LGBTQ+ Disabled Characters Showdown Round 4, Wave 2, Poll 5
A character being totally canon LGBTQ+ and disabled was not required to be in this competition. Please check qualifications and propaganda before asking why a character is included.
Check out the other polls in this wave and round here.
Ballister Blackheart-Nimona (Novel)
Qualifications:
He’s gay and an amputee
Propaganda:
He’s a lot more evil and also more established on what he’s doing than the movie. I think he’s neat, he does a lot more scheming and plotting and general shenanigans.
Suletta Mercury-Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury
Qualifications:
While this is something which only became a point in the last episode, in the finale of the show, following the big action parts, Suletta was shown to need mobility aids three years afterwards. Also in this timeskip, it is revealed that she has since gotten married to Miorine, who is another woman. Also I'm not autistic or trans but I have seen many people headcanoning her as both.
Canonically disabled by data storm infection, uses crutches on screen. Is married to her wife.
Canonically LGBTQ, as she is shown to love and later marry Miorine Rembran, a girl. Canonically disabled, as in the last episode, the Permet leads her to “lose control of her body” and even in the epilogue 3 years later, she is still using crutches and has not been able to get her body to the way it used to be before.
Suletta Mercury pushed herself to the limits of human survival at the end of the show, but survived. She's disabled and still uses crutches in the 3-year time skip. Her wife loves her and Suletta is still pursuing her dreams of creating a school.
Spoilers probably for the series. She is canonically engaged, later married to a woman, Miorine Rembran, and at the end of the series is shown to be physically disabled, with her both speaking on her physical therapy and her crutches being in several shots. Also she is written in a way that can be read as neurodivergent.
Partially paralyzed
Propaganda:
I love this character so much and I need everybody to as well. First of all, to get the biggest notes out of the way to establish why she qualifies (with major spoilers for episode 24), Suletta, after a three years timeskip, is shown to need crutches to get around a lot of the time. This fact is ultimately treated as an accomplishment on her part (/is never treated as a bad thing, just because I like clarifying this when it comes to any form of rep), since it took her some time to get to the point where she could move around at all. Also in this timeskip, the girl Suletta has been engaged to throughout most of the series, Miorine, has since become her wife, shown largely by the two of them having matching rings and Suletta's relatives being referred to as Miorine's in-laws. This makes Suletta the very first sapphic protagonist in Gundam. I've also seen headcanons or her such as her being autistic or transfem get popular. Getting to what makes me love her, Suletta, early on, is very easily intimidated in a lot of regards, largely because this is her first time actually being around anybody her age, but she's always been trying her best! She generally tries very hard to be positive and cares about those around her very much but can easily question her worth and is sometimes deterred. She is very willing to stand up and fight (usually in a literal way because she has won many mobile suit duels) when it most matters, a trait which remained consistent throughout the series, whether it's in regards to her role as a rescue piolet in the Cradle Planet short story, the drive which ultimately caused her to win the duel which initially got her engaged to Miorine in her first in-series appearance or the finale of the whole show. Suletta is somebody who has gone through a lot of hurt (especially in the series. Eps 17 and 18 put this girl through the wringer), and ultimately wasn't really raised to have too much autonomy. But despite everything, she keeps going. She's a very strong person who cares about those around her and I love her for it.
She is just the most joyful person ever who loves her wife.
Above, and: Vote for the newlyweds!
Everything above applies here. Suletta is shown to still not fully able to walk well without her crutches in the shot we get of her walking in the finale, her crutches are explicitly shown in several shots, and she openly talks about how her physical therapy is going to her, now wife, Miorine. On the topic of her and Miorine, they were engaged as of episode 1 with an iconic line from Miorine of "I guess Mercury is rather conservative. That sort of thing is commonplace here." in response to Suletta responding that she was a woman as a rebuttal about being Miorine's fiancée. Lots happens, and it's not uncommon to see either one of them yearning for each other, with a genuinely well written romance that leads to a happy ending with them explicitly married.
In the final battle of the series, Suletta highly exerts herself piloting a dangerous Gundam and significantly damages her body to save her family and fiancée. It's described that she was left mostly paralyzed from the neurological overload. Three years later, she still has significant scarring and needs to use crutches as a mobility aid, and talks about how her dexterity is "recovering." This means she was also disabled during her wedding with her wife, and they're shown with matching wedding bands as they discuss her health.
Anything Else?:
There's a whole lot more in terms of their relationship, and i've basically given a seriously lightened, budget sparksnotes version of it. Also, Suletta became disabled from a crazy battle for the finale, where she unleashed a giant rainbow data storm with a rainbow glowing Gundam. (Submitter 4)
The qualifications and propaganda paragraphs correspond, @insertbrowsinghere is the first submitter.

Look, spoiler alert, but Ada fucking dies at one point. Like properly dies.
She only gets to come back because Hector gets to the Forge before it's destroyed. Ada's mind isn't as old or as full as James Delos's and that's why it works.
Now, you may be asking me, 'But Prisma! It takes ages to design and make a host so how-'
This is why I left Lee alive! Haha! When Hector was being glitchy after Ada couldn't come to the park, Lee started working on a host replication of her to get him to work properly.
He knew her real person wasn't long for this world, so he was waiting for her to die before he put the host in rotation. So yeah, Delos just happened to have a vacant Adeline Rooney bot ready for her.
#It's convenient but at what cost?#I have an idea that her spine gets fucked in a fight in apocalypse world and they don't have time to rebuild her body before they leave#so after they get out she still needs her Crutches sometimes#idk tho#I just don't want to totally remove that aspect of her but I might#absolute corruption#prisma self ships

Injured
Alexia Putellas x Child!Reader
Summary: Mami gets hurt
When Mami hurts herself at camp, you aren't there.
She doesn't like you coming to camp with her. She says it's because it's much too big a place for a tiny little girl like you but you overheard Abuela telling Tia Alba it's really because Mami doesn't want you anywhere near the management staff.
Either way, you're not at camp. You don't even know what's going on when Abuela wakes you from your nap and brings you to the hospital.
Mami is there though, lying on a hospital bed with her leg in a brace as she stares up at the ceiling blankly.
You shift on your feet, gnawing at your bottom lip. "Mami," You say finally, voice small and weak," You hurted yourself?"
"Si," Mami replies softly," I hurt myself."
Boldly, you take a step forward and then another and then another until you're completely detached from Abuela and are standing at the side of Mami's bed.
"But...But you get better?"
"I'll get better," Mami promises but even she doesn't sound too sure.
"So you can play with the ball and win in England?"
Tears shine in Mami's eyes as she shakes her head. "Not in England, no. But later. I'll have to miss the Euros this year."
You frown for a moment, glancing at her knee. "But you'll be better?"
"I'll be better. We just have to wait a little bit longer."
Your brow wrinkles but you nod anyway and Mami turns to pick you up.
"Alexia," Abuela says in warning, stepping forward to take you.
"Leave her!" Mami snaps as she lifts you up and onto the bed," I'm not injured enough that I can't pick up my own daughter!"
You almost flinch at her tone. Mami doesn't yell like that often and it's a bit frightening but she's got you tucked firmly into her and it doesn't seem like she'll be letting you go anytime soon.
Her fingers card through your hair.
"Mami..."
"Si?"
"Are...Is...Erm...Is your knee hurted bad?"
"Mami needs to have surgery," Abuela says from the door," She's going to have it very soon. Why don't we head out to get some food while we wait?"
Mami glares at Abuela, tugging you ever closer. "She can stay here," She says firmly," Until I really have to go."
"Alexia," Abuela says," She'll aggravate your knee. Let me take her."
"I said no," Mami replies," She'll stay here with me. Why don't you step outside and call Olga?"
Abuela gives her a look but Mami holds firm in her decision.
"I'm sorry that you hurted your leg," You say after a long while of silence.
"It's okay," Mami says but her tone tells you that it's anything but," It just means that we have to take it easy for a bit, alright? It means that I get to spend a lot more time with you, huh? Won't that be nice?"
Your bottom lip wobbles. "Not if you're hurted. It's a big ouchy."
"It is a big ouchy but I'm going to have surgery, probably walk around on some crutches for a bit but it'll all be good again."
You hum in answer, still staring at her leg. "Why does Abuela need to call Miss Olga?"
"Well..." Mami moves you so you're lying on top of her, your head pillowed on her chest like when you were much littler. "Do you remember when Tia Jenni used to come around a lot? When you were a lot younger?"
You nod, careful to remain perfectly still so you don't hurt Mami's leg like Abuela said you would.
Tia Jenni used to come over a lot. She would always play with you and hang out with Mami and sometimes they would touch lips when they thought you weren't looking.
"And now Miss Olga comes round a lot instead?"
"Uh-huh."
"Well, Mami and Miss Olga are seeing if we like each other like Mami and Tia Jenni used to like each other. So, I think that she should be told what's going on so she can work out if she wants to stay with me."
You frown. "Why wouldn't she want to stay with you? You're the best, Mami!"
Mami laughs slightly though it's tinged with bitterness. "I'm injured, bambi, and I won't be able to walk properly for a while. Miss Olga might decide that she can't cope with that."
"That's silly. You're the bestest even if you can't walk, Mami."
"Thank you, bambi. At least I know we're going to be good on our own."
"I'll help you!" You promise," Because you're the bestest on the pitch and you just need a little bit of rest before you can go back." You peer up at her, watching as her hand cups your chubby cheeks. "I'll walk Nala and-and I'll help you walk too...Er...And if you tell me what to do, I can make dinner!"
Mami laughs again, raining kisses on top of your head just as the doctors and Abuela - who's still on the phone - come in.
"Alright, y/n," She says softly, setting you back down on the floor," I have to go now. Maybe, while you wait, you can talk to Miss Olga on the phone? Would that be nice?"
You nod firmly. "I'll tell her how great you are!"
"You do that, bambi."

“I’m sorry about your hair.” Nya says from the comfort of the bathroom doorway. Not inside, close to the halo of hacked brown locks, but not entirely outside- close enough to reassure but with a quick escape would be easy, if this conversation was unwelcome.
Dot makes a soft humming noise as she trims the fringe framing her face, her eyes exhausted but resolved as she makes sure the sides are perfectly even, “hair grows back.”
“Still, though.” Nya fidgets with the doorknob just to do something with her hands, “You loved your hair. Was there really no saving it?”
“The matting was too severe.” Dot says lightly, “Besides, even if there was a way to save it… well, it’s a bit too late now.” she sweeps chunks of her once long hair into the garbage bin by the toilet. The pixie cut is strange and foreign on her, to Nyas eyes. She’d only ever know Dot with hair long enough to brush her lower back.
Dot grabs her canes and makes her way towards the door. There’s still hair on the floor, but Nya wisely doesn’t comment on it. In all the years she’d now known Dakota, she was never one to leave a mess. She wasn’t okay, and Nya doubted that handing her a broom would do anything to help. She backs up so Dot can join her in the hallway, and she follows her as she heads to the kitchen.
“I’ve never seen your hair this short.” She says because she’s really not sure what to say, “Even in the pictures with you and Leo it was to your shoulders.” there’s a pause, “It looks nice!” She adds awkwardly, suddenly acutely aware she may not be making things better.
Though Dot doesn’t seem to mind. She grabs a water bottle and tucks it under her armpit as she leads Nya back out of the kitchen, “It was short most of my childhood.” She says conversationally, “Chemo started young so all my hair fell out, then after remission right as it started getting long I had a recurrence and had to go for another round. I kept it short out of habit for a while after that- not this short, maybe similar to how I had it cut in those old photos.”
Nya had long since stopped comparing Dot to Zane, but sometimes she’s still struck with just how different the two masters of ice were. When it came to difficult topics, you’d need a can opener to get Zane to cough up any details. Dot had no qualms discussing the traumas of her life, with only the great devourer attack being a sensitive subject- but even then, if you asked she was willing to discuss.
So why Nya thinks to herself am I so scared to ask about the Never Realm?
They go out to the garden along the side of the monastery, fresh flowers blooming and a sweet hanging screen hanging in the air. Dot settles down on the bench there, setting her crutches to the side and cracking her water bottle to take a sip. This had always been her favorite spot in the monastery, and doubly-so after the Never Realm. She sits out here in the sun for hours, soaking up the warmth and lost in thought. Nya sits down next to her, feeling only a little like she’s intruding.
“Are you okay?” she asks quickly, ripping off the bandaid.
Dot had her head back, basking in the sunlight when Nya asked. Her lips curl into a sad smile as she cracks her eye open to look at nya in her peripheral, “Of course not.”
And maybe this hesitation Nya was struggling through was rooted in that tiny little smile. That was the most emotion she’s shown in the days since she came back- a small, starved thing that struggled past the apathy settled like weights along her shoulders. That just wasn’t natural. Dot cried over spilt milk- she cooed at cute animals and pouted when she lost board games and laughed and smile so loud and so bright you knew she was happy two rooms away.everything Nya knows about her indicates the fall out should be an atomic bomb going off, but instead the monastery is quiet and still and Dot doesn’t do anything but sit out here in the sun.
“I’m sorry.” She offers again.
Dot sighs and Nyas never heard her sigh like that, either. A put-upon, tired thing. Exhausted, “I know you mean well, but i don’t really like to hear apologies when I’m having a rough day.”
Nya blinks. That was certainly news to her, “Oh, uh, I’ll try to stop then. Why haven't you said anything before?”
she closes her eyes again, “I heard it all the time as a kid. Started to really grate on my nerves, but I usually don’t say anything because I know it's largely a sign of sympathy. It feels rude to shoot someone's sympathy down like that… the truth is I just don’t like it.”
There’s a lull in the conversation. Nya doesn’t know where to go from here, so they just enjoy the sunlight together.
A light breeze ruffles Nyas hair right before Dot speaks again, “I know everyone is worried about me.” she states plainly.
“Yeah.”
“I’ll be okay.” Dot reassures her gently.
Nya looks away, “After seeing you up on that throne-” Dot flinches, but Nya barrels on, “I just don’t know how anyone could bounce back from that alone. We’re here for you, all of us are.”
There’s another long silence.
Nya continues, “...if there’s one thing I've always thought I knew about you, it's that you feel your emotions very deeply and very openly. I haven’t seen you cry once since you got back.”
The breeze liberates a few flowers from the dogwood above their heads and the white flowers trickle to the ground like falling snow.
Dakota swallows thickly and sits up more, she hesitates for a moment before speaking, “...I have had a lot of bad experiences throughout my life, Nya. I don’t think I’ve gone ten years without a new tragedy.” She starts, looking down at her hands where she is twisting her fingers together as she strings together her words, “granted, this is much different than just another hospital stay… but after each of those events I just needed time. A lot happened here, most of it stuff that I feel a great deal of shame, pain, and guilt over. I’m working though my thoughts and emotions mostly internally right now, because I don’t think I could handle the fallout if I fully unbottled these feelings just yet.” She explains.
“I just didn’t want you to feel like you had to go through this alone.”
“I’m not. I actually do have someone I’ve been discussing things with-” Her eye slickers to air next to her, but Nya’s looking at the flowers drifting in the wind and doesn’t quite catch that, “and I've slowly been letting the pressure off. Think of it like cracking a coke a little and waiting for the carbonation to go down? That way it doesn’t go exploding out of the bottle.”
Nya chuckles a little at that, “I like that analogy.” The grin slides off her face as she thinks everything over and Dot notices.
“Listen, Nya… when bad things happen, sometimes the only thing you can do is accept that this is the way it is. I can’t change the past, I can’t stop what has already finished, but I can choose where to go from here.” Dot smiles weakly again.
Several long moments pass as Nya really absorbs what Dot says before she responds. With a small returned smile, Nya leans over and bumps Dots elbow with hers, “Well, please remember you don’t have to figure it out on your own. you’ve got plenty of people who are here to help, okay? We love you.”
“I love you guys too.” Dot smiles again, and it’s genuine this time.

