i have to be so real. sometimes you have to outright not give a shit what the author thinks. i’m not saying to disregard how a character is portrayed and give into fanon characterisations but sometimes i will see fans be like “(head writer) omggg do you think this character is a good person?” “how would this character react if xyz happened?” as though that’s not a question you can and have to answer for yourself.! any character can contain multitudes and if you keep limiting your perception of them solely on word of god its not fun for the writer or even yourself anymore. There is no one way to be objectum, like there's no one way to be queer, disabled or person in general. It's absolutely ok to have preferences, it's absolutely ok to question yourself, try other labels or don't use them at all, as well as it's absolutely ok to not fall under special criteria entirely! You know yourself best, don't let others choose for you.

Being weird is ok, we're all weird here, nothing awful about it. Your love and happiness here doesn't harm others. Life is way too short to hide yourself and pretend to be "normal" just to be accepted by people who don't deserve to be near you in a first place. Think about it, if they hate you for something so harmless, just because you're not like them, how much time will pass before they do you wrong either way?

Humans are meant to be different, to explore the whole spectrum of experiences, don't say no to yours. And, please, don't do the same for others. It's absolutely ok to not agree with others or have preferences, as I mentioned, but we won't go far with hate and blaming each other.

There's always people who'll love you and be with you as long as you need, it's going to be ok, don't forget to drink water and have some time for yourself💙

Bit of a weird question to ask since the top/bottom dynamic is specifically for gay couples (mlm). It describes who gives it and who receives it ("it" being dick). It doesn't really work with hetero pairs because the man gives it by default. That's just how it works. Man = plug, woman = socket

So Burning Spice is the "top" bc of course he is haha. I don't think he's 100% dominant all the time, per se, I imagine them taking turns being the one "in charge" in bed (makes sense with who they are as individuals + how their relationship works imo). But there's more than one way to do that besides who puts the dick where. Example... Burning Spice is tied down to the bed so he isn't able to touch Golden Cheese while she rides him. If he tries to move or break free, he gets punished (like. He gets slapped or punched or something. Or she tightens the restraints enough to hurt*. Not being able to touch her is torture on its own tbh, everything else is extra). He's not allowed to squirm, he has to sit there and let her do what she wants without interference. He has to be a good toy/slave and let her use him. Stuff like that. He's still giving it but she's dictating how he does so ykwim

*I understand that he'd be into getting slapped around like that lol. He's a huge sadomasochist, he'd want to get roughed up just as much as he'd want to rough her up. He'd act out just to entice her to hit him again because he likes it. Then obey and do as she says because her being so domineering is hot af. Then do it all over again. He wins either way. (Only thing that sucks there is not being able to touch her tbh. He cannot keep his hands off of her, in bed and out of it. But she can atone for denying him this simple yet addicting pleasure another time...)

i am stretched fucking thin, my bank account is dwindling to keep up with everything. im going through insane health scares right now, chronic pain, anxiety so severe i want to fucking die, and a major chronic depressive episode to top it all off, i. am. exhausted.

you cannot deprive yourself of everything because when you do, there'll be nothing left of you. and who the fuck are you going to help then? the world is still happening, it's still turning despite the wars and genocides, despite the rising death toll of climate change, despite the threats to democracy. all we can do is put our effort where our mouth is, and take care of ourselves.

I think an interesting aspect of (admittedly a very specific type of) grief I don’t see portrayed very often is when suddenly you are older than the person you’ve lost.

When the clock ticks and suddenly you’ve lived longer than this person who’s always been older, who you looked up to. Suddenly, you’re having experiences they never made it to because they didn’t make it as far, ‘cause they were cut shorter than you.

And in your head they’re still older than you, because they always were, and that’s how you remember them. That’s not true anymore though. You need to deal with the dissonance every time you think of being an adult, because they never were one.

They’re older than you, but you’re an adult and they never will be. And I think it’s such an interesting experience and I would love to see it touched on more.
