DUTIFUL ADEPTUS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis: you're the adeptus created by Morax to watch over Liyue alongside Adeptus Xiao in his absence. When he comes back in his mortal form, he makes sure to tell you to rest  wc: 0.8k warnings!: none
Tumblr media
Being an adeptus was nothing to scoff at. Especially if that adeptus was created by Morax himself
He created you in his image; flowing dark hair with golden tips, sharp golden eyes with a dragon-like glow, brown and golden horns, and the strength to subdue a hundred monsters at a time
He had created you from cor lapis for strength, a silk flower for elegance, and a glaze lilly for wisdom
You were created in the adult image and therefore had no childhood
Your days were spent training with Morax as he taught you the ways of martial prowess and of poetry, song, and story
He always taught you to remain sharp in all aspects of life Additionally, he set you to lead the Yakshas as you were the strongest
You spent your days among the other Yakshas and often found yourself receiving gifts of intricately embroidered Hanfu in varying shades of gold from Menogias
In fact, many temples that were erected in Liyue in your honor have art that depicts you wearing a golden Hanfu
Now, when Morax had to fight in the Archon War, you were left behind watching over the people of Liyue and defending them from such harm
This caused the people of Liyue to see you as a protector and they began to erect temples in your honor and give offerings which in turn, made you stronger
When the war ended, Morax went to rule Liyue from afar, visiting once a year on the rite of Descension
Xiao is a different story, after his fellow Yakshas died from their karma, he tended to distance himself and protect Liyue from afar
Your work was hard. You constantly circled the entirety of Liyue like the sun ensuring that no monsters approached the city, the temples dedicated to the adepti were not desecrated, visiting Cloud Retainer, Mountain Shaper, and Moon Carver
You also visited Ganyu on a weekly basis to ensure that she was doing well working among the humans, watching Gaming as he preformed his Wushou dances, looking out for YaoYao whenever you saw her wandering the wilds, bringing gifts for Shenhe, conversing with Ningguang, talking with Beidou at the wharf, and so on
Basically, you never had time for yourself and you became even more busy when the Traveler came to Liyue
When the whole fiasco was settled Morax or Zhongli came to visit you in your abode
It was the first time you had seen your master face to face for a proper cup of tea and a conversation
It felt like reuniting with a father
"My dear, how have you been?" he asked over the steaming cup of tea. The golden sandbearer trees swayed in the wind as Tubby bubbled in the background  "I have been well master, Liyue prospers every day under my protection" you answer in a serious manner   He sighed slightly and placed his gloved hand on top of yours "Have you been taking some time for yourself?"  "I'm afraid I cannot, master. Even now I am restless."   He smiled slightly and squeezed your hand"It is good that you always remain diligent but you must learn to rest"  "As an adeptus I don't need to rest--"   "You do. You will exhibit signs of mental strain, my dear. And you needn't worry. Xiao will always be there to look after Liyue. You do trust him do you not?"   "I do but..."   "Then you will have no problem leaving Liyue in his hands whilst you rest for a moment" he gave you a sincere smile  "...Alright. As you say"
Zhongli finally convinces you to take some time for yourself and mingle with the people of Liyue in a bit of a disguised form
You retract your horns and change your Hanfu to sometime a little less God-like
You found it rather calming to walk among the people that you spend your days protecting
Both you and Xiao fell into a rhythm where you protect the areas surrounding the cities and villages and he deals with the remaining land
Sometimes you can find him on the roof of Wanshu in and he always sits up a little straighter when you approach with a plate of almond tofu
"Adeptus Xiao, how have you been?" you ask as you hand him a pair of chopsticks "...I've been well" he says shortly as he accepts them "Has Zhongli visited you recently? I've seen him around the harbor often" "He has" Xiao responded as he chewed on the almond tofu, he's never much of a talker "Are you attending this years Lantern Rite? Or will you watch from afar?" "I'll be watching from afar" "Then will you...release a kite with me? I know it may sound stupid...but it makes those little humans so happy...it must be quite enjoyable" you said as you munched on a bite of the almond tofu "...sure" you could've sworn he smiled a little
When you see Xiao outside the city, you take walks with him through the Huaguang Stone Forest or through Dihua Marsh
Sometimes you accompany him on the roof of Wangshu Inn and show him how to take pictures of the sunset with the Kamera
Once a month, Zhongli, Xiao, and You have a dinner together in your abode. Placing your trust in the humans to protect their own kind for the night

𝘉𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 !!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Headcanons of Xiao being your older brother!!
A/n ; i might make this a series I always randomly have thoughts of genshin characters being older/younger siblings , ps apologies if xiao is ooc on this (。•́︿•̀。)
Can be read as child or teen !!
Tumblr media
★☆﹒Being xiao’s younger sibling is him teaching you how to fight especially after the cataclysm 500 years ago. How to proper hold, fight and use a polearm personally by your brother and a bit from cloud retainer whenever he was busy completing his tasks.
★☆﹒Xiao will protect all innocences u have even tho he knows you will understand everything that’s happening in the world, it still gives him hope to protect you and not to end up like he did fighting demons where he left off, that is his job, not for you to pick up something he left unfinished if he ever gave up even tho he swears not to only for you
★☆﹒Xiao always leaves you with the rest of the adepti to hang out with so you won’t be bored alone to atleast be entertained or to do something. If you ever wander off and the other adepti tell him where you are with who, he will teleport to you in a blink of an eye and have a worried facial expression. His nerves will calm down when he sees you playing in the field with ganyu watching you.
★☆﹒If you ever want xiao to carry you and nervous to ask, he will notice you wanting to say something and ask you. He will pick you up and carry you on his hip, or he will offer for you to be on his back aka a piggy back ride! A small fond smile appears on xiao’s face from seeing your face light up being carried by your big brother
★☆﹒Xiao is willingly to go to the city just for you if you ever wanted to go to taste more food, get to know liyue more, or to meet with ganyu for any circumstances. He will be very super close to you in the city. He’s always catching up on your speed when you run around or whenever u see something cool, he’s right behind you on your fast feet.
★☆﹒If you ever get hurt from climbing up a tree, falling, the small things of being hurt, xiao will immediately go to you to check you’re not bleeding to bandage anything. But if you got hurt because you got sneaked attacked from sneaking off, his brotherly instincts hit to the max even more possible. He instantly teleports to you and defends you from whatever hurt you by instantly killing/hurting that being. Xiao’s attention is immediately on you and any tasks/missions he had is now forgotten, casted away from his mind.
Tumblr media
You knew you shouldn’t have sneaked off to go play in the flower field without anyone supervising you, but you didn’t want to disturb the conversations they were having chatting away. You’ll only be gone for a few minutes to make a quick flower crown for your brother and be back like nothing! That was when you didn’t notice of a nearby camp of hilichurls with an abyss mage on this peaceful field. A mitachurl was super nearby you and spotted you thinking you came to attack and cause trouble, the mitachurl prepared to attack at you. It ran towards you while you on the other hand, were peacefully humming a lullaby you heard from the people of liyue, you being in your world not hearing the mitachurl.
Xiao just finished killing a hilichurl with karma debt when his body suddenly intensified and felt something was super bad, his brotherly instinct kicked in hard for some odd reason. Xiao’s wondered did something happen with the other adepti with you that is scaring you?? No. He then had thoughts of something bad had happened and immediately teleported to you. He teleported in front of you from trying to run away from a mitachurl with now semi torn flowers in your hands. He immediately grabbed and ran out of the way from the mitachurl charging towards you. Xiao quickly got up on his feet to immediately finish off the mitachurl from charging to you.
You on the hand, were scared from being semi injured from the mitachurl hurting the right side of your body, more impacted from your right arm and shoulder. Xiao’s attention was immediately now towards you, quickly running towards asking if you’re okay and where the mitachurl has hurt you. “[Name]! Are you okay? Did the mitachurl hurt you anywhere?” His voice was filled with worry, his facial expression showed him worried, worried the mitachurl did hurt you somewhere. “My shoulder and arm hurts, it hurts to move big brother..” tears were in your eyes from the pain in your body and xiao was fighting back to show him panicking. “It’s okay it’s okay, I’m gonna gently try carrying you on the side your body doesn’t hurt okay? Bare with me please” Xiao slowly and gently trying his best to carry you in order to teleport you to be treated properly. Whining from xiao’s arms tightly holding you to be then teleported. Atleast now you know why you need the assistance of the adepti to accompany you anywhere, right now your big brother is worrying sick from being hurt and praying it’s not horrible. When you’re recovering you’re gonna receive a scolding from everyone, mainly more your brother, from sneaking off like that.

