haha i wouldn't really say i have one! i don't ship characters much anymore. if they have fun chemistry together though, or are canon like lucifer and lilith, ill appreciate and explore their dynamic.

husk and angel stand out the most for me. they get on well, and have the most interesting stuff going on with their characters individually as well as together. lucifer and lilith are fun for me to think about too, but only when they're apart/divorced, given lucifer is still in love with her and is really depressed about the separation lol

i love how fraught and complicated discourse around various utena characters ‘dying’ is when anthy is literally stabbed to death eternally by a million swords imbued with human hatred. and then utena gets stabbed to death by them also. like. ‘death’ is incredibly interesting in rgu because most of the time it’s this ambiguous figurative thing that has interesting implications re: ohtori as a closed-off world one can escape. we are all trapped in our coffins. mamiya is the only named character with a grave. nemuro memorial hall functions as one all the same. ruka is implied to have died in the hospital— was he dead all along? who was the boy we saw for these two episodes? is this dead boy the same boy, or is this just another coincidence from the shadow girls, cutting like a knife? it’s heavily implied that akio and anthy murder kanae by poisoning her, adding to the previous implication that they were poisoning mr ohtori too, but there are no perceptible consequences of this. kanae’s absence is not felt. she’s fed an apple slice. what happens to the bodies? we know what happened to the 100 boys, but what about everyone else? and so on and so forth. ‘death’ is a tricky thing in utena, i think it’s constantly functioning on figurative and literal levels in very different ways for very different purposes. dios died. dios was dying. dios didn’t die. he grew up. etc etc

It’s so wild to me that in ATSV everything surrounding The Spot is considered a canon event EXCEPT Miles. It’s interesting because Miles’s universe isn’t hindered or destroyed by Miles becoming Spider-man, there is no black hole or people being swallowed into it. And yet Miles is considered the problem and as a result not even considered a true Spider-man. Which, what a fascinating parallel to The Spot that is? Someone who through half the movie was not only underestimated but considered not worth that much effort or time. Just like Miles who is treated as unworthy of his title and his placement in the multi-verse.

I made these sketches the week SOTM launched, and I didn't think about posting them at the time. I recently looked at them again and thought "hmm, why not". In my own way, I decided to add a *little* color to make it a little more nice,and I edited the image *just* a little,and boom, here it is. My Riley Wells design. There's not much to say about the process of creating her design. I only used the portrait you find in the game as a reference, and I made a design of her at the time she joined JDS and then Gent. There's not much to say,really.

These were sketches made after I made an initial sketch of her to put the idea of her design on paper, and were made to help solidify and test out her design better. I haven't drawn her since.

So, yeah. They aren't much, and I don't have much to say about them. But I wanted to eventually show my design that I made of her. Plus, those sketches turned out quite nice,so there's that.

Other than a small idea that I don't know when I'll do, I don't have anything in mind that could result in drawing Riley again in the future. But hey, in case one day I end up wanting to draw her again, at least I have a design prepared for the occasion.

A rather random question that's been plaguing me for the past 15 minutes and I wondered about your thoughts: do you think before he left, Volo left any of his pokemon behind? Some he wouldn't get rid of, like his egg daughter Togekiss, but I can't see him taking Arcanine with him out of Hisui. For one, it likely has a Growlithe partner we never see (due to the pokemon's lore) and probably leaves them with Tuli and Ginter. A full team would attach unnecessary attention for someone on the run.

I couldn’t see Volo getting rid of his egg daughter Togekiss, or Garchomp, because these are Pokémon he’s had early on in the game. Our first fight with him, he only had his sweet togepi, and on our second fight, it’s togepi and gible.

And then the third time, when he fights us at the end, suddenly it’s a full team of Togekiss, Garchomp, Arcanine, Spiritomb, Roserade, and Lucario. How did that happen??

These are my first thoughts, so it could change over time, but I feel like this could narratively be explained by Volo realizing that our MC has what he wants, and that’s when he actively decides he’s going to take them down. So he gets a full team together, some of which can speedrun evolution with stones (roserade and arcanine).

I feel like the only Pokémon he has a genuine connection to would be his Togekiss and Garchomp. The others might have been pulled together just for this fight in an effort to overwhelm the MC. So when it’s all done, and Volo decides to leave, he might feel conflicted with these Pokémon that he possibly railroaded just for his own benefit. They did not need to be roped into this.

I could see him leaving some of his Pokémon with Ginter and Tuli, to help assist with ginkgo guild work when he leaves, and the only two he would keep would be his Togekiss, and his Garchomp.

Love this concept OP!! My thoughts on this might change over time from these initial ones; I’ll keep thinking on it!

It's actually very simple. I go to Twitter when I want multiple intense politically charged interactions with PVP enabled zones and niche hashtag feminisms (a subject I sadly neglected when I became a victim of wokeism). I go to tiktok when I need to turn my brain off and get fed serotonin and do funny little three-dimensional jokes with funny little audios and put my funny little three-dimensional face on the internet. I come to Tumblr when I need to see things specifically targeted to my immediate special interest so that I can separate them into individually decorated sideblogs with individually decorated themes and cool little titles and bios and I can write in the tags. I go to Instagram when I'm feeling narcissistic, and YouTube gets a turn when I'm in the shower or cleaning. So, will you be using cash or credit today

oh i am too but i've been to enough shows now since the vaccines got rolled out that i'm comfortable enough going to the theater as long as i'm in an n95 mask and got my boosters. i mean i managed to make it through two seasons as a woodwind player in an orchestra during covid pre-vaccination and managed to stay healthy so...idk, for me it's worth the risk. plus i did actually get covid last summer and while it Sucked i luckily had no lasting complications and was healthy again after a week (not that i'm eager to get sick again or risk complications later on -- i'm an oboist and i'm very precious about my lungs...!)

i do wish theaters would still require masks/vaccines but all i can do is try to protect myself and hope that other people will be smart too (and given my impression of nyc & met theatergoers in general i think it'll be okay...)