still on your Birds of Prey thing i have two(ish) things this time around, though feel free to ramble on other details too even if it wasn't specifically asked or mentioned first off, full permission to do an entire infodump on the ocs you have for this so far, i am very curious about all the details you got collected be it details you've mentioned before, changed, or new ones in general, again full permission for you to go nuts secondly, maybe it could be where only certain weapons allow the potential for breaking when used at advantage in the weapon triangle? like you'd have to buy a more expensive and more bulky weapon that has the benefit of being able to break weapons but again is more expensive and probably harder to wield(either just high in weapon rank or just like absurdly heavy to make it hard for the user to double) idk how well it would work, i'm not exactly known for my "making good Fire Emblem gameplay" expertise so take it with a grain of salt (if i ever dabble in fangames maybe i'll get some experience but today is not that day) (also yeah it be me again, i am also realizing i might have a double standard of wanting to hear about people's ocs in this fandom but then worrying that nobody wants to hear about my own, so i might blab on the ocs i have thus far for my au i'm working on sometime (hopefully) soon, heck i could even include some of the unnamed ones since you've even mentioned some unnamed ones yourself and i still think its cool to hear about!)
BIRDS OF PREY CHARACTER STUFF (not updating this post anymore, if you wanna know more then ask about a specific character or wait for the demo)
Read as much or as little as you'd like! There is a LOT so dont feel like you need to read all of it
Gameplay Character
Aelix
The Main Character of the game. Only has Swords at first but also gains access to staves alongside either light or anima when promoting. Her bases are similar to that of a myrmidon but growths are very balanced. Idk abt the personal skill.
At the start of the game shes pretty normal and well adjusted. A little spoiled and naive but thats how most princesses are in media. Anyway, after her dad and brother die in front of her she starts having a bad time and swears revenge on their assassins, The Flock - a group that claims to be bringing power to the people by enacting a revolution against the Hendeyrn Nobility.
After a while, Aelix's need for revenge dwindles and she begins to notice that the commoners are kinda struggling in Hendeyrn, and in a few other supports, learns that Royumec Commoners are also struggling. Also, The Flock is soon revealed to be a ploy for the Royumec Military to invade Hendeyrn to gain more land and resources without suffering proper retaliation.
Route split occurs and Aelix can choose to 1) defend Hendeyrn and carry on her fathers legacy, 2) Switch over to Royumec out of either naivety or apathy, or 3) Go against both kingdoms and create a people focused movement to improve both kingdoms. 3 leads to the most playable characters leaving/being unrecruited and having to be killed in combat while also having the most maps and being noticably harder.
She should be at the club but now shes gotta avenge her father's death an navigate a whole ass war. RIP girl. Also Very Bi with Mary.
Reinhold ???
Your typical Early Game Crutch. A great knight with high HP and Skill, B in Axes and everything else is bad. Hes only good bc he joins in the prologue. Probably benched by chapter 12. Idk about personal skill. Stays on only Defend route. You fight and kill him on the other 2.
Extremely serious and very intent on preserving the King's Legacy, rather than improving the kingdom or supporting Aelix and Lucille through what is quite literally the worst time of their life. Like yeah hes also not coping well but omg hes actively making it worse for the girls. His perception of the King is also so very incomplete as seen in a certain lategame Rev map. Also directly states in several supports that every knight is conditioned to be a disposable tool for the royal family to use :(
Lenore D'Swigen
Early game flier. Highest res in the game, good speed and decent enough magic to use a levin sword later. Low skill but thats partially offset by the accuracy of swords. Kinda low strength tho. Physical bulk is low enough to take large amounts of damage from archers. Safe from shining bows tho. Can also reclass into anima mage and isnt terrible there. No clue about personal skill. Stays on Defend Route, leaves but comes back on Revolution Route, and becomes an Optional Miniboss on Reinhold's Chapter in Betray Route (You only get a Levin Sword for killing your best friend btw)
Childhood friend of Aelix and heiress to a prominent house of Hendeyrn. Energetic but really clumsy. Also is very intelligent. Plays cards with mary in their support while they gossip.
Kester ???
Really solid Lance fighter. High strength, Def, Skl and Hp. Everything else is low. Can promote into spellspear but only has a 5% Magic growth. Go Halberdier instead. Can also reclass into cav. No clue about personal skill. Stays on all 3 routes. Yay!
Extremely formal at all times, only loosens up with Gareth (Drunk), Kaen (Gets bullied by a teenage girl lmao), Henryk (3h style support chain where they state their issues in case you can't figure out the very obvious subtext) and the Revolution Route A support with Aelix (You're fired btw. wanna be friends now?)
Hal ???
Axe Fighter from Chapter 1. Highest Hp in the game, good Strength, Decent Defence and Luck, Okay Spd and Res, Bad Skl and only 5% Magic. No clue about personal Skill or Reclass options. Stays on All 3 routes! :D
Himbo Malewife who's straight up not having a good time knowing he has killed people. Loves cooking and cleaning and all that.
Niall ???
Most Thief Thief to ever Thief. Highest speed in the game, and also good skill. Okay Luck and Res and everything else sucks. Will chip enemies, steal items and be very evasive late game. Stays on Defend and Revolution Routes. Dissappears entirely on Betray Route.
Very Mischievous and loves pranks. Not much to say tbh. Also has a kill quote where he says hes gonna rob the enemy's corpse ig.
Mary Malheur
The early game healer. Joins Chapter 1 and is always available. C Staves and D Brawling. Has very solid mixed bulk that will only continue to get better, Good Strength and decent Luck. Middling Speed and Skill don't really matter when using an accurate and brave weapon type. Her base magic is enough for early game and you won't start feeling her low growth until midgame.
On top of all that, because she is technically a brawler, meaning she has access to Combat Arts. At Lvl10 unpromoted, she gains access to Defiant Dragon Art, which boosts her Def/Res/Luck by a decent amount until the beginning of next turn (and has a cool interaction with one of her promoted abilities). Upon promotion to War Monk, she gains the Solar Strike art, which restores health. At Max Level, she gains Phoenix Flight art. This is unlimited galeforce for just 12 hp. Like yeah she only gets 1 punch in and will probably be taking additional damage from counterattacks, but even then this is really amazing bc she can use her full 6 movement multiple times a turn.
But if you don't care about all that you can just reclass to wyvern instead.
Indecisive. Sleepy. Likes games. Has several supports that explore the pressure of the expectations placed on her because of her intelligence and potential. Also mentions that healing staves will just prolong and make the death much more excruciating when used on a nearly dead person without explaining where she got that knowledge from in her support with Harsent.
Thank you Mary for keeping the army together throughout the early game Aelix couldn't have done it without u. the midgame probably also. I wish you 2 the best on your wedding <33333333333333
Jaspar ???
The most armoured armour to ever armour. Highest Def in the game, high HP and Strength, Solid Skill and Luck, Terrible Speed and Res. Can also reclass into Archer for some reason. Recruited Chapter 2, Stays on Defend Route, but is an optional miniboss on both Revolution and Betray route. Technically can be rerecruited on rev route but its really hard.
Training obsessed bisexual weirdo(affectionate). Wants to be a really good Knight and be as helpful as possible. Really bad at dealing with the fact that everything will change and nothing is permanent.
Harsent ???
Cavalier. Very balanced stats. So balanced that her growths are somehow within 5% of the average for everything except magic. I didn't even plan this im just as surprised as you are lmao. Can also reclass into Sword Fighter. Stays on Defend Route, can be easily rerecruited on Rev and is an optional miniboss on Betray Route.
Very dedicated to being a knight. Several of her voice lines would imply that she would simply sacrifice herself if Aelix asked. which is. concerning.... Like 70% of the cast needs therapy tbh :(
Ricon ???
Early Mage. Amazing Magic and Res, Good skill, Decent Hp and speed, high base strength but hes a mage and has a low strength growth, also terrible defence and luck. Can reclass into archer (Shining Bow Niche 👀👀👀). Available throughout all 3 routes.
Loves Researching magic and teaching stuff to others. Very intelligent. Overuses magic for mundane things. Sir, a wind spell is gonna blow the clothes away before they dry. Likes sweets and is just a lovable dork who happens to look really intimidating.
Fletcher Holz
Early archer. High strength, speed and skill, low res and everything else is mid. Can reclass into Axe Fighter. Available throughout all 3 routes.
Just some guy tbh. Likes meat. Decent Chef. also hes transmasc.
Gareth ???
Brawler. High health, Decent Defence and everything else is mid. Combat arts include Beastslaying Art (effective against monsters) and Full Force Art (Extremely high might). Also gains Five Star Strike (Astra for 12 HP) at max level. Can reclass into Cavalier. Available for all 3 routes.
Massive Flirt. Takes very little seriously. Accidentally ends up acting like a father to Kaen and Niall.
Alastor von Belleau
This bitch. This asshole. Joins in chapter 4 as a Lvl 5 Troubadour. C Staves and E Rank Anima. Much faster than Ricon but also has lower magic and Anima rank so typically you'll only be seeing 5×2 in combat forecast and cant use any funky spells for a while. Substantially squisher than Mary but has a horse. Personal skill gives 20% extra exp gain to adjacent allies. Suspiciously dissappears a few chapters before route split.
This Royumec Noble enjoys baking and having tea and reading and going on walks and taking care of his horse and is great at taking care of others.
"Oh he sounds nice and helpful" Oh you fool. Thats what he wants you to think. The Royumec Nobility has created The Flock and assassinated Thades and The King. And this bitch is one of them. On the route split, it is straight up revealed that he was a part of the plan and acted as a spy. This asshole then tries to manipulate Aelix into betraying her kingdom.
"We were trying to improve the live of your citizens" (Lie, you were fighting for land and resources), "We actively chose to spare you"(Lie, why were your soldiers attacking Aelix and Co during Chapters 2, 3 and 4), "and your sister" (Ommission of information, you thought that the 16 year old would be easy to manipulate or intimidate into doing what you want), "You trust me, right? We're friends" (Half Lie, Aelix may have seen you as a friend but you certainly didn't see her as one), etc.
Obviously, on Betray Route, he is with you for the rest of the game; However, he actually joins you later on in the other 2 routes because he doesn't want to die (okay thats fair). Joins as a Strategist and can reclass into Trickster or Assassin. Has Great Magic, Res and Speed alongside decent Skill and Luck but terrible HP and Def. 7 personal strength is less terrible than you'd expect but you'll still usually see single digit damage when reclassing him to Assassin or Trickster.
Kaen Karamela
Your second axe fighter. Joins in chapter 5 and is available in all 3 routes. Highest Strength in the game, Good HP, Spd, Skill and Luck, Low Def and Res. Personal skill grants +1 Crit per HP below max. Can also reclass into Lance fighter to grab Vantage.
Kaen is the obligatory minor who really should not be fighting. Girl loves partying and also bullying grown ass men. Her 18th birthday will be a few days after one of the final chapters to specifically have her joke that she has fought in and ended a war before being able to drink alcohol. Canonically Lesbian.
Sarre ???
Early Sword Fighter. Joins Chapter 6 and stays on all 3 routes. Amazing Speed and Great Skill but Underwhelming strength and terrible luck. Can reclass into Axe Fighter.
Not having a great time after her husband left her. Is now in debt bc of his gambling and is trying to pay it off with mercenary work. Left her son at his grandparents so they can raise him while she works. has an arc that changes her for the better. idk how to explain it tho.
Isake ???
Early Light mage. Joins chapter 6 and stays on all routes. Great Defence and magic, Good Hp, Res and Luck, but low speed. Being a Light Mage, Isake gains access to various defensive spells such as Def/Res improving spells, Critical prevention, Draining magic and follow-up prevention. Can reclass into Anima Mage.
Very wise, Kind to all, Patient, Loves giving gifts, very perceptive, etc. Enjoys reading and bird watching.
Klara Varela
A midgame Dark Knight. Only available on Rev route. Only 5% strength and Magic growths but has great bases in those. Best Skl in the game, High speed, everything else is decent. Personal skill grants 1 stack of advantage to Klara if enemy can't counter. This also applies to Dark Magic summons and synergises well with seige tomes. Can reclass into Sorcerer, Halberdier and Spellspear.
Probably has the stongest endgame build (Chaos Style+Vantage+Luna+Ignis+Quixotic as a Spellspear) Ignis and Luna can activate on the same atk btw. High Skill + Personal + Chaos Style + Quixotic leads to her having activation rates in the 70-90% range. Vantage singlehandedly enables this build to work on enemy phase too. Enjoy seeing 50s most hits :). I think plus sized women should be allowed to be op.
(Community mage almost has this build but cant pull it off very well bc no Vantage, lower skill, probably no helpful personal skill for this build, much lower strength and Bulk too low to reliably take multiple hits in case of failure. Sorry!)
Everyone else is in a generally serious war game with political intrigue. Klara is in a comedy. She is a trickster who is constantly playing pranks on people and annoying most by being so deeply unserious. Extremely confident and knows her worth. Has exactly one serious conversation.
Runs the secret shop in all 3 routes but it doesn't have energy drops or spirit dusts because she eated them all. Also straight up drags a guy from the enemy army to fight for you against his will and treats him like her new bestie and drags him everywhere. He hates it. Queen. Love her. Hope she never stops. Tranfem, Aro and Ace.
Adam
Mid game Def and Rev route Wyvern Lord. High Strength, Hp and Def, Decent Skl, Low Res and Luck. Personal skill is a 20% heal after defeating an enemy.
A mercenary hired by Rosahel to help in the war effort. Loves murder a not normal amount. Also the guy that Klara forces into joining your side. That's about it.
Anna von Ernest
Only available in Betray Route. Still has Make a Killing. idk anything else.
You know her.
Henryk ???
This guy is so crazy. Joins in a late paralogue as a Trickster. Extremely Underwhelming stats for a late game unit: Lower strength and magic compared to other units, Middling mixed bulk, Skill and Luck. Only has good speed and Great weapon ranks (A staves, A Daggers). Like a thief but less extreme. Can also reclass into Assassin, Sorcerer and Dark Knight
"So the crazy thing about him is that hes a bad endgame unit who has warp and rescue access" Wrong! His personal skill, Unmask, is the crazy thing about him. He gains 2 stacks of advantage (+15 hit, 10% skill activation, 5 crit and 2 damage dealt per stack) while inflicting enemies with 2 stacks of disadvantage (advantage but reversed) if there are no b support or below allies within 3 spaces. King hides 4 Str/Mag/Def/Res and 10 Spd/Skl/Luck from everyone lmao. Already has an a rank with Thades :)
As i said in the last long FE:BoP post, Henryk managed to raise Thades from the dead somehow. The process was expensive and time intensive as it used dark magic, healing staves, advanced Royumec technology and surgical precision. At first, the dark magic was thought to have taken away some of Thades' agency and given Henryk a substantial amount of control over him and altered his memories, but that was soon discovered to be false.
Henryk likes to appear as unhelpful and incapable as possible to get out of doing work, but is completely fine with putting in effort for those close to him. He enjoys architecture and gardening and in all of his endings, he ends up being a famous architect.
Thades
Joins in a late game Rev route paralogue alongside Henryk. Same Class as Aelix and Lucille. Compared to Aelix, he has much higher Def and Skl and slightly more strength at the cost of much lower Res and Luck and Slightly less speed. Similar Magic and HP. No clue about personal skill. Can reclass into Falcon Knight.
So Unbelievably gay with Henryk. Very emotionally closed off. Hilarious how technically having their father die made him and Aelix get their partners. Anyway, his support with Aelix reveals that they never felt that close to each other bc he was always busy learning how to run things as crown prince while Aelix and Lucille were doted upon and constantly praised by their father.
In the final(?) Rev Route map, Thades has boss dialogue with The King (he came back) where he asks The King if he remembers a simple memory from when Thades was a child. The King says yes, but Thades reveals that the event went completely differently and figures out that The King hasn't been revived like him but instead is The S Rank Dark Magic being used to create a copy of one of noble's perception of him.
In both his Endings, he helps out with managing the restructured nations.
Ill talk about everyone else in later i had to rush this out for today lmao
also feel free to ask more questions, tell me your overall thoughts or even talk about your headcanons for the characters or how you imagine they look
Anyway time for question 2's answer: I figured that break maybe should only be for units with breaker skills (Halberdiers w/ Swordbreaker, Lightbearers w/ Shadowbreaker, etc)
To Do: Summer, Silvester, Yvette, Manon, Jed, Lex, Rosahel, Valstyr, Lucille, The King, Nikita, Siobhan, more characters when i think of them

