There’s probably more I can did up like the classic Hiccup Haddock and Jack Frost but I wanted to get into specifics!

Extra note to add: also had a crush on the characters they were/are shipped with so the bi panic goes my way as well

After watching 'The Deep' again, I cannot tell apart Eli's voice and Smiling Finn's voice. They have the same tone and pitch which makes sense given both are about 15-16 years old in their respective shows. And it probably does help they share a VA in the talented Sam Vincent.

Another age swap au doodle, but one I’ve been wanting to draw for forever now and finally did

Fontaine and Finn find out that Ant and Maddie are hanging out outside of their families skirmishes, and seem to actually get along (they’re besties your honor). And their twelve year old brains just automatically assume that Ant and Maddie are in fact either dating or have a crush on each other. They could not be further from the truth, and nothing Ant and Maddie tell them will convince them otherwise.

Finn thinks it’s romantic. Fontaine thinks that Maddie is the only girl that could ever stand her brother. They’re both immensely disappointed and devastated to find out that Ant’s actually already taken, and that what’s going on between him and Maddie is strictly platonic. Finn is devastated to find out the Romeo and Juliet love story he was orchestrating was a bust. Fontaine is devastated to find out that her dumb older brother is actually what Kari is into

I just got back into the Deep and there is absolutely no way that Finn's stupid little goatee is real. That boy draws it on in the morning with waterproof eyeliner because he refuses to use sharpie.

Made this of Finn & Maddie when they were younger. Even though it is very scribbly I have tried to keep a few details, I’m going to yitter about it real quick so skip the next paragraph if ydgaf.

Maddie is meant to be about 5-6 and Finn is about 11-12. I’m not the best at drawing children, ( I’ve always drawn people about 16 or older) so sorry if the age doesn’t look quite accurate. I gave them a fair few bumps, bruises and torn up clothes because I believe that Maddie is not the type of child to keep herself out of chaos, also due to general pirate shenanigans eg; bumpy sub; pirate attacks/sabotages; treasure hunts; floating market; etc. I drew Maddie with untied shoelaces because I feel like she would be careless like that but the way I coloured it makes it very unclear (sos lol). I attempted to give Maddie a more childish version of her current top, I think it worked(?) Maddie’s hair also isn’t tied up because I thought it would look nice. I gave Finn a flip phone because I would assume he would carry out errands out for his dad. It’s a bit difficult to tell but when the show started (December 2015) Finn would of been born in 1999 but obviously he didn’t really age with the show so now you could argue he was born 2008-2009 and the producers have decided to give Finn a modern phone since but in this photo I decided to place it in 2010-2011 which obviously smartphones existed but realistically who had a smartphone as their first phone? Especially in 2010-11. Finn’s outfit is inspired by his old design that didn’t make it to its final product.
