holding him to stand up. You brought him to the dining table and sat him down. Your house looked neat than before when the old man came in. There was no stain on the floor at all.
"Where is the old man?"
"I got rid of him, sweet. No need to be worry."
You smiled and continue cooking. Sunghoon felt peace. It looks like what he had imagined. Doing something domestic with you. He wanted to feel like this everyday. He went to your back and slipped his hands on you while you were cutting the ingredients.
"You should fold your fingers to avoid getting cut. Like this."
Now you are the one who suddenly went speechless. Both of you were in that position for several minutes after Sunghoon finally let you go to prepare something else.
The dinner went smoothly and Sunghoon was still curious why you felt okay about him being your stalker. He sat on the couch after the meal while staring at you.
"How can you be okay with this?"
"Hmm?"
He caressed your cheek gently. Your eyes are the most attractive thing he ever see.
"I stalk you y/n. I have so many pictures of you and I even know everything about you. Even your favourite meal to buy at convenience store. I'm obsessed with you so bad that I can kill anyone for you. Are you really okay with that?"
"You did that cause you love me, right? So, why would I be afraid? I would be so grateful to have you in my life, Sunghoon."
That day, Sunghoon stopped stalking you cause he doesn't need to when he finally got to live with you. Every single day, both of you will go and back home together. Doing domestic things and sharing affections with each other. At times, Sunghoon show his posessive side when guys couldn't take a hint but at the end you guys still happy with each other.
My goodness, this is so soft HAHHAHAHAHAHAH i really hope you guys enjoy this

AND i managed to squeeze in the haoyn beef explanation ?? tbh when i first posted it i kind of expected it to do fairly well (the boys planet smau writers demographic was like 10 ppl at best back then) but i did not expect it to do this well n singlehandedly gain me almost 500 followers . thats crazy insane bonkers . why am i getting kind of emotional writing this i dont think listening to light the way by cravity was a good idea . anyways , im sorry by the end of it i kind of lost the 'spark' that made this fic good - i couldn't even get to 20 chapters ffs - writing it was more of a chore than a fun little hobby for me n at times it made me genuinely anxious to the point of crying/getting nauseous . yes user li juyomiao is fucking insane but hey ! im alright now i promise ! jumping right into another series is probably not the smartest thing to do but im so excited abt it n i really really want to branch out into writing for other groups n the idea i had was so so good ,, i'll learn from my mistakes n write a few chapters in advance so i can take it easy n not pressure myself , tho :] thank u to everyone who supported only one until its very last chapter !! this authors note is long asf so if u read it all heres a dumpling for u my lovelies 🥟 thats it , li out‼️‼️ (im fr getting emotional good lord help me)

Favorite Things: My Lovely Liar
The way they explore truth and lies in this series was really interesting and well done. It becomes immediately obvious that knowing something is a lie does not mean you know the truth, and that plays out again and again in the story. The overarching themes added a lot of depth to the series that we appreciated. It's one of those series that we would probably get even more out of with a second watch. Maybe someday.
Tumblr media
We also liked that the romance was cute and sweet and gave us lots to gush over. We enjoyed the main actors and their chemistry. Overall, we thought this was a unique story and really enjoyed it.
Here are some of the posts about My Lovely Liar that we enjoyed: (spoilers ahead)
The gasp we let out when we saw this photo and everything clicked. This photo was heartbreaking. Thanks for posting @tinyevilgremlin
We had a lot to process around the murderer and motive in My Lovely Liar. After the shock and heartbreak, we had to process the discomfort. Only after all of that were we able to take a step back and see how this plot twist fit with the entire theme of the show.
Beautiful edit of this sweet scene by @lemonsourcrisis
@fake-married-my-dead-fiance has a great post about some of the lies that makes this series so interesting.
This quote is so real. Thanks for posting it @quotestrove ❤
Love this quote posted by @uriquotes. It sums up the series so well.