venti and xiao would be the best big brothers!!
venti would sing you to sleep whenever you seem to have trouble doing it yourself, and xiao would just loom over you /j
xiao would be so protective though i think
when their sibling can't sleep.
summary. how do venti and xiao comfort a sleepless little sibling?
trigger & content warnings. insomnia.
tropes, pairings, fic length, & other notes. comfort. venti & younger sibling!reader, xiao & younger sibling!reader. 0.5k words. they/them pronouns for reader.
author's thoughts. youre so right alyssa (are we on first name basis? idk, please tell me if not haha) they would be the best big brothers!!! i imagine that anemo boys in general are just good brothers..... i should write for kazuha. i love him and i dont talk about it enough HSKSGAJFJF
Tumblr media
what do venti and xiao do when their sibling can't sleep?
venti gives the best comfort tbh. oh, [name] can't sleep? he's there in an instant. no hesitation. they'll be tossing and turning and suddenly, the windborne bard is tapping at their window with a grin and a wave. archons know where he gets that information from (the thousand winds told him, but no-one needs to know that the chatty little wind wisps are his source! it's a trade secret!), so it seems like he just has some kind of sixth sense for when they can't sleep because he's always there when it happens. he'll gently lay their head in his lap, gingerly fidgeting with their hair if he's not playing his lyre that night in particular. sometimes he'll rub little patterns on the skin of their shoulder and upper arm; his calloused fingertips are oddly soothing. his voice is undoubtedly akin to that of a siren's. he is a bard, after all. his voice is his career.
of course, in this case, his voice is his tool to get his baby sibling to fall asleep.
i like to think venti would sing them a lullaby from old mondstadt, maybe one he learned from one of his friends. he might opt for a softer version of a folk song, or maybe a lullaby he picked up from a different nation entirely. who knows? whatever he settles on, he expects nothing in return.
he usually doesn't stay the whole night through, but when he does, it's because he himself is struggling mentally and needs the company just as much as they do.
ultimately, venti is free as the wind, a fleeting yet soothing touch of comfort to ease the one he loves into getting a good night's rest.
xiao definitely just... looms ominously in the corner. /lh
he's not like venti in that he just knows when they can't sleep—more often than not, they have to call out for him. he'll always, always appear without fail when it comes to them. he always encourages them to call his name if something is wrong. sometimes, however, he might check up on them randomly and find out that way. he's very protective, indeed, and often checks on them in the middle of the night at random times.
nevertheless, he finds out somehow.
xiao cannot offer many words. he just isn't very articulate when it comes to offering comfort. he can, however, offer to cuddle with them if they so desire (he is hesitant, though; xiao is very terrified of harming them. he never wants to hurt them in any way. he'd never forgive himself if he did).
if his presence alone is comforting enough, then he'll stalk around their room, likely settling at the foot of their bed or somewhere where he can see them and silently and effectively get rid of any potential threats that might appear.
it's very unlikely that someone would break in or that a monster would appear, but xiao is on edge nonetheless. he's protective. he would never let anything or anyone even get close to bringing them harm.
xiao is, unlike venti, the lingering presence that scares off anything that might be preventing the one he loves from getting a good night's rest.
they're both very good brothers, they just show it in different ways. <3
please consider reblogging, it helps me out quite a lot!

ur dad zhongli fics are so cute 😭😭 I’d love to see xiao in an older brother role
under a watchful eye
- in your time living with zhongli, you've met all the adepti, except for one; xiao. unbeknownst to you, he was never as far away as you thought.
Tumblr media
characters: xiao & reader a/n: thank you so much! they’re fun and pretty comforting to write, so I'm glad you guys enjoy them. this one is about how xiao meets the reader in this au. i have another fic about him as well which will hopefully be done soon. i put this in the same ‘canon’ setting where zhongli is a father figure, so xiao is still an adepti and all that. feel free to request again if you had something else in mind. warnings: descriptions of injury, grumpy xiao, the reader is implied to be in their mid/late teens, visionless reader.
Tumblr media
You’re no stranger to the rules of the wilderness, or in other words, the code of conduct for traversing any area outside of cities and settlements. Ambushes are common, even on the larger roads connecting Liyue with Mondstadt. Even so, they’re usually the result of a startled pack of monsters attacking, or planned by the Treasure Hoarders when specific goods are being transported. Generally, not a concern to your average traveler, so long as you’ve got your basic survival instinct in check. Even the Fatui don’t bother to harass lone travelers passing by.
However, it’s when you stray off the roads that those rules, or rather, tips, come in useful. You remember Madam Ping’s words as clear as day;
“Always be aware. Is the buzzing you hear from a bee, or is it closer to the whizzing of a cicin? Is the distant clanging from the nearby house, or is it a ruin guard closing in on you? Is the change in temperature normal for the area, or is it the first warning sign of Whopperflower?”
To her relief, you’ve always taken the words to heart, even if trouble somehow still seems to find you. Normally, you manage just fine, with a few scratches and a disapproving glance from Baizhu to show for it, but nothing more than that. At the same time, you normally travel with companions. This time around, you’re alone. You’re alone, and curiosity got the best of you when you accidentally stumbled into that clearing, in the hills and mountains behind the harbor. The old ruin hunter in front of you set off alarms at first, but within the past minute it hasn’t moved, nor made a sound, and the rust and moss covering it is a clear indicator that the machine is dead and gone. From what you know about the various Khaenri’ahn war machines wandering around, it should have reacted to your presence by now. Against your better judgment, you decide to step closer. Most of these machines are left to rot, or collected by academics, so it’s not often that you get to look at one.
Still, you’re not stupid. You approach the machine with caution, and give the area a good look before kneeling down to investigate. You were right; it’s been powered off for a while, and as you move one of the blades, you notice that it’s quite small.
“Right…it’s rare to see a small ruin hunter that still works these days” You mumble to yourself, wiping your thumb across the wing where the serial number should be. It takes some effort to get the dirt and moss off, and eventually you settle for using a small cloth from your pocket. Your eyes narrow to get a good look at the number, and you mumble to yourself.
“Fo-118…”
Your voice trails off; an odd whirring sound, quickly increasing in intensity, stops you dead in your tracks. It’s not coming from the ruin hunter you’re looking at, but from somewhere behind you, and as you lift up a hand, you see that it’s bathed in red light, partly interrupted by the shade your head provides. It begins to blink, and your reflexes kick in.
Within a second you lunge to the side and collide with a wall, feeling a sharp pain flash across your entire skull as your head hits the wall as well. You do your best to ignore it, curling up to protect your ears and face. The ground in front of you shakes, and a flurry of dirt and metal splinters rains down on you. The blast rings in your ears, painfully so, and you scramble into a sitting position as soon as the downpour of small debris stops.
You blink; the ruin hunter you were studying mere moments ago is blown to bits, and there’s a large dent in the ground in front of it. Precisely where you were sitting. A shiver runs down your spine. Your ears are still ringing, and your head is pounding, but as some of your senses return, so does the whirring sound. It draws your attention to the source, and panic finally takes hold of you.
attention to the source, and panic finally takes hold of you.
Somehow - and you’d be beating yourself over the head due to your own stupidity, if you weren’t in dire straits - you’d missed another ruin hunter, hidden in the bushes on the opposite side of the clearing. Well disguised, and probably only alerted when you first sat down to investigate. Once again, the target appears on your back, and you decide that your best option is to dodge it once again, as hiding behind a tree could be a death wish.
With bated breath, you turn around and wait for the machine to send another laser after you. It blinks, settling its target directly on your chest, and you count down in your head…
Three…Two…One…
The blast never comes. A flash of green comes barreling towards the machine, and it collapses on the ground from the seemingly fatal impact. It all happens too fast; your instincts take over, and you leap, dodging the nonexistent blast. With a thud, you land on the ground next to the rubble of the smaller ruin hunter.
Your eyes close for a brief moment, and upon realizing that you’re no longer in immediate danger, you try to calm your heart that’s frantically beating away in your chest. The adrenaline and fear are both still present, but they slowly begin to fizzle out, allowing you to take in your surroundings.
The attacking ruin grader lies on the ground, twitching; its eye moves quickly, and the runes around it switch on and off in an unstable pattern. The same unintelligible sound leaves it over and over again, and you figure that it’s an error code. You almost feel bad for it. Almost.
A spear is then jammed into the eye, and the machine stills completely.
Slowly, your gaze flickers to the owner of the weapon. A…relatively short man, with a pretty distinct appearance, face hidden by a mask. He yanks the spear out in one swift move, before turning to you. The mask is pulled off, and golden irises meet your own in a narrowed gaze. A sense of familiarity washes over you, though you’re not sure why… you’re certain that you’ve never seen the man before.
He seems to hesitate before taking a step towards you, and you feel your heartbeat pick up a bit again. You’re not entirely calm yet, and this man did just take down a ruin hunter in one move.
To your surprise, he seems to sense your fear. He stops, settling for staring at you as you push yourself up from the ground to sit. Despite being alert, you figure that he isn’t a danger to you at the moment, so you allow yourself to break eye contact. Instead, your gaze flickers to the mask that is now hanging at his side, and a lightbulb goes on in your head.
That’s a Yaksha mask.
The man in front of you is none other than Xiao, the adeptus that Zhongli and Madame Ping have mentioned on endless occasions, but never elaborated on. You figured that you’d never get to see him, much less speak to him, but now, here he is, right in front of you. The fear dissipates and is instead replaced by intrigue.
“You’re…Xiao, right?”
Seeing that you’ve let your guard down - and that you’re not bleeding to death - he lets out an exasperated sigh.
“Foolish human…” He mutters. His voice is raspier than you expected.
You don’t say a word; he seems annoyed, but if there’s one thing you’ve learned from regularly mingling with adepti, it’s that they’re difficult to read. Though some of them may look human, they’re far from it; you can’t really judge them, or their emotions, by human standards.
“...It’s nice to finally meet you?” You say the first thing that comes to mind, testing the waters. He sends you a sharp look in response and crosses his arms.
“Are you hurt?”
You shake your head in response. Too soon, though.; Xiao’s words seem to remind your body and brain of what just occurred, and the pain hits you all at once. You weren’t directly hit, but debris still lodged itself into your left arm in the aftermath of the blast. Your knees are scratched up, and bruises are forming in multiple places. Worst of all though, the adrenaline is no longer there to remedy the pounding in your head. You reach up a hand to touch the area.
It hurts; it hurts a lot.
“...Don’t lie to me. You’re injured.” Xiao mutters, voice softer than before, when he reaches you. He crouches down, eyes scanning your body as they narrow once more. He’s no doctor, but he can see the telltale signs of a head injury, on top of all the other things.
“Move your hand.” He commands, though the stern voice is a sharp contrast to the way he softly pushes down your hand. He looks at your head, but sighs, realizing it’s not much use. Concern laces his words as he speaks.
“...I need to take you to Bubu Pharmacy, but…you are too injured to be teleported, and as you don’t have a vision, the consequences could be greater. We’ll have to go by foot.” He concludes, before reaching out a hand to pull you up. You take it, slowly getting to your feet, yet again trying to ignore the pain.
Xiao looks into your eyes again.
“Can you walk?”
You nod, taking a step to test it. Wobbly, but not impossible. Xiao seems conflicted for a moment, wondering whether he should just carry you, but as you insist on walking by yourself he settles for trailing you, very closely.
It’s silent for a while. You figure that he’s not one for making friendly conversation, at least that’s what you’ve heard. Still, you have questions - and somehow they’re at the forefront of your mind, right next to the splitting headache.
“How’d you know I was in trouble?” You ask, voice slightly strained. He doesn’t answer.
“Were you just passing by?”
Still no luck.
“Did Madame Ping send you?”
He spares you a single glance - but nothing more.
“Was it Zhongli who sent you?”
Xiao sighs, and as he looks at you again, you wonder if the frown on his face is permanent. Or if you’re just extraordinarily annoying.
“Must you mortals ask so many questions?” He shoots back, though unlike the exasperated voice you were expecting, he just sounds worried.
“I mean it’s pretty convenient that you found me just as that thing was about to blast me to the depths of the chasm. I’m curious…do you adepti have some shared telepathic sixth sense? Or something?” You ask, trying to lighten the mood a bit. It earns you a scoff.
“The ‘sixth sense’ you refer to is commonly known as intuition or survival instinct, something most living beings should possess.” He answers, giving you a pointed glare at the last remark. You ignore it; He’s talking, and that’s what matters.
Xiao lets out a quiet groan when you don’t say anything.
“...If you must know…I follow you when you leave the harbor, if I don't have more pressing matters.” He explains, and though he doesn’t exactly seem flustered, his eyes don’t meet yours. You let out a small ‘Oh’ in response, and he hums.
A moment passes before you speak again.
“Wait…so you’ve been nearby this entire time?” You exclaim, but immediately regret it as pain shoots through your head from how loud your own voice is. Xiao looks at you as you wince, complaining under your breath. You take his silence as an answer.
“Well, I never saw you, so I thought you were cooped up in Juyeun Karst, avoiding everyone” You mumble, rubbing the bruise on your head. Xiao lets out an exasperated sigh.
“Foolish child, how would I protect your people from demons if I stayed in Juyeun Karst? They do not dare to cross that threshold.” He explains, looking at you as if you had asked about the color of a silk flower. A truly idiotic question, that is.
“...Right. Cloud Retainer did mention that you never visit, heh…”
Xiao looks at the sky, and you wonder just how badly he wants to roll his eyes at the moment. Yet, you don’t sense even an ounce of anger coming from him. You decide that it’s safe to continue pressing the matter.
“So did Zhongli ask you to be my personal bodyguard? Didn’t realize I was that important” You joke, amused at the thought, though Xiao nearly stops in his tracks, expression morphing into a slightly irked one. His response is immediate, voice as stern as it was before.
“Do not speak poorly of your own worth. There are people who care about you.” He commands, eyes nearly piercing through your skull. You blink, slightly shocked at his change in demeanor.
“...I was just kidding, I'm sorry…” Stumbling over your words as you explain, you bow your head for a moment. He shakes his head before looking at the road ahead of him.
“...The humor of mortals is beyond me. Do not joke about that again.” He grumbles and continues walking. You nod, mumbling a quiet ‘right’, and he merely nods his head in response. The two of you continue, an awkward silence filling the air between you. Xiao occasionally looks at you, assessing how you’re feeling, and you pretend to not see it.
He sighs again.
“...Zhongli did not ask me to follow you. Neither did Madame Ping. I did it on my own accord.” He suddenly speaks up, and you snap your head towards him. His gaze flicks away from yours.
“...Then why didn’t you show yourself? I mean, it sounds like you’ve been doing this for a while…” You ask, and he seems to consider whether he should reply or not.
His gaze flickers for a moment, before landing back on yours, and a frown settles on his face. His eyes, on the other hand…a look of solemn resentment fills them, and his mind is somewhere else for a moment. Somewhere else entirely.
“...There is a burden that only I must carry, though the consequences of it affect those around me. For other Adepti and Archons, the effect is laughable, while those with visions possess an increased resistance. Ordinary mortals suffer under it.” He explains, though the last sentence is spoken as if it were a dark omen. A pit of dread forms in your stomach from his chilling tone of voice. Ordinary mortal…that would be you.
Xiao doesn’t say anything, simply letting the words sink in. To his surprise, you don’t ask about the details of such an ailment; his explanation served as enough of a warning. Still, he’s curious - or rather, concerned - about your reaction to the truth. It takes you a minute, but you shrug it off. Any other time you might ask, or listen to that sense of dread…but the pain you’re in overpowers any semblance of fear you might have felt.
“...If it makes you feel better, the bruise on my head hurts a lot more than whatever you might be radiating” You mumble, sending him a reassuring smile. Or rather, your pained attempt at it. And for a second, you swear that you can see a smile tug at the corners of Xiao’s lips. It’s quickly replaced by an incredulous look, but you cherish that small flash of amusement from him.
“...You truly are a foolish child. Karmic debt is no joking matter.” He mumbles, though it’s unclear whether you were supposed to hear it or not. Either way, you don’t respond, and as the bridge to the harbor comes into view, you speed up a bit.
“Wait.” Xiao’s voice makes you stop in your tracks.
“...I cannot enter the city. I will take you to the bridge, and then you will ask a Millelith soldier to take you directly to Bubu Pharmacy. Understood?” He says, crossing his arms as he looks at you, that same stern look on his face again. You nod slowly.
“Good.”
A minute or so later, Xiao stops again to bid you farewell. He scans your body again, eyes lingering on your arm and head, before meeting your own.
“...Stay out of trouble.” He says, and opens his mouth to say something again, before quickly closing it. You nod, staying where you are with the hope that he’ll speak his mind…but he simply nods towards the bridge, before turning around and walking in the opposite direction. You huff in disappointment, but begin to make your way towards one of the soldiers stationed there. As much as you hate to admit it, you really do need to see Baizhu.
"...One more thing." Xiao’s voice makes you snap back around, so fast that you’re worried about toppling over. Thankfully, you don’t, though he doesn’t miss the uncertainty in your step. Your eyes meet his.
“If you ever require my help, call out my name. I’ll be there when you call.” He says, before disappearing into a flash of green.
You stare at the spot he was just standing in, mouth slightly agape. He’s gone like the wind. Even the grass he just stepped on remains unbent, swaying in the breeze as if he was never there.
Still, you smile, looking towards the mountain range in the distance.
“I will.”

