do we think the room across from Caterina's room is Illario's room or do we think it's Lucanis' room and Illario just yoinked it? because inside it we see a letter from Illario to Lucanis, but we also see a burnt letter from Zara to Illario. and a lute. so either this is Lucanis' room and Illario moved in but hasn't moved the first letter (ouch) or it's always been Illario's room and he found it among Lucanis' belongings and kept it (double ouch). it's also possible that they shared it and Illario just moved the second bed out but that's a big house I doubt they'd share a room.

As Raven Beak displays his mastery over the ringtone. so too does she have this power.#she has the upper hand in some places: lips and teeth allow her more tools with which to execute the finer points of complex noises #but her elders have tricks of their own.#Raven Beak can imitate human kissy noises in his throat using the very back of his tongue #making noises at each other is honestly one of their best bonding activities so far.#though they're usually sitting across the room from each other when they come out with the ear blast-tier moves #they don't need to talk to each other. don't even need to look at each other. they can just sit in the living room and go back and forth #with noises. they get competitive sometimes. that's typically when the loud stuff comes into play.#sometimes they have these wordless competitions of who can make the most intricate noises or the loudest noises or the weirdest noises #or they try to see who can make the most outlandish sound that flesh can feasibly make. like heavy machinery. stuff that you wouldn't expec #someone to be able to make on their own without the help of equipment.

i decided to downsize my tarantula collection 😪 everyone's getting so big now, and is taking up so much more space. it was getting kind of crazy with the amount of huge enclosures i had in here. so i re-homed 7 of them. i went from 22 tarantulas to "only" 15.

the person who took them was really excited and seemed very passionate about keeping t's, so i'm happy they went to a good home ❤️ i may end up re-homing a few more in the future, we'll see.

so these are the 7 i sold. in order of the pictures: b.auratum, c.natanicharum, b.boehmei, a.geniculata, p.murinus, d.pentaloris, and the last two pictures are the d.diamantinensis 🕷️

#it sucked having to choose which ones to re-home #but man the amount of room even just those 7 took up.. i had them out on my couch before they got picked up #and all 7 enclosures took up the entire 3 seater couch #tarantulas #tarantulablr #spiders #right now i'm trying to downsize enough so i can swap out the ugly chrome shelving unit in my living room with all my enclosures on it #to a much nicer looking and a bit smaller black shelving unit

I see a lot of smack talk from the younglings about the "Sad Beige Millenial Aesthetic" - and while I agree that some Youtube Mums should get prison time for doing their kids' nurseries that way, I cannot stress enough the calming effect this aesthetic has on my "undiagnosed for 39yrs" ADHD brain.

Let me have my stark white Ikea furniture and my muddy coloured accessories, it helps me get the laundry folded before my kids outgrow it 🙈

#honestly #the amount of sensory overwhelmed I have thrown out when I went for Sad Millenial in the up stairs of our home #our downstairs - kitchen and living slash dining room are super colourful #with fun rugs and all that shizz #but those rooms are MASSIVE #they need the colour and the fun shit lest they look like a hospital waiting area #but the upstairs is three bedroom a walk in closer and the big bath #plus slanted walls #because the roof goes low #so all the rooms are a lot smaller with very little wall space to put furniture #they'd just look cluttered that way #which they did #I still have before and after pictures of when we did the kids' rooms #as I told my husband #since I do the Lion's share of ending this house I get to decide how it's made #I wouldn't get anything he hates #but eg when he said he doesn't need a bedside lamp I told him tough luck the big light is evil 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

I wish there were a better and more specific word for being made anxious by open spaces, big rooms, high ceilings, etc. And feeling comforted by closed in small spaces with low ceilings. If you say you're agoraphobic, people think that means you're anxious about leaving the house. One possible meaning is even a fear of being closed in.

How do I describe the urge to be in tiny low-ceilinged rooms. How do I explain the need to close the shower curtain when I'm not using the shower in order to "shrink" my bathroom so I feel less anxious being in there.
