in the original post that was on my old deleted blog (ophelium-flowers), it was implied that [name] held dormant but divine potential, piquing the interest of dottore, in case you weren’t aware or hadn’t seen the original.

to throw [name] off, zandik took on the identity of their older sibling/father figure xiao, who then proceeded to set fire to their abode, successfully making them think as if it was the real alatus was the one with the lighter.

it was never zandik’s intention to kill you in the first place. he only wanted you to think that alatus had grown ashamed and tired of you WHICH IS NOT TRUE BTW, so they only passed out from the lack of oxygen.

in conclusion, [name] didn’t die to the fire. dottore simply created the illusion that they did, when in reality, they’re most definitely alive, but obviously with some major changes i’m not sure the other adepti, especially xiao, will be able to take lightly.

hai smooches.. i cant stop overbrainrotting over two dotty segments lately ..segment who feels the failure pf not being able to cure fragile! reader..and the stern and stoic segment, the one who u wrote as number 4 in ur fic i think?, i cant stop thinking about them 😞

i feel like the failure segment enjoys when u go to his office and sit on the table and he places his hands where ur trapped between them, and he just,, stares at reader.. i feel like a lot of segments do this especially the okder ones but i feel like they do it to fluster reader and flirt w them but not this segment..he just wants to look at u nd only u, then as he keeps lookingn at fragile!reader they place their hands on his cheeks and he flinches bc he was zoning out while admiring them but then his eyes just soften.. hes so precious..

im not sure how segment 4 would interact w fragile!reader but i know reader gets away w a lot of things others would NEVER humor the thiught of doing becayse he just loves u sm do u think hes also a sucker for their attention and affectionate touches?

(x) AWW I LOVE THIS ANON... You're making me brainrot heavily about those segments as well! Ahh the segment of Dottore feeling an overwhelming sense of failure always makes me... sigh. (If i get more brainrots about this one, I'll probably give him a name haha.) And we can call 04 Delta! (Greek alphabet and all.) (This got WAY longer than I anticipated. Oopsies.)

The segment that feels like he failed you is obviously very attention-starved - at this stage of Dottore's life he neglected to care about anything besides you and his other Fatui duties. Constantly pushing himself inhumanely to obtain even the slightest bit of progress for you. But always ending up with nothing to show. So seeing you awake is very... mhm, I'm not sure the best word but, it's... a lot. As much as he desires your attention (just as every other segment does) he tends to keep his distance since he's not sure to act around you. Dottore himself represses the feeling that he's failing you so he's very much more outward about being all over you, but this segment is entirely open about it and he doesn't know how to act. He looks on from afar and bears witness to your happiness instead. His greatest goal at that stage in his life finally accomplished. (But of course you're not gonna leave this poor bb alone. He gets all the kisses.)

Pretty much no one visits this segment's office, except for the occasional segment and all. He works with no other Fatuis, no, purely by himself because of his very closed-off attitude. Which is why of course when you barge into his office he's naturally caught off guard. He's like... very quiet, uncharacteristically so because like, all the segments would love to talk your ear off but not this one. Either he's quiet or grouchy and snappy to others (not you.) He just watches you as you walk around his lab, responses to your questions rather shortly. It's not that he wants to ignore you this is just... very new for him, considering how long he had to deal with you being motionless.

Until you finally have enough and just plop yourself on his desk, preventing him from doing his work. AHHH the part where you're trapped and he stares at you.... giggles insanely he so does!. Also, you are so right. The other segments do that 100% to tease you, they wanna just kiss you all over and bite and lick while you squirm and blush under them! But this segment, he wants to take in every detail about you. He wants to see how lively you are now, examine every single thing that's different from when you were asleep for so painfully long. He wants to feel how warm you are, how you respond to his movements this time. He wants to hear you simply reassure him that he did everything he could and you're thankful.

Teehee Delta... honestly I wasn't even paying much mind when I dubbed him as the serious segment but!! We're rolling with it! He's one of the segments that literally never smiles. But unlike the others who don't smile either, he's just eternally serious... like at least the Akademiya segment is grumpy and all. You're honestly kind of scared at first because at least the smiles of the others make you feel better... but obviously he is a sucker for your attention hehe, no segment can ever deny this!