Between the Ropes... a Jey Uso x Rhea Ripley Fanfic
Chapter 4: Ressurection
The early morning air was crisp as Damian Priest and Jey Uso stepped out of the Waffle Window after breakfast. The duo had been sharing laughs, swapping stories from the night’s matches, and enjoying the brief moments of calm before the chaos of WWE’s next show. Despite what Damian saw last night, he was surprised Jey could keep a straight face about everything..
“So, where to next, bro?” Damian asked, patting Jey on the back.
“I’m thinking the mall. Could use a new pair of kicks,” Jey said with a grin.
“Man, I’m down. Let’s go.”
The mall wasn’t far from the restaurant , and as they walked through the entrance, it wasn’t long before fans recognized them. Damian was quick to flash his signature smirk as a group of teenagers approached.
“Yo! Damian, Jey! Can we get a selfie?”
“Of course,” Damian replied, pulling Jey into the shot with the fans.
Jey threw up his *Uso* hand sign, flashing his usual playful smile. “Y’all better tag us, alright?”
The fans laughed, already typing away on their phones as they posed. Damian and Jey continued their stroll through the mall, keeping it low-key while signing autographs and posing for the occasional picture.
“Feels good, don’t it?” Damian said, glancing over at Jey.
Jey chuckled. “Yeah, bro. It does. But you know, sometimes all this attention can get in your head.”
Damian raised an eyebrow. “You good?”
Jey gave him a side glance. “Yeah, man, I’m good.” He forced a smile, but deep down, the reality of juggling his personal life, the affair with Rhea, and the growing pressure was weighing on him. He pushed the thoughts aside, determined not to let Damian see through his façade.
—
Meanwhile, Rhea sat in the doctor’s office, her mind wandering even as she tried to focus on her upcoming appointment. She couldn’t stop thinking about Jey—his smile, the way he made her laugh, and the growing complexity of their relationship. She knew it was dangerous, but the pull was irresistible.
The doctor walked out and said, “Rhea I’m ready for you..”
As she entered the examination room, she shifted her weight slightly, trying to hide the fact that she was still in pain. She hadn’t used her crutch since arriving in Portland, and though she had managed to mask her discomfort, the dull ache in her ankle was a constant reminder of the injury.
“Alright, Rhea,” the doctor said as he entered the room, immediately looking down at her ankle. “Let’s take a look.”
She pulled up her pant leg as the doctor inspected the injury. He gave a soft sigh, shaking his head.
“I don’t see your crutch, Rhea,” he said, a hint of frustration in his voice.
Rhea shrugged nonchalantly. “I stopped using it when I got here. It’s a pain to carry around, and I’m managing just fine without it.”
The doctor raised an eyebrow. “Managing just fine? You’ve been injured for two weeks, and you’re already walking without support? That’s a surefire way to make things worse.”
Rhea smirked. “I’ve had worse. Plus, I just wanna get this out of the way and heal quicker. Don’t wanna break kayfabe, right?”
The doctor chuckled, shaking his head. “Ah, kayfabe. Always keeping you wrestlers on edge, huh? Well, let me tell you something, Rhea. You might not want to be seen with that crutch, but you don’t want to make this worse. I’m telling you—you need to be careful.”
He pressed lightly around her ankle, causing her to wince. “See? Still tender. You can keep going like this if you want, but I strongly advise you use that crutch. Trust me, you don’t want to prolong this injury. The last thing you need is a setback.”
Rhea sighed, nodding. “Yeah, I hear you. It’s just... I’ve been handling it.”
“I know,” the doctor said, offering a sympathetic smile. “But don’t be a hero. You need to heal up properly. And, let’s face it, you’ve got a pretty intense schedule. This injury isn’t just going to go away because you want it to.”
“I know, I know,” Rhea muttered, rubbing her temples. “It’s just... I’ve got a lot going on. Being on the sidelines wasn’t exactly part of the plan.”
The doctor handed her the prescription for more Tylenol. “I get it. But take care of yourself, alright? Don’t let the pressure of kayfabe rush your recovery.”
Rhea smirked, appreciating the doctor’s understanding. “Thanks, Doc. I’ll keep it in mind.”
As she left the office, her phone buzzed again. This time it was the *Judgment Day* group chat lighting up.
Dom: “What’s up, Rhea? You doing alright? Liv’s good and all, but we still miss you and Damian.”
Finn: “Yea’ we miss the OG days. It was better when it was just us.”
JD: “I guess that Apple spittin’ dude is okay.”
Carlito:“You know I’m here too, that’s not cool.”
Rhea smiled at the messages. Despite the split, there was still a lot of love between them. The recent promo with Dom and Liv had been fun, but things had shifted after *Judgment Day* brought Liv and Carlito into the fold. She couldn’t deny that she missed the crew—the camaraderie, the chaos.
Finn:”Heard from a bird that Jey’s bunking with you and Damian. What’s up with that?”
Rhea felt her pulse quicken at Finn’s words. She quickly typed back, trying to sound nonchalant.
Rhea: “Yeah, Jey’s with us. It’s no big deal. Just a one time thing yaknow”
She hit send, hoping her response would quell any curiosity. Finn always had a way of prying when things seemed out of place, and the last thing she needed was for him to figure out the truth about her and Jey.
As she walked back toward the hotel, her mind drifted back to Jey. The tangled web of emotions, secrets, and consequences weighed heavy on her, but she couldn’t stop herself from thinking about him. She knew they were playing with fire—but she wasn’t ready to stop. Not yet.
—
Rhea walked into the hotel suite, the tension in her chest building with each step. The doctor’s appointment had been frustrating, but she knew she had to keep pushing forward. The suite was eerily quiet without Damian or Jey around. She tossed her bag on the couch and stared at her phone for a long moment. The message from Jey lingered on her screen, and her thumb hovered over the keyboard. She was torn—reaching out to him felt dangerous, but the silence between them felt worse.
With a sigh, she decided to hit the gym, desperate to clear her head. As Rhea pushed herself through her usual brutal workout routine, her mind drifted back to Jey. The affair had started with a spark of excitement, but now, it was spiraling out of control. She tried to shake off the thoughts, focusing on the weights in her hands, but the growing connection between them kept pulling her back in.
After a while, she felt the pain in her ankle nagging at her, but she pushed through it. It had been two weeks since the injury, but she still hadn’t fully healed. After a fan approached for a quick picture and autograph, she decided to call it quits for the day. Rhea knew she was taking a risk by interacting with the fans—especially since she wasn’t using her crutch. She didn’t want to break kayfabe, but so far, no one seemed to notice.
After a quick shower, she headed down to the hotel pool, hoping the water would help her relax. Just as she was settling in, her phone buzzed again. Jey. She bit her lip, debating whether to respond, when she heard someone call her name.
"Rhea?"
She looked up to see Sami Zayn walking toward her, his expression casual, but there was a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
"Hey, Sami," she said, her heart rate quickening. Of all people, Sami was the last person she wanted to run into right now. He had always been too perceptive for his own good, and he had a knack for asking the wrong questions at the worst times.
Sami sat down on the lounge chair next to hers, stretching out casually. "Didn’t expect to see you here. Figured you’d be resting up after the whole... ankle situation."
Rhea's brow furrowed. "How did you hear about that?"
Sami chuckled. "I was on a Zoom call with Adam when your doc called him. You know, saying you should cool it with the ankle. You’re not even using the crutch now."
Rhea shrugged, brushing off the concern. "It’s an annoyance, really. I’m managing."
Sami nodded but didn't look entirely convinced. He leaned back, his eyes scanning the pool area before turning back to her. "So, I heard a little something... Jey’s staying with you and Damian?"
Rhea’s heart skipped a beat, but she kept her face neutral. "Yeah. Damian invited him. It’s no big deal."
"No big deal?" Sami chuckled softly. "I mean, it's Jey Uso we're talking about. You guys are in totally different storylines, and suddenly he’s bunking with the Terror Twins? Doesn’t seem like nothing."
Rhea tensed, feeling her stomach twist. She had to be careful—Sami wasn’t someone she could easily brush off. "He helped us out the other night. Damian wanted to say thanks, so he invited him to crash with us. It’s just for a few days."
Sami’s eyes lingered on her for a moment, and she could tell he wasn’t fully buying it. "I get that, but you know how it looks, right? Jey’s got a lot going on, and the Judgment Day? Well... let's just say it's weird seeing you guys all buddy-buddy."
Rhea leaned forward, her voice lowering slightly. "Look, Sami, I know how it looks, but it’s really nothing. We’re just trying to keep things professional. Besides, you know how unpredictable things can get around here."
Sami studied her for a moment before nodding slowly. "Yeah, I know. Just be careful, alright? Jey's got a lot of eyes on him these days. You don’t want to get caught in the crossfire."
Rhea forced a smile. "I’ll be fine."
Sami stood up, adjusting his hoodie. "Alright, I’ll see you around. Take care of that ankle."
As Sami walked away, Rhea exhaled a breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding. The tension of the encounter weighed heavy on her, and she stared down at her phone again, Jey’s message still unread.
Jey: Let’s sneak into a room tonight…
---
Meanwhile, across town, Jey and Damian finished up at the mall, laughing and signing autographs for some fans they ran into along the way. The distraction had been nice, but as they headed back to the hotel, Jey’s thoughts kept pulling him back to Rhea. He had no idea how to navigate this—being with her felt right in a way he didn’t want to admit, but the guilt was becoming unbearable.
Every time he saw his wife’s name pop up on his phone, it was like a punch to the gut. How could he keep doing this? He had built a life with her, a family. Yet every time he was with Rhea, he found it impossible to resist. The late nights, the stolen moments—it was thrilling and devastating all at once. He didn’t want to lose his marriage, but with Rhea, it felt like a fire he couldn't put out. He had told himself countless times that it would stop. But every time he tried to pull away, he found himself deeper in.
As they got into the car, Damian glanced at him. "You good, man? You’ve been quiet all day."
Jey nodded, keeping his eyes on the passing streets. "Yeah. Just tired, you know?"
Damian didn’t press, but he wasn’t convinced either. "You gotta stop burning yourself out. We’ve still got Raw to think about."
Jey forced a grin, but his mind was somewhere else entirely. The pull toward Rhea was becoming unbearable. It was a line he knew he shouldn't have crossed, but now, it was too late to turn back.
Back at the hotel, Rhea was sitting by the pool, lost in thought. Her encounter with Sami had rattled her more than she’d let on. She knew people were starting to talk, and the last thing she needed was rumors swirling around her and Jey. But the more she tried to pull away, the deeper she seemed to fall. Her phone buzzed again—this time a message from Damian telling her they were on their way back. She sighed, still staring at Jey’s unread message.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Rhea knew she was running out of time to figure out what she wanted from this twisted situation. The affair with Jey had to stop... but deep down, she wasn’t sure she could let go.
—
Later that afternoon, the suite was quiet. After a long morning of meeting fans and a chaotic mall visit, Rhea, Damian, and Jey returned to their shared hotel suite, ready to unwind before heading out for dinner.
Damian, ever the one to crash first, stretched out in the oversized chair by the window. "I’m gonna catch a quick nap," he mumbled, pulling his hoodie over his head as he adjusted into a comfortable position. His exhaustion quickly overtook him, and soon enough, the soft sound of his snores filled the room.
Rhea sat on the edge of the bed, her thoughts elsewhere, glancing every so often at Jey, who was lounging on the couch across the room. The tension between them felt thick, almost suffocating. Ever since breakfast, and especially after running into Sami at the pool earlier, Rhea couldn’t shake the weight of everything.
The guilt was starting to creep up again, but so was the pull toward Jey. They had been sneaking around for months now, but each time felt more dangerous. And with Damian asleep and the quiet settling over the room, temptation was rising once more.
Rhea took a deep breath, stealing one last glance at Damian to make sure he was still asleep, and then quietly slipped off the bed. She tiptoed toward the door, her heart racing as she carefully turned the handle and stepped out into the hallway. The suite was large, with Jey’s room just down the hall, but every step she took felt like a risk.
As she reached Jey’s room, she tapped lightly on the door. It opened almost instantly, as if Jey had been waiting for her. His expression was unreadable, but there was something in his eyes that mirrored the conflict she felt inside. He stepped aside, letting her in.
Inside the dim room, the tension between them was immediate. They stood there in silence, the weight of their actions hanging in the air like a storm cloud about to burst. Jey’s eyes flicked down to Rhea’s hand, and without a word, she reached up and slid off her wedding ring. The simple band felt heavy in her fingers, and for a moment, she hesitated, staring at it before placing it on the small table by the door.
Jey watched her, his own conflict playing out across his face. After a moment, he followed her lead, slowly removing his own wedding ring and setting it beside hers. It was a quiet, unspoken acknowledgement of what they were doing—crossing a line that was getting harder and harder to ignore.
"I’ve been thinking about you all day," Rhea admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jey sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I’m trying not to think about you," he said, his tone heavy with guilt. "But it’s getting harder."
Rhea stepped closer, her heart pounding. "We’ve already gone this far."
Jey let out a slow breath, his mind flashing to his wife back home, completely oblivious to the affair that was consuming him. He was torn, battling between his feelings for Rhea and the life he’d built outside of wrestling. He glanced down at his bare finger where his ring had been just moments ago. The guilt weighed heavily on him, but so did his desire for her.
"We can’t keep doing this," Jey muttered, his voice rough. "It’s gonna catch up with us, you know that, right?"
Rhea’s lips curled into a small, bittersweet smile. "Maybe," she whispered, stepping closer until there was barely any space between them. "But right now... I don’t care."
Jey’s heart hammered in his chest. He knew he should walk away. He should stop this before it went any further. But with Rhea standing so close, her breath warm against his skin, his resolve crumbled.
Without another word, the distance between them disappeared. They both knew the risks, knew what they were putting on the line, but neither of them could resist. As they came together, it felt like everything else faded away. For now, in this stolen moment, nothing else mattered.
As Rhea and Jey closed the distance between them, the tension that had been building all day reached its breaking point. Their eyes locked in a gaze that was both intense and desperate, and all their doubts seemed to melt away in the moment.
Jey's hands gently cupped Rhea's face, his thumbs brushing softly against her skin. She leaned into his touch, her eyes fluttering closed as she savored the warmth of his hands. Their lips met in a slow, lingering kiss, filled with the hunger and longing that had been simmering beneath the surface for so long.
The kiss deepened, growing more urgent as their bodies pressed together. Jey's hands moved to her waist, pulling her closer until there was no space left between them. Rhea responded eagerly, her hands roaming up to tangle in his hair as she lost herself in the moment.
They moved together with a sense of familiarity, their urgency tempered by the need to stay quiet. Every sound was muffled, their breaths shallow as they tried to remain silent to avoid waking Damian, who was just a room away.
Rhea was dressed in an oversized shirt and loungers, her casual attire only enhancing the intimacy of the moment. Jey's hands roamed over her shirt, pushing it up slightly as he kissed her neck, his lips grazing her skin with a mix of tenderness and desire.
He carefully guided Rhea toward the bed, both of them acutely aware of the need for discretion. As they lowered themselves onto the mattress, the soft rustling of the bedclothes was the only sound, blending with their quiet, passionate whispers.
Their clothes were shed with a mix of haste and reverence, every movement calculated to keep noise to a minimum. Rhea's shirt was pushed up and Jey's shirt was removed as they worked to disrobe as quietly as possible. The intimacy between them was both fierce and gentle, a reflection of the complicated emotions that had led them to this point.
Every touch, every kiss was a reminder of their connection, the urgency of their desire contrasted with the need for silence. They were lost in each other, their shared passion overpowering the guilt and conflict that had been gnawing at them.

