Sometimes I rlly do forget how hanzo really mangled his brother up. Like the fact that we see genji in the state he is now... you can tell that wasnt just one quick slice. Dude was dismembered, like shredded.

I forget if hanzo was forced to kill him or if that's just fanfiction melting my brain. But if he wasn't that was a crime of pure passion and built up tension my god.

There's two head cannons I have about Genji's height:

1. Genji for most of his childhood was very short, skinny and very overall small. He was just very small for his age, UNTILL he suddenly hit a growth spurt at some point where he shot up in height past Hanzo and put on a lot of visible muscle mass making him at the time not only taller but physically bigger than Hanzo making his sparrow nickname very ironic. This also annoyed Hanzo so much especially with the amount of "I guess you're the little brother now" jokes he'd make.

2. Genji and Cassidy are actually very close in height, because when you compare their models heights Genji is like an inch shorter, and since I imagine Genji to be around 5'11-6ft, and Cassidy is canonically 6'1, and when you look at cassidy's black watch skin and I'm pretty sure it's on his OverWatch one and two skins but he has a higher heel on his boots which are high enough to the point they're no longer class is just the heel of a cowboy boot but full on classed as high heel boots. And I like to imagine he heard of Genji's reputation from when they had been watching and trying to learn about the shamada clan before they got Genji, heard about his nickname being sparrow and him being known for being quite a small person only for him to be this 6 ft tall buff guy that at the time was almost the same size as him. So he proceeded to start wearing higher heeled boots and workout a lot more in the effort of trying to appear bigger than Genji so he wouldn't be mistaken for the shortest on the team especially after Moira joined.