You LOVE cracking bad jokes with this segment to see his reaction 😭😭 (there is none besides him staring holes into you) As you said, you can do a lot of silly things and he would just scoff and gently reprimand you, you'll wrap your arms around his head and squish it while lathering him with kisses and he'll just sigh... (the blush is very very faint.) You know that pose where people put their hand against their forehead and lean back in distress? You love doing that with Delta. It's very funny, dramatically falling back into his chest only to be met with 😐

Still, despite his stern and rough tendencies, like all the segments, he's cautious of your health, and will be blunter than others about you pushing yourself or trying to hide your pain. When it comes to your health he tolerates nothing, if it could potentially hurt you. While you're appreciative, you wish he could calm down about that a bit...

So.. Remember when i said last time that i have a brainrot about Capitano's Childhood Crush with fragile!reader? In ur Capitano Childhood Crush fic, reader always sends a lot of letters to him but he never recieved them, right? (It was disheartening, just like what u said on the fic..) And, Well..

Imagine that all of the letters are about reader telling him about their conditions, their illness getting worse and worse, until the last one about reader wanting to see him again for last time..

When Capitano wanted to see them again, he sends some of his Fatui agents to search for reader whereabouts (since it would be too dangerous for reader's safety if he is the one who come to them, also he never see them among the crowds for a very long time whenever he and his troops came back, reader always come to see him..).

Now, imagine his reaction when his agents told him that reader is already dead a long time ago or when he finally found all of reader's letters 😔

HI 🥝 ANON!! I MISSED YOU! And don't worry about popping in! I want you to take care of yourself first above all! I hope you enjoy the plentiful Dottore brainrots though :3 (and i promise to post some Capitano brainrots. Just for you.) BUT AHHH THIS BRAINROT... WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME SAD. (Yes, I remember when I put that in my fic! I can't believe it was so long ago though- you made me go back and reread it 😭)

Imagine if you live in a secluded part of Snezhnaya. It's quiet and pretty with only the servants in the house to keep you company. Capitano let you stay here instead of the mansion because staying in that big house without him would probably make you sadder. Though you are already sad without him, it's a bit better. But you spend a lot of time writing him letters. It was a habit of yours, telling him what you've done all this time even though he's not here. Some letters get sent, some don't. But you always put the happier stuff in the letters that get sent to him. He's out doing a lot of hard work, you don't want to bother him with your illness! Though anyone could see the lingering sadness in your letters. However, the battlefield is a tough place and the long distance doesn't help your case. Things are bound to get lost and go missing. So you're left waiting, and waiting, and waiting for your husband's replies that never come... Eventually, you stop sending them, instead keeping them in a box.

Although Capitano is busy with his mission, he wonders why you haven't reached out to him. Amidst the war and battle, he does look forward to your sweet letters, perhaps your handwriting may not be the best, but he loves to see how his darling is doing. He of course focuses on his duties, but he always thinks of you. So it wouldn't hurt to send an agent to report on you, since clearly communication isn't the best right now. When the soldier arrives and hears of your demise, he isn't sure how to break the news to his Harbinger. All he can do is hope that the letter makes it to him after the battle is over, so morale isn't too down. And it does. The Fatui win this battle, and the letter comes just in time. Ah, finally he can see how you're doing, Capitano thinks. But when he reads the first sentence, he's... well, I can't explain his emotions very well. Empty would be a good word. Why? Why didn't he know? Couldn't something have been done? You were find before he left, how did your condition worsen that quickly?

He won't know, because he won't ever hear your voice again.