I have nothing to post today bc I've been incredibly busy so I am reposting headcanons I posted a while ago. Mutual who will likely see this shhh. Also this is going to be a LONG post so buckle up
- Foolish and Bad are both minor deities from seperate sides of life. Foolish is a god of life and living, while Bad is a minor trickster god that wriggled his way into a grim reaper position on the weekends. In a way, they're enemies, but one can't exist without the other.
- The Cucuruchos (aka 'Smile Bots') are robots. However, they don't hold a collective consciousness, meaning you theoretically could make friends with one of them, while another barely knows who you are.
- The Cucuruchos don't write in books, they print a piece of paper from their mouths. Adding on to that, their mouths never move, though they can blink and look around, which makes them have an unsettling nature to them like animatronics. The Federation is constantly making changes to make them seem more friendly.
- The winged people (ex. Phil and Jaiden) that have been on the island for long enough have noticed their feathers growing back after being clipped, leaving them hopeful for a chance out, but before they ever grow back enough, they wake up to them clipped all over again. I believe this affects Phil the most, especially the first time it happened. He went as far as to hide his wings when he first saw them growing back, just in case the Federation wouldn't notice, and when he saw them clipped again he was distraught. He was furious. He punched a hole in his wall. Think of him yelling at QSMP when the eggs came back with cracks, like that. How dare they clip his wings? How'd they get in his house? This could have been a chance to escape the island with his family. But it was gone. He still hurts every time it happens after that, but it's not as bad as the first time.
Jaiden is more sad and humiliated. Whenever this happens, Roier understands that she needs to be alone, and takes care of Bobby for the day. Later that night, Bobby finds her in her room and crawls into her lap, telling her about his day while Roier makes dinner downstairs. Now that Bobby's gone, it's harder, but often times they both just lay together in Bobby's old bedroom, comforting each other with just their presence.
- Fit smoked cigars before he got Ramon. Spreen didn't really give a shit, but when Ramon started teething he found one and tried to chew on them, so Fit threw them out. Now he just stocks up steroids
- With the tickets, each pairing was given something to connect them to their partners. Colored bracelets, necklaces, earrings, patches, anything. They give off different signals- when the partner wakes up, is injured/downed, and gives off a ping to locate the other. That is, of course, if they wear them. Bads link pings, and he follows it, but no matter how far he goes, he never gets any closer. His match is out there, somewhere, he knows that someone is wearing his link. Quackity, though, isn't so lucky. His pinged at first, but it quickly died out, and he spent weeks searching. He refused to believe he didn't have a match. But, well..
When Slime first left for exile, he tried smashing his link, but it didn't work, so he just buried it. Mariana tried for days to try and get it to ping again, but Slime was gone, and since he wasn't wearing his link, he couldn't find him.
- Tallulah and Richarlyson both have physical conditions! One of Richarlysons legs is underdeveloped, he has a congenital LLD. As soon as they realized, Pac and Mike set to work making all kinds of assistance devices and treatments for him. From shoe lifts to canes to crutches, they made sure Richarlyson had whatever options he wanted depending on how he's feeling. Sometimes he just prefers being carried bc he's eepy. A lot of people see him as having an amputated leg as well! Same deal for whatever u headcanon
Talluluh has hyperacusis and type 1 narcolepsy. She's sensitive to most sounds, so Wilbur and Phil got her ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones, of course decorated, to help her. Though they don't have access to the proper medication to help her manage symptoms of narcolepsy, they found ways around it. Her beanie is padded and snaps on under her chin, protecting her head if she ever collapsed (think seizure helmets!). They work on identifying triggers and symptoms, and at times she'd prefer to be carried or use a wheelchair. Anyways I'm physically disabled and just projecting a bit 💀

The conversation about who is going to be joining Henry Fox on his multi-city trek across the U.S. is also going downhill. Alex is feeling the same sort of free fall while standing still. part one | part two

