In the meantime, we thought this was a great opportunity to share two books that we’ve found ourselves going back to during this early time in Plant Basting’s life.

🔝 Top: Advertising Secrets of the Written Word by Joseph Sugarman is a pretty expensive book to get your hands on, but it’s laden with details about how ads are constructed. Sugarman does not come to play in matters of the written word.

Bottom: The Startup Owner's Manual is a book every small, and large, business owner should have. A tried and true book of clear steps and lessons for any business venture. It’s not a book that needs to be read all at once so ignore the size. It’s more a manual for you to refer to when things get foggy 🌫 😶‍🌫️

👉🏽 For anyone who can’t shell out money right now, there is a pdf version of The Startup Owner’s Manual. Just Google, “startup owners manual pdf”. It should be the first result, but if you can’t find it dm us and we’ll send you the link.

Believing in food is easy, but we can admit believing in yourself can be challenging at times. At Plant Basting, we believe in food and the people behind it!

One of our main focuses is to bring awareness and funnel resources to underrepresented plant based/vegan business owners who deserve it. Because running a business can be difficult, even when equipped with all the belief you can muster. We’ve loved highlighting local businesses and what makes them unique recently! Expect more content like that, along with helpful info for entrepreneurs and business owners in the plant based/vegan space!

Hi you all! I realized I have so many new people who joined this community recently and it would be great if I introduced myself, tell you guys a bit about me and how things started and also know a bit about you too! So, my name is Vaishali. I am from India, my hometown is quite famous worldwide in case you have heard about it because of the Queen who ruled the city, Jhansi. I started 'Artenderfoot' last year during pandemic lockdown when I was at home. I had just finished my graduation. My home is old and small, so I made a corner of nearly 2ft by 3ft my work studio. Few months back, I moved to a different City and now I have a bigger studio space that I am so grateful for. I pursued Fashion Design in college, thought that's what I want to do in life but in the mid way realised I was walking on the wrong path. Being an artist was my childhood's lost dream. My college days were hard, actually I hardly remember them. There were small to big hardships, fear to even start my own thing. But I knew I will be never be ready, i just need to take my first step and i'll figure out my way myself. It might be a small brand, a small community right now, but thanks to each one of you for being here. I am just happy to do what I do now. I am doing what I love, it might small but means the world to me.