AND YEAHHH i saw that leak too but. To be honest i don't really believe it, a bunch of story leaks have turned out to be trolls so tbh i don't really pay attention to them anymore, especially when they're so far into the future 😅 But my c6r1 Arlie savings are going strong right now! HIIII ITS 🎐 ANÓN HERE! I HOPE YOURE DOING AMAZING CUTIE PIE MWA MWA! I’m writing this pretty late but fragile reader who used to paint in their free time before getting sick. Which they were praised for back when they could, but nowadays since they have trouble moving and need to depend on the clones, they can’t draw or paint anymore…which makes them sad since they would really want to draw something for Dottore and the clones, but even picking up a pen is difficult nowadays…I can imagine fragile reader has tried to draw something but, their hands are so shaky the most they can draw now are simple figures like stick men…if anything it looks more like a 5 year old did it than an actual adult…and one day they tried to draw but to not luck…so they just crumble up the paper and throw it to the side. Unaware that one of Dottore’s clones was watching. So once reader is put to sleep, the clone picks up the wrinkled piece of paper to see that they actually tried drawing a few random things, but they tried drawing Dottore most of all…and a few clones! Which is impressive with how shaky their hands are now. The clone shows the “masterpiece” to Dottore, who just stares at blankly, but internally he’s actually surprised reader could even do that…he could still recall how lovely they used to draw before they got ill…and how they actually even promised to draw him…so Dottore takes the wrinkles up paper and tells the clone to go back to work. But, as he does experiments/paper work (idk), he looks back on the drawing, which does look like it was drawn by a 5 year old…but yet, Dottore can’t help but feel glad somehow…seeing that despite the fact reader is so ill, they continue to think of others despite their condition…which he can’t help but fold up the paper nicely and put it in a drawer for safe keeping.

Anyways I got lazy at the end but take this is a small Drabble! I’m sorry if it’s not the best ;w; It was a random thought I made up since I’m an artist myself and I couldn’t help but have to write it! I hope you enjoy reading it though! I LOVE YOU SMOOCHES MWAH MWAH KISS KISS CHU CHU!! ❤️❤️

Associating with the arts was always a daunting task if you lived in Sumeru. Dancing, singing, drawing, hell, even writing was looked down upon if it wasn’t academically related. And while you did face a large amount of side eyes and tongue clicking from the Akademiya folks, there was surprisingly a great number of people who enjoyed your art, and you were immensely grateful for them. But no one quite inspired you as much as Zandik.

You were honestly baffled when he didn’t turn his nose up at your paintings. You had kept it a secret from him, hidden drawings in a concealed compartment of your shared dorm, but he still managed to find out, when you were so into your painting you did not realize his arrival. You thought that considering how much of a man of science he was, he'd think that painting was a waste. But you were wrong.

That was so long ago, it hardly mattered now. After all, reminiscing about the old times only served to make you more downhearted. What good was it when it was just a painful reminder of what you could not do anymore? The simple action of gliding pen against paper had become an activity that you started to dread. Your shaky hands always produced what you desired least, crude stickmen and doodles littering the page you’d wasted. It looked like a child’s mindless scribbles, and you sure felt like one after all your unfruitful labor. It was no use, you decided, throwing it into the trash. You simply weren’t in the same state as you were before.

You go to sleep tired as usual, and a clone is cleaning your room as usual. There is never much to clean, but Prime had made it a rule to keep your quarters as clean and spacious as possible. Needless to say, the clone is surprised to see a lone crumpled ball at the bottom of the bin. He can’t help but be curious - all of the clones crave to get to know you on a personal level - and is surprised at the painstakingly drawn art. The segment can tell you erased a copious amount of times, from all the wrinkles and barely legible lines. Yet he knows how great a feat this is, considering your condition. The rough art can’t help but make him grin too - he can still recognize some of his fellow clones and his creator despite the lack of proportions.

When Zandik sees the image, a sense of surprise but also relief flows through him. Surprised that you still managed to pull this off, and relief that you are still yourself despite everything that has happened. He knows that your body has changed, but he doesn’t want you yourself to change. Though the drawing may seem distasteful to anyone else, he is content.

You are still trying, and he shall too. He swears that you’ll be able to deliver that painting you promised to him centuries ago.

