So there are somethings happening in the Atlantic right now. The Polar Prince - the mother ship of Titan - is still at the scene of the RMS Titanic Wreckage spot. The mother ship probably won't leave until the Titan is returned or they know it's whereabouts or unless for whatever reason the search is called off. Good News: The Atalante - The French ship - is almost there! She is the only ship that is capable to retrieve Titan. They can see her now from North-East of the Atlantic Ocean. There are three special crafts and two of them are spot on the dot of the Titanic Wreckage. These could be robots, drones or more P8. There is a hauler with a big crane on it. They are also scanning the water and this will show them possibly the Titanic to see if anything change with the wreckage and sea floor in hopes to spot the Titan. This is vital for the Atalante and it gives her a map to dive it's underwater vehicle called the Victor 6000. Victor has the ability to repair submersibles of minor fractions and it can haul subs back to the surface with it's Flyaway Deep Ocean Salvage System. It helped rescue a helicopter from 19,085 ft deep on land in 2021. ROV Odysseus 6K was also sent to assist. It's on a plane but there is no word if it's at the site yet. It's also unclear if Deep Energy - the pipe-laying ship - have dropped it's ROVs yet. There are three other vessels in the area due to the expansion of the search area in the south of the Atlantic Ocean. They want to cover all corners in case of the Titan's sudden return to the surface or debris. The Horizon Arctic - Canadian ship - is now entering the Atlantic but she probably will not get there until tomorrow.

A lot of things are expected to happen soon as Atalante arrives and the mission will start fast. They'll likely start diving before midnight. If they are able to spot Titan before the dive, this is going to be like trying to get a small toy out of a claw machine. I have heard that if the Titan is stuck in the Titanic but still close to the surface of the bow or decks.... they may have to tear her open which would result in further decay of the shipwreck. The Victor 6000 is compared to something like the jaws of life. This in itself is a very dangerous mission if they have to go this route because the shipwreck is unpredictable and could cause the whole thing to pin both the Titan and Victor plus any other submersible that maybe in the water. We will just have to wait and see what they do. I hope they get those sonar images before the dive soon! It will be a lot safer for them and they'll what they are going into when they get down there.

Week 5 of golfing, well I guess you can say week 5 I only got to of to the driving range once this week. From working late at work to my boyfriends other hobbies, dirt bikes, I just didn't have time. -How long have you been a part of the fandom?

I've been online and contributing on-and-off since 2009! before that, i was a lurker for a year or two. cars fanfiction on ffnet got me into writing and changed the entire course of my life, which is pretty hilarious. I've only taken 2 breaks from the fandom in my life- from about 2012-2016 (i focused on x-men during this time), and then in mid 2020-mid 2024 (focused on minecraft). my favorite early contribution to the fandom has to be this fanart of doc and lightning. note the date posted ;) and yes, that is oldschool DA-speak <3

-How did you get involved in the fandom?

I was always an artist and writer- i was writing, illustrating, and binding my own little 'books' at age 5. i liked to draw and write, so i did. a few years later, this naturally extended to cars. i got online and started sharing, and i've never stopped. later on, the cars 3 hype period led me to create a discord account in 2017. in the ensuing chaos of discords being deleted repeatedly, i was recruited by someone similarly responsible-minded and set up the carburetor county server, which still stands today. ive met some of the most wonderful people thru that server/thru tumblr and in this fandom.

-Who is your favorite character and why?