for context, see this post.
in the original post that was on my old deleted blog (ophelium-flowers), it was implied that [name] held dormant but divine potential, piquing the interest of dottore, in case you weren’t aware or hadn’t seen the original.
to throw [name] off, zandik took on the identity of their older sibling/father figure xiao, who then proceeded to set fire to their abode, successfully making them think as if it was the real alatus was the one with the lighter.
it was never zandik’s intention to kill you in the first place. he only wanted you to think that alatus had grown ashamed and tired of you WHICH IS NOT TRUE BTW, so they only passed out from the lack of oxygen.
in conclusion, [name] didn’t die to the fire. dottore simply created the illusion that they did, when in reality, they’re most definitely alive, but obviously with some major changes i’m not sure the other adepti, especially xiao, will be able to take lightly.

Genshin Impact Self Aware – Your sadness
They miss you. For past week you have been login into the game only to do commissions and changing Resin into Condensed one (or quickly doing domains or Ley Lines if you already had 5 of them). They hoped that with the new regions of Fontaine you will be playing more, you will take them to get chests, do puzzles, find Oculi and enjoy the scenery like always. But no, you didn’t even unlocked all the new waypoints, only two or three, so they couldn’t help but wonder "Are you getting tired of them?"
They tried to be patient but the more time passed the more they were feeling worried. Till that one day you logged and they could hear you talking to them like sometimes you did before. “Finally we can go check those new places, right?” The team you were using lately was happy, but they couldn’t do anything that would make you aware that they are conscious about you and this ‘world’, so they had to contain their smiles after hearing your voice.
And yet, the more you were looking around with them and fight the enemies the more silent you become again, till you stopped moving them at some point. They wondered if you left for moment to bring food or something to drink but then they heard it. Your muffled sobs “What happened? Why are you crying? Did you get hurt? ” those questions were swarming in their heads and they couldn’t do anything. Through your sobs they could hear “I can’t stop thinking about it” What are you thinking about? If only they could do something for you, comfort you, tell that everything will be alright. But they can’t. No matter how much they love you. They can’t do anything for you.
You took them to a safe place, mumbling that you didn't feel like playing anymore and logged off. They are alone again, knowing that you’re sad.
Maybe it’s really time to try bring you here, where they will be able to protect you and make you smile every day.