Okay okay! I know I’m flooding your inbox again but I have some fluff! (With angst) so if you don’t mind! —Okay I just have to say that soft Dottore is <3 especially since he’s cold and serious all the time (and doing evil man things) so him being soft for his lover could make me cry!! (especially since although he may have a soft spot for you him actually being full blown soft is like once in a blue moon) Okay okay so! Dottore most likely takes a few weeks or maybe more than a month to make new medication for Fragile!Reader whenever his last prototype fails. And with it I’m sure he gets frustrated, of course never to sweet little you. But, at times these medications he makes can have their side effects. Which is why Dottore almost always supervises you himself whenever he injects you with these medications. Since well, your fragile body sometimes may reject them, or lead to you on some occasions feeling fatigued or nauseated. So usually when you do receive a new medication you find yourself in his lab for most of the day. Always having to inform him how you’re feeling and if something feels off. Zandik of course is always keeping a keen eye on you even if he might be busy with some experiment. As one moment you can be talking about some fun thing you had done with the clones a few days ago, and the next you could be vomiting or worse, faint. So to say that Zandik isn’t concerned about you is an understatement. He really wishes he didn’t have to experiment new medications on you every few weeks or so to hopefully cure your illness. (He has injected at times some of his “patients” with the medication he’d use before giving it to you, but since your body is frail and weak the outcomes are always much different than compared to a regular healthy person) but Zandik would definitely let you sit on his lap while he works. Since he knows you’re very very vulnerable in this state. Which he doesn’t mind (as much as he hates to admit it Dottore is quite possessive over you) and he’ll even gently caress your hair with his free hand while the other writes away. So although you may feel yucky and absolutely exhausted. Zandik tries his best to alleviate your pain. Since you always say that being near him or being held by him makes you feel 1000% better. (Which he knows may not be true in actuality, but he just wants to make his lover happy) ૮꒰ྀི⊃´ ꒳ `⊂ྀི꒱ა

But I hope you enjoy this brainrot I thought of this at like 12 AM at midnight since the power in our neighborhood was out for a whole 2 hours this past Sunday. I am happily consuming soft Dottore, thank you for this sm 😭 (soft dot has been on my mind lately, I'm just. I need him to cuddle me) You’re so right, if he isn’t being serious, he’s being cunning or mocking too, so seeing him being actually genuine with his love for you!! Is so! <33 You can’t help but feel special because you’re the only person who will ever witness him like this!

It’s kind of funny actually. Dottore, the mad doctor, spending this much time on a cure. Helpful medicine. Everyone else would guess that instead he’s concocting poisons and injections to hurt others with (which they aren’t wrong) but they would never guess he’s carrying out genuine doctor things. Which he honestly couldn’t blame them for. If anyone saw how softly he acted with you, well… either they’d be dead, or he’ll never live it down if it was one of the Harbingers.

You dread taking new medications or getting shots, but you can’t help but feel you owe it to Zandik. You know how hard he works on these things, only for them to not work. His expression remains the same but you know he feels disappointed every time nothing seems to change in your condition. At the very least, you have a good amount of time to finally hang around him uninterrupted. Archon knows how challenging it is to be a Harbinger’s spouse, much less Dottore’s, with his schedule and lack of time. And to have his undivided attention on you? Phew.

Being treated by him so softly is enough to make you swoon!! But too bad you feel too tired to do that, so you have to opt for snuggling into his chest on his lap (which is arguably more comfy than your bed.) Feeling his gloved hand stroke your hair along with the soothing sound of pen against paper is far more relaxing than you thought it’d be. It felt like you could sleep for hours. Seeing him so concerned about your needs was so <3 to you, even though you felt crappy and down, he still wanted to be in your company and comfort you too <3

Omfg I love this crazy psycho doctor man so much. He would be so good with you too, he would have all the necessary equipment and such when you start to show certain side effects, already have his bed prepared for you to nap in if you get tired. He has many notebooks dedicated to you and how your condition, mental and physical, has changed over the countless years, he even has a section for new things he noticed about you and certain things you told him that he found amusing. Of course the lengths he would go to for you is limitless and he’d have some unwilling test subjects ready for whatever batch of medicine he’s working on next 🚶‍♀️(This is a little hc I thought of literally just now, but I was thinking, since he’s a doctor and all, he probably draws diagrams of the body every now and then, so what if he doodles you sometimes ;( he finds himself drawing your hand with your wedding ring on it!!)

