It’s nasty and unhelpful

It gives the right plenty of ammunition saying that we’re a bunch of bloodthirsty commies (true but shhh)

Mike Pence would become President! Yeah! The guy who’d A, be far worse and far more effective at oppression than Trump has been, and B, would be much easier for the Right to rally behind, being significantly less of a controversial figure than Trump (from a Conservative perspective, not saying he’s not controversial, but he’s a lot less Out There and a lot more Put Together).

It’s better to hope that Trump and Melania suffer and use even a sliver of that experience to enforce COVID regulations. I’m not saying that’s a realistic hope, but at least it’s a more decent way of looking at things

So yeah uh please just. Spread the word to settle for Biden
