After watching 'The Deep' again, I cannot tell apart Eli's voice and Smiling Finn's voice. They have the same tone and pitch which makes sense given both are about 15-16 years old in their respective shows. And it probably does help they share a VA in the talented Sam Vincent.

Do not take any of these designs (except Ant and maybe the pirates) as final designs. I actually really don’t like the way I drew Fontaine, and this is my first and second time drawing Nereus and Alpheus in this world respectively. Nothing’s cemented with any of them yet.

I just got back into the Deep and there is absolutely no way that Finn's stupid little goatee is real. That boy draws it on in the morning with waterproof eyeliner because he refuses to use sharpie.

He was a bit clapped so I cracked open a sketch book to get a better idea of what I wanted it to look like. Not much has changed, just some proper shading and some texture. I wanted to do a sun set for the background but I also wanted to keep his favourite colour so I’ve done both.

(I also watched a YouTube tutorial for Procreate because I had no idea what I was doing)

Here we go, the three core members of the Dark Orca's crew for this AU (Dannyboy is far more important than Tallulah for the actual running of the vessel, but he's more of a side character for the narrative).

In this AU, Finn has spent the better part of a decade growing up in a village in the Yorkshire dales, living with his maternal uncle while his mother systematically hunted down Proteus, the man behind the deaths of his father and paternal aunt.

Finn was nine when his mother left him in Heckmondwhite, and befriended some of the local boys whose mother had walked out on them too, particularly Cain because they were the closest in age at a little less than a year apart. That friendship tended to run hot and cold though, as Finn's mother came back every Christmas to spend the holidays with her kids and Cain's mother did not.

As teenagers, Finn and Tallulah bonded over having complicated relationships with mothers they barely get to see, and were surprised but pleased to see each other at Tom and Narayana's wedding. That family connection, no matter how tenuous it was, is why Tallulah ended up joining the Dark Orca's crew when her mother pulled her out of Dother Hall following the second gun incident.

This is my opinion with Zodiac Signs. I'm the only person who believes that I know about Zodiac Signs. Because I'm not sure if it's true or not. So, I'm Aquarius with Ant and I'm the only person who I like The Deep and I writing the Zodiac Signs in The Deep Characters.

I don’t know if it’s been said before, but I’m saying it now, cause I’m drawing Finn. But there’s no way that boy isn’t wearing mascara. His eyelashes are absurdly big compared to the way the other male characters eyes are animated

So uh... Ik it's supposed to be a kids show but honestly The Deep is something I am obsessed with. Like ever since Season four came out, I've already watched it what 15 times and I'm almost done with season 3 for the sixteenth time. And let me tell you, 4 season for a total of 65 eps fifteen, almost sixteen, times is a lot of time. I didn't have access to it until like late November or somethin' like that. You can do the math but I think that just shows how dedicated to it I am.

And like how I am with almost anything I read or watch, I create scenarios and maybe even fan fictions about them. So be on the look out for a lot of those because I ain't stoppin' anytime soon.