I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS FOR REQUEST BUT I DON'T WANNA OVER BEAR YOU SRRYY
What about a teen gn reader who looks average (in term of strength) but could OBLITERATE a ruin guard in like,, one punch
How would the characters react to that???
Tumblr media
genshin + weak looking but strong!teen!reader
Tumblr media
❥Masterlist
Tags: slight fluff, mention of injuries
Including: Xiao, Dehya, Lyney
word count: 1,203
A/n: Heyyy, guess who's not dead! sorry I haven't been around for like a year or two things for me have gotten busy but things are slowing down for me right now so I'm gonna be focusing more on writing now! I hope you enjoy :D
Tumblr media
You had always heard stories of adventurers finding new civilizations, fight cool monsters, and traveling around the world. You were gonna be like one of those strong adventurers and be marked down in the history books. Though your training and honed your skills to your very limit yet your body stayed the same, growing at its normal pace. Sure you could punch through a brick wall but, you also looked as if you spent your days reading inside. But after a while you had come to accept that you would remain average size until you joined the adventures guild.
The adventure’s guild always had interesting commissions, from the mundane to the deadly. You joined looking forward to getting super hard missions where you could explore a abandoned temple and fight the spirt that lives there! Or a commission about a missing person who has been kiddnap by dozens of treasure hoarder and you have to fight your way through them! As Katherine hands you your first commission you read the page telling you to deliver mint to some guy.
You look up at kathrine with a “are you joking” face. She only smiles at you and asks if you have any questions. You insist to kathrine that you are a strong individual and you can handle your own. She shakes her head saying that this is the best commission for your skill level. You went back and fourth with Kathrine about the commission before she gave up and gave you some hillcurl camp to clean up on the west side. Snatching the commission out her hand you rush off to complete it.
It wasn't the intense adventure you hoped for but it was better than nothing. So you head out to the camp and when you get there you spot three hillchurls, easy enough. When you finish off
the last hillchurl you heard the sound of gears churning behind you.
“WATCH OUT!” a mystery voice calls out. Quickly turning around you are faced 13 feet tall ruin guard. It lifts up its giant geared hand attempting to slam it down on you, you dodge out of the way by jumping back. This is the first time you've ever encountered a ruin guard and there was something you wanted to try with it.
Throwing your weapon to the side you take a running start at the ruin guard. You can hear the stranger yell at you to get back when you leap into the air lifting your fist up pull it down right on the machine’s head. It flies back into a rock wall 12 feet away from you. Landing on your feet you watch as the ruins guard light flickers for a second then goes dark. Turning to the mystery person you are met with a look of…
Xiao: Shocked but doesn't care that much
Tumblr media
Xiao was patrolling the area around Yaodie Valley when he came across you fighting hillchurls. You had an adventurers guild uniform on but you looked far too weak to be fighting such monster, and at such a young age. But you looked to be holding yourself well so he didn't bother you. Until he saw out of the corner of his eye an old ruin guard started to shuffle and activate.
He yelled at you warning about it but to his surprise, you dropped your weapon and took off running towards it. He was about to intervene when you sent the ruin guard flying into a wall. He stood there for a second spear still out and in his fighting stance but, confused as hell. How did such a weak-looking child punch that machine like it was a stuffed animal.
“Uh, Mr. Adeptus?” You said trying to get the man's attention. “are you okay?” Snapping out of his trance he circles around you checking for wounds, none were found except for some red on the fist. And without any word he disappears.
Dehya: Worried but Amazed
Tumblr media
While traveling to meet her newest client she stumbles on you collecting stuff off the ground while a ruin guard towers over you. You looked no older than 18 and even tho you had a weapon didnt look like you could fight. She shouts a you watch out and unsheft her claymore. As she is running towards you she sees you turn around send the metal heap flying into a stone wall with a singular punch. Stopping her in her track Dehya looks at the scene before her with her mouth agape.
“Hey kid!” she yells at you. “Are you okay?!” She began checking your body for injuries. That was quite a punch but she needed to check that you didnt break anything from that.
“If i move your fingers like this do they hurt?!” She asked while bending your fingers slightly upwards.
“No ma’ma,” you resond
“I've just never seen someone knock out a ruin guard with one punch! How did you even do that without break your hand?”
“I drink a lot of milk.”
Lyney: Excitement
Tumblr media
Today was a day Lyney had all to him self, much to his dismay. Lynette was off on a solo mission and Freminet teaching some of their siblings how to dive. Lyney would have joined but those lessons were too slow paced for him and he'd end up getting board and leaving the group behind.
So now he was outside of the city walls looking for something that could entertain him. When he saw the slashing of a weapon out the corner of his eye and turned to see a teenager fighting a couple hillchurls. They looked skilled enough to take on a couple monsters but, defiantly not strong physically.
He was about to head out and look for something more interesting when he heard the gears of a ruin guard turn. He spun around to see you face to face with one of these machines. He saw you jump back nearly missing the hand crushing coming down on you. As he got out his bow to shoot the thing down he stopped himself as he saw you run and jump off a rock and landing a punch on top of its head sending it flying backward.
You turned to face him and his bow was still in his hand with a shit eating grin on his face.
"My archons that was amazing!" He exclaimed while throwing his hands up and trotted right up too you. "How did you manage to do that?" He was lifting your arms up and down like he was trying to find something to tell him how you knock the guard out in one punch. "Or is it just raw strength... Punch me."
"What?" He said that as if it was just a normal request.
"Punch me right here in the stomach, I wanna see something."
"Sir I just knocked out a whole monster and now you want me to punch you?"
"Yes, I don't know what's so hard to understand. you can take down an ancient machine with one punch but you look so... normal!" Rude. "I don't mean that in a bad way but I want to see how this is possible." for the rest of the day he spent it with you testing out your strength on different things. He should have more days to himself if it's gonna be like this one!

Requests are now open again :D

Platonic yandere: Childe, Scaramouche, Aether and Xiao
With an innocent fem! Reader.
[Warnings: none,]
Tumblr media
Childe
Childe most likely met you out on a mission. Maybe you were just skipping around Liyue Harbor or collecting flowers; either way, he would be drawn to your innocent and air-headed energy. You would likely remind him of one of his siblings, which would lead to him accompanying you, as your naïve nature would be a bit concerning. Naturally, he would take on the role of acting as your protector. He would definitely treat you like a little sibling, that's for sure—waffling on about his accomplishments and generally acting like a cool older brother.
Expect piggyback rides and gifts. Oh, you made him a flower crown? He's keeping it forever. Scraped your knee running around? He's fussing over it. Your innocent nature would also make things easier for him, and just like with Teucer, he'll most likely keep his Fatui affiliations secret. All you need to know is that he's always there for you.
Over time, he will progressively become more overbearing, eyeing the people around you with suspicion, as he believes you're too naïve to figure out when someone has ill intentions—and he would like to keep it that way. In all honesty, your innocence is something that he feels must be protected, no matter the cost.
Tumblr media
Scaramouche
Scaramouche probably met you during one of his exploits in Inazuma. At first, your presence was nothing but a nuisance. You might have approached him with innocent questions, curious about who he was-questions he found irritating, especially when he felt the hollow spot where his heart should have been shiver slightly, a reminder of a certain child whenever he looked at you.
Scaramouche would do his best to keep his distance, acting cold and often laughing to himself at your naïve, innocent nature. But something in him itched when he saw you wandering around, your wide eyes taking in everything with such unguarded curiosity. He couldn’t stand it. Yet, somehow, he still found himself scoffing as he accepted the rather shabby flower you handed him.
That split second of vulnerability would be his downfall. He began to let you stay by his side more often, responding to your upbeat questions with little more than grunts or short answers. But he would be lying if he said he hadn’t grown used to your presence. In fact, he’d send a death glare to anyone or anything that dared interrupt the moments you shared.
Over time, an uncharacteristically softer gaze took over his expression whenever he looked at you. Sometimes, he’d even let you cling to his arm or seek shelter under his hat when it started to rain. Your innocence was... refreshing. And he’d protect it fiercely. The filth of the cruel world wouldn’t taint it...not on his watch.
Tumblr media
Aether
Aether most likely came across you on his travels, helping you out with something and being drawn in by your innocent nature. He would walk alongside you as you innocently waffled on about what you had done that day. He would take his time telling you about all the things he had done on his travels, taking pride in how your face would light up in awe when he recounted some of his fights and the things he had seen. By all accounts, he would be an amazing hero in your eyes.
But Aether would find himself concerned at how careless and naïve you were, making him feel on edge and constantly glancing your way. So he took it upon himself to be your bodyguard of sorts, walking around the city with you. He would always try to help you with anything and everything, no matter how small. In a way, he missed having someone to take care of...that being said, he won't take no for an answer.
Looking for a few herbs? Don’t worry, he’ll fetch them for you! Can’t reach something? He's already behind you, grabbing it. And so on and so forth. The traveler really does mean well, so it would be rather rude of you to decline, wouldn’t it? And it's not like you have much choice in accepting his help, either way.
Tumblr media
Xiao
Xiao would be cautious at first around you. Maybe he rescued you from some monsters you came across near the inn. He would tell you to be careful and insist you call his name if something happens.
He would be rather distant but not outright cold when it came to you. He would feel a little off-put by your innocent and naïve nature, making you seem too fragile to be around him. But his worries would get the better of him as he began silently tailing you when you ran off alone at times. You just seemed so... brittle to him. Even though he was afraid of you constantly being near him, it didn’t feel right to leave you on your own, and so he allowed himself to lower his walls just a bit.
He would let you put flower crowns on his head, and although not engaging much, he wouldn’t push you away, finding your presence rather soothing. This would lead to him being even more of a silent shadow, always extra cautious of any threats.
He’s always there, even if you don’t realize it...so be careful.