I hope you’ve been doing well and enjoying your week! I’ve had this small thought of fragile!reader for a while now so I now give this to you! I hope this doesn’t seem nsfw/suggestive it’s just fluffy fluff ><

Okay okay enough of my rambling! But fragile!reader and Dottore taking a bath together I think would be so so sweet. I think you’ve done something similar to this in the past (I’m not 100% sure so correct me if I’m wrong!) but I think that both of them being so vulnerable and being able to see each others body’s. Dottore most likely was forced into taking a bath with you, as with how fragile you are, he’s scared he would somehow hurt you. But you always reassure him that you love taking baths with him and that it’s something you always look forward to! With how fragile and weak reader is, I would imagine a clone or sometimes Zandik himself, helps them clean up and get all nice. Since your body is probably littered with bandages due to how much Dottore constantly injects you with medicine. But, they’re always so so gentle whenever they gently scrub your body n wash your hair with some lovely scented shampoo <3 (on more than one occasion you’ve definitely accidentally fallen asleep when a clone washes your hair because of how nice and relaxing it feels) but onto the main focus (sorry I went completely off topic there ໒꒰ྀིっ˕ -｡꒱ྀི১ )

But I think when you and Zandik do take baths, you two usually just admire eachother. Or well, you admire Zandik’s body. Since you always get to trace the many scars littered across his arms, hands, and chest. Sometimes if you’re even in a teasing mood, you kiss a few scars, which in return usually leads to Zandik having his ears tinted pink. (Yet he just blames it on the hot water) and I think Zandik would also in turn do the same. Gently caressing your body and soft bites on your neck or cheeks. Or even just admiring how perfect you are in his eyes, even if you may have scars, stretch marks, or things about your body that you don’t particularly like. (He always shoots down you talking negatively about your body because you’re literally perfect!!? Like there’s a reason he chose your and only you!) but this wouldn’t be a boo boo bear fic without angst. I think whenever you two do take baths and you’re just sitting in silence with your back pressed against his chest, he most likely notices how more bandages cover your frail body because of the injections. Or the bruises/cuts that you get whenever you trip or fall because of your weak legs not being able to hold you up. It only encourages him to focus more on your cure than his other experiments or Fatui related duties. And it only makes him to want to go for weeks on end without sleep. But of course, he’ll just have to enjoy these sweet tender moments he gets to enjoy with you. Even if most of the time you’re already asleep, he gently picks you up from the tub and wraps a soft fluffy blanket around you. Eventually changing you and tucking you into bed. Giving you a soft forehead kiss and leaving your bedroom. Only more determined in curing you soon.

CRYING I FEEL SO HAPPY READING THIS… yes yes you two definitely take baths together ;( Vulnerability is something that’s hard for both of you. Hard for you because your illness has made your insecurities about yourself increase. Hard for Dottore for obvious reasons, even now he still finds it hard to lower his guard this much around someone (but he still does, and continues to be confused and surprised by how nice it feels.)

You always have to drag him into the bath with you. In reality he would really like to. But when he sees how fragile you are, inwardly he curses himself for not hurrying up with your cure. Not to mention he is not the best with comforting you especially when you’re such in an open and vulnerable state. So he tends to let you be and trust the clones to take care of you. Luckily you’re smart about it and you always drop the idea of it when the two of you have already spent some time together, so this way he can’t escape you. (You always love the royalty treatment you get when he rolls his eyes and comments at your neediness but picks up you with ease and lets you rest while he sets the bath, making sure the temperature is just right for your body and health.)

It just felt so nice. And not just the soothing feeling of sinking into water and letting your worries float away. To others it may sound like a silly thing to be so excited over. But for you this was some of your highly cherished moments. It was where you felt you could be yourself with Zandik. You wouldn’t be judged about anything. There was nothing that could disturb the two of you. No sounds besides the splashing of the water. All responsibilities and troubles drifted away with the soap suds. It even felt like the concept of time didn’t exist. Only the two of you mattered right now. Not to mention Zandik takes his mask off so you could stare at his pretty face for a long time :) It was always a sight to see. Even though it was scarred he was still the most handsome to you.

