This started out as just "hey I like both of these characters what if they interacted," but after seeing Melody crying about Kacho in chapter 400 I really wanted to draw her with someone who Gets It

if no one else will give them a hug... can they hug each other :'(

Oito & Melody both have a tendency to freak out a bit in stressful situations, so I wondered if they might amplify that in each other haha. But on the other hand I could see them empathizing with each other and maybe being able to comfort each other? (or maybe I'm just a bit delusional lol)

Holding out hope that the writing in veilguard will get more bearable but rook saying to lucanis that it's "not nice that Spite hurt him" and he "shouldn't accept that it’s fine bc it wouldn't be ok if a person did that" like. I feel like over the month+, I have like 1-2 hours a day max where I feel relatively awake, and every other hour I'm fighting bone-deep exhaustion. I'll bring it up with my doc at my check up on monday, but tbh i know the solution so idk if she can help

And I can work-work when I feel half-dead, or rather I force myself to because I don't want my cats to starve, but when it comes to creative stuff, it's like my mind is slippery sludge dribbling out my eyes...

The Solution, of course: just stop working 3~10 AM every day (and then taking a short nap, working during the day, and then taking another short nap, hours vary but repeat), and maybe get at least 6, ideally 8 uninterrupted hours of sleep at least every other day, ideally every day.

But do I see that happening? No.

Like rn I know I desperately need to edit fic and reply to comments and do several arts but I'm nodding off at my desk after boss DMing me work at 5 AM and dealing with repair people since 8:30 AM...

um. uh. hi every body. something evil and malevolent happened in my brain this month.

this is. um. a Jet Set Radio/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Death joke AU, spawned out of a in-joke that started in a pokepasta discord. my apologies to both the pokepasta and jsr fandoms

the entire basis is the idea that Corn in Future retconned og JSR Beat as leader/founder of the GGs (is beat being leader in the og even CANON?) so Corn and Beat are the Myras. no it's not a joke funny enough to justify how many hours i sunk into drawing these. no attempt was made to change the setting, assign most of the other cast, or otherwise make this au hold up to ANY amount of scrutiny. if i tried to make this actually work somehow then i'd REALLY end up too far gone. also i keep calling myrtle!beat "Meat".

today is the first time since i started playing that i think i might not be able to solve le mot wordle...i've got the first and last letter and i'm running through all the french phonotactic rules i know and i'm coming up with nothing. got two rows left but i don't even have any guesses. ô dictionnaire ne me déçois pas quand je suis dans le besoin...

So it looks like Order Sol's body suit thing very probably covers his entire upper body up to his neck, unlike Ky's Holy Order uniform that has a shoulderless undershirt.

However, Ky's sprites don't have the bare shoulders either and the bare shoulder shirt has shown up consistently in illustrations since at least GGX.

Although, that bit of lining that goes around the openings on his undershirt are there on the sprites. It might be a case of a detail being left out to make the sprites easier to read at their scaled down size.

There are so many subtle differences between Ky's and Sol's Holy Order uniforms. I wanna make another post about that some day. But, for now, this is all I have because I need to get work done and thought it was interesting enough to share since I was looking up HOS references for a piece anyway.

i had a dream that i made little cards that say "THEY!" on them that i handed out to people at work who got my pronouns wrong, immediately after they got it wrong. and in smaller text (or on the back) it said "i don't want an apology, i want you to do better" or "don't say you're sorry, DO BETTER" and ..... i kind of want to do it. maybe i'll get some moo cards made lmao

various scenarios included:

me slamming it down on a desk in front of them.

instead i had stickers, would slowly peel one off while they watched, and stick it on it on them.

handing out a quarter sheet piece of paper based on the 'i caught being good' tags we'd get in kindergarten which said 'i got caught misgendering hallie/my coworker'. it would have their name and date on it and a giant 🙁 face. i had them as a pad of paper and would hold up a finger to say 'wait a second', dramatically pull it out of my back pocket, take my pen out of another pocket, slowly fill it out in front of them, and hand it to them while staring them in the eyes.

getting a whiteboard for the outer side of my cubicle wall that said '[days] since i was misgendred' (with a bonus by saying 'last offender: [name]'

i also dreamt that i got into trouble for it because i was making people feel bad and was 'creating a hostile work environment'. i was just like.... okay and how do you think i feel? and my boss shut up real fuckin quick. dunno if that would be the case irl but if that does happen i can only dream.

so I guess you guys liked dark side of me enough to ask for another part and I'm so happy cause I have a few ideas...

I kinda want to make it a series but I suck at writing series cause I start planning the plot and the characters and the development and that's fun and all but it gets overwhelming and I end up abandoning the project lol

so instead I think I'm going to structure it as a series of one shots connected to each other. It'll still be a series but instead of having a full fleshed out plot it'll be more of a collection of stories that show a glimpse into bucky and reader's relationship. That way I can go with the vibes and not worry about every detail making sense

I mostly want it to be smut. My idea was to have him show reader everything she's been missing 😏 the idea is to have a reader that's innocent and inexperienced but that's secretly looking to change that and she finds in bucky the perfect partner in crime. There will be more elements to it, I guess, but my vision is to use the plot as an excuse for the smut lol

but I'm open to any ideas or suggestions you might have! Even if it's an specific kink or scene you would like to see. Even tho I already have the plot for the next part kinda outlined, I would love if you guys became more involved with the story as it progresses and left your ideas or smut scenarios you'd like to see! I feel like I tend to write the same smut over and over again, which is fine, but I think this story has the potential to challenge that and maybe if you guys send me some ideas we can create someting different

But I get that will take time, first I have to get you guys interested in the story lol and I have to actually develop the relationship a little more so ypu get the vibe I'mgoing for (that's coming in the next part btw!!) I just wanted you to know my ideas cause some of you were interested in seeing more of them and I'm here to deliver