“Come on, princesses. My grandma can run faster than that – and she’s dead!”
Shinobu shot you an amused glance from across the room as you sat in your wheelchair, watching as the three boys ran their seventy-fifth lap. You grinned, averting your gaze as the blondie ran past, wide circle eyes staring at you desperately.
“Pleaseee, I can’t take – “
“Agatsuma!” Shinobu barked, “Thirty more laps and you’re done for today. Now shut up and get running!”
You giggled behind your hand. Ever since the incident, you had become prone to spending your days either sitting aimlessly in your room or watching the younger members of the corps train. Clearly, with both of your legs in casts and your torso swallowed in bandages, there weren't a whole lot of options. Because of this, you had been begging Shinobu to give you a couple of wood crutches; that way you could at least get around the mansion a bit easier. Alas, she had refused your request every time.
The woman in question made her way across the training space towards you, lips quirked up mischievously. As she came to a stop beside you, one of her hands came down to clasp your shoulder .
“Honestly, do you have anything better to do than distract these three?” she said, watching the boys. You cast her a long look, eyes narrowing.
“Don’t know if you noticed, Kocho…but I'm kind of crippled here. Not much else I can do.”
The insect hashira laughed at that, waving you off.
“How many times have I told you that your legs will be healed and fine in no time, hm? Trust me, you’ll be off fighting upper moons again before you know it.”
You grumbled at that, reclining further back in the wooden wheelchair.
“No thanks.”
At your words, Shinobu quirked a brow, turning to face you fully. “No? You’re not thinking of retiring are you?” The both of you sat in silence for a moment, her brows furrowing further as you refused to answer. “Hey…I mean I know you nearly died and all that, but it’s just a little hiccup in the road – like I said, you’ll be fine in a couple of weeks; it’ll be like nothing ever happened.”
You let her assurance hang for a moment, a sigh leaving your lips as you thought about your reply.
“I’m tired, Shinobu. This life, this…” you struggled to voice your feelings. “Women our age are married. They have families. We’re out here cutting the heads off of demons and watching as ambitious teenagers are sent off to be killed on missions. And - and to what end, really?”
She pondered your words, a frown now tugging her lips downwards. When she finally spoke, she had averted her gaze to the jogging boys.
“Since the accident…sometimes you don’t sound like yourself.” she shot you a quick look, trying to gauge your reaction. “You know why we fight. You know why we lay down our lives. We save people. We work endlessly towards stopping Muzan. That’s the end goal and you know it.” Her words trailed off. On the other side of the matts, the trio began slowing down. “You know what Kanae told me, when she was still alive? She said that just because we’re demon slayers - just because we’re cursed with this miserable life, it doesn’t mean we can’t love. It doesn’t mean we can’t have a family.” A large crease appeared in her forehead. She turned her stare back to you, determination prominent in her eyes. “So, you need to stop acting sorry for yourself. People die, people get hurt. Tough luck, suck it up. I don’t know what happened that day or what went down between the three of you, but sitting here, acting like you’re gonna quit the corps? It’s dumb. You can be happy. You can be that woman who’s married and has a family - but you’re just choosing not to, you’re scared.”
A heavy feeling gurgled in your gut. You didn’t want to admit it, but Shinobu was right. You were scared, and you were acting pathetic because of it. The thought was confronting.
All the words that you had exchanged with Iguro and Mitsuri rushed back to you. The fear of death - the pain of never having lived a fulfilling, happy life…it had overwhelmed you. And as a result, you had pushed away some of the only people who truly cared for you. The people you loved.
It made you want to crawl into a dark cave and never come out.
Maybe that had been your last chance. Your only chance. Iguro and Mitsuri probably thought you were a big tantrum-throwing baby who couldn’t handle her emotions. They probably thought you hated them. And if there was one thing you knew for sure in this terrible world - it was that you definitely did not hate them. Not a single piece of your broken, banged up body hated them. Lord, even when Iguro had made you turn red from anger - you didn’t hate him. And Mitsuri, who could ever hate her? She was the sweetest, love stricken person you had ever had the pleasure of laying your eyes on. Now though…now they probably hate you, if anything.
The thought had you clenching your fists tightly on the arms of your chair.
Shinobu looked at you with a knowing smile, opening her mouth to speak. Before she could, three panting boys stumbled up to the pair of you, tongues lolling out of mouths and sweat sticking their hair to their heads like a second skin.
Quickly, you righted the frown on your face.
“Done for today?” you asked. It was Tanjiro who answered, a beaming grin on his face despite the harrowing breaths leaving his lips.
“Yup, all done! Thank you for today's training, Kocho-Sama!” he directed his next words at you. “Would you like to go back to your room? I can take you!”
You contemplated for a second, eyes glancing between the three demon slayers in front of you.
“Actually, I was going to go out to the garden for a while. Get some fresh air. Thank you though, Tanjiro.” The maroon-haired boy smiled in response. On his left, Inosuke was rocking impatiently on his feet, whilst Zenitsu practically fell asleep standing up. Next to you, Shinobu shook her head at the younger boys with raised brows.
“Same time tomorrow, don’t be late.” Her command was met with instant agreement. Zenitsu even stopped blowing snot bubbles for a second to answer. Your laughter was cut short when she turned her gaze to you. “And you, we’re gonna have a real long chat tomorrow, so I better see your ass here as well.” she regarded you with a stern look. “Maybe I can even get you to start exercising your legs a little so you’re not so useless…”
Your offended look did not go unnoticed as she sauntered out of the room, waggling her fingers goodbye. You couldn’t help but mutter to yourself angrily.
“I’m still a Hashira too, y’know.”
~
A couple minutes later you found yourself being pushed down a long hallway. Despite your insistence to Tanjiro that you could make your way to the garden by yourself, he wouldn’t let up. So now, to your absolute chagrin, you were being accompanied by a boar who was jumping off the walls, a babbling baby who was trying to fall asleep in your lap and a kind, but obsessive boy who was pushing your wheelchair like his life depended on it.
For the eighth time, you pushed Zenitsu’s wobbling form away from you.
“You’re not sleeping on me, Agatsuma. Don’t even try.” He whined but backed off a little, stomping grumpily down the hall next to you. Behind you, Tanjiro was humming something to himself cheerily. A little ways ahead, Inosuke was trying to fight with a random Kakushi.
You had little doubt that the look on your face was pure exhaustion.
The Kakushi currently getting harassed began sprinting down the hall past the rest of you, Inosuke hot on his tail. You rolled your eyes, opening your mouth to say something but deciding against it. As they passed, at the last minute you decided to stick your arm out. The Kakushi bypassed it unscathed, but Inosuke, with no awareness of his surroundings, ran right into your protruding limb, the force of the impact sending him sprawling backwards. In an instant, the Kakushi disappeared around the corner. The edges of your lips tilted up. Before you could blink, Inosuke was back up on his feet; boar eyes seemingly piercing into your soul and nostrils flaring with misty breath. You rubbed at the fading pain in your arm and stared back at him blankly. The entrance to the garden was only ten or so metres away, but Tanjiro tastefully chose this time to stop pushing you.
“Why’d you do that?” The feral boy growled out behind his mask, slinking closer. It was almost as if he was…trying to intimidate you? Tanjiro’s voice came over the top of your head.
“Um, Inosuke…she was just trying to help.”
He ignored that, coming right up to your prone form and leaning down into your personal bubble. The ends of his mask tickled your face. You coughed in response, trying to hide the fact you were about to burst out laughing.
“Inosuke!” Tanjiro admonished like a mother.
Before you could make a snarky remark at the animal-esque boy, two scrawny arms were pulling Inosuke away from you. You watched in confusion as Zenitsu restrained the trembling boar for a moment, his chin wiggling in fear.
“Stop!” Zenitsu cried out. “She did nothing wrong, you crazy buffoon!” Inosuke roared, shoving an elbow into his friend's face and breaking free from his grip. Red instantly began to stream from the lightning user’s nose like a broken faucet.
“Eh!? The hell you think you’re doing, Monitsu?!”
You nearly smiled at the defiant look in Zenitsu’s eyes as Inosuke set his sights on him. Key word being nearly. What he said next diminished any admiration you held for him.
“You can’t hit a girl, you psycho! Especially not one of my future wives!” your gaze narrowed instantly. “You’ll marr her lovely skin!”
“You’re a literal child,” you grumbled to yourself, going unheard by the rest of the boys. As you watched them bicker, all you could do was groan, leaning your head back to look at Tanjiro. He seemed to read something on your face as he stepped out from behind you to interfere. As he did so, you slapped a hand to your head in exasperation. You had wanted him to get you out of there, not make you stay around to watch these two bicker and fight.
As Tanjiro began trying to deescalate the situation, the hallway somehow became louder with more shouting and arguing. Now, the hall was consumed by yelling teenage boys threatening to beat eachother up. And here you thought you were having a good day.
You peered at the three, wondering if you should stop them as they began to tussle.
It only took you a second to decide. Nah, not your problem.
Reaching for your wheels, you began trying to navigate around the boys to get to the door. The wood of your wheelchair groaned as it slowly made its way across the floor towards the threshold. You passed the fighting group without a glance, readjusting your uniform nonchalantly. Your feet were practically in the sun as you reached the outside door. A gentle draft was coming in from the patio and you let yourself smile a little, rearing to get across the door frame.
Right before you could pop a wheelie and haul yourself across the little cylinder trimming blocking the entrance, a low voice echoed down the hall behind you.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
Your spine instantly tensed, and you paused mid-action to whip your head around. Your heart freaked for a moment, thinking the voice was directed at you. Though when you assessed the sight behind you, you realised that - that wasn’t the case.
At the end of the hallway, where the four of you had come from, stood Iguro. His steely eyes were trained on Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu. At the Serpent Hashira’s question, the hall became deathly silent in a second.
You kept very quiet; he hadn’t noticed you there yet. Your eyes darted between the garden and the three boys who looked like they had been caught stealing. Breath caught in your throat, you were about to make a sneaky exit when Iguro began talking again.
“Seriously. How old are you? What’re your names? I’ll report you for insolence in a Hashira’s residence.” He scoffed, eyes roving the boys in boredom. You pursed your lips, looking once more at the boys who had grown extremely still. Reflexively, your gaze wandered back to Iguro.
When no one responded, the raven-haired male began stalking forward, his checkered haori swaying around him.
“Hm, so? Don’t wanna talk?” he cracked his knuckles creepily, Kabumararu coiling over his shoulders. “That’s fine. I'll make you talk.”
You had to forcibly stop yourself from rolling your eyes at his stupid threat. However, when you looked back to the boys, you realised they didn’t share quite the same amusement as you.
Zenitsu was sporting the typical deer-caught-in-headlights look, with big, wet tears starting to form. Instead of hitting Inosuke, he was now clutching onto him tightly, using him as a meatshield from the imposing Hashira. Inosuke himself had completely tensed up and you couldn’t quite tell if he was getting ready to try to fight Iguro or run away from him. Besides them, Tanjiro was looking awfully guilty. He, at least, seemed sort of alright with the confrontation.
You were now faced with a choice: slip out the door and leave these three to their possible demise or step in and tell Iguro to relax…One of the options was certainly looking better than the other.
Even so, you weren’t completely cruel and you were kind of the reason that this had happened in the first place.
You sighed, slowly pushing yourself backwards into the hall. The rolling of your wheelchair instantly caught everyone's attention and you cleared your throat awkwardly. As you came to a slow stop, you raised your gaze to meet Iguro’s. Before you could say anything, Zenitsu called out to you in what he must have thought was a quiet voice, his form trembling now.
“Hey, hey! Help us, please. Please!”
Now it was him everyone was looking at. His throat bobbed as he gulped deeply, shrinking under the scrutinising glare of the older man in the room. He shot one last desperate look in your direction.
You couldn’t help but sigh once again, cracking your neck and squaring your shoulders.
“Alright, Obanai. I think you’ve scared them enough.”
The boys sagged in relief. Iguro averted his stare back to you and you witnessed how his eyes seemed to soften as they took you in. Though it was totally a trick of the light, you told yourself. Surely you didn’t look very pretty, all dinged up and useless in a wheelchair. Despite this, Iguro changed his course of trajectory, walking towards you. The boys watched on fearfully, thinking you had pissed him off. You didn’t blame them, because you also thought you had pissed him off.
It wouldn’t be the first time.
As he came closer, you noticed the slight limp in his step and the numerous cuts torn across his face. There were some rips in his haori and a stain on his bandages that resembled blood. You raised an eyebrow. Before you could remark on it, he had stopped a few feet in front of you, eyes devoid of any emotion.
“You look better.”
There was an awkward silence. You glanced behind Iguro to where the trio seemed to contemplate their escape. Something that felt awfully similar to sweat pooled in your palms. You should say thanks, right? Right. What came out though was definitely not a thanks.
“You look like shit.” Instantly, you clapped a hand over your mouth, eyes widening. That was not what you meant to say. What the hell was wrong with you? Quickly, you held up your hands placatingly, “No, no - I didn’t mean. I mean - you look fine. You must have just got back from a mission? Yeah, you did…it’s uh. It’s fine. Wait, I mean - “ you tripped over your words, only to stop when a low chuckle reached your ears. You went completely silent when you looked up to see Iguro regarding you fondly, a warmness starting to blossom in your cheeks.
“Mitsuri and I just got done with a mission. We, “ he glanced back at the eavesdropping boys, “We were going after it. The upper moon.”
Your eyes widened slightly at his words, a heavy silence now basking the hall.
“Oh.”
Iguro laughed again, shoulders shrugging.
“It was a trap though. We barely made it out…” his words trailed off. Your heart hammered so hard, you thought it might re-break your ribs.
“But - but you’re okay, right? I mean, where’s Mitsuri? She’s alright?” It was hard to hide the nervousness in your voice. Iguro seemed surprised but he quickly hid it, nodding his head.
“She’s fine. A little battered up as well, but fine. She should - ”
As if she was summoned, Mitsuri pranced around the corner, her pink locks flying behind her. She came to a stop as she regarded the crowded hall curiously.
“Oh! Hi everybody?” If the boys weren’t relaxed before, they certainly were now. With two other Hashiras around, they were decidedly protected from Iguro’s wrath. It was Tanjiro who greeted her back, waving a hand. She smiled sweetly, eyes wandering towards Iguro and ultimately landing on you. Her smile flickered for a second, shoulders seeming to curl the slightest bit.
“Oh,” she whispered this time. “Hi.” Unsure of what her body language meant, you smiled hesitantly back at her.
“Hey, Suri’...”
At the nickname, something in her eyes flared and suddenly she was skipping down the hall towards you and Iguro. As she passed by the boys, one of her hands reached out to pat Zenitsu on the head. Lovehearts literally shone in his eyes.
“Honey!” she cooed as she reached you. It was as if nothing had happened between you two as she grabbed your face with one hand, angling it up and down. She hummed under her breath. “Well, you’ve certainly healed well!” she stared at you with a soft, simpering smile - almost as if begging you not to push her away again. You didn’t. Rather, you laughed quietly, cupping the hand that was now resting on your cheek.
“Yeah…we all know Shinobu’s medicine works wonders. Don’t tell her I said that, though.” Mitsuri grinned at that, taking a step back. As she did, your eyes were drawn to the bandages peeking out from beneath her uniform. “Are you alright?” you asked her without missing a beat. She followed your gaze, then looked at Iguro sceptically. He nodded back at her.
“I’m okay, it’s just a cut. Um…” she looked at Iguro a second time, displeasure now causing her nose to scrunch. When she looked back at you, it became glaringly obvious that she was nervous.
“What, Suri’?” you asked. Her cheeks grew a little bit pink.
“It’s just that…I’m sorry. We went on that mission to take down the upper moon and failed. I - I know it meant a lot to you.” The smile on your face quickly vanished, but not for the reason Mitsuri seemed to think. As she raised her hands to apologise again, you interrupted.
“You’re sorry? Mitsuri no, you don’t need to apologise to me. I know how I reacted a couple weeks ago but I don’t - y’know, I don’t actually care. I mean, you don’t owe me anything…”
Her head tilted to the side, a pout coming onto her face. Iguro spoke up.
“You don’t…care? We’ve been away for weeks hunting that demon for you because we thought…we - “ Iguro paused, looking over at the trio of boys still listening to your conversation. “Maybe we should go somewhere a little more private.” Mitsuri nodded her agreement.
“No.” You all paused, staring at Zenitsu as he announced himself in a meek voice. Iguro in particular, stared hauntingly at him. This was enough for the blonde to cower back, looking to his friends for help. Indeed, Tanjiro came to his aid.
“No, he’s right. We were taking her to the garden before you interrupted. You can’t just take her away when she doesn’t wanna go!”
You blinked at Tanjiro repeatedly, trying to process his words. When you did, you nearly cried in exasperation. These kids were crazy. You went to explain, but was stopped by Iguro as he took a step towards the boys.
“Are you trying to say we can’t talk to our girl in private?” he asked darkly. Tanjiro paled but didn’t back down. Zenitsu, on the other hand, completely hid himself behind Inosuke. (Though you were pretty sure that Inosuke had fallen asleep at some point in all of this).
Mitsuri and you exchanged a look.
“Stop it, Iguro.” you groaned. “And Zenitsu, Tanjiro - for god's sake, I am going on my own free will. No one is making me do anything. Just go back to your room or something!” you snapped at them. For the first time since you had met, the boys seemed to remember that you were a Hashira, which meant you could look after yourself. It also meant that you were undoubtedly capable of dismembering them if they got on your nerves…which they had, many times before this. Their eyes widened but they nodded, scurrying off down the hall. You watched them go, casting a look at the now snoring Inosuke still standing there.
“Should we wake him?” Mitsuri pondered.
“No.” Iguro retorted, reaching towards you.
“What’re you doin - Yah!” All of a sudden you had left the discomforts of your wheelchair and were dangling idly in the air. With your legs useless, you couldn’t do much but glare at the Serpent Hashira. He peered down at you, shrugging.
“Easier to move you around this way.” he said simply. Next to you, Mitsuri giggled.
You had no choice but to accept it, grumbling to yourself as you tried to hide the slight flush creeping up your neck.
~
Outside, the sun was high in the sky. The sound of birds and running water echoed from the forest beyond the garden walls.
Mitsuri had directed the three of you towards a large oak, where you now sat in the cool shade. You had propped yourself up against the trunk, Iguro to your right and Mitsuri laying on her tummy in front of you two.
You all sat in silence, watching the calm scenery pass you by. Iguro’s head flopped back against the bark, a quiet sigh leaving his lips. Mitsuri yawned, legs kicking up behind her as she stretched out her arms. You just sat and watched, eyebrows drawn as you thought about what to say. Were you supposed to ignore what had happened three weeks ago? Were you guys just hanging out as friends now? Iguro had started saying something back inside but maybe he didn’t want to talk about it…
Your lips pursed.
Before you could dive deeper into your lair of doubt and confusion, a loud chatter caught your attention. All of you watched as a small group of demon slayers stumbled through the garden gates and made their way toward the mansion. As they joked around with each other, your eyes caught on their nichirin blades, shimmering like glitter in the sun. Your finger twitched beside you.
Your katana was long gone. After it had snapped into two on the mountain, it served you no purpose. Because of this, you had been blade-less ever since you woke up. Though Shinobu promised you that your swordsmith would bring you a new blade any day now, you were beginning to think she was lying to you to keep your spirits high. If you had it your way, you would’ve gone to the swordsmith village by now and re-equipped yourself; but no, apparently that wasn’t an option according to the Insect Hashira. Despite your argument that you could heal fine at the village and not have to worry about demons, you were ‘not permitted to leave the butterfly mansion until approved by a senior doctor.’ AKA, until Shinobu Kocho stopped being the bane of your existence.
Mitsuri followed your gaze, looking back at you with a small smile.
“You must really wanna get back out there after being cooped up in here the last couple’a weeks, huh?”
You shrugged noncommittally, eyes falling away from the blade as the slayers made their way inside.
“I suppose so,” you hummed, fingers tugging at the grass absentmindedly. Iguro grumbled from your right.
“Well I don’t want to fight another demon for the next fifty years after that last fight. Fuckin’ hell.”
MItsuri laughed, swatting at his leg playfully. At the same time, she nodded her head.
“It was…” she chuckled softly. “It was a lot.”
As you observed her a bit closer, you saw the dark shadows under her eyes and the purplish-blue where a bruise was beginning to form on her cheek. The numerous cuts littering her face was giving way to the warm swelling beneath. Glancing besides you, you noted that the same could be said for Iguro. Hot glue stuck your throat closed as you shut your eyes briefly. This was your fault.
“I’m sorry.” You spoke quietly. “You didn’t have to…I mean, you didn’t need to go after the upper moon. I - I’m sorry.” You couldn’t think of what else to say but apologise. You were the reason they had come home looking like crap. You were the reason they were probably aching all over right now. You. It was you.
“Shuddup,” Iguro suddenly barked, peering over at you. You stopped yourself from jolting at his unexpected demand.
“I-”
“I don’t know what you’re thinking, but we went after that upper moon on Ubayashiki’s orders. It had nothin’ to do with you.”
Your eyes widened, lips opening and closing as you tried to find the words to respond.
“Iguro!” Mitsuri groaned, one hand slapping her forehead. Like you, she gaped for a second as she tried to find the right words to say.
“What? I’m just telling the truth.” He said calmly. Mitsuri glowered at him, one finger rising up to point at him menacingly.
“That is not the tru-” her eyes lit up with a sudden realisation. “You’re just grumpy because that demon called you ugly!” she accused.
“Huh?!”
“Huh?”
Both you and Iguro spoke at the time, although Iguro was sounding a little more outraged at her words.
“The demon what?” your question fell on deaf ears.
“I am not grumpy about that!” Iguro defended himself instantly. Mitsuri responded back with equal fervour.
“You totally are! I told you you’re not ugly! Why are you still mad?!”
“I’m not!”
“You are!”
It took you a second to process the words being exchanged but once you did you could do nothing but clasp a hand over your mouth and stifle your giggles. Kaburamaru slithers over from Iguro’s shaking shoulders to perch on you grumpily. You reached your free hand up to stroke along his head gently, watching the two bicker.
It was only when Mitsuri’s wild eyes turned to you, did you realise that you should say something.
“You’re not ugly, Iguro.” You said, nudging the hashira next to you. The stream of words falling from his lips paused as he turned to look at you. “The demon was probably just trying to rile you up. In fact, you’re the least ugly guy I know.” you grinned easily at him and he seemed stunned for words. Mitsuri sighed dramatically, plopping back down into the grass with a huff. You bit your tongue to stop from laughing.
“That’s not true,” Iguro mumbled, head turning away from you. As you lose sight of his face, your face falls flat. Who knew that the Snake Hashira of all people would be so vain? Seeing the expression you bore, Mitsuri shook her hands at you, urging you to continue. You stuck your tongue out at her.
“Oh, Iguro ~ “ you murmur, hair falling in your face as you shake your head conspiratorially. “Really, you’re the most handsome guy I know. Don’t be such a baby about it, okay? It almost takes away from how stunning you are.”
You grin like a vixen when his head whips back towards you. With his face right in front of you, you can see the light dusting of red covering his cheeks.
“But I -”
“Oh good lord, Iguro!” you snapped playfully. “What is this? One of those cheesy love stories Mitsuri likes to read?” you ignore the yelped ‘hey’ from the bubblegum haired girl. “Don’t give me that bullcrap! I’ve literally seen you without your bandages and I still love you so what's the problem!?”
Your breath leaves you in pants as you contain a laugh. Iguro continues to stare at you, his pupils dilating. It isn’t until you turn to look at Mitsuri that you realise something is wrong. She’s gone silent, mouth dropped open.
“What? What did I say?” you ask hesitantly, glancing back at Iguro.
The squeals are all the warning you get before a solid force smashes into you. Slightly disoriented, you barely register Mitsuri wrapping around you like a toddler.
“I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!”
You groan, peeking one eye open to look at the Love Hashira. She’s already beaming down at you, hands cupping your face.
“I knew you loved us!” She rotates to talk to Iguro. “I told you she was just overwhelmed! I did!”
He goes to say something back at her but ends up just shaking his head. His bandages shift slightly upwards.
Listening to Mitsuri, what you just said dawns on you. Your face pales, lips parting slightly. Mitsuri catches the look on your face and jumps, about to clamber off of you. Before she can, you wrap a hand around her arm softly. Her face flushes but she stays where she is.
You wet your lips, trying to make sense of all the thoughts in your head.
“Hey,” Mitsuri whispers. “You know it’s okay if you didn’t mean to say that…I’m not trying to force you to confess your undying love for us if you don’t actually love us, y’know?”
You shoot a surprised look at her. “Huh? No! No that’s not it. I just…how? Why?”
“You're gonna have to be a bit more specific than that,” she giggles. The hold you have on her loosens slightly, your eyes casting towards the ground.
“How can you still love me? After what I said? How I pushed you away?” Tears hide behind your eyelids. “I was a total bitch. I mean, I thought you would never even talk to me again! I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry.”
Mitsuri looks away and you realise that she’s mouthing something at Iguro. Suddenly, there’s a hand gripping onto yours tightly.
“Stop apologising,” Iguro’s gruff voice comes from beside you. You realise it’s his hand that you’re holding. “Suri’ kept saying that you were just overwhelmed, that you didn’t mean what you said. I realise now that she was right.” You can’t stop the tears that dribble down your cheeks. Mitsuri’s hold on you tightens. “I mean, you nearly died that day and here we were announcing our love for you? What the hell is up with that?”
You choke on a laugh, fingers curling into the palm of his hand.
“What I’m trying to say,” Iguro mutters, somewhat embarrassed. “Is that if anyone should be sorry, it’s us. We pushed you too far and didn’t stop to consider how you may have felt. So…we’re sorry.”
Everything goes quiet, your quiet sniffling slowing down. Mitsuri leans back to smile at you.
“Can we just stop all this sad shit?” she laughs. You echo her, reaching up to wipe away the remaining water in your eyes.
“Yeah. Yeah, I think so.” You.
“Please. No more of this emotional crap.” Iguro.
All three of you begin laughing in earnest now. All the drama and tears getting carried away by the gentle breeze that sweeps through the garden.
As you calm down, you notice the soft look on Mitsuri’s face. Her eyes dart down for a second, a pinkish hue colouring her cheeks.
Before you can question it, she’s pressing her lips to yours, hands gripping at your shirt tightly. It starts as quickly as it ends as she pulls back, eyes twinkling with stars.
“Too soon?” she giggles.
“Not soon enough,” you murmur, tugging her back towards you. Iguro’s firm grip on your hand keeps you safe and warm, reminding you that they were your family - your priority.