Though a lot of the bath is simply you two appreciating each other’s body wholesomely. You’re always the one to initiate it (you can’t help it, sometimes you wonder how you got so lucky) and you always rest your head on his wet chest, gently kissing the scars there, snaking your arms around him and tracing the ones on his back too, while he just looks at you in amusement. When you’re feeling playful you’ll kiss the ones on his neck too and you can feel him to the same too ;( The gentle graze of his pointy teeth is strangely pleasant and he knows it. (Once during the Akademiya you were curious as to how sharp his sharky teeth were, and you asked him to bite you with force. You needed to put a bandage on it after that, and he had the audacity to be surprised at his own strength.) You always take the chance to wash his fluffy hair. You don’t know how he gets it so nice with so minimal effort. Turns out even he doesn’t know. But he looks quite cute when his hair is completely damp and it’s no longer bouncy, sticking to his face.

Of course you are the epitome of beauty for Zandik. No other being, human or not, comes close to you. This is extremely high praise from him considering he doesn’t see beauty or perfection in anything else. He doesn’t care about others in the slightest. He only sees you, and how you embody those traits. If you ever try to hide your body from him, he’ll just trap you in his arms so you can’t run away. And just tell you straight up not to be ridiculous. That since your days in the Akademiya he’s only had eyes for you. That every single part of you is alluring and makes him want more. He doesn’t mean to hurt you with his tone or anything. But he’s very serious when he says stuff like that. If it were possible he’d give you his eyes so you can see how he sees you (I mean it quite literally)

Even though you’re the one dragging him into this you always fall asleep first on his chest. And it’s this time when he fully gets to take notes of your body. Once again he wishes that you didn’t need to go through this. He longs for the day he holds the cure in his hand. When he gets to see you do everything you used to with ease. Maybe get a bruise from running so fast without a care in the world this time instead. Unfortunately you’re not awake to distract him from these thoughts. He takes a look at your face, it’s tired but you’re still smiling. And now he is a bit too, because you’ll always be by his side regardless. He knows you probably wish that he’d cuddle with you right now. But for your sake, he needs to press on.

As for the clones, they have created a schedule between themselves on who helps you clean up on which day. I feel like they exchange notes on which soaps and body washes and scents you like the best - they actually made it themselves, tailored to your likes and body and in case you have sensitive skin. Also, they are blowing the budget on the fluffiest soft towels for you! (Don’t let Pantalone know) I imagine they are always willing to help you since even the simplest tasks can feel exhausting and challenging for you sometimes. If you’re in the mood, sometimes you’ll be really talkative, asking them about lots of things. Or sometimes you’ll let them do all the talking and just listen happily. Or sometimes it’s just silence but comfortable. Either way, it feels very very soft and nice especially when they’re working the soap into your body and scalp (honestly it feels like a massage, depending on which clone you’re with, the older ones are more methodical and slow with it.)

I honestly can't remember writing something like this (if I have it's just been way too long 😭) BUT OMG I LOVED IT SM IT WAS LITERALLY AMAZING SHUSH. synopsis: An experiment gone wrong leads from one thing to the next, and you find yourself turned into a child. Now, how will your lover react?

notes: HEY! Thank you for being my first request <3 I hope you like this as I love Dottore a lot, and tried to make it as fluffy as possible!

This is far from an optimal situation for Dottore. No, this is probably one of the worst-case scenarios for him. Why? Because he does not go well with kids, at all. And now that his lover somehow turned into one of them? Well, he’s at a loss of what to do with you.

It probably happened during one of his experiments gone wrong. He frequently conducts a lot of crazy and… unethical assessments, conjuring up the strangest of colors of liquid in vials that does Archons knows who what. Of course, as his lovely partner and most favored assistant, you are required (whether you like it or not) to oversee and be his right hand during such trials. It’s not so bad though - you get to hear his maniacal laugh, which turns out to be oddly endearing after a while, when something goes right. Perhaps sneak in a smooch or two as well.

But there are times when the experiments go horrifically wrong and even end up blowing parts of the lab up. By this point, you’ve gotten used to it, and even find it funny to see the other Harbingers’ annoyed faces, especially Pantalone’s. What you were not expecting, however, was to have a few vials of unknown contents flung at you by the impact of the explosion. You initially thought it was some samples of blood, but… never mind, your ability to think like an adult is dwindling quite quickly.

