#splashtail#frostpaw#ok i rewatched one of my favorite movies. here is an unrelated asc rewrite i was considering#i think frostpaw could have found out about reedwhisker sooner#splashfrost are still very close as kids but they start drifting apart when frost switches to med training#and either she finds him by chance soon after he kills reedwhisker and he has to manipulate his way through it#OR reed/curl/splash/frost are all in the forest one day for one reason or another#and splash starts instigating reed and they get into a physical fight and he obviously dies#so it's a secret between the 3 of them#and frostpaw knows it was an accident splashtail of course it was. you're my best friend#in the movie the first death was an accident but in this au curl&splash are just fucking with her the whole time!#curl with better intentions than him of course but they're both still leaving her in the dark about why it really happened#and curlfeather still ends up dying too and frostpaw doesn't know what to do because it couldn't have been splashtail. it was an accident#and things just keep getting worse!#this isn't what i think should have happened instead i'm just having fun#this will make more sense if you've seen super dark times. not that it's related

night has fallen in the yakgwa village. a few cookies were up and about doing their own personal tasks. amongst those awake, two cookies inside the royal palace decided to spend some more time together before going to bed.
"your highness, please..."
yugwa cookie sighed in annoyance as the princess cupped and squished his cheeks. bukkumi cookie's small giggles made the royal inspector's heart flutter.
"oh, i just can't help it! you're just so cute!" she cooed as she noticed his face go red at her words. she couldn't resist anymore and began littering his face with kisses.
yugwa cookie gasped at her boldness, his entire face turning red. "princess!" he grabbed her shoulders and gently moved her back. she gave him a sly grin as he avoided her gaze.
"can you blame me, inspector? even when you're serious, you're just too irresistible to adore." she giggled and removed his hands from her shoulders to intertwine them with hers. he tried his best to remain serious, yet he couldn't help returning his gaze back to her. he graced her with a small smile and gently squeezed her hands.
he slouched slightly to touch his forehead with hers. she softly smiled as she gazed up at him with fondness. "you're unbelievable sometimes, you know that?" he mumbled.
bukkumi's eyes crinkled, his words making her smile grow. she gently rubbed her forehead against his, brimming with delight at their shared tenderness.
"don't deny it yugwa cookie, you love me for it."
he chuckled softly, his eyes holding nothing but warmth and adoration for her.
"that, i do."

Bad news: That joke post about including Reset + Orchid is definitely not canon. (I legit got sad thinking about Reset being in a universe where Orchid isn't- because their stories are so so intertwined- but Nightmare 100% would NOT risk the whole twins exploding Error's soul thing.)
Good news: This means I COULD include Kane (Reset's older brother who usually dies in timelines where Reset is born) and use it to develope his character a bit more! Also! Perhaps a Blue × Dream kiddo is finally in the stars for me to design?

Lust doesn't do much but he's very very#handsome and Cross is super easily flustered and shy around new people and he's awkward and aughhh.#and then he thinks about the interaction for the next month before deciding he's going to ask Ccino to go back there again.#and Lust likes dressing Cross up in new outfits (everyone thinks it's great Cross is loosening up and meeting new friends cuz Lust introduce#s him to people in town) and it takes forever for Cross to get over his worries and ask Lust out to a ride on his horse (romantic. of course#) and Lust agrees because he's charmed.#and the best part would be Cross *actually* manages to keep it a secret. like. no one finds out until one morning Killer bursts into Cross'#room to wake him for surprise training and it's Cross. the weird Dog. and- holy shit did Cross have someone over???#Cross pulls the cool ones frfr 🙏#it's just a casual thing between them with little plot relevance or drama I think. just a chill lil relationship 🙏

There is a really painful self defeating irony in people who gatekeep goth/punk/emo subcultures.
All of these subcultures are pretty broad and fluid and were formed so outcasts can band together, but if there is ONE "rule" if it can even be called such it is to stand against and question authority.
And then you have some someone come in claiming to be an authority on the subject of a group of rebels and starts policing who is allowed in this collective under the impression it's a secret club and not reclaimed words we have adopted that were once used to belittle and suppress us-
My actual sibling in Christ, Lucifer or whatever Gods you do or do not follow HOW have you SO THOROUGHLY missed the point.
You have become the authority you were supposed to rebel against.