HEHEHE. well first of all, i should start by saying ive always loved anthropomorphic machines. i grew up on ttte. for my 3rd birthday they got me an engineer's cap. they used to take me trainspotting to calm me down. now, picture 7 year old me standing in front of the CRT cassette-cabinet, excitedly playing the brand-new Incredibles 2-disc DVD set on our brand-new DVD player in november 2004, and lightning mcqueen appears onscreen. oh i was done for from the start. its been 20 long years of Favorite Character. and seeing Cars finally, after a year and a half of tv commercials? i was lightning mcqueen at recess. i started the fourth grade and introduced myself by saying i'd watched Cars over the summer and that everyone else should, too. the only merch i owned was an empty promotional cereal box because the lightning mcqueen mcdonalds toy was impossible to come by, so if i wanted to see any pictures of the characters i had to look at the cereal box because there was no computer and the movie wasnt on dvd yet. ah but the question is Why. obviously i must have some form of autism or adhd or something, but beyond that there's still plenty reason. (i tried to write it out, but have a List Of Madness instead.) let's start out easy: he's fucking hilarious. he's mean, he speaks his mind, and hes got bite to go with the bark. his relentless bitchy nature makes him a perfect target for slapstick karma. he's clueless, he doesnt know anything. out loud he talks smack but his actions? theyre all sweet. complains about tractor tipping but goes with mater and hangs out anyway. goes 'yeah okay 🙄' to cruz but gives her his racing number. whines about the 'schoolbus of death' but he jumps in front to help without thinking. calls doc selfish and a liar but thinks about him when he gives up his dreams. he says 'light your neon' and they leave it on for 20 years. he takes puns literally. he snores. he drives like he's dancing. he has stress dreams. he cant act. he hallucinates. he's an insomniac. hes secretly a nervous wreck. hes braver than all of us combined. he's a blue-eyed man who punches the walls. everyone hates him. everyone loves him. he refused to sign any racing deals unless mack was his hauler. he has to pave the stupid road and do character-building manual labor but by god hes going to do a good job. he's going to figure out that stupid turn and better himself even if he's up all night because he refuses to give up. when smokey reminds him that people care about him and asks him to find himself again, he lifts his chin and says 'yes sir' like he means it. he's also a really cool vehicle, like on a technical level. and his design kicks ass. incredible mix of 'cute talking cartoon car' and 'holy shit thats an awesome piece of machinery'. (i would show some of my spec notes but theyre at least 20% headcanon). hes detailed, hes lovingly made and developed and cared for as a character. this all doesnt even Begin to cover why i like LMQ honestly, none of this is the type of deeper character analysis i would Like to say. but to me, he is the coolest guy ever, and he makes me very happy.

1 and 2: I've been a fan of Cars since 2006, when I saw it in the theater. Only within the last year have I gone balls-to-the wall with hyperfixating posting WOC art online, writing fanfiction, and generally interacting with the fandom...so I guess I'm pretty new to the things, here. I'm not super active online because of my work schedule (I'm a groundskeepee for a local zoo), but I try the best I can with the time/energy I have at the end of the day.

3. Doc Hudson, hands-down. When I first saw the movie, I liked Doc...but thought he was being rude and unfair to Lightning. Fast forward a while to when I got my dream job, teaching college geology. After three years, I realized that the admins didn't give a shit about education and that they seemed to be doing everything in their power to shut down anything that myself, or other professors, tried to do for the student body. I quickly became disillusioned by the apathy and lack of support...and I had to resign because the stress was literally killing me. I know now that this is a common theme in higher ed...but all I wanted to do was teach. To see that flame of understanding kindled in the eyes of my students...

To lose that, was like having my soul pureed in a blender, and I...havent been able to teach since.

Every time I hear Doc's line "there was a lot left in me, and I never got the chance to show 'em"...I tear up. He's still reeling from an apathy that ended his career ..and I understand how hard that feeling can be to rebound from, how you can lock everything in a garage and hide behind a new personality... because your old life is too painful to think about.

Any pickup truck could make our list, but since the Ridgeline shares a platform with the Honda Pilot crossover SUV, it’s the smoothest-riding pickup and our pick for an impromptu camper. The truck bed extends from 64 inches to 83 inches with the tailgate down, which is long enough to be a makeshift bed in a pinch. With 50 inches across, a twin mattress could fit, or a full-size could get squeezed by the wheel wells. If not being used as a pillow, the dual-action tailgate swings out to the left for easier bed access and a clever floor locker can double as a cooler. A truck-bed audio system on the RTL-E trim sweetens the deal, and an available bed extender or roof-mounted bike carrier means you can bring along the toys. There are some pretty sweet aftermarket tents that extend over the bed, as well.

Jeep’s mid-size pickup truck, or the Wrangler with a bed, offers all the capability of a Wrangler with the added versatility of a pickup that can tow up to 7,650 pounds. And you can take off the roof and doors for a night under the stars. For off-roaders, the long wheelbase limits its breakover angle compared to the Wrangler, though there are few places that would worry the Gladiator. The 5-foot steel cargo bed might not be the best for sleeping, but the available Trail Rail system with a 115-volt AC outlet and all the Mopar parts means you can equip the Gladiator in a way that tells others: “I’ll sleep when I die.”