OKAY I KNOW THE POLL ISN'T DONE YET BUT I FINISHED EARLY LET'S FUCKING GO BRO!
So like I said, the band name is Mother Nightshade. The group contains a fish demon (Piper), imp demon (Jazzy), succubus (Wendell), sinner (Lucyle {yes she has debuted on this acct before, and yes I deleted all previous posts of her bc I repurposed her}), and a hellhound (Arlo)
{Picture featured below is the crew in a Vivziepop esc style}
Now here they are in my style, plus their human versions!
I even made a fake pin for each of them, including their LGBTQIA identities and pronouns
I feel like it'd be worth it to go through each character individually, ya know? Get to know them! Let's start with Piper!
Piper Eela plays lead guitar in the band. She's often known as the "Big Sister" and musical prodigy. She comes from the Envy Ring, and she found her love for music when she was in her early teens. She listened to everything from pop to goth, and loved it all! Piper can also play acoustic guitar, and it was actually the first instrument she learned how to play. She is also one of the first members, as the band started off with herself and her close friend, Arlo. They even made matching jackets that they wear every day.
{VC - Scarlett Johansson}
Jazzy Rivers is the imp of the band. She's a pack of dynamite in quite the small package. She can play any form of bowed string (violin, viola, cello, etc) and even some woodwinds. She grew up around music, and often played instruments at different festivals for public entertainment. Arlo attended one of these festivals that Jazzy was playing at, and noticed her talent. After talking with Piper, they agreed to give Jazzy an opportunity to play with the band. Up to that point, Jazzy had only played country music, and quickly learned to expand her playable genres. She's feisty, she might bite you, but you can't deny she has talent!
{VC - Andrea Libman}
Wendell Starlight is the drummer, a succubus from the Lust Ring. He grew up listening to rock and heavy metal, and learned how to drum thanks to his dad. Wendell finds the rhythm of a song to be one of the most important aspects; without it, the song sounds empty and off-putting. Wendell would do gigs at Ozzie's and would also often fill in during performances, being the backtrack to whoever soloed that night. It was at one of these gigs that Piper went to where she noticed him. Having guitar, strings, and bass was nice, but they were missing something. A solid beat! It didn't take long before Wendell accepted being a permanent drummer for Mother Nightshade, expanding their music even more.
{VC - Jack Black}
Lucyle Thorn is the odd one out when it comes to the band. She's a sinner (and autistic). They can't go to other rings like the rest of the band can, which makes tours rather difficult. Mother Nightshade was doing really well when it came to performance, but they still felt like they needed more. In response, they hosted an audition in the Pride Ring. Many other demons and sinners came, and many left. Lucyle had been raised around piano, she loved it with her soul. In her audition, she played bluesy pieces, something slow and jazz-like, overall expressive. This caught the band's attention, and quickly offered Lucyle entrance, which they accepted. Now when it comes to yours, often Lucyle would record her parts in advance and send them with the rest of the group. They'd rather not do the tours anyways, as she finds them overstimulating.
{VC - Alecia Beth Moore / P!nk}
Arlo Hayes is the hellhound of the band, originating from the Gluttony Ring. He's a disabled ambulatory wheelchair user, so he can be seen on wheels, in crutches, or even sometimes without any mobility aids at all! Arlo and Piper grew up together after he was adopted by her family, and have been joined at the hip ever since. As to why he wears bright ass orange pants, it's, in his words, "So people won't make me a trip hazard when I don't have to be." While Piper learned guitar, Alro learned bass. He liked how he could feel it when he played, and how full a song felt with it. When Piper and Alro got older, they did online videos together, covering popular songs with their instruments. One thing led to another, and they started a band, Mother Nightshade. The goal overall was to be non-conforming. Why play only one genre when you can play them all? The band was a success, with their first few albums focusing on pop, goth, and punk music. As they gained performers, they gained genres. After Jazzy joined, they did a country album, a heavy metal one with Wendell, and a jazz album with Lucyle. Nowadays they alternate between what the consensus is; what do they want to play?
{VC - Ian Cardoni}
Aaaannnnd that's all, folks! Thank you for getting this far! Please consider interacting with this post. It took weeks to get all of these pieces out, and getting the start of a story out there. Of course, if there are any questions, my ask box is always open!

