I've been thinking about the SSSniperwolf and Jacksfilms doxxing situation some more.

A lot of YouTubers who covered it said Jack went too far with how many videos he made parodying her content. Like?? That's the point. Sniperwolf does daily uploads of low effort reacts and Jack was copying that. Except he was showing how to make transformative reacts with things like Sniperwolf bingo. His channel JJJacksfilms is a direct parody of SSSniperwolf. Jack also never brought up Sniperwolf's past controversies or made things personal (Despite her being in an active lawsuit). He just focused critizing her reactions.

Also, SSSniperwolf was so dumb for escalating this to a crime. I don't even mean in the sense she was dumb for doing a crime, I mean in the sense she could have gotten out this react-gate pretty cleanly in the long run. These types of controversies have a life span for how long the public will support before they move on. If she just ignored Jack the momentum of his movement would eventually die out. She may take a few hits (apparently her views are going down) but she would not have been seriously effected in the long run. YouTube was probably never going to make big policy changes around react content. She could go back to doing her lazy reacts. Her doxxing Jack means this will follow her forever.

Now, I think the big reason why SSSniperwolf did escalate to doxxing is because Jacksfilms was effective. YouTube may not have been taking action, but small content creators were. In his recent videos more content creators were coming to him, asking him how to report their stolen content, and he walked them through it. Instead of letting her videos get claimed she edited the reported pieces out but this shortened her videos- making it so they don't qualify for ad revenue. I think this is what really got to her.

Anyone who says Jack is being weird or creepy by making videos and streams on Sniperwolf has clearly never participated in a single bingo night or watched a single stream highlight

I think what makes me the most mad about the Sniperwolf (Lia) and Jacksfilm situation is that nothing is going to happen.

For context: Lia runs a "reaction" channel on Youtube. The reason why "reaction" is in quotation marks is because she doesn't really react. She will literally just narrate whatever is happening on screen, steal a joke in the top comment, or will just cut out part of a video to steal the OP's joke.

Since all her videos have the same structure, Jack started a bingo game (bbbingo streams) of her video and they were really funny.

Overall, the number one thing that Jack wanted was for Lia to stop stealing jokes/content and she didn't, this whole thing could've been (mostly) avoided if she just credited people.

It was pretty obvious that Lia hated this as she knew about Jack and would try to start drama on Twitter but things took a turn when Jack started to hit her where it hurts, her wallet.

As Jack started to get more popular, people started to turn to him for support/help to get their videos taken off of Lia's videos, videos that were barely over 8 minutes long, and it worked. Since videos need to be at least 8 minutes to be monetized and her videos barely made it over the 8 minute mark, she started to take this personally and decided that the best course of action was to dox him.

With the rise in geoguessers, doxxing is such a big thing. I can't speak about doxxing from a personal experience but from what I've heard, it's life ruining.

When Youtube caught wind of this, they didn't really do anything. Yes, there was that tweet about how Youtube putting a temporary monetization ban on her videos but she's still making money.

Lia makes more money in a month than some of us do in our life times yet when she started to lose what are essentially pennies to her, she decided that it was the perfect opportunity to dox someone. She not only put Jack's life in danger but she put an innocent bystander's life in danger too, Jack's wife, Erin.

Youtube is protecting her because she makes them too much money and because her subscribers are mostly kids, she's not going to lose subscribers. Nothing is going to happen to her in the long run. Capitalism is made to protect the rich.

it's so weird when I CANT find the attractive features in someone. I usually feel nothing and can still objectively see the good looks in ppl. Like even if they're not "conventionally attractive" I guess even if I hate that idea. But for years sniperwolf would like. Unnerve me too much? I see her face and she gives me like that weird uncanny valley effect. Even in her old pics before her procedures. And it's like. Why??? Esp if she's talking or something like her lips moving and mouth moving literally give me the flight or fight reaction and I just click out. I would watch jackfilms bingo without ever looking at her face bc of it. But I've been mildly aware of this woman for years and never bothered learning more abt her just bc of this. Why???

Jacksfilms has been criticisjng Sniperwolf and making a bingo of her content to show how easy and lazy it is while also crediting all the creators she freeboots from. In response to this, Lia (Sniperwolf) showed up outside his house, offered to "speak to him like adults" and posted a photo of his house onto her 5 million follower Instagram, affectively doxxing him and putting him and his family in danger

A few years ago she also made a video on Omegle asking little kids to twerk for her and didn't censor their faces at all (she also said she'd show these children her tits as a reward)

She was also arrested for armed robbery a few years back