The Golden Child Part IV
SAGAU & Impostor AU where the reader is the child of the actual creator.
Warnings: Blood, crying blood, mention of abduction and terrorism.
If you haven't read part 3 yet, you can find it here.
Please understand that I won't add new people to the taglist as it has become way too large now. I'm sorry if this causes any inconvenience.
Tumblr media
The acting Grand Sage was having a very, very busy week.
With his resignation coming soon, he wanted to finish every document that needed his immediate attention; somehow, his shift was never enough to finish everything on time.
Piles of documents that never seemed to end. Countless people needed his help that went from the most mundane things to twisted crimes that needed the immediate intervention from the Matra. In any case, once he started his working hours, there was no time to waste.
So, that was why the presence of the man in front of him managed to irk him greatly. There was enough time to be a nuisance at home, why did Kaveh feel the need to come bother him at work?
"But I'm telling you!" The blonde exclaimed. "There's definitely something weird about it!"
He sighed. "Well then, did it look like that child was being held against their will?"
"Well, no, but—"
"Then there's nothing I can do. The most I can offer is to send a Matra to investigate and/or interrogate that Lord. For all you know, they could simply be an Eremite's child."
Kaveh wanted to tell him that no, that wasn't the case, but in reality he didn't know that. There was just a feeling, a strange sensation that made him think that there must be something more about them. Kidnapped, an Eremite's child, the illegitimate Lord's child... No option sat well with him.
If Alhaitham saw that child, would he share Kaveh's thoughts?
Fuck it. If Alhaitham didn't want to help him, then he would investigate this matter himself.
Just as he was about to curse his roommate and storm away, the grand doors opened with a loud bang. Before seeing who intruded like that, they first heard the loud gasps and whispers of the scholars outside his office.
"Alhaitham!" The voice of a particular forest watcher resonated around the room. Both him and Kaveh were taken aback at the sight of the newcomers. They were bloody, beaten up, with bandages loosely covering certain areas of their bodies as if they only did it to stop the bleeding and not for properly treating the wounds. Collei was supporting both her weight and Tighnari's, as she was helping him stand and walk. "We need your help!"
The fact that Tighnari didn't refer to him as 'acting Grand Sage' denoted alarming urgency. He quickly rose from his seat and called for immediate medical help. Kaveh ran to his friend's side, gently removing him from Collei and letting him use his own body as support, earning a thankful glance from the girl. The wounds in his body started to bleed again, soaking the bandages and some of Kaveh's clothes in the process.
"What happened to you?!" The blonde asked in a panic.
Collei was still taking deep breaths, exhausted for having to carry her mentor all the way to Sumeru City. "The Ville! We were attacked!"
Alhaitham opened his eyes all the way thanks to his surprise. How come the Gandharva Ville had been attacked and he was only finding out now? By the look of the injuries, he guessed it must've happened yesterday.
"Wow, calm down! Breathe first." Kaveh said. "Explain what happened."
As the medic of the Akademiya arrived and started to treat Tighnari, Collei composed herself and started to explain everything from the beginning.
She told them about the child in the forest that was attacked by Eremites, with their family presumably dead by the Eremite's hands. How Tighnari heard them and immediately appeared to help the kid, safely escorting them to the Gandharva Ville so they could decide what to do next. She also explained how those mercenaries came back for revenge, attacking their Ville and abducting the child once every fighter was down.
Her words shocked the blonde. He looked at his roommate, half in disbelief that his own suspicions turned out to be true.
"You say they took them? Grabbed them and disappeared into the forest?"
"Yes, yes... I was knocked out and they managed to get to them...!" Collei cried. "You have to do something! Those Eremites killed their family and now have kidnapped them!"
The grand doors opened once again, and Tighnari and Kaveh both breathed a sigh of relief at the figure standing in the doorway.
The general Mahamatra had arrived.
"I heard there was a commotion here." Cyno spoke. Tighnari greeted him by saying his name, which made the newcomer turn his attention to him. When he laid his eyes upon the wounded fox hybrid and saw how beaten up he was, his blood boiled with deep rage. "What happened?"
Sensing danger from the short man, Alhaitham quickly composed himself and started to explain the situation. This didn't seem to help Cyno calm down. In fact, every word he spoke only served to fuel his anger.
"We must do something then. That child must be in danger." The general said. "We must rescue them. I'll also arrange for the other matras to track down and hunt those Eremites that raided the Ville."
Tighnari nodded. "Let's go."
"YOU won't go. The 'we' I was talking about is composed of Alhaitham, the Matra and I."
"What?!" Kaveh, Tighnari and Collei cried in unison.
"Regarding the seriousness of the situation, it's only natural that this matter is solved within members of the Matra and Akademiya." Alhaitham explained. "It could be extended to inhabitants of the Gandharva Ville, but the only thing they need now is a good doctor and a lot of rest."
"No way!" Tighnari shouted. "I have to get them back! I have to, I have to..."
His voice faded into intelligible mumbles, repeating again and again the same words. This was the first time Cyno had seen his best friend like this. What could have happened to make him act this way? Those damned Eremites... He would make sure they paid for what they've done.
Alhaitham and the grand general were quick to exit the office and start gathering people to accompany them to Alcazarzaray.
This matter had to be settled right now.
One of the people present also made his way to the exit, only that she did in the complete opposite way.
.
You were feeling very, very warm.
It was as if a giant marshmallow was enveloping you, gently offering a comfortable space to rest while you dozed off with a sense of security.
Suddenly, hand rested on your head, carefully caressing your hair in a loving manner. You opened your eyes, only to find a silhouette cradling you and watching you with hearts on their eyes.
"Keep sleeping, stardust." A soothing voice came out of their lips. "Once you wake, I won't get to hold you like this again."
The sadness in their tone made your heart ache. You gently raised your hand and rested it on their cheek, smiling when they wore a surprised expression.
"Tata..." You whispered. "Papa said they took you..."
You tried to keep smiling, you were seeing your parent again! But the thought of everything that happened only fueled the pain in your chest, making you let a sob out before starting to fully crying.
Your parent stopped the caressing to instead hug you tightly. Whispered sweet words in your ear. "You're too young for everything's that happening. How I wish I could still be hugging you in reality, and not just in this dream."
So this was a dream. Well, it didn't matter. This was the place your parent was, where you could touch them once again.
"Why did they do it...?" You could only ask between sobs.
You could hear your tata let a sigh. Both them and your father had tried to explain everything to you, at least the best they could to a little child. But maybe all you needed right now was the truth.
"I'm the one who created this world." They spoke. With a wave of their hand, something akin to stardust was born from it. It made you giggle a little. "And as such, I also wanted to live here as a mortal like everyone. Like your father, like you."
You looked into their eyes and saw all the love they had for you.
"I descended in a new body, with no powers and no memory. But the mortals and gods... Over time, they became obsessed with the idea of me. Of a being of pure love, power, and divinity. Being in a mortal body, I possessed none of that, so it was only natural that they thought I was an impostor trying to deceive them."
With each word, their tone became more and more solemn. "They... killed my body, so I now return to be a deity unapproachable by any of them. Any, except for you."
They kissed your nose gently.
"You are my child, my flesh and blood, and though I had a mortal body when you were conceived, my divinity still flows in you."
Their fingers brushed the cut in your arm, the one you got when you protected your father back in the Chasm. You averted your eyes from it. It only served to remind you what you lost that day.
"I want nothing more than destroy this world and the people in it for everything they've done to their own creator. But..."
Strangely enough, those words filled with hatred did not worry you in the slightest. Was it because it was your parent who said them? "But...?" You trailed on.
"But you and him still live here. And I do not wish for you both to feel anything remotely close to what I've experienced."
The hug enveloping you became a little tighter, as if your tata was trying to heal all their pain by embracing you.
It was a silent promise. One that said that as long as you both were alive, then the world would remain untouched.
"I miss you." You whispered, hiding your face in their chest.
"I miss you too, stardust. I hope you both live your life to the fullest before finally being reunited again. I love you."
You felt a warm and gentle kiss on your forehead and raised your head to see your parent one last time only to find a pillow resting above you, right where your tata had been. You let a sad sigh at the sight of an unknown bedroom and strange bed.
So, it really was just a dream. But it felt so real... you could still feel the tenderness of their touch and the tingle their lips left on your skin. How you missed your family...
Looking at the window in front of the bed, you noticed that the sun was already starting to set. It seemed that you fell asleep crying in your aunt's arms, how embarrassing. But to sleep all day? It really showed how your situation was exhausting your little body.
There was a small table at your right side with a plate of food on it. There was a note attached to it, with your name written on the upside. You took it and tried to read it, but the handwriting was very different from your parent's. You recognized some letters, but the words were pretty confusing.
Still, even if you couldn't read it, it left a warm feeling in your chest knowing that Dori cared enough to leave you some food and a little note for the moment you woke up.
With the piece of paper in your hand, you rushed to your backpack and took the stuffed animal from the inside, putting both items on the bed. They were your treasures now.
If only you had something from your father as well...
Opting to occupy your mind to not get sad, you tried to approach the table with the snack before a loud bang resonated around the entire palace. It seemed that someone was knocking on the front door, really hard.
As you tried to peek outside the room to see what was going on, you were surprised when Dori quickly came in and pushed you inside, closing the door behind her.
"Auntie? What's happening?" You asked with a slight tremble on your voice. Had trouble come again? Could those people from Liyue have finally found you?
"Ah, that? It's nothing. Probably the Matra trying to arrest me again for 'alleged' scams." She laugh, clearly unbothered by the whole situation. "What do you have there?"
You looked where she was pointing, right at your stuffed animal. "Oh! That's my favorite plush. Tata made it for me for my last birthday."
She smiled and picked it up in her hands. "Look at this cute thing! Handmade goods tend to sell pretty well."
Dori put the plush back where it was and turned to face you.
"Well, I see that you still haven't eaten. What do you say we have dinner together? The chef prepares the best dishes in all Teyvat!"
You giggled. "Okay!"
"Sweet! Then we—"
She stopped in the middle of the sentence as the sound of the main doors opening filled the mansion. This set her right on edge, as the butler had strict orders to not open the door to anybody, not even for the Matra or Grand Sage himself. She pressed herself to the door of the room to hear what was happening in the main hall.
"Aunt Dori?" You were confused by the sudden change of demeanor. You grabbed the stuffed animal and held it to your chest, trying to get some sense of comfort.
"Shh." She motioned for you to remain silent, so you did. Voices could be heard, and even the distressed wails of the butler resonated around the halls. Whatever was happening, it was undoubtedly bad.
Dori looked at you, which made you startle a little. "Did something happen back with the Eremites?" She asked.
"Um, well..." You trailed off, nervous. "Back in the forest, a boy from a place called Gandharva Ville found me first. He brought me back with him, and those mercenaries had to attack the city because of that misunderstanding."
She pushed her head back as the voices got louder, undoubtedly investigating the mansion in the search of something. Someone.
"Fuck, those idiots didn't even bother to tell me anything. No wonder even the Grand Sage is here." The woman mumbled under her breath. She sighed and looked back at you. "Change of plans. We have to hide, or else I'll be imprisoned for terrorism and kidnapping. Those are things I don't plan to add to my record. "
Oh no, was this your fault? Was now your aunt in trouble because you didn't go with the Eremites right away? First, the nice people in the Ville were attacked, and now Dori was going to be blamed for it.
"Quick! Let's go through the secret passage!"
She locked the door behind her and rushed to the bed, pushing it to separate the furniture from the wall. You quickly gathered the plush and the letter and put them in the backpack before helping Dori move the bed. There was a different color right where the headboard rested, and the merchant wasted no time in tearing the wallpaper to reveal a small door beneath.
The Matra was getting closer, so Dori was in a hurry to get you both out of the house. She motioned for you to go first, so you crossed the small passage while she stayed behind temporarily to move back the bed to where it was.
You found yourself back at the gardens, just at the back of the manor away from the people that were surrounding the perimeter. Nobody seemed to have spotted you yet, so you waited for Dori to crawl from the secret passage before running away.
"Stay low. These guys are the real deal here." She whispered before taking your hand in hers and guiding you through the less visible parts of the lot.
You were almost at the entrance of the forest when a member of the Matra spotted you two and quickly gave the signal to his associates.
"There! They're trying to escape using the southern exit!"
It wasn't long before the rest of the Matra started to mobilize in your direction. Dori opted to stop hiding and run as fast as you could, as a last attempt to lose the officials.
You almost managed to reach the edge of the forest when the ground rose in front of you, forming a pillar made of dirt and stones that blocked the path ahead.
"Stop! Lord Sangemah Bay, you are under arrest!"
Turning around, a member of the Matra with a Geo vision was the culprit of your dead end. He was concentrating on maintaining the pillar as the General Mahamatra made his way towards you. Dori put you behind her, which didn't really help to cover you as your heights were not so far away.
"Lord Sangemah Bay." Greeted Cyno, though his voice was filled with nothing but disdain. "I knew you were a scammer, but I'd have never thought of you a terrorist. Have anything to say about this?"
She furrowed her brows but otherwise remained silent. So, he instead looked at you.
"So this is the kid that made you even attack Gandharva Ville to capture. Who is this? Why are you keeping them?"
You wanted to answer him, but the hold Dori had on your hand suddenly felt tighter as if she was silently telling you to keep quiet. Cyno sighed, knowing that he would not get anything out of the pair.
"I see how it is. You both will have to come with the Matra then."
The breeze picked up strongly.
A powerful burst of wind almost knocked Cyno off his feet; he even had to summon his polearm and nail it to the ground to remain in his place. Dirt and leaves started floating from everywhere, and you had to cover your eyes to avoid hurting them.
Only when everything calmed down you ventured to open them once again. You were now facing the back of a small man, with black and green hair and light green tattoos in the visible skin in his arms.
You had a very, very bad feeling about this guy; for the clothing he bore told everyone present that he was foreign to their nation.
"I'm afraid I can't allow to take this child with you."
The stranged summoned his own weapon; a jade colored polearm materialized in his hand as he took a more defensive stance.
"I know you." Cyno spoke. He regained his balance and also held his spear in his hands. "Liyue seems to be pretty far away from here, don't you think?"
Liyue.
This man was here to take you back. Because you were your parent's child, wasn't it? They wanted the child born from the divinity they were obsessed with.
Oh no, no, no, no...
You took one step backward but instantly froze when the boy turned his head to look at you the moment your foot touched the ground. His golden eyes bore right into yours, as if he was nothing more than a predator waiting for the best chance to strike.
However, he promptly returned his attention to the general when he saw that you were no longer moving.
"Heed my words, for this is the only warning I'll offer, mortal. Forget everything about this child, for they are now under the eternal custody of Liyue and the Geo Archon."
Cyno frowned. He still didn't understand the situation that well, but something about you was so special that even the Rex Lapis himself was sending his own acolytes to fetch them. Now, the attack on the Ville made more sense.
He didn't know who you could possibly be, but from the looks of it, you were terrified at the sight of the adeptus. Was this another kidnapping? For a god to step so low...
If anything, he only knew that you didn't want to go with him. So, you should stay here. Right where the Matra could protect you.
He took one step in the adeptus' direction, but the same strong wind from before returned and threatened to send him flying. He could only discern a green stream quickly making his way to where you were standing before vanishing, with the wind closely behind.
When he was able to get the dirt out of his eyes, only the sight of his fellow matra remained. Xiao was gone; you were too. He didn't see the Lord either, but he stopped paying them attention early on. Maybe they took this chance to escape the Matra and avoid any questioning.
His coworkers were quick to offer a hand; two of them helped him stand while the rest immediately started a search party for both Dori and the missing child.
Liyue, huh?
He had to report this to the acting Grand Sage.
There is no justice in letting a handful of people have his way with a kid. He would rescue them, even if he had to cross the whole land to get there.
.
"Isn't the weather beautiful today?"
The Fatui soldier didn't voice her answer, only nodded to maintain her silence. She had her head hanging low, for she was paying respect to the man in front of her.
You had to be always careful when in the presence of Dottore, after all.
"A little bird told me something funny today." His deep tone made chills run down her spine. His silhouette in front of the window gave an ominous feeling, the weather displaying a colorful battle of blue, purple, and yellow thanks to the storm outside. "It appears that the Creator themself descended a few years ago!"
"H-huh?!" She could not help the gasp of surprise that left her mouth but quickly returned to her position of submission when the mad man turned to see her.
Instead of getting angry, he smiled creepily. "Just as you hear. Our Divine Grace finally returned to this world, only that they did in a mortal body. That impostor that every soul on Teyvat made their goal to catch? It turned out to be the real and mighty Overlord!"
The Fatui raised her head in disbelief, watching him as he laughed like a maniac.
"But Liyue was the lucky winner; they managed to grab them and display their headless body for every habitant to see!" He took one step closer to the glass, smiling every time lightning illuminated the scenery. "It's just now that the other nations are finding this out... Inazuma might've been the first, as the only thing covering the skies are the mournful thunder and lightning from the lady that holds their power. Ah, she truly must feel like her heart is being ripped out at these news!"
As if agreeing with him, the sky roared a few times.
"She can grieve all she wants. Morax could've been the executioner, but the rest of them also raised their weapons and didn't hesitate to hurt the Divine One even when they claimed innocence asked for mercy."
She didn't know what to say. Was this true? Their almighty god, their benevolent and loving one... Had already descended and was killed because people simply didn't believe it?
"This is going to be fun." Dottore hummed. "I almost can't wait for when the other archons discover what transpired. Will they unleash their fury and sorrow upon Liyue? Hehe, I sure hope this storm marks the beginning of the end."
He turned around and started to exit the room, but not before giving the soldier under him his last command.
"Wait for the next ship to Snezhnaya to deliver a letter. Inform the Tsaritsa that even though her efforts to reach our Divine One to aid them were hindered by the other archons, this time we can all protect the most precious gift they've left for us."
She looked at him quizzically but made no comment to refuse him.
"That's right." He laughed. "We'll take care of them while the rest of the world crumbles and destroys itself..."