Rehabilitation au details, including the characters I’ve given twisted forms to so far since I count them as part of the group and they will be in this au too.
- Purrinitys legs were completely rotted by the ichor, and she will need lots of physical therapy to walk again.
- Purrinity needs use crutches to move around, though when she gets too tired she also needs to use a wheel chair.
- Poppy sometimes struggles to breath properly, and feeling her throat be blocked causes her to panic. Purrinity calms her down when this happens and makes sure she brings her inhaler along.
- Cya gets massive migraines when exposed to bright lights.
- Glisten is blind in one eye and still retains trace cracks on his face from where the missing glass was replaced. He is very insecure about it.
- Though the gaping hole in his abdomen is gone thankfully, glisten still gets stomach cramps occasionally that are REALLY BAD and make him throw up. It’s not fun.
- Custos wasn’t too terribly affected by the ichor thankfully, but he does go through stages where his wings or other parts of his body will be paralyzed for a bit which can be quite painful. It feels like if a body part falls asleep suddenly and you can’t move it at all. When that happens he gets quite stressed. Shelly keeps him busy with all sorts of dinosaur facts so he doesn’t panic.
- Since Shelly’s body changed so much, she still has her slight dinosaur features after being cured. The extra ribs thankfully having retreated after a while, and her getting better control of her arms again. She still has legs like a dinosaur, and she honestly loves it.
- Shelly likes to give piggy back rides to the other toons with her Dino legs.
- Pablo can’t speak as easy as he used to be, and it sounds kinda like he has a cold when he tries to talk, but as long as he stays on top of his medication well it isn’t too noticeable. He does look slightly disheveled though.
- Finn has prosthetic legs. He has a bunch of covers for them that have different patterns and colors, and even a peg leg.
- Charley was the one who probably ended up suffering the most long term side affects. He was able to get stitches in the places where cotton had popped out, but since his blindness wasn’t caused by the ichor but was caused by his own hands he will most likely never be able to see normally again. His eyes have been found and stitched back on, but they are very damaged. Despite the hand on the end of his tail being gone, he can still feel it there like a phantom limb. He’s still working on getting used to using a white cane to navigate around.

SIFFRIN DISABILITY HC
Siffrin's eye causes them to bump into things a lot, we know this from cannon, but I like to think that Isa usually stands on their blind side so that he can guide Siff away from obstacles. Furthermore, he sleeps on Siff's blind side (seen in the clocktower cutscenes) because it reduces their anxiety about being attacked on that side. When they're dating, Isa big spoons Siff which makes them feel even more secure
Due to dying so many times, even though their body didn't physically go through that in this timeline, their brain is still stuck with that mental trauma which leads them to a condition like AMPS in which their body often hurts. They also don't like surprise touches as these hurt, but they'll happily cuddle and hug (with warning!!) on lower pain days
Siff uses crutches to help them walk on long adventures. When they fight however, they take a cane so they have more mobility to attack. The cane, more like a walking stick as it's a wooden stick with a point at the end to stick into dirt, was a gift from Isa after trying to figure out how they could still fight if needed.
Even on bad pain days, it's hard to get Siff to rest. Sometimes this is simply because they're still practicing noticing their own needs and expressing those needs and sometimes they're stubborn. Often the group will send Bonnie to take a watch over siff and make sure they don't sneak away as Siff can't resist Bonnie
Before realizing that they needed more than just a cane to walk, Odile was the first to reach out to siff as she noticed they were having trouble walking. She gave them one of her old canes and Siff almost cried at how much better it felt.
More to be added!!

ReiJeanPiku Headcanons
May 27th to June 2nd 2024 is JeanPiku Day ! Except that Reiner is also with them in my AU/Headcanons. So I decided to do a little fanart of the three of them cuddling in bed.
I'm sorry but they are too cute. That scene with the three of them in the Battle of Heaven and Earth had me dying ; they were so precious to each other ♥
Ever since the Battle of Heaven and Earth, they are easily worried about each other. They know they can trust each other but when something is wrong, they are kind of overreacting at some point.
-----
They love to tease each other and tell all types of jokes, even the dirty ones. That's kind of a way to show your love I guess.
-----
Out of the 3, Pieck is the "Polyamorous" one.
-----
Sometimes Jean goes full drama and claimed stuff like "I'm so glad to have you idiots in my life ! If you still had your Titan powers you would have died and I would be shattered for life. Why would I be shattered for such dumbasses ?! Because I love you stupid jerks !" Yeah they REALLY like to say stuff like this, especially Jean who jokes about their past selves (with their Titans and all).
-----
Thanks to this healthy relationship of theirs, Reiner finally got out of his depression and suicidal behaviour. He still has slight Split Personality Disorder, but it is getting way better than before, and Jean and Pieck are always there to help him with his mental illness and trauma.
-----
When they will eventually have children, Reiner is the best dad ever. He is the type to be a "Daddy's girl", but he is really caring, as he already shows it towards his cousin Gabi, Falco, Udo and Zofia.
-----
They will eventually have 4 children ; 2 boys and 2 girls (OMG how did they do this so perfectly ?! JK, JK !)
-----
They will first have a girl, then 2 boys, and then another girl.
-----
Even though she doesn't have the Cart Titan anymore, Pieck still very often walks on "four legs", which creeps Jean out. Reiner is used to it since they grew up together and Pieck was doing this more and more as time goes by.
-----
Because of this, Pieck still needs crutches to walk on her two legs.
-----
After realizing her mistakes as a mother, Karina is always there for her son, and she is also very tender and caring towards Reiner's lovers. She maked sure that her son is happy and healthy, but also her future children-in-law.
-----
They often invite or go check on Livai ever since they fought together in the Battle of Heaven and Earth, and also since Gabi and Falco got closer to him. He is like the "cool uncle" of the family.

Summerfest day 3 - GHOST
On the hoary street outside Aventus’ house, the children are throwing snowballs.
It’s snowed thick the last few days, only coming to a stop late this afternoon, so that the cobble of the road is entirely hidden; the younger ones, all a little older than it feels like they should be, are shin-deep in it, wading with some difficulty, clothes freezing wet and shoes probably soaked through. It’s the proper kind of snow, clean and crisp and cold to the bone. It lies smooth and flat where it hasn’t been walked through and most of the streets visible from the upstairs windows still haven’t been shovelled clear. There’s meant to be a market today, but after this weather – roads barely traversable unless people start rustling up sledges - it’s doubtful it’ll go through. It happens. This time of year you need to keep your storeroom well stocked, else you’re shit out of luck.
(Once, there were no storerooms; Torr couldn’t tuck themself away until the blustering died down. He’d wear seven worn-thin layers and stick his fingers in his mouth when they started hurting and if it got really bad he’d find somewhere with Griss and Kyrri and Katla and whoever else he could grab and he’d beat down the door of whoever was least sick of his face at the time. The Cornerclub, if he thought it was worth appealing to Ambarys’ better sensibilities; the temples dotted around the city, though some of them were never very helpful at the best of times. They waited a blizzard out on Eirmund’s kitchen floor, once. Broke into a few cellars, a few abandoned buildings, a shop. It’s lucky they weren’t arrested twice as often as they were. They think they got by mostly on luck, some days.)
It's pretty, if nothing else; there’s nobody else out on the streets yet so it’s just the gaggle of kids in their tatty coats and cloaks and the ends of their tunics wet, breath misting in the air so visible it’s practically crystallised, shrieking and ducking and hurling damp handfuls of snow at each other, loose-packed and crumbling. It hits the walls, sometimes, and sticks dripping between the stones; seeps through their gloves, through their hose, and Torr doesn’t remind them to worry about frostbite because they know and he knows they know, but he thinks about it. Their own hands are still scarred, fingertips ever-flushed, knuckles tough and pitted. It’s hard to remember that things have changed, in some ways. Harder to remember they were ever different, in others.
They’re posted up watching against the chilled stone wall, hood pulled over their head to shield them some from the cold, hands tucked up into the sleeves of their thick wool tunic. (It’s nice. Bluish-purple – Babette picked it out, they think.) The kids are all yelling their heads off, which they suppose the neighbours must have gotten used to. Ambarys is stumbling like a newborn deer through the snow; Griss is darting this way and that, her red skirt fluttering like a flag behind her; Skygna has Gellir on her shoulders, a lump of snow held high in one hand and the other holding onto her head, directing her to charge around lopsidedly. A trio of the newer kids – they’ve been appearing more often, Katla said, since the fighting started, and Torr’s still not entirely clear on which is which – are trying to pile up a crumbling snow wall. Skrauti keeps careful to the porch, mindful of his foot and realistic about the strength of his boots and the real utility of his crutches in that sort of terrain, but he ducks around corners and keeps neatly compacted snowballs piled up in his arms. He darts around the corner, throws one that dramatically misses anyone that it might have been aimed at, and lurches out of view again before anyone can try to get him back. Gellir is bellowing, his little face bright as the sun. Skygna is laughing. She always used to be so serious.
So much has changed. So much has stayed the same. Same clothes, some of them. Same people, mostly. Torr watches, leaning against the cold stone wall, and tries to find familiarity in it. Fails.
(It should be familiar. They used to play like this all the time – Windhelm’s certainly got the weather for it, coated in snow for the better part of the year and not all that much else to do about it; the kids would sneak up on him, or on each other, try to dump a damp handful down the backs of their tunics or grind it into their hair. Katla always tried to get it straight in the eyes. Torr remembers back when Skrauti was new, how he managed to smash a hard-packed snowball through one of the rare glass windows in the Grey Quarter, how he damn near cried with guilt afterwards until Torr promised they’d scrounge up the money to pay for it to be fixed. Torr remembers how Chukka down the docks tried to figure out how to lob snow at them with her tail even though it didn’t have half the dexterity for it. Torr remembers Katla shovelling snow down her throat in response to some stupid dare and then shoving Talres’ face in it when he laughed. Torr remembers, Torr remembers, Torr remembers; but it’s like that’s all he knows how to do. Like he’s slotting it away in the shelves of nostalgia as it’s happening. Like he’s not really here.)
(He isn’t. Not really. Not like he’s supposed to be. Once, they would have been the one to start it, putting snow down Katla’s dress, on Talres’ arm, in Griss’ hair; it kept them all laughing, kept them active, kept them distracted. They were the best at those games, unbeatable, though since half their opponents were half their age having the best arm and the quickest dodge probably wasn’t much to brag about. They remember it all but they’re still leaning statue-still against the wall; trying to move feels like an imitation, unreal. None of it feels real. Every time Torr comes back here they feel like they’re dressing up in their own skin, carving the blood off their palms, trying so hard not to seem like they’re pretending. He loves the kids – he does, he does, he does; he would do anything in the fucking world for them. There’s not much left that he hasn’t already done. But there’s little comfort to be found here, these days, feeling slow and stagnant and ill-fitting. They want him here, though, all the same. So he visits. And he tries not to feel like he’s lying.)
Torr is lost, as he usually is here, in thought (he can’t get away from it – he steps through Windhelm’s ancient gates and falls backwards through time, falls backwards into his own head), so he’s not expecting impact, sudden and sharp, against his right shoulder. Just under the clavicle. Their clothes are thicker-softer-better here than they ever used to be, but even so they can feel the freezing shock against the scar tissue knotted over their joint – they’re reacting before they even begin to think about it –
Their head catches up to their body before they actually put a hand on their knife, but not before they’ve flinched for it, shoulders curled in, sinking their weight low, one foot shifting agitatedly against the powder-pit of the snow; then Torr blinks, remembers himself, remembers when he is and where he is and that there is a world past the sudden snap of vigilance singing through the thundering of his blood. Blinks again. Looks, over the muddy-trodden surface of the sparkling snow, to Griss; who stands with one arm still raised and one side of a smile pinned on. It seems to be caught in place halfway through slipping away. There is snow on Torr’s jacket sleeve.
(Once, keeping her smile in place was the entire pared-down goal of his life; Torr spares a moment to hate himself, acutely and utterly. Then he moves on.)
Torr knows the steps for this game; knows what to do; knows what they would have done, though not why it used to be so easy, or why it’s so hard now. Griss looks grimacingly like she’s about to apologise for startling them, which is so horrendously not how they talk to one another that the idea stings. Torr crouches – all their muscles still coiled, chest held tight, very unhelpful – to dig a handful of snow from the ground at their feet and fling it in her vague direction. She yelps and dodges with ease, but it fixes the look on her face; she sticks her tongue out at him and ducks down to build up another arsenal, and Torr shakes his head ache-inducingly hard and tries as best he can to wrangle his attention to here and now. The snow is painfully cold against his ungloved hand, but it kind of helps. Makes him feel like he’s here.
When Griss hurls another projectile at him, he has at least the presence of mind to sidestep; she cackles delightedly, and he smiles, thin and dirty-cold as the dusting of snow on his shoulder.

