Semuanya layak dirayakan....
Aku tahu, Idul fitri adalah hari yang berbahagia bagi tiap keluarga khususnya keluarga muslim. Saling bersimpuh memohon maaf, bercengkrama gembira, dan menyantap hidangan “template hari raya” bersama keluarga.
Yaa, itu kondisi yang sangat ideal, dari paradigma stereotipe masyarakat umum. Namun, apakah dunia ini akan selalu memberikanmu kondisi ideal itu? Tentu saja tidak bukan?!
Semuanya layak dirayakan....
Aku tahu, tidak semua orang dapat merayakan idul fitri dalam kondisi yang ideal. Karena tuntuan pendidikan, pekerjaan, atau urusan lain yang mengharuskan dirimu tetap di tanah rantau. Tapi, apakah mereka bisa merayakannya?

Semuanya layak dirayakan....
Esensi sebuah perayaan adalah ekspresi dari rasa syukur. Rasa syukur tidak mengenal segmen kuantitas sehingga menghadirkan rasa cukup berapapun jumlahnya.
Termasuk di hari Raya Idul Fitri. Dengan kondisi yang tidak ideal dirimu harus mensyukurinya agar dapat merayakan hari raya dengan perasaan yang cukup.
Semuanya layak dirayakan....

Didn't quite make it though the Easter weekend sober, but I managed to control what I drank. A small combination of family support and non-alcoholic beers made small but impactful steps...
It's important to acknowledge that non-alcoholic wines, beers and spirits are not recommended for recovering alcoholics (as they can act as a trigger), however, this is a journey and no effort towards sober should be criticised!

Paper flowers seem beyond you now but you can always go back to the basics, paper cranes are easy enough...
#in stars and time#isat#LMAO I FINISHED BEFORE LUNAR NEW YEAR#anyways if you saw my sketches then you know what the deal is#anyways i want to expand upon paper flowers and the act of giving them through viet siffrin#like folding in important or iconic memories into them to give to someone esp on new year for good luck#perhaps small tiny wishes cradled in lotus flowers for your loved ones to celebrate the lunar new year#maybe even once upon a time a litany of bright and red paper flowers flooded the streets for good fortune#i think siffrin would unconsciously fold a memory into each paper crane they make in an imitation of that#the act of giving oneself and maybe a piece of you being the highlight of the year#that you are made of your community be it enemies and loved ones and you also make up others#can you tell giving the king a flower has impacted me heavily? can you tell????#would love to explore siffrin making paper flowers for their family based on different cherished memories they have of them#in which forgetting is not as scary as i t could be once you know your family has the memories for you#the draws#i forgot i dropped off of tagging spoilers this applies to loop#think of loop making paper cranes at the favor tree made out of leaves#okay im done