Dottore coughed and readjusted his mask, waving the remaining smoke away as his clones cleaned up the mess. Another failure was simply another step to success, he thought. (It was you who had kept repeating this when he sometimes lost his temper over experiments.)

But the familiar buzz was missing your normal sneezes as you tried to read out all of the data and results. He looked over and did not see your familiar cute face, scrunched up as you rubbed dust out your eyes, reading out from the clipboard. A prick of annoyance spiked through him; where were you and why you were not with him? Dottore moved to call out your name but nearly tripped on something on the floor. He was about to curse but the words died in his throat at the sight of mini you.

You were nearly drowning in all the oversized clothes that had become too big for you, stumbling out of your now massive shoes, onto Dottore’s leg. Instinctively, he tried to shake you off, but you only clung tighter and wailed. All you could hear was something something, “prototype”, blah blah “idiots didn’t put it away probably” and a lot more confusing language. Dottore ran his fingers through his hair. Well, shit.

Dottore has to muster every ounce of patience in all of his bodies to handle this. He doesn’t want to be bothered by your childish antics, but at the same time, he can’t bring himself to trust anyone else with you. Honestly, for some strange reason, Dottore feels very off and more irritable if you’re not right there by his side. It perplexes him and annoys him a bit too. Even his clones aren’t such a good idea because they aren’t too fond of kids either and instead awkwardly stand next to you. Even though he itched to continue his research, there was no way he was going to conduct deadly experiments with you bouncing off the walls. Furthermore, he had gotten used to your company and it was useful to have someone take notes for him (even though it was much more than that.) So instead, he puts his clones to work to create an antidote while he resigns himself to his room to do some paperwork.

He might take advantage of this, actually. Dottore is the kind of person who must know everything possible about you down to your exact blood type. Therefore, he is not above asking you questions that you normally won’t answer him due to embarrassment or whatever else. Probably writes what you say down in his notes and drops these facts on you at the most random points in time.

Secretly appreciates it when you make the most basic of compliments toward him even as a kid. Fuels his ego and will harass you with what you said when you’re back to normal. Also feels strangely nice that he knows you genuinely like him so much that even your kid form is saying so.

Has to hide all of the gruesome books and notes from you. He doesn’t want to explain any of that to you and rather not see you cry again. Being with you has helped him to understand positive human emotions better but he’s still quite at a loss since you’re a kid now. He might try to engage in a conversation with you, but I hope you’re a good talker because you’re going to have to do most of the speaking here. Eventually has his clones bring some candy for you because that’s what they like, he thinks.

It’d also be adorable for you to keep touching and squishing his face and hair. Kids like to touch anything they see, and nothing’s more interesting to you right now than unmasking Dottore’s face. He begrudgingly goes along with it, stiff as a board as you fumble with his mask and toss it to the floor, exclaiming at his unique red eyes. (Dottore’s a silent, unwilling participant in it who swears to get revenge on you later.)

Playing with his earring and flicking it back and forth, is yet another one of the things he puts up with. Makes it a personal note to get you one yourself so the two of you could match. When you ask questions, he unconsciously responds with a whole in-depth scientific response, only to remember that you had zero idea what he was saying. It was a habit of his.

If you somehow manage to get out of the lab and the other Harbingers see you, Dottore will never live it down. Childe now wants to read stories to you while the others are struggling to keep a straight face. Dottore has to drag you away. (They definitely bring up the incident later on and tell you what happened.)

If you remember what happened, don’t expect him to really apologize for his mediocre caretaking skills. However, he’s more than relieved when you’re back to normal. You’re the only competent person on the whole team and he needs you to carry out his goals, Dottore tells you. Nothing more beyond that and experiments, of course. (He is 100% lying. Secretly missed your witty remarks and greatly needs you to keep him on his toes.) Dottore also subtly takes more care in the organization of his lab, only for your safety. He really doesn’t want that happening again. He loves you, just shows in it his own Dottore like way <3.
