I'm curious about your last smurfs post - what are your other ships?

Papa Smurf x Smurfwillow (or Papawillow as I also call it), Handy Smurf x Marina and Grandpa Smurf x Nanny Smurf are amongst my top favourites.

I used to have a certain ship with Brainy too, but then NTOB punched me right in the face with his adorable interractions with Smurfblossom and, huh, let's say I have a new favourite with him lol

And I also like Poet Smurf x Painter Smurf, Grouchy Smurf x Vexy a bit too (even if it's mostly through my own interpretation of their dynamic lol) and Clumsy Smurf x Smurfstorm as well (thank you Lost Village).

I headcanon that Smurflily has a one-sided attraction to Smurfette (tragic lesbian romance my beloved), that Chef Smurf has a secret crush on Chef Toctoque (you know, that human cook in Mission Vileaf he keeps gushing about) and that Farmer Smurf is the local aromantic who likes to ship his fellow Smurfs together.

Nobody asked but I'm excited about this, so here's a headcanon/theory I have that I'm adding into my Smurfs fanfic. Please hear me out:

When a baby Smurf is delivered by stork to a village, it's because it had no capable guardian. The loss of their guardian turns the moon physically blue- it doesn't have to be an actual blue moon. Papa used Baby's arrival to convince his Smurfs this is how Smurfs are born, but Smurfs are hermaphroditic and do actually reproduce sexually. Papa is just embarrassed by the whole idea of talking about it.

I also hc that both Papa and Willow's villages are formed entirely out of Smurfs that have been delivered by stork. This is because neither found a partner and so were able to adopt and raise new baby Smurfs from other parents, rather than having their own. It's kinda similar to kea (alpine parrots native to New Zealand) that don't find partners - they run schools for groups of young kea to learn kea skills.

And some things I have considered:

Wild- got lost but was adopted by squirrels before the stork could take him to a village. The squirrels were deemed worthy parents and so wild was left with them.

Baby delivered to wrong village in comic (this theory only works for the lost village/ntob timeline) - he's actually a 'girl' smurf with alopecia and was meant for the girls' village, but the stork got mixed up because he was hairless and it thought he was a true hairless Smurf like the rest of the 'boy' Smurfs. In reality he will never be able to grow hair, even at Papa's age.

The system is to help prevent the already dwindling Smurf population from falling even further. It's just an idea and I'm sure there are holes but yk

Also I consider the 'boy' Smurfs to just be hairless Smurfs, and 'girl' Smurfs to just be Smurfs with head hair.

Kinda like a dog breed situation, where each one finds more familiarity with their own breed and so the storks group them together.

Jealous of Diaper Daddy, Handy Smurf crafts himself a dysfunctional and overpowered exoskeleton. Diaper Daddy is the only one who can save him.

Emboldened by her own talents, Stormy enlists Lily and Blossom to help her chase Gargamel out of the forest forever... but unknowingly leads them into a trap!

Hefty Smurf accidentally switches bodies with Baby Smurf when Smurfstorm challenges him.

SmurfLily gets a pet Dragon named Voltaire, an ice-breathing dragon. Rowena quickly finds out about him. Voltaire is then forced to follow Rowena's orders when she casts a spell on him.

The Ultimate Prank

Jokey Smurf pulls a prank on the whole village, who has all turned into rocks (and not Jokey).

All of the Smurfs are turned into pebbles when one of Jokey's pranks goes wrong.

Rowena's Plant

Rowena tricks Clumsy and Dimwitty Dopey into helping her cure a venus flytrap plant, but she secretly plans to capture all of the Smurfs.

What a Doll

Rowena casts a spell on Vanity and Smurfstorm, turning them into dolls.

Weakling wants a dragon of his own after seeing Lily with Voltaire. And so, he decides that having a dragon around would solve all his problems. But then, Voltaire swallows up Weakling, and it's up to Lily to get him out.

Magic Meltdown

Chef Smurf uses a cauldron from Papa Smurf's lab. But things quickly turn bad when the cauldron magically comes to life!

The Great Smurf Games

Clumsy Smurf wants to win the Smurf Olympics Great Smurf Games, in hopes of winning the prize, which is a magic sphere that grants a wish to the winner (His wish is to become Graceful Smurf). Meanwhile, Dwayne and Rowena infiltrate the games (as Grouchy and SmurfStorm) in order to get access to a wish-granting sphere.