Hello. I wasn’t the anon from last time but I realized my question came off as rude and standoff-ish. it was actually just a genuine question of whether you think all webtoon original creators are/should be held to the same level of scrutiny as LO is. You said before that its okay for indie comics to look messy or unprofessional because they’re passion projects. But I was just thinking of all the webtoon originals that are overworked and under paid. Kind of makes me feel bad because webtoon presents them as professional works— yet treats them like indie projects. And its throwing them under the bus because they dont have any of the same resources as traditional print. When rachel gets called out for reusing panels/artworks, adding filler, and taking shortcuts it sets a precedent that all webtoon originals shouldn’t do that.
Oh you're good!!! Sorry if I came at you like a flying monkey, it was just very similar to the last set of asks so I made a faulty assumption LOL
I do think there's a lot of responsibility on WT's shoulders to do better by their creators. A lot of them are burnt out, underpaid, overworked, as you said, and I'm definitely not looking past that. The only reason I get on Rachel's case as much as I do is because she has WAY more assistants than others, people who are literally industry professionals (seriously, look up their socials/art pages sometime, some of these people literally work in the larger entertainment industries like movies and gaming, it makes it feel like their skills are being SEVERELY wasted on LO with how bad it looks week after week) and there's just a lot of evidence that points to how much Rachel lies about how much she contributes (she's also definitely one of the top earning creators on the platform, at least here in NA). That's not even getting into how much WT carries Rachel and LO on their shoulders, from giving LO extensive ad space every week (ad space that's constantly being fought for by other Originals creators who are lucky to get even a couple hours per season in the ad roulette) to outright paying for awards and articles to be written about it. Like, far be it from me to make assumptions as an outsider looking in, but I don't get the sense that Rachel is in the same ballpark of struggling that a lot of Originals creators are. If anything there are probably creators struggling to be seen right now because of WT constantly giving her and her comic preferential treatment over others. And yeah, that's on Webtoons, but you don't exactly see Rachel doing anything to lift up her peers or talk about her experiences with Webtoons the same way many other creators are and that says a lot IMO.
And, speaking as a creator and as a reader, I'm definitely not against the notion of webtoon creators using whatever shortcuts they need to use, but I still feel like there's a line you gotta draw somewhere before those shortcuts become definitively "lazy" low quality crutches. Those kinds of shortcuts can become a very slippery slope between "doing the best you can" and "making no effort at all". If I can use a creator who's not Rachel as an example, Let's Play has a LOT of this kind of thing going on.
I can totally empathize with needing to use shortcuts, I use them all the time and I'm not being burnt at both ends the same way Originals creators are, but while there is the concern that criticizing them sets a precedent that people shouldn't use them ever, there's the opposite concern that not talking about it when it's very obviously cheap sets a precedent that it's okay to give your audience garbage and still expect them to stick around and pay money for your work.
It's not really a battle that sits squarely on the shoulders of the creators, though, a lot of it does come down to Webtoons. But I think there are also creators who are just sorta like that. See Snailords as an example, they use WT underpaying them all the time as an argument/excuse for their behavior, but they're a genuinely shitty person with a nasty attitude who very blatantly manipulates their young audience (literally made up of children!) and they've been like that since before they joined WT as an Originals creator, so it doesn't matter if WT is in the picture or not, Snailords is just like that.
When it comes to Rachel, I genuinely believe that she wasn't always like this with her work, there was a time when she put actual effort into her art - but that time has been long gone since 2019/2020. And I don't think WT paying her more or loosening the strictness of her deadlines is the solution, I just think LO should have ended a long time ago before it got to that point. When LO's art and writing started to turn, there was that initial concern that it was her taking these shortcuts out of necessity for her health and work/life balance... but then there's a point where it becomes abundantly clear that the creator just doesn't care anymore and I think that's a point Rachel crossed a long time ago, probably around the start of S2 if I had to try and guess exactly where.
When it comes right down to it, Webtoons Originals is still a form of publisher, and if you sign that contract, you're going to be held to higher standards than creators who aren't because you're no longer a hobbyist, you're doing this as your job. That's not to say you don't deserve empathy ever, especially in the working climate that WT demands, but if you're gonna be working as a professional in an industry that's begging to be respected among its peers, you gotta hold yourself to higher standards. To really get across what I mean by that, if the webtoon/webcomic industry wants to be taken seriously, especially here in the west where it's competing with DC and Marvel, maaaybe it should at least have some modicum of quality control to ensure there's a mutual level of respect between the audience and the creator. I think that's something WT needs to be taking more seriously and, by extension, they should be doing more to both provide assistance and accommodations to their creators as well as quality control to ensure they're holding these works to a standard they expect people to pay for. This is especially true for a comic like LO which they're insisting still has a show in development (they aren't but that's another topic lol), of course people are gonna have higher standards for a comic that's won as many awards as it has and has gotten television and merch deals.
And aside from all that, I don't think anyone gets mad right off the bat at a comic that isn't "perfect", usually they'll just go "oh okay, this is what the comic is, it's not for me" and move on (Religiously Gay is an example of a comic like this, there was already a lot of controversy surrounding it when it came out but it was pretty clear that was just what the comic was so I didn't bother reading it further). It's when a comic starts off on a good note and builds that rep and then becomes a cheap reproduction of what it used to be that audiences tend to get more upset - because the creator has built that rep with them and set those expectations, which they're now failing. Look no further than S8 of Game of Thrones. It's often WAY more disappointing than a project just never improving in quality in the first place because you're seeing, in real time, a project you know can do better fail at that and even get worse.
I'll also mention, on a personal note, that I've found shortcuts that I tried and ultimately didn't end up liking, even if they technically improved the output of my work. I started using 3D models last year for my main project, and while they improved my anatomy consistency, now they're making my poses feel very stiff, lifeless and boring, and my characters just don't feel alive anymore. So I'd MUCH rather have expressive art that's a little messy sometimes than stiff art with an accurate hip to torso ratio. I still aim for consistency as best I can, obviously I don't want my characters' appearances to be morphing from panel to panel, but in practice, most people don't care or notice if an arm or leg is a little out of place.
All that said, when it comes to LO, I don't call that stuff out as like, a genuine legit criticism. It's more just because it's hilarious and I often can't believe I never noticed those things (which is exactly the former point I just mentioned at play, most people don't notice these things). So that's where I'll repeat, don't confuse my shitposting of LO and how silly it can look in hindsight with like, legitimate criticism that I would blanket apply to every project I read. Apply common sense where necessary. Don't ever punch down.
And maybe also just don't use me as a monolith for these things, I'm literally just a guy talking shit on the Internet and participating in some of the worst that fandom culture has to offer LOL Time will tell if I will ever pay for my crimes(;´д`)ゞ

WOOO!! Rough Henry design LMAO bonus mini comic thing, BC why not
Y'all try on your mates glasses too, right?
-- Notes under the cut --
- He never shaves his moustache LMAO he does his beard, tho.
- Along with William, he needs glasses to see, but his eyesight is dramatically worse then Wills LOL
- The design is like-- sorta a combo of Henry's Novel and Character files design BSBSVSVSV
- This is his work attire, he wears suitable clothes for engineering ofc
- His wife left 🫡 as to why is unknown. They never fought to the extent of her leaving, but she left Henry behind one day, and Charlie. Charlie constantly thinks about it, but all she and Henry know, is Henry's wife left on good terms.
- Henry was the one to sing "my grandfather's clock" to Charlie as she grew up. Charlie was so fixated over the song, she would hum or sing it whenever they passed a Grandfather clock at the shops. Eventually, Henry created a smaller then average grandfather clock as a gift. This is why it calms the puppet.
- Henry has a habit of getting stressed and frustrated if work isn't going the way he wants. He doesn't lash violently out but he does request quiet and loneliness if he gets too heated. He has a personal punching bag in his shed.
- He originally created Carnie which later was repurposed into Lefty.
- After Charlie's death, he fell into severe depression. He drank heavily and it wasn't until he was confronted by Michael again, that he started seeing a therapist. He is still on edge alot and suffers from his mental health.
-- Relationships --
William:
- His relationship with William is very close lol romantically involved? No clue. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't, I seriously haven't decided, just like I haven't decided with Mike and Jeremy lmao
- Henry is William's crutch. He feels jealousy toward him, but ultimately relies on him most of the time after his own wife left (on bad terms). Henry doesn't mind, though.
- William is considered family to Henry.
- He is also the one to discover Williams corpse inside springbonnie and decided to board up every single safe room. Yikesssssss
- Strangely, Springtrap doesn't act violent toward Henry. He stares just- silently. Watching.
Charlie:
- Loves his daughter more than anything in the world.
- He passionately encourages Charlie's path in wood work after discovering her love for wooden crafts like the aforementioned Grandfather clock and various types of Puppets. Sometimes, if supervised, Henry hands her a block of wood and tools and lets her craft away. She finds peace in wood calving and Henry's utterly joyful.
- He struggles to recognise the Puppet as his own daughter, and unknowingly put her through so much pain when being caught by Lefty. It was only after the capture did he find out that of course the puppet is possessed by his daughter 😭 he just thought it was possessed by a very vengeful ghost. He didn't know that ghost possesed Golden Freddy, and that's why he's not in FNAF Pizzaria Simulator :')
Michael:
- He's on edge around Mike. He reminds him too much of Will.
- After Crying Child and Elizabeth died, aswell as Charlie's murder and William disappearing (he got spring locked rip), Michael lived with Henry shortly before disappearing himself. (He went to the SL bunker.)
- Henry looks after post-scooped Michael.
- Henry doesn't anticipate Mike to be the one to work at the Pizzaria Sim location-- but he knows this is where he wants to be.
#i swear I've seen a design like this before and its bugging me#bc i dont wanna accidentally copy someone else WAA#nonetheless I'm VERY happy with the design!!! colours aren't super correct bc im very limited rn.#ill do a proper ref when i get a new laptop.#henry emily#william afton#fnaf#fnaf au#my fnaf au art#five nights at freddy's#five nights at freddy's au#my art#also reading through the notes again#uhhhh sorry if anyone else did this concept already#i just thought of em on the spot 😭#similarities are completely coincidental