Yandere genshin ideas:
Yandere traveller and abyss twin x fallen god reader, the reader tried to help them escape teyvat and was punished for it, getting striped of their god status and going through an unimaginable amount of pain. Both lumine and aether feel heavily indebted to the reader and strive to protect them. The traveller wanting to stay by their side all the time and the abyss twin wanting to imprison the reader in the abyss.
Yandere fatui harbingers x eternal reincarnating reader, reader was a resident of kheanri'ah and was cursed with eternal reincarnation. Reader has lived enough lives that they have met all of the fatui harbingers and they become obsessed with the reader but the reader kills themselves consistently to escape them.
Yandere Columbina who breaks out of you phone by using your dreams to drive you insane enough to make a ritual to the real world so she could keep you eternally.
Yandere cyno, al haithem, tighnari, collei, dehya, collei, and kaveh, and platonic nahida x reader from mondstadt who came to study and secretly has the power to see the future in their dreams and does everything in their power to prevent bad things from happening. Cyno being the first to find out about readers powers and telling them he'll keep your secret if you tell him where future crimes will take place, reader accidentally confessing it to tighnari and collei when they were very sick, al haithem spying on reader and finding out with kaveh overhearing it. Dehya finding out by default, and nahida half decided that your powers are too valuable and half wanting to keep you in sumeru traps you in the akademia.
Yandere inazuman characters + platonic Ayaka and ayato x ayato cousin reader. Readers father was the younger child of the kamisato clan and did not getting chosen to be the head, when ayato's father died your father tried to take over but was stopped, so he sent you to mess with ayato. But instead of that you saw this as a great situation to gain a powerful ally, so you gave him good advice and taught him how to run the kamisato clan. Later in the future you and ayato do not get along personality wise but he is very platonic yandere for you and stops all you attempts to move out of inazuma and start business in liyue. kazuha becoming yandere when you help him escape inazuma, gorou and kokomi turning when you trick some tenryou soldiers, itto falling when you smack him with a fan for being an idiot, heizou becoming yandere when he sees how smart you are, yae Miko falling when you turn one of her tricks against her and ei turning simply because your good at making Dango.
Yandere yakshas x isekaid bird reader. The reader is from another world where genshin doesn't exist and gets isekaid and wakes up as a bird. The reader trains and eventually gets blessed by morax who gives the reader a human form and invites them to the yaksha. You quickly become close to them and trust them alot, when they fall victim to the gods curses they all fight each other to get you eventually wiping each other out, in the future Xiao is extremely overprotective of you because your the only one he was left.
Yandere venti x childhood friend bird reader(sorry about the double birds I just really like them) when venti was just a wind spirit travelling with the nameless bard they found an injured bird and nursed it back to health, little did the nameless bard know the bird he saved was actually an extinct but very powerful breed of bird, reader and venti both being wind based beings are able to communicate with each other and agreed to become friends. Later when the nameless bard died and venti became on archon he granted reader a human form and you protected mondstadt. When durin came into the picture you got pierced with dragon claws nine times and fell into the ice of dragonspine, spending 500 years under ice until you wake up again. When you wake you notice how much mondstadt has changed, meanwhile venti is getting news about you from the wind and freaking out. Before you know it your trapped in stormterrors lare where venti refuses to let you leave.
This is all I've got for now, I hope you enjoyed these ideas and feel free to add too or use any of these ideas.