Final Ceremony - Chapter 5
Characters: Esu, Kanna, Yume, Raika
Translator: Mika Enstars
Proofreader: 310mc
❗️ This chapter was voice-acted live at the 4piece Final Ceremony Live Event! You can listen as you read along!
"Ooh, that’s Kanna for you…! If there’s no god, then there’s no buddha either!"
[Read on my blog for the best viewing experience with Oi~ssu ♪]
Season: Summer
Location: Dance Room
Tumblr media
And then, a few days later…
Esu: It’s I, the man appointed to be leader of Esupuri, Sagiri Esu… Stage name, Esu!!! Yup, exactly the same!
Although, well, I was only appointed because the original candidate for the leader declined and I was runner-up.
And today’s adventure is~? Dun-dundun-daah! ♪
Tumblr media
Esu: A blood-drenched training session, in preparation for our upcoming debut live! First, we do our stretches!
Now let the adventure begin! Split your legs and lean forward! And forward! And forward! And forward!
Ow ow ow ow?! I can’t do this, any more and my groin will split in half! Is this a failed adventure~?
Yume: Good morning Esu. *squeeze* ☆
—Loud crack sound
Esu: AgyaaAAAAH?! I don’t think that crack sound was supposed to be heard coming from a human bodyyyYYY!?
Yume: Are you okay, Esu? Yume’s worried.
Esu: Since you think so, then how about you get off of meeEEE?! I’m gonna die at this rate! I’ll be folded in half!
Raika: Sagiri-sama… I mean, Esu-sama.
Uu. Nice-sama told us to call each other by our stage names, but a birdbrain like me’s havin’ trouble gettin’ used to it.
Um, so, Esu-sama… What should I be doin’ for this blood-drenched training session in preparation for our live?
I’ve largely sung on my own, so I don’t quite exactly know what to do…
Esu: (laying in agony)
Kanna: Esu-san does not appear to be capable of response at the moment, so allow me to respond to your questions in his place, Raika-san.
I believe the most important thing is to prioritize improvement of your singing and dancing, the primary objective of a live.
Here is the device that Nice-san has entrusted to us that contains the video of Esupuri’s debut song and its choreography.
I believe the first step for us all is to input this into our heads.
Also, please disregard what Esu-san said about a blood-soaked training session, as such a thing has no logical sense in terms of reaching our goal.
Fatigue and injury can potentially reduce concentration and precision.
Raika: Uh-hee… Thank you so much, Kanna-sama!
Kanna: Not at all.
Esu-san. I would not have stepped in if it had been a question from someone other than Raika-san, so please do not impose this position upon me in the future. It’s a hassle.
Tumblr media
Esu: Ooh, that’s Kanna for you…! If there’s no god, then there’s no buddha either![1] Your stare is so cold that my heart could shatter to pieces!
Yume: Then you should only just look at Yume. So here, turn and look at Yume, okay?
Esu: Gyouh?! Can you consider the range of motion humanly possible for a neck?!
Raika: Eheehee~. ♪
Yume: ……
Raika-chan.
Raika: Yes? You need somethin’, Ohana-san? ♪
Yume: That is Yume’s line. You’ve been staring at Yume’s face. What is it?
Raika: Ahh, well ya told Esu-sama he “should only just look at Yume”, Ohana-san, and I thought it’d be a pleasure t’join in too!
Yume: Raika-chan.
Raika: Aye!
Tumblr media
Yume: Get lost. Now.
Raika: Huuh?!
Yume: And don’t call Yume “Ohana-san”. Don’t speak at all. Don’t breathe, for that matter.
Raika: So cruel?! Why would you say that?!
Esu: Yume~. You can’t treat Raika-kun so poorly. We’ll be working together as a unit from here on, after all.
Yume: …Well, if Esu says so, then Yume will have to bear with it for now.
Esu: Now keep on bearing with it! Into the future! For the rest of your life!
Yume: ……
Isn’t old man Nice supposed to be coming today? He’s so irresponsible. Even though he said that he’d produce us and our unit.
Esu: Ah! Wow, you just changed the subject when you realized it wasn’t convenient for you, huh?
He was here earlier to set up this dance room. Prepped some songs and stuff for us.
But then he suddenly said, “I’ve got an idea for a nice promotion that’ll take the very world by surprise!”, and left the room with a skip in his step.
Kanna: “An idea for a nice promotion that’ll take the very world by surprise”?
I’m a tad curious what he means by that.
Within this industry, “producing” and “promotion” are defined as the use of various measures in order to increase the value of an objective.
For these methods, the monetary values and theories are generally already established.
However, judging from Nice-san’s behavior, perhaps he has come up with a different method.
If it is a new type of promotion that bases around the combination of subject and stimulus in order to draw in interest from others, then that is quite intriguing.
Tumblr media
Raika: ♪~♪~♪~ (spinning in circles on his own, singing)
Yume: This isn’t a practice room. We are within a forest where fairies live. This speaker here is a house for a fairy. Fufu…♪
Kanna: ……
Esu: They both have lost interest..
I’ve told you that not everyone can keep up with your thought circuits! It’s rare for you to be so enthused though, Kanna~!
Tumblr media
Esu: Well, point is, NiceP is doing a toooon of thinking for us, you know?
So what’s left for us to do is doing what we gotta!
How about we surprise NiceP by getting this done by the time he comes back? Results are not yet known! That’s what makes it an adventure!!!!

