Red Hooded Phantoms

Hmm

Another deaged or reborn Danny idea

But also Danny is Jason plotline. I've seen a few Danny is/reborn Dick, Tim, and a few rare Damian ones but I feel like we don't see a lot of Danny as Jason.

After being deaged by Vlad in another failed attempt to make Danny his son, he decided to try raising a deaged Danny instead because the boy would have no memories of his past, however during the struggle between Vlad and Team Phantom, Danny is sent into Vlad's lab portal and into the Zone, only for another random portal to open up and drop him into the DCverse and into a Gotham alleyway.

He is found by Shelia Haywood and well, we all know the life of Jason Todd after that.

Or he dies due to like the GIW, or bad Vlad, or bad Fenton Parents (Not picky on which) and is later reborn due to the damage done to his core.

It isn't until he dies and returns that Jason Danny feels like its something familiar, something is itching in the back of mind as he mindlessly wonders around Gotham after digging himself out of his grave.

And it only becomes more and more familiar when he is later found by the LOA/Talia and tossed into the Pits. Even the rage he gains feels familiar.

Later he becomes Red Hood, and that timeline happens.

Jason Danny doesn't find out the actual truth until one day the sky is ripped open by a glowing Lazarus green portal and a large armor covered being steps out, declaring he is there to fight for his crown/throne against the one that bested him last time and to bring forth Phantom for their battle.

And he had less than a few hours to come forward or else he will rip this world apart. (Pariah Dark may be a Tyrant King but he wanted his throne/crown back along with revenge against the one that stole it in the first place legitimately so it couldn't be denied)

A huge JL and JLD meeting is held and no one can find this 'Phantom'

So someone in JLD has a suggestion to summon someone from the Infinite Realms who might be able to help them locate Phantom (or maybe summon Phantom himself since he's technically the Ghost King.)

If we go with summoning someone other than Phantom, they manage to summon Jazz (whose acting as Queen Regent at the moment since Danny went missing)

And the moment he see's Jazz, Jason Danny feels his head and soul start to hurt. And memories he's sometimes see's in his dreams start bubbling into the surface.

I highly recommend newer Mag fans take a few minutes to jump in a time machine and check out what the fandom was like when the show was actively airing, particularly before it got big. It only catches posts from 2017 and on so you can't go back to anything from S1, but on average:

2017 - S2 was airing

2018 - S3 was airing

2019 - S4 was airing

2020-early 2021 - S5 was airing

The searches you want are "the magnus archives match:tags before:YEAR-MM-DD" (for everything before that date) or "the magnus archives match:tags date:YEAR-MM-DD" (for anything on a specific day). There is a wealth of old analysis and fanart/fic just waiting for you to find it, and all of it is delightful.

So I've been getting back into Kingdom Hearts… 💖

From left to right, their names are Elara, Orion, Hinata, and Wren. Elara, Orion, and Wren are Keyblade Wielders in training. Hinata is the only one who isn't. More on these guys and more designs of their friends in the future. 💕

The first is a girl with peach-tone skin, blue eyes, and long brown hair tied up in messy pigtail braids. Her outfit is blue, yellow, and white in motif and she has a pair of aviator goggles on her head. She's wearing a yellow scarf bandana around her neck. She looks energetic and determined.

Beside her is a boy with brown skin, golden orange eyes, and a slash scar on his cheek. He's taller than the first girl and his long black hair is tied up in a small high ponytail. His outfit motif is black, orange, and white in contrast to the first girl, and he's wearing a matching scarf identical to hers. His disposition is cool and quiet.

Beside the boy is a much shorter girl, shorter even than the first girl. Her skin is brown and her eyes are bright and brown, the color in the shape of hearts in her irises. Her hair is ombre, starting a natural near-black dark brown and shifts in gradient into a light ocean blue and an even lighter sky blue at the ends. Her bangs are pinned back by pink hair pins and the back is tied in a white bow that looks reminiscent to cat ears. She's wearing a princess-y idol-like outfit that's pink, blue, and white and tall boots that look a bit too big on her. She's very feminine and cute.

The last is the tallest and largest of the group. A boy who has a broader body and stands over the earlier boy by a notable amount of height. His skin is light and his brows are thick. His eyes are green and his dark brown hair is messy and tied out of his face by an orange headband. He's the rougher of the group, his face and arms covered in bandages that give him a "fighter" vibe and his jacket having ripped off sleeves to make a vest. His outfit color scheme is green, orange, black, and yellow and he looks like he participates in a combat sport. His smile is friendly and he gives the air of a big softie.

Our ragged, bloodstained girl in red. Flesh stained teeth, earth crusted nails. An animal-girl.

Girlhood knows red. She knows of blood and the hollowing hunger that resides in the pit of stomachs. She knows her way around organs and the fresh scent of danger. Girlhood knows of red eyes, red hands, red tongue licking a full, satisfied smile.

Red waits with the Creature resting on her grandmother’s bed. It lies with one paw over the other. It yawns and sleeps and bares its neck. It waits for inevitability. Fear wears the clothes of love.

“If you cannot eat, you will die. This is the Law.”

Tears swell at the corners of the girl’s eyes. Who are these tears for, my child? Humanity lays at the corners of her eyes. She wipes them with the back of her hand.

Hunger and hunger and hunger grips the girls stomach. Starvation. Instincts. Animal.

She lays the iron weapon into the Creature’s skull.

Red Riding Hood devours her shadow. She rips apart fur, finds the critical spot where the meat comes apart the easiest, where the heart pounds and fades the quickest.

She splits the skull apart, pulling the strings that have tormented her Story many times told. She strays the path and follows her instincts. Animal.

She eats. She eats and drinks and swallows. Bright red. Raw meat. She picks the fur and guts out of her teeth. She wipes her mouth on the collar of her white dress and her hands at her thighs. “My teeth were made to eat you”.

Unrecognisable child. People fear you the way they feared the Big Bad Wolf. What have you done? Predator claws and ears grow from her body. Alien, familiar. Maturity, mortality, humanity, innocence— the blood at the end of girlhood.

“I met death, and Death wants me to live.”