Can you do a Genshin Impact story where Childe invited Lyney to show magic tricks to Teucer? Teucer meets Scaramouche, Arlechinno, Lyney, Lynette, Freminet, then invites them to a game of hockey. Because Scaramouche is there, Nahida and Raiden Shogun try to join. It's with Childe's family and the others.
Or if you don't know anything about hockey, what if Wanderer, Venti, Kazuha, Heizou, and Xiao played a board game where they play as the countries of Teyvet.
The Game of Teyvat
Summary: In a lighthearted evening at Mondstadt's tavern, Traveler and their friends—Wanderer, Venti, Kazuha, Heizou, and Xiao—gather around a board game simulating the nations of Teyvet. Each player takes control of a region, vying for territories and resources while forming alliances and plotting betrayals. As strategies unfold, personalities clash in friendly competition, and camaraderie grows in the humorous rivalry.

The quiet hum of Mondstadt’s breeze swept through the open window of the tavern, carrying with it the scent of fresh grass and distant pines. A peculiar scene unfolded within: Wanderer, Venti, Kazuha, Heizou, Xiao, and the Traveler were seated around a low wooden table, stacks of cards, dice, and colorful tokens scattered about in what appeared to be a strategic battle of wits.
"I still don’t understand," Kazuha mused, looking over the board, "how exactly are we supposed to play as the countries of Teyvet? It’s... fascinating, but it’s also a bit complex."
Wanderer, who had been eyeing the pieces suspiciously, grumbled. "Are we really doing this? Playing as the countries? This feels ridiculous."
Venti chuckled, leaning back in his chair with a lazy grin. "Oh, come on, Wanderer! It’s just a little fun! Besides, you get to rule over all of Teyvet! What’s not to like?"
Xiao, seated across from him, said nothing. His arms were crossed tightly, and his expression was unreadable, but the subtle twitch of his fingers betrayed his slight interest.
Heizou, always one to embrace the unusual, leaned forward with a grin. "What’s the matter, Wanderer? Afraid you might lose?"
The Wanderer narrowed his eyes. "You know I don’t lose."
Traveler leaned in, grinning. "Let’s just start the game and see how it goes. It’ll be fun."
Wanderer snorted but said no more. The game in question was a hand-crafted board game based on the various regions of Teyvet, with each player taking control of one of the nations. The goal? To strategically conquer territories, gather resources, and outsmart the other players. It was a game of strategy and diplomacy, with the occasional surprise of a random event card shaking things up.
The board itself was a beautifully detailed map of Teyvet, each nation represented by a brightly colored piece. Venti had, unsurprisingly, claimed Mondstadt. Kazuha took Inazuma, his home nation, with a serene but determined expression. Heizou chose Sumeru, his playful nature fitting the rich intellectual landscape. Xiao had Liyue, always silent and mysterious, while Wanderer took Fontaine, an outsider to most but always intrigued by the notion of law and order. And of course, you—the Traveler—had to represent the entirety of Teyvet, which, to your amusement, meant controlling all the countries in a way, albeit with a heavier burden.
Heizou clapped his hands to begin the game. "Let the conquest of Teyvet begin!"
Turn 1
Wanderer immediately rolled the dice, frowning as it landed on a 2. "A 2? That’s the worst possible start."
"Would you like to trade your luck with me?" Venti teased, a spark of mischief in his eyes. "I could give you a better fortune. I’m rather good at guiding winds, after all."
Wanderer shot him a withering look. "I’m fine."
Kazuha, rolling his dice, looked up at the others. "This game might be more like life than we expect. There’s a delicate balance between taking risks and staying cautious."
Heizou leaned back in his chair, placing a hand on his chin. "Indeed. It’s all about finding the right balance of resources. And the alliances we form—or break—could make or break us."
The Traveler smiled, casually sliding a piece forward on the board, managing to claim the first territory of Sumeru. "Looks like I’m off to a good start."
The others groaned. You were known for your strategic mind, and it was clear you weren’t wasting any time.
Venti was next. "I’ll claim Windrise, of course!" he said, flicking his hand dramatically. "I mean, who else could possibly lay claim to such a beautiful place?"
Xiao barely glanced at the board, but his dice roll was precise. "Liyue is mine," he said quietly, though there was an edge of determination in his voice. "No one else has the strength to protect it like I do."
Turn 2
The game progressed, with each player expanding their territories, occasionally negotiating trade deals or forming brief alliances.
Venti and Kazuha were forming an unexpected alliance, agreeing to help each other with resources from Mondstadt and Inazuma in exchange for a share of the spoils.
"I’m not sure this is a good idea," Wanderer muttered, eying the two. "The two of you together are a bit too... idealistic."
Kazuha smiled. "It’s not about ideals, Wanderer. It’s about finding harmony. And besides," he added, pointing at the board, "having a bit of fun."
Wanderer, still skeptical, surveyed the board with a grimace. He rolled his dice—yet again, another 2. "I’m really starting to hate these dice."
Meanwhile, Heizou was scheming. "I think I’ll take a page out of your book, Xiao," he said with a grin. "I’ll focus on accumulating influence rather than brute strength. That’ll make me a formidable opponent when the time comes."
Xiao just gave him a quiet, disinterested look. "Do what you must."
The Traveler continued to hold their lead, collecting both resources and alliances from the different countries. They were the silent, calculating force in the game. Though no one was able to predict your next move, it was clear that no one was underestimating you.
The Final Stretch
As the game neared its climax, tensions began to rise. The alliances that had formed earlier were starting to crumble, and some players began to realize they would have to betray others to win.
Heizou suddenly looked over at you, an almost conspiratorial gleam in his eyes. "You know, Traveler," he began, leaning closer, "I’ve been watching you. You’re very good at this game. But... are you really in control, or is something else guiding your hand?"
You raised an eyebrow, a smile tugging at the corner of your lips. "Let’s just say I have my own way of understanding Teyvet’s intricacies. Every choice matters."
Venti snickered from the other side of the table. "Ah, but that’s what makes this game fun! Who knows what tricks the others might have up their sleeves?"
Kazuha, ever the poet, smiled as he moved his piece. "In the end, it’s not just about winning, but the journey we take to get there."
Xiao didn’t respond, his focus unwavering as he slowly surrounded and cut off territories from both Wanderer and Heizou.
The tension in the air was palpable as everyone took their final turns, negotiating, plotting, and making their final moves. Eventually, it came down to you and one other player. The board was split down the middle, with territories controlled by both the Traveler and their rival.
"Well," Wanderer sighed dramatically, looking over at you. "Looks like you’ve won, haven’t you?"
You glanced at the board and nodded. "It’s been a long game, but yes. I have control of Teyvet."
Venti clapped his hands in mock applause. "And the crown goes to... our ever-calculating Traveler!"
"Well played," Kazuha said, his smile warm. "You truly understood the rhythms of the game."
Xiao, ever the quiet one, gave a rare nod of approval. "You deserved it."
Heizou chuckled. "I have to admit, I underestimated you."
"That’s the game for you," you said with a grin. "Every move is a calculated risk."
Tumblr media
As the night ended and the game was packed away, everyone shared stories of their own nations and adventures, discussing what could have been and what might have been had the game been different. Laughter filled the room, and even Wanderer, who had grudgingly admitted his defeat, seemed to enjoy the friendly rivalry.
"This was a good distraction," Xiao muttered, finally unguarded as he took a drink from his cup. "Though, next time, I’ll be the one to win."
Venti grinned, raising a cup in mock salute. "A challenge, Xiao? I’ll be waiting."
As the stars twinkled outside, you couldn't help but smile. Maybe Teyvet would never be as simple as a board game—but for tonight, it had been a game worth playing.
And, perhaps, in the future, the countries of Teyvet would see more than just politics. They’d see the camaraderie born from games, laughter, and shared moments of lighthearted fun.
After all, in this world, even the smallest victories mattered.