As much as we love the performance from the 475-hp 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 in the Durango SRT, we prize the three-row SUV here for its towing capacity of up to 8,700 pounds ($1,195 package required), which is the most for any SUV not based on a truck. That’s good enough to tow some 30-foot travel trailers, and when you unhitch it at the campsite you can cruise around the local sights with gusto. Or find a straight to hit 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Careful on arriving at the campground late or leaving early; the unabashed V-8 rumble might cause your neighbors to enact social distancing in a much more hostile way. It seats six, too, with comfy buckets in the first two rows, so if you had to sleep in the car, you could recline and cocoon yourself in blankets or catch a flick on the rear entertainment center ($1,995). That’s not really camping but at least you’re out of the house.

It doesn’t matter that this three-row SUV is nearly old enough to get its own driver’s license, the Land Cruiser is beloved the world over for its rugged capability and SUV versatility. The 381-hp V-8 and truck frame give this heavy 4×4 the kind of off-road confidence expected in a truck but with a boxy body. It seats eight but no one will be happy about that. The third row can never get out of its own way, however, even if it’s split and swung out to rest against the wall. The off-road ready Heritage Edition deletes the third row to seat five, and comes with a mega roof rack coveted by posers and brozers alike. Options are limited but tow hooks, skid plates, mud-and-snow tires, a split liftgate/tailgate, and an integrated hitch capable of towing 8,100 pounds come standard. What it lacks in interior refinement and features, the Land Cruiser makes up for in bona fide go-anywhere capability. It’s not the roomiest if you need to crash in it overnight, but there are so many aftermarket accessories and roof-top tents you may never need to.

Ever so carefully, the Toy Soldier ran a single finger over the small mouse head, in a mimicry of how they used the very same hand to card through her hair only minutes prior.

Blood streaked the Toy Soldier's face and mixed indistinguishably with all its paint that had melted and ran in long lines. In the bright lighting of the hauler, its face looked little more than a flat plane. Even the lines of its jaw clogged up with thick, semi-congealed fluids. Still, it hoped fondness shone through.

It held Lyric close to its chest once more, curled so that any to walk in could not easily see exactly what it was holding, right where a real person would have a heart.

They transform into a little mouse, fitting into the palm of its hand.

So, when you get to the show venue, I’m gonna hop out of your pocket and sit in the rafters to watch, and when you’re done, I’ll jump back down onto your shoulder. Sound good?

The mighty TONKANATOR has hit shelves, and he is delightful. But did you know this is not the first time Tonka and Transformers have crossed paths? Let's go back twenty years for November 2022's Patreon-backed @tfwiki theme!

Hasbro acquired Tonka in 1991. Ten years later, Tonka released the first toy in the 1-2-3 TRANSFORMERS line: the sublime RESCUE ROY! I love him. Lights, sounds, voice clips, good stuff. (Old pic)

The following year, the much smaller CHARLIE CHOPPER and POLICEMAN PETE were released, both having lights, sounds and voice clips. They also got multiple accessories, something Roy didn't!

These molds then got redecoed and released as AIRLIFT ANDY and FIRE MARSHALL MIKE, joining Toy's firefighting force. These toys were the last of the 1-2-3s and didn't exactly get widely distributed.

The three 1-2-3 molds were lightly redecoed for the Takara "Rescue Hero Go-Bots" kids' line, which rolled these toys in with the Playskool GoGoGoBots molds.

And then… well nothing for a long time. But the Collaborative line isn't above crossing over with other Hasbro properties, thus Tonkanator, the latest iteration of the G1 Constructicon molds! These toys have a gorgeous gunmetal gray, as seen on MEGA DOZER and MEGA HAULER (6/)

POWER DIGGER is the only one of the set to actually share a name with a Tonka construction vehicle toy: the 2001 Remote Control Power Digger excavator!

Just take in MOTOR LOAD (no we are not doing phrasing), MOTORMIX and SKYHOOK. And their shiny, shiny decals. Shiny, fragile decals.

And, because it's nigh Thanksgiving, let's round things out with a thematically-appropriate piece from BotBots (because I'm me), namely, COLD TURKEY from the newly-released Series 6 Hunger Hubs.
