This evening I drafted, transferred to paper, and finalized the pattern for the capelet.

And i worked on the skirt hem placement for the gathered skirt, pinned on the flowers, and sewed the front skirt panel to the bodice. Idk why the mannequin’s waistline is so much lower than mine.

She’s NOT done yet but she is getting there… tomorrow i plan to true up, hem, and trim the back pleated panel so that i can attach the rest of the black skirts to the bodice and at least pin baste the zipper in.

After i seam rip the front skirt panels and sew them up even higher… bc it’s too long on my torso somehow… onwards…..🫠😮‍💨🤷💛🪡😭🥹🤩

Das Pferd in der Garage 😭😭😭 die haben doch echt nen Knall. Und ihr Plan hat so viele Lücken. Warum muss Atze die eigentlich alle stopfen? Was hatten die ein Glück, dass er da grade vorbeigekommen ist ("nichr verzagen, Atze fragen" halt Motto des Tages). Was wir am Ende aus der Geschichte gelernt haben: wenn man ein Pferd entführt, beschließt der Pferdepfleger endlich die Wahrheit zu sagen und dann wird alles gut. Jo, logisch. (Aber wie Pasulke und Gruppy auf das Pferd in der Garage reagieren war schon Comedy Gold 😂)

Wölfchen tut echt alles, um endlich das dramatische Abspann-Bild zu werden, aber leider reicht auch "in den See fallen" offenbar nicht aus 🤷 Er muss sich wohl einen echten Herzfehler zulegen (verliebt sein reicht nicht!) - Marc bekommt ständig das Abspann-Bild.

Endlich hat Herr Börner begriffen, dass seine Kinder wichtiger sind als sein Job. Mal schauen, wie lang die Erkenntnis anhält. Wenn man sieht, wo oft Katharina und Marc schon wegen irgendwas geläutert waren und dann drei Folgen später die gleichen Fehler wieder gemacht haben, bin ich skeptisch, dass das bei ihrem Vater besser funktioniert 😬

Dann mault sie Budhi an, der genauso wenig falsch gemacht hat. Und zu guter Letzt suhlt sie sich den ganzen Tag in Selbstmitleid, weil nicht all nach ihrer Pfeife tanzen wollen. Geht die mir wieder auf die Nerven 🙄

Die Feuerlösch-Übung von Pasulke und Wolfert im Keller! Ich lieb alles daran!!! Wölfchen entdeckt Decken und Eimer: "Ich wusste gar nicht, dass wir so viele Decken in der Schule haben! ... Ich wusste gar nicht, dass wir so viele Eimer in der Schule haben!" It's exciting, I know 😂 Und dann will er nicht der freiwilligen Feuerwehr beitreten, weil er nicht der Typ für Helme und Vereine ist? Oh come on, wer ist bitte mehr der Typ für Helme und Vereine als Wolfert?! 😛

Die Einsteiner und die Dorfkids machen ein gemeinsames Pfingstfeuer, awwwww, ich schmelze, ich liebe es, wenn sie Sachen zusammen machen 🥹 und wir haben direkt unseren nächsten Umweltskandal! Wurde auch mal wieder Zeit^^ aber kann mir mal jemand sagen, warum die nicht direkt die Polizei rufen, damit die Ölfässer aus dem See geholt werden können, bevor noch mehr ausläuft? Stattdessen warten sie bis zum nächsten Tag, um das Öl im Unterricht zu untersuchen. hä? 🫠 Aber die Dorfkids (inkl Oliver) und Tom nehmen das jetzt in die Hand und jagen die Umweltverschmutzer 💪

Und wir bekommen die nächste Vater-Sohn-Geschichte. Nach Oliver, Marc und Pascal lernen wir jetzt auch Attest Vater kennen. Und auch der hat offenbar ziemlich was verbockt. Irgendwie kommen Väter in dieser Staffel nicht so richtig gut weg 😅

Please Please Me: A 16yo's (horrible) album review

I Saw Her Standing There 🧍: She was just 17 apparently! Honestly I reallyyyy like the song !! She's electric and vibrant. Uber catchy and is kinda adorbs ! I'm not 17 but I shall imagine that this song captures what it's like to be 17 in some way, shape, or form ( hopefully, maybe not idk ).