hello! i get trauma related night terrors pretty often, so could i request big brother xiao comfort for that? you don’t need to go into any detail at all about the actual nightmares, just hugs and comfort after calling xiao’s name after a night terror. tysm! 💕
how does xiao comfort his sibling after night terrors?
summary. what does xiao do when his sibling has night terrors?
trigger & content warnings. night terrors.
tropes, pairings, fic length, & other notes. comfort. xiao & younger sibling!reader. 0.4k words. they/them pronouns for reader. author's thoughts. yes of course! i'm sorry you have to deal with that, i hope this brings you some kind of comfort. c: i don't know a lot about night terrors because i haven't dealt with them myself, so if something feels inaccurate, feel free to send me another ask about it & i'll do what i can to fix it.
Tumblr media
the second [name] shrieks out for xiao, he's there, polearm out and ready to dispose of any threats to his sibling.
of course, this threat is not one that can be removed with violence and aggression. if anything, that may very well make it worse.
he's quick to realize that the threat which compelled them to call out for him is not physical, but rather, mental. that is not something he can fix as easily.
nonetheless, he stalks over to their bedside like some kind of ominous sleep paralysis demon.
he is anything but, of course, however he can't really help that he's somewhat hesitant to approach them out of fear of scaring their half-asleep mind more.
he isn't known for being the softest person on teyvat, so the chances of him scaring them are a little too high for his liking.
his specialty is killing.
he could kill with ease. he would gladly do it for those who cannot, those who do not have the strength to do so.
this is different.
he means well, though. he really does.
it's with gentle, slow motions that he climbs to their side. at this point, they're a little more awake, a little more aware, so they quietly scoot closer to him.
he gingerly guides their head to rest in his lap, giving them one of his hands to squeeze when they tiredly reach out for him as if they somehow wanted to get closer than they already were.
it's as if they were trying to merge with his side—not that he minded, of course. his warmth seems to bring their unconscious self some comfort. who is he to take that away from them? what kind of older brother would he be if he did that?
xiao isn't great with words. he's poor at expressing his concern in an honest and straightforward way, so he doesn't say anything much.
the most verbal comfort he can comfortably offer is a soothing hush here and there whenever he senses that they're getting stressed again.
he stays there until dawn, only disappearing in a soft burst of air when he sees their eyelids twitch and feels them stir slightly.
there's no indication that he was ever there, really, except for the way their sheets and blankets are a bit messed up, but that could be attributed simply to the night terrors.
that morning, it's unlikely that they'll remember much of anything about this episode except perhaps a small fragment of the nightmare they had, but xiao will.
he will always remember, and it will always make his heart ache when he does.
he just loves them a whole lot and wants them to feel better.
please consider reblogging, it helps me out quite a lot!

(A soft, fluffy continuation to this post about Xiao's reading and writing skills (or lack thereof)
Teaching Xiao how to read and write would be a tedious and difficult endeavour for everybody involved. He may not catch on to what you're doing at first, but once he does he'll do everything in his power to try and avoid it. He's super embarrassed at how far behind he is, and he doesn't want to be perceived as weak in any way, shape or form, especially not by you, someone he's sworn to protect.
It may seem like he's pushing you away at first, and eventually an intervention needs to be staged - whether you bring in Zhongli and some of the other adepti to help explain it all, or confront Xiao on your own, he'll respond better once you've been open and direct with him about what you're doing and why.
Though he is genuinely trying his best, Xiao simply isn't accustomed to sitting still and trying to learn. He's hard-wired for vigilance and combat, so it's nigh on impossible to get him to stay in his seat. He's up and about, wandering the area and trying to keep an eye out for any possible danger, no matter how much you assure him that there's none to be found. You can only get him to sit down for five or ten minutes at a time before he needs a break, or else he starts to get destructive.
Once he's settled a bit and started to write, it comes out stiff and awkward - he always holds his brush like a weapon, no matter how much you try to teach him otherwise. You can say it as often as you like, but Xiao simply cannot pull himself out of combat mode. To him, this is a battle like any other, he's just conquering worksheets instead of demons.
He always makes an utter mess of the inks and chews on the writing tools when you take your eyes off of him - he likes the texture of the wood splintering between his teeth.
His embarrassment and shyness also mean that he finds it really difficult to speak up when he's having trouble with something, no matter how much you reassure him that it's okay to ask for help. He also does well when you're working alongside him, even if it's on something else.
Teaching Xiao these skills is an arduous task, but he retains the information well, even after long gaps between lessons. You may find that occasionally rewarding him with little treats may also boost his productivity somewhat. Not necessarily food, but small trinkets, head scritches and hair brushing tend to be great bribes to coax Xiao into working towards a goal.
He'd never tell you, but one of the main reasons he said yes to your teaching proposition is because he wants to be able to read and enjoy your favourite books alongside you. He even ends up spending some extra time around others so that he can ask them for the definition of words he's not sure about as he slowly but surely progresses through the book during quiet restful periods of time.
One day, you'll find that he's speaking in an awkward, stilted sort of way, perhaps saying things that don't exactly fit into the context of the situation. How quickly you realise depends on what your memory for quotes is like, but you come to the conclusion in the end anyways - he's quoting your favourite books to you, trying to tell you that he read them without outright saying it.
He's secretly really proud of himself for being able to make it through an entire book. Though he may not fully understand certain parts of it, and the deeper meanings still elude him, he's just delighted that he was finally able to share something so special and meaningful with you.
You may even start to receive mysterious, unsigned letters on important dates and holidays - rolled up in pretty, loose ribbons and covered in blocky, awkward handwriting. Unsigned, but filled with love nonetheless.
Please don't repost, steal, copy or otherwise plagiarise my writing! I do not consent for my works to be translated and posted elsewhere, or copy - pasted into bot or AI technology

SAGAU Winged Creator
A/N: Two writings in one day?? Can be read as platonic or romantic, just a silly, goofy idea I has a while back.
Tumblr media
Sagau, winged creator and Xiao being messengers. Like, Ninguang needed a letter sent to Beidou and The Creator just jumping at the opportunity to really stretch their wings. Of course, Xiao - ever the protector - naturally worries about their safety. So in a cheeky tone, The Creator suggests that Xiao spread his wings and fly with them to deliver the letters.
Now, The Creator's wings are similar to an Albatrosses, meaning they can lock their wings and float along wind currents - however, our dearest Xiao cannot. Meaning halfway through the journey, while The Creator hasn't even broken a sweat, Xiao is almost, basically falling out of the sky.
Xiao is in complete denial about this however- insisting that he is fine and not to worry about him. The Creator- the all knowing little bastard, just kind of- plucks him out of the air and just starts carrying him.
Xiao proceeds to flip out, telling The Creator not to waste their energy, and that he doesn't need to be carried. The Creator smugly says "I haven't broken a single swear while you are basically falling out of the sky. Besides- you're seriously telling me that you don't want me to hold you oh so closely?".
One peak down at Xiao's face reveals that even though his face is turned away, his ears are a violent shade of red. One angsty huff of breath later and a timid voice says "...I suppose carrying me for a short while would be beneficial...".
After carrying Xiao the rest of the way (despite his insistent protests-) and delivering the letters, you notice that Xiao seems to be experiencing some back pains! Which are most likely due to him straining himself back in the air.
As the gracious and kind Creator you are, you strongly encourage basically force him to let you give him a back/wing massage. He strongly resists at first- "such menial labour is beyond you, Youe Grave!".
However, no one can resist the chance to get a massage by the one and only Creator for long and soon enough, Xiao has melted into the bed, making the most heavenly noises while you massage his back muscles and the muscles in his wings.

hold me tight and never let go
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: yang xiao long x gn!reader
summary: yang comforts you by cuddling together!
tags: wholesome fluff, romantic/platonic relationship, physical affection (hugging/cuddling), comfort with no hurt
Tumblr media
“i-is this… really okay?”
yang had her arms wrapped around you and while you should feel so comfortable being held by her, you couldn't help but worry. what if she felt pressured to do this? what if she was just being nice and you were taking advantage of her kindness? what if–
“you don't have to worry so much” yang carefully tightened the grip she had on you, snuggling a bit closer, to show you that she too wanted this. “i'll hold you as long as you want and i'm not letting go”
you hesitated a moment, before slowly relaxing a little. you hadn't even realized how tense you were, but now that you were relaxing in yang's arms, it was as if all of your worries seemed to get washed away as well. it was impossible to think about anything that usually troubled you, when yang was so close to you and you could feel her fingers drawing gentle circles onto your arm, while holding you tight.

Welcome to Teyvat (Genshin Impact Self Aware)
You try not to panic. When you woke up you were greeted by blue sky and not by ceiling of your room. You were lying on the grass and when you sat up, you felt the breeze caressing your skin. You wanted to think that this is a dream, but you can feel too much for to be it. The texture of grass, the cold breeze, the smell of some flowers and trees, the sounds of birds and other animals.
But how did you end up here? Looking around you feel like you do recognize this place but you’re not sure from where. And then you heard footsteps behind you and someone calling you, the voice of one of your most favorite character. -“I’m glad you’re alright (Y/n).” You turned around to see the team you use most of time when you play Genshin. “Is this is real?” you asked yourself, not believing that they stand now in front of you. They slowly approached you, probably not wanting to scare you. They smiled and held out their hand to you. -“You don’t have to be afraid, I won’t let anything bad happened to you.” they said. You slowly placed your hand in theirs, feeling the warmth of another living being. “So this has to be real…but how?” you can’t help but wonder. -“Welcome in Teyvat (Y/n).” they smiled again, holding onto your hand. You smiled back but deep inside you felt uncomfortable, like something is not right. You should be happy to be here but you can’t stop thinking… how did you end up here in first place?