Esu makes a pun on Kanna’s name here; 神無 (Kanna) is the kanji for “god” (神) and “none” (無) together.

okay but to add some sweetness and cuteness after gut wrenching pain
due to gate shenanigans at different periods of time jinwoo and jinchul shrink to small children form
one time a child appears out of go gun-hee shadow surrounded by equally small almost plushie like shadows. entire KHA goes insane because usually scary looking hunter sung and his shadows are really cute now??? jinchul gets assigned to babysit jinwoo (gun-hee jokes that handling jinwoo shouldn’t be a problem since he deals with S ranks anyway who are simply overgrown children and jinchul wants to tell him so badly that S ranks and actual children are different things, sir--). so jinwoo spends some hours clinging to jinchul (as well as his shadows that he can’t unsommon but at least they’re small). to jinchul’s suprise jinwoo is actually a sweet child that is easy to care for so there’s no serioius accidents until he gets a chance to ride jinwoo to sungs and entrust him to his actual mother who’s more than capable to care for him while he’s stuck like that. but since he’s still assigned to keep check on jinwoo no matter what he visits sungs when he gets the chance to, always bringing small treats that kyung-hye so nicely told him about.  after this gets solved jinchul finds a big basket with freshly baked expensive pastry and a really good herbal tea that helps with stress and sleep problems and a cute thank you note. then after rare raid participation it’s jinchul who gets shrunk and go gun-hee faces a clearly panicking but stone faced child that is on edge and just looks around to keep check on everyone. he just calmly sits somewhere on corner sofa, doesn’t talk to much and doesn’t take treats other KHA workers give him. and then small Kaisel plops near him startling poor jinchul and they just end up staring at each other until he starts to pet her. then a giant bear approaches him too and it nuzzles him and is really fluffy and warm and he allows him to ride on him which jinchul happily does. jinwoo’s big brain plan of making small jinchul more approacheable with cute animals was a sucsess and now local shadow monarch carries a comically grumpy small chief of monitoring division in his hands and buys poor child sweets and other things. jinwoo later received an awkward apology for trouble he brought but honestly best reward for jinwoo (and best laugh) was jinchul’s face when he saw a plushie of mini Kaisel sitting on jinchul’s workplace and it exact perfect size to take naps on it.

Reawakened!Lee Ju-hee
S-Rank healer.
Tumblr media
Before she could leave her apartment, a bright light engulfed her. Lee Ju-hee gasped and her hands went to her chest, feeling the rapid beating of her heart. She did not know what it was. . . But there was only one way for her to find out.
Re-evaluation.
With her heart racing against her chest, Lee Ju-hee placed her hand on the giant sphere. The result brought shock, not only to her, but as well as the employee.
"Congrats! You have become an S-Rank!"
S-Rank healer.
How would she cope with this now? She thought she was supposed to retire!
Not long after, the association came to see South Korea's second S-Rank healer. Woo Jin-chul was surprised to discover it was Lee Ju-hee, the hunter whom he had encountered many times before, yet he congratulated her for her reawakening. All guildmasters gathered around her, sending their felicitations, but most of all, their offers
In the end, Lee Ju-hee picked the White Tiger Guild. It was simply because she remembered it was the guild who rescued her old friend in the Double Dungeon. In that way, she could give her thanks to Baek Yoon-ho by becoming his guild's healer.
The rest of the guildmasters, except for Ma Dong-wook, scoffed in disdain. Baek Yoon-ho smiled and promised to look after her and treat her the best way possible. It was likely because she was an S-Rank healer and the last healer got retired.
Not only her healing powers increased, Ju-hee also achieved mage powers.
A new spark of hope ignited in her soul. She recalled the most tragic moments in her life, yes they were still painful and gut-wrenching, but Lee Ju-hee suddenly had faith that she could win against her demons.
News spread fast about Korea's second S-Rank healer. Lee Ju-hee wasn't sure how she would handle the attention, which was why she moved to the building where Cha Hae-in also lived.
Lee Ju-hee was one of the hunters who went to the Jeju Island to deal with the S-Rank gate. And from there, she met Min Byung-gyu, Korea's first S-Rank healer and also a retired hunter. She was quite familiar with him and managed to say hi before the plane arrived in the island's vicinity.
S-Rank healer Lee Ju-hee, now having powers for combat, fought and annihilated the ants. She looked after the hunters and healed their injuries within seconds. She and Min Byung-gyu cast buffs to their teammates, with one half from Ju-hee and the other half from Byung-gyu.
When the giant black ant came, Lee Ju-hee felt threatened. Although, she managed to distract the ant as the rest of the hunters continue bringing damages to the monster. Then, Byung-gyu told her he'd take over and ushered her to the dying Cha Hae-in.
Ju-hee panicked and rushed toward the swordswoman's aid, seeing the paleness on her skin and the way it was turning grey, so she immediately began her healing on Hae-in.
When she caught Min Byung-gyu getting wounded, Lee Ju-hee extended her hand to his direction and the healer's wounds were quickly mended.
Nobody else in the team died. Sung Jin-woo appeared and finished off the remaining ants. The raid was a success at last. But one thing for sure—
Ju-hee wasn't sure what she would do with being famous now.