Misery 💧: uh, babe it's giving break up !!! If I made a song like this all I'd hear is "God stop wallowing in self pity and get yourself back up there !!" But sometimes people need a little time to rot in their feels and I think this song is great for that !!! It's not super catchy but overall I didn't hate it. Music doesn't need to be catchy to be good >:3

Anna (Go To Him) 💍: I LOVE ITTTTTT. Man, Anna's a meanie girl ! What she did was dirttyyyyyy 😭😭 but good on the guy for letting her go and be happy even tho he couldn't be,,,, it was so sweet !! Uh anyway yeah this song is so good. I love how longing and sad it sounds. It's like if Misery and I Saw Her Standing There had a baby. It totally fits the 60's I can see it playing at a dinner or something !! Also, Anna girl, give that ring back !! 😭

Chains ⛓️: Honestly I can see myself liking this song in the future (two or three weeks from now) and it's honestly a really unique take on love that I really like. His girl's got him chained down with the chains of love !!! Not in an oppressive and controlling way but she's got him locked in !!! He loves her so much, they're connected 😣

Boys 🤷: Erm. Gay Anthem?? Don't know what to think about this one I really don't know 😭😭 talks about 'em all the time I guess??

Ask Me Why ❓: It's so cute !! I can also see this one being played at an old diner. The do-wop sound is like, addictive and supperrrr catchy. Really like this song. Kinda reminds me of A World Without Love by Peter and Gordon !!

Please Please Me 🫵: Honestly kinda forgot about her ?? After the first listen it was like I just had a fever dream. But also that might have been because I was in the car with my parents talking and I could hear them through my headphones so idk you tell me :/ but now that I've relistened to the album while writing the reviews I love this one!

Love Me Do ❤️: Don't really jive with this one :/ it's not a bad sing but it just wasn't my cup of tea !! I feel bad saying that 'cause I don't wanna be the typical teen that "only listens to catchy, simple songs" but this one just wasn't there for me the way Please Please Me and Anna were 😭😭

P.S. I Love You 💌: ITS SO CUTTTEEEEE !!!!! Was this song a precursor to All My Loving like, directly ??? If it wasn't I probably look stupid saying that but whatevs. This song is like, old and faded is a really lovely way like,,, who writes letters anymore, it's so romantic!!! The simple guitar is like, really bleeding through to me for some reason idk good job George !!!

Baby It's You 💕: 60s came through with this one. She is PUNGENT. It's giving Runaround Sue !! This one just feels like a classic.

Do You Want To Know A Secret 🫠: Elementary school yard ramped up!!! I can almost hear the children playing and yelling in the background it's so cutesy. Overall a pretty good track. Wouldn't mind hearing it again !!

A Taste of Honey 🍯: Reminds me of a song i'd hear in Rango.. hmm. I don't like this song as much as I feel I should?? Didn't quite give with me, it's just another track I guess (idk this review felt mean 😭😭)

There's a Place 🏩: Its like an amalgamation of all of the songs in the album. I'm hearing baby it's you, please please me, and literally everything else idk it's so strange

Twist and Shout 🌀: This song is iconic. There's nothing I cans at that will add or take anything away. Might be a bit overrated idk it's just me . But it's uber high energy and I like it !!

I feel like I'm the only one who didn't have any 'Bloodborne vibes' while playing Lies of P, for me Lies of P has its own unique atmosphere I've never experienced in any other games. I don't know, maybe it's because I didn't play Bloodborne a lot (I speedran the last part of the game 💀) or something like that 🤷

Please tell me I'm not the only one who think that 🫠

Certainly and expectedly the most emotional concert I've ever been to for so many reasons (crying/welling up well into the double digits throughout 😂)

Got spooky for me too the times Josh sounded like Taylor but was blocked by the crowd and my mind's eye was just filling in the blanks with memory 🫠🙃

Important notes:

(woke up with a really sore lower back for no reason the day before which hadn't eased, but tbh - standing for hours on end aside - my subdued movements matched the expected overall vibe of tentatively sombre initially meets let's go fucking mental when the mood takes us! Lots of first timers in the crowd too so a bubbling sense of the unknown pervaded ✨ surrounded by almost entirely good sorts including a wildcard wee lady who appeared out of nowhere when the music started, ready to thrash so hard her hair got my eyeball and mouth at one point 😂 the most polite vibe tall guy I've ever come across at a gig and the most hilariously polite off-their-nuts group excusing themselves to go to and from mosh pit area, one had a comedy large backpack which I reckon he needed as a travelling apothecary)

• Rami aced his intro again by playing Flower of Scotland - it's an easy win that is always going to work 😂 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

• And couldn't quite get a pic that captures it properly but Rami had a lil guy with a hat labelled executive potato I think 🤷😂🥔💗 (Very last image)

Treated to a walkway performance of Skin and Bones (written in Scotland during a T in the Park turns out!), Under You (Dave still didn't quite manage through this time but keeps trying! 🥲) and Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners!! (and he shared he only later discovered the trapped miners requested an iPod of Foo Fighters not cos they were big fans but cos they wanted something to drown out the drilling 🤣) (and we found the German man at the front of the queue got to! 😂🙌 Like a Euros exchange programme)
