Copying artstyle off of older Steven and Connie concept art for the heck of it. (And chibis. ┐(´▾｀)┌)
The proportions felt awkward to draw, I did end up stretching them a bit. Haha

Today I started playing minish cap for the first time and I pretty much almost teared up when you first shrink... Why are you like two pixels tall... If you roll you go so ridiculously far... And the minish are so tiny... They got such a cute tail... They turn to look at you... Smol friendly rats... Everything is so cute this game already broke me
#Been wanting to play it for like +1 years but I wanted to finish totk first#I haven't finished it yet xDD but I gave up on it. it was rly hard for me to enjoy it#anyways I completed the first dungeon!!! That was fun#and this time I didnt get stuck on the first puzzle like in skyward sword lol (that games generally easy but I dont shine for my brightness#I thought the barrel thing was so cool. I'm a simple woman#I meant +1 year I'm not going back to fix that#kiiiiiiiiinda sucks that since I got back to LU I have gotten spoiled some things. could've avoided that if I played it sooner#buuuut life goes on I'm sure I'll get a lot of nice surprises

Some people do kinda suck but I find a lot of joy in giving people really specifics compliments at my job and it makes their whole day sometimes c: 💛
#I had a very enthusiastic conversation about a lady’s hair and the way it was cut#she cut it herself!#I often like to tell some women that their purse is very nice and they’re usually very proud of their purses I’ve found#I will tell some people sometimes that the color of their shirt is so fitting for their skin tone and was a great choice that day#I expressed once to a customer that I loved the prints of his shirts and he came by one day in this one particular shirt#hoping I’d be there apparently because he wanted me to see the shirt because I love his style!#it’s so nice#I had a lady blushing once from head to toe because I said she looks like the perfect example of a woman#that face every artist draws for that reference#she was so beautiful#haha I like compliments on men’s facial hair too!#they’re proud of their facial hair a lot of the time#even soemthing as simple as they look amazing for their age which I’ve said many many times#like I said some people suck and I have yet to truly meet the bad eggs but man I just really like seeing them light up#when you compliment the littlest things they put hardly any effort into and think maybe nobody will even notice#I like pointing out those things

Finally got around drawing Aioros :D
#saint seiya#saint seiya fanart#los caballeros del zodiaco#sagittarius aiolos#I remember reading somewhere (either a post or some wiki page idk) how aioros is often revered as the perfect saint an almost divine figure#and I’m pretty sure aioros initially refutes being the next pope saying saga would be a better fit (it’s 4am so correct me if I’m wrong)#anyway I watched some of kotz for fun and saw that scene. he seemed rather upset at the news but a sense of distress I can’t really describ#even when keeping in mind that he was only 14 I don’t think it was the responsibility that comes with being a gold saint/pope successor#but more combining the first bit of being highly viewed. he seems like a rather humble guy who’s rather content with risking his life#or has at least excepted that fact. but when seem as more than a simple soldier it makes him uneasy. because he knows he’s not a god#yet is put in such position that when adding his sacrifice at an early age he’s practically legend. and despite the initial denial he will#always be obedient enough to accept the duty placed upon him. this is all to simply say I tried drawing him smiling but it didn’t look righ#so ye. (feel bad for just leaving the thought process to the sketch in the tags but it’s not my best wording so it stays down here)#a smol trivia nugget: I still don’t know how I want to draw aioros :p actually better trivia nugget: the pose/composition is from a photo m#they saw I had taken a photo but my angle was rather bland so they decided to absolutely blow me away with one heck of a photo#theres even nice lighting and everything. real glad I finally used the reference as reference :]

i've recently started listening to IVE and the way people hate on wonyoung so much is so crazy to me. the damn girl won't even do nothing except sit there or can do something as simple as flipping her hair and someone is gonna be somewhere in the comments calling her a "pick me" or saying they don't like her. it doesn't matter how small it is and someone will find an issue. i can understand not liking a person but goodness i cannot imagine being bothered by them that much. its beyond me

I'm still pissed off at the fact that so many responses to that post were "um ackshually the dictionary definition☝️🤓" and now that i'm actually a linguistics student i have the vocabulary necessary to explain why it pissed me off so i want a round two.
#it's a difference between prescriptive and descriptive approaches to language#you can slap a dictionary around all you want it doesn't change how words are used in real life by real people#original meanings mean nothing when they change#nice used to mean simple and used to mean stupid.#yet now we use it to mean nice/kind/good.#and so. ''expat'' means ''temporary worker'' so it's fine for brits to use it here#but it's really not because like ... the brits come here to retire and die. the immigrants from nepal are the real expats if we use#the definition. yet nobody calls the white westerners ''immigrants'' but does the people from periphery countries#funny how that works. 🤔 it seems like we ignore definitions in favour of some ideology but it's not a linguistic one
