Honestly, I'm not even worried about this. This whole Nandor & The Guide is not coming out of nowhere. I'm like 90% sure there's something cooking in the background, and it's not as obvious as Nandor and The Guide ending up together. Listen, I'm sure simms and all the writers are cackling as they watch people lose their heads over this.

i believe the writers are not that stupid as to throw all these years of a good show down the drain. plus, nothing is adding up. i'm sure that if they were serious about this, if they wanted to sell this to people, they would have added the guide to more episodes and for more time. but so far we have seen her for less than 2 minutes. they are honestly doing 0 shit to sell this "ship" just nandor being as hee always has been "in love" and rushing into things. also, can we take into consideration the guide? even if nandor was so in love with her, she's not? she said this herself.

there's something going on with nandor, and it happened on that hypnosis episode, and if not, something tells me that this "love" his feeling is gonna be something that moves the plot of this season, because this show has always been like that. they hide the little things things that are important for the plot among all the chaos that is happening and brush them aside like they are nothing, only for these bits to come up later in other episodes and be like SURPRISE!

as i said. the story is hiding something and is not as simple nor as obvious as Nandor and The Guide ending in happily ever after. As i said, the writers are not that stupid (or so i choose to believe). Rushing this relationship, magically make it appear out of nowhere, not only yes, would be a big "fuck you" to all those years they had the majority of their audience invested in the "will they or will they not" between nandor and guillermo (even if they were to become canon or not), but it will also make everyone hate this season so much because it would just feel so "?????", that i'm sure that's not what they want. especially this season focusing on nandor realizing how important guillermo is actually to him, but let's move on from that now.

can i be wrong? yes. can the writers also be this stupid? yes. but come on, we know that the writers even ship guillermo and nandor, i mean, the guys have been trying to get a kiss in there for who knows how long. so, honestly? i'm just not even gonna think too hard about this. i'm just gonna enjoy the show and see how things develop... and then maybe get annoyed after. not gonna lose my head over this right now.

I love them! I've only done it with my LOTR fics (with Sindarin) but I really love it. But I really love it when the language is different from the language of the settings? Like, if the story is happening in England and everyone is English, but you have two characters who can speak idk Dutch, let them have a Dutch language in their dialogue. I had a rant post about it not that long ago actually lmao You have to think about your in-universe language

“It means I’m waiting until marriage.” You explained. He paused for a moment, and he did try to convince you otherwise a few times, although he always stopped if he felt it was pushing you too far or if he thought you might say yes; you made up your mind years ago and he didn’t need that on his conscience, he loved you too much.

Steve takes another deep breath. In, out. He sees Eddie mirror him. Decides to be brave. “I was about to call you.”

Steve puts one of his legs in a lock he’d learned from wrestling, applying the barest hint of pressure, not trying to hurt but trying to prove that he’s there, and Eddie leans even further into the hold, to a point where Steve has to let go before one of them gets hurt, gets both his legs around both of Eddie’s and squeezes.

He squeezes and holds and cuddles and rocks and taps and rubs and does whatever he can to calm Eddie. He takes deep, measured breaths, only realizing the fourth time his breaks in the middle that he’s crying too, so he stops, just lets himself hold Eddie and fall into whatever pit they’ve dug.

Eventually his breath evens out, Eddie’s begins to, and Steve takes one last big, shaking breath before he’s able to guide Eddie’s breathing.

“Shit,” Eddie murmurs after a minute, face still buried in Steve’s neck. Steve just grins.

“Pretty much.”

Then they’re both laughing, mostly hysterical, almost trying to be quiet and Steve may not know about Eddie but his own laughter is because he’s just so fucking relieved, they made it, they’re battered and broken but they’re here.

“I know,” Eddie murmurs, and that’s when Steve realizes he said all that out loud.

He laughs once more before allowing his muscles to relax, just gently holding onto Eddie now. Eddie does the same with a huff that’s meant to be laughter.

“So,” Steve manages. “I’m guessing sleep isn’t happening after this?”

They break again, back into laughter, giggling like little kids, getting a little too loud but unable to care because they’re okay, they’re here, they’re safe now.

“You’d be right,” Eddie answers after a few minutes, still giggling, sitting up and wiping at his tears.

“Fuck,” he murmurs. “Sorry. That was…” he shakes his head.

Steve shakes his back. “Don’t apologize.” He pauses, swallows, whispers, “Please.”

“Okay,” Eddie says, just as quietly.
